Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #94 1-7-16 Roxy's Worst Day Ever!
Recap by Sneaky Two Shoes! Mille Grazie!!
Elo asks Fi not to tell
anyone about Roxi’s parentage and Fed waltzes in and asks about the
monthly deposits ACorp is making to the mystery account.
Elo notices and fingers her huge seafoam green bracelet and calls
her Imelda as she tells her, ask Pietro I don’t know about business
stuff. They go back and forth for a while over whether Fedrica is in
fact Imelda Marcos or not (in case anybody didn’t
know Imelda Marcos was a politician’s wife who spent scandalous amounts
of govmt $ on clothes and especially shoes, she had like a bajillion
pair)
Pietro goes to Rey and Adela’s place where Roxi trying to get rid of him pretends, badly, to be a sister of Adela. Pietro falls for it till Beni blows her cover, calling her by name. Too late to shut Pietro out though, Rox has already let him in and he won’t leave till he talks to her.
Fi has a wonderful idea that Roxi is just gonna
hate; let Rox come back to the ranch, but she has tolive w/Quina
in the employee quarters. Elo goes for it and wants to take it a step
farther and put Roxi to work, Ha!
Sonia goes to see Fabio: he is a broken man, his wife left him for another man when he quit ACorp and he doesn’t feel good about betraying Pietro, in short he wants nothing to do with whatever nefariousness Os is cooking up. Sonia tells him she’s there to ask his help to stop Os and Beg from killing Pietro, and generally foil their plans
Pietro explains to Roxi
that Quina was telling the truth about her parentage. Rox cries but
takes it better than I expected (nothing gets broken) and agrees to go
back to the ranch.
Os and Sonia each
return from their illicit meetings at the same time and meet in the
foyer to question and dance around each other’s questions.
Elo gathers the suspects
- I mean family together to tell them of Maximo’s
love child. Shock all around, and Fed with her usual tact puts the
situation in the worst possible words –‘ so Maximo forced you to live
with his mistress and
bastard all these years’ and then records Elo on her phone when she
repeats it.
Os’s preoccupation is all about how this affects his cut of the
inheritance and its not unnoticed but Fed recording the whole thing on
her phone is. Fed rescues Elo from the increasingly awkward meeting to
go upstairs to rest.
Vitto asks Diana if
Betito’s daddy is the guy he saw at the apt. Diana hems and haws. Gia
bursts in w/a question for Vitto, Diana escapes.
Pietro brings Roxi
home, offers empty reassurances about fitting in soon and then ditches
her to meet w/his doctor, so that when Dante and 2 faceless goons come
by trucking out all Roxi’s stuff, she’s all alone
and can’t stop them or get even 1 civil word from Dante about what
they’re doing or why. Then Sonia comes by to mock and Fed to snub her
and then Elo tells her she has to live w/Quina from now on. Roxi thinks
the servants’ rooms are terrible, but Fi tries
to reassure her that Max wouldn’t have wanted Quina to live in
discomfort, right? Rox looks thoughtful and sad and Elo has Fi show her
where she’ll be living.
The doc can’t tell if Pietro will get his eyesight back, its anyone’s guess.
Even though Elo and Rox
aren’t related by blood, they’re pretty similar. Roxi feels sorry for
herself and thinks her new room is horrible, despite Fifi telling her
its huge. Elo thinks her situation is horrible
and spends some quality time feeling sorry for herself
too. (do I sound unsympathetic? I am. I think the main thing Elo
is upset about is that Max is gone so she can’t yell at him in person)
After leaving Roxi Fi
goes to offer sympathy to Elo and tells her she knows how she feels but
she needs to buck up and soldier on, and then offers a comforting hug.
Pietro looks like he
could use a hug too as he sobs and then starts breaking stuff in his
room, probably because he might stay blind. Fi must sense his distress
(or maybe she hears the mess being made and runs
to stop it getting any bigger) ‘cause she runs in to find out what’s
wrong. When Pietro tells her the doc had no good news for him she tries
to offer consolation and hugs but he is determined to look on the dark
side. Fi perseveres and promises to stay with
him forever and try to make him happy and says she’ll teach him a new
way to see the world. Pietro clings to her desperately and gradually
calms.
Rox treats Joaquina
horribly and kicks her out of her new room, but cries when alone. (Yep,
whoever said knowing the truth wouldn’t make Roxi any nicer to Quina was
totally right)
Beg and Os meet. Os
chides Beg for betraying him with the bribery of the board. Beg passes
it off as just good business, and they plot to get rid ofPietro and now
maybe also Roxi.
Remember Gia going to
Vitto with a question? Well, Vitto lies and says he doesn’t know
anything about Fi maybe being adopted, even though he has that letter
right there in his desk, because he’s pissed about
Fiorella leaving him at the altar. (what a blankety blank blank as my
grandma used to say)
Pietro rides and
Fiorella leads the horse and describes the scenery and encourages him to
use his other senses. He seems much more cheerful, and upbeat. They sit
and exchange kisses and eat fruit – OMG what
was that? Some guy just grabbed Fed! What was that, a psychic vision? A
random brainwave? Did they see it? Nope they’re all smiles and apples
and strawberries and kisses.
Ok here’s that guy and
Fed again. He’s trying to drag her out the front door – I think it’s the
guy she framed for the acid eye drops, he says something about jail and
something about poison. Dante comes in,
in the nick of time and saves her, then goes chasing after the guy
while Fed shivers and cries and the rest of the fam comes to see what’s
up.
In the kitchen Gael
tells Gia he’s going to meet with Augustin today, and he’s anxious about
it but doesn’t want Gia to go with him incase its not safe, but he’ll
want to see her when he gets back. They discuss
Roxi and Gi looks sympathetic and worried when she hears they took away
Roxi’s clothes (I guess Dante wasn’t just moving her stuff to her new
room) Gael will wait a while for Rox to calm down before he goes to talk
to her.
Dante and Elo discuss
how Ramiro (the guy who attacked Fed) got in. He must know his way
around from having worked for them, but don’t worry Dante and his guys
are on it. Elo wants the camers on and checked
all the same.
Pietro and Fi get back
and Pietro thanks Fi for her love and support. They are very lovey dovey
and Fidel gets nervous about them getting caught (I don’t know if he
knows the cameras are on now) so they reluctantly
part.
Fed makes a classic
villain mistake and plots out loud in the very open and exposed sala
where anybody could walk by and see her talking about humiliating Eloisa
and reviewing her video. Fi does walk by and
does hear her and creeps closer to see what’s up. Meanwhile Elo up in
her room turns on her security feed and sees Fed plotting, sees Fi grab
the phone and confront Fed about her plans to make the video public and
hold her off long enough to erase the video.
Elo muses to herself that Fi is winning her over more all the time.
Alina tries to keep
Gael calm and prepare him to meet w/Agustin, she’ll leave them to talk
but be nearby if needed. Agustin comes in and without facing him Gael
asks ‘what was your relationship w/my mom? Why
are you trying to contact me? What do you want with me? ‘
Agustin with tears in his eyes haltingly tells him, ‘I cared for your mom . . . a lot. She was a special person to me.’
Gael –‘Why’
Agustin –‘ It’s complicated, well, I, your mom…’
G –‘ please tell me, don’t stop talking’
A – ‘Your mom and I had a very strong connection’
G –‘ What kind of connection?’
A – ‘It’s complicated’
G –‘ What kind of relationship did you have with my mom?’
A – ‘Gael,, I, ,, am,, your father.’
Finally Gael turns around and both father and son are crying now as they face each other.
(and so am I )

