Muchacha Italiana Viene A Casarse #88 Tue 12/29/15 (Mex 122) Well, she always wanted a daughter.

Gianna interrupts Pedro and Fiorella's kissyface session in the employee kitchen, pretending she didn't hear a word of their conversation.  She's just telling them about Roxi being thrown out when Joaquina comes in.  Pedro goes running to talk to Eloisa.  Joaquina wonders if she might have gone to a friend's house, but Gi can't resist snarking that Roxi doesn't have any friends (which is mostly true!) and both Joaquina and Fi are shocked.  Fi tells Gi it's not like her to say stuff like that.  "Yeah, well.  Keeping secrets is worse," says Gi, and storms off.

Fed is reading Eloisa's cards.  There's a pregnancy in the family.  Eloisa, still playing crazy, says it's her!  She's pregnant!  "Can you tell me if it will be a boy or a girl?"  Fed "predicts" a boy. Then she suggests they do a little "graphología" (graphology)…they can analyze her personality by analyzing her signature.  All she's gotta do is sign these papers riiiiiiight here.  Eloisa toys with her, putting her pen to the page and then pulling back, fighting with Fed over the papers.  The whole mess is knocked to the ground just as Pedro comes in and Fed hightails it out of there with the incriminating evidence.  Out on the stairs she and Dante argue--at least Fed's not wanting to kill Eloisa anymore, but she's desperate for the signature and Dante is desperate for Fed to calm the hell down and quit talking smack about the old broad.

Back in her room El's all "Shyeah I know who Rox is. I'm not crazy."  She tells Pedro the little party was over the line.  It was the last straw.  She's tired of Roxi's lack of respect.  Pedro argues she was too harsh and Roxi is still young.  She could be in danger out there!  Grandpa Maximo wanted them all to live together, and he must have had his reasons.  Well, Grandpa Max is dead, and Grandma El is DONE with Roxi.

At Casa Benito, Rey and Adela are both reading the paper, waiting for Rox to come to breakfast.  Adela sends Rey to go tell her breakfast is ready AGAIN.  "She has to eat." Rey screams for her and she schlumps into the dining room in a cute little matching ensemble of booty shorts and a crop camisole top (I'm being generous here, that might just be her underwear), with her robe belted yet flapping in the breeze.  And does anyone care?  Not a damn bit.  Adela mostly keeps reading her paper while Rox and Rey scream back and forth about how horrible the other's voice is.  Rox was apparently asked to do some voiceover work once.  Rey laughs when she says it was for a dog food commercial.  Adela asks if Rox would like some coffee, juice, tea?  Rox places her order for a chai tea latte with soy milk and artificial sweetener.  Uh, yeah, good luck with that.  Benito calls to say he's coming over soon.  I don't know what Rey's thing about the honey and raw egg smoothie was about.  I mean, I know it's a thing, and yay for protein and all, but it sounds like he was just suggesting it to gross Rox out.  Eh, whatever.

Aw, crap.  Pedro is going over to Benigno's house.  Thanks, Fidel.  He'll take his motorcycle so Fidel can stay and take delivery of Gianna's horse.  Which he reminds Fidel is a big secret.  Much hearty slaps on Fidel's back ensue.  After Pedro leaves, Fidel wanders over to Maximo's portrait to wonder how this will all end.  Maximo's expression: "Dude, I don't know!  What the hell are these people doing?!"

Osvaldo's all excited 'cause it's Death Day!  Woo hoo!  Tomorrow it'll all be The Os Show!  Sonia asks him exactly how the murder will go down, but Os wants it to be a surprise.  Sonia's workout wear is making him horny.  Creep.

Alina is alarmed to hear her good buddy Aitana talking smack about getting "revenge" on Pedro.  And then really alarmed to hear that her "revenge" is screwing around with Osvaldo.  Alina does the "I have a client who screwed around with a married man and it didn't end well" thing.  Aitana doesn't care.  She will make him pay!  Muahahahahaha!

Fi pops in a movie for Eloisa…and then starts arguing for Roxi's return.  She thinks with time, Roxi will get less annoying, like a mosquito bite on the bottom of your foot.  El doesn't buy it.  "You just have too good a heart, if you're forgiving her after everything she's done to you and your sister."  El supposes Gi must be happy that Rox is gone, though.  Fi says Gi is young.  When she's older, she'll learn to let go of her anger.  "You forgive too easily.  Do you think it was a bad decision?  To throw her out?"  Fi says nah, Eloisa's the boss, so if that's her decision, she'll abide by it.  They start the movie and El invites Fi to have a seat and watch with her.  They bond over their mutual love of romantic movies.

