Lo Imperdonable #101 Tue 10/6/15 The Old Goat Croaks, Virginia Finds Her Mom, & Marty Gets A New Home
- Manny tosses AP out of The Goat House and onto the streets.
- Virginia finds out that Salma is her Mommie Dearest.
- When Jorge accepted the divorce and told her that when someone puts a condition to be with the other person it means that there is no love there or the love is dying.
- When Jorge told her that she lives in a bubble of selfishness and that it was clear that the only person she'd do anything for is her darling Ginny.
- When Ginny told her that she didn't have time to spend with her because she had to work.
- When Nicolas told her that if she wanted to give him an opportunity then he'd be willing to go where she wanted.
"They call us The Three Stooges" (left to right: Curly, Larry, and Moe). |
Botel, Joaquin, and Lorenzo of the fake mustache are at La Perla and asking one of the miners about the whereabouts of Remigio (the guy on Manny's payroll who drove the truck and drugged Lorenzo). They find out from the miner that Remigio doesn't work for La Perla anymore and that Remigio started to dedicate himself to fundir (melt) gold. The latter catches the trio's attention. Joaquin now asks the miner about the whereabouts of Manny and is told that Manny hasn't shown up at the mine all day. The trio now leave determined to find both Remigio and then Manny.
Jorge orders the cops to take Marty downtown. Vero says they can't do that if Marty hasn't be found guilty. Marty assures Vero that all this will get cleared up. Vero swears that she'll get him out of this. The cops lead Marty out of the room and Emi is able to blurt out an "infeliz" as Marty is taken away.
"I told you a thousands times that MY plastic surgery is better than YOURS" - Salma |
Instead of clearing things up, Montse and Salma get into a shouting match each defending their own daughter. Montse tells Salma that Ginny made Mariana lie about having been with Ginny and Daniel the day that Vero found Ginny and Daniel at the hotel. Salma, not wanting to hear anymore badmouthing of her darling Ginny, tosses Montse out of the streets.
"Uhh this isn't what it looks like" - Manny |
A frantic AP bangs on the The Goat House door. Manny lets her in and shows his true self to her telling her that she should have died. He gets her in a choke hold just as Raymunda and Blanquita enter the home. Manny lets go of AP and yells at Raymunda and Blanquita telling them that the Old Goat doesn't want to see them. Raymunda snaps at AP blaming her for causing the Old Goat to croak. Die Raymunda. Die. Tomasina shuts Raymunda up (thank you Tomasina!) by telling her to quit arguing and go in and see her Daddy Goat. Manny tries to stop Raymunda from going in but she tells him to move or else. Manny moves. Raymunda and Manny leave. Blanquita hugs AP and tells her that she's glad to see her. AP tells Blanquita that she came back to ask Grandpa Goat for forgiveness but he doesn't want to see her.
"I'm here for the Magic Mike auditions" - Marty |
What the ... Marty is now at the prison for his hearing (?) and is asked to leave his belongings with the guards. The head guard asks him to strip down for revision. Shy Marty wants to know if there is a umm private place for this but he's told that he must do it right then and there. Marty begins to unbutton his shirt. Annnnnd that's all we get .. sorry folks.
"Say what? The McGriddle isn't on the All Day Breakfast menu at McDonalds!" |
Back to the Old Goat who just won't croak already .. darn it. OK, so AP doesn't promise to leave Pablo in order to get Grandpa Goat's forgiveness. Old Goat tells her that marriages are supposed to bring happiness but her marriage is more like a curse. Die Old Goat. Die. He tries to guilt trip her telling her that because of her he is going to croak with a broken heart and with having had the worst last days ever. Die Old Goat. Die. AP cries but stays strong and refuses to promise him to leave Pablo because she's determined to defend her love. During this scene, we see that Manny is in tears, but my money is on him pulling a crocodile tear act just like good old Ginny. Anyway, AP tells Old Goat that her love for Pablo is stronger than what he is asking of her. Annnd now in the worst 180 degrees character change ever .. Old Goat asks AP to take his hand and to hug him (and Manny looks on with a QTH?! expression on his face and can't believe what he is hearing and witnessing). Old Goat tells AP that she's finally the woman that he wanted to make of her .. she's strong and will able to face anything. He's the one who now asks for forgiveness and asks AP to give him her blessing which she does. Now Old Goat tells AP that she has made him proud and that she has taught him that parents should protect their children and let them make their own decisions (QTH?!). He then starts quoting lines from Sancho Panza (Again .. QTH?!) and then *ding dong* the Old Goat has croaked. AP cries and closes his eyes. Manny has tears in his eye but he's not shedding the tears over Grandpa Goat's passing that's for sure.
