Yago Capitulo 56: We're going home
We have finally found Hernan's shoe benefactor!
We begin our episode with Hernan's point of view of the last night's cliffhanger scene. As Teo&Romo begin their mission , Teo receives a call from Katia. Teo tells her that he is coming so Teo rushes Romo into the bathroom. He urges Romo to collaborate. As Teo leaves Hernan sneaks from behind and enters the bathroom. Hernan chokes Romo to death while describing the laws of Nature.
Meanwhile Lucio is gleefully presenting his new multimillionaire project. Yago is getting impatient. Abel think's Lucio's just bluffing since that's part of his nature but Yago believes it's serious this time. Abel goes to look for Romo and he get's himself quite a prey in Hernan. Abel cuts two of Hernan's fingers to avenge Ambar but to his surprise Hernan doesn't feel any pain at all. Some girl interrupts them and Hernan get's away. Abel puffs and huffs tossing Hernan's finger to the ground and spits into his ketchup filled hands.
Teo comes and finds Katia unconscious. Fidel&Selma call for a doctor.
Yago decides to share time with Ximena but Lucio interrupts them to gloat about his latest success. Lucio tells Yago that he should learn to lose with grace but Yago advises Lucio to not count his chickens before they roost. They are still binded by the contract but Lucio is like "Oh ,really?". Lucio even invites Yago to the opening ceremony alongside Ximena. Speaking of Ximena she leaves Yago like a sore thumb, not even letting him to take her home. They're done.
Camilo is also counting his chickens with Sara but suddenly he gets informed about the latest blood spill. He makes a fancy but yet remorseful speech promising 3x the earnings during their next visit as this visit had to come to an abrupt end. Sara confronts Lucio about it but Lucio doesn't know anything. In fact that's the most undesired thing that has happened yet. Sara holds an interview in which she reads that Romo's death was a suicide and that it was caused by mental issues. Fidel closes his laptop in frustration. This is typical of Camilo, always twisting the story-lines. Yago say's that he has no idea what Camilo's intentions are Lucio&Yago are still bound by the Porta Azul contract. Fidel promises that his lawyer will take care of everything. They also need to prove that Hernan was the one who killed Romo. Fidel receives a call from Selma. She says that Katia is now awake.
Yago&Teo visit Katia in her bed. Katia wants to go ahead like nothing happened. Yago wants to put Katia back into the treatment facility but Katia says that she is fine. She accuses Teo of betraying her. Yago tells her that if she doesn't want to go he will respect her decision but Katia needs to think about those who love her. Meanwhile Teo&Abel have a short but yet touching reconciliation scene. Teo admits that he should have kept a close eye on Katia. Abel says that Katia is lucky to have Teo as her boyfriend. They hug.
Teo visits Katia again in which Katia apologizes. Teo calls her brave but Katia calls herself stupid. But it's brave to admit to be weak says Teo. Katia agonizes herself on having to land into treatment yet again. Teo asks her what the emergency was but Katia doesn't want to talk about it. The later morning Katia says her goodbyes. Selma says that they're like family. But things get complicated when she flips at the registration desk. She can't bear to not see him everyday. Teo calms her down.He will definitely see her everyday.
Camilo's investors have decided to back away from the project. There is too much death and rumoring about. It's already a taken decision so buh bye! Camilo asks them if they are ready to accept the consequences of their decision (You mean you're asking if they are ready to land on the Body Count list?). Camilo later rants at Hernan for killing Romo in plain sight of night. Hernan tells him that Romo was about to unmask Camilo in front of everyone but Camilo doesn't care. He lost a million dollars worth project due to Hernan's stupidity!

Yago get's visited by Sara. Yago wants to know if Sara knew about Lucio's plan. Sara is dumbfounded at Yago's lack of trust in her. She also throws a jealous fit about Yago&Ximena. Yago tells her that she doesn't know how to love anyway and also instructs her to find information about Camilo's ex investors. Besides her role in this is all optional. She can easily go back to Cam if she wants to. "Are you getting jealous now? Unlike you I will be able to remain professional and fulfill my promise" says Sara. Sara also get's informed that Romo was the one who put the bomb in the bar. Lucio also get's his money back from Yago and manages to annul the contract.
Lucio tries to bring Hernan to his side. They make quite a great team. Hernan seems to cave in. Lucio also has a talk with Camilo informing him about his regained money. Lucio doesn't want to share the goods with Camilo. Camilo reminds him of Tomas so Lucio also begins suspecting that Camilo was behind Mat's kidnapping.
Yago returns to Fidel and he's pissed that he lost so many things today including Katia, the scam money(When Fidel scammed Lucio) and Port Azul. Fidel hopes that the lawyer will manage to salvage something and that Sara will give them the necessary information of Camilo's ex investors. Yago later makes up with Ximena. He tells her that he had thought for a long time that revenge will fulfill the hole in his heart but he was stupid.They kiss but Sara calls to give him the intel of her mission( She took pictures of the contracts with her phone but she apparently got caught by Hernan.). When Yago hears the message he immediately runs to the rescue.
Julia tells Abel that she doesn't want to leave this place without her parents as she just met them. Abel sets up a meeting between him,Julia, Selma and Fidel. Fidel wants to go with her but he also has obligations. Julia makes him choose between his vengeance and his family. She wasn't very succesful. Later when Selma&Fidel are alone she points out that Fidel is old and weak. Perhaps vengeance wasn't his destiny. He should give the pedal to Yago as it is his vengeance as well. Fidel says that Yago will still need assistance.
Abel&Yago rush to Lucio's place. Lucio thinks Yago came to return the money but he's here for Sara instead. Lucio say's he doesn't know anything.
Meanwhile Hernan takes Sara to Camilo's airport. He receives a call from Camilo(?) but Hernans not available. Sara&Hernan take a flight to the North Pole with a helicopter.

