NOOO, get away from her!
Pato finally takes Lucas call and set a date to talk, dinner in my house. Peter's treat. And even when she has been very stressed by the video and the Luca no time for her issue, she finds the tim to stop at a SUBWAY and get three for her and Ricardo's kids. I hope the Caray Bingo have this ''shameless product endoresment'' card, because is not placement anymore. This is pushing it down our throats like it or not.

Pedro cooks and Pato thinks he is flavorless, I mean the food, needs more spices and/or salt. Then she shows him the video and he pretends not to be interested. At first he didn't want to see it, but curiosity killed the cat.
Luca, who supposed to eat with Pato so they could talk, is being stuck by destiny, or in this case, the writers, the thing is that now Pato is losing all of her patience and is starting to hate everything Luca does (or not) to solve this problems. She is waiting, but after the paper signing, there are some problems in Coyoacán with permits (5 minutes late) and then there's been an accident in the construction site that only SuperLuca can fix (1 hour late give and take), then an structure fell down and he has to go lift it up (another hour), etc. Not to be poisonous but Ernesto could do that and plot and cheat and threat and so much more... maybe is not just malice what he needs, just sayin'

Iker is dead (another inept that forgot his bulletproof vest at home while on a mission) and seems like he had no family (or they live in Asia and couldn't get here on time) and his only worry was to see Ricardo happy with Esperanza, so his last words to Ricardo were that he needed to start a new life, from scratch.
Still trying to figure out who is now going to help him with his kids, because Andrés is not always available, Ricardo remembers Priscilla from Nueva Luz and finds her husband to give him a little scare. I got nothin' but love for Carmelita Salinas. She had her day and even came out in sexicomedias such as Bellas de Noche. So she wasn't a fichera, pero sí tenía su pegue. :)
Okay, I got the feels seeing Viviana and Mario. I like seeing the development of "second time around" love storylines of adults in novelas. I get bored with the young love stories. I'm talking to you Pato-Luca story writers!!!

What was Ricardo doing with Iker's ashes? Baxter told him that Iker's family lived in South America. Would they not have sent the ashes to them? Did Ricardo abscond with them? Weird.
Rant: Erasmo just becomes less attractive and more selfish all the time. Let me get this straight . . . He feels guilty for Kiko becoming crippled so he borrows money from the local loony loan shark Sansón for Kiko's surgery because his PRIDE will not allow him to accept money from Luca. By doing so, he has placed himself (the sole support of his younger siblings) and them in danger. While he still can get money from Luca, he insists on maintaining his precarious position because of his PRIDE even though Estrella has been threatened with being pimped out by Sansón as repayment. Erasmo is sure looking self centered and selfish at this point. If something happens to Estrella, will he feel guilty when all of this could have been avoided if he did not think of himself and how he felt first, second, third, etc. and by putting his siblings first?
It was funny with Margarita having been some sort of femme fatale in her youth and having had a fling with Gonzalo pre Bárbara.
Ricardo can maybe be recast in a revival of that old tv show "The Equalizer" after his threatening the abuser.
Will Salma be able to get an illegal abortion ? Even if she had her parents' consent, how far along is she anyway? A legal abortion has to happen in the first 12 weeks. Will she get trapped into having to carry the baby to term?
I am liking Begoña and Arleth.
I would guess that Ernesto will offer to pay $$$ for Esperanza's surgery to be moved up.

Thanks, Pablo! I appreciate how you give Ms. Our Only Hope her full name and expansive title every time you mention her; it's only the respect she deserves. Though as you can see, I am far too lazy for such worship. No pedagogical salvation for me!

Wouldn't you be, like, embarrassed to have given yourself and your family much more trouble than necessary? Wouldn't you feel prouder if you'd done the smart thing and made wise use of the resources available to you and gotten a loan from a less thuggish source? Believe me, macho proudsters, the people who have the status you so keenly lack would not hesitate to make use of the better resources freely offered to them! That's how they get to be in better circumstances!
It also totally bugs me when poor characters in telenovelas are "too proud" to accept more money than whatever pittance they were getting before FOR THE WORK THEY ARE DOING because they seem to feel it's charity or something to make an actually decent wage. You're WORKING. RESPECT YOURSELF AND YOUR TIME AND YOUR EFFORTS AND TAKE THE BEST COMPENSATION YOU CAN GET. Sheesh.

The heavy rains have flooded instantly many areas here, but I live in a manufactured (mobile) home and you know how high those are, so my fear is never the floods, but strong winds, tornadoes and such. Thanks to la virgen de la paz, here where I live, everything is fine, no power outages or anything...
