Recap by Sneaky Two Shoes!!!! Grazie Tantissimo!!!!
(Lots of rehash tonight folks, I’ll try to make it brief)
Gia threatens Roxi at knifepoint and they bond over hating Skankia. Gia is afraid she won’t have appropriate fancy restaurant wear and will look bad at the family dinner w/Gael
Os and Fi talk about nothing, nothing at all – Fed smells a plot and comes asking but Os says he forgot Fi wasn’t a servant anymore and asked her for his jacket. Fi is all ‘yeah I reminded him I don’t serve in this house anymore’ and Fed replies ‘yeah, you don’t serve for anything anymore’ (in Spanish no sierves para nada also means you’re worthless, so, exactly what Fed thinks of both Os and Fi)
Fi beats feet and Fed and Os trade insults, then Fed says she read the cards and death is close to this house, but Os has more faith in fortune cookies than her stupid cards.
Santino needs to borrow Juli’s shower because his is broken and he’s dirty and sweaty. Juli shows no sign of accompanying him to the shower. ( hang in there, it’ll matter later)
Fed and Aitana meet. After insulting her, calling her a polizon = vagrant and making fun of her downfall, Fed suggests they work together to bump off various family members they both hate – starting with Os.
Os is meeting w/Petey and Abue on strategy to beat Fed. He’s all helpful and nice and they notice they change – its all because of the kid, he wants to be a good father and a good example. They gird themselves to go swimming w/the metaphorical sharks.
Roxi still doesn’t have a very good concept of where money comes from, she hits up Quina for 20,000 pesos (nope I didn’t put an extra zero in there) while Simona and Domingo flirt with fruit in the foreground. Quina coughs up 200 after Roxi says its for charity, so she goes to the other staff assembled in the kitchen for the rest. They jokingly guess what its for,
Fidel –‘you ran out of lip gloss’
Nope
Beni – ‘I know, its for contraceptives!’ The others give him a look and he goes ‘what? Poor people need some too’
Roxi takes all his cash and its Domingo’s turn but he says he doesn’t have any and something about a tanda when he gets his first paycheck so she gives up on him and goes to Fidel who says ‘this better be a real good cause’ Roxi makes them a deal, if they give her money and they don’t think the cause is good, they can humiliate her – well, that sounds good to Simona, she goes into her bra to chip in 1,000 pesos, but if Rox can’t prove it went to a good cause she has to wear a servant’s uniform. – Done and even Quina comes up with some more $ (I’m guessing the $ is to buy Gia a fancy restaurant dress for Gael’s family dinner)
Sergio comes to apologize – again – he’s lived w/the guilt all these years, she doesn’t know how that weighed on him. Well he doesn’t know what its like to find out you were so vilely tricked and she politely invites him to leave – just then Santino comes out of the shower in a towel (thank you writers!)
The two men give each other what the hell are you doing here looks.
Sergio gets upset, he can’t believe Juli moved on so quickly. Santino explains why he’s there, and naked, but Sergio doesn’t believe him, he thinks this means Juli never loved him really. Juli tells him to think what he likes and get out.
Board meeting – they want Pietro out of the president’s chair while they investigate Fed’s accusations.
The Japanese don’t trust Pietro anymore and so Pietro agrees for the good of the company and says Os can take his place, but the Japanese don’t want any Angeles at the head of the company, they want any other board member with any other surname.
Pietro agrees for the good of the company, but Elo balks, ‘ no way, this is a family business and a family member must be its head. My vote counts most so what I say goes’
The Japanese say ‘ok then, our contract says we can withdraw at any time if things get hinky so, we’re out.’ Elo says ‘ok, byee.’ Pietro looks worried.
The doc tells Gael and Gia the treatment is n’t working and neither is Gia’s heart, she’ll need a transplant, so they’ll need to put her on the list. Fi comes in and is shocked to hear Gia needs a new heart, the doc is shocked Fi doesn’t know. Gia didn’t tell anyone because she didn’t want to worry them. Gael says he knows all about signing up on the transplant list, he’ll help them do it
Adela, Rey and Vitto discuss Diana’s attempted suicide (well I would have been very confused about that if not for Marla, whatever editors) and her current state. Seems that Vitto has adopted Betito in all but the legal sense. Adela brings up Fi and that reminds Vitto he had something to give her.
Roxi comes into the kitchen yelling all her favorite nicknames/insults for Gia with her hands full of shopping. Gael yells at her not to yell, especially at Gia – we just found out she’ll need a heart transplant. SubduedRoxi tells him not to make stuff like that up, Gael wishes it was made up, but its real. He feels like he wants to cry or yell but he’s trying to be strong for Gia. Roxi gives him a hug and he asks her not to fight w/Gia, he knows how she is. Roxi is offended but promises to be extra nice. He heads out to get Gia on the national transplant registry.
Pietro gets home and Fi tells him abut Gia. She’s scared Gia will die, she feels all her care and work and the medicines were in vain. Pietro tells her nothing is in vain, she got them there. God is good , we have to trust him and I am here, I will be with you and support you with everything you need. He will go with her to register Gia to help and comfort her – you are strong, and now you are not alone, together we are even stronger.
Os has bought baby clothes and brings them home to show Sonia, he’s so excited about the baby, and he has a surprise for her – it’s a singing teacher to help her get her career back, classes 3 times a week. Sonia gets emotional – ‘are you serious, or are you making fun of me?’ – ‘no its for real, I want to support you and be with you every second of this pregnancy’ - teary hug. (well they’re too happy, I smell impending doom)
Santino and Juli have lunch, Santino gets a call, the search goes on, they have the surname Bianchi but there are lots of Bianchis in Italy and now they have the name of the town Basilicata. Juli remembers her daughter’s little face, Santino wants to revisit making said daughter and goes in for a kiss, but Juli pulls away.
Alina and Domingo discuss Pilar while she’s right there in the room with them, sitting 2 feet away. She’s been happier today. Alina tells Domingo she wants to know absolutely everything Pilar does and says while she’s not there, and then takes her leave. Fed comes in and gives Domingo a scare and takes his chair and kicks him out so she can talk to Pilar alone because they’re buds doncha know.
Gia and Fi and their significant others are in the doc’s office learning about signing up on the national organ registry all we really need to know is it could take 30 months to get a heart and everybody looks pessimistic.
Alina is still leaving. Runs into Aitana on her way out and Ai tells her why she’s there so now Alina knows.
Fi wants happy faces, says its all gonna be ok, Gia is a fighter and they go home for some of Fi’s special pasta. Gael goes back to ask if he can be a donor, especially, especially of the heart.
Fed apologizes to Pilar for freaking out at her and tells her she really needs to know who killed her father. She has so much pain and anger, and she has lived w/these suspicions for so long, but she thinks Pilar will never tell her. Pilar flashes back to seeing Gabe’s death and she speaks one word – ‘Dante’
‘Dante?!?’ whisper shrieks Fed ‘Dante what?!?’ ‘Dante killed my father???!!!!’
Pilar nods and shushes her at the same time
Fed looks like her head is about to pop off and fly around the room as she shrieks

