Lo Imperdonable #102 Wed 10/7/15 The Villains are Still Winning...

Lo Nuevo

  • Vero watches the surveillance video that Chucho brought to her. Dr. Dan is Ginny's accomplice. Vero also concludes that with the timetable on the video, and the time of Mati's death,  Ginny had enough time to go back to the hospital to kill Mati.

  • Ginny and Salma have a little chat in Ginny's bedroom. Salma wanted a better life for her daughter. Ginny doesn't care. She despises her mother and tells Salma that she hates her. Jorge is on her side now, and that's all she needs. Ginny throws Salma out, but Salma reminds her that she covered up the fact that Ginny caused Mati's death.
  • Vero tells herself (and the patio) that Ginny is behind the email to Cepeda, and responsible for Mati's death, but she needs concrete evidence. She will go to the hospital to investigate.
  • In jail Marty is questioned (by a doctor I think). He asks if Marty has any illnesses to which Marty responds None. The dude says, yeah up until now with a smirk on his face. No one leaves here the way they came in. He tells Marty to watch his back. Marty claims he does not belong there. The doctor says that's what everyone says.
  • Ginny thinks it's awesome that Salma is threatening her. NOT! Salma just wants to be heard. Ginny does not want to be reminded that Salma is her mother. Salma says she will defend Ginny the way Montse defended Mariana when she went over earlier. Ginny is intrigued that Mariana is back in town and kicks Salma out. Ginny needs time to plan her vengeance against Mariana.
  • Montse and Mariana talk about how Salma will always defend Ginny. Mariana will no longer let herself be manipulated by Ginny. She is about to get what she wants, Pablo.
  • At Maggie's house, AP does not want to call Pablo to tell him about OG. Maggie says she should. The Padre is there too, but is mute.
  • Back in D.F. Vero is still talking to herself. She will make Ginny pay. Even though she promised her aunt to hold on until Ginny was recovered, she is done waiting. The time is now. Besides, Ginny wasn't too weak to accuse Marty and Vero.
  • Marty is taken to his cell while his new neighbors taunt him. He looks terrified. Once inside a cell Marty is welcomed by someone trying to choke him with a cord. The cellmates start to cheer, and then we see that one of Marty's new roomies is none other than Aaron. Aaron says that Marty is his salvation and tells the other guy to let Marty go. Aaron says he will not hurt Marty because he is worth more alive. Aaron says that Vero would give her life to save Marty, but Marty warns Aaron to stay away from Vero. Aaron reminds Marty that he is a killer. Marty accuses him of being a sicko. Only a sick person would kidnap their daughter and her mother. Marty calls him a coward that preys on the weak. Aaron blames Vero and Maggie for being in jail, but Marty reminds Aaron that he is there to pay for his crimes and nothing else. Marty warns Aaron to stay away from Vero and Maggie. Aaron is not scared and sooner or later he will get even with all of the people that put him in jail, starting with Vero.
  • In Mina Escondida AP talks to Pablo over the phone and tells him that OG died. She defended their love when OG asked her to never see Pablo again. In the end OG forgave her.
  • Julio finds out from some town women that OG died and that AP is back in town, alone. He goes to look for her.
  • Pablo and AP talk about defending their love. Pablo has a surprise for her, but will wait until he sees her to tell her what it is.
  • At the Alvarez home, Manny proclaims that he is all that and a bag of chips. He will be the most powerful, respected and richest person in town. He does all of this alone, holding OG's old green stick. He looked like an idiot.
  • Marty can't sleep and paces back and forth in his jail cell. Aaron taunts him and Marty tells him to stop. Marty thought bubbles to himself that he hopes Vero can prove that someone stole their gold.
  • At the church the Padre finds his voice again while he councils AP on her loss. There is a knock at the door. It's Julio.
  • Back at Pablo's, Lucia tells him that he should tell AP about accepting Mariana's offer. He wants it to be a surprise. AP might misinterpret if he tells her over the phone. Lucia doesn't want anymore misunderstandings between AP and Pablo.