Enoch I agree with you in your opinion towards Abels scenes cutting fingers. I like this Novela and Abels character but I barely can handle those scenes. They make me anxious and it freezes me that Hernan instead of showing pain he was feeling pleasure when Abel cut out his finger.

Glad to see Katia staying in rehab. Not surprised that Ximena dropped Yago like a hot potato: getting out of dodge.

I have to admit that I Loled when Hernan didn't even scream when Abel cut off his fingers. He even said to Lucio that he would even cut them out himself today if it wasn't for Abel's "assistance". Hernan is really in quite a shape. A lot of mobsters say that they don't feel any pain but they always scream in the end. Hernan seems to be an exception!
Lucio is getting too careless with Camilo. He clrearly underastimates him even now. What makes Lucio think Camilo won't kidnap Matias once again?

Really this telenovela is the worst I have ever seen for violence. It is really over the top. Are people really entertained by watching fingers cut off? It seems to me that evil in the world progresses insidiously, step by step what was considered immoral is next OK; only the move towards immorality has no satisfied point for the perps. So what is permissible for public viewing continues to degenerate. I recall some years ago how a woman was raped with a broom stick in some program, then copycat in real life. Conversely methinks, revival for good comes as a drastic & sudden Gestalt shift.
2) I don't know what is going on with the helicopter flight of Sara. Will she be dumped out somewhere? I also don't know to whom the psycho sadomasochistic red-shoe Hernan is loyal now. He has fixated on Camilo as das Lider & got the man who raised him killed by tattling on him. So why wud he not do the same to Luscious?
3) We saw a chink in the vengeance-sick side of YagoJumpInTheLake. He forgave Abel. So will we now see him one by one forgiving his betrayers?
4) I don't understand Katia, why didn't she tell the FidelCastro/YagoJump gang how she was kidnapped, injected with dope & tortured? I did miss a couple of episodes & just read recaps on them Mon & Chewsday. As I saw it, basically Katia did not relapse, but was forced. When she was released tho she went chugalug on booze, perhaps feeling a need for it to fight opiod withdrawals? I don't know how well that works, but I did know a guy who seemed to be trying to get off of Methadone with booze. I don't know how he ended.
5) So what is left now, 10 more episodes? Isn't this a 65 cap story?

Am I missing something? I don't see the date for the resumen, the plot synopsis (for which I am thankful). I mean it looks like the date is the date of the posting, not of the capitulo. I am assuming that the Sunday synopsis is for last Thursday, as Frifish night is for fútbol.

Thanks, Countx! I finally saw the episode. I'm hoping that what's happening is a surprise romantic trip Camilo planned, and not a Hernan torture trip.

The look Lucio gave Hernan when he causally said he probably would have ended up cutting off his own finger eventually was hilarious.
Lucio does seem to be underestimating the people he's working with. He doesn't get just how perverse Hernan is. And he only this episode realized that it was Camilo who was ultimately behind loan shark Tomas and the kidnapping. What a dope.
Both Fidel and Yago are being increasingly confronted with the choice between continuing their vengeance, or moving on with their lives/loves/families. I would like to think it's a real choice, but frankly at this point, neither Camilo nor Lucio would let them live in peace.
Katia feels ashamed of being addicted again, of being "weak" enough to fall into Lucio and Hernan's hands, and probably also scared of what Yago and Teo would do if they learned what L & H did to her. I'm very glad she agreed to go to rehab. I hope neither Lucio nor Hernan find out where she is.

Oh yeah, I was stunned that Lucio was only just now figuring out that Camilo - Tomas Vargas's boss, for crying out loud - knew about the kidnapping. DUH, Lucio.

Just a bit of clarification-- It wasn't all the money that he lost after committing the fraud that Lucio got back. It was just the money he had initially invested in the Punta Azul project (a real hotel/casino development) when he first partnered with Yago. And now Camilo has paid off a judge to basically give Lucio full rights over the project. It's totally illegal, but looks like Camilo shelled out a lot of money to make it happen. Camilo reminded Lucio that the money wasn't even Lucio's in the first place, but instead the money HE had given to Tomas to loan Lucio. This seemed to surprise Lucio that Camilo was ultimately behind the loan (what an idiot). But Camilo has decided to be generous and let him keep the money.
