Muchacha Italian Viene a Casarse #107 1-27-16 She's ALIVE!!! or Assvaldo becomes Osvaldo?

Ciao a tutti!  Well, this was another vegematic episode:  We were hurled and jerked from scene to scene, between day and night.  Jeezopete!  Hopefully, this summary and your always astute, witty and piercing commentary will help us piece this puppy together.  Andiamo!

Of course Assvaldo didn't shoot our beloved (well, by most of us anyway) Fiorella so lets get some other bits and pieces out of the way first!

Diana is arrested for suspicion of murder.  The gun she accidentally shot Vitto with was used to commit a murder.  Vitto gets Adela and Rey to keep Betito while he tries to help Diana.

Gianna has a bad tachycardia attack and Roxi helps to calm her.

Apparently Katia has been sniffing around Gael and Benni.  Roxi tells the skank off but she barely seems affected.  Skank probably has this kind of confrontation with wives and girl friends at least twice per week.  Although when Fiorella was missing Gael was all lovey-dovey huggy comfort, by the end of the episode Gianna is talking to Roxi about wanting to make up with Gael!  Gael and Gianna are invited to a fancy restaurant for a dinner with Katia and Augustin.  Gianna frets and suspects Katia will show up at the dinner half naked and fawning all over Gael.

A guy, is it the Private Investigator, I'm confused.  Anyway, he tells Julieta and Santino that the name of their daughter's adoptive father is "Bianchi."  Julieta and Santino are thrilled and declare that they are that much closer to finding their daughter but no bells go off!  Are there that many Bianchis in the world?  I guess so.  So no bells of that type go off but Santino tries to ring another type of bell.  He tells her how beautiful she is and he hopes their daughter looks like her, not him.  Julieta says he shouldn't say that because he is handsome and brave and persisted in looking for their daughter even though they are not together.  He asks her for another chance and pulls her in for a kiss which she returns with enthusiasm. . .

. . .and the next time we see them they're on the bed and a bare-chested Santino is about to shift gears when Julieta derails the love train. . .eeeerrrrrrk!  She jumps off the bed!  She can't do this.  She's flashing back to the last time she thought she was getting down with Santino and it turned out to be Sergio.  Julieta seeks shelter in that oft-used refuge of confusion:  she still loves Sergio but she loves Santino too!  Giving in to desire now will only make her feel badly and more confused.  The buff Santino is blocked!

The big action is Fiorella being held hostage by Assvaldo in an undisclosed location which is apparently close to the Rancho as he zips back and forth between the two venues with ease.  In the hours prior to the resolution of this terrible crisis Pedro goes ballistic demanding to talk to the Police Chief.  Eloisa reassures him Dante is taking care of overseeing the investigation but Pedro manages to call the Police Department anyway and finds out there IS NO INVESTIGATION!  Pedro collars Dante and barks in his face a bullseye accusation:  "What do you have to do with the disappearance of Fiorella?  What are you hiding?"  Eloisa calls Pedro off Dante, claiming he is loyal and would NEVER betray them and we hear Dante's lame excuse.  Because of the family's insistence on absolute discretion, the Police were instructed to say there was no investigation.  Pedro is not convinced and asks, through clenched jaw and gritted teeth, "who is the person you made the report to?"   I never saw Dante's answer, did you?

How does our Fiorella escape from certain death?  Fiorella sees Osvaldo's hand.  There was a scene yesterday when he smacked a wall and cut his knuckles.  She saw him and expressed concern for his emotional state.  She knows her captor is Assvaldo and during one of his many absences from the scene of the scheduled slaughter, she manages to wiggle out of her blindfold and confirms that it is him when he returns.  Freddie coaches the hesitant hit man via phone and text to "Matala ya!"  (Kill her, already!) and Fiorella picks up on his stress and tension.  She asks him not to kill her:  he will end up in prison.  Let her go, if not for himself, then for Sonia.  Yes, Sonia is pregnant, she is NOT.  He doesn't believe it, puts Fiorella's gag back on, goes to call Sonia, who confirms it.

