Lo Imperdonable #113 Thu 10/22/15
I had a late start to the recap. I hope you guys don't mind the bullet points. Let me know what I missed. Enjoy!
·
Emi
and Claudia talk in the streets of Mina Escondida. Emi wants an opportunity
with Claudia. They kiss.
·
Julio
buys AP’s baby a gift.
·
Mariana
goes to the city market to show AP the fake wedding certificate and pictures of
her wedding with Pablo. AP says she doesn’t care, she can have him.
·
The
banker guy visits Jorge and tells him what happened with the large check that
was cashed. Jorge says he does not know the guy that had the check and asks to
see the bank surveillance video. It will take some time.
·
Julio
gets “injured” by some of the thorns on AP’s roses. AP takes off Julio’s shirt
to heal his wounds. Mariana takes the opportunity and snaps some pictures of AP
touching Julio’s bare chest.
·
Art
tells Blanquita that his checkered past was in robbery. She is very upset.
·
Jorge
is visited by Mr. Rodriguez (the guy that sold him the mine). He gives him
another check. Ginny walks in the office and hears them talking about the
stolen check. Mr. Rodriguez leaves and Jorge says only Rita (the assistant) and
Ginny had access to the checkbook. He calls Rita to the office.
·
Art
warns Chelas to leave Blanquita alone. We know there is more to Art’s past.
·
Rita
and Ginny are in Jorge’s office. Ginny defends herself and plays the Vero card.
She tells Jorge he can’t doubt a family member again the way he did with Vero.
He feels guilty and fires Rita.
·
Chelas
blackmails Art about his past and warns him that he will tell Blanquita the
whole truth.
·
AP
finishes curing Julio’s scraps and cuts. He gives her the gift for the baby.
·
Pablo
sees the pictures that Mariana took of AP and Julio.
·
Jorge
talks to Marty over the phone about buying Mina Perdida. He tells him about
Botel getting shot and now being an invalid.
·
Ginny
talks to Manny. Ginny has an idea to get back at Marty, Emi and Jorge.
·
Maggie
talks with Botel (while he sleeps). She doesn’t know how she will go on because
she is very sad and confused. But she knows she has to be strong for him.
·
A
woman is asleep while Dr. Dan watches over her. He says it’s a shame she didn’t
die in the accident. She turns around. It’s Vero! She’s alive!
·
Marty
blames himself for what has happened to Botel. Rebeca tries to calm him down.
·
Vero
starts asking questions. What accident? Who are you? She has amnesia. But Dr.
Dan tells her that her name is Victoria and that she’s a drug addict. She is
there for rehab. He calls himself Dr. Dante Jimenez and he thought bubbles that
since Vero has amnesia it is the perfect opportunity to get rid of Vero
forever.

