Yo No Creo En Los Hombres 71 Tue 10/20/15: ♫Take The Last Bus to Loserville ♪They'll Be Waiting At The Station♫
Recap Parte 1~~
While Josefa is giving the goods on Maria Dolores to Ursula, Isela listens to Claudio and Alma grieve over Max’s ill-fated love affair with “that woman” and Leo races off to be with Clara in her subsequent time of need. Ise says she’s going back with Leo due to a call from Honoria which left her a bit puzzled and curious.
In the barrio, MarDi and family have decided that Esperanza and Clara will move to Doris’ house while she and MD head off to Monterrey. However, the best news is that Doris has found her nanny and the gal lives in a small town not to far from the DF and that’s where the two of them’ll be going. What’s more, they’ll all get to see each other often now instead of hardly ever. Yippee!! –Wait, even better, Viewerville learns that Orlando plans to join the two of them since Julian and MD are NOT getting hitched after all. Whewwww! What a relief!
Honoria, tho’, is desperate to have MD take Juli with her since she’s just learned that the Fermin The Relapsed Vermin, told Ho-se that the gang who robbed and murdered Rodolfo are planning venganza against him for reporting them into the police. Not just her or that drunk-as-a-skunk padre of his, but the whole neighborhood has seen those two hoods running around loose discussing it! “Take him with you, please!”
Daniel, Arango and Urrrrsi are discussing new options. DannyBoy says he’s not about to let MD escape from him, let alone with his kid! “—Well, we’ll just aid her escape. If she wants to disappear, then we’ll make her disappear…..” Urrrsi smiles at the way her cubs are learning.
Doris calls MD to tell her she and Orly are joining her on the way down to Wherever-ville and once she gets back to the DF she will give them the address there for them to join MD.
Espy, meanwhile, agrees with MD that even if she puts DannyBoy in jail for rape he’d avoid [zafar] any punishment and be out in a DF minute anyway. It’s Dios’s choice that she leaves town now, since it’s not only for Jr. she’s leaving, but to help poor Julian avoid a tragedy as well. They must repay his kindnesses this way.
Across the balcony, Ise bangs on Honoria’s door asking what she meant about her mother and her “real father”. Ho-se reappears at that instant and the truth takes a powder ahhhh-gain. Ho-se threatens Honoria with letting the gang know where Fermin is if she ever opens her mouth to Ise about anything.
Clara and Leo head off and Clara tells him that her sister will never return to Max. The truth about why, tho’, she can’t and won’t tell him. (No news there.) What grain of truth there is, is that the two of them are moving to Doris’s apartment when MD moves to Monterrey to avoid DannyBoy’s wrath when he learns she’s marrying Julian since he still owns the deed to their home.
Ise and Ho-se argue about expanding Mama’s vengeance to undeserving people in the barrio like Maria Dolores.
Across the way, MarDi tells Julian they’ll go off to Loserville together and that she’ll marry him once they arrive. He gives her his measly engagement ring. She wants to race off and just let Orly handle his stuff, but he wants to call Adrian and explain things and also have him carry their bags in a taxi. Juli obviously doesn’t believe he’s in that much danger – he pshaws. (Viewerville slaps its head in consternation, totally flabbergasted with this dufus and the new weight around MD’s neck.)
Ise comes back and says Mama was upset at all the blow back from the neighborhood for opening her big mouth. Alma huffs and puffs. “–Well, what did they all want? For her to keep cheating on my son?”
As for Max, he can’t get his and MD’s last encounter out of his mind. He tells this to a sympathetic Leo who in turn persuades him to run after MD. She’s on the bus to Monterrey tonight according to Clara. I could be wrong, but there’s something going on here; if that child was really Julian’s they’d be going off together and they’re not. So, Big Bro- Go for it!
That night, Jacinto and Daniel are spying on MarDi and her family as she tells them good-bye and heads off to the bus station “alone!!” They follow her cab there.
Back inside, Espy tells Clara she lied to MarDi to get her out of there worry-free. They’re not going anywhere. They are not moving over to Doris’s apartment. If they want a fight, she’ll give it to them. Her whole life is wrapped up in this place and she’s not giving up or giving in!
Parte 2~~
Meanwhile, Dan and Jacinto are hot on MD’s taxi’s trail of exhaust. They argue over who’s plan is better and who should try going after her. Jacinto loses patience and gripes that Dan’s way they’ll have to get her permission to kidnap her. Dan screams back: what do you want me to do, anyway? Crash into her and have her lose my kid? No way!”
