Yo No Creo en los Hombres, #77, Wed 10/28/2015: Friendships are Tested and Obliterated

We start where we left off with MD very cautiously asking Claudio if he and Isela are doing the bunny hop in the office and under his wife’s nose at home. Claudio denies, denies, denies. Then he plays the offended party and accuses MD of threatening him, and returns a veiled threat, which MD asks him to confirm. He ends the conversation by turning his back on her, and she slinks out. As soon as she’s out the door, Claudio calls Ursula and says he’ll help her get Dan out of the pokey.

Orlando has asked Ari to meet him in the hood to tell him about him and Doris being novios. Ari goes apesh*t and starts accusing Orly of staying with Doris to seduce and have sex with her (Orly denies this), then starts beating the crap out of Orly. Orly doesn’t fight back, but keeps insisting that he’s Ari’s friend, and points out how he didn’t intend to fall for Doris and in fact tried to help Ari get her back. Ari is NOT listening to or accepting any of this. He leaves Orly with a warning—“Just like you took Doris from me, I will take you down.”

Maleny arrives home, and lets Ursula and Arango know that she knows Arango isn’t the killer. Ursula realizes she must have been speaking to Medina, but seems unconcerned. Mal decides to poke the mama bear, by telling Ursula—“Someone, in exchange for my body, told me there’s a sixth person involved. I think the sixth person is who killed my father.” She leaves, and Ursula gives a nervous looking Arango a questioning look.

MD’s next stop on the search for truth is Josefa’s apartment (yeah, the last place anyone should go for the truth). Isela, like Claudio, denies, denies, denies. But MD is not quite as naïve as she used to be. She points out that Orlando saw them kissing. MD expresses her disappointment in Isela, and Isela has the nerve to question MD’s friendship and loyalty. (Don’t even get me started on this little heffa.) MD refuses to desist, so finally Isela throws her a bone by saying she’s stopped working with Claudio and has returned home. Problem solved. “I hope that’s the truth. Otherwise, I’ll have to tell Max and Alma.”

Mal calls Ivana and mocks her that her lawyers have served no purpose, and it looks like it will be Claudio who saves the day and Dan’s hide.  Arango barges into Mal’s room, pins her against the wall, and kisses her in a threatening manner. He’s ticked that she nearly let slip their dalliance in front of Ursula. Mal threatens to tell Ursula about their trysts, if he doesn’t tell her who the sixth person is. He smugly refuses and reminds her that she means nothing to Ursula. “The only things important to your mother are money and Daniel.”

Meanwhile, downstairs Claudio is negotiating the terms of his assistance with Ursula. He doesn’t want anyone to know he’s involved. He will instead advise her lawyers from the sidelines. Ursula is not having that. She wants Claudio to use his contacts. Claudio refuses to risk his name and reputation. Then points out this all might be for naught anyway, since MD knows about his affair and is also threatening to tell his wife and kids. “You’re not the only one threatening to destroy my family. I’ve got nothing to lose.”

Isela talks to Alma and tries to beg off returning to the Bustamante house. Alma insists she stay until at least she gets her own apartment. “I want…I need you to be here. But I also understand if you want to be with your mother.” Josefa is happy to hear that Alma is so thoroughly hoodwinked by Isela. She wants Isela back in that house, and back in Claudio’s bed, before some other little whore (her words, not mine) comes and snaps him up.  Isela insists that Claudio is dying for her, and dying of jealousy that she’ll return to Orly.  But all of that might not matter anymore, since MD might blow it all out of the water by telling Max and Alma the truth.

MD and Espie discuss what MD did or didn’t find out about the affair. Espie thinks they should just let things be, since they have no real proof. “If there was something, it’s now over.” They start speaking about the engagement dinner happening the next evening in their house. Even though he’s not yet 100%, Max wants to move full steam ahead.  Clara will bake cupcakes for the occasion and get a special gift with the proceeds from her sales. Espie and Clara make a MD sandwich with a happy family hug.