Ass goes back to where Fiorella is held, unties her gag and rope and gives her some food.  Fiorella offers him some of the food.  He's got to take care of himself so he can take care of his baby.

Suddenly Pedro is outside the hotel room with a Swat Team!  Damn, Pedro's good!  My man keeps a frickin' Swat Team in his back pocket or something!

Alina, take notes.  Assvaldo begins to talk to Fiorella about how demanding his father was.  Assvaldo always had to be the best.  Then Fiorella  deftly goes for his emotional jugular:  "Are you willing to make your child suffer the same thing you did, being brought up with hate?  If you teach your child that he's got to be the one to get the lion's share of the inheritance, then you're bringing him up just like you were."  Ass says he just wants the best for his child.  "Is killing me the best?  Your wife loves you and has gone through a lot with you and it's not because of your money.  She wants to start something new with you and you have the chance to bring your baby up with love and not hate."

After all that, he says he has to kill her anyway because she will turn him in.  The sweet and silver-tongued Fiorella gives her word that she will not tell on him.  She swears by Saint Biagio.  Ass doesn't believe her.  "You have to believe me because I don't want your child to grow up knowing his father is in jail.  I know you're not a murderer.."  Ass says he doesn't want to be like this.  "Then don't.  You can do so much to change."

Ass stands up from where he had been kneeling during this earnest exchange.  He hopes he isn't making a mistake.  Fiorella continues to lay it on thick about his child being proud of what he's doing, and that she is proud; her understanding of the pain in his life.  He unties her.  She thanks him tearfully and reaffirms her promise not to tell AND THEN THE SWAT TEAM BURSTS IN and take down the Ass!

Long story short, Fiorella claims that Osvaldo rescued her!  She couldn't see who kidnapped her because she was blindfolded and suddenly Osvaldo appeared.  Pedro ends up thanking Osvaldo with a lump in his throat, a tearful gaze and a firm handshake.   Why didn't she call Pedro, he asks.  "Um, er, my hands were tied and I just dialed the first number that came up."  To Osvaldo, why didn't he tell Pedro he knew where Fiorella was.  "Um, er, I thought it was a trap and I didn't want to put you or the rest of the family at risk."  Man!  That's three times today folk have looked Pedro squarely in the eye while they told him a bald-faced lie!

Back at the house there is much hugging and kissing of Fiorella with Freddie throwing hostile, provocative barbs.  At the dinner table the kidnapping is all the talk but Fiorella deflects it somewhat nervously:  what matters is that she's safe.  Osvaldo announces the pregnancy and Sonia is so shocked she has to leave the table.  She and Osvaldo talk in the hallway.  She can't believe he announced it and she is touched.  He congratulates her on the pregnancy and swears he will take care of her:  from now on things will be different.  Fiorella comes out with their champaigne and invite them to come back to toast, cautioning Sonia to just sip a wee bit.  They all go back and Eloisa proposes a toast.  Everyone stands and Pedro adds that the baby will bring much needed hope and happiness to the Angeles home.  Everyone toasts except Freddie who remains seated, scowling.

Kissy face bedroom scene where Pedro tries to gingerly ask Fiorella more details about the kidnapping.  He takes her nervousness to be stress over the horrendous affair and apologizes.  Kisses and pledges to love and protect her always. . .smack.. . .smack. . . .smack!  Phew, that was close!

Freddie is pissed at Osvaldo and tries to jack him up and find out what Fiorella knows when Sonia enters their bedroom.  Osvaldo explains away a part of the conversation Sonia heard and they both declare that the only thing that matters is her pregnancy.  Freddie suggests they get a paternity test.  Sonia is unfazed and tells Freddie to take her poison elsewhere or, better yet, go consult her cards to see if she can find out if anyone will ever love her.  They both put her out of their bedroom.

Quickie scene of Lawyer Robles leaving the study where he was meeting with Eloisa, Pedro and Fiorella.  Eloisa vows that they have to beat Freddie.  She asks for the company by laws so she can review them before the board meeting.  Fiorella sings the praises of the strong and stalwart Grande Signora, Eloisa!

