Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #122 2-17-16 I Love You to Death

Ciao, Muchacha Patio Peeps!  Long-suffering, cat-scaring, beanie-wearing Muchacha Patio Peeps!  You  probably did all of these things while watching our latest installment.  Well, here's your summary for tonight.  Have at it and don't hold back!

It is established right from the outset, if you didn't know already, that Gianna's prospects for survival are slim to none.  Gael hears Dr. Elizalde telling Eloisa this so he decides he and Gianna must marry now!  In a sweet scene he gets down on his knee and asks for her hand in marriage.  Of course, she accepts and he places a delicate little white flower that he has formed into a ring upon her finger.  Pedro, Fiorella and Simoneta come by later.  Fiorella has a dress and a wreath of flowers for her head.  Everyone is there in the hospital chapel as Gael and Gianna marry and the vows to love each other in sickness and health until death parts them have never been more meaningful.  He is handsome in his suit and she is radiant with love despite her frailty.

Augustin speaks to Pedro immediately after the above conversation when Gael decided to marry Gianna.  Augustin expresses concern that Gael might do something rash, even commit suicide to save Gianna's life.  He loves her so much, he's capable of anything!

Before I continue, let's wrap up a few other story lines.  Roxi confides in Fidel about her fear that she won't be a good mother to her baby and her plan to give the child up for adoption.  Fidel reminds her of Quina's sacrifice to care for her all her life and her final sacrifice to keep Roxi safe.  She can repay her mother's life giving love by making a new start in her own life.  She tells a nervous Benni as much later in the episode at his parents home; Adela and Rey burst out of the back room, having heard the good news and there are group hugs and kisses all around!

Pedro and Fiorella have many sessions of sharing mutual support over Gianna's deteriorating condition.  In their bedroom, Pedro is unsmiling and strangely adamant that he KNOWS a heart will be available for Gianna.  He swears he will get her a heart, whatever the cost.  He will give whatever so that Gianna doesn't have to suffer.  When Fiorella presses him again about going to Maratea to thank Saint Biagio and for their church wedding, Pedro acts evasive and tortured.  Fiorella feels heartened but Pedro is not so upbeat.  He claims to be tired and leaves to get a glass of water.  After he leaves she prays to Saint Biagio.  Outside the door Pedro says he loves Fiorella and promises she will not lose her sister.

Pedro goes to the study and calls Gael and questions Gael as to why he signed up for the organ registry when he is healthy.  He frankly asks if he plans to sacrifice himself so Gianna can have his heart.  Gael answers no and is immediately weirded out by this exchange and thinks Pedro is not well.  After they hang up Pedro opens the desk drawer, takes out a box and opens it.  There is a gun inside.

On his first day at the helm of ACorp Osvaldo announces to the gathered board members and stock holders that ACorp is bankrupt.  Oh.  Sergio actually attended this meeting in an official function for the very first time.  I guess his job was to pass out the booze after everybody learned that ACorp went belly up.  Whatever.  Osvaldo later meets with Eloisa to give her the bad news and she absolves him of guilt.  She says the company began to die the day Maximo swindled his brother and Benigno, Aitana and Federica put the nails in the coffin.  Osvaldo is off the hook and Sonia later agrees with him in a surprisingly light manner considering the family business has just been flushed down the crapper.  Ni modo, she's got her comeback singing gig tonight:  "It's your time to shine, to enjoy your comeback!" Os tells her.  "It's a marvelous day because you said that," Sonia beams.  Smoochies.

Dr. Elizalde interrupts Pedro and Fiorella talking to Gianna and Gael about their upcoming honeymoon to tell them the latest test results indicate that they must operate now and replace Gianna's heart with the artificial one!  Fiorella sends Pedro back to the house.  She will stay with Gianna.  A second later after a clumsy edit, Pedro and Fiorella are in their bedroom and Pedro is doing more of that unsmiling, stoic, stony faced reassurance that HE KNOWS Gianna will get a heart and will survive.  Fiorella notices Pedro's weirdness and it immediately saps the fragile optimism she had managed to piece together after Gianna's wedding.  Instead of being reassuring, his parting words are chilling:

"I love you like nobody else in this world and I want to guard in my heart your face, your loving gaze and all I feel for you.  I don't want to see you suffer and tomorrow will be a great day for Gianna, you'll see.  And don't forget that I love you will all my HEART."  Fiorella doesn't say such things but her face looks like, "The f*ck!"

Pilar alerts Sergio that Pedro is acting weird.  She thinks he's considering something that is very difficult for him to decide.  Sergio looks pensive.

Sonia gets ready to go to her gig.  Fidel will drive her and Elo.  Osvaldo is supposed to go with them but there is some ACorp loose ends he has to tie up and then he'll get to the gig.  "I wouldn't miss it for the world," he tells Sonia, looking into her eyes with a genuine spark of warmth.  They kiss and she heads out to the car.  Osvaldo calls to Sonia again.  She comes back to his arms.  "I love you," and he kisses her again and again and repeats that he loves her and that she is so beautiful.  Finally they part and each looks at the other for a long moment.  Pedro and Gael come down the stairs.  Os asks and Gael tells him Gianna is not good.  Osvaldo agrees to give Gael a lift to the hospital.

Pedro meets with Robles and gives him a letter instructing him that Fiorella is to get his entire estate if anything happens to him.  Robles is shocked and asks Pedro what is wrong.  Pedro sends Robles out.  Pilar had been listening outside the door and comes in and is even more alarmed to see Pedro tense, distraught and drinking like a. . . Sergio.  Pedro looks and is acting crazy but tells her he is well, hugs and kisses Pilar, puts her out and locks the door.

Who knew Eloisa was a make up consultant?  She advises Sonia and tries to help calm her jitters.  Sonia says it's not about the show, it's Osvaldo.  She's worried about some things he said just before she left.  She calls him and he doesn't answer which increases her fear.  "The show must go on!" Eloisa chirps!

Pilar calls Fiorella and tells her Pedro is acting weird and she's afraid he's about to do something crazy!

I may RPC some of this next "drama," but here goes.  A weeping Pedro writes a letter to Fiorella:

Fiorella my love, this decision is not easy but I love you too much and I can't stand to see you suffer.   In the moment that we married and we swore to love each other forever, I was prepared to do anything for your happiness, to give my life for your happiness.  Now I know that you will be happy with your sister.

Meanwhile, Osvaldo jumps down Gael's throat for telling about being Augustin's son:  it made his mother look like a tramp and his father like a fool.  RPC:  they bark loudly at each other, Os calling Gael and idiot. . .not his brother. . .hung up on Gianna. . .