After beating the stuffing out of Orly, Ari goes barreling into Doris’ apartment. He demands to know if Doris left him for Orly. She denies it, but then has to admit that Orly is the guy she earlier admitted she had fallen in love with. Ari thinks that it was all part of her plan to get Orly into her apartment, to seduce him. He gets all grabby and up in her face. Doris looks at him like he’s crazy, and tries to slap some sense into him. He just gets more incensed. Doris wonders how he and Orly could have been friends when they are so different. Ari points out that HE at least didn’t sleep with his friend’s girl, Isela. Doris wonders why not, when he and Isela are so similar. Ari tries to force himself on Doris, trying to prove his manhood and reignite the passion. She tries to fight him off, and is helped by Orly, who arrives to defend his woman. Doris separates them before a brawl breaks out in her apartment. She tells Ari off before kicking him out—“Instead of throwing around blame, you should ask why I fell out of love with you!” Once alone, Doris and Orly hug and kiss in relief.

Max and MD talk on the phone before bed. Max wants to get married and get everything done quickly before the baby arrives, so that they can have some calm moments before they become parents.

In Casa Bustamante, Alma reminds Claudio that tomorrow is the engagement dinner and she’s going over to MD’s house with Max. Claudio gets really nervous and skittish about the whole thing.

The next morning, Olando walks Doris to work at MD’s place, and offers to come back to walk her home, in case Ari’s lurking. Isela sees them kissing from the top of the stairs. After Doris enters MD’s house, Isela calls to Orlando. He ignores her and keeps on steppin’. She runs after him, and has the nerve to play the jilted ex. “How quickly you’ve forgotten me.” Isela accuses Orlando of not loving Doris and just using her to forget Isela. Orlando calls her a cynic, and correctly assesses that Isela’s just upset that he’s not her fall back guy anymore. He leaves her standing there, and Isela cries tears of self-pity.

Inside, Doris shares the news of her new noviazgo with Orly with Clara. Everyone is excited and happy for her, although Clara does wonder about how Isela will take it. Doris can’t help but be a bit nervous about it all-- “He likes/cares for me, but I would prefer if he loved me.” Espy and MD are sure he will soon be head over heels.

Josefa interrupts Ursula’s breakfast of bitter memories. If Ursula didn’t have an appetite before, she has less of one now. She looks at Josefa with contempt—“The only reason I would even share the same air with someone so disgusting and repugnant is because we’re in the same room. Get out!” Jo licks a tea cup and wipes a silver spoon in her armpit, then tells Ursula they are both made of the same garbage underneath (Jo has never spoken truer words). Jo’s mad Isela got thrown under the bus and out of the Bustamante house, in order to save Dan’s miserable butt. She points out that her daughter is sleeping with Claudio out of necessity (poverty), but Ursula’s son is just a filthy rapist, out of pure conviction. “My son isn’t a rapist!” “Then my daughter is a virgin.” Jo advises Ursula to neutralize MD instead of messing with Isela, since MD also knows the Claudio-Isela secret. Otherwise, Jo will tell MD about Ursula’s plan to steal her baby (that’s old news to MD, Josie).

On her way out, Maleny stops Josefa and offers an alliance to bring down the Bustamantes and MD. Jo would be tempted, if she didn’t think that Mal was just a malnourished weakling…with a big mouth. She knows Mal must have been the one to spill the beans to Ursula about the affair. “And you want me to trust you? Please!” Mal doubts that Isela and Jo will accomplish their plans alone—she’s sure Isela is with Claudio neither for necessity/poverty, nor because she loves him. Jo assures her their plan is still in play.

Doris and MD squee about the engagement dinner. Espie plans to make a pozole, and Doris is invited to stay, since she’s family. Espie considers Doris a third daughter.

Ari now rages at Isela about Doris and Orlando. He can’t believe she’s just going to let this slide. Isela mocks him—“Aren’t you man enough to get her back?” Ari kisses her aggressively, to show his manliness, and ends up bruising the side of her mouth and drawing blood. He releases her, and then demands that SHE seduce Orly back, or else he’ll tell Alma about her and Claudio!