Lastly, Osvaldo asks Fiorella to stop a moment as she descends the stairs.  She tells him that Dr. Elizalde is coming to check on Gianna.  He asks if Gianna is okay.  Fiorella notes that it's strange for him to ask about Gianna.  Osvaldo thanks her for what she did and says he knows that he has treated her and Gianna badly.  She stops him with a statement of generous forgetfulness.  "What are you talking about?  I don't know anything."  Freddie walks up just then and confronts them.  "Don't know anything about what?"

Hey!  Wait a minute!  Yesterday's show ended with Freddie hearing Alina drop a juicy tidbit about somebody killing Gabriel and we didn't even get to see what became of that!  Sheesh!

There ya go, have at it.  Please correct, expand, explain anything I've missed!

Thank you Lila for the recap and yes this was another horribly editing of episodes 149 and 150 but I will try to inform you from the missed things. For now I will post from episode 149 because I havent seen episode 150 complete but I am sure that they cut from it too.

Episode 149 edited scenes

Federica is all crazy wanting Pilar to tell her the truth about what he heard. Alina tried to calm Freddie saying that Pilar most of the time says inconsistent things.
A sweet scene of Sonia talking with Helloisa about how hard can be to be in charge of a family.
A scene of Assvaldo with Federica telling her that there is no reason to kill Fiorella since the one who is pregnant is Sonia and his son is going to be the heir. Federica tells him then to think in his son because if he doesnt kill fiorella, he is going to end up in jail and his son will only receive the crumbs.
A scene of Ass and Fiorella after he received the text of federica in his cell phone ordering him to kill her. Fiorella realizes that he thougt that she was pregnant and that he wanted to kill her because he was afraid that Pietro and she would have the Angeles heir. She tells him that he is a monster, a baby killer. Ass gets mad and again gets his gun and tells her to shut up.

LILA---Wonderful, just a wonderful recap! You were in fine form tonight (and when are you not?)--thank you! I stepped away during the commercial and missed the part explaining how Pedro found out where Fi was, but it sounds like they didn't really explain that. I'm afraid they are faking us out with a faux-redemption of Oswaldo so we will feel really bad when he dies. No spoiler, just a guess based on bitter experience. But it was sweet to see him letting a little bit of light into his heart.

Oh and I also missed the shirtless Santino, drat it all!

Marla, that you for your fill-in that helps explain the aggressive editing. Always much appreciated.

Cheers all,
J in Oregon

Marla--make that "thank you"!

Continuation

The scene of Ass talking with Fiorella about his life was longer, it lasted 8 minutes. It started with Ass denying that he is a monster and saying that he doesnt like to be that way but he was raised hating his brother for not beng strong and hating pietro because his grandfather always marked differences between them. He said that everybody made him feel inferior to Pietro, that he didnt want to hate him and neither have an inheritance. Really good and recommended scene, it can break your heart.

A scene of Pietro calling Fiorella to her cell phone but she couldnt take his call and was all desperate (Ass was confirming Sonias pregnancy so she was alone but tied) Sergio tells Pietro that a police arrived.

Skankia looking up for Gianna and Gael and Benito tells her that Gianna had a taquicardia because Fiorella is disappeared. Skankia offers her help to Gianna and fakes being worried. Gael believes in her but Gianna no.
Skankia plays the victim role with Benito and ends up kissing him while Roxana watchs them (oh but I dont remember if the scene was from episode 149 or 150)

A scene of Gael telling Rox that Gianna is probably going to need a heart transplant.

Scene of Dante telling Freddie that he is gonna put the police report to calm Pedro. Freddie tells him that Pilar said that her dad was killed but Dante tries to convince her that Pilar is crazy.

From episode 150, I know they cut a confrontation of Ass with Freddie and Dante because he found just in time before the police the camera that they put to incriminate him. Stupid Dante put a similar camera to those that Ass had installed in Acorp so Ass pushes a button of that camera and an alarm sounds on Dantes cellphone . Ass forces Dante to give it to him or he will tell grandma everything. He throws the phone to the floor and destroys it with his foot and threatens Freddie of killing her if she says something about him being involved in Fiorellas kidnapping.

