Uh, here's what I remember

Augusto gets through to Alicia prior to the interview by calling the station, they come to a tentative agreement and Alicia goes on the air to deflect answering if others knew or that she knew but goes into a very moving diatribe on love and lost love with Roberto in mind but implied Alex and it has the viewing audience spellbound and talking about it the next day.

Augusto takes Alicia home and they firm up the deal, she wants her old position back and the night security guard gets his back too. Augusto is very impressed and likes Alicia more each passing day. I mean likes, likes.

Elsa gives Alica a big speech about not lying to advance herself in her career but kinda falls on deaf ears because Alicia is sick of people kicking her and isn't gonna let it continue.

Alicia goes to have a make over after asking her dad to teach her to drive in response to Augusto's suggestion she has a big position and an image to project and to take advantage of one of the cars.

Roberto thinks something is fishy at the orphanage and talks to his attorney, nothing is resolved but the attorney tells him to lay low.

Luciana whines, whines about Alicia at home and at office and resolves to tell the press Alicia lied.

Sandra goes to doctor and gets the news she is in early stages of menopause and why the hot flashes. She realizes her bio clock has nearly ticked it's last tock and had a round about conversation with Augusto, musing what if we would have had a youngun.

Gathering of press outside Ikonia, Luciana goes to spew venom and tells Alicia is a liar only to be ignored as a sports car arrives and out steps a knockout Alicia with hair extensions and a red dress sporting cleavage. They begin to verbally spar and Augusto arrives, stands beside Alicia and welcomes her back to the fold.

 

Great episode last night. Thank you CeCe and Tofie for filling in the blanks. Got most of it but so appreciate your most helpful comments.
 

I loved last night. Knew a make over was coming but wow, yeah rah, and she chose a sports car. Glad they rolled the evolution out slow then a big punch. We'll see how Roberto likes this. Gumaro reminded Roberto he was the one that taught Alicia how to lie when Roberto complained she didn't come clean during the TV interview.

I was surprised by how far the makeover went. You couldn't see anything of Alicia in it which disappointed me. She looked like she had borrowed a dress from Chuchette. When did bordello chic become allowed at the office? Also, surprised Luci didn't take a second look at Alicia's new look. Wonder what Rob will think?
 

I thought I would be more disappointed and advocated early for her to remain largely unchanged but after being beatdown, misused and fired I welcome the in your face. As long as she is not bitter, though she has reason to be.
 

My DVR didn't record? Anyone know where I can watch?

I was expecting EVERYTHING---all the dirty laundry to come out in the tv interview but it was not to be. Well Alicia got her position back and the security guards as well. Alicia is so good hearted, how could anyone not love her? Well on second thought, there has to be some or we wouldn't have a show--right?

Carvivile---I agree with you. I absolutely adore Maite but that new look? I cringed
last night. Bordello chic says it all. And the heavy makeup and eye liner OMG! NO!

Don't know if I would want to go back. Let's see---For a long time, years? Lichita was the laughing stock of the office. She was laughed at, ridiculed and made fun of on a daily basis. And for what? All Lichita wanted was to do a good job and make an honest living. She had spunk and a stick with it attitude because she believed in herself and her ability. Three cheers!!! She moved up, started winning accounts and got promoted. Her co-workers backed off some but after the wedding debacle, she got fired. Most everyone went back into their old harassment mode and cheered her dismissal. Go back to those people? I don't think that I would but maybe Alicia is out to prove that she is the best damn advertising executive that Iconika has ever had. And so I say---Go girl and show these losers what you've got!

Thanks Tofie and Cece! On the phone so I will be brief. I think the new look is meant to be extreme and will match an extreme shift in Alicia's attitude. I think by the end of the tn, she will find a balance both in attitude and look, and won't look so bordello chic when the fin shows up on screen.
 

Alicia is an awesome brand maker and the persona that showed up in the sports car isn't her but all the haters worst nightmare.

I am sick of Braulio and Brisas. She should realize he is a hopeless ass and move on.

My favorite scene was Elsa lecturing Alicia on BLACKMAILING Augusto and Nacho agreeing with Alicia it was NEGOTIATING. Loved it!

Roberto really needed the lawyer to tell him to behave himself? Another ass.

Rafael is beginning to realize there is something odd with his house sale in Buenos Aires. How long will it be before he finds out the buyer is Augusto? Will he ever see his money?? It is taking a LOOOONG time.

I love Aliciaa's new look and attitude.

Can't wait for the next episode!
 

Vivi I hope you are right. I am worried that Allicia may lose that spark that has made her successful with the clients. Hope her attitude change doesn't get in the way.