Susana comes into Ivana’s room to rub in her face that Gerry is so mad at her, he didn’t even accept her invitation for breakfast and stood her up. Susana hardly bats an eye when Ivana tells her why Gerry is mad at her—she’s helping Dan get out of jail. Susana’s now supportive of Ivana’s plans, because their family name has never before been in the scandal section of the newspaper, and she certainly doesn’t want to see it there now. She shows Ivana the society section of the paper, in which a picture of Ivana and Dan appears, with rumors of their deteriorating marriage. Susana gloats that when the rape scandal hits, people will think that Ivana couldn’t satisfy Dan (which is why he raped MD). Ivana storms out.

Mal advises Ursula to negotiate with Espie (since she holds the deeds to Espie’s house) and demand that she control MD. Ursula is in no mood to negotiate with anybody. MD WILL end up on the streets, with no home and no child! But the most important thing right now is to get her baby boy out of jail.

Jo finds Isela icing her bruised lip. Isela explains what happened with Ari, and Josefa just delights in the whole sordid situation. Isela considers seducing Orly back, but doesn’t think he’ll return to her since he’s now in love with Doris. Josefa thinks it’s understandable that Ari would dump that skinny worm (Maleny) for something more substantial (Doris), but Doris can’t compare with Isela. But Jo would kill Olry before letting Isela get back together with him. She also doesn’t want to share any more info with Maleny (about their revenge plan), so they need to find something to control her. Jo is sure during their time together, Mal must have let some secret slip to Ari. They need to get this info from Ari.

Max and Leo arrive at the Morales home. Max is wearing a suit and tie, and MD and Espie also look lovely. Max brings flowers, and Leo brings a gift for his sister-in-law. Doris goes to help Clara finish getting ready. MD and Espie ask where Alma and Claudio are. The boys explain that Claudio had a work obligation, but will arrive later, and Alma went straight upstairs to see Isela. They have noticed she’s been crying all the time the last few days. It seems to Leo that she misses Isela more than she missed him and Max!  Upstairs, Josefa spins the latest lie when Alma worriedly asks about Isela’s bruise. “Orlando attacked her!” Oy vey!

Claudio IS actually working…betraying his son and his fiancé. He’s with Ursula, and her gang of lawyers in her study. Claudio tells the other lawyers that he’s just helping out (behind the scenes) due to the great friendship he had with Dan’s father. He asks Ursula if notification arrived before Dan was arrested. Ursula asks the butler. He says, yes. In fact, three arrived but he didn’t open them per Ursula’s orders—she told him to ignore such documents in case they were the divorce papers from Ivana. Ursula hushes him up before he can expose any more of their dirty laundry in front of Claudio and Ivana’s lawyers. The wheels are already going in Claudio’s head. The three notifications were just to have Dan go to the station to make his statement-- not for him to be arrested. This means Dan was arrested arbitrarily and they can use this loophole to get him out of jail!

Avances: Before Claudio’s loophole can be enacted, Dan gets transferred to the big house. Ha!

Whew! The cable and internet went out almost as soon as I hit the publish button. Any typos will have to be corrected tomorrow once I have internet.

Great work, Vivi.

The "L" word now is "loophole" and it's filthy in this case. But there are too many episodes left for that not to happen. MD needs to get out of the country. Leave the house with only a purse, no suitcase, and get on a plane for New York. Max can join her in a few days. This is the only way for them to be safe.

Or maybe the guys in the pen will put Scuzzy back in the hospital.

More later after I catch some zzzz's.

Oh boy, what a show and thanks Vivi for explaining things for us. Bunch of conversations I missed details and you deliver.

"Don’t even get me started on this little heffa" I had to check myself, much as it enrages me when a man puts his hands on a woman, I smiled when Ari drew blood.

"He ignores her and keeps on steppin’"

Josefa is the only person not afraid of Ursula. Lick that cup girl.

Claudio as I suspected considered MD's visit a threat and drove him right to Usurla. Still struggle with MD's logic, Claudio was right, she had no proof of anything, only hearsay.

Money and Daniel and in that order.

Thanks, Urban and Tofie.

Yep, in that order. Money and Daniel.