Tag team recapping. I love it. As always, wonderful Lila and thanks Marla for the numerous scenes we missed. Felt the weird flow last night, but didn't realize they are really doing a number on these last episodes.

For the first time ever, I actually watched a scene with Asshat ( gee, I can't call him that now) and was interested. So Fi saves the day, and his neck, and it was a little thick, but for the most part well done for those two.

Speaking of thick, poor Petey. He really does not have the people radar does he? Poor sweet gullible guy. You would think a CEO would have a better ability to read people and know when he's being lied to. But it keeps him in his happy place, so whatever.

Dante's days are soooo numbered, and J in Oregon, I'm actually right there with you on Ass too. I kept having this vibe that all the sweetness with Sonia and getting a chance to redeem himself is a red herring. Freddie is not going to like the betrayal, nor does it seem she want to see ANY heir coming forward. Here's a thought...he's suddenly concerned and sorry for his treatment of Gia? Could HE be our heart donor after getting taken down? Now that would be a full circle...hatred to giving his heart?

They have GOT to make Skankia go away. All I see her good for is to blow the lid on Gael's parentage. Otherwise, she's a pain and her scenes unnecessary. Though I did enjoy Rox hanging on Benny, and than giving him a good smack when Skankia left the room.
Santino shirtless...thank you. But heaven help me, I get the feeling they are pushing Julietta back to Sergio. Just no.

Daisynjay

Awesome Lila.

"about to shift gears when Julieta derails the love train. . .eeeerrrrrrk!"

and, thank you Marla. Makes more sense will your fills

I know Fifi is a saint and all but I can't buy her talking the Ass out of Assvaldo

The folks writing and producing this thing aren't even trying anymore

Marla Buongiorno e Mille grazie! You said it! A horrible editing indeed! Thank you for the deleted scenes. I know it makes no sense to fuss but some of the scenes help to flesh out and validate when the character evolves and changes. Gosh, they make me sick!

Grazie, Marla!

Lila - thank you for the recap and the laffs! It was a fun read and definitely more fun than the epiosde.
My favorite lines --- "...and the next time we see them they're on the bed and a bare-chested Santino is about to shift gears when Julieta derails the love train. . .eeeerrrrrrk"]
and
"My man keeps a frickin' Swat Team in his back pocket or something!"

All I could think of, the whole day, night, and next day that Fiorella was tied up in that chair, was --- "did she ever get a bathroom break???" She got lunch, but never a potty break.

That hotel or apartment building where Fi was held captive must be one block over from el rancho Los Angeles. Either that, or Osvaldo teletransports at warp speed.

Apparently Julieta does not know Fiorella's last name. Just "Fi the employee".....

So maybe Assvaldo has a smidgen of his mother's DNA, after all? For a moment there, I thought he might shoot himself in front of Saint Fiorella and emotionally scar her for life.

Seriously.....Fiorella is good beyond good. Do little birds, bunnies and butterflies (a la Disney) help dress her every day? Gah.

There was a look on Roxy's face that made me think she might help Gianna with a make-over before she goes to the fancy-schmancy restaurant..... and yet another step toward the taming of the shrew.

Marla - Thank you !!! for filling us in with the deleted scenes.

Buongiorno e grazie tantissimo, J in Oregon! J, the whole episode was as if one had stepped out every five minutes! It was a mess! Yah, the Swat Team just frickin' popped up out of nowhere!

By Giorgio, you may be on to something here:

I'm afraid they are faking us out with a faux-redemption of Oswaldo so we will feel really bad when he dies.

J, I know he's been a major ASS through this whole thing and this "littlle bit of light into his heart" is more to showcase the wonderful giver of love and light that Fiorella is supposed to be but yah, you could be right!

Oh yah, baby, shirtless Santino was ALL THAT! You see, any whippersnappers out there, it ain't over after 30! HA! Though, my man lost some cool points for pressing his suit so soon. Oh well, nobody's perfect!

