Antes muerta que Lichita #103 Thursday 2/18/16 "The Dark Angel has Arrived"
Apparently the show was preempted last night due to an award show. This episode will probably air tonight. Sorry about that guys :/
Augusto congratulates Roberto for joining the dark side. Roberto is not as thrilled. He is just doing this for his son. When Roberto tries to get touchy feely with Augusto Draco shows his gun. Too bad...the API trio enter and interrupt the tense situation.
Luciana visits the cafecito like she sometimes does to see Valeria. This time Alicia is there and she is none too happy about this. Tensions are high but Alicia uses Ximena as an excuse to leave Luciana's presence. In the fourth wall Alicia cannot believe that her own parents are rolling out the carpet for her enemy. She understands Valeria's actions but not those of her family who are supposed to be by her side and not support the enemy that made her life miserable when she was Lichita.
Luci tells her mother that she is keeping busy with work (people's account)...she is using this as a distraction from all the bad things going on in her personal life. Val also mentions trying to get the money from their old house in Argentina....Luci says she will help with this (dont know how since she has no pull over Augusto). Throughout the whole conversation Val looks at Luciana who is constantly shoveling food into her mouth with gusto!
The API trio and there old fashion sense of thinking are quick to bring up the internet publicity add featuring Alex and Kenny. Roberto shuts this down real quick wondering why they were evening looking at this site in the first place. The ads are only on the internet and it was for a specific audience. The trio mention the need to go over finance reports (aka very long meeting) and Augisto takes the opportunity to make his escape.
Alicia is trembling with nerves as she is in Augusto's office. He wants to know why she acts this way..she is their superstar and will come through as always. She admits that feeling a little nervous over the meeting today but its family issues are the reason why she is so distracted. Augusto puts on his caring face and tells her to open up. Alicia feels slighted....her family does not show her the same support now as they did in the past. She feels like all her hard work is of no importance to them now. Augusto too wants to join the pity party spreading his own woes....he was like a guardian angel to his family but they betrayed him in the end (he is leaving out his manipulating ways and years of cheating). His "charms" are too strong for Alicia because she falls for his sad face.
Right before the meeting Fatima informs Alicia that Luciana called a meeting (with People's cafe). Alicia blows up at this saying that Luciana has no right to do so and she does not want her to say anything silly that will cause them the account. There is no way that meeting is gonna happen until she looks at the changes. Fatima wants to know what gives??
Instead of a finance meeting, the API trio seem to be taking roll call. Roberto looks bored and over it and calls for them to end the meeting for now. He asks if they are always this diligent. Not always but they want to make sure that everything checks out. They also want a more secure method in place when checking accounts cause you never know.
Luciana practices for the meeting in a very Luciana way (A for effort but please drop the Luciana-isms). She calls the front desk receptionists to her desk to inquire about the meeting. Luci wants to know why everyone is late. The secretaries inform her in a condescending way that they meeting was canceled by Alicia which infuriates Luciana.
Elias helps Alicia put on her wings (guess this has to do with her presentation) which Nestor snickers before she even begins. The toilet paper representative guy (I totally forgot his name) ends up loving her presentation which we are not privileged to see. Luciana does what she does best and causes a scene while a meeting is still taking place. Alicia tells those them to excuse her behavior as she is a little temperamental and does not know how to control herself. Luci owns this title and goes a little crazy until Augusto interrupts her semi-meltdown. After everyone leaves they get into each others faces a do a little name calling. Luciana makes fun of Alicia while Alicia chides Luciana for only having her name to fall back on while she herself has talents.
Carmeno (??) corners Roberto at his office. He wants to know why Roberto avoids his calls and never return his messages (in that stage of the relationship huh....). Roberto gives a lame excuse about being busy. He just does not have any evidence on Augusto....perhaps he was wrong. Roberto beings to sing false praises but Carmeno is not buying what he's selling. He warns Roberto to stand guard because he will now watch both him and Augusto closely. Later Roberto informs Augusto of his confrontation with the detective. Augusto makes it Roberto's problem to get the pesky detective of their backs since they are partners in crime now.
Sandra pours her worries onto Fatima at some restaurant. She cannot find a job now that the rumor spread of the fiasco that occurred while she was at Madeleine. Fatima reminds Sandra that she cannot place the blame on Alicia...she brought these circumstances onto herself. Instead she should focus on starting her own business or trying something different from Publicity all together. Ms. Debbie Downer does not want to hear this.
Braulio and Brisa are on some vacation. Brisa thinks its time to go back...they cannot stay disconnected from the world forever and they left everything back in Mexico.
It must be late in the office....Fatima runs into Alicia and congratulates her on securing the account. She believes Alicia has a lot of talent and she actually plans to do put her talents towards good use.....Actually Alicia has a change of heart. She does not want to do that right now....she prefers to secure more accounts so that Iconika can be the best publicity firm in Latin America. All Fatima could do is shake her head (probably realizing that Alicia is heading towards the path of no return...too bad Alicia is oblivious to her own actions).
Shut the front door! Hold the phone! Nestor is working (no no actually working and not gossiping and looking for trouble)!! He looks like he pulled one too many all nighters at that. Alicia is happy to see him in this state...he begs for her to hire someone to help with all the work he accumulated on Braulio's absence. Alicia rubs his situation in his face....did he not say many times that he lived for work? He can use this extra work to pay for child support no??
Marcelo Alert! Must be makeover time again. This is the only time Alicia seems like her old self again. His job is to make her shine at Iconika's presentation tonight.
Speaking of tonight's events....Augusto demands Luciana and Roberto's presence at the event as well. Roberto has a difficult time zipping up Luciana's dress. She complains that all she does is eat (currently chowing down on chocolate cake) and Roberto thinks that she may be depressed. They sit and ponder how they arrived in this situation. They are currently like prisoners and the only one with the key to their freedom is master manipulator Augusto.
Its presentation time....(looks like its an award show but all they are doing is presenting the ad for the tissue company....waste of $$$ if you ask me). Braulio and Brisa attend the event as well so you know something is gonna go down. The commercial airs and its nothing special. Augusto introduces Alicia and she falls slowly from the ceiling with a black angel costume smiling radiantly (subtle much show??). Braulio immediately recognizes in horror that his BFF ripped ideas off his movies. He voices this aloud when Brisa asks him why he looks so shocked. Luciana overhears this juicy tidbit...let the games begin!!!