Fiorella arrives at the Rancho and Pilar repeats her alarming warning!  "Some people can do anything for love and my son loves you very much."  Fiorella looks stunned.

I want you to understand that I will live in Gianna and so always be by your side while you can enjoy your life near your sister.  I love you and will love you eternally because my love for you will not end with my death.

At the hospital, Gianna is tanking like ACorp.

Pedro calls an ambulance to come to the ranch to tend to a critically injured person and he dives back into the bottle of tequila and opens the gun case. Here comes the RPC:  Maximo! suddenly appears in the study with Pedro.  Yes, Maximo committer of fratricide, theft, fraud and false imprisonment and torture appears to lecture Pedro about taking the coward's way out.  This gives Pedro an opportunity to yell "Up yours grandpa you lying, murdering, HYPOCRITE!"

"This is not cowardice!  It's love!  I have never loved anyone like I love her and this love will defeat my death but she will never survive the death of her sister!"

Sonia has taken the stage and starts to sing our theme song, "Adonde Va Nuestro Amor" while we are flashed a montage of Adela and Rey, Benni and Roxi having a rollicking dinner. . . Gianna flat lining. . . .

Osvaldo and Gael continue to bark at each other vociferously.  Osvaldo yells, "I'm glad you're not my brother!" and then his horrified mug fills our screen, his face is distorted with terror and lit up by the headlights of an oncoming car!  WHAAAAMMMO!!! Gael is thrown from the car, Osvaldo is still inside.  Both are bloody!  Scenes of Gianna being shocked with the whatchmacallum paddles are interspersed with the bloody accident scene and the heart monitor which shows the two top lines flat!

Fiorella arrives at the house and pounds on the study door.  She yells to Pedro through the locked door while Pedro continues to argue with his no-good, should be roasting in hell grandpappy. "Leave me alone!  I have to do it!"  Fiorella freaks:  "MY LOVE, DON'T DO IT!  OPEN UP!  OPEN UP!" Sergio runs up to the door.  Maximo! having egged the psychotic Pedro on, has left.  Pedro takes out the gun.  We are shifted outside the door when we hear the sharp report of one gunshot,

BOOM!   "AAAAAGHHH  PEDRO!  PEDRO!"

Ahm through with you! Ahm goin' to bed. Have at him, Tof, and the rest of y'all!

JEEZO-FREAKIN-PETE!

I can't even. . .not tonight. . .

Thank you Lila for your great recap. Just a little correction, Osvaldo was trapped in the car and Gael fell outside the car after the accident.

Lila, you hit it. Thank you my dear. Now, I saw gael on the ground outside and os still
Straped in upside down. One of these guys
Heart goes to giana. Im thinkin os, cause the
Parting looks he and sonia gave each other was abit on the " goodby my love" side. I am hopein its not gael, his father just found him
And he just got married, but stuff like that
Happens. Well one of those bros will be the
Doner, cuz pedro can't show straight. Either
Way very sad. Bitter sweet.
Ok I"ll say more later, goin to bed, nighty nite.

No LILA Nooo! Don't go to bed yet---We have to talk! Jeezo-flippity-flappin'-Pete!
Oh the carnage! Oh the humanity! (Oh wait, that was the Hindenburg). Well, this thing IS going down in flames... Three potential donors, and the lady needing the heart aparentamente dead too.

I can't even begin to say how much enjoyment your recaps have added to the Patio. For now let me just say thank you for this one. It was the flaming cherry on the flaming cake.

"Fiorella doesn't say such things but her face looks like, 'The f*ck!'" Yup, look around the Patio, our faces, too.

I'm still impactada. Will be interested to weigh in with you all tomorrow.
Again, Lila, you are one of the great ones.

J in Flippin' Oregon

Gracie Marla, Nina & J..tummy upset.. See you in morning.. Will also fix accident scene!

Buongiorno a tutti!

Mille grazie, Marla, Nina and J in Oregon! Peeps, I had to get some sleep, got work this morning and, can't blame it on the show, my tummy was already acting up but I'm all better now and the MIVAC Patio is open for cussin', fussin', kvetching, group support and heck, y'all can even cast some spells on this wretched crew.

What are these people smoking writing this swill? This is NOT LOVE!! This is an indication that Pedro needs emergency psychiatric hospitalization and treatment, and NOT by Alina! He is a danger to himself and others. This episode he had a psychotic break for crying out loud! This is NOT LOVE!!

I'm sorry, Pedro. I want my man whole, heart and all. I want him able to live and love with me, body and soul. I want to feel, see, and participate in the love he expresses from his spiritual heart and his physical heart in his own body. I love my siblings but if the Lord calls them home because of a heart condition I will be sad but I will know they are safe in His Arms and we will grieve them together in each other's arms. I am sure Fiorella feels the same way!

"My love will conquer death but she will never get over the death of her sister!"

Do you think she'll get over your SUICIDE you, you......okay, you're sick, I won't call you names!

Your letter, your "logic", your visit by your satanic grandpappy mean you need help and Fifi needs to get her mommy and daddy and get the HELL up out of El Rancho de los Wackos!

I repeat, JEEZO-FREAKIN-PETE111

Oh, I fixed the accident scene! Thanks, Marla and Nina!

First Lila...you are amazing and made a lovely recap our of the schlock of last night.

My overall reaction as I tried to take it all in was "SERIOUSLY???"

Ok, loved the sweet nuptials. But everything else, painful.

Still hate this Rox needs to be pregnant to know what her mother sacrificed thingie...yeah, later. After school and a wedding and establishing her practice. And I still twitch at the whole Quina thing anyway...she almost created a monster in that girl until Rox met Bennie and the Italian jets. But whatever...at least the girl has a real family now, not the dysfunctional mess she had been a part of.

Boy they really did the right turn on Asshat to get him back to being the jerk extraordinaire, so it would have to be him to get the lucky heart donor. There would be no justice or sensibility to this whole "fairy tale" to bump off Gael. The tale of Petey's idea should showcase how awful it would be for Gia to know her hubby is living in her...it's not romantic, it would be cruel.

As for Petey's big brain-fart plan...good lord. Of course, Sergio spawned this guy, so I guess that explains a whole lot. Inept as he is at anything, hoping he missed in his boozed up haze. Aw, Fifi, got yourself a gem there.

Can I just say in that scene with Papa and Petey...not even a contest on the hotness meter to me. We need a TN with a middle aged couple as the main focus and cast this guy as the lead. I would so watch...even on mute.