Lila- Thanks so much for making sense of this mash. Marla- Thanks for the fill ins.

Osvaldo not being an ass should be interesting to see.

I'm glad Uni kept in Santino's shirtless scene. Now, can we have one of Augustine too? :)

I couldn't believe it when Eloisa vouched for Dante to Pedro. Security has been a failure under this man. There's more than enough reason to suspect he might actually be engineering some of these issues.

Gosh, Marla. They hacked the heck out of this, didn't they? Thanks, again!

Buongiorno e grazie tantissimo Daisynjay!

Thou speakest truth:

You would think a CEO would have a better ability to read people and know when he's being lied to. . .

Oh, you're on fire, Daisy!

Here's a thought...he's suddenly concerned and sorry for his treatment of Gia? Could HE be our heart donor after getting taken down?

Yes, it could be!!! Remember to take a bow if that happens!

I agree with you on trying to push Julieta to Sergio! Why? What are they going to do, have Pilar under mental house arrest in her villa? Sergio has blown it far as I'm concerened. Jeezopete!

Buongiorno a tutti! I see other of my Patio Peeps. Gotta run to work. See ya in a bit!

Grazie tanto, Lila. These edited episodes are definitely annoying, but at least they left in the shirtless scene with Santino. I want to see this actor again! He should turn up as an Italian duke or a count in Hotel.

I have been concerned for a long time about whether there is any need for a Karmageddon discussion because of the most recent precedent. I'll post it anyway sometime tomorrow so we can vent about what we think the writers did and what we would prefer to see. What is also bugging me is the recent tendency of the network writers to keep changing direction on the way to the end to make it almost impossible to guess the outcome and how illogical this has been in terms of character development. I consider this to be irresponsible for a bunch of reasons including the future rerun life of the series (which will cut into Televisa's bottom line and that of any of their rebroadcast clients).

Put me on record for saying that after all this nonsense we need the finale to have Pedro and Fiorella's religious ceremony in the Sistine Chapel and presided over by the Pope. Failing that it should be in Santa Maria del Fiore. Where did Santino say he was from?

Well Lila, you just keep cranking out these wonderful jewels for us. Thank you so much!

Well, none of us believed that Fi would be murdered, so the only question was how she would manipulate Assman into letting her live, and she instinctively pounced on his most vulnerable spots - his upbringing and he desire to have a child.

Dante is absolutely going down the tubes along with his love interest Federika. They have told too many lies, and have done too many things to those around them for their scheme to hold together.

Loved your observation that Pedro keeps a SWAT team in his back pocket. With the editing, the translation into that scene was confusing to me also.

So Fi's agreement to protect Assman involves lying to Pedro. I don't like that, and wonder if it will be resolved.

Eloisa sure has made a complete turn around in her attitude toward the "lower" classes, being convincingly distressed about Fi's absence.

Thanks again, Lila. You always delight us with your work!

David

Except she still insists that Fiorella lose her accent and blow her hair completely straight.

UA, I don't take that as a negative thing. I think in Eloisa's mind she is thinking that if you have been invited to the prom, then you need to learn to dance.

David

In what century is Helloisa living? She still needs a wake-up call.

Eloisa hasn't changed a bit. The reason Fifi fits in now, along with husband Petey, they are awesome butt kissers and Eloisa loves her buttocks kissed.

Eloisa asking for a copy of Acorp's bylaws might be a red herring, but perhaps there is a loophole in them by which Fedeloca can be unseated. A viewer can only hope!

Yes, doris, I thought the same thing with the Roc and Gia conversation. Seemed to me they especially had her sitting there in a hoodie and jeans/sweats looking like a 16 years old on purpose. Rox seems to geniunely get along and understand her now, and a make over is so her thing to do for someone. I soooooo want Gia to turn up at that dinner and make mince meat out of Skankia. Knock 'em dead sexy and smart to boot..beat that chicka. Gael loves her anyway, he made that apparent with his support in the crisis even though she was technically still mad at him.