Thanks, CeCe, for the excellent recap. Last night there was an awards show here on Uni that preempted Lichita. I cannot wait to see Alicia in the black angel costume. I wonder how she will ever make things right with Braulio.
CeCe, this didn't air in my neck of the woods either so thank you for the truly excellent recap. Loved the title.

I'm so disappointed in Alicia. True, Braulio has been distracted but what she did was terrible. There are going to be a lot of heartfelt apologies from Alicia. But there is much to occur first. She needs to come to the realization who she is becoming, a far cry from her former sweet self. I like the confidence and self assuredness, but she needs to put people first with kindness as she always had done.
I look forward to seeing how/if Luci finds out she is pregnant. I think thought this is the least problematic of the current situations. She and Roberto will know instantly he is not the father. I expect he will handle it in good grace and they will get divorced leaving her free for Gumaro. I fully expect he will be a warm and loving father (just as Roberto is despite all his other numerable faults).
Of course, they have to zigzag their way around Augusto (but doesn't everyone? He seems to be immersed in everyone's lives).
I wish Elias would wear that amazing red silk Nehru jacket with the plaid pants again. My favorite outfit, far and away.

Thanks, CeCe, for your fun recap. Last night Premio LoNuestro here on Uni preempted Lichita.
I don't think Alicia owes Brawlia or what the fork it's name is any apology. Her complete staff acts like a bunch of self-absorbed kindergarteners, and she should begin to clean house. Save Fatima and begin replacing the rest by ones and twos until the old Iconika personell and culture of worthlessness is completely purged.
Possibly save Elias, if he can agree to some semblance of an adult work schedule. Otherwise, send him into the cosmos with Brillia and Brawlia. Been there, done that Alicia. It's not fun, it is called survival. You can't lead people who are not on your team. You don't see a team's backup quarterback subbing for the opposing team's injured quarterback now do you?

Wow...something told me to check the Uni schedule and actually make sure there were airing the show. I watch online (I do not have a TV currently). Whoops! I'll make sure to do that from now on :/
Yeah I watched a little, and Arath looked so different with his little 'trying-to-be' beard and mustache. He looks completely different in the ads for 'Looking for a boyfriend for my wife' too. I wonder if the Busca Novio or the Lichita hair is the real one.?