Good afternoon folks. This was another edited episode but wonderful. I have to congratulate Jose Ron for that amazing scene of Pietro's anger and desperation for being blind. A big applause for his great acting.
Roxana well is not the most sympathetic girl but I feel that Helloisa is kind of wanting to take all her frustration of being cheated by Maximo on Roxy since her husband is no longer there to pay for his cowardy. I understand that Helloisa is mad for obvious reasons but in this situation the most victim is Roxy, she didn't decide to come to this world and she is not guilty of what Joaquina and Maximo did. Perhaps this will make Roxy a better and mature girl. By the way they cut a scene of her being recently showered and complaining with Joaquina about something of the water and then something about Joaquina's body lotion.
Also a scene of her trying to cook some tortillas and burning her hand and some scene of Gianna borrowing or giving her some clothes so she can dress.
Oh, I am fearful that now Fiorella and Roxy are in great danger especially Fiorella being the heir of 50 % of the Angeles money. This should be a plan of Helloisa to unmask Federica and all the vultures. I don't believe she is seriously giving Fifi half of the fortune when this old lady has always humilliate and hate the servants.
Oh I hate when reporters are all day talking about a same theme and they interrupt my favorite novelas. I wonder what episodes of muchacha italiana they are gonna pass on Monday because they passed a different commercial and not the one they had passed for today. And I agree with you Lila that it was good to see Federica scared when Ramiro tried to kidnap her. I was thinking that it had been wonderful to see if someone other than Dante would pay the rescate money if Ramiro had succeeded in taking her with him.
Oh Assvaldo is simply a Maximo #2. Is there someone he hasnt threatened of killing? By the way they cut the scene where Ratana and him were caught in their hot smooching by Celeste, Ratanas mom. Oh Ass face was priceless, I think that for first time he was a litle bit ashamed.
Good afternoon my dear friends. I live on Houston, Texas and here they passed all the night novelas except Muchacha Italiana. Since they use to edit the novela, episodes 133 and 134 were supposed to be aired in a single episode yesterday or maybe just episode 133. I am afraid that since they have such a hurry to finish the novela, they will just jump to another episode or episodes on Monday because just like I said, yesterday I saw a different commercial. Thank God internet exists and the novela episodes are still posted in different websites.
I think that Helloisa only knows about Benigno's bribery to the board of directors but still she was trying to justify that as an act of revenge to Pietro for not marrying Ratana. Pietro still hasn't tell her that Beg swindled the company but it seems that Sonia is trying to get the proofs to save Pietro's life and surely she would come with a brilliant idea to blackmail the De la Riva Palma's family.