After last night, this show definitely needs to wrap. They've jumped the shark so many times, I think they are losing their grip and it's turning to fish food fast.

Daisynjay

Grazie tanto, Lila. This was a shocking turn of events. But that's what Televisa has been about this year.

And no episode tonight. Cruel and unusual punishment.

Osvaldo is being an ass again. Is this his anvil? Does Sonia deserve to end up a widow with a baby to raise alone? The one thing I will say is that Fiorella doesn't deserve to lose Pedro or Gianna after all this and if Gianna survives she doesn't deserve to lose Gael.

I don't understand how the company began going downhill and it took so long. It's more than 20 years since Gabriel's murder. No downward slide takes that long; there had to have been a correction before the Benigno disaster happened and Federica's rant to the board put the final nail in the coffin. What happens to the family fortune now? Without a new infusion of cash they will need to sell the company at a fraction of its worth and sell the ranch property.

I had two friends who became pregnant immediately after their mothers' deaths. They kept their pregnancies. The son of one of them will graduate high school this year and have a full scholarship to one of the colleges of his choice.

Uh, Lila you done it justice, of course, and love you for it.

ACorp had a shot (pardon the pun) at solvency when the board demanded Petey step down as President and Eloisa protected the boy, told them to stuff it, causing the Japanese to withdraw their business. The rapid decent happened on Petey's watch but it was his grandmamma's insistence to keep it in the hands of her favorite grandson that done em in.

Petey has always been a fraidy cat and coward. The rooster haircut, beard and tattoos didn't fool me.

My only guess is the writers believed his sacrifice is romantic but if they wanted it so make it heroic. You know, Pedro dies while trying to diffuse a bomb placed under Gianna's bed by the family of a rival heart patient while Fifi wails, refusing to leave. What the producer & writers didn't expect, I expect, is Ela Velden and her character Gianna (and side kick Gael) would steal the show right out from under Jose Ron and Livia Brito.

Helloisa definitely screwed up by not disciplining Sergio back when. I'll never understand that. Assvaldo screwed the company when he sold all the stock in one swell foop to Benigno (against Pedro's instructions because he wanted to be an ass).

Notice that the "rooster" (is that really what it's called?) look is now gone and his hair is normal? JPM's hair looks normal now, too. He looks much better in PyP than he did in most of this.

Mille grazie, Daisynjay!

Lord, girl, you spoke the truth in every line! ITA about the lesson through pregnancy. Yes, Quina DID create a monster that essentially killed her.

Love this,

Bennie and the Italian jets.

Do you mean in the scene with Papi Chulo and Gael?

This is a gem and ITA:

After last night, this show definitely needs to wrap. They've jumped the shark so many times, I think they are losing their grip and it's turning to fish food fast.

Grazie tantissimo, Urban

Yah, this is Ozzie's anvil and no, Sonia doesn't deserve this. I'm on my way to work, we have two whole days to discuss this travesty so I'll go into it in more length later but seriously, what a crock of craziness.

Urban! Back away from the logic RIGHT NOW! If they had followed your reasoning re the business tanking, the whole suicide attempt and half the show wouldn't happen!

I see you down there Tofie, girl let me get to work! See y'all in a bit!

Good morning, Lila, and glad to hear you're feeling better. Great retelling as always. I don't know where you get both your insight, and your willingness to see this through to the bitter end. I hope you're not burning yourself out on this, because I'd like to see your talented work on later projects.

Yeah, Pedro needs psychiatric help. I have no idea how he could equate his demise at his own hand while his wife bangs on the door as an act of love. Sick and twisted. Whatever writer came up with that probably needs a psych evaluation themselves.

It sure looks like Osvaldo's hot headed rudeness has done him in, doesn't it?

Ugh, I don't like it when there are special programs that pre-empt our stories. I don't like specials anyway - never watch them either in Spanish or English.

Thanks again, Lila. Gee, you are doing the last three programs of the series. Serious thanks to you!

David

Aw man! Lila, as I watched this episode, I was already feeling your pain for having to recap it. The only bright spot was the wedding. Fabulous work, as always, Lila!

Well, I guess it's kind of original that in the final episodes the characters are the ones doing themselves in, instead of the villains in some final grandstand (Aitana or Freddie). Just makes it painful, instead of entertaining.

Osvaldo conveniently forgot that HE schemed with Benigno, Aitana, and even Freddy to bring down the company. So if they were to blame for the final slide of ACorp, then he is too.

Awwww, mille, mille grazie, David!

Girl, ya'll keep me going! I love our discussions and rantings and this episode should certainly generate both!

You know. I don't what a whole lot of novelas but there are sick trends, rape as a casual plot device, the fascination with incest and the one this episode brings us and ITA:

. . .I have no idea how he could equate his demise at his own hand while his wife bangs on the door as an act of love. Sick and twisted. Whatever writer came up with that probably needs a psych evaluation themselves.

Perversion, abomination, vicitimization of innocents and mental illness are not entertaining to me. If I want that, I'll listen to the "news". Don't get me to preachin'!

Yah, y'all are stuck with me for the last three shows. This show is a real trip, ain't it?

Grazie, fratello!

Mille grazie, amica mia! Tofie You nailed Petey, honey, I gotta give it to you. I surrender:

ACorp had a shot (pardon the pun) at solvency when the board demanded Petey step down as President and Eloisa protected the boy, told them to stuff it, causing the Japanese to withdraw their business. The rapid decent happened on Petey's watch but it was his grandmamma's insistence to keep it in the hands of her favorite grandson that done em in.

Your scenario for making Petey romantic is much better than this psychotic, explosive bull shit they came up with. ITA about this:

What the producer & writers didn't expect, I expect, is Ela Velden and her character Gianna (and side kick Gael) would steal the show right out from under Jose Ron and Livia Brito.

Damn. Just, damn!

Vivi! Sorellina mia! You're a novela veteran. Have you ever seen a galan do something so absolutely crazy/stoopid??!! I can't believe it! The galan goes frickin' nuts!

Everybody's comments are quotable in their entirety and yours is no exception. This is just damned funny but so true:

Well, I guess it's kind of original that in the final episodes the characters are the ones doing themselves in, instead of the villains in some final grandstand (Aitana or Freddie)

And yah. Osvaldo sooo put some nails in the coffin himself. Conveniently selective memories and denial are this family's stock in trade!

