That's the place to post info you know about upcoming tns. For example, the info Deb posted about "Eva La Trailera" on the Telemundo post last week, should also be posted on Proximas/qnc. Kat/5 Ft. would really appreciate it.

I'm sure it can also be found on cable somewhere. It looks fabulous, but as it occupies the same time slot as Bajo there's no contest. I may have to try to pick it up on YouTube in my spare time.

BAJO EL MISMO CIELO – LUNES – Parte 1 de 2

And tonight we are privileged to attend the baptism of the newest member of the happy and united family Martínez.

But before that happens we are treated to a scene of that prince of a guy Rodolfo trying to manipulate María into returning to work at the bar/restaurant. He gets in a dig about her having given up the chance for “them” to associate with a millionaire.

Jacob and Erick commiserate over their both loving a woman they can’t have. Erick gets nicer every episode. He says he can’t blame Adela for loving a great guy like Carlos.

Gracie overhears Luis telling Susy about the baptism and where it’s to be held.

Cristóbal has gotten a life insurance policy benefiting Chabela and Alex. He shows it to her, saying he wants them cared for if he isn’t there to do it. [I hope this isn’t foreshadowing.]

The officious cop guarding Colmillo comes in to tell Marlene that all nurses have to come for an emergency. She’s been forbidden to have a cell phone in his room, so she hides it under his mattress. What could possibly go wrong? He calls Jay, says he’s alive and that Jay is the only one he trusts. [I sincerely hope neither EC nor the weasel Jay are alive at the end of this novela.]

At the church we see another example of what a fine fellow Rodolfo is. María had bought a gold bracelet for the baby as a baptismal gift, but Rodolfo didn’t want her giving away gold and left it behind.

Luis hasn’t shown up at the church, and they begin without him. We see Gracie lurking at the back of the church. The baby’s godparents are Santiago and María.

After the initial prayer, Luis arrives with Rodrigo! Carlos isn’t happy about this. Rod approaches the baby and asks to hold her. Felicia gives in. He says the baby’s eyes are like his mothers’s. [OK, if this child were really the child of Carlos and Felicia, there could be no similarities to Ana, his deceased wife. But everyone keeps mentioning it, as if it were possible.] Even Luis says that the baby looks like Rodrigo, causing Felicia’s blood to run cold, I’m sure.

Luis stands up to his father saying that Rodrigo is part of the family. Felicia keeps on arguing with the priest that he shouldn’t be there. Not for the first time Padre Domingo is fed up with Felicia. He tells her this is the House of God and anyone can enter if they wish.

Rodolfo disgusts María even more by remarking, upon seeing Susy, that at least Luis knows how to take advantage of a good situation (meaning $$$)

Somehow the news of Alan’s being arrested for treating a young woman like a slave is all over the national news.

After the baptism Rodrigo kisses the baby on her head, and Gracie storms up the aisle saying the same repetitive things she always says to Rodrigo.
 

BAJO EL MISMO CIELO – LUNES – Parte 2 de 2

Gracie and Rod begin to argue. Carlos gets angry at the way Rod speaks to Gracie. Padre Domingo wisely tells them to take it outside.

Rodrigo approaches his father and asks if he’s going to keep on protecting the killer of his grandchild!

Carlos finds out Luis has been to the gang hangout to see Rodrigo and blows up. Carlos yells at Rodrigo to respect Gracie; she gave up her life for him. Rod: “Do you realize what you just said? My mother did the same for you and you let her die." Carlos grabs Rodrigo by his shirt and tells him not to even mention Ana. Rod says that his mother kept her illness secret so as not to worry his father. Why? Because he never had two cents to give them. Luis says that Carlos sold his truck to pay for her treatment. Rod shoots back that it was too late by then.

Jay sweet talks a nurse into pointing out Marlene, the nurse. [Can’t that respectable nurse recognize a thug when she sees one?] Jay follows Marlene to her locker. He breaks in and gets her address.

Gracie cryptically tells the priest that she knows what she has to do and will do it today.

Jacob, Erick and Adela confer. Jacob says that the magazine has reported before about immigration issues and has angered anti-immigrant groups and a few politicians. Adela points out that they’re not just reporting on this; they’re part of the story. She’s a friend of the victim and Erick was hurt. Adela asks what will happen if they find out she’s undocumented and was hired anyway? [Better not let Paulina know.]

Carlos tells Cristóbal he’s going to contact Gracie’s mother in México and bring her up to help with Gracie. Felicia takes Cris into her bedroom and asks him to help her get a restraining order. [In telenovelaland, you can get one sent to your cell phone; and this is what happens.] Carlos is not pleased by this.

Luis and Susy have apparently given Gracie a sedative. She’s not sedated enough to suit me. She mutters about the person she warned not having done what she was supposed to. She has one of those grey flashbacks about threatening Adela with a knife and telling her to keep both Rod and herself away from Felicia’s baby. She mutters that this person was the lover of Rodrigo. Luis asks who she’s talking about.

So we get a cliffhanger. We don’t know if Gracie passed out or if she’s going to spill the beans. [Another thing to hate Jay for. He had Sharon tell Gracie that Adela and Rodrigo were now involved.]

novelera Muchas gracias for your recap. These episodes are action-packed! And you covered it all with such apparent ease.

Cristóbal's life insurance policy from STATE FARM, was perhaps the most blatant product placement I've seen yet. Unlike various food products we've seen that were fairly comedic and laughable, this one came out of nowhere and felt like a full-on advertisement.

For a moment, I had begun to think they were going to reconcile Maria with the vile Rodolfo, but after all those displays of smarm that you so aptly described, I think even she might think she might be better off as a single mom. What was her rationale for sticking with this creep? Although strategically, as with Jacob, she would be better served if she could keep a divorce case unencumbered.

I love your "dial-a-restraining order".

And I didn't understand the scene in the magazine office when Paulina came in and clicked on a TV news broadcast about Juana's story. Did they get scooped?

 

Bajo. Excellent recap, novelera! I too wondered who spilled the beans about the Alan-Juana situation to tv news. Of course, by the time the incident was finished, a lot of the neighbors had come outside to see what was going on. With regard to Rodrigos's looking like the baby (of course, because it's his), people could explain the resemblance away if Teresa, Carlos's late wife, looked like Ana, his mother. I have noticed that it's not uncommon for guys to fall for women who look and act a bit like their mothers--that seems to be their female ideal. I loved how El Colmillo said to Yei, in flawless American English: "I'm back, dude!" And the sly, knowing look on Felicia's face when she spotted Greicy in the church was priceless! Once again, what a great actress! I feel sorry for Greicy--especially when Rodrigo pushed her in church. Of course, Adela is not Rodrigo's lover--so Greicy's about to cause a lot of trouble based on her own fantasy,

Next, thanks, Novelera. As always, you did an excellent job and filled me in on parts that I missed. Last night I had to watch very quickly fast forwarding much of it.

