Ria, understanding very little Spanish, I was lost during Chana's reading but the "death" card certainly was clear. As you so perfectly phrased it "...who would want to kill a middle-aged hostel owner?".

I am enjoying all the twists and turns. Last night proved beyond a doubt that Marcelo is infinitely more interesting than Santiago. I imagine that if Ana Let were not so shamefully consumed with her love for her tio, she would not be immune to Santiago's charms. I believe we've seen flashes of interest (and lust) which would likely have become more much more if she were mentally available. Imagine how impossible the competition with her sister would have been! Ana Let doesn't want to give up Marcelo simply because he is "hers".

Thank You Ria They finally they got the engine started and got this train(wreck) headed on down the tracks last night.

Poor True Galan, Ramiro, he so wanted to slap SantiStupi unstupid and ask “Have you lost your mind?” when SS was going on about how sweet, loving, moral, and trustworthy he had begun to realize AnaL’Viper truly is. Or he wanted to run to the kitchen for a cucihllo and take care of that tumor for him. Aaaaarrrgh

So shitforbrains, you had it coming. Ramiro and I both wanted to and couldn’t but Mariano knocked some sense into you, wet noodle. That whole hoohah in Mariano’s office was odd, to be kind. From our countless flashbacks and other black and white endeavors we have seen that Marky Mark and Mariano have been up to their eyeballs in a lot of sh_t together, can we assume that cozy, loving Bromance is over? JaJa.

Yeah, is it almost Christmas? The nuttiest fruitcake was just on my screen. Facundo should have also seen this. He knows that all was not well between her and his son. We still don't know what he found out about Jennifer's murder.

The most current development is too disturbing, however. Doesn't Facundo remember Marcelo when he was normal? Is he incapable of realizing that killing Remedios will not only not solve this issue but destroy Marcelo?
 

Diana- I agree with you. I believe that if Ana Leticia is able to sort out her feelings, she will find out that what she feels for her uncle is a sickness and that she does love San/marc (in her own way). She needs to listen to her sister and seek help pronto. She knows what she is doing is wrong, which shows that she does have a conscience, but she can't seem to help herself. I do believe in what Chana said, Ana Laura is Ana Leticia's saving grace. It's only with her that we get to know how she truly feels deep down. I want redemption for her at the end, I want all three sister to be together and to let bygones be bygones. I know she has to pay for all she has done, but U don't want her to die.

Once again Ana Llorona plays sad music. When in blazes will she embrace the vibrant sounds of Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt? Will that happen after she finally hits the sheets with Ramiro, after she finally is reunited with Ana Lucia, or both?

I want to hear her play Beethoven's Emperor Concerto in the finale!

I love Viridiana's intent to put Ana MeMeMe in her place. She seems to be the only one who's really got her number and is intending to do something about it.

There is no redemption for Ana MeMeMe. She will end up in a manicomio, prison, the grave, or all three in succession. Since she also uses her beauty to seduce and deceive, she may also lose her looks before we get there. If she crosses Clawdia, there could be another cliche coming up: An acid facial.
 

Both Facundo and Marcelo are determined to get rid of that idiot Santiago, and anyone trying to keep him around. I'm having trouble believing that they actually intend to kill Rem. I guess we'll see.

There were a few laugh out loud moments last night. Most notably when AnaLet admitted this split personality thing is fun because she gets to cheat on her husband, without actually cheating. She also likes the Santi personality because she can manipulate him. Fun times for her. The other moment I laughed was when Rem told Chana to quit reading their cards cause she only ever tells them bad news, and then of course she pulls the death card and gets the worst reading yet. LOL.

The reason why Marcelo is mad at Mariano is because he thinks Mariano was behind Gina's death and just used Marcelo and his people to get the job done. We've yet to see how things went from Mariano and Marcelo's employee sending Gina on her way with the case of cash, to her dead in a tub. Mariano sure acts like he has a lot more to hide.

OMG! AnaLet's hopeful thoughts that Tio Mariano might actually feel the same as she does. She is this close to making a true pass at him.