Lila - Bless you, amiga, and thank you for watching this stupid episode and recapping it. Now I know I don't want to watch beyond the G/G wedding scene and the Roxi scene. This episode and the whole Pedro-human sacrifice thing is just an insult to our intelligence. (as if we haven't been sufficiently insulted already) THIS is the reason I hit bottom and swear off Telerisa telenovelas from time to time. I'm going to watch Quien? over on Telemundo, once this is done. Argh...

"Perversion, abomination, victimization of innocents and mental illness are not entertaining to me. If I want that, I'll listen to the "news". Don't get me to preachin'!"
Lawsy sakes alive, amen, sister!!!

So Gael got thrown from the car, eh? Nice PSA for using not seatbelts. Gah.

Good thing this show is coming to an end. I'm not sure it was worth it for the sake of improving my Spanish, although my vocab has been expanded.

Doris- It's too bad you're not a night owl. Hotel de los Secretos is wonderful, as have been many of the last few 10pm shows. I think it will most often be the case that Uni shows Televisa's "family/light" tns in the early slots, which will often mean not the best writing/plots.

Oh, yes. That one is also a real vocabulary exercise. Still have to catch up to last night's.

Grazie tantissimo, Doris! Doris. I just don't even know what to say. I love novelas as a vehicle to learn/brush up Spanish but these people are trying to drive me away! Pardon the corny analogy, but this novela was also broadsided and I feel like I have been thrown from the vehicle!

Like Gael, I'll walk away bruised but will live to love a novela another day. But I gotta take a break!

Corazon Indomable/La Gata/La Sombra and now this! Galan goes nutso!

Vivi, too bad I'm not a night owl as well but if those listed above are family light, Televisa needs an intervention! They weren't all dark, kind of like stupid/brain dead/dark/CRAZY!

SHEESH!

What I was trying to say was, pedro can't shoot straight. Its very sad".

Nina, I can come up with a whole lot of words besides sad. I'm not upset, just like, these writers keep violating all kind of personal sensitivities but this is just shockingly STOOOPID!!

My Spanish is very limited, but you don't need a translator for STUPID! I started to give up on this novella in the beginning with all the unnecessary crying, but I gave it a chance and rooted for love even when I wanted to smack people. But this crap here? How do you think killing yourself is the answer of love for your wife so she can have her sister? Her sister dying is horrible, but her sister can't be her man! Good grief!! I was so frustrated watching this episode that I'm not sure how I got through it! Torn between the new Osvaldo (who is loving to his wife) and that Ass that treats everyone else like crap. I have no issue if that Ass dies, but I feel sorry for Sonia and I really didn't think that I could - since the early days of inappropriate office attire and thirsty chick behavior for your husbands cousin. Oh well, at least its almost over sheesh!

Oh and thank you Lila...I couldn't understand it all without you and Sneaky. It seems that the longer I watch these shows, the more near the end of it that I understand almost everything they are saying (until they get to warped speed talking.) So glad all of you contributors are here. Now I can go back and focus on PYP...I'm behind a few eps so I need to catch up.

Mille grazie and Join the chorus, Kendra! This puts Pedro in a category all his own as a "galan." Good grief! Thanks for stopping by Kendra and please hang with us. Only two more shows!

ITA,with the rants that I've read a few minutes ago. How could he possibly get it into his brain that fiorella would not be OK losing her sister but would ok losing her husband? seriously he is crazy and I totally agree with what you said about the writers needing psychiatric evaluation this has nothing to do with love this is insanity. but then look at the family that he is a part of the people are uber nutz.
Theres no show tonite. Is there an episode
Tomorrow nite? If not, ok we stew until monday.
That big screen that is behind the desk In the meeting room at Acorp where every now and then you see Maximos giant head up here and then all the industry that acorp is now involved in, they really need to delete ugly Maximos picture because this whole mess started with him stealing from his brother and then having his brother killed and then locking up his daughter in law to keep her mouth shut about him having his brother killed and all the other crap that's been going on in that family since him and Eloisa have been at the helm. Now maybe fiorella might
Infuse some of her inheritance into Acorp. If
They want to save it.Of course then she'd own the whole company. I'd rename it. Get as Far away from maximo as possible. Totally erase any memory of Acorp. Cuz its
Got blood all over it. And look at what pietro thought would be a good idea to help his sister in law. the cures kept on going to the next generation. Good riddance acorp.
Lila, this isn't the end. You'll be recapping
Other tns right?!?!? I hope so you're a gem
Girl, a tolal gem. Thank you. can't wait to read recaps of the last two or three?

While I have so much to enthusiastically say about the recap, I find I have next to nothing to say about the episode.

“He is handsome in his suit and she is radiant with love despite her frailty” – how lovely and touching Lila.

You made a beautiful pearl from an irritating, sandy oyster from which this dreck came. Whatever were the writers thinking?

"I guess his job was to pass out the booze after everybody learned that ACorp went belly up", "it immediately saps the fragile optimism" and "Osvaldo and Gael continue to bark at each other vociferously" were among my many favorites.

I admit my heart fluttered a bit at the lovely “delicate little white flower” ring Gael gave Gianna. No diamond could have shone so brightly.

I will admit that the events were executed fairly well last night.

After many years of watching TNs, I cannot believe that Pedro would actually have shot himself but one should always be prepared for any and every event.

The comments today were all exceptional. I feel like cutting and pasting everything so will merely say thank you to everyone for your wisdom and humor.

Lila, you have an appreciative, attentive audience here. We are so grateful for all your enthusiasm, insight and support.

So, now, just Friday and Monday...will have to wait until then.

Diana

Thing is Nina should the ultra rich daddy of Fifi bail the company out and allow Petey to run it the same will happen again. Petey is way over his head here and we haven't even gotten to how mentally unstable he is. I mean we shouldn't be surprised with all the alcoholism, drug addiction, killin, swindling, bossing and down the nose looking of all the family. Get some new blood in there and let Petey play in the yard with blocks.

Nina! Thank you for brining this up! I can't believe I didn't make a crack about it in my recaps:

That big screen that is behind the desk In the meeting room at Acorp where every now and then you see Maximos giant head up here and then all the industry that acorp is now involved in, they really need to delete ugly Maximos picture because this whole mess started with him stealing from his brother and then having his brother killed and then locking up his daughter in law to keep her mouth shut about him having his brother killed and all the other crap that's been going on in that family since him and Eloisa have been at the helm.

Amen, sister! I'm telling you! Maximo is the devil incarnate and he has been coming back in "the flesh" at will to try to mold Pedro in his image. Remember how Pedro used to play checkers with Maximo! at the beginning of the show?

