Sueño de amor, Ep. 112 (8.22.16) Esperanza suffers Aquimichú syndrome: One step forward, two steps back
We start this episode with Ricardo telling Cristina Vélez Valderrama, the firewoman of the education, the reasons why he left Esperanza 21 years ago. We will never have the whole story, because he partially reveals that he did it because of his father, who died anyway, so his effort was in vain. Poor Ricardo.
Then, like in the truth or dare game, CVV reveals that her mother is alive and kicking in USA. We all know her father died of lung cancer. Why is her mother not coming to the wedding, is she illegal also and can not leave the county? Poor Cristinita.
In the Guerrero's household, Esperanza and her daughter discuss Ernesto's kidney's problems. Since he is reluctant to accept the girl's organ, Patricia has an idea to make him take it. Looks like these women like to decide what is best for everybody else except themselves.
Your father is a saint, says Espy, he prefers to die before taking your kidney.
He is so noble, right?
-But mapa, I am ready to donate my kidney for love. Love is everything!
-Well, and if you're right and love is everything, why is he rejecting me? You know that I can not leave him, after all he did for me.
-This is the same you did to Ricardo, remember? It's called karma, viatch!
-And I can not keep insisting with Ricardo either. I need to get away from them.
Ricardo's mysteries are interrupted by the phone ringing, because Ciro needs to tell Kracy's next of kin what is she up to and the MENCLINIC staff misplaced the documents, so he uses Ricardo's personal cell number. Turns out she killed the paramedic and is on the loose.
CVV is worried, so the best thing to do is to call Baxter and order ask him to locate her and keep ahead with the wedding plans. Ricardo is not concerned a bit, why would we, right? Knowing Kracy, I would stop everything until we find her and put her back behind bars, but hey, we need 20 more episodes to fill, so let the games begin and see who is crazier!!
Now we see Kracy waking up after sleeping like a baby and saying to herself that she needs a good shower and some makeup, she takes a peek to her "totoshka" and sighs thinking that she will have to "sacrifice" her in the world's oldest profession, in order to get money for goods, cheap makeup and a gun. All is fair in love and war?
In his penthouse, Erny reads the digital paper and finds out about Kracy's escape.
He looks upset but doesn't have time to react because Helga has open the door to Luca and now he will have to share the news.
After talking to Baxter, Ricardo calms CVV down and tell her that the only thing they need to do is keep an eye on the kids, that's all. Baxter will do all the work. He has been programmed.
Then Ricardo tells Rodrigo that his mom has escaped and that he needs to be more vigilant, careful. Of course the kid, whose therapy sessions went down the drain, starts panicking, sweating and stuttering but easy boy, everything is awesome, we are getting married in a week!! Aren't you excited? We are!
These people have to work, so when CVV arrives at the Palacios Institute, Anastasia tries to please her boss with a latte with light milk and double foam, just like Quintina told her she liked it. But CVV is more concerned that thirsty and with hurry, gets inside. Wow! The invitations are here! This is like a feather for a cat and she promptly forgets about Kracy to fall fully into the wedding craze again.
Anastasia, who prides herself of her calligraphy, offers to label the envelopes. Later, my dear, in your free time, because now, we have a lot to do. Ok.
When Anastasia is in her desk again, Silvana arrives and sees the invitations, asks for the baby with the big blue eyes and she is told that the baby is in the nursery, safe.
CVV is doing the rounds when she encounters Esperanza who is wearing the red towel on her head and confronts her regarding Ricardo. The fight now revolves around Esperanza failing to do what she promised (not new), and that was getting away from Ricardo. CVV saw them talking and she need this to stop.
Esperanza, now that she is cancer free, is also very cocky, and defies CVV with her usual remarks. You know, I saw him first, the 20 years, the works.
We, as professionals -says esperanza- shouldn't be addressing this issues here. And since Ricardo and I are coworkers, we are meant to met and talk if necessary everywhere we can... or... are you going TO FIRE ME? Are you?
In another area of the same school, Ricardo opens his heart one more time to Margarititita, who is still on the old subject. Ricardo doesn't know how to tell the kids about their mother killing and running away from the clinic.