I love the scenes between Ursula and Josefa, because Jo is right. They are the same, except Ursula wear nicer clothes. Jo has no fear of her and it drives Ursula batty.

Ari has now gone over to the dark side, and I wonder what he'll do next on his quest to destroy Orly. I wouldn't be surprised if he backed up the story that Orly attacked Isela.

And Ari has some bloody nerve after cheating on Doris to think she should still love him. Doris respects herself and won't put up with that nonsense.

Claudio must be entirely without a conscience. Considering what he knows about los Santibanez he must also want MD dead to help them. I don't think it's even about the threat he perceived during their meeting last night, either. It's the Class Thing. It's about the fact that Max and Leo aren't quite what he wanted them to be. And that he was wrong about Maleny.

Hosefa called it correctly about Ursula, but that doesn't remove all the demerits I've given her.

UA I agree this is Claudio's passive aggressive way of dealing with MD, the class thing but also because MD isn't what he wanted her to be.

Urban- Yeah, both Ari and Isela have nerve thinking Doris and Orly should always be waiting in the wings for them after how they have betrayed them. Doris was right to compare them. What arrogance.

I think part of Claudio's reaction to MD was also about arrogance. How dare little, poor MD call him to task and question his morals. Him helping Ursula isn't even logical, as he pointed out himself, since MD can at any moment do what Ursula is threatening to do. He's just doing this to get back at MD for daring to question him. When the truth of this comes out, it won't be the affair that will destroy his relationship with his sons. It will be the things he did to cover it up, and his alliance with the people bent on hurting the Morales family.

This is throwing Max under the bus as well unless he believes he can break the two apart. His own son for his reputation.

I agree - Claudio is caught up in that old "tangled web" (Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.) On another topic though, it has flashed through my mind several times now - do you suppose Danny Boy is not really Hector's son? His mama has such a wildly different feeling for him than for Malenay (whom she says she wanted to abort). We'll see...

OOps, forgot to say thanks for the quick and delicious recap, Vivi.

Thanks, Molly's Sister. It's possible. But I just don't think Ursula would have risked the golden goose by having someone else's baby and trying to pass it off as Hector's. We know from his conversation with Mal that Arango has never had sex with Ursula-- just worshiped her from afar. He's really the only viable candidate for an affair. I think it's as simple as Ursula being a cold-hearted beyotch, with no ability to love anyone except herself, money, and Dan. No man or daughter would ever be able to compete with that.

Ursula thinks like so many other gold-diggers that all other women are competition. Hector was probably foolish enough to love her and failed to see what she truly was. She competed with Maleny for Hector's love and favor and she hated that. Especially if Maleny was a beautiful child. If what we've seen of Hector is true to form he would have thought Maleny a perfect little angel.

Which she could have been before his death.

As for Claudio's class prejudice, he can go suck eggs. MD may not have been to college but she has initiative and some business sense. She's not lazy like Maleny.

The one thing that surprises me about Ursula as I write this is that since she (illegally) holds the deed to the Morales apartment why didn't she pull out that ace and demand the dropping of the charges against her precious little baby boy in exchange for it? She could always have done this while Max was in the hospital and capped it off by handing over an envelope with a color xerox copy or even blank sheets of paper right after Danny-Boy walked out of the slammer.

Why is Maria Dolores going around sticking her nose in Claudio/Isela's business, threatening to tell the truth to Max & Alma?

She's been lying the entire novela & more lies are yet to come, I'm sure, but now she wants to play town truth teller on Claudio & Isela?

I understand wanting to tell Max. I have no problem with that, but she could approach Max like "Um...don't you think it's a bit strange Isela is always around Claudio?" and get Max's wheels spinning (or tell Max of what she suspects).

But why would Maria Dolores think she needs to expose Claudio & Isela? Orlando has moved on. Alma would not listen to her anyway and why would Isela & Claudio tell MD the truth?

Why is Maria Dolores so stupid?

LOVED Josefa licking the tea cup and stealing the spoon!

Molly's Sister I also thought Daniel may not be Hector's child and wouldn't put it past her. She married Hector for his money and has already proven leveraging a pregnancy is in her wheelhouse.