I'll say it again, Santino is too good a catch to be thrown to the pasta heap after all this and what he went through to find his daughter. They give Ms. Botoxed to him, then maybe he can meet Pilar and they find peace and happiness together. I would prefer Sergio get NADA right now. I'm still pissed about that masked ball charade, and the writers should be blasted for waxing over that.

I'm with you UA in that some of the conveient transformation of characters and their past exploits for the sake of prolonging the plot is tiresome. Why does it work for some and not others? Asshat planned to KILL Petey, twice, and put his brother through a lifetime of hurt but he's allowed to redeem. Then shouldn't we argue that Freddie get the same? So she tried to poison Elo, and plotted to off Fi, what's the diff? Cause the writers say so? Yeah...I prefer my finales with some poetic justice to those who deserve it, and no matter what fairy dust Fi sprinkled over Asshat, I feel there still needs to be an anvil for past wrongs. That's why I'll hope for my "he's the heart donor" and give him that way to make his amends.

Dante right now is the one character with his lying, manipulations and aiding and abetting that can get thrown under a bus and I won't care. He never seems to show an ounce of remorse...more the scared look of someone worried about getting caught.

Daisynjay

Meant Ms. Botoxed to Sergio...is it coffee break yet?

Daisynjay

Lila, loved this. I so appreciate you are working so hard to increase and enhance our enjoyment of this off the rails show for which we simply can't seem to turn away from!

"vegematic episode: We were hurled and jerked from scene to scene, between day and night", "...seeks shelter in that oft-used refuge of confusion" and "Freddie throwing hostile, provocative barbs" were among my favorites.

Marla, thank you for all the additional information. It's so appreciated.

The silver tongued Fiorella saved herself. She was thoughtful and deliberate. I'm still confused as to how on earth Pedro found her. I am happy he found out Dante's lie. Go with that gut instinct Pedro! The evil Freddie and her nauseating henchie/lover need to be discovered and jailed.

I underestimated how adversely Pedro was affected during his childhood. But the true character of a man/woman is how they handle devastating adversity. He succumbed to it and survived it but chose to be scarred from it.

Can't wait to see what happens next.

Diana

I meant how adversely Osvaldo was affected...

Diana

Wow! Busy day at work! Mille grazie a tutti!"

Tofie!

I know Fifi is a saint and all but I can't buy her talking the Ass out of Assvaldo

Love it, girl!

Dorisita!

HHA! Yah! How long was my girl tied up? Well, Tofie did say they're not trying anymore! Here's more evidence of that:

Apparently Julieta does not know Fiorella's last name. Just "Fi the employee".....

Come on! She must have heard her name before. Wasn't that lame!

Thanks for mentioning this next thing which I didn't cover. Good point:

There was a look on Roxy's face that made me think she might help Gianna with a make-over before she goes to the fancy-schmancy restaurant..... and yet another step toward the taming of the shrew.

Vivita!

I'm glad Uni kept in Santino's shirtless scene. Now, can we have one of Augustine too? :)

Oh, yah, baybay!

Eloisa vouching for Dante almost made me hurl!

Urban!

ITA with your whole comment but not sure I'm clear here:

I have been concerned for a long time about whether there is any need for a Karmageddon discussion because of the most recent precedent.

What recent precendent? Thanks!

David!

So Fi's agreement to protect Assman involves lying to Pedro. I don't like that, and wonder if it will be resolved.

That is a particularly odious form of deception isn't it? Probably the only thing that will resolve that is if he dies in the posture of a crucifix (as some other novela villians have done) AND gives his heart to Gianna.

Eloisa sure has made a complete turn around in her attitude toward the "lower" classes, being convincingly distressed about Fi's absence.

Eloisa has been saved! Accept it, disbelievers!

BAM! Daisy at 10:46! Preach, Sister!

Diana!

I'm still confused as to how on earth Pedro found her. I am happy he found out Dante's lie. Go with that gut instinct Pedro! The evil Freddie and her nauseating henchie/lover need to be discovered and jailed.

Me too, and Amen!