I can't believe I missed the one episode that sounds truly explosive! So upset I missed Gael and his father finding each other; Roxi being relegated to the servants quarters and Fi being named in the will...

Thanks so much, Sneaky! This was obviously a cut and paste episode (especially that half a second clip of Fed being nearly kidnapped in between fruit tasting), but you made it feel coherent. There were many exciting events and it was a good episode.
I just about spit out my swig of water when AFTER the attack, Dante and Eloisa said they’d turn on all the security cameras. Say what?! Shouldn’t the cameras always be on to avoid something like this? I’m guessing the cuts meant we missed some plotting by Ramiro and Anibal to explain why he chose to attack Fed just then.
I said some choice words about the old goat out loud when he lied to Gi about knowing about Fi being adopted, then took out the letter (from his old friend who helped him and trusted him) and justified his actions as payback for Fi dumping him. Ugh!
Can’t wait to see the fallout from Fi now being heir to HALF of all the Angeles money.
If Max left Roxi a small inheritance all her own, why does she need to live in the mansion or the servants quarters? And didn’t he do the same for Quina? Maybe I just don’t understand this whole convoluted inheritance thing.

I could be contested in the US Doris but Eloisa ain't dead yet and she can do whatever she wants. In everyone's favor is Eloisa's feigned dementia and someone could say she was not of sound mind but this was not done in secret and she has told everyone her intentions.
I laugh every time Fifi gives a little speech about betrayal and Eloisa pets her for being such a good little girl. Grandma she be lying to you.
Love it. Roxy gets her cut and now Fifi gets a cut. Not much meat left on the bone for the others to fight over.

Ok, that was some episode...few pieces they could have done without. (C'mon just make Vitto non existent please) and Diana is worthless.
But all things Gael and Papa--good lord, I had this thing in my eye and my sinuses let loose. Ok, I teared up. I mean these two LOOK like father and son and it's hard it park the show part watching them. Please do not have Gael go all ballistic on the guy--he looked so hopeful. I'm available for hugs and consolation.

So Elo leaves money to Fi? 50%? So I'm assuming this would be HER fortune, not the allocation in place by Max? Little confused on that part. Still a slap in the face, but honestly, she just put a walking target on that woman. Or is that her intent, use Fi as a trap? Just didn't get why the big reveal now unless she wanted to relish seeing all their faces. Asshat is really having a bad couple days.
I get Rox was a brat before, but why bring her back to the ranch and then insist she become help? At some point, some of these young people need to just move out.

Thank you, Sneaky, for this wonderful recap. Even though the kidnapping attempt was foiled, I was glad to see Freddie dragged around for her nasty and childish treatment of Roxi. I guess Roxi had it coming, though. Nasty and childish is what she's been from the beginning of this story. Her reaction to Quina IS what we predicted. Roxi's a snot but that is a heavy revelation.
Some interesting things to look forward to:
What is Fabio and Sonia cooking up to save Pedro. So Fabio cooperated in the betrayal of Pedro to keep them from squealing on him to his wife and she left him anyway? She must be one hot mama that she found a man to take her on with three kids and pregnant to boot, or four kids if she's delivered. Sheesh!
So Papi Chulo has finally come clean. VERY touching scene between him and Gael. We've all commented about how much the two actors look alike. It is the absolute best casting I've ever seen on any tv show or movie in any language. Very heart rending scene. So now Gael and Roxi REALLY have something to bond over and comfort each other for. Aftermath for this will be interesting.
Fiorella gets 50% of the Angeles fortune??!! Even Pedro looked puzzled. Oh man, if the marriage is revealed now she will certainly be accused of bewitching Eloisa. I agree: this will be contested. What ever happened to Pedro's suggestion? directive? to have it such that Eloisa's decisions will be null and void as long as she's sick. Of course, this was just mentioned in passing and not followed up on.
I'm with you, Vivi, this whole inheritance piece is a ball of confusion!

