Wow. Gonzo just keeps sinking further. I can't believe he kept harping on not forgiving Inez for supporting Pau even after he had slapped her! Let's see how he reacts to her ultimatum. Love all the stink eye the house staff were giving him.

That kiss will certainly come back to haunt Pau. We already know how jealous Adrian is.

I was impressed with Leo leaving Nuria wanting more. Well played, Leo.

Oh boy, wonder how long they'll make us wait before Gonzo's steaming pile of lies hits the fan and Ines pays Gonzo back with a SLAP of her own, and I don't mean with her hand! The monumental hypocrisy of this guy is breath taking. He must really think he's bullet proof! He thinks he'll never be found out! He stands to lose, not only his "prestige" but his empire, his entire family and all his friends (so far, that "all" is Alfonso).

Gosh, I can't stand, what's her name, Elisa, Monica's mother. Thirsty, spiteful heffa! She is as loathsome as Monica is stupid!

Looks like Gonzalo was actually concerned about Ines well being, meaning that despite his affair and kids, he probably loves her. But knowing him, I am sure he will blame her for something she did that "threw him" into Mónica's arms and he, as a man, "had" to take the chance to cheat.

Mónica is a very beautiful woman, but Inés is too, so I don't really see the excuse why he is cheating. Maybe is like they say, after eating steak for some time, you want to try some beans.
Someone said that if it was sons what he wanted, Inés could have had a couple more herself, so I am puzzled here.

Juaréver the excuse is, I don't think is smart having both your main house and the "casa chica" in the same town, specially when it is this small and everybody knows everybody and/or having someone as Elisa as your mother in law. Yuck!

That was the slap heard 'round the world. I'm glad Ines didn't take it sitting down and didn't forgive him either. She finally nows the hypocrite she married and she doesn't know the half of it. When she finds out about Monica and the fact that Gonzalo lied to her face, oh damn, not to mention the fraud and the fact that Julieta was right.

Glad to see Nuria is an equal opportunity life ruiner. Doesn't make her any better but at least she's gunning for everyone, not just her sister with a bullseye in the middle of her forehead.

Ines now finally sees how evil and manipulative Nuria might be. Hopefully it serves her next time Nuria tries to spin her web of lies.

Even Jaime noticed Julieta was quiet about Adrian…oh man what is that lady thinking…?
 

I want some back story on the arc of Julietta's madness. Did she slowly crack up or was she a cracked pot when Jaime married her? If so, WHY did he marry her? She cares NOTHING about him and he gets NOTHING from her, not attention, consideration, companionship. Heck, I'm getting frustrated watching how many times she rebuffs his very tame and respectful advances toward her. Jeezopete! Jaime AND Paulette need to cut ties with that weird "family" and remake their lives in saner and safer pastures.

WTH went wrong in all these people's lives? Are these programs meant to make poorer people think their lives are somehow morally superior?

Nuria is a Bad Seed, Julieta has more issues than National Geographic, and Gonzalo is a pathological liar.... Nuria must get that from him while Paulina gets her goodness from Ines.

I also want to know how Julieta got this way. Here's hoping we'll find out.

Thanks Pablo. I've been away and don't have the technical smarts to read recaps and make comments on my phone. I'm lucky if I can make calls and send texts frankly. But appreciate the recap and look forward to seeing the episode. Disappointed in my middle-aged galan. Busting his long-suffering wife (and she's going to suffer more) in the chops is not sexy. And up till now I was finding him rather fetching in spite of his casa chica. Done with you now Gonzalo!

In my personal opinion (and life) it is very hard for me that things go smaller and smaller every time. That's why I don't own a wireless phone of any kind except of course, the one plugged to the wall. I am sure I could never be able to do anything with those tiny buttons, more less the little screen. I have the computer hooked up to a big screen tv and even so, I have problems seeing right!!

Anyway... I appreciate the comments from jueréver they come.
 

Don't these people know about Cellphones? That way nasty nury wont be able to listen to the conversations on the extension that shouldn't be discussed in the house where people can sneak up & hear Secret plans, and brake sweet little boys hearts. Stupid adults!!!
 

Nina- I don't know if I should tell you this without it being a spoiler, but there is a real reason why no one has a cell phone.

I too wonder how it is that Julieta with her aggressive and homicidal tendencies has not been admitted to a mental hospital. She is not in jail, but she keeps pushing her luck. She makes me anxious just looking at her.

Vivi, do tell! I keep thinking about cellphones and cannot come up with reason why they seem non-existant. Thats okay, I am aware of spoiler policy, but can you give a little hint? Lol
 

Jaime must get some kind of satisfaction from being "the healthy one" in that relationship. That worked for the father of one of my friends. However, I can't see how he isn't completely drained by this. Julieta is an energy vampire with her OCD, her truly sick and unsisterly obsession with Adrian, and her violence.

Since she has single-handedly wrecked Jaime's business he should put her in a manicomio and divorce her NOW. Guaranteed she will cause a lot more damage before this story is over.
 

They don't have cell phone towers on the Island. It can't be thst easy. So its gotta be something else worth yall not wanting to spoil it for us, and so I'll wait and see like everyone else.