Pedro goes over to Benigno's and says he wants to talk to Aitana.  Benigno says he's worried about her.  She hasn't been doing well since the wedding was called off.  Pedro claims he wants to--he doesn't get the sentence out before Benigno's phone rings and he excuses himself to take the call.  Pedro casually wanders over and starts looking through Benigno's laptop bag.  Benigno sees him, but then loudly "ends" his call, giving Pedro time to head back to his chair and nearly fall out of it!  When he comes back into the room, he basically throws Pedro out for being horrible to his daughter, and then gloats that Pedro won't be bothering him anymore.

Roxi's in the same…outfit…she wore at breakfast when Beni comes over.  She confesses she feels lost.  "What will happen to my part of the inheritance?!"  Seriously?  And then she apologizes for rejecting Beni so publicly.  He proposes again and she says she's not ready right now.  She knows she was mean to him…this is how she is…this is what she always does.  She hurts people.  She says she does want to be with him, even if they don't get married right now.  "Forgive me?"  Of course, he does.  I guess it's baby steps with this girl.

Gael and Gianna dine al fresco at their love nest.  No fires this time, though.  She hears about how he and Alina want to find out who his mystery texter is and convinces him to talk to Pedro before he does anything else.  She tells him she's worried about what Fi is keeping from her and he offers to help her find out.  And then she busts out with, "Hey, take off your shirt."  Well, you go, girl!  When he obliges, she grabs it and runs off.  That would have been so much cuter if it didn't look like his pants were too damn tight and were trying to escape his butt.  TMI?  Oh well.

Osvaldo reviews the plan with the dog guy.  I am not a dog guy, but I think the dog in question is a German Shepherd?  And a well-trained one at that.  He hangs out while Os and the dog guy survey the terrain, then comes running when the dog guy calls.  I didn't catch his name though.

Joaquina is still stressing about Rox when Beni comes into the employee kitchen to say she's fine…uh, 'cause if something bad had happened, they would know, right?  Fidel agrees and is sure Rox will call soon.  Simona comes running in to announce that Pedro's cute new horse has arrived, so Fidel goes off to take delivery and call Pedro.  Simona jokes that Joaquina shouldn't be worrying about Roxi.  She's probably out there kicking the butts of anyone who's making her miserable.

Sonia's back from her run and hears Os' half of a conversation with Benigno--that the horse is ready, the dog is ready, and it all ends today.  The wheels turn in that pretty head.

Pedro reports his total FAIL at Benigno's to Fidel as they wander down to the stables.  He sends Fidel to get Fiorella and says he's got to try the horse out and make sure he's tame enough for Gianna.

Fi is waiting for Nicoletta to log on when Gianna arrives in their room.  Gi starts fishing for information…did Nicoletta give Fi some bad news or something?  "Hey, bad stuff happens."  They argue about whether Gi's a pessimist or a realist.  Fi gloatingly hints about a special gift for Gi that she can't tell her about.  Fidel awkwardly tells Fi that, uh, Pedro's, um, looking for her, um, for, um, well, that thing that, um, she already knows.  Oh, Fi knows all right!  She grabs her ugly floral parka and heads out of the room.  Seriously, you two, you didn't make it sound like it was that thing, you made it sound like it was that OTHER thing.  IfyouknowwhatImean.  AndIthinkyoudo.  Gi tries to get info from Fidel, but he evades the question.

Fed is hanging out with the cards in the living room while Os starts drinking and blabbing about how HE makes destiny.  (Ouch!  I think I rolled my eyes so hard I pulled an eye muscle!)  Sergio and Juli wander in, wondering if anyone's heard from Roxi.  Fed suggests they ask the cards.  Os (and I can't tell if he's already drunk or just being particularly relaxed in his speech) says sure, ask the cards…the chairs, the lamps, see who answers.  "Buncha crazies in this house."  Sergio says they really need to look for her.  Juli asks about her social media info.  Fed suggests the cards again and this time Os vetoes the suggestion.

Fi's phone rings and Gi sees the email from Nicoletta.  "Bad news….the hospital burned down years ago and the records were lost."  Nancy Drew Jr. hides the phone as Gael walks in.  And then pretends nothing's wrong.  And then tells him she's sure Fi's hiding something.  "OK, tell me on the way to school or we'll be late."