Espy calls Doris and we learn Orly is sick with the flu or something and is slowing things down. Espy explains she and Clara aren’t coming, but she’s not to tell MD this. Doris says fine.
At the hospital, Juli says he’s not going anywhere, leastwise with MarDi. He figured out by her answer to his proposal and their expectant looks that this was all a sham to hide him from the criminals who killed her daddy. Honoria admits it, at least. Adrian promises to take Juli straight to the police and report the gang and their whereabouts. Juli refuses Jenny and Honoria’s begging him to leave town for a good while. He won’t abandon the two of them to be harassed by the gang members.
We get a scene where Doris nurses Orly who’s lying in her bed, sweating like a pig, and wishing he could die.
Maria Dolores arrives at the bus station and goes to buy her ticket. Dan and Jacinto arrive behind her. Just then, Max grabs her by the arm and turns to around to face him. The two slime buckets slink away into the shadows to observe and rethink their plans.
Max begs MD to talk to him. “—I’m not letting you go.” She tells him to leave so that Julian shouldn’t see him there. “--Oh? So where is he? Huh? Where is Julian already? Don’t lie to me!” She raises her left hand with Juli’s engagement ring on it. He deflates. Another emotional blow to the gut. “We’re leaving here. We’re going far away, far away from here, from all that’s happened and ….far from …Daniel. Max, please. Just go. (Sr. Legal Eagle has got to be considering this now as a her supposed best means of escaping DB’s reach, the long arm of the lawless—or so Viewerville hopes!) Forgive me, Max.” He walks out the station’s exit and she follows him to the curb. Daniel and Jacinto are skulking next to the car with their backs to her. The taxi honks and its driver yells at them to move it! They’re in his parking spot! MD looks up and realizes it’s them!
MarDi races back inside and through the ceiling high gates. She just makes it and manages to get to the ladies room and hide. Dan sneaks through and tries to enter the restroom but a lady cop stops him just in time.
MD stops to call Juli and ask when he’s getting there. He tells her he’s decided not to come. She treated him like a child needing her protection, and the game is up. He was happy for a couple of minutes thinking she actually was going to marry him, but he doesn’t want it like this. He’s decided to stay. She begs him not to leave her alone like this. He reminds her she has Orly and Doris looking out for her and since he’s forewarned he’s fore-armed. He’ll be fine and so will she. (But, does MD try explaining that Dan and Jacinto have followed her to the bus station and she’s in peril? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Again, Viewerville slaps its forehead in utter frustration.)
Some traveler with a maroon wig is combing her hair in the restroom and notices MD. She has overheard her conversation and sees her desperate tears.

"Fermin The Relapsed Vermin"
Thank you Julian for coming to your senses, I don't want to dislike you. He shows courage willing to fight these thugs and his life is on the line.
Finally some more courage. Espy draws a line and willing to fight Dan so that scumbag won't rule her life and take away her home. Wished her daughter had that in her, now she is a scared rabbit on the run.
Telling the truth takes real courage and the lie the cowards solution.
I didn't like the look on Ivana's face when she hear from Ivana MD was with child, though the father ostensibly Julians.
Doris wanting to rub Orlando's butt was so cute.
I only want to know why Max was at the apartment complex, perhaps to check on MD's story of marrying Julian?
I'm not sure Julian will have a chance to tell Max the truth Vivi, because the very last scene was Max getting knifed in the gut, so he will most likely be in the hospital unconscious.
I loved Doris being all turned on by a wet Orlando. She just couldn't keep her hands off of him, lol.
Icing on it. Yum!!!
There are so many other ways this could go
But this I suppose is for affect. Well I don't. not like this affect.
I can just see what's coming next. MD lends Corina her jacket on the bus. She gets a call from Clarita about Max. MD gets off at the first stop with Corina and the jerks grab the wrong girl. That has to be the only reason why the writers had Corina mention she wasn't warm enough.
Poor Max, he keeps trying to get the truth out of MD and she just won't "suelta la sopa."
I never expected Max to show up, not at the bus station, nor in the vecindad. Agree, he was probably checking up on MD's statement that Julian would be there any minute and showing her ring to him. Of course at that moment, MD didn't know Julian *wasn't* coming with her.
Max can't die, even though he looked as though he got a fatal gut-wrencher.