AP cries. Manny tells her that she did not deserve Grandpa Goat's forgiveness. He tells her to leave town because no one there likes her. She tells him that she was planning on leaving anyway. He tells her that she should have never been born because she has only brought bad things. Manny leaves to go and break the news to Raymunda. Ugh.... we can expect for more wailing from her.
"Knock knock. Anyone there?" - Manny |
Manny is in Old Goat's room and lets out all the hate that he feels for his now deceased Grandpa Goat. He calls the Old Goat a "miserable old man" and kisses the Old Goat's cheek. He tells the Old Goat that he (Old Goat) never suspected when he (Manny) decided to kill him. Manny recalls visiting a brujo named Baye and convincing him that he needed some herbs to help Old Goat out of his misery. Baye ended up giving Manny the herbs he needed. Manny picks up Old Goat's green stick and taps him on the shoulder. He's glad to have gotten rid of the Old Goat and says that now he must get rid of AP as well so he can be the sole heir of the Old Goat's fortune.
"I do the Mugshot better than Justin Beiber". |
At the prison, Marty gets his mugshot taken.

Thanks for covering tonight's epi. I know your recap will be awesome.
Well, I guess that's one down, and a few more to go. I was happy and surprised that AP didn't give into Gramps' demands. She actually defended her marriage to Pablo and her child. I think in the end OG respected AP and her decision, even more than he ever could have respected Raymunda. I think OG saw Raymunda as a person he could control, so he felt he could tell her what to do with her life, as well as the life of her family. With AP he realized that if she could defend her family against him then she was prepared defend it .
Hasta pronto
Last night's episode should be called "The Crying Women". I couldn't take it so I muted the tv. Raymundo is just as bad as her father and I don't see what Joaquin sees in her.
Ginny got a nice anvil when she found out Salma was her mom.
Can someone explain the whole "only 72 hours to prove your innocence" thing? Is that really how it is done in Mexico? Since this wasn't a violent crime how is he not out on bail? Also, this is a complicated business deal so, again, how can this be cleared up in 72 hours?
I must admit that the truth will all come out but the family is irredeemably broken. I don't see how Vero and Marty will ever forget what Emi and Jorge put them through. Salma and Jorge seem irretrievable since she and Nic got their own love song. I was really hoping Emi and Nanci would have hooked up by now just to stick it to Salma and Ginny but that is seeming less likely to happen until the bitter end.
I don't see how Vero's usb showing Ginny leaving and coming will prove that she killed Matilde. Unless she gets the eyewitness, the nurse that saw her and called Dr. D, to admit to seeing her right when Matilde died. Vero was at the prison when Ginny sent that last email to the client. That would be proof she didn't send it. I guess you could argue she delayed the sending....but too technical for a tn right?!
Is Matilde's pic of Ginny and Demi ever going to be found or is that a lost plot point?
If Grumps' last words were true to his heart, he probably respects people who stand up to him and don't kiss his butt. That's probably why he was never that harsh with Blanquita & Polo (and now Ana Perla).
Raymunda is a silly twit, who won't fight for her children and she has jello for a brain. I'm glad Joaquin was like "Crescencio ain't here no more, I don't have to listen to a word he says."
Here's hoping Botel & the gang find the evidence to free Martin. Doesn't look good for him tonight and what if he ends up in the same jail as Aaron?
Virginia's always hated Salma. She just now has a legitimate reason to show it openly. But be careful, Ginny: Salma is your only true ally.
Shut it, Emiliano.
Veronica is the one, though. Virginia can't make them see things about Veronica that they don't want to see.
Pablo's mother is a dummy. Yes, Pablo needs the money but he doesn't need it from Mariana. If Mariana proposed giving Pablo the money in exchange for sex, would Pablo's mom be ok with that? Scratch that, I think she WOULD be ok with that.
Pablo, Ask Veronica for a job and call it a day.
Anon, "Virginia can't make them see things about Veronica that they don't want to see." I used to have a teacher who would say "You can wake someone who is fake sleeping." Seems the same. These characters seem all to willing to take everything they know about a person and throw it out the window and believe something that doesn't make any sense. Maybe that's why Jorge always looks so confused. Maybe it's the actor thinking "Huh? But this guys was supposed to love and KNOW this girl.... HUH?!"
My only thought as I whizzed by the death bed scenes? Well, a song came to mind: "Ding dong the goat is dead, the wicked goat, the wicked goat, Ding dong the wicked goat is deeeeeeaaaaad!"
Looking forward to reading!