Marty
thanks Rebeca for her words of support. She tells him that if and when he is
ready to open his heart to love again she will be there waiting for him.
·
Aaron
hides the money in the room at the vecindad. Chelas knows he hid something but
doesn’t know it was money.
·
Blanquita
does not want to talk to Art. He cries and she forgives him. He tells her there
is more to his past.
·
Marty
feels torn inside. He has nothing to offer. He will love Vero everyday for the
rest of his life because for him she is still alive. Rebeca tells him if he
doesn’t want to be alone she can offer him her friendship.
·
Art
tells Blanquita what Chelas did to him as a child, but the patio is not told.
Art says he took away his childhood and innocence. He is worried that Chelas
will hurt Blanquita.
·
Vero
does not remember anything. Dr. Dan gives her some pills and she falls asleep.
He calls Ginny and tells her about Vero’s amnesia. There is a flashback to the
night of the accident. They find her at the bottom of a small embankment. Ginny
wanted to kill her at the scene of the accident at first, but then they decide
to take her in case someone was watching or following them. They take off with
her body as the sirens are heard in the distance. Back to the present Dr. Dan
tells her to get to his house because they need to talk. Ginny flashes back to
them taking off in the car with Vero at the accident scene.
·
Blanquita,
AP, Julio and Art talk about Vero’s death. Blanquita cries. AP asks Art for a
room for Julio. Art offers to share his room. They want to visit Marty.
·
Marty
walks Rebeca to the hotel. He was headed that way because he needs to speak
with Claudia. She is happy that he has accepted her friendship.
·
Pablo
goes to see AP. He thinks Julio is staying with AP. Pablo finds out about the
false marriage license and pictures.
·
Marty
and Rebeca arrive at the hotel. He has been thinking and has a lot of questions
about the night of Vero’s accident. Where was she going and who was she
meeting? He knows it had to do with Mati’s murder. He has a bad feeling that
Ginny is behind the whole thing.
·
Dr.
Dan tells Ginny that Vero is sedated. He wants to drug her into thinking she is
someone else so that she will never regain her memory, and that way they can
use her as they wish. Ginny thinks she can use her to get Aaron off her back.
·
Pablo
tells AP in front of a statue of la
Virgen that he has only married her. She is the only one he loves. She tells
him that she loves him too because she can not lie. Mariana and Manny are separating
them. Pablo tells her she is not willing to fight for their love. She asks him
to fight, but she won’t do the same. He is not going to beg or humiliate
himself anymore. He storms off.
·
Claudia
and Emi have dinner. She admits she was confused about Marty, probably because
he was her first love. She realized that she needed to let go of the past
(Marty) in order to find love again. She wants a stable relationship. Emi does
not want to lie, he needs to figure out his feelings and emotions. He can’t
promise anything, but they have nothing to lose if they try to have a
relationship.
·
Pablo
tells his mother he is going to get back at Mariana for everything she has
done. She warns him to be careful before he does something he may regret. Lucia
confesses that she feels something for Jorge, and she thinks he feels the same.
·
Jorge
and Ginny are at home, but leaving for Mina Escondida when Salma shows up with
Nicolas. Ginny puts her down, but Nic defends her saying that nothing has
happened between them. Nicolas leaves. Jorge doesn’t have time to talk, but he
tells Salma not to worry, she can stay in the house. And not to worry about
Vero because she’s already dead. Cara de impactada de Salma.
·
Dr.
Dan tells Vero that her name is Victoria Castaneda. She asks for her family. He
tells her that all her family died in an accident. She is all alone and that emptiness
she felt at losing her family drove her to drugs. The only person she has is a
good Samaritan named Virginia that visits her every once in a while. Virginia
found her in the streets in a drugged-induced state. He shows her a picture of
Ginny. Vero can’t believe everything the doctor has said and is embarrassed.
She wants to talk to Ginny. He tells her he will start to give her injections
so that she can recover her memory. He gives her an injection.
Avances: Marty, Jorge and Emi are in danger. Vero escapes.

This episode was so frustrating. There were many moments when I wanted to scream.
Jorge continues to be brainless. He's still allowing himself to be fooled by Virginia. Doesn't he remember that she was just asking him about who gets Veronica's share of the PC inheritance? Poor Rita. Taking the blame for something she did not do.

Mariana snapping the pics of Ana Perla touching Julio's bare chest when she was curing him made me want to scream too. Fortunately, this was solved too. And good for Pablo for calling her out on not being woman enough to fight for their love.
I can't believe that we are being given an amnesia storyline so late in the game. And the worse part is that Daniel and Virginia have Veronica in their hands.

They were vague about it but I think that what Arturo told Blanquita is that Chelas had abused him when he was a child. Really awful and it makes you want Chelas to suffer a terrible fate. Chelas does have to go. The writers better not let anything bad happen to Blanquita.

I don't understand why Daniel gave Veronica a fake name to hide his identity yet he gave her Virginia's real name. What's his game? He's basically worse than Virginia now. He's calling all the shots and plotting everything now.
I felt bad for Rita. Virginia always weasels her way out of things so people don't her suspicious of her.

Good point TF. It makes no sense that Daniel would give Veronica, Virginia's real name, while inventing a new one for himself.
And speaking about the name he invented for himself, he sure isn't very clever at it, he said his name was Dante Jimenez which sounds so much like his own name, Daniel Fernandez.