Marga asks what that crazy woman will be able to do now but none of them seems too concerned of her whereabouts, they are calmly seated talking like if nothing important or life risky has happened. We all agree Kracy is not sane, please, take precautions!
Ricardo keeps grinding the same old stone, he wants to marry Queen Cristina and forget about Esperanza.
When CVV returns to her office, she is chirping with anger (que trina de coraje) and Anastasia, who has never seen her like this, is surprised.
-What am I going to do if I lose Ricardo, asks herself, the same thing you did after you lost Abril? Survive keeping the hope up?
Esperanza, trying not to mind her own business, hear that Pedro and Patricia are hiding something from her, after all, a mother can sense that from miles away, and the kids can not deny it. Mapa, this is something you shouldn't see...
God, those were the magic words to pick her interest and now she wanted to see "that" more than before! "That" was the page on Facelook the kids made for their parents wedding and the picture here was more than eloquent, it said more than 2,000 words.
Translation: This is the family Ricardo always dreamed about.
Later, after his open heart confession with Margarititota, Ricardo went to see the "other" love of his life, or the love of his "other life" or juaréver you call the third woman in your life, but CVV sent him with crooked boxes (cajas destempladas), because she was not in the mood.
-Can we talk at home, dear? I am buried in work right now, now if you don't mind, thanks! By bye!
Esperanza, who is like a little ant and never stops all day, has been everywhere, and now she is in the Private Hospital getting her chemo with her favorite nurse, loose lips Anya.
You know the saying, if you wanna keep a secret, tell it to Anya, and Esperanza, whose lips were burning to tell somebody, anybody that she had been crying over Ricardo, couldn't hold it anymore and told her. I have been crying you know? Thats why my eyes are puffy. Really? You call that puffy? TMI Esperancita, nobody asked you!
And then Pedro arrives, and like mother like son, he starts talking indirectly to Anya about her boyfriend the big mustached one. When she realises he is talking about Rupert the cat, she almost peed laughing!! Silly Pedro, I love my cat, but not as much as I love you!
Time has passed
CVV is at home browsing the internet, because thanks to AT&T she can DO both the shopping and download music, AT THE SAME TIME!!
Ricardo approaches her very lovingly but she is still upset. When a woman is like this, like a prickly pear, you better take your distance or you will get pricked!
He recommends to count to ten and breathe slowly and then they can talk.
But, since CVV is angry and needs to let some steam off, she finally tells Ricardo that Esperanza put her in a very bad mood when she said that she was going to keep talking to him as a coworker and nothing else, but anyway, that's not right.
My sixth sense, or female intuition, tells me that Esperanza has a hidden agenda...
Anastasia was in for a big surprise.
Kracy went looking for her and found her. All she had was a screwdriver but it was a phillips, yes, the one with the pointy thing very sharp!
-Did you miss me dear? Do I still look attractive to you?
And there they were fighting each other, when all the wedding invitations for Ricardo and CVV went to the floor! Kracy got crazier when she saw them and after asking her friend for all the valuables she had in the house and take them, she said that she only left her alive because of all the things they lived together and because all the help she got in the past.
After the chemo session, is time to go back home and Patolucas take Esperanza. After Luca leaves, while Pato and Esperanza keep chewing people Ricardo gets there to ask why is Esperanza fighting CVV if she doesn't have the right?
Pato wants to add, Ricardo asks her to shut up and Esperanza implies that CVV went to runtelhimdat and he denies it. CVV is not a gossipy woman! Don't disrespect her!
Wow! And all this before the first commercial break!
OK. We will never know how much they argued or what did they agree to do during the commercials about the same old thing because after the break, we see Esperanza sitting having tea with Viviana and talking about her cancer free new figure, the little school and all that.Then Ernesto becomes the topic and they talk about the discarded wedding plans and his will to die martyr.
The Gallos and Adrián are also there to help her clean the house (!?)