Rebecca
Raymunda was worse with all her ugly bawling and "No! Not my father! The rock, the support of our family, the light of our lives! Waaaaaaaahhhhh!!" Seriously? Then to push Ana Perla down and attempt to slap her in a rage because of course, it's HER fault that the good, respectable sweet (NOT) old man is dead ... was ... just ... UGHHHH!
May he NOT rest in peace. I don't care if he did forgive AP at the end. He put her through hell (which his idiot heir Manuel will surely continue) and she did absolutely nothing that needed forgiveness. Too little too late, old fool and ha, ha ... you croaked before the padre gave you absolution ... nanny nanny nanny!
BOY!!! There was a lot of crying last night. I can't remember when I've seen so many tears. Was Grandpa Goat worth that much sorrow? I kept waiting for the crying to subside but it just kept going on--and on--and on. I don't think that there will be many tears shed over the Old Goat by the people in the pueblo though.
I guessed wrong---my guess from yesterday was that at some point Grandpa Goat would forgive Ana Perla and Pablo and during the big party at the novela's end we would see the Old Goat holding Ana Perla's baby (who by then would have been born) and showing all the people his new grandchild. --- Well it didn't turn out that way but he did seem to make peace with Ana Perla before he died last night.
Carvivlie---Yes, in Mexico you are guilty until you can prove that you are innocent.
You get 72 hours to prove yourself. With all the problems that we have here, our one big advantage is that you are considered innocent until you are proven guilty in a court of law. Sometimes however bail is set so high that it can't be reached but that's another story for another time.---In all of the novelas that I've seen, after the 72 hour period there usually a hearing at the police station in front of the police chief where you plead your innocence. Witnesses also speak and then the police chief can either let you go or send you to prison while you await trial. Last night was confusing because this step seemed to have been bypassed and Martin went straight to trial. If I have gotten any of this explanation wrong, please chime in.
It looks like Martin is in for a very rough time, for a while anyway.
Ok---So they have video of V-snake coming and leaving the hospital near the time of Matilde's death. Also she was seen by a nurse. That proves nothing. Remember Ginny told the nurse that she forgot something--her medicine?
I guess that we will get one last look at Grandpa Goat tonight at the funeral wake.
I know that the patio crowd is anxiously waiting for that.

"Too bad we don't have any lip sewing in this novela." (a wink at Reina de Corazones, in case you are wondering)
The screenshots and captions were hilarious: Your deadpan "From left to right..", "I'm here for the Magic Mike auditions" just to mention a couple.
Was that the first recorded "Die Emi Die"?
"Emi is able to blurt out an 'infeliz' as Marty is taken away."
"The worst 180 degree character change ever."
The further south the show travels, the funnier you get. Thanks so much, Mauricio, for this wonderful recap, and thanks for filing in today.
What a sad episode again for Martin and Vero. I didnt like Martin was sent to jail. Unhappy about that. I feel so sorry for him. Hopefully Vero can prove his innocence and he gets sets free.
Why the heck is the divorce Vero lawyer working on this case? Is the lawyer suppose to be different?
Not liking what the writers are doing with the San Telmos.
My plastic surgery is better than yours, and McGriddle's not on the all day breakfast menu were super great.
I also liked the worst 180 degree character change ever---and Judge Judy? LOL
So the hearing was in front of a judge and not the usual police captain. I guess that this is a more serious or important case.
Wow! You usually get 72 hours before you are sent to prison but not this time. The 72 hours will be spent in prison. Mexican justice or novela drama? I wonder.
Marty gets a beat down.

Pablo needs to man up and tell Mariana that he is married to Ana Perla. He let her insult AP as a mere pueblerina (whose family probably has more money than hers) but did not say "Hey don't talk about my WIFE like that!" Pablo needs to give Ana Perla her place.
I don't see how Julio can stay in town watching Ana Perla & Pablo be happy. After Manuel gets his anvil, Pablo & Ana Perla will likely live in Grumps' house with Grumps' money. Julio needs to leave.
Mauricio---Die Old Goat Die! Ok, you got your wish but you may have forgotten that the Old Goat will be back with us soon. In memory that is at the Dia de los Muertos.

Not looking forward to seeing Marty in jail. I have a bad feeling about this. I think the monkey writers want to make him suffer for wanting revenge on Dimi's death. Let's hope that he is not in jail for too long. If he is there until the last 2 or 3 episodes that will totally piss me off. Just sayin'.
I also have a bad feeling about Pablo accepting Mariana's offer. If he only has til the next day to go to NY, and he decides to go, then how is he going to tell AP. He won't be able to even go to the funeral if he has to leave town. And ITA, Pablo needs to tell Mariana that he is married with a child on the way.
I can't help but wonder if Claudia will help or hurt Martin while he is in jail.
