La Vecina Highlights and Discussion #118-122* Dec. 7-11

*This can be corrected if it is incorrect. With the events in San Bernadino last week, there was an episode missing.

Mariana is the best!

Watching right now. Why would Sara subject herself to the garbage coming out of Emma's mouth? She should have just left her standing by herself in the hallway.

Sara thanks for the post :)

Vivi, I know right, ProtaSara's too nice to that I'm going w/Bruno and calling her a she-devil. Maybe its because she thinks when Antonio wakes up and they are finally together she'll have to get along w/Ema at family things.

Just finished watching.

Sneaky- I agree that Sara is being respectful because Emma is Tonio's mama. I agree with Bruno that calling her an old witch is being unfair to witches. And when I say witch, I'm actually spelling it with a 'b' in my head.

Mariana is a such a nice person. Loved her going over to talk to Sara and to enjoy some delicious tamales.

I liked the conversation between Eduardo and Padre V. I liked that Padre pointed out that Sara's family was JUST as opposed to the relationship between Tonio and Sara, and that this was not a case of Sara pursuing Tonio (the other way around much of the time). I also liked Tonio's dad concluding that if Tonio were to wake up today and said he wanted to stay in San G and make his life with Sara, he would tell him to be well and be happy-- that's how pleased he would be that his son was well again.

What I didn't like from that conversation was Padre basically saying that Tonio is attracted to the idea of Sara-- a happy free spirit who liberated that side of himself. That if it weren't Sara, it would be someone else he would have latched on to. I don't believe that for one minute. I think it's Sara, and only Sara who led Tonio to be a better version of himself, and that he's truly, deeply in love. Padre is selling Tonio (and Sara) short there. I also don't like how he dismissed that Tonio could ever really set up a life for himself in San G, and Sara would never be able to live in D.F. He's basically saying that any relationship between them, even without family/fiance obstacles, would be doomed. Come on, Padre!

Gracias, Sarita bonita :)

I don't know why anybody listens to Ema, ever. She's rude and disrespectful to pretty much everyone. Maybe Ing. Uribe is the only one she hasn't been nasty to, but definitely she's shown her crappy attitude in front of him.

Padre V doesn't seem totally on board w/the Tonio & Sara relationship, maybe he sees Tonio in a bad light after all the times he disappointed Sara and thinks he's not really going to make her happy.

___
And also how dumb is Cheo
Saying in front of a cop that you would totally kill someone Duh
Whether he knew about the shooting or not that was a dumb move.

___

It seemed to me that the impromptu bachelor party for Sebas was because one of the bros heard Nata and Isa talking about him and the bros wanted to stay on top of him. Am I wrong?

___
Also didn't Uribe tell Ric he wouldn't be in charge of the SG plant, Sebas would, but then later w/Pedro Ric was still talking like he was in charge. I'm confused.
Unless Ric is lying to Pedro because he jumped the gun and now doesn't want to disappoint him?

___
And yeah, Mariana is awesome! She deserves someone way better than that loser she was dating. Who can we hook her up with?

Maybe the Seb/Nat relationship is too badly damaged & especially when he finds out that Nat kept the Isa/Ric thing to herself.
Sooooo, Seb & Mariana would be good & the BFFs would be bros in law.

Also, what will happen when Eduardo finds out that Ema knows about Isa/Ric

Wake up Tono & call for Sara.

Sneaky, I totally forgot about that--Middle Bro heard them talking in the hotel restaurant. But Isa was involved, so I might have been tuning her out :D

Sneaky- Yep. I totally think middle bro decided to throw the impromptu party after he heard Nat speaking about a Sebastian and got suspicious.

As for Mariana, let's see...which free and single men are left.

Cheo (NOT!)
Rocky (If he actually got a life outside of Cheo)
Titina's bros (LOL!)
Javi (We've never seen him interested in a girl)
Hot head Ramon (he doesn't deserve her)
Pepe (Maybe too old for her)

