Ivana is spritzing perfume & ready for action.

Daniel & Jacinto are disgusting bums.

It seems more clear that Doris was probably part of a well off family that didn't like her life choices or people she hung around and tossed her out. I don't think she originated from the hood if she had a childhood nanny.

What would be funny about that is Ari would've had everything he wanted in Doris: a rich fat girl but he threw her away with his lies, cheating and greed. Now Orlando will reap the rewards.
 

It would be beautifully ironic if Ari lost his shot at a fortune over this. Too bad, so sad.

Let's not forget that Maria Dolores and Corina switched clothes and MD took the wig. JackAssinto and Scuzzy caught up with the bus and grabbed Corina. They dragged her to a hotel room and demanded to know where Maria Dolores was. If she knew she didn't tell, but she let them know that MD was escaping from them. She may have called them a few choice names as well. They threatened to call the police on her and accuse her of robbing them. JackAssinto tried to rape her and Scuzzy got flashbacks of himself raping MD. He stopped JackAss and they started to fight. Corina bolted out the door and down the stairs. They chased her but she got away from them. That's the last we saw of her.

Rudolfo's killers went after Julian but it was Max to the rescue. He got stabbed. Adrian got there and the thugs got away. He took Max to the hospital. Hosefa tried calling Isela but Claudio was horny and wouldn't let her answer her cell. So she called Alma. Eventually Claudio, Alma, and Isela were at the hospital where Honoria, Esperanza, Julian, and Clara were in the waiting room. Claudio demanded they leave, but Esperanza refused. "You can throw us out of your office but not here. We're here for Max." Or something to that effect. Eventually the doctor came out and reported that while Max lost a lot of blood there were no punctures to any vital organs. Major relief.

More confusion for Ivana regarding MD's pregnancy. Susanna said something that caused Ivana to finally slap her hard. Maleny heard about Max's being stabbed. She, Ivana, and MD all ended up at the hospital at the same time. Claudio was not pleased. MD admitted in front of all of them that she is pregnant because Scuzzy raped her and she is going to sic the law on him. Max got up from his bed and said "And I'm going to help you."

Now it's time to catch a few zzz's.

I did not see Ivana slap her aunt, I saw her storm off after Susana made joke about Max bad luck. When it ended, I only saw MD show up at hospital and Ivana and Mal were freaked. I did not see anything where MD announced her rape to them or Max say he was gonna help her. ??? I guess I feeling a little better about MD, because I was happy she went back and took nana with her. It made me feel good to see Espy smiling broadly when Doris and her Nana were embracing. I hope she stays with

Orly she ended by saying "because that is what hard working woman does." I wouldnt doubt if she said that because when she left her parents, she vowed she would work hard to support herself. She might be richer than we think. Remember she didn't want to discuss anything about her family with Orly. If she is from money, I am so glad smart Doris didnt tell Ari. (Rata de dos patas) peri muy super beefcake. I like Orly more though.

Pls let me know if I stopped watching novela too early and missed those parts.

Sorry I forgot to write what I reallymeant to comment about. That it was funny when MD is telling Julian that she was going to press charges. AGAIN with same amount of previous determination ad we seen before. her kid will be graduating from college and she will still be talking about pressing charges. Talk talk talk.

Also, can y'all imagine the shocked reaction from everyone at hospital if she had shown up in her pellorojo and hooker getup?? I am so surprized that didn't happen. Alma woulve fainted.

I should have taken notes during this one but when MD arrived at nana's place she didn't let her in right away, thinking she was a hooker. She talked to Doris on the phone and Doris told her that MD wasn't anything like that. She went out to look for her and she was at the bus stop. She took off the wig at that point and nana let her in. They talked and she finally convinced her to go back and face the music. She went back in some of her own clothes.
 

Thanks Anon207 and UA for filling us in but Ava I too did not see Ivana slap Susanna nor MD say anything. It ended when she walked in the waiting room and faced Ivana and Maleny.

Agree, MD to this point is all talk, has taken the cowardly route by lying to Max and running. She did remind herself and Julian that he was now at risk because he stood up and fingered the two thugs that robbed and killed Rudolfo when the easy way would have been to remain silent and hide.

Doris's nana told MD she wished she would have encouraged Doris to fight instead of helping her flee, the result was she had not seen Doris for many years. The conversation between the two began when Nana mentioned Dan could still find her and MD tried to leave fearful she was right and could hurt another innocent person. Nana told her why take the cowards route by running forever looking over your shoulder when she should be with the people she loves and face her tormentor face to face.