It wouldn't have worked anyway. MD made it clear that not even the threat of taking her home would make her drop the case against Dan, and Espy backed that up when MD told her everything. I think Ursula knows that this time MD is dead serious, plus she has Max's support, which means her family would not be on the street if she kicked them out.

Maleny thought of the deed for Daniel angle but Usurla wants MD in the street, childless and way too many other people know about Claudio and Isela so that leverage has a shelf life so she's gonna use it.

If someone approached me as MD did Claudio I would assume, as he did, a veiled threat.
She did a poor job stating her motivation. Was it to protect Max, protect Isela, Alma or just to satisfy her own curiosity?

The biggest blind spot MD has at the moment is Isela. She still doesn't realize that Isela betrayed her left, right, over, under, sideways, and down. It will be hellish when she learns the truth.

As to her meeting with Claudio I think she wants to tell Max but wanted to give Claudio the chance to do it first. It should come from him on the assumption that too many people already know and that it would be better if he fessed up to his own son. It will not be good news, but it would be worse for Max to hear it from anyone else.

There are enough people who know about the Isela-Claudio affair, and are threatening to spill it, that it's actually pretty stupid of Claudio to be bending to Ursula's will to have her keep it a secret.

MD, Orlando, Ari, and even Maleny, are all people who could spill this secret to Max, Leo or Alma in any moment. This is a secret that will not stay hidden from the relevant parties for long.

MD's justification for feeling like she HAS to tell Max, is that if he finds out from another source first, then learns she knew/suspected, he won't forgive her for once again deceiving him. She promised total honesty this time around, so she's nervous this could screw things up between them.

Urban- We were writing at the same time, but ITA about MD's motivation for speaking to Claudio. He now knows there are plenty of people who could spill his secret to his wife and kids. It's on him now if he wants to come clean to them before that happens.

Josefa isn't afraid of Ursula because Josefa knows Ursula is just a hoodrat like her...only with nicer clothes. Ursula would be licking teacups, stealing spoons and pimping Maleny too if she hadn't lucked up on Hector.

Actually Ursula DID pimp Maleny to the Bustamantes and Dannyboy to Ivana, just as Josefa is pimping Isela to Claudio.

Isela and Ari are like many, many people. They play around with a lover, treat them any old kind of way then get mad when their lover finally has enough and move on. Doris & Orlando are not fall back people anymore and Ari & Isela are mad.

Ari thought Doris would be his fall back fat chick that he could have sex with undercover whenever he got tired of being a gigolo to more socially acceptable women.

Isela thought Orlando was her fall back simp, that would take beatings and abuse and protective orders and jail and still wanted to be with her. Even after her dirty affair with Claudio, she still thought Orlando would still be there after all of that. I don't believe Isela was ever in love with Orlando, only the idea of Orlando, because if she really loved him she would've run away and married him at the beginning of the show.

Then Maria Dolores should've said "Senor Bustamante, there are rumors floating around that you are having an affair with Isela, that I've heard from several different people, and I don't want to believe it, but if you are, it's best you tell Max, Leo & Alma before anyone else does."

But by coming to Claudio & saying "Are you having an affair with Isela? You know I'm going to have to tell Max, right?" Maria Dolores puts a bullsye on herself with someone who already doesn't like her. Claudio & Alma do not like Maria Dolores, so why would they believe anything she had to say?

I understand Maria Dolores wants "total honesty" now with Max, but is she going to now tell Max she went to his father's office and threatened to tell him, his brother & his mother about his dirty affair with Isela unless he came clean first? Of course not and when Claudio gets busted (by Ursula, Maleny, Josefa, Ari etc) he's going to blame it all on Maria Dolores.

Maria Dolores should've followed Esperanza's advice and minded her business. She's got enough troubles on her plate without adding more to it.

Anon, I completely agree with that. Isela blew her chances right out the window ages ago. It will be fun when she and Hosefa finally turn on each other.

Since pancreatic cancer is a fairly quick killer, does anyone think Alma will survive to the finale?