Very quick bullet points because I'm on my tablet:
- Mariana is a hit at the tamale dinner, especially with Javi!
- Cheo passes the interrogation with the cops, then goes to Sara's place to make an ass out of himself badmouthing Sara I front of Simon and Merce.
- Edwina uses her connections to get Sara in to see Tonio. She speaks words of love and gives him a cellular. Tonio starts to wake up! But the first word he mumbles is Isabel's name. Boo! But Sara doesn't mind. She trusts him. She informs the docs, they move Tonio to a regular room. Right after Sara leaves, Tonio mumbles her name over and again.
- Isa tells Emma that Tonio and Sara were shacking up. Emma is more determined than ever to separate Sara from him.
- Isa goes to see Tonio and says hateful things to him. Why do his family let her go in first? They know she and Tonio broke up. Ugh! She sees the scapular, and she and Emma get their knickers in a twist.
- Eduardo tells Emma that she's just trying to sell out Tonio for Isa's money, and doesn't care about his happiness. If he doesn't want Isa, then Ed will support him and they'll cut back on their expenses, even sell the mansion!

vivi thanks for the bullet points

So that means the bros know "Chebi"'s real name is Sebastian
Do they know he's in the hotel under somebody else's name?
What do you wanna bet that now that Ric knows Sebas is using his name athe hotel he threatens to charge him w/stealing his identity.

Edwina is awesome!

There aren't words (that I'd want to use) to describe how despicable Ric is.

Javi is totally gone over Mariana:)

Part 2:
- Middle bro seems smitten with Nata la Flaca when she and Isa come to complain about their noisy party. Sebas is saved because he was in the bathroom.
- Ric threatens Sara over impersonating a Conatrol employee at the meeting with the gov. He threatens to tell Uribe, if she doesn't stay away from Tonio and says it will cost Tonio his job. Sara agrees just to get him to leave, then calls Sebas about it after discussing with Bruno, Simon and Merce.
- Ric reports his success to Isa. They decide to meet to continue to plot. Nata is concerned, but not stern enough, in my opinion. Isa leaves the hospital for the rendezvous.
- Rafa is ready to confront Nelson about being the traitor. Pepe stalls Rafa long enough for Nelson to escape-- the city! Rafa chews Pepe out, then they pick up Nacho to join the search. They spot him, with baseball cap and duffle bag, in the town square. He bolts, they give chase, he gets knocked down by a car. As Rafa checks that he's ok, Nelson opens his eyes, looks confused, and appears to have...dun, dun, dun...AMNESIA! But Rafa doesn't buy it, and grabs Rafa by the collar and shoves him up against a wall. Ha! Nelson quickly admits he was faking, and starts crying and begging.
- Rafa is ready to drag him to the police right now. Nelson pleads about the safety of his family and begs for time to send them to safety (wasn't he supposed to do that weeks ago?). Rafa's not having it. There's no one better than the cops and Fidel to make sure his family is protected. Nacho points out that things will go better for Nelson if he turns himself in instead of them doing it. Nelson begs them to drop him off a few blocks from the station, since the saqueadors have eyes everywhere. He begs them to trust him to turn himself in. Incredulous looks all around.

End of episode.

Just saw that tablet changed scapular to cellular. LOL.

Gracias, Vivi! "Cellular"...lol :D Well, if it had an image of the Virgen on the case, it could count as both, right?

Nelson's little joke was SO not funny, and I don't know if I believe he's actually going to go through with it. In fact, they might be better off all going to Conatrol and then calling Fidel. Fidel's been in and out of there so much lately, it wouldn't look suspicious.

The more Ema whines, LOUDLY AND IN PUBLIC, about how much she needs Antonio to marry Isa so they don't go broke, the more I dislike her. And if Isa heard her ranting, would she get the hell out of there? Too bad Guillermo's not taking Eduardo's calls right now, because I'm pretty sure he'd get his butt on a plan and haul his daughter out of there. And I would not blame him one bit. And why does Ema think they're going to get their hands on the money anyway, the way Guillermo's behaving? Like his sense of "family" would somehow override the fact that as far as he's concerned, Antonio humiliated his daughter? I don't think so, Ema!

I love that Antonio is saying Sara's name :D And if he was mumbling about Isabel, I'd like to believe he was trying to say "Keep Isabel away from me!"

Kat- Yep. I think it was exactly Tonio trying to say, keep that hateful Isabel away from me. But they keep letting her in his room. *sigh*

I think at this point Isa knows the reason Ema hasn't ratted her out about the affair, is because she wants Isa's family money. Isa doesn't care because she wants Tonio for her own reasons-- to WIN, to beat Sara, to make Sara and Tonio suffer. She'd probably even encourage her father to invest more money in Eduardo at this point, if she thought it would mean Tonio would feel some obligation to marry her.

