Caray, Caray!

For those of you who thought that this was going to be an action packed episode, there is nothing for you to see here. But for those who hoped they would be subjected to another never ending episode with people having the same conversations over and over again, then you are in the right spot.
Get a chair, make yourself comfortable and let the talking begin.

The hors d'oeuvre are so tasty, but who cares about them?

We open the episode on Cristina and Ricardo fighting over the other woman the walking dead the wedding menu. She can see that he's showing to much "hate" for it not to be hiding some leftover feelings of love. So, are they going to get married or not? Ricardo denies everything, he's even upset that she would doubt him after all that he has done to show him his love for her.
The wedding planner drops by in between their fighting, and even whispers at one moment that there might not be a wedding because of all this mess. Cristina doesn't appreciate the interruption, but her mind is set on figuring out what's going on in Ricardo's head. She finds it hard to believe that he would remain indifferent to Esperanza's love. She asks him to look her straight in the eye and promise that he wants to marry her because of love, and not because he committed to it and he promised to the kids.
He swears he loves her and only her. She cries from relief and they kiss, but I'm still having a bad feeling about this. He's very believable and I'm sure that he truly believes what he's saying, but the Patio knows better.



A boy, a girl and a cat
Pedro is having a hard time letting go of Kristel. He loved her so much, he allowed for her to go away and now he can't bring himself to move on. Esperanza and Ernesto encourage him to give it a try with Anya, but he's afraid of hurting her just like he hurt Aranza. He doesn't want to use Anya just to forget about Kristel, he appreciates her too much for that. Ernie and Espe laugh, they think this is a good sign for the maybe couple and urge him to tell Anya about Kristel and see what happens.
Anya and her cat are at home. She's feeding the cat with quality food and babble about her love life. Is she in love with Pedro? The kitty couldn't care less.
Pedro calls Anya, but she takes her sweet time to answer, busy to ask the kitty if she should do it or not. By the time she does, he's already hung up, so they exchange some text messages. To spare you the teenage misunderstandings, I'll just say that they both want to see one another, but neither wants to seem too eager, so they end up agreeing to talk the next day.
But Pedro realizes that she's at home, so he comes over with flowers. Before he can knock he hears through the door some music and Anya talking out loud, confessing her love to a someone with a bigote ( mustache). Of course it's the cat, but he thinks that she has a boyfriend and he goes away, leaving his flowers behind.

Three is a crowd
Margarita and her mother in law continue to sabotage one another, doing silly tricks that are boring me to tears. When they get into the tenth fight over Marga not deserving Felix, he arrives home just in time to see his mom attack his wife. He's had it with this mess, so he asks his mom to go back home because this is no way to live and he chooses his wife. He doesn't care that he won't have kids, he realized that loving his wife and being happy with her is enough for him.
La suegra has no other alternative than leave, she lied about her house being redecorated, anyway. She can now see that Margarita truly loves her son and before she finally goes, the three of them even hug it out, peace now reigning in their relationships.
Later on, in bed, Margarita and Felix are happy to be rid of mommy dearest, when she calls to say that she is in pain, might be dying, etc... They realize that some things will never change and laugh it off.

The crazy has left the asylum
Tracy manages to trick her way out of Menclinic and into an ambulance and stabs the orderly who is attending to her while she's supposedly passed out. She steals his money, puts on a white hospital gown and off she goes, ready to create havoc yet again.

A slap was not enough
Salma wants to go out and party, but Viviana won't allow it because Mario forbade it. They start arguing for the millionth time and Adrian shows up just in time for Salma to blame him for everything that has happened to her. Had she not been in love with him, she would not have raped him   she would not be suffering so much right now. And Viviana is to blame, too, because she hates her, she never wanted her in the house and she's a bitter old fool. This makes Vivi snap - she slaps Salma over the face real good (yey!); she feels bad about it, but she couldn't allow for such talk in her house.
Just then Mario comes home and Salma is quick to whine about what Vivi did.

The soon to be married 
Rodrigo, Selena and Abril decide to create a facebook page for their parents wedding. So they ask them for different information, like the date, the time, some photos of the two of them as kids and now. They start a photo shoot of the soon to be official family and it truly is cute and heartwarming. Leave it to Osorio to ruin this - the question is how will he manage to do it?
Later Cristina and Ricardo go over the documents they need for the ceremony and all the other wedding details that they still need cover. Cristina goes into a panic, realizing that organizing a wedding in two weeks is actually not enough time (geez!). And what if something happens? Won't he want to run away? Will he be by her side forever?
Ricardo calms her down, they will do everything together, all will be fine. She apologizes for her jealousy fit, she know it's not healthy for their relationship. He didn't mind, he loves her. She loves him back, so everything is peachy!

Sick and sicker (you choose which is which)
All through the episode Ernesto and Esperanza have had dinner together at home, given Pedro sound advice about relationships and have been talking about their own complicated rapport, especially now when Espe is cured and Ernie is mortally ill.
After dinner Espe drinks one of the teas that might have cured her cancer. Ernie wants to talk about the new situation they're in. She might have noticed that he hasn't mentioned their wedding again, because he doesn't want her to suffer and he knows that she loves Ricardo.
Esperanza admits this much, but Ric hates her, and his hate breaks her heart. Yes, she asked for it, but she was dying then. Regardless, nothing will change between them and there is nothing that she can do about it. Yes, there is, Ernie opines, she can fight for her love.
No, she won't, the kids and Ernie are more important for her, she doesn't want him to die. Well, tough luck, because he will never accept Pato's kidney, he won't allow for her to live like this (and he says it so many times that one has to wonder why he agreed for his other son, Luca, to give him a kidney? This is just like Espe saying she lied to Ric out of love, but she didn't mind burdening everyone else with her illness).
Pato and Luca are around, too, insisting for the operation, even if it will be a hard one. Espe can't be objective on the matter, but do they at least know if Pato is compatible? Not yet, they still have to wait a couple of days. PatoLuca having just one kidney each? Another reason for these two to make the perfect couple.

Left alone, Esperanza and Ernesto talk about Ricardo again. He wants her to be happy and she will never achieve that if she doesn't have love. Yes, she will, there is nothing to do, since Ric is getting married and she won't interfere in that relationship. Besides, Ric hates her.
Ernie thinks that his hate will vanish and then she will have her chance. And he sets her free to go after what she truly wants. She doesn't even want to hear about it, she can't leave him alone when he needs her most. Ernie insists, she has his permission, her conscience can be at ease. They got together to fight her cancer, now that the cancer is gone, they can go their separate ways.
Espe doesn't agree, they built a relationship, she will never forget what he did for her. Yes, but he's dying!!
Espe resents this, he can't give up, just like she never did, he needs to fight! Ernie doesn't think that he has a reason to fight, she will never love him the way that she loves Ricardo, she will never look at him the way that she looks at Ricardo - so, she is free to go and fight for what she truly wants. He wants to break all their ties and she should not feel any guilt, because she owes him nothing. She almost died, she must realize that love is the most important thing in the world, she needs to go and fight for her true love.
Esperanza is left speechless, she can't seem to find the words to say no anymore.