Ricardo and CVV are in bed rehearsing the vows, I offer you, nooo, don't tel me, write them down and surprise me at the wedding.
Yes dear, nothing will be wrong because Baxter is in charge of looking for Kracy!
Really? Yes, guess who is going to get fired!!
I guess is Saturday already, because Ricardo and CV talk about how nervous she is about the wedding and he says just imagine, pretend is already saturday and voilá, it is, next thing we know, Cristina's eyes fill the whole screen up because we suppose not to see her hair or her dress, nothing!
After the scare and with clean underwear, Ana called Erasmo, who came as soon as his bicycle allowed him to her rescue. He recommends to go to the hospital and to the police to make a report. She is happy to be alive.
Kracy didn't lose time and she is already at home counting her money and showing her gun.
Cut to Queen Christina already in the limousine with the two girls and we finally get o see her hairdo, nothing spectacular, just a little bejeweled thing on the side of her head and thats it. The three of them are so nervous that CVV tells the girls to close their eyes and breathe slowly... yes, just as Ricardo said before!
In the reception hall the cake has arrived and the guests will be seated in rows, four in one side and five in the other. How many people do the couple know anyway?
I guess the Kuri Condes were not required, because they are enjoying a very home made meal prepared by no other than SALMA!! She said she made the eggs with salsa ranchera and even toasted the bread.
Father Kuri is impressed and proud, so proud that he gave her permission to go with Adrián to I don't know what party for teenagers where they dont serve alcohol.
Mama Conde thinks that the therapies are going well, since Mireya told her the progress she was making. I guess she deserve to party after this breakfast, even when she is not all that.
Esperanza was also not required but Pato is muele y muele (keep insisting) with the argument that Esperanza should go and stop the wedding under the premise that love is everything and the sacrifice, and that love gives you the right and this and that.
Here, I see that Esperanza has finally showed a little spark of intelligence and has decided not to meddle anymore and leave the couple alone. After all, this was her idea in the first place and now that all the pawns are in the board exactly like she wanted, she shouldn't play anymore.
Pato's insistency is annoying because we know that Esperanza is also weak and she could fall into that nonsense and do something stupid. Thanks God she didn't.
She even told Pato to go away and do the vegetable shopping so she could be alone with her thoughts.
Speaking about weddings Ernest ask Luca about his with ato. We don't ave a date ye because we need first to talk to Esperanza and she is a very hard bone to chew (un hueso duro de roer). Luca then calls Pato and she has good news, her kidney is compatible! Yippy, now we only need to see how we can put it in with out Ernesto noticing.
And speaking of esperanza, her phone rings and guess who is calling!
Yes, Kracy! To tell her that she is making her a favor killing Ricardo, the root of all evil.
And if you do something to stop me, I know where you live and where your kids are all the time, so, careful!
Esperanza quicky tries to warn Ricardo of her heart but in that precise moment Rodrigo's bladder was full of cranberry juice and they had to stop at the convenience store to use the restroom and he missed the call.
Esperanza then quickly tries to warn CVV but she thinks Esperanza is just being obnoxious and disregard the call.
Walking the aisle, Ricardo has flashbacks of his relationship with CVV starting with the bump, the whole patán thing, kisses, the bed while Esperanza was being shaved, more kisses, more bed and more kisses, boring!
Well, next thing we know is that Kracy took a pink taxi in favor of the fight against breast cancer and went right to the wedding with a gun and all. She dressed as a priest helper organizing the flowers and taking her gun out, pointed at Ricardo, yelling, Hey you!.
But in that precise moment, with the sound of Bionic woman and in slow motion, we see Esperanza coming out of nowhere to save the day, and Ricardo's life of curse!
A shot is heard but we don't get to see who dies. Was it Esperanza, Ricardo and/or Cristina? Make your bet!