The main thing I took away from the big domestic slave story is that Santiago
will learn about Juana's plight from the news and not from her.

It was an interesting plot development to see Susy witnessing the family strife
played out in the church. Of course, the girl has her own family problems, so she can identify to a degree. I liked the way she wanted to help Greicy.

Very funny - your comment on the restraining order.

I agree, Erick was quite nice last night. I wonder if he still plans to fight for Adela. He did not seem ready to let go.

Bajo. And of course Felicia is guera (who knows how naturally!) and has a slightly narrow face like Rodrigo's, so that's another way a casual observer could explain away the resemblance. Floridia: I too was impressed by Susy's compassion for Greicy. That girl is growing up!

I misspoke. Teresa is Carlos' deceased wife, not Ana. Ana is his still living (in Mexico) mother. But my point still holds about Rodrigo saying the baby looks like his mother (Teresa). She probably does. But he's supposed to believe that the baby's DNA is comprised of Felicia and Carlos. Well...now that I think about it Felicia is blond, like Rod and Teresa. But Rodrigo mentioned the eyes being like his mother's. This would be illogical if the DNA were Carlos and Felicia. And no one seems to carry this to the correct conclusion.

Muchas gracias, novelera, for another stellar recap. I'm sorry these thanks are so late. I foolishly spent last night watching Monday Night Football: los Pieles Rojos de Washington contra los Vaqueros de Dallas.

One thing last night's episode seemed to signal is that Rodolfo continues to be a [choose your expletive], and Maria will be prompted and justified to be shut of him. However, since she's so moral in a conventional sort of way, believes a family should stay together for the good of the children, and puts the wellbeing of her children above all else, it will probably be a while before she decides upon a divorce [as a practicing Catholic, can she even seek a divorce?].

I think more than one character has commented on that the baby seems to have Rodrigo's eyes. I'm not sure I understand what that means. How would the baby's eyes resemble his? Color alone is not enough. Shape? To me, the concept seems a little far-fetched, especially when we're talking about a newborn baby.

I was really surprised that Greicy was standing in the back of the church for what seemed like quite a while before Felicia spotted her. I was expecting several people to see her, esp. the priest, who was facing the back of the church. We're talking about an ordinary church, not St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Floridia, good point about how Santiago is likely to learn about Juana. I hadn't thought about that. I wonder how he'll feel about her not telling him.

How did the TV news get all the details of the story about Alan and even a photo of Juana? And how did Paulina know to be watching the TV station at that time? Was that just one of those many coincidences without which a telenovela can't seem to function, or is there more to it than that?

I thought that perhaps Greicy would blurt out the truth to Carlos when they were along outside the church, but she didn't. However, as novelera has pointed out, the episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Greicy mumbling in her calmante-induced state. Will she spill what she thinks are the beans about Adela being the amante of Rodrigo? Thank goodness last night wasn't a Friday!
 

Bajo. Good observation about Paulina, Juanita. Maybe she spilled the beans to a tv station, possibly for a price? Hmmmmm. It would be a way to get rid of her.

Paulina might well have been involved, but it could possibly come from reporters who work for sensational news media who hang out at police station and/or have inside connections who can smell a story a mile away.

Last night, I thought Rodrigo was catching on to the baby switch.
He certainly could make provocative comments intentionally to smoke out the truth,
and his stare had an all-knowing look.

Here's another angle: many children who are adopted look like their adoptive parents.

Well, apparently Bajo is now in "últimas semanas." I guess that still leaves at least several more weeks, perhaps more than a month. There are all kinds of loose ends that presumably will be tied up before the novela ends: Maria and Jacob; what happens to Rodrigo, El Colmillo, Yei; the fates of Greicy and Felicia; and, of course, how Adela and Carlos move from multiple misunderstanding to Happily Ever After. (I didn't mention Luis and Susy, nor Juana and Carlos. I'm assuming the latter couple will come out OK, although Santiago was devastated in tonight's episode when he learned what had happened to Juana, and when he went to see her, he was clearly very hurt that she hadn't told him. He felt it was his responsibility to protect her, and his machismo was wounded at the notion that she didn't tell him in part to protect him (from killing or trying to kill Alan, from being arrested and deported, etc.)

Meanwhile, in tonight's episode, Carlos and Adela move even further from Happily Ever After. Greicy tells Carlos that Rodrigo was in love with Adela, that in fact Rodrigo had told Greicy that this was so. Carlos is first in denial, then he's simply taken aback, trying to fit things that Adela had said or done into this new framework. Of course, he immediately goes to confront Rodrigo, and in a fairly nasty confrontation Rodrigo admits that yes, he's in love with Adela. I was happy to see that it finally occurred to Carlos to ask Rodrigo whether Adela returns his love ("¿Adela te correspondió?"). For a response, Rodrigo gives him what I took to be a deliberately ambiguous look that could be interpreted in several different ways. He (Rodrigo) certainly doesn't specifically affirm or deny that Adela feels as he does. Presumably Carlos will now go to confront Adela. I'd like to think that she'll explain the situation truthfully, but since we've only just entered últimas semanas, I fear it won't be quite so simple.

One other possible complication in tonight's episode was Erick's telling Paulina (as part of the journalistic team) that Mati isn't really Matilda Gutierrez but rather Adela Morales and that she's undocumented. Oy! I'd be nervous even if he told this to someone who had Adela's best interests at heart, but Paulina....

And as if there weren't already more than enough problems to solve in últimas semanas, El Colmillo grabs by the neck the nurse who watches over him, has her listen on the phone to her husband (Yei has a gun to his head), and then listen as Yei shoots him. El Colmillo makes it clear that if she wants her son to live, she is to tell both El Faier and the FBI that Colmillo is still in a coma with no change. I don't have high hopes for the nurse's longevity no matter what she does.
 