Alma might not believe her (or anyone else who would tell her that Isela and Claudio are having an affair, other than her sons), but Max sure would. That's enough to get the ball rolling. MD doesn't need proof. She has Max's trust. Which she is trying to keep.

Maria Dolores could always say to Max, hey---there are rumors in the vecindad about your father & Isela having an affair. Before you accuse him, maybe we should get some proof, because I know how I felt when I was accused of things.

Maria Dolores has already re-broken that trust bond with Max by going to Claudio about the affair. Her allegiance is to Max...she should have gone to Max first.

Now when the affair is revealed by anyone other than MD, Claudio will tell Max that MD knew all along and was threatening him, that she came to his office and threatened to expose him. He won't tell Max about Ursula, Maleny, Orlando etc knowing. He will only expose Maria Dolores b/c he doesn't like her and never will.

Aside from Orlando seeing them kiss there is no proof unless in flagrante delicto

MD really didn't go about it the right way. She should have explained that she and Isela may have been friends for a long time but this new revelation has also shocked her. She should have framed this in the light of how this would ultimately affect the Bustamantes. Not sure how much difference that would have made in practical terms, but in emotional terms it might have made Claudio realize that he needed to tell Max, then Alma, and then they should close ranks until any scandal boils over. That might be what Alma would say they need to do.

I think Alma is Old Money and the mansion is hers.

I do agree that MD's nervousness got the better of her and she stumbled over her words, making the situation worse. But I understand her motivation for going there and trying to spur Claudio into coming clean to his family.

Even if MD had never said anything to Claudio, someone, any one of the villains- Mal, Isela, Josefa, Ursula- would tell Max that MD knew all along and hid it from him. Claudio's not the only one who would think to use that tactic to throw a wrench into MD's relationship with Max.

Anon207 I could see Claudio making that argument to Max but as uncomfortable with how she approached this and agree it another case of Max the last to know, she'll do something much worse, yet. Don't know what it is but the pattern of not including or belatedly including Max is one she'll continue. I understand she is an independent person but if it concerns Max, whom she wants to marry and partner with, she should discuss with him warts and all. Max isn't a fool or a child.

Max even referred to MD's child as their child and cause for suggesting moving up the wedding date. I commend him but poor Max, ignoring the 600lb Daniel in the room.

Thanks, Vivi. Terrific recap. Appreciate all the dialogue.

ITA Claudio’s reaction to MD was based on their class difference. What a fool he is. Too many people already know about him and Isela.

Loved, loved, loved the faceoff between Josefa and Ursula. I was actually cheering for that nasty, crazy beyotch Josefa.

The problem with Ari going to the dark side is he’s not smart enough to swim with these sharks. They will eat him alive. Though he had taken his relationship with Doris out of the shadows, he was not up for marriage with Doris but Orlando is. Maybe I’m a Pollyanna, but I’m hoping Orlando and Ari can work this out as friends. So far, I'm not putting Ari in the same boat with Isela, who has stabbed MD in the back several times.

Thanks Niecie. Like you, I hope that there is some way Ari and Orly can eventually make peace, because they had a great friendship/were like brothers. But Ari is in a very dark place right now.

Ari definitely won't survive that school of sharks. I also agree that as ugly as that fight between him and Orlando was it was in a cleaner place that what will happen when MD finds out about Isela's betrayal. Ari and Orlando's differences are very straightforward while Isela sold MD out many times.

When MD finds that out I hope she doesn't forgive her. That's a lot to expect but there is a precedent.

However, I don't see Ari and Orlando becoming friends again. Especially if Doris inherits any money before the end of this tale.

Given Ari's violent reaction to Doris finding someone else, I think he's too much like Isela to be friends again with Orly. Maybe I'm wrong since Orly's "dating your friend's ex-girlfriend" is a different thing than Ari's "cheating on your girlfriend with some rich snob" (a more intimate betrayal of trust between friends), but given that Ari told Orlando that he wasn't interested in marrying Doris, I stand with Orlando. Loved Doris pointing out that he should ask why she's not interested in him instead of being a stupid macho jerk (although I wanted her to also point out the Maleny thing). She's still the best voice of reason on this show.