Thanks again Mauricio.
Hasta Pronto
ITA about the SanTelmo's coming together. They finally both trust each other without question. Vero never doubted Marty, and he never doubted Vero. They totally supported each other too. The monkey writers got there part right, but Jorge and Emi need a slap in the face. They are idiots for once again believing all of Ginny's lies. I said it once and I'll say it again. Fool me once, shame to you. Fool me twice, shame on me! That was for Jorge and Emi, just in case they are reading this, and their brain cells can't decipher this.
Wow, justice was swift (and not necessarily just) last night.
I was surprised that Virginia received the news that Salma is her mom and wasn't even a bit curious about her true origin.
I'm inclined to think that Claudia is going to be a big help to Martín, I for one am glad she's back. Mariana... not so much.
Carlos
So many great lines, but the "lip sewing" comment was my favorite! Finally, someone is chanting "Die, Emi. Die." I can't say I was wishing that for him until last night, but it's been quite awhile since I've been able to stand him. I truly hope that Verónica gives those two idiots, Jorge and Emi, a really hard time before she forgives them...which she probably will.
I hate what's happening with Martín. I posted this thought late last night that I keep telling myself that now he knows what it feels like to be accused of something he didn't do, but it's not making me feel any better. I am not looking forward to him getting beat up in prison. I keep hoping he'll turn into his former Hernán Saldana in La Tempestad and kick some ass. He was one scary character in that TN.
Raymunda is hopeless, beyond comprehension. She does not deserve to be anyone's mother and the wife of such a great guy like Joaquin.
So on the same deathbed, OG makes Raymunda promise that she'll stop Blanquita from pursuing her dream, and then later says he's proud of the woman Ana Perla has become. Increíble!
I so wish somebody had heard Manny's diatribe about having killed OG. Would have been fantastic if it was OG himself, but the monkeys aren't smart enough for that one.
Recap. Thank you my dear.
I was all set to be pissed about the old goat,
Saying all those nasty things, selfish things to AP, AND then he went and grew a heart.
I'm glad he forgave her because she's got enough to deal with, with a crazy brother trying to kill her. And now her crazy aunt acting like her ex crazy daddy was going to
Hit AP. I really hope that jaoquin can shake some sense into his crazy wife because she's on the same path her crazy daddy was on.
Martin in prison. we all know what's going to happen there. he's going to get beaten up a lot like we saw in the advance, but he's also going to run into his father in law who is probably going to be the one to have him beaten up. Manny is a cold blooded heartless creatrue. So everything else will fall apart for some and fall to pieces for others, and fall into place.....maybe.
My jaw is still on the floor because AP stood up to GG even on his death bed. And his attitude flip left me flabbergasted. The coffin needs to be big enough for Raymundo because you know she's one of those drama queens that "throws herself into the grave too" types at the burial. I say good riddance!
There were certainly a lot of tears in last nights episode. Raymunda was the worst -- and I can't believe that she shook and then shoved a pregnant woman. But what can we expect when she allowed her father and nephew to lock her up in a cave.
That was interesting about the brujo who gave Manny the herbs. Now there is a witness who can claim that he knows that Manny killed his grandfather. Of course the brujo himself is in deep trouble as well for supplying the herbs.
Good point about Marty and Vero being together and trusting each other. I agree. I like how Vero has decided to head on off to Mina Escondida to do some investigating. I'm hoping that Marty's prison stay isn't a long one. We only have a few weeks left.
I can totally see Marty meeting up with Aaron while in prison. That will certainly be an interesting family reunion.
What will happen once Raymunda and Joaquin realize that Polo has run away? I hope they find him fast. We've already had a Polo running away storyline.
He was so annoying in this episode. He definitely needed a good slap.
Rebecca -- Well, a song came to mind: "Ding dong the goat is dead, the wicked goat, the wicked goat, Ding dong the wicked goat is deeeeeeaaaaad!"
Hahaha. The same song came to my mind as well. I even included it in the recap. :)
Anon207 -- "Manny was only crying because he didn't get Grumps to change that will back to his favor in time."
Good point. That does explain the tears that he shed.
Annd speaking about Manny, it would be interesting if he gave the eulogy. :)
It's too bad Polo didn't say that he wanted to go the moon to see if it was really made of cheese.
I agree with Joel's comment that the OG/Don Crescencio actor was excellent. Annoying, but excellent. I also give credit to Manuel for at least being consistent, compared to many of our characters who flip back and forth. He's evil and hateful, but stays in his groove.
Vero's white jumpsuit is getting on my nerves; also dislike Vsnake's vertical side stripe trousers. Please give us a wardrobe change.