Bajo. Thanks for the partial recap, Juanita! Yei's killing Marlene's husband was horrible! Hope he gets his! I think Marlene should slip a nice surgical instrument into El Colmillo's heart while he's sleeping. I was afraid Greicy would go ahead and tell Carlos her suspicions as fact--and she did! Loved the way Ramona stood up for Juana to Santiago. Both Santiago and Juana are devastated, but I hope they get back together. And as one might expect, Rudolfo is totally creepy, as well as a smirking jerk, to both Cristobal and Isabel. But at least Cristobal has finally told Felicia about Isabel--and more great facial expressions on Felicia's part! I too think it was probably not a good idea to tell Paulina so much about Adela!

wow, Luis Ernesto Franco (Rodrigo) is sure holding his own up against Gabriel Porras (Carlos) but then again Gabriel brings out the best in the other actors, even Greicy was less screechy.

why would we ever think that the Adela reveal to Paulina would ever get back to Colmillo, oh wait, Yei already knows this, yikes!

Rudolfo, a smirking jerk, I like that SpanProf.

I guess Santi didn't hear me when I was yelling, shut up and give Juanita a gentle hug.

did Rodrigo say he would give up la Colonia for ever if Adela would go away with him?

no, no, Rodrigo's only redemption is if he gets rid of the more evil guy, Colmillo, but wait, he's already done that, and now he's distracted with Adela.

Exciting TV last night. Rodrigo said he would renounce gang life for Adela.

I suspect a huge confrontation between Carlos and Adela tonight.
If Carlos does not succumb to jealousy and pride, he will listen to Adela and learn the truth. He usually senses what is right and has repeatedly said that he sees Adela's love for him in her eyes.

Rather than stomp off as did the younger Santiago, Carlos can demonstrate his maturity and belief in Adela on the spot.

Still, if an estrangement is prolonged, Carlos simply needs to talk to Maria, Juana, and Ramona, or even Erik--all of whom know that Mati (Adela) truly loves Carlos. It has all been documented.

Oh, I thought of a better job for Juana. Rather than continue to be a maid,

Floridia, I like your idea of Juana managing Carlos' business, but could she really do this when she can't read? After she learns to read, though, it's a terrific idea for her future.

I might note that I hadn't planned my earlier comment to be even a mini recap. I was just so surprised at the "últimas semanas" announcement and wanted to mention it here. But then one thing led to another....
 

Bajo. Juana could even train to be a gardener! And please, Bajo writers, do a plug for community college literacy programs!
 

Bajo. Omg! The blowing up of the hospital room was horrible! I don't suppose there was any way Marlene and the police officer could have escaped? Could that be the reason we were shown them waking up and trying to leave a few seconds before the room exploded? Probably not.
 

Just a short one. Wow. Dark, dark, very dark. [I didn’t see últimos semanas last night. Darn! I’m gonna have big time withdrawal pains when this one is over.]

Absolutely splendid acting by the whole cast tonight [with the possible exception of the Gracie actress].

Carlos asks Rodrigo if Adela loves him in return. Rod doesn’t really answer this, but goes on and on about he and Adela being alike, that he has money to offer, and tells him about burying Matías to please her. Carlos jumps at him throwing punches. This is so sad. Rodrigo’s guards eventually stop the fight, although Rod didn’t throw any punches back.

Felicia is fussing the whole episode. She’s VERY afraid of Gracie living with Carlos, that she’ll tell him whose baby it is. She also keeps wondering why he hasn’t come back to her house. [But why should he? He was staying there to help out and because she seemed to be suffering from postpartum depression. Since she’s fine with the baby now, why does he need to stay there?]

Juana is still very sad, but seems more composed. She says she’s going to church to pray.

Boy I despise Jay. He has zero sympathy for Marlene, whose husband he’s just killed and again threatens to kill her child if she doesn’t do everything EC says.

Chabela and Alex move in with Cristóbal. She hesitantly tells him she doesn’t want any secrets between them and tells him about Rodolfo forcing a kiss on her.

Susy and Luis have a nice day at the beach. [At least someone had a light moment.] He builds a sand castle for his “princess”.

María has come to Carlos’ house and Gracie tells her what she told Carlos. María is appalled. Gracie gets insulted that María didn’t tell her about seeing Rod kissing Adela. María says that “Mati” rejected Rodrigo, and she also tells her the truth: Gracie doesn’t mind hurting Carlos if she can get back at Rodrigo.

Great scene in the bar with Cristóbal and Rodolfo. He squeezes his shoulder, making him wince with pain and tells him to stay away from his woman.

Marlene drugs the cop and then Colmillo chokes him.

We have a long, sad scene with Carlos and Adela. There was too much to describe for a short recap. She tries to say she left him so he didn’t have to choose between her and his son and he blames her for not telling him what happened. He says it’s over for them and leaves.

Luis comes home having heard Gracie’s message about Carlos being in danger. She tells him Mati and Rodrigo are lovers. María tells her to shut up!

Rodolfo has taken the warning from Cristóbal, but is worried Chabela will tell María. He threatens to take Alex away if she does and Cristóbal is about to beat the tar out of him when Jacob arrives.

So poor Marlene’s husband is in the hospital room. And suddenly Mr. Low IQ Jay is a bomb expert. Please.

Jacob asks why Cris attacked him. Rodrigo, not realizing how he’s stepping in it, calls Cristóbal a traitor for having a relationship with a woman who was his. He tells Jacob that since he’s a man, he should understand that the rooster doesn’t want another rooster around his hens. The look Jacob gives him!

Luis comes to confront Rod about being after Adela. Rod tells him that he never loved a woman until Adela. Luis yells at him that Adela and his father are not together because HE came between them.

When the cop in the hospital wakes up we think maybe they’ll get away, but no. The hospital room blows up.

I love watching Gabriel Porras when he is pouring it on.

when Carlos threw Rod, I thought he was aiming for the sofa, but he went right over the top, ouch, that stunt must have hurt.

Wow! I have no words! This show is winding itself up like a spring as we near the end. But first off, thank you thank you thank you for the recaps. I missed commenting yesterday, but managed to catch up and read Juanita's summary. And first thing in the morning, novelera's "short" but perfectly succinct account of last night's drama. Both you ladies have a gift for getting the whole thing across concisely but with subtle details intact.

I guess we were all bracing for the Carlos-Adela face off, and (even though my spanish isn't up to catching all the verbiage), those two actors were sensational. It could have been just another whine-fest, but their acting brought so much pathos to the tragic situation.

"Susy and Luis have a nice day at the beach. [At least someone had a light moment.]" yes, the pacing of these scenes is so perfect. A brief ray of sunshine before the bomb goes off. Luis has really grown up before our eyes. Now that Carlos has gone off the rails, I think he's the one who can help steer things back to normal.