Here's what is really likely to happen because Fiorella "loves" Pedro so much:

Now maybe fiorella might Infuse some of her inheritance into Acorp. If they want to save it. Of course then she'd own the whole company.

Now. Here is what's NOT likely to happen:

I'd rename it. Get as Far away from maximo as possible. Totally erase any memory of Acorp. Cuz its
Got blood all over it.

You said it, Nina!

Yes, there is a show Friday, next to the last and the last one is Monday, February 22!

Amen, Tofie @12:11!

This IS indeed about the perilous and catastrophic road the megalomaniacal, psychotic and ruthless Patriarch led his whole family down:

. . . Petey is way over his head here and we haven't even gotten to how mentally unstable he is. I mean we shouldn't be surprised with all the alcoholism, drug addiction, killin, swindling, bossing and down the nose looking of all the family.

All this led to more of the same: mental deterioration and psychotic breaks, illusions of grandeur and obsession with revenge against one's own family; murder, attempted murder, and now (attempted) suicide via a delusion of being someone's personal savior!

This fairy tale has turned into a frickin' horror story!

Seriously, Peeps. Don't worry about Lila. At this point I'm laughing my ass off! What a crock!

Thank you Lila, At this point I'm thinking most of us are laughing along with you.

Somewhere during last nights' show, my beanie popped off and is revolving slowly on the ceiling fan.

Looks like Os is the winner of the heart sweepstakes. Gianna is flatlining you say? Mere details.

Petey either missed completely, shot himself in the knee (and will have his arm in a sling and a tiny bandage on his forehead) or else he shot at Maximo and narrowly missed Fiorella on the other side of the door. You're right Lila, what a crock! Yet you manage to spin straw into gold night after night. Thanks oooodles!

Lila, this is a warning.

The Mexican-aired finale ran 1:55 without commercial breaks, so unless Univision limits the commercials some things will be missing. There were also two alternate endings to the series that were only shown on Televisa's website. I hope neither of those will be shown here.

Grazie tantissimo, Emilia!

Oh, thank you for sending my laughter into even higher gales of hilarity:

Somewhere during last nights' show, my beanie popped off and is revolving slowly on the ceiling fan.

Oh, gosh! That is truly rich and visual! I love it!

Oh, my! You're killing me, Emilia!

Petey either missed completely, shot himself in the knee (and will have his arm in a sling and a tiny bandage on his forehead) or else he shot at Maximo and narrowly missed Fiorella on the other side of the door.

Emilia, wasn't it you that came up with the house call heart transplant? Girl, you are a hoot!! PLEASE hang with us for the next two shows to see what other crazy shit they come up with!

OMG, Urban! Like I said above. Let's see what other crazy shit they come up with! (I beg the pardon of any sensitive eyes and ears viewing this blog. I haven't been real potty-mouthed but this thing evokes vocal diahrrhea!)

Urban, thank you! Okay. Let's get ready, Peeps for full-on turds of foolishness or hacked up crap and farts!

Jeezopete!

"Spanish is very limited, but you don't need a translator for STUPID!"

BEST LINE TODAY!! Brava Kendra.

About sums up this whole show now.

I agree Vivi, though I was a night person for many a year, my job now demands a little earlier start time in the office and so I was usually hitting the sheets M-Thu between 10 and 11--but boy, El Hotel just sucked me right in. So it's a little less sleep, and a bigger coffee in the morning. Absolutely worth it.

I'm beginnning to think the 7:00 pm EST time slot is cursed. Use to like the shows in this slot, but you're so right Lila, it's been one hit-the-head-on-the-wall show after another. Some of the acting in Sombra kept that tolerable.

Maybe we need tonight off to prep for the insanity of the Finales. have that Vino at the ready!!

Daisynjay

Ha ha ha, Lila, you're awesome. This crap definitely calls for potty mouth to the MAXIMO!!!

Daisy, I'm GLAD this ain't comin' on tonight!

It's almost over, ANON! Come on out of the shadows. Give us a handle. We may fuss and cuss but we don't bite.

Lila, you just keep getting better and better! I get caught up in your delicate romance-novel prose for the touching love scenes and the high drama you put in the big happenings and then you make me burst out laughing with something like this:
"At the hospital, Gianna is tanking like ACorp."
I love it! Thanks so much for all the work you've put in to this!
Suffering through this last episode with Pedro was really too much for me. One or two episodes ago when we first started to read his mind about doing ANYTHING to get a heart for Gia, my first thought was that he would search medical records, find the perfect match, and then kill that potential donor. I think I would have liked him better if he had taken that path. Oh well, he's just not that kind of guy, is he?
Looking forward to your next two installments - gracias otra vez!
Ann C

Mille grazie, Ann C! You are too kind!

I've been as fierce a defender of Pedro and Fior3ella's love as they were, especially after they finally shook the Walking Dead and got married. I remember waxing joyful about how the show really had the potential to get good now and I really believed it! I especially have defended Fiorella who has stuck by Pedro through all the rejection, hostility and even murderous plotting they threw at her but THIS? This is just over the top. The Angeles are a bunch of sick puppies! That's a phrase writ large in this story and Pedro put the exclamation point behind it last night. Maximo and Eloisa drove their family to drug addiction, alcoholism, depression, delusion, sexual depravity, amoral psychosis. and murder.

If Santino and Julieta want to preserve their daughter's sanity and life, they need to get her out NOW and go back to Italy!

should I pretend that I was being cool and put that 3 in there on purpose or. . .oops! Too late, I just outed myself!

Lila, I thought "Fior3ella" was some kind of secret code...
Okay well, did Pietro think about this: say his plan worked (although why shoot himself before the ambulance gets there, Helllloooo, his heart would already be dead)... anyhoo, say his plan worked, they transplant his heart into Gia, and she ends up dying anyway. So now Fiorella has NO sister and NO hubby. Mr Smart Pants didn't think about that one, did he?

J in O

Oh Lila, you did a fabulous job with what was the worst, silliest, more irritating episode every filmed. Good Lord! we've often wondered how wishy-washy Pedro could be our "hero" and last night just showed absolutely that the lad is an idiot. Pure and simple. Granted, our chirpy Fiorella is no brain surgeon herself, but still....

Your recap was by turns lyrical and lovely, then plain-talkin' pure jeezopete down home Lila. WAY BETTER THAN THE EPISODE. I was so irritated watching it, I gave myself indigestion. So not surprised that you had a little tummy trouble last night also.