Oh Doris, I think that Mike Biagio could perfectly play twins in a novela. Is amazing how Osvaldo went from being a brain washer manipulator and killer to this sweet husband who is all emotional for being father. And yes, I agree in that it would be awful and so painful to make Sonia a widow especially being her pregnant and also for Gael to lose his brother to save Gianna. But at the same time it would be the best way in which redeemed Osvaldo could compensate Fiorella and Gael for the harm he did to them although it would be a bit creepy to have the heart of a person with too much traumas like him.

Is Vitto suffering from Alzheimer's? Why was he struggling to remember what he needs to give to Fiorella? How does one forget the deathbed letter a father writes to his daughter admitting she's adopted? Come one, writers! This whole Diana business is only serving the purpose of making Vitto SO busy that he can't get around to giving Fi the letter.
I did not like seeing Gael sign up to be an organ donor. Don't get me wrong. Being an organ donor is fantastic, sets a great example-- I'm one. But I don't like what the writers are teasing us about what they'll do. But I'm pretty sure they won't kill Gael off.
Freddie really did look like her head was about to pop off. I was so annoyed that Domingo had been so easily run off, then when the scene got to that point, Freddie's screeching took me by surprise. Should be interesting to see what she does next.

Sergio is stupid. It's understandable that he would be annoyed (and frankly, intimidated) by muscly Santino emerging from Julia's shower. But Juli was fully dressed and made up. Not even her shoes were off. It in no way looked like something was about to happen between them. And he can't talk. He just admitted that he date raped Juli 20+ years ago. He needs to back off. And, shouldn't he be spending this time helping his WIFE recover?!
Grazie ancora, Sneaky! I like your style, girl! Loved it when the Japanese said we will have to move on if Pedro heds up ACorp and Eloisa said "Sayonara!" Go, Elo!

Oh indeed!! For awhile, swear I went to such a happy place that I may have missed what else happened after. I mean, fine tuned doesn't come close to describing that man. How old is he? I will also note I slept like a baby for the first time in weeks with visions of sugar plums and Santino's ( and visions from a later TN) dancing in my head. It was a good day for shirtless moments.
As for the rest of the hour, hell no on that tidbit of Gael registering on the heart donor list. DO NOT GO THERE writers. I pray that is a red herring. They redeem Asshat and then do that...I couldn't watch after. They can wrap this TN however they want, I wouldn't be watching.
Watching Freddie absolutely lose it was fun, I mean the actress pulled that off beautifully. Those little revenge wheels are going to be turning big time. Everyone can enjoy the time off since Freddie will be busy with Dante.
I still want to see Rox give Gia the makeover. Especially with all that happens, sticking it to Skankia would lift her spirits.

Alina could lose her license, but I don't think that will happen. She's just not important enough and I don't remember her telling Assvaldo anything that led to further abuse of Gael. That wouldn't have happened off-screen because it would have been important.
I hope Gael doesn't spill the beans about not being an Angeles until he graduates med school himself. He deserves compensation for pain and suffering. Assvaldo has made such a pronounced turnaround that it gives me the creeps and cause to wonder if he'll be the heart donor. As I watched this episode, I kept wondering "who is that guy, and what did you do with Assvaldo?" It would be awful if Sonia loses her husband just when he becomes a nice guy. She not such a baddie and doesn't deserve to be a single parent.

I also think Gael is planning to kill himself to donate his heart, but wouldn't being a drug user preclude his donating any organs? And if so, shouldn't he know that, being a med student.