Rodolfo the Rooster, another great performance. And Maria, in her sulky, sultry, but substantial way, just sitting there pouring down caballitos and stewing. I love how they have cast the short little bantam against the monumental, moody Maria. I can't wait for tonight.

Jacob must be thinking how could an intelligent woman like Maria ever end up with this
pedazo de mierda. Great expression on his face, like, I think I have the edge here.

I have never figured out Rodolfo's relationship except BIL to Carlos. Is that all?

Excellent recap with all the major points, concisely outlined as usual.

Two lovers' quarrels running parallel to one another. How long will it be before Carlos makes an about face?

RE Gracie, I find her to be a lackluster character, but I always think that the
directors want her to be that way. I have sympathy for her plight though.

Jacob's look was indeed priceless! This encounter should give him even more ammunition to fight for Maria.

I suspect that El Faier will kill El Colmillo for real in the end, and it may be mutual destruction, but I hope we don't have to wait until the last episode for that.
It would be nice to see all of the couples enjoying one another and the family as a whole before they leave us.

Felicia nailed it with Maria who was offering excuses about needing a work schedule to accommodate her children. She told her that she could easily work that out with Jacob.

Loved the way Maria was nervously eating and shaking her leg at the same time.
I wish someone would spill the beans about Rudolfo. As Cristobal said, "That's what he does."

Bajo. Another excellent recap, novelera! I too enjoyed the scene between Rudolfo and Jacob. Rudolfo doesn't seem to realize that what he is describing is essentially a polygamous relationship, and Jacob can barely keep a straight face. Great acting! Another amusing scene was when Felicia figures out the real reason María quit her job. I also agree that the acting by Carlos, Adela and Rodrigo was all first rate! But I must say, Carlos certainly deserves that slap Adela gives him. That's what you get for being self-sacrificing, Hispanic ladies, rejection! Juana has some very good advice for them. She says they are both victims of Rodrigo. If I didn't know that Carlos and Adela have to have a happy ending I would be very worried. As it is, with El Colmillo on the loose, Adela, Carlos, Felicia, and Rodrigo are all in danger. And I suppose there won't be a fast enough dna check on the hospital bodies to find out that it's Marlene's husband dead on the floor (he just happens to be about the same size as EC), and not El Colmillo! I hope Isabel's worry that her happiness won't last isn't foreshadowing--especially combined with the life insurance policy.

Many thanks, Novelera, for this excellent recap. You say it's short, but it not only covered all the important points but also helped me to see several things I hadn't understood. BTW, last night I didn't see the "últimas semanas" announcement repeated, but it was definitely there the night before. Perhaps that was a mistake? Ojala. This is the first time in a long while that I'm not ready for a telenovela to end.

I was afraid that somehow Carlos and Adela weren't going to get back together again so quickly, and alas I was right. I found it interesting/irritating that Carlos berates Adela for not trusting him by telling him the truth, but when she does, he doesn't trust her. One thing I like about Telemundo novelas is their fast pace. They don't drag problems and misunderstandings out for months. I'm thus fairly confident that the relationships between Carlos and Adela and between Santiago and Juana will get back on track before too long. But perhaps not this week.

Both Luis and Susy have matured immensely over the course of this novela. Perhaps they too will live Happily Ever After?

Is there a telenovela record for the number of weddings that take place at the end? Bajo may well be in contention for the prize. I'm thinking of Carlos and Adela, Santiago and Juana, Jacob and Maria, Cristóbal and Isabel, and perhaps Luis and Susy.

Bajo, Carlos is right Adela had no right to choose for him however noble her intentions were. He is a grown man. As to not trusting her now it is too little too late after she had ample opportunities to tell him and chose not to do it. Colmillo may hurt her so I guess that could be one way for Carlos to forgive her. I had no sympathy for Adela because I always thought she made the wrong decision. Thanks for the recap.

One of the very first TN's I ever watched was La Madrastra. At the end there were five marriages all on the same day in the same location. Each couple was married on land after each traveled in a small boat under an arch of flowers. I thought it was gorgeous. I just found it on line and watched the ending again after all these years.
I still think it was the best. There may have been other characters who got together within the same time frame. I don't remember about others.

That EC might have had Jay bring poor Marlene's husband to his hospital room so that they would think he'd blown up as well when they found bits and pieces of two men. I was thinking they were going with a convenient way to get rid of a body.

I was also kind of startled to realize that Marlene's husband's corpse was going to provide a cover story for Colmillo to escape and start wreaking his vengeance on Rodrigo. It's clash of the Titans time in the gang world. Father-son conflicts take center stage now for Rodrigo.

Romy I like your point about Adela taking a wrong turn with Carlos, but I can still sympathize with her concern about bringing him more harm by confessing the truth. It puts her in parallel with Juana.

Well, I heard again tonight that Bajo is in "últimas semanas," so I guess it's really true. And Colmillo has a venganza agenda that targets almost everyone: Rodrigo, of course, Carlos, and just about everyone related to or associated with them. If Colmillo were really going to kill everyone on his agenda, the show would have to be in últimos meses.

If I heard correctly (always a big if), the one person for whom Colmillo has a different fate in mind is baby Anita.
 

FATMAGUL:

By Nett- I will catch up on this week's episodes this weekend, but as of last week Fatmagul was pressured to declare to the police that only Kerim raped her. Her sister in law kept implying to the police and others that Kerim and Fatmagul were actually lovers, and the rape story just a cover, so the police went from being supportive and concerned to somewhat cold and hostile. Now they think the "damage" has been repaired with the marriage, and that Mustafa needs to get over it and move on, because she's not worth it.

Juanita, you did hear correctly. I think EC's plan is to take Anita from Felicia. He wanted the baby all along, and now he wants also to hurt Feli.

I am beginning to think that I was right to be unhappy when Erick told Paulina "Mati's" real name and her undocumented status. Mati/Adela is certainly very upset that the TV news broadcasts identify her as Adela Morales. She wonders how they got that information, and she fears that gang members will try to kill her. Erick points out that a Google search turns up 600,000 people with that name, and no one is likely to associate a journalist (Adela's current profession) with an ex-gang member. Of course, neither he nor she knows that Colmillo is alive, free, and aware now of what she looks like (thanks to Yei's telling him that Adela has been calling herself Mati, whom Colmillo has met). Paulina doesn't know this either, but I bet it was the jealous Paulina who provided Mati's real name and undocumented status to the press as a way to "help" the press (and herself) and make trouble for Mati/Adela.