This show is BAD. And getting WORSE. But the recaps are pure gold. Thanks Sneaky Two Shoes as well. Alas, I always manage to miss your recaps, but glad Lila is not sinking on this Titanic of a telenovela on her own.

Gold Medals for our Recappers. And God save us from another one like this.

And along those line J in O, I believe there is more to a definite heart donor match than just blood type. So he shoots, they take him in and darn...no match.

Like I said, Fi has herself a real live one there. Lord help the poor kiddies because that Angeles gene pool is just all kinds of wrong.

Gael should, once well ( I REFUSE to believe him our of the picture), take Gia and both get down on their knees and thank the heavens that he is NOT an Angeles after all. For all the crap that poor girl went through, she should get the best ending and prize galan. I'm so indifferent to Fi and Petey, it's kind of sad.

Daisynjay

J! I'm so glad you're back.

J. Pedro is sick. Mr. Sicky pants! He's been sick during this whole thing. I think the novela should be watched by a Psych 101 course or some Psychiatric Residents to see how many diagnoses he can come up with. Remember his "relationship" with Tania. He was holding her prisoner in that apartment/cage he had her imprisoned in; he was paranoid about the media finding out about her, about them; he helped drive her to alcoholism and an "accidental" plunge off his balcony. His grandmother had simultaneously infantalized and overwhelmed him with a company that, according to her, started dying the moment his falsely-revered grandfather swindled and murdered his own brother. . .

. . .I could go on. Pedro is and was sick and we were suckered in to watching a story that should've ended on a psychiatrist's couch or at a cathedral with a Padre like the one from Sombra.

I feel dirty. . .

Grazie tantissimo, JudyB! Yaaay!! I've been waiting for you! Mille grazie, amica!

Good Lord! we've often wondered how wishy-washy Pedro could be our "hero" and last night just showed absolutely that the lad is an idiot. Pure and simple. Granted, our chirpy Fiorella is no brain surgeon herself, but still....

Judy, Judy, Judy! You've been watching these things a long time: have you EVER??? Good Lord, indeed!

Oh, JudyB, thank you for your kind words! This thing is a trip and I'm glad it's almost over! God save us from another atrocity like this, indeed! Gracious!

Gael should, once well ( I REFUSE to believe him our of the picture), take Gia and both get down on their knees and thank the heavens that he is NOT an Angeles after all.

Amen, dAISY!

Santino, Julieta, Fifi, Gael, Gigi, Roxana, heck, Simoneta, Domingo and Fidel

RUN!! RUN!!! RUN AS FAR AND FAST AS YOU CAN!!

Lila girl you got me laughin out loud again.
I wonder if the directors are writers ever get
On line and read what the fans think. This
Stuff would have them rollin with laughter.

I told yall pedro can't shoot straight. He should have been in that board room locked
In so he could have missed his head and shot That screen when maximo picture came up again.

Sonia's voice was a bit off, so Im glad they let the original artist come in and finish singing it while gia was tankin like acorp and asswaldo and gael was crashing like wall street on steroids. Bless her heart she was tryin.
I have a confession. Months ago when I was
Lookin at some .....what do you call em capitulos from the future of this TN, it was
the one where pedro tried to off himself.
I did not know what led up to it. NowThis was before He and fi even thought about gettin hitched.
So I thought I would just keep watching to see what would lead up to it but man I never thought it would be slap down stupidity.what
Were the writers thinkin......O wait maybe it
Was the happy koolade they had on brake.

Yall its been a hoot. So glad I found this link.
I never thought I could have so much fun with people I only get to talk to on line site
Unseen. Yall are some nice folk. And your comments, so thought provoking and funny.

Thanks yall, and lady Lila!!!! Thank you :-D

The sad thing is we that we have hung in there with MIVAC, hoping the characters and the story would improve,,, and it never did ~sigh~

Thank you Lila for your hard work and for your humor. I loved this line: "Sergio actually attended this meeting in an official function for the very first time. I guess his job was to pass out the booze after everybody learned that ACorp went belly up."

How ridiculous for Pedro to think that he could shoot himself in a way that would leave his heart functioning while his brain was dead.

This telenovela has been a little hard for me to take, not because it's stupid, but because a few years ago one of my fellow Spanish students was in an airplane crash. The small plane went nose-down and she had severe injuries that caused her brain to stop functioning. At the memorial service, her daughter said that she had donated her organs. Margo was a beautiful woman, inside and out.

Well, the only thing that did improve was Adela's hairstyle. Kudos for that. 🙄

Doris- I have to admit that I did not stick with this tn through thick and thin. I abandoned it early, but kept reading the recaps. I only came back when Pedro finally found his pair, dumped Aitana at the altar, and he and Fi got together.

But I must say, this is nowhere near as bad as Corazon Indomable (and from reading recaps, La Gata). Sure, this one many times seemed like it was written by 10 year olds. But CI often felt like it was written by 2 year old monkeys, on drugs. There is just no comparison.

Oh good afternoon my dear friends. What can I say that you all haven't already commented? I am enjoying all your opinions. I understand your madness for what Pietro wants to do. He is not even thinking in how this will traumatize his poor mother that spent 2o years locked in a mental clinic. I like how Pilar despite everything is probably the most normal person in that family and has that strong mother instict. I remember that when this passed on Mexico, people in twitter criticized hardly what Pietro was planning to do. Also they criticized all the whole Pietrella being brothers mess.

I think we all already know who is gonna be Gianna's heart donor. That scene of Sonia and Osvaldo kissing forever was a little sad. It seems like if they both sensed that something bad would happen especially Sonia. She doubted in leaving. Oh despite everything, I love this couple and I feel bad for Sonia because they are gonna ruin her special day and more sadly her happy pregnancy. And well after all, also for Osvaldo because he is not gonna see his son grow and he wanted so much to be father but guess he has to pay for all his evil and maybe the death will give him that peace that his tormented soul has needed all life. Well at least he was fortunate not to have to put a foot in jail and perhaps his family will remember him as the angel that saved Fiorella's sister and not as a traitor or killer.

Aleta....I am so sorry to hear about your friend Margo. This must indeed be a painful part of the story for you.

But it touches my heart to know that this lovely woman was able to bless many people by donating her organs. Hopefully, her kindness and beauty lives on in those cells and will bless the recipients not only with renewed life but with greater goodness and generosity as well.

I just had flashbacks to the deaf-mute underage sister in CI being raped and impregnated, and no one doing anything to figure out who did it, punish them, or to get the girl the emotional help she needed to deal with her situation. OMG, when I think about it again my pressure goes up. Gi has been treated like a queen by these writers compared to poor Solita.