Loved Ana Leticia calling Ana Laura "perverse" when Ana Laura does not realize that she is referring to Marcelo/Santiago's split personality when Ana Leticia says it is so hard being with two men at once. Her next best line was she felt like she was cheating on her husband with her husband.

Ana Leticia was almost normal for about 40 seconds in the "poignant" part of the conversation she had with Ana Laura about Marcelo/Santiago when they were talking about "second chances" and Ana Leticia asking if even she might be able to change.

It was such a nice neat transition from Santiago PUNCH to Marcelo., I sure enjoyed Marcelo punching out tío Mariano and threatening to tell Ana Leticia all about her uncle.

Ana Leticia sure was at her twisty best with tío Mariano and it could not have been clearer where she was going with all that talk about him suggesting she get a divorce, she agreeing he does not want to see her with Marcelo, evidently he feels the same way about her as she does about him, how much does he love her?, he will always love her: ending up with a hug and being her uncle's little girl!!! Give me a break! Tío Mariano is as crazy as she is.

(Cant' believe I was actually glad to see Facundo back.) I was sure he would make Sant/Mark have his tumor removed. From your comments it seems he wasn't told about the tumor.

Don't understand why they think killing Rem would eliminate Santi.

I tried to watch the nopal juice last night, but it didn't look separated to me. Maybe I was just seeing things the other night, or maybe someone gave it a stir when they noticed that it was starting to settle.

Hoo boy! I was ready to give up expecting AnaLet to make a move on her uncle, but last night there was a moment when she looked like she was going to kiss him.

And now she's thinking he might feel the same way. Oh dear. I'm gearing myself up for a huge gross-out soon.

Virginia: Killing Remedios wouldn't eliminate Santi, but killing both Remedios and AnaLu might. They're basically the only reason Santi still exists.

Not that I think they're plotting to kill anyone, as far as I know. But that would be the logic behind it.
 

Virginia, Marcelo was talking with Facundo about how Santiago is fighting for control. Marcelo has a plan to keep control by eliminating everyone who supports Santiago. Remedios means nothing to Marcelo.
 

As a matter of fact, Marcelo left Remedios' fate in Facundo's hands.
 

Diana, my DVR cut out between TVA and Color and I picked up that reading with a bit of an interruption, but sounded like Chana was saying that Rem's life is in danger. She met someone who opened darkness for her and that person will be her demise.
Little did we know she meant Santi!!

And Urban, exactly - with how quickly Facundo jumped on board, I am wondering if it's because his and Marcelo's characters and relationship were always like this, or he is just so consumed with his hatred for Remedios of all people to hate!

Jarifa, Ana Le calling Llora perverse made me laugh as well and then her antics with TioM and wondering if he feels the same way?? I almost wished she'd make a move just to see him being disgusted (we hope, anyway) Ana Le is a long lost cause and that is how serial murderers start out.




 

We're at episode 91. I'm really ready to have this whole Gina mystery resolved and wrapped up, so that we can move on to the other stuff.
 

Vivi - no kidding! I am starting to think though they will drag it out until the finale...
 

I wouldn't mind the Gina mystery so much if I thought it had anything to do with the triplets besides the Evaristo connection. AnaLet getting Gina to take the pills isn't a strong enough connection since that doesn't seem to be how she died.

If Evaristo IS the only connection, then this TN really should be called 99 Times Evaristo (as I think someone already suggested), because everything in it is ultimately about HIM.
 

Yay, Marcelo punched Mariano. After his crap with Jenny and Gina et al, Tio has some nerve going off on Marcelo. I want to see Ramiro punch him too.

Tio knows AnaLe is too possessive, so his involving himself in her marriage is stoopid. Getting the poor child (Not!) thinking they're on the same incest wavelength. Ick.

Glad Viri plans to put AnaLe in her place over Soledad, and not over Tio. Tio needs to clean up his own mess.
 