Sorry for interrupting last night Vivi, it was post then or never(or today, I guess)

I did think Nelson's amnesia joke was funny and I trust him, in fact I'm even willing to give him a little more time, hoping he runs in to Ric somewhere along the way and recognizes his voice. I think Nelson is the key to the whole case falling open.

Ema and Isa should get married, or at least end up together. They deserve each other.

No problem, Sneaky. I loved that you sneaked (get it) a comment in there last night. :)

I am not willing to give Nelson any more time. He has done nothing with all the time he's been given. In fact, since Pepe found out and pushed him to come clean, there have been TWO serious attempts on the lives of the good guys. I have more confidence that Fidel will be able to come up with a plan about how to use Nelson to catch the bad guys. Just telling the good guys that Pedro is the head bad guy would at least give them a better chance of protecting themselves! But nope. There's Pedro, waltzing into Tonio's hospital and chatting up his family!

Ack! You're so right, Vivi. Seeing Pedro waltz in and out of wherever "como Pedro por su casa" (see what I did there?) is so infuriating. Did you guys see that part where someone asked Pedro if there were any "loose ends" to clean up and Pedro said, "No, I eliminated them." Just as if he were saying "I had eggs for breakfast."? So creepy.

Denise

Denise- "como Pedro por su casa" Love it! :)

Words/phrases that jumped out at me today:

Se va a salir el tiro por la culata: Simon saying that Ric's plan to blackmail Sara is going to backfire, after Sebas hires Sara for real and backdates the hire to right before the Gov meeting.

La ferreteria: The hardware store, where Javi works with his father who owns it. He feels embarrassed about this after taking Marianna out for juice and being honest about where he works. He feels inferior with his high school education, next to her architecture degree. Bruno assures him that if he and Marianna really like each other, non of that matters.

El suero: The IV, that Pedro sent Isidro to poison and finish off Tonio. Luckily, Sara is there visiting Tonio, sees the suspicious masked "nurse" injecting the IV, becomes aware quickly of his distress, and calls a real nurse. She explains the fake nurse, and they intervene in time to stop the flow of poison. Tonio is saved. Sara informs his family.

Extra Vocab...

Frustrada: My state of mind, when the men of Conatrol (Rafa, Pepe, Nacho, and Nelson) discuss the fact that Pedro is the mobster behind everything, tsk tsk at the fact that he was hanging out at the hospital with the family of the man he tried to kill (!), and decide NOT to tell Fidel/the cops, but instead to wait until Tonio wakes up and is coherent, and tell HIM first. (I slap my forhead.) Caray!

I'll join you in feeling "frustrada" Vivi, but for a different reason...my DVR got stuck doing an "update" and I didn't realize it was stuck until the show was nearly over. I had to restart and got the last five minutes, so mostly what I caught was that Javi has a thing for Mariana, which, yay for everyone who called that one :D And then Sara saying there had been another attempt to kill Antonio, which, yikes!

So the guys still didn't tell Fidel? Boo!

Sneaky, "Ema and Isa should just get married," WORD!

And Denise, "Pedro por su casa" ha!

Kat- Nope they didn't tell Fidel. They actually all ended up driving Nelson to the station and waiting outside next to the truck for him. Since Fidel wasn't there, he comes back out and then panics and ducks behind the Conatrol truck when he sees Pedro and Anselmo across the street. That's when he's forced to tell the guys that Pedro is the mob boss. They sneak him into the truck, and all head to Rafa's house, where they learn how a few years back Pedro gave Nelson a loan to help with his father's health expenses and then eventually asked for info from Conatrol (maps, names of execs) as repayment. It was later that he found out what Pedro was really doing, but by then the money was too good and too tempting, and then recently it turned into threats to his family. Then they make the bonehead decision to wait until Tonio wakes to speak to him. DOH!

Yikes, Vivi! And it just goes on today...now it's "Well, he's awake, but we can't tell him because it might make him get worse."

In further news...Nelson has now shared with the guys that there is a mole in the DF, but he doesn't know who.

Javi and Mariana are giving each other "Dude, your family is crazy!" and "Dude, I know!" looks, respectively.

Since Antonio's meds were keeping him from speaking for about a day, Sebastian got to mess around with that a bit. Saying "I love you, too" when Antonio said "I love Sara."

