Back to Esperanza and her chemo treatment: There is more info from the chemo info video about living life to its fullest. Esperanza finishes up her first treatment and offers her friendship to Raquel.

Dr. Mireya fills in Ricardo on what she has found out talking to his kids and what they are feeling. They are talking about Abril's mother Cristina and confused about his relationship with her. Also, they are still talking about Esperanza and Selena is still afraid of her mother. Selena sees her mother shooting the hotel door. The kids don't know how to relate to their friends that do have mothers. Dr. Mireya wants Ricardo to clarify things with his kids and to be honest.


Back at the Guerrero house, the topic of discussion is the double wedding and Ricardo and Cristina being there. Esperanza agrees to go with Ernesto.

Ricardo clarifies the situation with the kids about their mother, Esperanza and Cristina. Cristina is his friend and they are just getting to know each other. He explains that his relationship with Esperanza ended. The kids want to know why. He explains that among adults some relationships last a long time and others not so long just like his relationship with their mother. Sometimes in life people change or stop loving each other and that is why relationships end. He then emphasizes that that will never ever happen between him and them. They are together for life. Rodrigo asks if Cristina is his novia. No is the answer. Selena wants to know if Ricardo wants her to be his novia. Ricardo reiterates that they are getting to know each other and that it is not easy, it takes time. Maybe someday in the future she might be his novia. They would support him if that were to happen. They like her. Ricardo agrees they can be his accomplices and he will share each step he takes with them. He reiterates the importance of honesty and truth in the process and how much he loves them.


At Cristina's house it is time for a tea party with her "princess" daughter Abril. Cristina takes this seriously and dresses up formally in a strapless blue ball gown to go as the "queen." Abril is dressed as a princess. They both have tiaras. It comes out that Abril likes King Alegría who makes her mother smile a lot. She explains that when her father locked her up in her room, she escaped through books. Her mother tells her she just proved like many of those books, that life can have a happy ending. The tea party is suddenly interrupted when someone rings the door bell. Cristina thinks it is the sushi she ordered. Cristina goes to answer the door in costume. Surprise: it is Ricardo with a great big gift box and a smaller one on top. He marches right into Cristina's apartment. Seeing her all decked out in her ball gown surpasses any dream he had of her.

Because Viviana has told Mario about the CZ in her wedding ring, he and Viviana bring the ring back to the jeweler for a refund. They have the ring and the bill of sale. They threaten to sue if they do not take care of it.

At Luca's, Luca, Anastasia and Pato are at it. Anastasia seeing Pato at Lucas', complains to Luca that she does not want Pato around her baby. Luca tries to explain that when she leaves the baby with him, it is his responsibility to do as he sees fit. Pato cannot shut up and keeps getting dragged into the mess by Anastasia's insults. Luca tells Pato to keep her cool because Anastasia is just trying to bait her. Finally, Pato shuts up. He tells Anastasia she cannot simply bring and take the baby any time she feels like it. The baby is not a toy. The baby is also his son. Anastasia starts to leave with the baby. Luca tells her they will be in court getting a custody order and a visitation schedule. She needs to call him; not just show up and bring and take the baby whenever she feels like. She threatens to take the baby away so he will never see him again. He warns her that the baby has been registered. He is the father proven through DNA so if she tries to pull something like that or tries to keep him from seeing the baby, she will end up in jail. He dares her to try it. Yes, he will see his son and it will all be arranged through intermediaries like his mother or Eufro. Anastasia puts the baby down along with his diaper bag. Luca tells her from now on all communication will happen through Eufro. Anastasia will not talk to a "maid" like Eufro. She tells Luca to go to hell. Luca informs her that she will respect Eufro but if that is the case she will deal with him through his secretaries because they manage his schedule but she will not be seeing him again. She screams how she hates him in his face. Pato's mouth is going again and Anastasia goes to take a swipe at her. Luca warns her not to try to touch Pato again. He throws Anastasia out. She leaves without the baby. Since Pato referred to him as "mi novio" in the altercation, he knows they are reconciled. Pato wants her ring back, they kiss, the baby cries.

Back with Cristina and Ricardo, she explains why she is dressed like she is: playing with Abril. Sometimes she has worn a hippo costume. Ricardo tells her to let him know when it is a "hippo" day so he can miss it. Abril comes out to see King Ricardo. She invites him to the tea party. In the big box he has brought Abril a doll that looks just like her. He also has a gift for the "Queen Hippo". It is a photo of her reunion with Abril. She puts it out on display in the living room. She thanks him. Without him this happiness would not be possible. He gets a kiss as a "thank you" after he asks for it. Abril peeks out of her room with her doll and sees them kissing. She is happy.

At the Guerrero house, Ernesto is taking care of Esperanza who is in her bed resting. The doctor said that ice chips would help if she had nausea so Ernesto has brought her a paleta (Popsicle/ice bar) (this one looked like strawberry cream) She is not in the mood for it right now. She tells him he does not have to stay there with her. He tells her he WANTS to be there with her. She is in charge of all of his time. She thanks him. He tells her there is nothing for her to thank. He is all hers. They almost kiss when Pedro comes in to check on her. Pedro almost starts to nag at her again about work, etc., but she gets him to shut up before he starts. He is off to get Ara who wants to come and visit her. Esperanza catches Ernesto up on Kristel going to Spain and no longer being with Pedro and on Aranza always having been interested in Pedro. They both agree love is very complicated sometimes.