At this rate, all of the mysteries and secrets will be revealed in the last two episodes, where:

- The mystery of who killed Gina will be revealed.
- The mystery of what's in the safety deposit box will be revealed.
- Ana Lucia finds out she's a triplet and is reunited with her bio family (for 2 minutes, before Ana Leticia tries to throw her down the stairs).
- Soledad finds out she's the missing Rivadeneira sister and is reunited with her sisters (just after they've had her thrown in jail for kidnapping).
- Everyone finds out Evaristo has been ALL of their puppet master for the past 20+ years (just before he kicks the bucket from his mystery ailment).
- Everyone finds out Ana Leticia is a crazy, tio-loving murderer, who needs to be locked up.
 

Vivi, your scenario makes me sad because it is probably true.

That would mean that the next 20 episodes will be about Inaki and Tadeo, Inaki and Ghoulietta, Mariano and Viridiana, Valeria and Edmundo, Ernestina and Rodrigo, and all the other subplots that frankly I wouldn't mind if they fell by the wayside. All I really care about is getting AnaLu and Soledad together with their sisters, and finding a nice manicomio for AnaLet. I don't really mind the other subplots, but if they're just being used as stalling tactics then I'd at least like them to be more exciting.

Oh, and what about Oilando? Do we have a plan for him? Does it involve shampoo?

About the Tarot cards: The writers need to do some better research on this. The "Death" card does not mean death, it means transformation or change. How do I know? I was all caught up in the occult and new age many years ago, but I no longer practice that anymore because I realized how dangerous it really is.

Ewwwww....I wanted to vomit when Ana LeMe was slithering all over Mariano again. What is wrong with him? Either he likes it or he's so stupid he doesn't know his niece is coming on to him. Ewww.....gross!

So if this brain tumor of SanMarc is so serious, why don't they fly him to a fine hospital in the USA such as USC or UCLA where they specialize in neurosurgery? I find it hard to believe he was diagnosed with a tumor that will kill him in 6 months and the doctors discharged him from the hospital so easily with no treatment. Certainly in Mexico City they must have treatment to start him off with!
 

As terrible as his misdeeds have been, my heart went out to Inaki last night. His mother is a fiend in a dress. I sense that somewhere in the cocoon of hurt his mother has woven around his heart, there is a son longing to be loved. Although he had no love for Daniel, I don't think his hatred was strong enough motivation for murder. I think he vented all his rage and hurt out on Daniel. Yet, that is not necessarily whom he wanted to kill. Such a fine line.

I'll wait to comment on Valentin until the recap is up.

I really was surprised that Viri decided that she may as well be the one to pull the reins in on AnaLetMe(makeeveryonemiserable, after her observation that that young woman seems to spread hatred and misery everywhere she goes. It almost looks like a woman to woman thing rather than a fight over Mariano. If that is the case, good for her. Somebody needs to do it. But Viri Deary, don't dirty your hands for the sake of Mr TioIncest. I think you can do a little better. After seeing AnaLetMe(markmyterritory) I am surprised Viri didn't have second thoughts about Tio anyway. I mean Analet did the feline equivalent of spraying ole Tio.

Ha...AnaPIano...my favorite nickname ever..with the exception of my name for Marcelo Cordova's character (Tialovng ABuelokiller) in a telenovela I cannot remember the name of.
 

Diana....I think there might be a long line of ladies wanting to offer love and support to INaki.
 

Ria Remedios only has one enemy, so I figured it was Facundo but I couldn't imagine why until I saw Marcelo give him the green light. Love is pretty powerful, and she has a strong hold on him. Ana Lucia, not so much, Santi's already abandoned her. It's his madrina that he always runs back to. We underestimate their bond.

Julie Gina was pretty integrated with most of the main characters: Ev, Tio, Tin, Ram, Marc, AnaLet, Llora. Daniel and Jennifer's death seem to have gone to the wayside for the most part, but Gina's death being highlighted makes me feel like maybe her death was a smoke screen. Maybe Ev caught up w/ her and had her fake the drowning, then got taken captive when Martinez showed up. Idk my mind doesn't feel ready to accept that she'd been killed, but then I remember the hooker's death and I feel like the killer is definitely capable of killing whoever & with very little motive.