Not-so-slick Ric tried to casually tell Uribe that Sara took the infamous meeting with the governor in Antonio's place, but Uribe talked to the governor's assistant who conveyed the governor's concern about Antonio AND nothing but praise for how well Sara expressed herself at that meeting. And of course they understand why further planning hasn't happened, but they're TOTALLY committed. Because Sara is made of awesome and everybody knows it. Uribe then called Sebastian who played innocent and said Antonio hired Sara before the meeting...he didn't need Uribe to sign off on that, did he? Well, um, no. Ric then got chewed out by Uribe for tattling about something that wasn't even true. Ha!

A cohete meeting is confusing for everyone except maybe Edwina. Um, changes, simplification, lots of money, but they have the cash. OK.

Antonio's dad now wants Antonio moved, but at least it's so people won't keep trying to kill him and not because he's a selfish bitch. Uribe agreed to transfer Antonio to the DF, but that was before the phone call, so we'll see what happened.

Isa gets into a fight with Sara in Antonio's hospital room, sending him into some sort of seizure and making all the machines beep. Later she tries to play nice, but it's WAY too late for that. He already told Sebas he loves Sara, then he told Sara he loves Sara, then he had ample time to recall all of Isa's latest bouts of bad behavior. He very clearly said "I don't love you" to Isa, but she's all "I'm a Cisneros!" and Antonio ended up grabbing her arm and making all the machines beep again. Isa went out to the waiting room to show off her new bruises (and yikes, they did look bad) and pretend that Antonio just flipped out for no reason whatsoever, in the middle of a nice conversation.

And there was probably some more stuff, but I'm on a tight schedule today. I was just so happy to get to watch the show today I had to write something :D 'Cause, you know how it is, La Vecina is "la que me pone de buenas!"

Thanks, Kat! Doesn't this make three times now that Tonio has had a relapse or crisis while Isa was visiting him? Don't they all see a pattern?

Everyone should have called Ema and Isa out on only being concerned that Sara was visiting Tonio, and not that he was nearly killed and Sara saved his life!

Loved seeing Ric look like a fool.

Nelson sure is sharing his info drop by drop. I notice he hasn't told Rafa how he heard Pedro threaten to hurt Sara before her restaurant blew up. Kind of relevant, Nelson.

Ah that's right Vivi, he hasn't said anything about the threat against ProtaSara yet and that he and Pepe were the ones who wrote the note and that the DF mole is in on hurting ProtaSara too. Did he forget or is he just not very bright and hasn't figured out that all that stuff is important too, or is he holding on to info to put himself in a better position (though I don't see how it could)

And thanks Vivi for the recap disguised as vocab you listen much better than I do:)

Nelson also hasn't told that Pedro didn't know about Antonio being shot and called Nelson to chew him out for not telling him.

As I understand it, the Conatrol crew who know about Pedro aren't going to Fidel because they have no proof and they think it would just be Nelson's word against Pedro's and Pedro is respected in the community.
I think they should trust Fidel, he could keep it quiet while he investigated, even though Quintin talks more than he should, Fidel knows how to keep a secret, Pedro still doesn't know Fidel was/is investigating him for trying to kill Simon & Bruno's trees.

And thanks Diva for the update, La Vecina me pone de buenas too!

Oh yeah and I really hope Antonio tells the nurses/hospital staff soon to stop letting Isa into his room. Also I hope he can talk soon.

I keep missing +-the first five min this week need to set my clock back or forward? a couple of min ungh time stuff

If I don't get back this week its cause this tickle in the back of my throat has morphed into something worse (its going around)
but thanks guys for the discussion, great as always

Thanks, Sneaky. Hope you kick this bug soon!

Yeah, they want to find proof, but I think Nelson and his testimony is more than enough proof for the cops to investigate Pedro. They'll certainly know that stupid Nelson is not the boss of the mob, and that they need to take down the folks higher up on the food chain.

La Vecina, Friday, 12/11 Part 1 (Some scenes combined)

We see Isabe crying with her bruised arm outstretched for the waiting room crowd to take in. Isa insists that Antonio acted violently out of the blue, for no reason at all. Could these bruises be evidence of “secuelas” (consequences, after effects) of Antonio’s injury? Isa wonders out loud if perhaps Anto should remain under sedation until this gets cleared up.
In Anto’s room his doctor says he’ll order another tomography. If he has bleeding, this could be the cause of his sudden “violence.” Anto, in his reverie, is remembering Isa’s hurtful, threatening words to him. The doctor notices his discomfort and orders more sedative for him. (Argh!)