Need surgery to stop the bleeding. And hon
Too If they don't stop slicing and dicing.
Where the hell is somebody to help? Where is
The popolice? I hope julian has a gun. Where
Is ho-sefa ? She should be good for doing something besides causin trouble. Danny
Should have been there to be sliced & diced.
Dannyboy & jacinto look like the 3 stooges
Minus 1. their stupid all by themselves.
I'm worried about the possibility that Corina or Dorina is an accomplice of Danny-Boy and JackAssinto. Or a hooker looking to recruit MD.
Is there a message in the Doris and Orlando story that there is no romance in real love?
I'm wondering whether Scuzzy Santibanez is looking for MD to succumb to Stockholm Syndrome.
I believe the falling in love depicted between Doris and Orlando is romantic.
Orlando has cooked for Doris-- laying the table with candles and a rose and all; fixed everything broken in her apartment (very sexy); held her close and wiped her tears when she was sad; had some great conversations where they both end up laughing (laughter/joy is part of romance in my book); and fought with the man who disrespected her (Ari). Considering that the two of them don't even know that they are starting a romantic relationship yet, I'd say there's plenty of romance yet to come once they do. What they are building, which is more important than romance, is true love and trust.
This novela keeps me on the edge of my seat for each and every episode. I am really enjoying it.
Nina - I was wondering why no one could dial 911, but then it's a novela.
Tofie- you're right! Max should be okay because his heart has already been snatched out of his chest by MD.
Vivi- you are so right about the blossoming relationship between Doris and Orlando. That's the formula for making a successful
romance/marriage.
This Corina person reminds me of a more worldly Doris, but let's see.
brake them up. He's a really decent guy.
He tried to get her to see how much of a mess Shes in, but I think she likes where she is, its gonna come back and bite her in the ass.
Anita, I love that scenario. Corina wears MD's coat and they think she's MD and kidnap her, except her different hair would give her away. Did anyone notice that she said the name of this TN? I don't think anyone has said it before. I wonder if this actress is a famous non-actor in Mexico? Her sudden appearance makes me wonder.
the other recappers.
I'm a lurker and not so good with coming up with great thoughts but enjoy reading all that the commenters put out.
Can't wait for tonite's episode.
Ann-NYC
I feel guilty now for even suggesting Dan kidnap MD; she really did look terrified running through the airport. Anita I think the same thing: that the whole reason for the wildly colored wig and mention of the coat was for a switch. (Although they would've had to switch entire outfits, no? And bags, maybe?) I'm curious as to what they actually decided because Corina invited MD to go with her to Monterrey and she looks like she might be around for a few episodes.
Vivi - I could quote your whole post about Orlando and Doris. I love them! If all TN romances could be that real and adorable, we wouldn't be clawing the virtual walls a month into some of them.
Tofie - 1) I also thought Max was finally going to hear the truth when he showed up at the vecindad. My jaw actually dropped when he got stabbed. I stared at the screen for like half the credits. Alma and Claudio are going to want MD's head for this! (But on the plus side, those thugs might finally go to jail.) I hope that in the aftermath they at least find out the truth about MD, now that (hopefully) she's out of the city. 2) I'm also worried about Ivana buying this load of crap and going hard core after Max. Alma will be all for it and Max will be laid up in the hospital with the oh-so-sweet Ivy visiting all the time...nope, don't like it, don't want it, bah humbug.
Maybe Ivana and Jerry, but I don't think that will work either cuz I think he's gay? I don't know.
It would've been great if the two Stooges would have gotten into a car accident while they were arguing about whose plan was better than the others, but that's not going to happen they're going to be there to continue to annoy people. Tonight should be good.
I've given MD a hard time. But the girl has been through the wringer and she keeps on pushing.
Great moment when Max turned up, too bad about the aftermath.
Love Doris and Orlando's down-to-earth romance. It helps that he's so hot. Otherwise his turning over for a butt injection just wouldn't have worked. :D
will go back savor slowlly. Thank you for intriguing recap.
Terri, I was wondering the same thing. I think you can buy those injectable antibotics at Mexico's pharmacies. That Doris quite amazing gal. Her and Orly have so much chemistry. I mean he even seemed pretty boring with Isela, but with Doris is he so charming and witty. Doris brings out his specialness. He is always kidding and laughing with her, yet caring and gentle at right moments. I love all the sweet things he does at Doris's home. Yup, I hope I don't jinx anything between them, but I think Isela is history big time.