  • Julio wants to get even with Pablo. He asks AP to runaway with him and they can live like brother and sister until she can love him. AP can't. She is leaving the next day because Pablo is waiting for her. Julio would rather die than be without AP. AP wants Julio to find someone that will love him the way he deserves to be loved. She asks for his forgiveness and leaves the room. Julio stays behind to cry by himself.
  • Salma whines to Jorge that she created a monster in Ginny. Jorge is sorry and wishes that he could offer her support but he can't since they have grown so distant. Salma blames herself for the way Ginny turned out. Jorge tells her that life has a way of paying back all of your wrongdoings.  With all the bad that has happened, Jorge wonders if life is paying him back too.
  • Ginny gets a call from Dr. Dan. He wants to see her immediately. He has a new business proposal for her and warns that if she doesn't go, Vero will have the incriminating video in her hands the next day.
  • In Mina Escondida the funeral of Crecencio Alvarez takes place that evening. His casket is carried throughout the town. Women can be heard crying while loud horn music is played. Manny doesn't help carry his grandfathers casket; he chooses to carry a portrait of OG instead.
  • Pablo calls Mariana to accept her offer, but doesn't want any funny business because he loves AP (AND IS MARRIED TO HER AND SHE IS PREGNANT WITH HIS CHILD). She promises to be his friend but warns that they have to leave first thing tomorrow. No time to wait for AP.
  • A funeral mass is held for OG.
  • Vero and Maggie talk over the phone. Maggie wishes she could be with Vero to support her. Vero is desperate to prove that Marty is innocent. She will confide in her lawyer. Vero asks how AP is doing. Maggie says she is sad. Vero feels that AP and Pablo's love story is similar to hers and Marty's.
  • Marty is cold and asks the guard for a blanket. The guard says sorry this isn't a five star hotel buddy. Apparently Aaron is hiding Marty's pillow and blanket. Aaron tells Marty to go get his things from him; to not be afraid. It's not like he's hiding a weapon under his blanket. Marty decides to stay put and tells Aaron to go to hell. Aaron thought that Marty was more brave. He calls Marty a coward and a chicken.
  • The funeral mass continues. Each family member lays a single rose on the open casket. First Raymunda, Joaquin, and Blanquita, then Manny holds up the line by crying loudly and asking why? Why wasn't he taken instead of OG? (The patio asks the same thing). In front of everyone Manny yells out that OG died because of AP's indiscretions. He gets the congregation on his side as they start hollering inside the church. Joaquin tells Manny to behave himself. The Padre tells him to be quiet.  AP tells Manny that this is when they need to be united. Manny will never forgive AP. Manny riles up the crowd again about how AP killed their leader. He storms out of the church and the crowd of people follow him. Raymunda, Joaquin, Blanquita, the Padre and AP stay behind. Raymunda feels sick. She feels something is wrong with Polo. Ray, Joaquin and Blanquita leave. They find Polo's note when they get home.
  • Polo and Dorita are lost in the woods, but then they find the AP/Pablo love shack.
  • The family goes out to look for Polo.
  • Ginny meets Dr. Dan in a hotel room. The business deal he wants to partner with her is to open a retirement home. She agrees.
  • AP says goodbye to OG. She is leaving Mina Escondida forever. She will miss living there but will return one day.
  • The search is on for Polo.
  • Vero is at the hospital and runs into the nurse that saw Ginny on the day Mati died. The nurse asks for Ginny's health. She found it strange that the day Ginny was discharged she returned 2 hours later and was acting very nervous.
  • AP is praying alone in church in front of OG's casket. Unknowing to her, Manny slithers back in, takes his knife out, and is on the verge of attacking her.
END OF CAPITULO

Avances: Marty and AP are under attack. Vero meets with Aaron.

Good Morning Everyone,
The recap is up. Hope you enjoyed last night's episode. There was so much going on and so much back and forth from the city to Mina Escondida. Let me know what I missed.