Kirby Your whole rant was hilarious. I suspect she'll test him by showing up in his bedroom wearing a negligee before she repeats that almost-kiss she threw at him last night.

Urban I like Viri matched up against her, she's the only one aside from Claudia who'll put AnaLet in her place. I just fear she'll be her next victim soon after. And I'm not sure Ana Let will lose in this TN b/c the writers keep sprinkling her w/ empathetic traits. Not that I'm empathizing, but I was watching yesterday and I sighed. It hit me that this is a sad TN. There's no intermingling happy or light scenes. It's problem after problem, and it might not come to the happy resolution we're expecting. I only say that b/c the last time I sighed like this was during Rubi, and look what happened there.



Cynthia I was into new age too, way back when. I don't consider it dangerous, mostly b/c I don't believe in mystical stuff, other than scientific based ones like a holographic-universe and Quantum Mechanics. I do believe in illusions and our minds playing tricks, though. Also used to believe in the law of attraction, but nothing in science or our deterministic universe allows for such a thing. I even have my doubts about free-will (not choice necessarily, but our mind's awareness of the choice before the brain decides). Sorry, did I mention I'm a nerd?

Diana I usually have a soft spot for villians (mostly the ones that have personality: Joker, Hades, Megamind, Darth Vader, The Godfather, Loki, BeetleJuice, Catwoman, Grinch, etc. you get the idea). Inaki will have my support b/c he's a killer with a conscience. He's not proud of what he's done, and he's definitely not smearing lipstick while reliving the murder either. Call me a weirdo or a sucker for the under-under-under dog lol. Evaristo is a favorite of mine too. I don't mind either of these two winning. I know anvils are to be expected, so I'm at least hoping for a Thelma/Louise ending for him and the one he loves (Ana Leticia). A sort of "ride off into the sunset", but in a ride off a cliff interpretation.

You know, I actually thought the piece Llora played last night was a step up from the usual funeral dirges she has played. She's getting there.

Good lord AnaLoon. And the smarming on Tio. Noticed she said nothing when it was Santi getting beat the crap out of, but Marcelo struts out ( watch those bloody noses) hits Tio back and man, she moves faster than the speed of light. Tio cannot be that dumb: the way she looks longingly into his eyes, last night she was one step away from moving in for the kill...I wondered if that grab the head and put it to his shoulder was a purposeful move by him to stop her and he just can't deal with what could be the truth that Viri has pointed out. You know, honestly, I'm at the point that I'm so tired of the smarmy behavior, go ahead, kiss him and we either watch the guy freak out ( we hope) or yeah, well trying not to think of that. Just end it already.

I don't get why Rem is a target and not others-what about Soledad? She knows what's up too or are the mercenary duo going down their hit list. Isn't it special when you see a father and son spending quality time together?

No sympathy for Ana MeMeMe. No matter what she said to Ana Laura, she has no empathy for either part of SantMarc; as pointed out, she didn't even try to defend him. I hope somebody noticed that.

As to Facundo, he doesn't know about the brain tumor. He was already out of town before the hospital visit and he hasn't been back long enough to have been told yet. I also agree that no doctor would have allowed SantMarc to leave the hospital after a diagnosis like that. My friend was operated on four days later and she was in hospital for two more weeks. She is now undergoing radiation treatment and will have four rounds of chemo after that is over.

As to the two quizzes, I am apparently Ana Leticia according to the first and Carlota Espionza de los Monteros (ENDA) according to the second. When I was a theatre major in college I preferred playing the bad girls, so that makes a certain kind of sense.
 

SusanLynn, if you can watch En Nombre del Amor. That character was Leticia Calderon's first series villain and she was brilliant!
 