And is it purely a coincidence that it's Paulina who comes rushing in to tell everyone about the TV broadcast currently in progress?
 

Bajo. Boy, has Luis matured and gotten sensible! He's right about everything he tells Rodrigo. The only sensible thing Rodrigo says is that he's glad that Luis isn't a bit like him. Juana is helping Adela with some excellent advice, and that seems to be helping Juana too. Adela still thinks she did the right thing by breaking with Carlos. (And Carlos should be sensible enough to realize that, whether what Adela did is intrinsically right or wrong!). Felicia is actively campaigning for her, Anita and Carlos to be a family--and the self-satisfied smile on her face when Carlos hugs her is priceless! Once again, that Erika de la Rosa is the past master of facial nuance. Yet again Rudolfo is a jerk--this time embarrassing María in front of Jacob--but this time Jacob is sensible--just asks María to keep working until he can find a replacement for her and promises not to press his case or interfere at all with her working. Rodrigo has figured out El Colillo is still alive and probably planned the explosion (R IS very smart). Both he and EC are putting together their arsenals--but EC refuses to say which of his enemies he will kill first--suspense anyone? Very tense confrontation among Felicia, Willy, and Greicy in the park! And oh oh--Willy threatens to tell Carlos about Felicia's misdeeds (encouraging the murder of her husband, having sex with Willy, etc.) I actually felt sorry for Willy as he was sobbing when he found out Anita was not his daughter. And good to learn that Adela was never involved in any major crime and has Carlos' immigration lawyer on her side.

Your comments turned in to a mini summary. Yes, that was a sad scene when Willy learned the news -- so well done. All I could think of was a student's opening of a college acceptance/rejection letter. He didn't dare to open it.

Meanwhile, Sharon sits at home while Lover Yei attends to all the needs of Colmillo right down to the last detail. He really knows how to follow orders and to please.

Laughed out loud at the "Favorite Things" fried chicken and beer snack, and the funniest scene ever of him with his beret and cane and telling Yei how much he looks like a model.

I must say he has excellent self esteem.

I thought he wanted to bring Felicia to live with him, although unwillingly, in his new castle. Is there an intentional wish to harm her at this point?

And quick-thinking and excellent eyesight without her glasses, Greicy saves Anita from an accident. Remember, she also took what looked like a sucking toy.
Are we to believe that she could get DNA from this?

and Greicy now knows that Willy was probably the father of Felicia's baby.

and the people around the office are looking a little complacent about their lives being in danger as well, Colmillo could just as easily bomb that place or grab their family members.

Since Greicy knows that Anita is hers and Rodrigo's, the only reason to get dna from the rattle/pacifier would be to prove to Carlos that Anita is not his daughter but granddaughter, and that Greicy isn't crazy (which might be her primary motivation). Hmmm. Could Paulina be dating another detective at Cristóbal's precinct? Have a cousin in charge of filing arrest and witness records at the precinct? Or is it someone at the tv station who has that kind of access in order to learn Adela's name?
 

Bajo. Or maybe after she kidnaps Anita it would prove to the authorities that she is the baby's biological mother.

SpanProf, Perhaps my dislike of Paulina is clouding my judgment, but I assumed that she was the one who gave the TV folks Adela's real name (and probably her undocumented status as well). They'd be indebted to her for the info, and she'd be able to sabotage Adela, whom she sees as her rival both personally and professionally.
 

Bajo. But did the tv station have Adela's real name before of after Jacob and Erick told it to Paulina? That is the question. Could go either way. :)

I guess my assumption is that there was a reason we were shown Erick's telling Paulina. Of course, it's possible that the novela writers are toying with us. Time may tell.

ha! Colmillo told Yei to lay off the steroids, they are frying his brain.

Yei told Colmillo that Rodrigo's baby was stillborn, to which Colmillo replied, good, now he knows what I felt when I lost my daughter, if she would have lived I'd of killed her myself.

ok, the revenge goes like this,

first off he thinks Rod betrayed Willy,

"first I'm going to take it out on their siblings, their relatives, and all their loved ones, even their pets. Everyone related to Faier, everyone related to Adela Morales, and everyone connected to Felicia, will soon meet their end, their lives are going to crumble, those who challenged me are also going down, I'll make them bow to me, they'll be shedding tears of blood, for their betrayal, once that's done I'm going in for the main course, that traitor is going to find out what hell is like."

I thought the folks at Jacob's magazine had come to the conclusion that Adela's real name got on TV because she (correctly according to the lawyer) gave her real name for her official police statement. And that the journalists (at least in telenovelas) always have an inside contact at the police.

Fatmagul. Vivi thx for your observations. I couldnt tell if fatmagul knew whether or not Karim participated. Based on her trying to stab him in the hotel...she thinks Karim harmed her also.

Nett- Yes, both Fatmagul and Kerim think he participated in the rape. Both passed out by the time his "turn" was up.

Here's my thinking from my very American point of view-- As I see it, Kerim DID participate in the rape. I don't care if his conscience and/or the drugs and alcohol prevented him from penetrating her. The fact is he helped his friends detain her, and he watched as his friends raped her, and did nothing. In my mind, that makes him guilty. I don't care how many tears he sheds or how pretty his hair is. He's also incredibly stupid to take the fall for the rape alone, while his loser rich friends get off scott free.
 

Fatmagul. Vivi...I must have misunderstood. I thought when Karim saw her on the beach...he questioned her where she was going so late by herself and she told him no importa..and she kept going....and the other guys detained her after that. I will have to revisit that episode. Did his mother/aunt play a role in him taking responsibility too? I am not liking the sister in law at all. She is awful...hitting and pushing Fatmagul and bullying her. She's all about how she can capitalize off of this tragedy.

I'll try to put together a mini-recap of tonight's episode.
 

FATMAGUL:

Nett- You are thinking of two separate instances. At the end of the engagement party, Kerim stops her and speaks to her briefly. Mustafa, who is there to pick her up, spots them together. Very early just before dawn Mustafa is leaving on his fishing boat and Fatmagul decides to run down to the shore to see him off. Before she gets there, Kerim and his friends spot her and stop her. In fact, Kerim is the first to grab her and she bite his arm, leaving a mark, which later becomes like a scarlet letter between them. The friends end up gagging her (with Mustafa's bandana) and rape her one by one. Kerim is the last up, but both of them black out. We only learn this because one of the "friends" was paying attention, while the other two were doing there own thing, and saw Kerim go to Fatma, stare at her, hover over her, and then pass out.
 