I understand that Max preferred Quina and Roxy live at the house but if Eloisa threw Quina out she got a generous severance but they didn't say what generous meant but must have been enough to change Eloisa's mind. The trust for Roxy is separate from Quina's compensation as an employee or a lump severance. We also don't know how big the trust is or when or under what terms Roxy can draw from it. Is it a monthly stipend or a lump sum with conditions attached. We don't know.
Eloisa's fortune is inherited from Max less the trust established for his daughter Roxy. Eloisa has no claim to any of that money.

Lila- What I don't get is why Quina was never upset about Roxi and Gael's kisses. And now that the rest of the family knows Roxi is a direct descendant of Max, and not some distant cousin, I'm surprised none of them have brought up that Gael was dating his aunt. Only Gael and Alina at this point know they are not aunt and nephew. The whole thing is ewww!

Oh I hate when reporters are all day talking about a same theme and they interrupt my favorite novelas. I wonder what episodes of muchacha italiana they are gonna pass on Monday because they passed a different commercial and not the one they had passed for today. And I agree with you Lila that it was good to see Federica scared when Ramiro tried to kidnap her. I was thinking that it had been wonderful to see if someone other than Dante would pay the rescate money if Ramiro had succeeded in taking her with him.
Oh Assvaldo is simply a Maximo #2. Is there someone he hasnt threatened of killing? By the way they cut the scene where Ratana and him were caught in their hot smooching by Celeste, Ratanas mom. Oh Ass face was priceless, I think that for first time he was a litle bit ashamed.

Thank you Sneaky Two Shoes. I didn't find this great recap until this morning. And yes, our Friday show was pre-empted by rehashing old stuff about el Chapo, even though I'm betting he'll manage to escape again.
I agree with Nina that Pietro was really having a full-scale tantrum, but I presume there are cultural differences and our British-influenced suck-it-up and be stoic stance isn't in force south of the border. Still, I'm always annoyed when adults make big messes and break furniture and lamps, knowing that some servant will be the one to clean it all up.
Wishing everyone a lovely weekend and breathing a sigh of relief that CarayCaray will continue on. Good afternoon my dear friends. I live on Houston, Texas and here they passed all the night novelas except Muchacha Italiana. Since they use to edit the novela, episodes 133 and 134 were supposed to be aired in a single episode yesterday or maybe just episode 133. I am afraid that since they have such a hurry to finish the novela, they will just jump to another episode or episodes on Monday because just like I said, yesterday I saw a different commercial. Thank God internet exists and the novela episodes are still posted in different websites.

1st - I live in the mountain time zone (Durango CO). Early Saturday morning I was pleased to see that the whole week was posted on Hulu. (I still haven't seen any of those.) Later on Saturday I looked again and episode 95 had been removed from Hulu. I think that indicates that Uni will be giving us all episode 95 Monday evening.
2nd - I want to thank all you ladies (5 ft, Lila, and now Sneaky) again for your hard work, dedication and your tremendous talent for creating these humorous, entertaining and edifying literary masterpieces for us after every episode. I simply can't understand how anyone could reward your generosity with nasty comments - I just don't get it at all. I'm so sorry you've had to put up with it. If I could, I'd give you, 5ft, a big box of chocolates and a nice bottle of red wine for you to enjoy on your "vacation." And I sincerely hope this is just that, not a permanent absence.

I don't know.
Incidentally, does anybody remember if Eloisa knows about Beg's and Aitana's plots against them yet?

I think that Helloisa only knows about Benigno's bribery to the board of directors but still she was trying to justify that as an act of revenge to Pietro for not marrying Ratana. Pietro still hasn't tell her that Beg swindled the company but it seems that Sonia is trying to get the proofs to save Pietro's life and surely she would come with a brilliant idea to blackmail the De la Riva Palma's family.