I give big props to Espy for speaking up to Claudio and shut him up with truth, he can make them leave his office but has no rights in the public hospital. I think MD hasn't given her mother enough credit, she is a strong woman not some weak willed rag she had to lie to.

Susanna called Gerry and let him know Ivana was headed to hospital to visit a gut cut Max but more important that MD was pregnant. They both know if Ivana flips to bad Ivana, if Dan is the father, again it could be both of them in the street and Dan back in the house.

I was in shock, the brazen thuggery of Daniel and Jacinto, to march on the bus and drag Corina her out at knife point. Surprised that Dan foiled her rape but her screams from the room were making me sick and couldn't believe it was happening again.

 

Once a mother gets sick and a doctor says "She has to remain calm" nobody will tell her anything upsetting. That needs to go on the cliche list.

Scuzzy might think that a baby would be his re-entre back into Ivana's mansion, but I don't think that would work even without what Ivana knows now. She has been on the receiving end of his violence, he brought JackAssinto back into the fold, and I'm sure he's hurled a few insults at her.

What could be interesting is if she were to reveal to him that his family isn't broke,, but she may not realize he doesn't know that. That would send him running back to Mama Bear with more venom than ever.
 

Thank you to the above 7 comments. You pretty much covered all the action. Tofie, I agree grabbing Corina was not only brazen, but horrific when Jacinto went after her. Can we give Dan-Dan one small, very small gold star for the day? Maybe a half a star?

After reflecting on the whole scenario, I had to laugh at the set up. Por Dios, they took her to a *hotel* room in town? They weren't in Monterey yet. It seemed rather upscale from a Motel6 or Red Roof. They were just passing through, following the bus which they boarded at the first rest stop. Corina was a hellcat, knifepoint or no. Someone had to go in, register, use cash or credit card, get the key, take the elevator up (or sneak her in a side door?), but this hotel had well-appointed rooms and there were enough floors to make a good escape scene. Glad Corina got away. Wonder if we will ever see her again.

I can't believe that it looks like my crazy theory about Doris coming from money might pan out. Please let it be so. I would so love to see the look on Ari's face.

Very happy to hear that Nana helped MD find her backbone. She sounds like she's a great addition to the good guys team.

Very glad to hear that poor Corina didn't get raped, and helped foil MD's kidnapping.
 

Everyone, that was an accidental spoiler for tonight's episode. The avances I get are sometimes long enough to constitute an entire scene of normal length. I will be more careful from now on.

Thanks, Marcia! It did go well. :) So sorry you have not been able to watch the episodes. Is your dvr recording while you're in Europe, or do you have On Demand with your cable network? You'll have to catch up when you're back. I actually haven't watched in a couple of days either.
 

Vivi, awesome your presentation went well but I'm not surprised.

Marcia, not sure about Europe but when I was in Asia for over a month I couldn't get anything to work for me. I have a Univision app tied to my provider and wouldn't work so I tried my Hulu subscription and it also didn't. Thankfully all these guys kept me up to date and I made a point upon my return to catch some scenes they raved about. Oh, I do remember I was able to see a YouTube of The Kiss between Max and MD when she dropped her bag, while in the airport in Seoul.

I hate that Corina had to struggle alone after being a Good Samaritan. Somebody – a stranger, bus driver, the police -- should’ve helped her.

Must admit that I’m forgetting why MD is reluctant to press charges. Even if there is no conviction or even if the district attorney or whatever refuses to take it to trial or to plea bargaining, at least she would have the satisfaction of knowing she fought back.

So funny to see MD facing off before both wanna-be-Max’s outside his hospital room.

 

Urban, thank you for explaining the mention of those scenes I thought I had missed last nite. After commercial breaks they show the opening intro with credits and there have been times I think its over by mistake, so I thought thats what happened.

Susana and Gerry mentioned they could not eat eggs for breakfast because they had gotten upset/mad. Is there any truth to that?

Cant wait for tonight, especially since there gonna be some dramatic slapping. Tn's never have quiet little slaps, they always dramatic and exaggerated.
 

Vivi, thankfully, I've set it to record via DirectTV, it'll take a lot of fast-forwarding (or a very long time) but I'll get to see the highlights eventually.