I am getting tired of the bad guys. I know OG died already, but I want some other characters to start suffering. Does that make me a bad person?

I was frustrated because it seemed like nothing was done to help prove Marty's innocence in this episode. How do they expect him to get out of jail? Magic?

Very tired...Going to get some sleep.
Have a wonderful Day.

Hasta Pronto!

Excellent work, AuntyAnn! Thanks so much!

As I watched that funeral procession, I kept thinking it would make a wonderful opening scene for a film. The camera would focus on each of the mourners and then tell that person's story, revealing all the hypocrisy and evil hiding behind the show of grief.

So they DID put poor Marty in the same cell as Aarón! Yuck. I hate these prison scenes. (Monkey writers' motto: No cliché unexploited!)

Verónica is gathering evidence against Virginia, but it doesn't look like Marty's defense team is getting very far. Once the Morenita gold is melted down and recast in La Perla molds, it will be even harder to prove the switcheroo – unless someone gets Manny to confess in front of witnesses. Maybe that's a job for Claudia!

Mariana, Mariana, you should have stayed in Paris! Will you get to New York before Virginia gets to you? And will Pablo go with her?

Will Ana Perla escape with her life?

So much drama, so little time!

Thank You Thank You Aunty Ann. Great work. So HOW MANY DAYS is Marianna going to wear those plastic/Pleather/leather pants.? Those don't breathe well, got to be getting a bit rank by now. YUK

Is Die Raymunda Die going to have an epiphany with Polo and Onix missing? I wonder if that evil selfish woman is salvageable. She is not much better than Manual.

People are deluding themselves about OG with God. My money says he is ready to trade all his gold for a glass of Ice Water about now! :-)

Thanks for a great summary, Aunty Ann. The funeral procession created some strong images. I liked seeing OG's hat and green stick placed on the casket. Very rude of Manuel to cut in front of AP in the "crying on the casket" line. Much worse than rude to incite the crowd in blaming AP for OG's death, especially since Manny was the actual cause of death.

With Manny leading the crowd out of the church, I had flashbacks to "Animal House" and the scene where the frat brothers march out of the trial hearing on campus.

Marty, Aaron, and the prison scene--predictable.

Still need wardrobe refresh for most of the women. AP looked great in black.

Great recap!

Every time Vero was shown standing around talking to herself, I thought time is ticking to save hubby. Wasn't she supposed to be going straight to ME to sort out the gold situation? Maybe we missed a scene of her talking to Botel, who is on it. Joaquin is too busy looking for Polo to help.

Wow Manny, just wow. I feel like him trying to kill AP is less about the money and more about him just being a complete psycho.

Wonder where Nanci is keeping herself?

Thanks AuntyAnn for the recap.

I must admit I fast forwarded Martin's jail scenes. They were too sad to watch. I hope he gets out soon.

Thanks Aunty Ann. I love bullet point recaps. And I'm sure you didn't miss a thing. We're wallowing in the worst right now. Hope we get an uptick soon. The sadists are running amuck at the moment.

Thanks for the great recap, AuntyAnn. Well done.

Sure not looking good for Ana Perla. My fear is that since Pablo is not in town (and worse, about to head out for NY) the most likely candidate to save her is the crazy Julio. What could possibly go wrong?

The funeral procession was brilliantly filmed. Almost perfection.

NovelaMaven,

"I hate these prison scenes."

Me too... unless the Televisa rats are involved... then bring it on.

Carlos

Thank you, AuntyAnn, for a great recap of these crazy events. I don't think you missed anything, and if you did, I missed it too!

I'm with you, Duchess, re: Martín prison scenes. I didn't fast forward, but I can't stand what's happening to him.

As for Manny, can he possibly get any worse? I agree, Carlos, that Julio will probably be on the scene to rescue AP. Pablo is definitely in monkey-land going off to New York for anything to do with Mariana.