Has Viewerville noticed that the persona of Marcelo is increasingly abrupt and murderous and that of Santiago more sweet and caring to the point of liking Ana Let?. The conflict between the 'personalities' has reached a breaking point with Marcelo giving Fecundo the green light to take out Remedios. How this conflict gets resolved remains to be seen. Perhaps an operation? A commitment to an asylum? Jail?

Mariano has taken up the suggestion (I think it was from Evaristo) that a second woman was seen at the construction site where Jennifer died. It seems he has requested the police to investigate the 'lead' much to annoyance of Ana Leticia. But will he blame Marcelo for her death? "She died in my arms!" Pow!

Does anyone know how many more episodes are left?
 

The total is 160 episodes. By my math, that leaves us with 69. So we're screwed, go figure.
 

Mariano is as annoying as Ernestina with his trigger-happy responses. How he jumped to the conclusion that SantMarc had killed Jenny after he said he had gone to Costa Paraiso and Jenny died in his arms, is beyond me. Considering that Jenny was his cousin and not his enemy, the first questions would be: did you see what happened, did she say anything, did she suffer?

Mariano also has a nerve getting irate, when Ramiro has learned that Mariano forced Gina to write a goodbye note at gunpoint, was with her the day she died, and yet Mariano refuses to answer any of Ramiro's questions about what happened after. Ramiro should have treated his jaw to the same punch Mariano gave SantMarc.
 

Vivi Exactly. Add "Did you happen to see the woman that was there?" or what we all probably would've asked before throwing girly fists & ruining our manicures: "What the hell do you mean she died in your arms?" and then just go from there. But yes, I wish Ramiro decked him, but our galan Ramiro is much too classy and probably didn't want to get his hand infected.
 

(yep late again and I'm not even getting to watch a full episode on the days I don't recap and I only just got to read the recaps(thanks so much, fellow recappers) so that I know what's going on just before watching this. This is becoming an unfortunate routine but hopefully when things slow down I'll be able to get back into the swing of things. Whatever, on to the recap)

Part 1

Santiago is all telling BadAna bout his luuurve for her sis (oh dude, bad plan, look at her face) Actually she starts to look a little sad when he says Analu is unique. She interrupts him and tells him he's a better kisser than Marcelo. (One more thing for Marcelo to be mad at her for)


Orlando is in trouble at work and at work following trouble/BadAna.


Nerina sees the kiss and confronts Santiago about it, mostly she just thinks he should stop giving Analu false hope. Abue comes in and introduces Santiago and Nerina to each other, awkward.

Analu calls Santiago's cell to cry to him about how she loves him and find out the woman she talked to was not his wife but his sister in law

Bad Ana goes to talk to Llora about why she's not dripping snot and tears all over the place after hearing their sis is fer sure dead. - 'do you know something I dont?' Llora doesn't want her to get mad but she doesn't believe Analu is dead. BadAna wants her to accept "reality" but Llora won't give up hope. Now they girl talk about how hard it is for BadAna to be living w/2 men at the same time. Llora knows about double personality Marcelo, she's met Santiago. BadAna confesses its actually not a hardship its really super fun and she sometimes doesn't want Marcelo back at all as she kinda likes Santiago better. (you and me both sister) Llora counsels that Santi isn't real and Bad Ana teases her about being a psychology nerd and instead of crying Llora gives a shy grin and a 'ya que?' (whatcha gonna do?) and a shrug. Bad Ana goes on for a while about how much nicer Santi is than Marcelo and how weird it is to cheat on her husband w/her husband. Llora is just happy she's happy and thinks this could be a second chance for them both. BadAna looks like she would really like a second chance and to change. (we'll see how long that lasts)

Inaki wants more love/$$ since she's paying him to love her and buying his forgiveness. She knows you can't buy love or forgiveness, she's just buying his time. She hopes that if they spend lots of time together he will really forgive her and maybe even love her for realzies. He demands she not turn his friend in and she says ok but only b/c you asked me, I hope you realize how much its worth to me. Sue arrives and Inaki leaves. Sue thinks he's weird, no its just that Inaki and Daniel wer in love w/BadAna. Oh her again, somebody needs to take her down a peg and its gonna be Sue.