At Conatrol Sebas confronts Ric about trying to submarine Anto and Sara with his sneaky call to Uribe. Ha! Joke’s on you, Buddy!
But Ric tells Sebas that he is pretty sure that Sebas fabricated the whole “Sara being hired as Anto’s assistant before the important meeting with the governor” thing. (Okay, that’s true.)
“Oh yeah?” says Sebas,”Well you’re not going to float that theory by Uribe because he would not think favorably of you trying to blackmail Sara!” (Checkmate).
Sebas tells Ric to set up somewhere else, because Sebas doesn’t like the smell of his cologne.
Ric is pithed. Sebas will pay!

Sara is still with Simón, Edwina and Juancho. The latter three are jubilant about Simón’s idea for getting the cohete project off the ground. (Can’t help myself.)
Edw says that she and Simón are “muy compenetrados.” (Sounds kinky, but it means they work real well together – make a good team.) Simón says he likes the sound of that.
She is disappointed that it doesn’t look like Simón will have any extra cash to help her out with her restaurant, but she covers her disappointment well. She is also frantically worried about Anto’s health and safety. Uribe calls her and tells her about Anto’s being transferred to the D.F. for his own safety. Sara is crushed.
Then Mariana calls her to ask her not to come to the hospital b/c her presence seems to make Anto worse. (Didn’t Sara just save his life by being there?)
Onward. Sara will make the sacrifice if it means that Anto will be safer. Could Mariana tell Anto that she, Sara, loves him and prays for him everyday?

Slick Ric is thumbing through a phone book, calling random Cristina Aguileras, in an effort to locate Titina. He finally hits on Titi’s number, but he gets Arnold instead. Arnold gives him the third degree about what he wants with Titina, and then hangs up on him. He asks Titina who the (blank) she is giving her phone number to.

Nati and Isa are at the hospital, talking about Anto and his situation. Nati suspects that Isa provoked Anto’s crisis and the resulting violence. In other words, she’s right on. “Whose friend are you anyway?” demands Isa.
“It’s just that this only happens when you are with him,” says Nati.
Isa goes on to say that she will make Antonio give up his obsession with la VECINA. “I think the obsessed person is someone else,” says Nati.

La Vecina, Friday Part 2

Theme song. Doo doo dee doo :-)

Rather than being thrilled at his new position as Director of the Conatrol San Gaspar plant, Sebas is cursing his luck. He explains to Rafa that if he stays in San Gasp, he’ll end up married to Titina by force.

Titna gets her house phone and calls back the last number registered. It’s Ric, of course, and he tells her that Natalia, “la otra,” is staying at the same hotel where “Chevy” is.

Eduardo is beyond happy that Uribe has reassigned Antonio to the D.F., and he tells the fam in the waiting room the news. Isa is elated. She can’t wait to get Anto out of that hellhole and back to taking up their old life again.

Marina is letting Slick Ric know that she is not HIS secretary. She’ll do his bidding when she gets around to it! She is busy doing a task for her Jefe.
“What do you mean? Your jefe is in the hospital,” says Ric.
“Read this,” she replies, and hands him a folder, which tells him that Sebas, not he Ricardo, is the new Director of the plant. Ric ain’t happy. Sebas exits his office at that moment and he, well, gloats.

Anto’s doctor says that his tomography looks normal – no new lesions. He’ll order a consult with a “neuropsiquiatra” to determine the best course to take. Isa says why can’t we just take him with us now? The doctor tells her that that will be impossible, since they don’t know what is causing Anto’s change in behavior.
Isa offers to stay with Anto day and night to watch over him. (Phew, that’s a relief. Wait.)

Ric is ticked OFF! He’s throwing things around his office, which I think is the sala de juntas. He dials Nati’s number. She says that she’s not with Isa so...
No, no - he wants to talk to her. Does she realize that Sebastian is totally cheating on her? Well he is. He is put up in the same hotel where she is, and he’s about to shack up with his San Gasp honey, Ric informs her.

Rafa informs Nelson and Pepe that Sebas is the new director of the plant, so they will have to wait for him to get back in order to talk to him.

Ric makes a call to Titina to tell her that Sebas is about to hook up with Natalia at the hotel, if she’s interested.
Sebas is at the front desk of the hotel, trying to settle up and get the heck out of there before Nati finds out that he’s been staying at the same hotel as she has.l
Oops, too late. Nati calls him out. Then Titina shows up and the fight is on!
Insults fly until Titina yells that she and Chevy are expecting a baby, so Nati is the one who is in the way. Nati is visibly crushed. Sebas begs her to not believe her eyes and ears. She vacilates and then Titi pulls her fainting ploy. Nati walks away.