BAJO EL MISMO CIELO - VIERNES - PARTE 1

In tonight's episode, we see El Colmillo begin his venganza. He and Yei sit in a car watching Willy and Sharon in front of their house/apartment. Yei says that Willy deserves to die, but not Sharon. El Colmillo tells him that Faier betrayed him because of Adela Morales. Yei assures him that he won't betray him. Colmillo tells him that he wants proof, and that Yei knows what it is.

Soon after Sharon and Willy go into the house, El Colmillo and Yei enter. El Colmillo tells Willy that he has betrayed him, and he will be the first to die. EC starts beating Willy up. Sharon tries to plead with EC on her brother's behalf, but in telling him that whatever Willy did he did out of love for Felicia, she only makes things worse. EC tells Yei to prove his loyalty. Yei takes out a pistol, Sharon starts to run, and Yei very reluctantly shoots her in the back. EC then returns to beating Willy and berating him for loving Felicia. He tells Willy that Felicia never loved him, she just used him. He then takes a small sword out of the cane he was carrying and kills Willy with the sword. Yei finds EC's actions horrifying, but so far he remains loyal to EC. However, he notices some motion in Sharon's fingers, and when EC goes into another room, Yei goes over to where Sharon lies and cradles her in his arms.
Although he does seem to care for her, I'm pretty sure Yei and Sharon will not be one of the couples living Happily Ever After at the end of the novela. Indeed, my guess is that neither of them will be living at all.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo, Gacho, and the leader of a rival gang (I think the one with whom La Colonia has made peace) are meeting together at Rodrigo's request. Rodrigo tells the rival gang leader (known to us from now on as RGL) that although Rodrigo shot El Colmillo, he didn't die. He's been in a coma in a hospital, watched by the FBI. The room where he was being held was destroyed yesterday by a bomb, Rodrigo tells RGL. Well, then EC is dead, right? That's not clear, said Rodrigo. He could have arranged for the bomb and escaped, a strategy similar to the one he used when he and Rodrigo escaped from prison. RGL is becoming more concerned, since if El Colmillo is alive, he will come after RGL because RGL betrayed him. "That's why I'm telling you this," says Rodrigo. They have to plan a strategy for dealing with EC if indeed he is alive.

The rest of La Colonia is busy packing up something, I'm not sure what. Some people wonder why Faier and Gacho aren't there. I suspect that their absence will soon seem even more suspicious to the gang, since the police raid the place where the gang is working.

The rest of tonight's episode focuses on Greicy and on Adela. Greicy realizes that everyone thinks she is crazy, and she feels finally that she can't continue to be quiet about what happened. When she finds herself alone with Maria, she tells Maria that Anita is her daughter. Maria, not surprisingly, takes this as another sign of Greicy's mental illness, or at least of severe post-partum depression. Maria goes to Felicia's house and tells Carlos and Felicia what Greicy has said. Carlos tells Maria that he spoke with Greicy's mother, and the mother said that Greicy had told her she would soon be coming to Mexico with her daughter, her mother's nieta. She said nothing to her mother about the baby's being born dead. Felicia becomes even more insistent in her claim that Greicy is totally nuts and should be institutionalized. Maria too thinks that Greicy's statement to her mother is more evidence of mental instability. Carlos is mostly very puzzled. He doesn't understand Greicy's obsession with Felicia's baby, but feels that in some ways, Greicy seems normal, not crazy. He cites as an example Greicy's claim that Rodrigo is in love with Adela. That seemed crazy at first, but in fact Rodrigo confirmed that it was true.
 

BAJO EL MISMO CIELO - VIERNES - PARTE 2

The other major focus of tonight's episode is on Adela. Jacob's magazine, National Look, has scheduled a news conference to talk about the rescue of Juana by two members of the magazine's staff, Adela and Erick. Juana doesn't want to speak at the conference. She doesn't want her family to learn about her experience. She also feels guilty that she'll be calling more attention to Adela's undocumented state and could be responsible for Adela's being deported.
Finally, after much encouragement from Adela, she agrees to speak if Adela is by her side. Juana and Ramona go with Paulina, but Erick asks Adela to stay for a minute. Well, more than a minute. He talks with her about the danger of deportation, and asks her what she'd do if she were deported. Could she find a position nearly as good as the one she has at National Look? Does she have family and friends in Mexico? He has a solution to her immigration problem: she should marry him! "But I don't love you," protests Adela. Erick replies that he's trying to help her and is asking nothing in return (nothing except getting married to someone she doesn't love). Ramona has overheard the conversation and she too urges Adela to marry Erick. Erick urges her to do it for Jacob (to save the magazine from charges of hiring indocumentados), do it for Juana, do it for him: "if the magazine goes under," he says, "I'll die. It's my life!" (How could she possibly resist such a loving proposal?)

As far as we know, Adela doesn't agree to Erick's passionate proposal. The two of them go to the news conference, where a rival journalist is accusing Jacob of hiring undocumented workers. Juana finally speaks up and says that the rival journalist has been accusing "the woman who saved my life." She goes on to speak quite forcefully about her experience, why she didn't just leave, how she now feels soiled and unworthy of the man she loved. She also advises women who find themselves in a situation similar to hers to ask for help and to run.
Erick then steps to the microphone to praise and defend Adela and announces that because she is such a wonderful person he has decided to marry her.

Susy has been watching the news conference on TV, and when Mati is introduced as Adela Morales, she immediately calls Luis, asks him whether he knows that Mati is Adela Morales, and tells him to turn on the TV. He does so, and he and Santiago tune in in time to hear Juana talk about being unworthy of the man she loved. Luis, in turn, calls Carlos and tells him to turn on the TV. There is apparently only one television channel in Los Angeles, so as soon as people turn on their set, they see the news conference. Carlos turns on in time to hear Erick announce that he has decided to marry Adela. The look on Carlos' face is amazing. I wonder how long Gabriel Porras had to practice to achieve a look that is simultaneously stunned, devastated, and empty. It's on that look that the episode ends.

Bajo. Excellent recap, Juanita! Yep, wonderful acting on Gabriel Porras' part! And that scene where Yei shoots Sharon and El Colmillo stabs Willy to death is absolutely horrific! If Yei had had half an ounce of sense, when EC ordered him to shoot Sharon, he'd have shot EC instead. What kind of a robot is Yei? Is it the steroids?