The funeral scene was well done, but the crying and moaning was really intense so a bit hilarious to me.

As for all those supposed Christian churchgoers running out of the church after Manny, I have no words except OMG.

I hope Vero comes up with something good to threaten Aaron. After all, she is his daughter, and we've seen a really feisty Vero.

The problem with Pablo (besides telling Mariana to go away and NOT telling Mariana that he's married*) is that his MOM is telling him to take the job with Mariana. She's not concerned about Pablo/Ana Perla marriage at all, she's concerned about eating.

*Pablo is an idiot for not telling Mariana RIGHT AWAY that he's married to Ana Perla now. This is the main reason why I have a problem with "nice people;" they are too concerned with being "nice," not being the bad guy and not hurting other people's feelings than doing the right thing.

Thanks Aunty Ann---A great, concise bullet point recap for someone that got a late start today. You didn't miss a beat. That's why you are on the A team.

More weeping and wailing last night. Maybe I'm full of bad thoughts but in the midst
of the crying and wailing, my mind flashed back to the old days when people were hired to weep and wail at funerals. I was quite surprised at the number of people that were participating in the funeral procession. I thought that the towns people didn't like Crecencio.

Mariana is obsessed---NovelaMaven---Are the monkey writers going to use the old get him drunk and hop in bead with him cliché?

NM---So much drama, so little time. Yes, there's still a lot left isn't there.

LOL Goat Hater---Is gold for water a fair trade?

I wonder who will save Ana Perla from the knife?

As much as I don't want to---I must say that for someone that wanted the Old Goat dead and hastened along his demise, Manny sure put on a good show last night.

They need to find the gold tonight before the smelter fires are lit. Get on it Botel

We're not done with Grandpa Goat. The Old Goat will be back in Dia De Los Muertos.

must see tv

Carlos---I had forgotten about the Televisa rat. The prison scene last night would have been a great time to bring him back.

Afternoon Everyone!
Hope your day is going good. I am at work again and just got through the comments which are great as always.

NovelaMaven,
Thanks. I agree about what you said regarding OG's funeral scene. That would make a great movie opening. It was a sad scene, but I found that I could not shed a tear for the Old Goat.

Goat_Hater,
LOL about the plastic pants on Mariana. It was a few weeks ago that she wore those famous gold pants. Is it a new fashion in Paris?

La Paloma,
You are welcome. The funeral procession did have some strong images. I noticed that when they were walking to the church AP didn't seem to be crying. The "Animal House" reference took be back and ITA.

Carvivlie,
I know how you feel. I kept thinking that no one was doing a thing to help Marty. Plus at the end of the epi Vero was at the hospital investigating Mati's death. I know this will sound bad, but Mati's is gone. You can't bring her back. I know her murder needs to be solved, but Marty is IN JAIL WITH AARON! He is alive right now and needs your help in the present. Rant over.

Duchess,
I admit that I would have muted or FF through the Marty jail scenes too, but I couldn't since I was recapping the episode. I had to sacrifice one for the team.

JudyB,
Glad you liked the bullet points. I too hope that something good happens soon. Too much evil Manny right now.

Carlos,
Thanks for the compliment. AP is not my favorite. but I don't want her to die. I hope that Manny doesn't get away with hurting her. And you are right. If anyone will save her, it will be Julio.

Mari,
You are welcome. I did not like the avances of Vero going to see Aaron. I hope that she is smarter than daddy dearest and comes up with a plan to bring him down.

Anon207,
ITA that Pablo is a fool for not telling Mariana that he is married. And his mom is no help either. She needs to insist to Pablo that he be honest with Mariana. I thought it was hilarious what you said about Lucia only being concerned about eating. LOL!!!

Gringo,
Thanks! I too was surprised at the number of people at the funeral. Those were the same people that were talking bad behind OG's back. What hypocrites! I would not like to live in a town with those kind of people. I'd rather live in the jungle with Nanciyaga's people. At least they are peaceful.

