Sueno de amor, #14 - 03/28/16 P.E. Teacher needed - Requirements: good looking guy, with great body, killer smile and very complicated family life
This felt like a filler episode, so I kind of rambled a lot. Looking forward to your ramblings in the comment section.
They need to find La Sombra, that is their top priority!

Hope we aren't going back to the hospital with Pedro. I hate that we are being set up for that eventuality. Ugh!
Ernesto was right on one thing: calling Mario "mandilón" "whipped" by his wife. Sorry, but Mario is just pathetic and tedious. Fire Erasmo, really?
Tracy was so mean to her own daughter. Maybe La Sombra can kidnap her and nobody pay her ransom (if she is not La Sombra).
Oh, no! A black orchid is La Sombra's calling card!!!!
I also saw Pato very happy during the jumping thing and now seems to be blaming Luca for scaring her like that. Nobody was twisting her arm during the jump...
Silvana hating Mario is not the worst that could happen, considering the way she treats him already.
Paulo and the other bully address the other boy saying ''Holi, crayoli'' but the actual greeting is ''hola crayola'' from a crayon commercial.
What Adán was drawing was some sort of advertising for their business, but Espe and Ric made fun if him because they saw it didn't look like a torta, but more like other things. For me, these 3 guys are so not important for the story to get going that I pray virgen of the piss that Nacho go back to Begoña so they disappear for good.
I also noticed that Ric imaginary friend's name is Amelio, Ernie's secretary is Arleth and Salma's BFF is Ariana, what's up with all the names starting with an A?
"He (Ernasto) acts like a jerk with his wife and is sickly obsessed with an old flame but he sometimes shows moments of clarity and common sense" I'd say that is also applicable to Ricky cept the clarity and common sense part.
I must have missed it (couldn't focus on this silly show so baked a blueberry coffee cake) for I'm sure Tricky Ricky offered Esperanza an explanation last night why he never contacted her for 20 years. Wait, did Esperanza ask him?
Good point on Ric and Ernesto being kind of like the same in many aspects.
Pablo, I admit I don't bother keeping track with the very secondary characters' names - they just take up time and they are a chore. Same for the stooges, I just ffw most of their antics.
Jarifa, I still don't get how Esperanza is allowing her ill son to work at night in a club, but her daughter has the time to date SuperLuca and have all kinds of amazing adventures with him (eye roll). Why isn't she working, too? She seems well enough and Pedro is really sick. Is diabetes supposed to cause so many troubles when a good treatment is followed?
In addition to the title, thoroughly enjoyed "(I would say that he’s a good liar, considering how fast he came up with this little lie and the big one that he's been keeping for over 20 years)" and "Adan, the Charming one (so he thinks)" in particular.
Loved your musings on “Ernesto de la Colina is a strange villain” – very well expressed.
“She orders Mario to fire Erasmo, or else she will always hate him”. Umm, isn’t that redundant?
Jarifa, I am alarmed and concerned for Pedro and highly suspect another medical crisis forthcoming. I think he's been through enough? And I agree Adriana, Pato seems to have more than sufficient time to pine over her "moondoggie". A little part time job seems fitting. Esperanza usually seems focused and on point but her allowing Pedro to work those hours is hard to fathom.
Silv's spew is getting increasingly difficult to watch. She really is terrorizing Mario (along with us). Ack.

Erasmo should feel bad about the accident. Building a wall without bracing and supporting it properly to keep it from falling over? Sloppy, Erasmo. I expected better of you. Although thank you for sparing us Kiko's dancing so far.
As to Ernesto's character traits, I tend to think that Osorio does in fact think clarity and common sense are villainous. The "good" characters embody dreamy impractical romanticism.
Luca seems kind of creepy to me. Setting Pato up with all these dramatic "dangerous" situations? It seems like manipulative behavior intended to spike her emotions and get her to bond to him prematurely. And it's working. The first thing with the crane might not have been his fault (OR WAS IT?!) but jumping off the roof and bungy jumping...he seems to have a theme. Get used to living on the edge of a cliff, Pato. How soon can he leave for Járvar? She needs a part time job.
I'm not buying that Rod's Spanish pronunciation would be so bad when he's been hearing his father speak Spanish his whole life. Even Kracy has become fluent already! But hey, Rod will be able to show up all the bullies in English class.
But this couple seems to be destined for perfection, everything about them has to be so incredibly corny and over the top.
Ernesto 's good arguments being blamed on Osorio's twisted thinking - good point!
Diana, I hope Pedro will learn to live with his diabetes and have a normal life. Working in a club would be tiring for a healthy person, who's not also trying to be an architect (tough career ), Pedro has no place being there. We can see him get jealous with Kristel and Erasmo just fine by giving him a realistic life style. How about if Erasmo gets a second job as a bodyguard at the school instead of sick as a dog Pedro working in a antro.
-- Jarifa: About the black orchid being La Sombra's calling card. As a kid, one of my favorite characters was "Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Cambrioleur" (Gentleman Burglar), a suave thief who used charm and cunning to rob the rich. He always left a rose at the scene of the robbery.
-- Pablo: Thanks for mentioning the "Holi, crayoli" greeting. Yet another indication that this show is sponsored by the Crayola people and writtent by people with the emotional maturity of a box of crayons.
Just a wee rectification, Salma's annoying friend is called Astrid.
-- Tofie: They are still dancing around the reason behind Ric's 20-year-long disappearing act. I really hope we won't have to wait until Últimas Semanas to find out. Blueberry coffee cake? Sounds yummy!
-- Diana: "Pato seems to have more than sufficient time to pine over her 'moondoggie'." So true! Someone give that girl a part-time job and a crate of self-esteem.
-- Julia: I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said, especially this: "I tend to think that Osorio does in fact think clarity and common sense are villainous. The "good" characters embody dreamy impractical romanticism." From now on, I'm embracing a WWODSICDTO approach to life! (What Would Osorio Do So I Can Do The Opposite).
Yes.
I fear that something (else) bad is about to happen to Pedro. I hope it's not too catastrophic but Espe needs a wake up call.