Thanks, deb and SpanProf. SpanProf, I too wondered why Yei didn't shoot Colmillo instead of Sharon. I think he realized even in the car what "proof" of loyalty Colmillo was going to demand. I bet that in hindsight, he regrets his decision to be loyal. But I doubt he'll be the one to take down Colmillo. Perhaps the reverse.

Thank you so much Juanita. Great recap, particularly since my signal cut out at the critical moment last night, so I wasn't clear what transpired between Erick and Mati in those desperate moments before they went onstage. Boy, talk about entre la espada y la pared.

Yikes, El Comillo is on a tear. I had to shut my eyes when the dagger came unsheathed. And Yei did what was expected, but what did we expect? The guy has no moral center, although I read some expressions of resigned remorse when he pulled the trigger on the pathetic, hapless Sharon.

And talk about acting, Gabe gave it all in that last scene as you and others have already commented.
 

Bajo. Otoh, I was surprised at how professionally and even decently Paulina behaved in the press conference preliminaries and during the press conference. Has she changed her ways? Is moved by Juana's plight? Or just likes press conferences?
 

Fatmagul: Vivi, Kerim is guilty int he eyes of the law also because he participated by stopping her and not rendering aid to her even though he was drunk and high. Kerim is a sweetheart but he wanted his "friends" admiration so he did things he knew were wrong. I can not watch the original first episode, too horrible, poor Fatma. Telemundo cut it so their version is not so bad. Mukkades is from hell she is not human.
Bajo: I knew a marriage was in the works as soon as I heard about the press conference. Erick will demand his marital privilege, just watch. I don't trust him not to blackmail Adela with you want the papers then be a "real" wife to me. Carlos did look destroyed. Felicia's world is hanging on a thread now between EC and Greicy
 

Bajo. It was about time the police raided La Colonia headquarters! For one thing, the building sticks out like a sore thumb and for another, they're up to such obviously illegal activities--they seem to use headquarters to pack and ship drugs, for instance.
 

FATMAGUL:
For the three of us watching Fatmagul, and whoever might catch a glimpse of it from time to time, here is a rundown of the main plot points and characters so far.

The Female Protagonist:
Fatmagul- Sweet, humble and innocent when our story starts. Her parents died when she was young, and she lives with her sweet, simpleton big brother Rahmi, his evil wife Mukaddes, and their young son. She is in love with her fisherman fiancé Mustafa, with nothing but happy dreams of marrying him, moving into their nearly finished house, and starting their life together. Her dreams and life are shattered when she’s gang raped, abandoned by her fiancé, bullied by her sister-in-law into making a false statement about the rape, pressured to marry one of the men she believes raped her (Kerim), and moved from her coastal village to Istanbul with him and her family.
Fatmagul is victimized and traumatized, but we are starting to see more of a strong streak in her as she talks back to her evil sister in law, tells Kerim off, and even tries to stab him as he sleeps, and throws a hammer at his head (atta girl!). I hope to see more of that spitfire Fatmagul. Neither Fatmagul nor Rahmi know that Mukaddes was paid by the rapists’ families (mainly the Yasaran Family) to help engineer the marriage between Fatmagul and Kerim and their exit from the town. She is also plotting with them to steal the profits from the sale of her husband’s house, goat milk business, and the lands he co-owns with Fatmagul.

The Male Protagonist:
Kerim- I can’t call him a hero or even a galan. Kerim is a follower, weak, and maddeningly naive. His best trait so far is that he’s handsome and has great hair. He lives with his adopted mother, Meryem (aka Ebe Nine), the village medicine woman. He doesn’t know who/where his father is, and his mother committed suicide when he was a boy. He seems to have an education, works with his mentor in an ironworks and, against his mother’s advice, hangs out with his no-good rich-boy friends whenever they come back to their family vacation homes in the coastal town. This leads to the fateful night when he gets drunk and high with these three friends, they encounter Fatmagul, and he helps his friends detain her and does nothing as they rape her one by one. When his turn comes up, he blacks out. In his heart he can’t believe he raped her too but, not remembering what happened, he has to accept that he did.
His three rich friends and their families, circle the wagons and convince him that it would be better for all of them if he took the sole blame and married the girl to repair the damage. They give him a big wad of cash that he reluctantly accepts, and promise him help and support in reestablishing himself wherever he wants, including another country. Like a dummy, he accepts, and somehow thinks these guys are still his friends, though he’s starting to see this isn’t the case. He also seems to have an awfully short amount of patience for surly Fatmagul, when he knows the girl is traumatized by the gang rape, and can’t be thrilled to be married to one of her rapists. Suck it up, Kerim!

 

FATMAGUL:

The Fiancé:
Mustafa- Fatmagul’s fiancé, until the rape. A seemingly sweet fisherman, with eyes the color of the sea. Though we saw his jealous streak early on, we have also started to see that he is also both volatile and calculating. His first fail as a galan came when his first thoughts were for himself and his honor, and not Fatmagul, after the rape. His second fail is when he goes to Fatmagul in the hospital after the rape, and instead of comforting the poor traumatized girl, he screams at her and shakes her and demands to know why she is keeping quiet about who did this to her. His third fail is when he starts to believe the nasty gossip that Fatmagul was actually having a thing with Kerim, and the rape just a cover. Three strikes, you’re out! He is able to both believe that Fatmagul was raped by the four guys, AND that she was Kerim’s lover, and so he goes on a quest for revenge against them all. He manages to cut a deal with the Yasaran family (if he quits making a stink about their sons being rapists), and gets a job in their company in Istanbul. This is where he plans to get his revenge, starting with Kerim and Fatmagul, whom he threatens with murder. Yeah, he lost a lot of points with me, but at least he’s being proactive, unlike Kerim who just waits around to take orders from other people.

The Rapists and Their Families:
Two of the three rapists are first cousins—Selim Yasaran (who is getting married to Meltem) and Erdogan Yasaran. Selim is a party boy whose biggest value to the family is his upcoming marriage to Meltem, whose family is rich and powerful. It was during the celebrations of his engagement when the rape took place. Selim’s father, Resat, is the head of the Yasaran family and business. He is ruthless and calculating, and a shrewd businessman. His nephew, Erdogan, is more like him in both looks and temperament. For this reason the two are always at odds, as Resat can sense that Erdogan is just itching to overthrow him. They also have the same taste in women, as Erdogan is trying to woo Resat’s mistress. Erdogan’s father is Resat’s brother, Rifat. Resat is married to Perihan (the only of the rich parents who seems to have a real moral problem with the rape cover-up), and it appears much of his money actually came from her. Perihan’s brother is the family advisor and lawyer—the Machiavellian Munir. Munir is the wheeler and dealer behind the whole rape cover-up. He knows how to find, use, and manipulate people’s weaknesses.