Nina@ 4:41. It ain't over, kid. Hang on!

Sadly, Doris@ 4:48, the story has not improved but we have shown an enviable strength of character and we should be proud!

:D

Oh no I remember that poor Solita even presenced how his adopted grandpa died burned and she tried desperately to save him but her raper didn't let her do nothing.

I agree Vivi. I forced myself to watch all of CI and La Gata and this one no where near the stinkers they were. In La Gata they had the one ray of hope die, blind, adopted kicked around but forever optimistic Virginia. That I'll never forgive.

OMG, now I know why I forgot about that. I had to.

Grazie tanto e benvenuto al Patio, Blogger Aleta! You are so welcome!

How ridiculous for Pedro to think that he could shoot himself in a way that would leave his heart functioning while his brain was dead.

Well, Aleta, he'd lived all his life like that and ran a big corporation, no reason for him to think death would be any different!

Awww, I am sorry to hear about your student. I hope some of our silliness has brought a smile to your face. Subject matter can hit home and hit hard sometimes. I've experienced that myself.

Please stay with us till the end, Aleta. This is a faithful Patio and even though the writers have disappointed us, we have remained a close knit and fun group!

Don't let MIVAC bring us down, Peeps!

Power to the Peeps!

OMG, Vivi! I am so glad I was not eating or drinking when I read this:

But CI often felt like it was written by 2 year old monkeys, on drugs.

Lawd, y'all killin' me!

Jeez, how did the word "Blogger" get in there? Benvenuto Aleta!

Hmmm ... did either Pedro or Osvaldo register as an organ donor? I know Papi Chulo and Gael did, but can anyone's organs just be taken willy nilly? THINK, Pedro, THINK!! Oh, I'm sure he missed, but if he hadn't ... I ... just ... can't - hey, Beanie, get back here!!
:-)
Nick

Tofie, Doris, Vivi, Urban and all, this one definitely does not reek the way CI and LG did but for the total violent meltdown of the galan and violation of the type of story it's supposed to be, it's a special kind of bad. I think the only way I could be more shocked and disappointed would be if Pedro went to the hospital and unplugged Gigi from everything so she could die, and then kill Fifi so she wouldn't feel the pain of Gigi's death and then kill himself so he could be with Fifi wherever he thought they were all going.

It's like bait and SHOOT!

Good question, Nick. Pedro must have. But then, it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't.

I believe after one of the appointments, Fi, Pedro and Gael signed up to be organ donors. Question is, is Assvaldo registered? I highly doubt it!

Thanks, Vivi! Ewww, that would be bad. But, you know what? If they didn't cover him registering, they will just fudge and say he did. Just like I think Dante's statement about Gabriel's birth. I still think that was a mistake.

Oh Lila what a tragic story you armed with what you mentioned about Pietro, Gianna, and Fiorella. Oh you should write novelas.

Vivi- Just the idea of Assvaldo probably being Gianna's heart donor is a bit scaring. Ok he has changed a little bit but just not enough to be thinking in donating his organs and least to Gianna, the girl that he has threatened numerous times of killing and throwing her to the dogs. But with these writers everything can happen.

Marla, thank you! I think we're supposed to believe he has changed and that his anger at Gael for exposing their mother's affair is justified. So, this last bit of nastiness I guess allowed us not to feel as sorry for him when he gets killed. His last words were "I'm glad you're not my brother!" and then BAM! that was it. They probably also think it's poetic justice that his heart learned to love again and then he "gives it away" to Gianna whom he once did torment so much.

I can't even think of them allowing Gael to "give" his heart to Gianna. Y'all think I'm fussing now? Y'ain't heard NUTHIN' yet!

I've loved the summary's you've made Lila! I've been reading them for when I have to wait to watch the episode and enjoyed them. Also the comments on here crack me up. This was a great episode, but it made me cry. I wish a guy like Pietro existed. That's some guts. Kudos to Pedro Damian. He made this romantic Cinderella story quite refreshing.

Grazie tantissimo, Sheila and kudos to you for going against the tide of our fussing with this:

his was a great episode, but it made me cry. I wish a guy like Pietro existed. That's some guts. Kudos to Pedro Damian. He made this romantic Cinderella story quite refreshing.

Your comment is refreshing. I'll speak for myself here. As the recapper we can often influence the flow of comments. From time to time I realize this and invite people to express a contrasting opinion. I seriously mean that! All perspectives and opinions are welcome and I hope nobody on here is hurt by the whipping we sometimes give these stories.

Benvenuto al Patio, Sheila, and please hang with us to the end!

Aleta, welcome to our warm patio...nice to hear from you.

My experience--in Florida--was that one can agree to donate organs from a deceased spouse, even though the spouse did not sign an organ donor card. Of course probably different in Mexico. If this is supposed to be a PSA for organ donation, the writers sure went about it funny. Also, Gianna would have undergone weeks of counseling and preparation before a transplant, instead of just "oopsie, when a heart shows up, we'll give you a jingle..."

J in Oregon
(where nothing is going to make this better)

I'll admit to rolling my eyes and actually laughing out loud at Pedro's drama in his study last night, but I'll also admit to following this novela through to the end without regrets. We have suffered through some ridiculous plot complications (the acid in the eye by Fiorella against her soon-to-be mom was one of the worst). We have seen some beautiful people, some interesting characters, some absolutely GREAT fashion displays by Freddie. We have had some good Spanish practice, some fabulous recapping and some warm, friendly and very funny companionship here on the patio. No matter how they end this, I have no regrets - and I thank you all for keeping me company. Special thanks to our faithful and talented Lila, and to Sneaky for stepping up to fill in - and to 5 ft for putting in so much effort here before she gave up on us. (I hope this novela hasn't been the last straw for you, 5 ft. Please come back to Caray after your well-deserved hiatus.)
Ann C

Ann, you said it all...in the end it's not so much about the show as it is about the whole experience of sharing it. With a group of very special people!

J in Oregon

I have not been watching MIVAC regularly as Fi's hissy fits were too much for me. Am now back watching and wonder what happened to the older man who wanted to marry Fiorella?

I am missing Sarah. Has anyone heard from her?

Emeraldrose! I remember you, girl! Oh, it's a long story! He is now hooking up with Diana, former gold digger who has gotten religion after a stint in jail wrongly accused of murder. He, Diana, and her son Betito, will form a family.

Oh, Emeraldrose, it's so much but covered in great depth in the recaps!