Hasta Pronto!

Vero has said she knows that Virginia is behind all of this. I believe what she's trying to do is nail Virginia to prove to those fools, Jorge and Emi, that she is the evil snake we all know she is. Also, Vero knows Botel is on the case of the gold so I was just thinking she's working it from the other end, i.e. V-snake.

Thank you AuntyAnn. What a fantastic recap of last nights events.

It certainly was a nice touch that OG's sombrero was put on top of the casket. I had a chuckle when I saw that on there. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we won't have to deal with witnessing the burial. If anyone deserved to have his ashes dumped by a tree it was OG and not poor Alfredo who deserved a proper wake and burial.

Manny's tears last night were exactly that - fake. Can't believe that anyone bought it. Virginia did the "fake tears" act better at Mati's wake. Perhaps Manny should take some lessons from her.

And speaking about Manny, I can't believe he was able to start a riot right then and there at the funeral. Say what? I was under the impression that the whole town hated him. Have they all forgotten how he terrorized the entire town? I smell the monkey writers.

The galan in prison scenes ARE always hard to watch. Poor Marty. I do hope that he gets out soon. Come on Botel, Joaquin, & Lorenzo -- hurry up with the proof that he needs.

What a great cliffhanger. I can't wait until tonight. Of course AP will saved (they can't kill her off, right?) so it'll be interesting to see who saves her.

AuntyAnn

"I am getting tired of the bad guys. I know OG died already, but I want some other characters to start suffering. Does that make me a bad person?"

No, it doesn't. I want the same. It's time for the bad guys to start getting anvils.

NovelaMaven

"As I watched that funeral procession, I kept thinking it would make a wonderful opening scene for a film. The camera would focus on each of the mourners and then tell that person's story, revealing all the hypocrisy and evil hiding behind the show of grief."

I agree. It would make a wonderful opening scene for a film.

"Mariana, Mariana, you should have stayed in Paris! Will you get to New York before Virginia gets to you?"

I agree. She should stayed there. Oh well .. let's see what Virginia does.

Ireri and Uspin did it right by leaving town. They are much safer wherever they are. They wouldn't have to deal with Manny the Psycho like the rest of the town.

Carvivlie

"Wonder where Nanci is keeping herself?"

I'm wondering the same thing. Maybe she's not done with her soul cleansing yet?

Mauricio,

"I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we won't have to deal with witnessing the burial. If anyone deserved to have his ashes dumped by a tree it was OG and not poor Alfredo who deserved a proper wake and burial."

Your words are so true. I hope we have seen the last of OG's funeral. Hopefully they will concentrate on AP's presumed attack and the search for Polo.

I think Botel and Lorenzo are the only ones looking for evidence to clear Marty. Joaquin is busy looking for Polo. I think the key is to find the missing molding. Hopefully they find it at La Perla's offices. The bad is if Manny has it at his house because then they would need a search warrant. I doubt that will happen because Manny owns the cops in that town. I just want Marty out of jail before Aaron has time to hurt him.

Mari,
I agree that Vero is trying to get evidence against Ginny. I guess she's doing that while she's in town. If I remember correctly she has a bag packed to go to Mina Escondida in the morning. In order to get Marty out of jail they need to find evidence against Manny. Up until now Ginny has no involvement in the gold stealing business. But since she did mention knowing Manny and wanting to go to Mina Escondida to negotiate buying gold from Manny to Jorge the other day I fear that Ginny will help Manny hide any damning evidence against him just to keep Marty in jail and to make Vero suffer.

AuntyAnn - I too am afraid of Ginny and Manny joining forces. Vero believes that Ginny is behind the Cepeda email so I think Vero thinks Ginny's aware of how the gold got stolen, even though that's one thing she's not a part of yet.

How long before Virginia starts wondering who her daddy is? Given that monkeys love symmetry and economy almost as much as they love bananas, there's only one candidate. As Carlos has been suggesting for some time, that's likely to be disgusting Aarón.