Fidel is almost gleeful when he finds himself in the employee kitchen alone with Benito.  He knows Beni knows where Roxi is, and he demands to know--on Pedro's behalf--if she's ok.  He is saved from Fidel's headlock by G+G, needing Beni to drive them to school.

Vitto needs to report the theft to the Ministerio Publico directly.  Rey, his one and only friend, comes by to confront him about lying about his imminent demise and put an end to their friendship.  Diana spies and looks disturbed.

At school, Rox hasn't shown up. Beni pretends not to know where she is.  Gianna is still being WAY snarky about it.  Gael wants to look for her.  She hasn't been on social media, like, all day.  OK, I can't even make an age joke out of that, because if I go an entire day without posting anything on the Internet at ALL, like, nada de nada, y'all know something is definitely wrong!  Gianna agrees someone must know where she is.  Gael gives Beni some cash and asks him to go pick up a book Gael needs for his next class.  They head off and Beni rushes to call his mom and find out when Roxi left for school.  Oh, but she's not going.  "What?  Is she quitting?  You get her here right now, even if you have to drag her by the ear!"  That's right…no woman of Beni's is going to be abandoning her education!

The horse is, indeed, a cute brunette with big brown eyes and a tiny white mark on his forehead.  Pedro rides him around the corral, observed by the dog man, his dog, and Sonia.  Fiorella approves of the horse.  Suddenly, the dog comes over, barking up a storm, the horse rears, and down goes Pedro.

Well, crap.

Thank you for the recap, Diva!

Good guess on Sonia's part about the horse paddock. Her bright pink jacket doesn't exactly hide her presence.

Interesting how Elo invited Fi to sit next to her and watch the movie.

Gotta run....long day. Thanks again!

Buongiorno e muchisimas gracias y mille grazie and thank you very much! Well, we know Pedro isn't dead but he sure was thrown from that purdy horsie. There was a big rock nearby and, other than being the galan, that's our big clue that he's not going down: his head didn't hit the rock.

From rocks to Roxi.

. . .she schlumps into the dining room in a cute little matching ensemble of booty shorts and a crop camisole top (I'm being generous here, that might just be her underwear), with her robe belted yet flapping in the breeze. And does anyone care? Not a damn bit.

There is no way a woman like Adela would not have sent Roxi back to her room to put on some clothes! She would not have stood for that. And Roxi has the nerve to be concerned about Rey walking around in shorts in HIS OWN HOUSE! This girl is not only spoiled, she has no home training, self respect or sense of decency whatsoever!

YES! This is a middle-aged old fogey rant, whatever you want to call it! Jeezopete, what are they working towards, the actresses just walking around bare-assed naked! I'd say they're their! Sheesh!

Man, that Assvaldo is so disgustingly arrogant with his dumb ass. It's going to be sweet seeing HIM take a fall. THE BIG ONE. Flaming jerk!

Sergio says they really need to look for her. Juli asks about her social media info. Fed suggests the cards again and this time Os vetoes the suggestion.

I guess none of these brilliant Angeles ever thought that someone might want to hold Roxi for ransom seeing how they're so important and FILTHY rich? Granny's supposed to be Alzheimery but we know she's not, did she ever think of this and what happened to her concern for scandal?

I caught that look of fondness and admiration Granny was throwing Fifi as they prepared to watch that movie. Wonder if that will fade when she finds out she's married to Petey or are they working Granny towards unbridled affection by the time she finds out.

This is just a YAH! and a HA! HA!

Seriously, you two, you didn't make it sound like it was that thing, you made it sound like it was that OTHER thing. IfyouknowwhatImean. AndIthinkyoudo.

He is saved from Fidel's headlock by G+G, needing Beni to drive them to school.

Fidel looks as if he could snap Benito in half! Is Benito taller than Pedro because he didn't look as tiny next to Fidel as Pedro does!

Otra vez, mille grazie, my friend!

*they're there!

Loved this whole recap, Kat.

I did actually see Adela do a double take of Rox's morning outfit, but then she chose to let it go. It seems to me that Adela and Ray are being easy on her. And of course Beni is a softie with her. But he is inclined to put his foot down where her education is concerned. At least he has priorities.