I forgot to mention that I was glad that we got a chance to see what happened the night of the accident and how Daniel and Virginia took Veronica with them. So Virginia always did know that Veronica was alive and not really dead. Now we know how Virginia got the mud on her boots.

I kept hoping to see some evidence that Vero was faking her amnesia bec I just couldn't believe the writers would do this to us so late! Ugh.

I don't think that anyone will die in the mine blast---remember that the happy ending is just around the corner.

Since we are almost at the finish line I do think she's faking the amnesia. A similar plot line happened in Sortilegio but MJ did lose her memory from the drugs she was given but it eventually wore off and she regained her memory like a couple episodes before the finale.

What doesnt make sense is, has Vero been in a coma for days? Because Daniel seemed surprised that Vero has lost her memory and also Vero was suprised to wake up and see him.

Mauricio, I had the same impression as you about Arturo's past. Only some kind of abuse would make Arturo that ashamed (though, of course, it is the abuser who should be ashamed).
Claudia and Emi? Not a lot of spark there, is there? I was looking for Nanciyaga to appear and let loose with one of her home truths.
I guess Salma's reappearance means some sort of final reckoning between mother and daughter. Salma betrays Virginia? Virginia murders Salma?
Rebeca? No longer interesting. Vero is alive, Marty is indifferent and Rebeca is just embarrassing herself.

She sure looked and sounded a lot like her mom in that moment. I wish the monkeys hadn't made her seem so rigid and judgmental. She did pull back and reconsider later, and was appropriately supportive after Arturo came clean with her, but she has a lot of Goat in her! :-)
Poor Botel. I'm still hoping for a Mejía miracle for him. I mean the medical stuff never makes sense, right? So can't we have an improbably happy outcome for him? Where's that psychiatrist/cardiologist? I bet he's an ace neurosurgeon too!

To my knowledge, an anvil is technically a blacksmith kind of tool made of iron used to hammer, but in the context of the way it's used here, I believe it means something like a fatal blow, in other words, la muerte.

Just watched the end of the episode again, and from the look in Verónica's eye after she saw the pic of Virginia on Dr. Truly Dumb's phone, I think she recognized her and her memory is perhaps registering trouble. Another one of "I hope it happens" theories. I just want to see more of the Verónica who's a force to be reckoned with and was able to threaten very convincingly citing her bloodline to the lovely (not) Aarón. The combination of fierce warrior Vero and a man who easily murders as his MO ought to make Ginny shake a bit...or mucho.

Duchess - I too can't wait for Vero and Martin's reunion. My Anvil is going to Virginia, because she is really out to see Vero, Marty, and Jorge gone, but I want it to be slow. I want to see her life disintegrating all around her for a bit because Grettell Váldez is I think a great TN actress and it could be really good.

I still can't stand Rebeca and I hate the amnesia storyline. It's too late to have that added in. With only 7 episodes left those monkey writers have a lot to cover and get resolved. Instead of amnesia they could have just had Vero kidnapped. Now we're going to waist time trying to get Vero's memory back. At least on Sortilegio they had a little more time. We only have 7 episodes. Thanks monkey writers.

Jorge's problem is he disregards his gut instinct due to other emotions.
He disregarded his gut feelings about Veronica being innocent because he was angry Veronica went back to Martin instead of Emiliano,
He disregard ped his gut feelings about Virginia because he feels guilty about not trusting Veronica.
Both Veronica and Salma (Virginia's staunchest defender) have warned Jorge about Virginia.
The problems at Prado Castelo didn't start until Virginia started working there.
Virginia's been asking about Veronica's money.
Veronica needs to be out of he picture long enough for things to fall apart to the point where she can't be blamed for it.

I wanted to send thoughts and prayers to the people in Mexico that are being hit by Hurricane Patricia. It is at a Category 5. It can have winds at more than 200mph. They will need aid in the coming days and months.

I'm kind of bored with ginny and the doctor I just wish they'd go ahead and get their anvils and get it over with already.