Mauricio,

"Ireri and Uspin did it right by leaving town. They are much safer wherever they are."

Oh yes, even Medel is better off. In fact, even the dead people are better off – well, the virtuous ones anyway.

AuntyAnn, good recap, all the usual suspects.
No mauricio, that does not make you a bad person. The person I want most to suffer is
Manny. He's cold blooded and heartless. That bastard stood there and watched his grandfather suffer and die. Even the old goat
Didn't deserve that. I would have rather seen
Him proven wrong abour AP and pablo than
Die like that, and now hes going to stab his
Sister while she prays in a church. Yes he
Should suffer before he die. Prople like him
Often do. Some of these people are just plain mean.
I hope jorge remembers what he said when
He starts to pay for his wrong doing. He truns way to easy against people at the word
Of known liars.
And the typical prison seen, marty and aaron
Sittin in a cell waitin to see whose going to
kill who first. I'll be glad when that part is over, its not that interesting.

Thank you for the recap AuntyAnn. I like the bullet points it makes me feel I have every detail necessary.

I'm trying to recall if Marty grew up rich or not? I'm asking because typically in TelenovelaLand, Galanes who are born poor but gain their wealth later in life know how to fight/and or defend themselves especially against hoodlums and bullies in jail. I recall the first attack came from behind so obviously he would have not been ready for it. I think he should go by the rule of knocking out the biggest thug in there (presumably Aaron) so he can at least gain SOME respect/fear ala "Reina del Sur" and can be left alone until Vero gets him out. I know Emi messed him up when they had their fight, but Marty gave as good as he got.

I feel Vero's scenes are to chew the scenery right now. Besides that info from the nurse and seeing her comings and goings on video, there isn't anything too damning out there on Ginny or at least nothing yet that Vero can present to Emi and Jorge as concrete evidence. We need that picture Virgencita!

I think AP will lose it not only if Pablo goes to NYC with Mariana but learning that all this time he has FAILED to mention their marriage or baby on the way. It will look like he's hiding it y eso no esta bueno...

Nina,
Thanks for your comment today. I agree that Manny should suffer. It will probably pale in comparison to what he has done, but at least he will be gone. Either in jail or dead. I am ready for the jail scenes to be over too. I hate those scenes, unless it is of a villain that deserves to be there.

JackieV,
Thanks for the compliment and thanks for stopping by today.
Good point about whether or not Marty would know how to fight. I think he does know how to fight because he has gotten himself into a few fist fights. As far as growing up rich or poor. I don't think he was rich. If he and his family had been then Ginny would have married Dimi right off the bat (and probably taken their money by now). Plus I remember Marty talking about how his mother raised them all by herself. It kind of sounds like they may have had some hardships. I remember Marty said he always knew he wanted to build stuff and that's why he has the constructora. The company was successful because at the start of the novella I remember he was just joining the club where he met Vero. If he had come from a rich family he most likely would have been a member already. Hope this answers your question.

NovelaMaven,
The thought of Aaron fathering another child is gross. But if it is true then Ginny would be a perfect fit.

Hasta Pronto

JackieV and AuntyAnn

Marty didn't come from a rich family. He definitely faced a lot of hardships. After his mother died he had to work hard to raise and provide for Demetrio. It took a lot of work for him to have the successful construction company that he now has. In fact, he worked so hard that he forgot to live his teenage and early adult years and that's one of the reasons that Claudia dumped him.

*** and that's one of the reasons why Claudia dumped him.

Mauricio,
Thanks for that added info about Marty. I remembered some things, but had forgotten about how he had to help raise his brother Dimi and that Claudia dumped him because he was too busy working. I like that his character was not a "nino rico" like Emi.

Thanks Aunty Ann and Mauricio for that info on Martin. I know understand his background more. Claudia sure must be regretting dumping Martin lol. He is a perfect fit for Vero. Can't wait for him to come out of jail!!!
