Hi, I finally got it. Now the only thing I would like to know is how to split it so only a fragment shows up in the main page and the rest after you click the link at he bottom. Thanks!
 

Pablo, go into "edit" mode and you will see an icon of a torn page. Mouse onto it and it will show "jump break." Put the cursor in the spot where you want to break the page, click on that icon, and then Save.

I so agree that Esperanza needs to let Ernesto do right by Pato his daughter and pay her tuition and stop being annoying. It is the least he can do.

Mario should stop crying already and do right by his daughter Kristel and tell Silvana off. He also is annoying. The only good thing he did was promote Erasmo.

So, is Pámela La Sombra's daughter? Looks like she just might be a bratty little girl ignored by her parents.

Should be fun times ahead with Félix, Tracy and Silvana monitoring every move by Esperanza and Ricardo.

Pablo, you hit it out of the park!

My favorites included "Sorry, then he continues his uninteresting blabber, with his ''you are the love of my life, you are my dream love! Bla-bla-bla''", "If they get married, will he be able to afford her hair coloring?" and "when a man cries and is not chopping onions, is because something is very very wrong" were among my favorites.

While many women are abused (emotionally and /or physically), men have also been victims. Jarifa, while at first I shook my head in dismay at Mario's tears, I then thought that he was reacting like someone who had been verbally assaulted. I know he loves his daughter but why hasn't he come to her aid? I'm no expert so I don't know if it's cowardice or paralyzing fear.

Ricardo was a good sport about the mop wig. I thought I saw the actor cringe for a split second but he was a good sport and tried to do the best with it. Actors are just like the rest of us - we all have to do things we are not fond of, but we soldier on nevertheless.

Loved the group hug of Erasmo and the kids. He looked so handsome last night.

I'm not sure how Espe and Ricardo will get any alone time, but it will be fun to watch.

Diana, you are probably right about Mario being emotionally abused. It was just so pathetic with him telling Kristel she could always count on him and she telling him she had two strong men (Erasmo and Pedro) whom she could depend on.

-- Jarifa: I agree about letting Ernesto shoulder some of the financial responsibility for Pato's education and maintenance, especially since he contributed nothing for over 17 years. Then again, I see where Esperanza is coming from. She is a strong, proud, warrior mom and I'm not being sarcastic, she really is my favorite character in this show and I'm loving Betty Monroe in this role. So pretty, charming and energetic! I can't believe all the flack she got at the beginning for not being "famous enough" or "attractive enough" to be paired with Cris de la Fuente.

-- Diana: Great observation about Mario being an abused husband. Issues of domestic abuse tend to be overlooked or minimized when men are the victims.

I also liked the scene in the utility closet. That mop wig moment was funny. I wonder if it was unscripted. Ric is swoon-worthy! If only he would hurry up and regularize his situation with Kracy. I just can't root for him while Wife n°1 is still living in his house.

And yes, Erasmo is oh-so-fetching! I just hope they paired him with someone other than Kristel. I'm not feeling the chemistry there.

Uh, did I miss Ricky offering an explanation for dropping off the edge of the world for 20 years? Has Esperanza forgotten Ricky didn't call for 7300 days?

 

Or I wouldn't trust him boiling water, because he could burn it, we say.

They are keeping some stuff from us. Ricardo allegedly told Pedro off screen and we didn't see it. But I am sure Pedro hasn't told Espe because she still keeps saying that she wants to know. AND SO DO WE!!!

I agree with you about not trusting Ric with a plastic butter knife or to boil water. I think maybe the (possibly unintentional) theme of the show will be that it doesn't matter if you're fairly stupid and inept and do the wrong thing a lot of the time; if you keep trying things will eventually work out. Or something like that. Because Ric screws up a lot of things. He bonds with his children by telling them things that are WAY above their pay grade and just terrify them, he uses readily identifiable trained officer tactics when he's supposed to be undercover, he lets the situation with Kracy drag on and on instead of getting her out of his house.

Just how is Principal Crazyeyes running that school anyway? She hires Kracy, who presumably has no teaching degree or experience, and also doesn't she need a work visa? She's supposedly not Mexican, and immigrated on a last-second whim with her husband, which is easy enough to just live there awhile with a rubber-stamp tourist visa, but don't you have to apply for working status? She probably made her own documents with some FakeIDsRUs web site. Why would people pay a ton of money to send their kids to this ragtag school? I guess they do have their own towels with the school crest embroidered; that is quite a draw.

I agree that Ernie should pay Pato's tuition from now on, so she doesn't have to worry about school so much and can spend more time with Luca.

Julia, we're not supposed to look at the logistical details; the Alegria's moved in a single day and Ric&kids had their uniforms ready before we could say Bienvenidos a Mexico. How did they get transferred from their US school so fast? How long before Kracy shows up wearing the same ugly uniform? When will Felix decide to make everyone wear what he's wearing?


 

I agree Ernesto should pay Pato's tuition. Espe's had both the work AND the expense of raising her for her entire life so far and he had an equal responsibility for her existence, so he should contribute. I think a lot of the reason a mother may refuse child support is that if they take the money, the father may think he's more entitled to have a say in the kid's life, but Pato is nearly an adult; she won't be under the authority of her parents much longer anyway and she's strong-minded enough to stand up to Ernesto. Plus, Ernesto is actively trying to woo Esperanza back, so Espe has all the bargaining power here; Ernesto probably won't try to strongarm them with the money since that would piss Espe off. You know, until she actually openly dates or gets engaged to Ric and Ernie blows a gasket.

I think it would be awesome if all the students and staff dressed like Felix. That would be a hoot. Even better is if he could change the musturd uniforms across the street to something snappy and dandyish.

I still don't understand why Espe needs to build her own school. Those poor kids from the groundbreaking or whatever don't go to school at all? Not even the government school of Musturd?
 

I see building her own school as the fulfillment of a personal and professional dream for Esperanza. It is one of her goals. If she has her own school she can run it as she sees fit to best meet the needs of the students which often does not happen be the school public or private but especially public.

Patio peeps, I'm confused. This is most likely due to the fact that I multi-task while watching (and I use that term loosely) this telenovela and have also missed a few episodes. Is Ernesto the father of Pato? Is he the father of Luca? Are Pato and Luca "a couple"? These are my burning questions. TIA, y'all. The rest is fairly easy for me to figure out.
 

I can see why she'd want to, but I don't really understand how it would work. It costs money to keep a school running. If she were running her own school, she wouldn't have time to work at the other schools, so where is her income coming from? What about other staff? Her potential students didn't look like they could pay a lot of tuition. If it's her own school and not a government school, would she get any government money to run it? But not have to do what they say? Seems unlikely. Private donations from philanthropists? Replicate herself and keep the other three jobs at the same time?
 

Doris: Yes, Ernesto is Pato's father, but she only recently met him. Luca has been raised as his son, but is not actually his biological child (mama had an affair). They are SUPER IN LUUUUUUV and stepsiblings. Yes. That is how it is.
 

Doris, Ernesto is Pato's father. Ernesto is Luca's step father not his father and Viviana, Ernesto's wife, is Luca's mother. Btw, Luca also gave Ernesto one of his kidneys when he needed it. Pato and Luca are a couple and are not blood related.

Julia, accumulating the capital to get the school off the ground would be a mammoth project. But, hey, in telenovelalandia miracles happen all the time. :)
 

Julia and Jarifa - Thank you!!!!! Step son Luca makes sense to me now. I was concerned about the "i" word and knew there had to be an explanation.
 

They did give us the incest scare for a moment but clarificad the relationship very quickly.