But it'll be interesting to see where Maleny goes from here now that she knows she has almost nothing left to lose by betraying her mother.

Kelly

Hey, Kelly. I certainly don't think Ari and Orly can go back to being BFFs (unless Ari did something noble like saving Doris' life), but I'm hoping Ari can stop hating Orly and accept his role in how things turned out with Doris.

Thank you Vivi and thank you Jardinera for yesterday's recap too.

Not much to add, I agree with many of the sentiments about the show. One thing, I think that Josefa didn't steal the spoon, she just rubbed it in her armpit and put it back, lol. That was my favorite scene, by the way.

My guess about #6, if it isn't Hector himself being alive but somewhere far away from psycho Ursula, then it must be Dan.

Imagine how angry Ari would be at Orlando if Doris turns out to be from money too.
It does bother me that Orlando is not saying that he loves Doris, and that he wants to see where the relationship goes and grows. That's always a death sentence to the relationship.

Maybe Orlando is just being reasonable? Even though these two have been friends, it would be unusual for him to go from "friend" to "madly in love" in a few days. I realize that's the usual novela rule (although love usually happens in, what, 5 minutes?) but this isn't the usual. But heck no should he get back with Isela. If she and Ari get any redemption, it should be of the kind that Vivi talked about- accepting their own stupid decisions and moving on.

Kelly

Thanks, Cathyx! I was typing while watching, so I looked quickly away when Jo took the spoon. It's even more hilarious that she put it back after wiping it in her armpit. I'll change it in the recap. :)

ITA, Kelly. I don't think Orly not going from friends who are attracted to each, to madly in love instantly, spells doom in my book. It's realistic.

Vivi, I like yalls recaps, the episodes are just
Crapy. These people are reprehensible. The lies just keep coming. The stories yall tell are
So good it makes me disgusted with the bad
Characters. You are good at this girl. Thanks
For great recap.
Now, isela is dirt. A big pile of nasty black
manure mixed dirt. She deserves whatever's
Comin her way. Shes not tryin to prove nothin about her sister any more, shes just
Being all out nasty. Shes got time to redeem
Herself, but will she? Will she let that poor
Excuse for a mother tie her to that lie about
Orly attacking her? If she does that I am done
With that skinny heffa.
Sri id just sorry, I don't like him. He should go
Away. And I don't care where.

Vivi, what a great accurate recap. You pay great attention to detail, and with the right touch of sarcasm it is very entertaining to read. Thank you. Vivi, while I agree she was trying to give Claud a heads up before she told Max to be fair. I needto agree with Anon207?? It was stupid thing for her to do. I also agree that it wont be the last time she does something DUMB.

I noticed that when Isela was getting on orlando's case about Doris, He replied to her that "She didnt love him anyway." i didnt like that, because it made me feel like Orlando was. Fishing for Isela to tell him that she does love him. He still not strong enough to resist her, so that made me nervous. After Ari told Isela to get Orly back, so he could get Doris back almost convinced me that Orlando will be put to test and Doris will be the one to get hurt, if Orly is still a fool forIsela's stockingsx

Also, Unless Dan was an infant or not born yet, i think he's the 6th person in that room and might have been the one who killed Hector. That is why Arango said if Ursa told Mal the truth she would hate Dan even more. One more hour, waiting with bated breath. Yeah!!!!
Ava

That last line: Ari is just sorry. He should go
Away. And I don't care where.

Hey Nina and Ava! Glad you ladies dropped in. Yes. Waiting eagerly for the show to start soon. :)

Ava- A few of us have put out the theory that Dan was the killer. The only thing that puts a wrench in that theory was Dan being truly shocked when he found out his father didn't commit suicide and that Maleny supposedly did it. My theory is that if he's the killer, Ursula did the same kind of brainwashing to convince him he didn't do it, as she did with Maleny to convince her she did it. But we'll all just have to see. Can't wait for the truth to be revealed!

Nina- LOL about Ari. He certainly got on your nerves this episode. Mine too!