Santiago tells Ramiro how nice BadAna was to him and Ramiro is surprised and worried and is trying to convince him not to trust her when she comes down the stairs and catches him badmouthing her, again. She plays nice though and just tsk tsks about Ramiro's totally unfounded hate of her and whisks Santiago off to spend the day together.




Maribel notices Analu is sad and tells her to look around and notice all the other men in the world (yeah, but all them're not as hot as Santicelo so whatcha gonna do) but really she just wants to pump her for info about Ramiro, who she's already in love with, does he have a wife or a gf? Analu doesn't think he's married but will find out for her. Orlando who?

Part 2

Abue tells Nerina bout how her nieta is dead and cries. Nerina tries to revive hope, keep looking, then they hear Llora playing and go to listen. Nerina starts singing along. Ramiro watches w/a smile, Valentin watches w/tears and a scowl
The song ends and its explanations of how everybody already knows everybody and compliments all around till Valentin rolls forward and calls Nerina mama. A shock goes through the room, Nerina tears up and asks why he didn't tell her and they leave the room to talk and so everybody remaining can talk about them while they're gone.
Val tells his mom how he feels about Llora and incidentally Ramiro and yeah he knows they're gonna get married.





Its bring your Santiago to work day in BadAna world (I'm not even going to mention her outfit b/c I've run out of new ways to express how workplace inappropriate they are) and they ignore the secretary telling them Tio is in a meeting w/Marcelo's dad and doesn't want to be disturbed and waltz in on them. Turns out TioM asked Marcelo's dad to help him re-open the how Jenny died case, they're gonna find out who that woman was. Eeep BadAna tries to convince Tio to forget it all and move on but no and now Santiago feels the need to confess that he was there when Jenny breathed her last and TioM leaps to the conclusion that Santi's to blame and leaps across the room to slug him. And BAM! Marcelo's back and throwing punches and words w/deadly accuracy - 'Jenny isn't the first woman you were involved with to end up dead, wanna talk about Gina, punk?
TioM comes back w/ oh how convenient is your amnesia Marcelo, Gina's death has nothing to do with this, you're nothing but trouble and a thug to boot. Marcelo says yeah I am and you are to but everybody thinks you're different, lets take those masks off shall we.
BadAna starts yelling at Marcelo for hitting her precious tio and he finally realizes TioM has and will always come first w/BadAna and stalks out, telling his dad to wrap up whatever his business w/TioM is b/c Marcelo is gonna bring him down so get out while the getting's good. He also on his way out,calls Inaki nobody and that's just uncalled for.
Orlando is noticing and noting it all. (His frantic note taking reminds me of me. I probably look just like that taking notes for my recap, only hopefully w/better hair/personal hygine)
Bad Ana fusses over her TioM (which causes her top to gap in the most distracting way, and I'm not even a dude....or a lesbian) and kicks everybody out of his office. He tells her how he never really liked that Marcelo guy and she thinks its a hint that he feels like she does, she hates to see him w/other women too she coos and starts hinting, - 'I love you the mostest, if I only knew....how much do you love me? When I was little you said you loved me all the love...' He misses the point as per usual and assures her he still loves her like he did when she was little *one sided hugs*
BadAna wonders to herself if tio feels like she feels and has just been hiding it like her. He wants to be alone but she wants to ask about Gina - 'you couldn't possibly have been involved w/the woman Ramiro was gonna marry, right tio?'



 

Part 3

At the pension Suzy the maid tries to get her cards read by Chana but Remedios sends her off to do her job b/c she doesn't like the cards, they make her nervous, its never good news. Apparently Remedios is completely right b/c when Chana looks at the card Remedios has grabbed, its the death card. Remedios thinks that just proves her point that Chana never has anything good to say and Chana further cements this with her reading; Remedios's life is in danger, she sees a man who has opened the door to evil and lost his way and Remedios needs to be careful.