Thank you Lila. I have always enjoyed being one of the patio peeps. I find the novellas a great help in learning Spanish and so appreciate the efforts that all the recappers put into helping me understand what is going on.

Mille Grazie Lila! I'll hang on. I'm the type of person you encounter that differs opinion from the crowd sometimes. Although I did agree with Maximo( why was this evil man the voice of reason?) about the whole ending everything after finally having Fiorella followimg so many "battles." But in this day in age you don't see a man go far for love anymore.

Buongiorno a tutti!

Today is showtime!

Grazie, Ann C, Emeraldrose and Sheila! Great point, Sheila:

Maximo( why was this evil man the voice of reason?)

Yah. Just one of many reasons why the fussbudget tables are so full! Anyhoo! Another day, another disaster! We'll see what tonight brings!

Lila do you think we will see a last minute jailbreak by Fed so she can wreak havoc at the hospital? It seems our baddies have evaporated out of the ultimas capitulos...
J in O

You know, J, I kinda think so. I can't believe Freddie is going out with a fizzle like that. On the other hand, the galan attempting suicide is such a big deal, I could see that occupying the writers for the last few hours. I wouldn't be surprised if they drop Freddie and Aitana.

They better not kill off gael. Its bad enough
Petey boy tried to off himself, that would just be a total injustice.
You know that was weird letting the one who jumped started the whole angeles nightmare
Now being the voice of reason to a braindead
Acting galan, who is suppose to be smart about handling things under pressure. So....
Patio peeps tonite tonite oh what a mess tonite. Can't wait.

This stoopid storyline of Petey wanting to off himself to give his heart to Gianna (what if he is found too late and the heart is useless???) is a prime example of Darwinism at its finest.

Emilia --- Your entire post cracked me up, especially:

"Somewhere during last nights' show, my beanie popped off and is revolving slowly on the ceiling fan."

and

"Petey either missed completely, shot himself in the knee (and will have his arm in a sling and a tiny bandage on his forehead) or else he shot at Maximo and narrowly missed Fiorella on the other side of the door. " Massive guffaws! You have watched way too many telenovelas.. BwaHahahahahaaaaaa.

Doris. . .Emilia sounds like a future recapper!

AND, I was thinking of how to work natural selection into this discussion. You nailed it:

This stoopid storyline of Petey wanting to off himself to give his heart to Gianna (what if he is found too late and the heart is useless???) is a prime example of Darwinism at its finest.

Hee hee!

Thanks guys, If only I spoke Spanish. Or could write. Snark is pretty easy - I raised three kids! The rest? Not so much....

Looking forward to tonight's lunacy. We don't have a cat so I'll just hide behind Mike and peek over his shoulder.

You are so funny, Emilia! I have missed your presence on the blog line and in my life! Let me know if you're ever passing through Columbus again.

Bongiorno, amici!

This weekend's edition of Crimes of Fashion is devoted to the del Angels and the folks in their orbit. Enjoy!

A question for Lila - or for anyone who has an answer: most of the novelas here on Caray for the last many years have at least five recappers signed up. This one only had Lila and 5ft at the start. Why weren't there more volunteers? (Just curious.) And, let me take this opportunity again to say what a great job you have done.
Ann C

There were four of us, Ann, but work and other personal responsibilities intervened for my teammates. It happens. Sneaky Two Shoes came in at a time when there were just two of us left and after it was only me she stated and took two days while I took the other three. I think we all realize this is a volunteer gig and that our lives outside the blog come first. I think some teams have four people or two people will share a day. I think I actually shared a day with Urban back on CME for part of it's run. Pardon me if I'm wrong, Urban. . .my memory is sometimes wobbly (to use a Winnie the Pooh-ism).

Thank you for the crimes of fashion, Urban Haven't looked at it yet. Got some things to tend to. BRB. :D

Thank you, Ann! Thank you so much or Mille grazie!

It wasn't me, Lila. I didn't blog CME.

I shared Mondays for the first half of LQLVMR with Gloria until the Tuesday person needed to cut back, at which time I took over Mondays completely. That was when I began ghost-writing Dashiell Hammett.

Okay. . . .must've been that I wanted to share a day with you! Sorry!

:D

Ann C- I think you have to ask everyone else, not Lila (or Sneaky), why there were no more volunteers. Recappers come from all of us folks on the blog. I'm usually a sucker for jumping in to help recap when a tn lacks enough recappers. That's why I volunteered to take Countx's spot on Yo No Creo en los Hombres when he had to back out, while at the same time subbing on La Vecina 1-2 x every other week, and recapping Fatmagul on Telemundo 4-5 days a week. Whew! That answers why I didn't jump in to help with this one. But Lila and Sneaky have done an amazing job keeping this going, despite the lack of additional volunteers, on this tn. Bravo, ladies!!

I think we've reached a critical limit on the number of usual recappers, especially with the loss of Sara and 5 Ft. Latina/Kat. I'm really appreciative of new folks, like Nandicta, stepping out of the shadows and taking a stab at recapping, because we really need it right now. Hopefully, some other brave souls will step forward soon.

Emilia, I think your comment is side-bar worthy:

"...my beanie popped off and is revolving slowly on the ceiling fan."

I can't get that image out of my mind!
:o)
J in O

I've really enjoyed reading these recaps and
Comments. Im all tapped out. I'll refuel and
Laugh and get pissed (that's if they do something stupid and kill the wrong person off) & get teary eyed at the losses and happy for those that get the long awaited happiness
They always wanted. About an hour & 1/2 till
launch time. At least over here in the east.
Talk to yall later. Lord willin. :-D

Thank you, thank you Lila for writing this recap, I'm laughing so hard reading it and your comments, enjoying this way more than the epi.

Seriously who does that!!?
Also granpa Max to the what? rescue? worsening?
Whatever writers

reading all the rants in the comments makes me feel better
now I don't have to rant, ya'll did it for me :)

If Gael is dead I may have to stop watching telenovelas (I may have to, but I probably won't anyway)

Grazie tantississimo, Sneaky! sorellina mia! I have to admit. When I think of you guys probable reactions to silly little things I say, it puts the wind in my sails and ththe discussion afterwards is just the bestest payoff

Tonight is going to be good no matter what happens: another shocking turn of events. . .a miracle. . .whatever it is you all will put the right spin on it just like you always do. Less than a half hour to show time!

Vivi. Thank you for that thoughtful answer and appeal for recappers. This ride is almost over guys. Let's see it out with a bang!