Tracy is threatening everyone again. I am going to lay the blame for this at Ricardo's feet because in spite of all the damage Tracy did especially to her own children, he thought he knew better and did not let the judicial system take its course and hold her in a jail. It as sad seeing Rodrigo all worked up because his crazy mother was on the loose: again.
I do not believe Salma's transformation after a week(?) of counseling. I am waiting fir the other shoe to drop with her. It could all be a big act. Sure Mario us going to jet her go out with Adrián to an alcohol free party . Really? I kept hoping she had not poisoned their food.
Ricardo is just a big schmuck. We still didn't get his whole accounting of the 20 year hiatus. I wonder if we ever will hear about Cristina's
parents again. They deserve each other.
On to tomorrow to see who got shot. I say it was Ricardo.

Wow Pablo. Fantastic recap. My head is still spinning. The wedding arrived already???

I imagine now if that occurred, he will magically revert back to "loving" Esperanza if she managed to save his not too worthy life. I can't imagine it would be Espe who got shot (after all she's been through) but what do I know? Nothing. Maybe there are several casualties. I suspect Cris will come through without a smudge to her make up.
What a lot happened yesterday! I have a lot of catching up to do!!!

If only this were the last episode: Esperanza could throw her own body in front of Ricardo taking the bullets and giving him a chance for his "sueño de amor". Her true love for him would be demonstrated one final time and Cristina could be freed from her presence. Then there could be a funeral, a wedding and a proper "fin". Now that would be a proper ending for this trip through the vale if tears. Ha!Ha!

Jarifa, I still for the life of me have no idea what is going to happen.
I wanted Esperanza to fall in love with Ernesto. I wanted Ernesto to get a kidney (but not Pato's), have the same miraculous recovery as Esperanza did and have the two of them get married. That ship has sailed.
If Ernesto is doomed to die, then I hope he does so before Espe goes back to Ric. Now I haven't seen the last few episodes, but the fact Ric is getting married proves (to me anyway) that he doesn't love Espe. Or is still furious. Or whatever. Not enough to renounce Cris and go back to Espe.
I don't think they'd kill off Cris but actually that makes the most sense. If she and Ernie die, Espe and Ric can get together once their respective partners have bit the dust.
This is SO frustrating. I'm not going to be happy no matter what happens. But I won't miss it :)

I think they already tried the bisexual/confused subplot that didn't stick, when they made Anastasia flirt with Kracy and tell her that she was attracted to her. Somehow the writers (two of them openly gay men) changed that and made Anastasia fall for Erasmo.

a) he is a zero to the left and doesn't count much
b) he is asexual
c) he made that up to avoid Silvana's advances
To me, Anya is some kind of tomboy and Pedro is still a bit like Lyle (the effeminate heterosexual male), so there you have it. The perfect couple!

How many episodes remain? If one of the main characters gets shot, then the resolution to all this will necessarily be expanded to fill the remaining number of episodes.
It is 130 plus the 2 hour finale, is that 131 or 132?

Pablo this was a rip-roaring hilarious recap. Now if they can just get the kidney inside without him knowing about it" that was a really laugh out loud funny moment. And the sound effects of The Bionic Woman pushing Ricky out of the way, they should have tried to put that sound effect in there that would have been funny. this is supposed to be a comedy, let's start laughing. My brother said somebody threw some red dye on the white fabric to make it look even more dramatic. It's either Ricky or espy's blood. ChristyV wasn't even in the line of fire, so it's either R or E. Or one of the wedding guest that nobody knows, not even the bride and groom. Wedding Crashers. I bet they wish they had stayed home that day.
Is Selma for real or is she plotting something? I don't trust her she's mean like her mama.

I started it this morning at work and I didn't get to finish it until I got home which was after 2 and then at 3 o'clock came around I was doing something else but then I decided to watch today's episode while I was finishing yesterday's episode's comment. I just finished watching today's episode and I am really confused. MOre than Kristel and Ricardo together.
Today I tuned in when the intro was playing, so I missed the whole first 20 minutes. The thing is that this is the episode I took notes for, 115.
If yesterday's was 112, why is this 115? Did Univisión decided to skip 2 episodes?
Did the beginning of this episode matched yesterdays ending? Did they did the trick during the weekend?
Please help!

Pablo, today the Univisión starts off with Tracy pulling the trigger. We then see who gets shot (which was not shown yesterday)then the blood splatter on the white fabric. No other review scenes from yesterday. It is all new content.