Vural Namli is the third rich-boy rapist, and their weakest link. He is the only one who saw Kerim pass out and not rape Fatmagul. He tells the other two the truth, but lies to Kerim and tells him he raped Fatmagul too. His conscience is giving him no peace, however, and he is trying to numb his guilt with alcohol. He has just been accepted into a Masters program at Cambridge in England, and so the others are just trying to keep him under control and quiet long enough for him to leave the country. His father is wealthy businessman Semsi, and his mother is Leman, who is having an affair with Munir.

 

Fatmagul. Vivi...thx...I watched the first 4 episodes again online because Comcast took them down from On Demand. That scene at the beach was so hard to watch and seemed long and drawn out. I know that Fatmigul and Karim are suppose to end up together but I don't see how she can over come the fact he stood by and let what happened to her happen....and then fall in love with him. Karim saw what was going on before he passed out...he could have intervene.

Beyond the ugly story line...this is one of the most scenic novelas I've watched. I think the backgrounds...beyond the run down boat house they live in...is beautiful. It makes me want to visit Istanbul and Turkey in general.

Romy- Yeah, I fast forwarded through the rape scenes and most of the flashback of it. I also fast forward through as many of Mukkades' scenes as I can. She is vile and hateful. Every time she opens her mouth to say something insulting to Fatma, I want to stab her.

Nett- I agree with you about the scenery, and I hope we haven't seen the last of the coastal village. It is so gorgeous. Istanbul is pretty spectacular too. I hope you do get to Turkey. It's one of my favorite places I've ever visited.

Don't really have time for much more than a grateful thanks to Juanita for the fine recap. I'm off to an afternoon birthday celebration for two old friends. Being the master procrastinator that I am, I just now got a couple of birthday cards and the type of quirky, not very expensive gifts this group of friends gets each other.

Yep, Adela did not agree to marry Erick, but he announced it on TV! I don't think it will happen because then he'd have to die for Adela and Carlos to end up together. Few folks in TNs get divorced.

Jay is just a complete dunce. And they've never adequately explained his animus toward Adela. She was the first person he wanted EC to take out. There was just a tiny hint that he wanted to jump her bones in the "initiation" that she refused to have be a sexual one. I simply can't believe he passed up the chance to kill EC and shot Sharon instead.
 

FATMAGUL:

Language lesson: Meryem is called Ebe Nine by everyone.
Ebe= wise woman, midwife
Nine= old, grandmother

Fatmagul: Vivi is this your first time viewing it? I watched it when it aired in Turkey 2008-2010. I learned a bit of Turkish after watching it. Yes, the scenery is lovely and Turkey is on my bucket list. I have met Engin Akyurek. I love him. Mustafa is a man of his culture so he reacts like expected. In many cultures, even in the West, rape victims are sometimes blamed for their rapes. Lol, trust me Vivi Mukaddes has not an inch of humanity in her. I loathe the air she breathes.

Romy- Yes, this is my first time watching this tale. Engin/Kerim is very nice to look at. How wonderful that you met him! Where?

I'm sure all of these guys are men of their culture. Still doesn't mean I can like or respect any of them (yet). I need my heroes to be more heroic, my galans to be more gallant. No one is winning in those categories yet.

Just finished watching my recordings from this past week. The biggest event was Vural finally revealing to Kerim that he didn't rape Fatmagul. Then Kerim tries to drill this into Fatma's head by forcibly taking her out to the middle of the river in a boat. He even admits that the fact that he just stood aside and let his friends rape her makes him guilty and that he doesn't deserve forgiveness. But then he seems to get frustrated when Fatmagul refuses to believe him, spits at him, and tells him to go to hell. Atta girl! :)

After Vural makes this reveal and the other two bozos show up, the four idiots (idiot Kerim included) get arrested when they all get into a car with Vural to convince him not to go to the cops with the truth. Traffic cops stop them and take them all into custody when they find drugs on Vural. Vural and Erdogan end up cooling their heels in jail for a few days, until Munir pays off a patsy to take the blame for the drugs. The only important significance I can see from this whole affair is that all four had blood taken from them when they were taken into custody to test for drugs. They all four now have bio samples on file with the police, that can eventually be DNA cross checked with the semen samples the hospital got from Fatmagul when she was first brought it after the raape. I really hope the writers don't drop the ball on this plot point.

In other news, Mustafa's got a gun now. And he's befriended a high class call girl (the irony). The Yasaran are about to send him to Russia for work, but really to literally and figuratively cool him off. Kerim is also continuing with his plans to leave and go overseas. The final scene of the week has the two of them coming face to face in the passports/visas office. Duhn, duhn, duhn!

Juanita, wonderfully written recap with all the important points, and your description of the look on Carlos's face described it perfectly: "simultaneously stunned, devastated, and empty. It's on that look that the episode ends."

Jay's jealously of El Faier and his need for EC's approval plus his desire for revenge
on Adela all played into the shooting. I agree that scene was horrific!
I was shocked that Sharon was still alive. Perhaps the bullets missed her vital organs. She did demonstrate compassion to her brother and Greicy. She has had a miserable life. It would nice to see her rehabilitated living among good people at the end.

One thing not mentioned was Greicy's visit to the police station to see Cristobal who was on a dangerous mission...which is another cause of concern for his life after giving Isabel the life insurance policy, but I hope that is just one of the writers' ploys.

Why is Greicy there? Is she going to tell the truth about being kidnapped? That could get Rodrigo off the streets for awhile.


I have no idea what is going to happen with Adela; she has made noble decisions and stuck to her ideals many times...so we shall see.

Carlos is very confused right now. If he could talk to Adela, she might figure out
that Greicy is telling the truth and also understand why.

I'm not really sure why Greicy went to the police station. It's a good question. Since she apparently wanted to speak specifically to Cristóbal, my guess is that she may have wanted to let him know what she'd seen and overheard of the conversation between Felicia (who is, after all, his sister) and Willy. But I'm not really sure.
 

Fatmagul: Vivi, Engin was in NY for the International Emmy awards on 11/23/15 so I went to the ceremony just to meet him and I did twice. Enjoy the show Vivi, it was 79 episodes 2 hour long when it aired in Turkey but since Telemundo is cutting who knows how long this airing will be. I will enjoy your fresh view point and insight into the characters and their actions. Do you know Meryem still does not know 4 guys were involved in the rape?