The precedent is Mi Corazon es Tuyo, which was also a "comedy."

The primary villain was a gold-digging wicked stepmother. She tried several times to kill several of the children and she got off scot-free from the law in the end.

It was funny and gross when Pedro wiped the (very real) sweat from Dante's brow when he interrogated him about contacting the police.

Hi my dear friends. I dont know if Univision cut it but in episode 149 there was a scene of Pietro with a police telling him that they tracked fiorellas cellphone and already found where she was. That is how they locate her.

Urban@1:16. Ewwww! That would have driven me ker-razy!

Thanks, Marla. Well, I hope if Uni is not going to have long novelas anymore that this will be the end of us having to put up with such hack jobs. Sheesh!

Vivi, I swear that scene with the mop sweat move from Petey looked like an ad lib. But it was effective.

Amen Lila. Why have novelas that people in Mexico get bored with because of the length and then we get them spliced and diced to pull in the next one. Truthfully, even with the cuts, some of these TN's still start jumping the shark on plots and we're ready to get them over with.

Daisynjay

Daisy and all, you know, the kind of frustration you describe above is what contributes to folk looking at their lives and looking at the time that emoting and recapping a telenovela takes and deciding to choose life, if you know what I mean. So, I hope we get more reasonable lengths and pace so that we can get the full story and not this hacked up mess we've been getting lately!

Oh Vivi, I was trying to forget that Pedro wipes Dante's sweat scene!!! ~blech~

Lila - I'll take a hacked up mess over suffering with this mess for another six months, but that's how I roll. Move it on out and hope the next one is better. LOL. Because, really, who wants to watch six more months if Botox lady, Fed&Dante, Sergio, et al? Not me.

Oh Shoot. I missed the shirtless Santino scene, but after Googling the actor, I see that he doesn't do shirtless publicity shots. :o(

J in Disappointed Oregon

J in O- Here you go: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CFV1bjXVAAAYYZW.jpg

Oh Lila, always love your sassy style. "Vegematic episode" is a keeper. We can use that one again and again. My other favorite was "Skank probably has this kind of confrontation with wives and girlfriends at least twice a week." Amen!

Haven't seen this but sounds as if Fiorella is exuding boatloads of nobility, generosity and forgiveness yet again. Well, someone has to make up for the serious deficit of human kindness that exists in the rest of the family.

Will try and watch this just for the Santino scene. Priorities priorities. Although I wish his voice were a little deeper. And he seems to have something of a lisp. Still...miles away a better man than the deep-in-his-cups Sergio.

Lila, you get the medal of honor for sticking with this. And Marla, thanks for the info about the dropped scenes. Very helpful.

Hey Lila, thank you for not "choosing life" - at least not until our ultimate semanas are over here. We are so grateful that you are generously choosing us on the patio instead.
Ann C

Lila, I enjoyed the recap, thank you. Now: I do
Think of barny robles, fred flinttstones pal on
"The flintstones". Their family lawyer's name Att. Robles. I think I pronounced it right. And
The kidnapping part if this is kind of stupid on Freddys part, and the dumb & dumber gang She got to help her. It will be nice if assOs Makes a change. Dante is a kingsize jackass.
Freddys not to bright, how is killing off anybody going to help her situation? She'll
Quit possibly get over 1/2 of everything, but
Not the whole shabang.
Well we might get stuck with skankamania
Tonite. Just be aware. SKANK ALERT!!!!!!
So they arrested diana for having a gun that
Was used in a murder, when is vitto gonna find out shes the one responsible for gettin his loot Stolen? If he knew, he'd let her rot in jail. Adel And whats his name ( that guy with the scratchy black board ) can raise little betito.

Ok, is julieta absent minded or does she not
Know fiorella's last name? And that guy that
Gave them the Imformation would be fiorella & Gianna's Adopted uncle. Brother to the now
deceased Mr. Bianchi.
Maybe something will click in julieta's mind
Tonight. Cause they are moving rather fast in
This tn. I am truely surprised about that, but
Happy. I saw pedro wipe the sweat off dante.
Yuck, yuck and more yuck!!!!!!!