I'm glad the stupid planned accident is out of the way and Gi wasn't the one who got hurt. Now let's hope Pedro doesn't end up in a coma for the next many episodes.

Oh no, Vivi! A coma? Hadn't thought of that. They do have time to torture us, don't they?

Kat, wonderful recap.

"Maximo's expression: "Dude, I don't know! What the hell are these people doing?!" and "kissyface session" were among my favorites.

I'm enjoying Eloisa's subterfuge. When she realizes how sweet Fiorella is, will it soften her hard heart?

Os is an idiot. What a stooped plan! As you noted Vivi, this mishap will likely result in a coma, not death.

Sonia cared enough to be on the scene, but not enough to warn Pedro in advance something was afoot.

I love that Fidel towers over everyone, especially the odious Dante (who I think is quite tall himself).

I am still enjoying this show and the recaps, even more so.

Gracias, Kat.

Oh and Lila, "From rocks to Roxi." was great. Insightful observations.

Diana

So much fun reading, Kat. Thank you

"Sonia's workout wear is making him horny"

"Pedro reports his total FAIL"

"Hey, take off your shirt." Why wasn't this show about Gianna? I think Ela Velden is stealing it.

Searching for the weee bit of entertainment and found it in the Alina/Aitana girl chat. Want more please.

Comment deleted. If it hasn't happened yet on the show we do NOT talk about it.

Gracias, doris! I guess we're back to El's earlier attitude with Fi--she likes her just fine, as long as Fi's not trying to snag her grandson. But, come on, she heard their conversation in her bedroom, so doesn't she know? Maybe they didn't say anything too incriminating?

Gracias, Lila! Are we supposed to be getting something from Roxi's general schlumpiness in this episode? She never walked around dressed like that at the Rancho! When Beni didn't scold her I thought "OK, they must be legit PJs," but then I guess Beni has his priorities. Walk around in front of my dad in your underwear--cool. Quit school--aw hell no!

Gracias, Vivi! I see we're on the same wavelength about the Roxi/Beni/underwear situation. Well, this should be interesting to see what happens now that Adela has been given the instruction to haul her bodily to school. I like Feisty!Adela :D

Gracias, Diana! If nothing else, I would hope that El notes the difference in the way people behave towards her now that they all assume she's delusional. Too bad Sonia and Os have been careful not to be openly nasty around her. Roxi already paid the price for open contempt. I guess she's just keeping Fed around so she can keep an eye on her?

Gracias, tofie! I share your affection for Gi/Ela. Sometimes Gi's poutiness gets to me, but then she does something utterly charming, like ask her boyfriend to strip or squirt Rox with the garden hose. Good times.

Roxi's pajamas (underwear?) at the breakfast table was a bit much, IMO. Especially for a guest in someone's home.
I don't know why, may be I dreamed it, but I seem to recall she has done that at the ranch, too. Another sign of her neglected upbringing?

Rox's hair hanging down in her face made me think of Adela"s initial hairstyle we suffered thru until recently.

Thanks Kat. Was away all day and just reading through this great recap! Thanks

The outfit that Rox flitted out with was I think supposed to show she so didn't care she just walked out in her pj's and messy hair. Normally she's is almost nuts about cute outfit, hair, makeup, etc. I want to say the pj's were inappropriate, but my guess is that's what she has. Benny should loan her some oversized tee shirts at least. Did like Adela's face. I think it was " oh hell no...I'll let this go today, but...hell no".

Could Diana actually have a real soft spot now for the old coot? She seemed more upset than expected over Rey giving Vitto the "I am so un-friending you Facebook" talk. And I cheered.

Really. would they go coma. I have one better...amnesia. He won't know who Fi is.

I just made myself sick.

Daisynjay

Coma, amnesia, whatever. For sure he will be in a neck brace.

Oh please, please, please - not amnesia! I can't stand it. That would be worse than the poisoned eye drops and oh so many other plot turns. Thank god for your great recaps because I think I'd be forced to skip the show and live on recaps alone if we have to suffer through amnesia.
Ann C.

Good recap LaDiva. Thank you much. See I
Told yall pedro is no snoop. He may do some things well, snoopin ain't one of em. Ok, on to
Tonite.
Thanks again LaDiva

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

lol, doris...but will his neck brace have an ascot tied over it a la Cande?

Gracias, Daisynjay, Ann C., and Nina. As Nina said, on to tonight! I'm just about to find out what happens next. See you on the next one!