After the commercial, we see Natalia crying inconsolably as she packs her bags. Isa calls. Where the heck did you disappear to? she wants to know.
Nati tells Isa how distraught she is. Sebas is going to have a baby with that Titina chick! “Yeah, yeah. Can you bring my hand lotion when you come? I left it in the bathroom,” says the best friend in the world.
Nati: “I’m leaving this place, Isabel.”
Isa: “You can’t leave me here alone!”
Nati: “For once in your life think about somebody who’s not YOU!”

Titina does her usual “chantaje” with Sebas. “Our child. My brothers. My dizziness.” Etc.

La Vecina, Friday Part 3

Sara comes home in tears. Merce tries to comfort her, but Sara has a lot to be sad and worried about. Antonio is going back to the D.F; Sara can’t see him in the hospital; the insurance won’t cover her losses at the restaurant. And what if Antonio’s family manipulates him, and he stops loving her? That won’t happen if he really loves you, says Merce. And as for the insurance, Merce has a little saved up...
No, no, no, says Sara. I’ll just have to go with a loan from don Pedro.

Nati is packing. Knock at the door. It’s Sebas. “Let me explain, Mi Amor!”
They have it out. Sebas finally tells the truth – for once! But it is just too little too late. She’s done. She tries to get out the door, but Sebas accidently spills the contents of her suitcase on the floor. She leaves anyway. He chases her. She escapes in the elevator, but dobles back for her bag. She manages to lose Sebastian and she heads for the airport.

Sara calls Laura and tells her that she will need that loan from “don Pedro” after all. Laura calls Pedro and ask for this favor for Sara. Sure, he’ll lend the money. Just as long as Sara is willing to pay “el diez por ciento” in MONTHLY interest!
Couldn’t he make an exception in this case? inquires Laura.
No, no, he’s already done her a lot of favors.

Eduardo and Ema are discussing how Isa will watch over Antonio this night. Eduardo asks her to please be “prudente” if Sara should show up.
“I’m not promising anything if I see her,” answers Isa. Ema gives a smug smile of approval.

Sara can’t believe that Pedro would charge such a usurious interest rate. She is in a box. Okay, she’ll do it. Merce is upset thinking of the unthinkable risk Sara is taking.

Isa is watching over Antonio – “a su manera.” Her one-sided conversation consists of one threat after another. She’s going to see that he is sedated until they are back in the D.F. and far away from “esa tipa.” Telling her that he doesn’t love her was a BIG mistake, she says. If she needs to, she have him put in a straight jacket! “So reject this kiss if you can” she says as she bends down and places her heinous lips on his.

Cue the music.

Denise- Thank you for giving us this wonderfully full recap.

I just loved every time Ric was put in his place this episode by Sebas and Marina.

As painful as was for Nat to find out that Titina is going to have a (fake) baby, and Sebas is being roped into marrying her, I'm glad it's over. This is all part of Sebas' continued punishment for cheating in the first place. I am starting to really look forward to when the truth comes out about the pregnancy and Titina gets her comeuppance too. Isa's reaction to Natalia's pain, should be all the reason Natalia needs to end their friendship. Isa is a jerk.

And to my least favorite part of the episode-- I can't believe that after he has had THREE attacks when she's been in his room, Tonio's family is leaving his in Isa's care, ALONE, all night. Ugh! It's like she's actually trying to kill him. Pedro should hire her to finish Tonio off-- access, opportunity, and motive.

Thanks for commenting, Vivi :-)

ITA about how someone besides just Natalia should be starting to get suspicious of Isabel and her effect on Antonio. So they are definitely keeping the wrong person away from Antonio.

Denise

Gracias, Denise! I'm so glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read the rocket update and the vocabulary!

I share your sentiments on Isa, the best friend in the world. With friends like that....

I must have missed it when we found out that Titina's full name is Cristina Aguilera. For a minute there it sounded like Ric was trying to win a radio contest or something!

Hi Diva!

Thanks for your comments :-)

Speaking of Ricardo, the actor who plays him is just fantastic IMHO. i always look forward to his scenes.

Denise

Denise- Alfredo Gatica (Ricardo) is the real life nephew of Luis Gatica (Pedro).

Thanks, Vivi!

I remembered that he was a Gatica, but I couldn't remember his first name.

Denise