Marcelo and his dad lunch and talk about his problems w/Santiago, at least Marcelo has his memory and Santiago doesn't but the people in Santiago's life who love him give him strength and keep Marcelo from taking his life back, especially Remedios. Dad offers to get rid of her for him and Marcelo gives him the green light.

(I noticed though that Marcelo didn't mention the little matter of the brain tumor, wonder why not)

Yes, anon 3:07. I think Santi and Marc are actually drifting farther apart - becoming more extreme. I didn't think Santi was so bad a couple of weeks ago, but he's getting squishier and squishier. Soon AnaLet will have to carry him around in a bowl.

Daisy, I agree that Laura's music was a little more upbeat last night. It wasn't exactly the Maple Leaf Rag, but it was an improvement.

Now, did anyone else think it was weird for Nerina to assure Ernestina to keep on looking for AnaLu, knowing that AnaLu's existence is supposed to be a secret? Does she want to keep the secret, or doesn't she? (It's a rhetorical question. I think she doesn't want to keep the secret. But then giving hope to Ernestina is a very poor compromise.)
 

I'm on Team Vivi. "...jaw to the same punch Mariano gave SantMarc." We only have 69 episodes left, we need to start getting in some buttkickin, beatdowns and brawls. Marcelo sure messed up Sweet Thing Tio's hairdo.

I'm getting used to people in telenovelas wearing cocktail dresses to work but this one was really sensational and extreme. Yes we saw some interesting side shots and of course a whole lot of incredible leg and sculptured back as well. Flaunt it while you have it Angelique. You go girl!

Reading a study on chronic pain and how the brain works and at one point the author says we are all equally capable of compassion or cruelty. So Santiago and Marcello are acting out those two extremes and it's still a puzzle as to how the personality will be integrated. But for sure neither will go away, according to that perspective.

Afraid to take the quiz since I mostly prefer the decisive no-nonsense Marcello.

Julie, loved your comment that Santiago was getting so squishy soon he would have to be carried around in a bowl. Maybe that's why I like Marcello...I'm a bit too squishy myself.

Question for Viewerville: which persona was in charge when Marcelo/Santiago was told that he had a brain tumor? If we are to believe the latest rant by Marcelo to Facundo that Santiago's persona is fragmented and can't remember much, do both personalities know about the tumor? If both know then why doesn't the more responsible Santiago check himself into the hospital? Perhaps this is one of the issues between Marcelo and Santiago: Marcelo does not want the operation and Santiago does. If so this may be why Marcelo wants everything connected to Santiago destroyed. Remedies has a hit on her. But will Marcelo also finally go after Ana Lucia as well?
 

Anon- It was Santi in charge when the tumor was diagnosed, and this is the first time that Marcelo has emerged since then. We haven't had enough time with him yet to learn how he feels about it. But he should remember the diagnosis, as he remembers everything that Santi experiences.

Vivi our comments to Anon crossed but you bring up something I've been wondering about. I've been assuming Marcelo must know about the tumor since he knows everything else Santiago does, but he hasn't said anything about it. Is he, like Santi, thinking he'll maybe lose control of the body permanently if its removed or if he thinks Santi will go away why not just get it done quick and get rid of Santi w/o having to get rid of Remedios, but I guess he hasn't had much time to do or say anything I guess.
 

Since meals seem to last a LONG time in this tn, Marcelo and Facundo might still be having lunch by the end of the next episode, and somewhere in between plotting and scheming, he'll get around to telling his father about the tumor.
 

For all the Caraymates in the DMV who are fans of Sebastian Rulli, he's doing a public appearance at a shopping center in Hyattsville, MD tomorrow.

"He demands she not turn his friend in". Inaki is nothing if not a loyal friend. Of course that doesn't extend to Ana Let but he was under no obligation to stand up for Santiago to his horrendous "mother".

Tio and Ana Let are really cut from the same cloth. Mariano is a dog but he is a step above in that he is capable of real caring.