Grazie, JudyB! Judy, you crack me up with your review of Santino's hawtness!

Although I wish his voice were a little deeper. And he seems to have something of a lisp. Still...miles away a better man than the deep-in-his-cups Sergio.

Funny, now that you mention it, that is so true about Santino's voice. In my house we talk about people having or not having "chords." Uh, Santino ain't got 'em but he's a decent bloke and appears to be built like a brick shit house!

(For those who don't know, that is the original reference for the Commodores "Brick House." They left out the "shit." A "shit house" is an out house, an outdoor toilet and they are generally sturdy enough but made cheaply out of wood. Now. If you have an outhouse made of of brick and mortar, you've got yourself a WELL BUILT shit house. An over-engineered shit house, or out house. So when Lionel Ritchie said that famous lady he was lusting over was built like a BRICK HOUSE, (again, leaving out the word "shit" or "out") he meant the lady was well built: had a fabulous figure that made "an old man wish for younger days."

I'm sure all the regular commenters know this. Just threw it in in case any of our friends too shy to comment didn't know!

:D

Nina, Vittorio knows. She explained to him that she was blackmailed into doing it. Since Anibal and Ramiro have been arrested Vittorio should be able to recover his money and property.

Oh, hey, Ann C! I'm sorry! I missed your comment. You are welcome my dear! I couldn't do this without all of you cause I do it for my self and the most devoted Patio I have ever seen! Mille grazie, sorellina!

Mille grazie, Nina! Thanks for answering Nina's question, Urban. On why Julieta did not recognize "Bianchi", that's the question of the hour. I KNOW she must have heard it, but apparently not. I guess one day Julieta will tell Fiorella because she has been kind of keeping her updated on the invetigation.

Jeez - O - Pete!

Oh folks here is what I promised.

List of deleted scenes from episode 150:

Vittorio telling Adela and Rey that he hasn't been allowed to visit Diana. After that he receives a phone call from Diana, who already is prison with her beige uniform. She tells him all she loves and thanks him and desperate tells him that she has lost all hope and asks him to take care of her son. This sounds like a good bye call.
Talking about good bye, in another scene Vitto in the prison is informed that Diana is in the nurse's room because she tried to suicide.
A sweet scene between Fiorella, Pietro, and Gianna.
A scene of Pietro and Helloisa talking about reforcing the ranch security and remembering us the monster that Maximo was. Helloisa recognizing how much she loves Fiorella and the fear that she felt of losing her. Fiorella comes talking about how cold is the ranch and joking that they should name it Rancho Los Alpes.
A scene of Fiorella having nightmares (oh my poor sweetheart) and awakening scared but Pietro consoles her. Then he talks about Federica wanting to destitute him as president of Acorp and all the scandal she did in the meeting.

Continuation...

A scene of Federica making questions to Fiorella about her kidnapping, you know trying to make her vomit what she knows but Fiorella continues protecting Assvaldo.
A scene of Sergio telling poor Pilar that Julieta finished her relationship with him. He cries and again begs Pilar to forgive him. And it seems that she did because there was another scene in which Sergio was telling Simona and Domingo that he was going to take Pilar to a horse ride and she was so happy. After that Simona has a funny arguing with Domingo about how to make the bed.
A sweet scene of Gianna and Gael but Agustin interrupts calling Gael to invite Gianna and him to a dinner in a restaurant that Skankia already chose.

VIVI--wowza! Thanks for the muscle shot of Santino! He has one of those thin faces and I can't believe the rest of him is so...sturdy looking!

:D

Thank you Lila, Marla and everyone who chipped in on the recap.

I really liked this episode. Looks like the writers are looking to redeem Osvaldo, Fiorella basically convince Osvaldo to do the right thing. Its nice how Fiorella covered for Osvaldo. Her aboility to forgive is also probably her downfall

The main couple seem to be growing stronger. I hope Santino and Julieta can work through their issue, end up together and find Fiorella soon.

Gael and Gianna are so cute, i just wish Katia would disappear already.