Back at the jewelry story. The clerk tells Mario each diamond Is authentic, guaranteed and has a serial number. The jeweler tokd her that somebody must have gotten the ring and switched out the stone. Viviana immediately suspects it was Silvana.

Ricardo fills in Cristina on what he told his kids about their relationship. The kids seemed to approve of them being novios in the future but hopefully not the too distant future he jokes. Now she has to talk to her daughter. He thinks that will go just fine since she is already calling him "King Ricardo". The king kisses his queen good night before he leaves.

At Esperanza's, Ernesto says good night "my love". He apologizes for the "my love part" but still tells her he loves her as he leaves. If she needs anything at all he is only 15 minutes away. Esperanza is left sad and pensive.

Pato goes over to Kristel's to lend her a pair of shoes. Kristel is in the shower. Pato tells Kristel she is back with Luca and has brought Kristel the shoes. "Gillette Venus disposable razors for women" is the product placement here. Kristel is oh so so happy with its performance in the shower. She gives Pato one to try out. They are going to have a fine old time at the wedding.

It is the wedding day! Margarita is getting ready with help from Salma, Kristel amd Silvana. The doorbell rings. It must be the SUV they rented to get them all to the wedding. Silvana goes to check it out. Margarita and Salma play "Mirror, mirror on the wall". Of course Margarita is the "fairest of them all." Margarita is nervous. In another room, Mario and Félix are helping each other get ready. They are nervous, too. Félix Drops his handkerchief and bends over to pick it up and splits his pants. His heart covered boxers are revealed. Maybe a double wedding can be double trouble!

Outside of Margarita's, Viviana is up to no good with the wedding SUV. She gives the driver big plastic bags of stuff she needs taken to the wedding And sends him off to the kitchen to pick up some baskets to take also. In the meantime she is able to put sugar in the gas tank of the SUV.

At Viviana's it is crazy as she tries to get ready. Luca is holding a crying Luquita. A barrette keeps popping out of her hair.

At the Guerrero house, Pato tells Ernesto that her mom Is a okay. She used just a little more makeup to look normal for the wedding. Esperanza comes out still walking gingerly. Ernesto supports her And tells how beautiful she looks.

Ricardo is waiting with all of the kids at Cristina's as Cristina gets dressed for the wedding. They all cross their arms just like him waiting for Cristina. Finally, Cristina comes out in a bright yellow dress and they all turn to look.

At Viviana's, Eufro takes charge of Luquita, Viviana then takes a few moments to tell her two sons Luca and Adriano they are her real "sueño de amor". She also thanks them for having put up with her for so many years when she was so selfish and for helping her change.

Mario, Margarita, Félix, Silvana, Kristel and Salma are all in the SUV ready to go to the wedding. Félix thanks Margarita for sewing up his pants. Mario is eager to go because they are running late already. The only problem is that the SUV will not start. There is smoke coming out from under the hood. The driver says it is as if the motor died. Get another SUV? What about two taxis?

At the wedding site, Viviana is nervous because Mario and company have not arrived. The judge tells Viviana that if Mario does not come in 10 minutes the wedding is off. Her agenda is booked up. Viviana tries to explain that the SUV broke down and they are now taking taxis to get there. The judge does not change her mind. They still have not left Margarita's house and there are no taxis in sight. Silvana tells Margarita not to have an "infarto" (heart attack) about it. Félix begs her not to use the word "infarto" again. Mario tells them the judge is ready to leave. They all get hysterical except for smirky Silvana.

At Anastasia's apartment, Tracy is asking about the baby. Anastasio is ready to argue about that and other things. Anastasia asks Tracy why should she not bring charges against her. Tracy is shocked. Anastasia wants to know why she is harboring a fugitive. What ties her to Tracy anyway? Why should she be loyal. Tracy looks more Kracy than ever.

At the wedding site, Pedro, Ara and Pato arrive. Erasmo asks Pato if he can talk to her for a second. Sure. Surprise: Erasmo tells Pato he is in love with her. She tells him that she loves Luca.

The judge is now insisting on leaving. Her time is up. She has to be back in court for a life/death case. Viviana is hysterical. What will she do now with all of the guests?

Also at the wedding site, Cristina is telling Ricardo what a fan of weddings she is because it is an occasion to celebrate love and to prove that we can find that one special person to be that autopilot to accompany us through life. Yes, she would marry again if she found the ideal man. Why would she deny herself? As they are chatting, Ernesto and Esperanza walk in. The two couples uncomfortably greet each other and have very little to say. Abril meets Esperanza. After a few "pleasantries"??? They all left. After that, Esperanza wants to leave.

Mario and Félix finally get to the wedding site by cab and catch the judge before she leaves the premises. They beg her to marry them. She is able to change her schedule and the wedding is on. They all rumba with joy!

Silvana has a plan to shut the wedding down and is paying off a waiter to do it. 50% now and 50%'when it is totally cancelled.

The episode ends with the couples and their witnesses signing the wedding registry books.
