Sin Senos (an update)

wow,

Yesica is pronounced dead and soon to be buried, but is in hiding.

Marcial and Titi are free, having completed their deal with the DEA for killing her.

Yesica's mother has also died, in surgery (plastic), her body is brought to the ranch for Yesica to give her last goodbyes, but she sees the body transform into Catalina (the elder ?) and shoots it, the Capitan and Daniela are not impressed.

Cata and family have left town, staying on a coffee plantation with help from Hilda's former cellmate, Albeiro does not like being run off, Hilda thinks they will find peace here, Cata misses her friends,

Albeiro sees Cata has an expensive cellphone and jumps to conclusions, but Hilda reins him in, for now. Cata is faced with hiding all the money she has brought along.

Jota and Adriana are inside Cata's house watering the plants when Mugroso plants a bomb, Vanessa yells for them to run, and they do, but the bomb blasts everyone in the street for at least a block away, Adriana looks dead, Jota, further from the blast, gets up holding his ears.

Pipe has fled with Yesica's life savings from her house safe, abandoning Hernan, who wisely cleans up any proof of their theft.

(hmm, but Yesica's husband has given his two best guards the job of stealing the safe's contents, and Hernan has changed the combination)

Pipe urges Vale to run away with him, but no, so he leaves her with a laptop (is this the memory to the surveillance system) and some important documents that were in the safe, to be given to Hernan, what?, Cata exclaims as Vale tells her, he IS alive?

Titi, on the make, swings through the old barrio searching for Cata the younger, to no ones liking, except Martina, or does she just lead every potential money on. (she does say that she has crossed Yesica and is afraid to go out where the body guards can snatch her, Titi says he will protect her)

Yesica, who is elated that Cata's family has been reduced to atoms in the blast, discovers Pipe is missing, and puts Mugroso on the case, will Pipe get his mother away in time?

Daniel and Lucia, glow in her pregnancy, but still have the job of clearing their names.

and where is Gato?

Sin Senos

Thanks for the detailed recap Deb, I enjoyed watching this telenovella full of suspense, Sin Lana is becoming boring and predictable. I don't know what happened to today's episode my subtitles refused to appear, am hoping someone will do a recap on today's episode.

SILVANA – JUEVES

As I mentioned, this will be brief. I didn’t get home from book club until after 10 PM.

Manuel WAS inviting Chivis to go to a motel with him. She says she can’t do it; she’s only had one man ever. And she has a lot on her plate right now.

Stella again tells Manuel Chivis will leave him when AJ gets out of jail.

Lucha tells Mauro and Andrés that she’s going to run for president of the students organization.

Majo is on her way back from the jail. She can’t find her keys. Vicente appears and she wraps her arms around him. She tells him to never let her go. She also tells him how angry she is with her father and about what he did to Andrés parents. Vicente is happy to hold her but sensibly goes to class.

Chivis has brought Lupita to see her father. She’s overjoyed to see him; and we see a sweet side of AJ.

On the balcony Manuel gives Chivis a bouquet of roses. And he asks her to go to Key West with him for a day. Wow, she’s getting tiresome not being willing to even get away with him for a few hours.

Trini is ragging on DB at the bakery, insisting she won’t forgive him until Margarita comes and apologizes to Angie. Just then a rather vulgar old girlfriend of his shows up, Sarita de Carmen. Trini is NOT pleased.

Majo tells Andrés she wants to get married next week. [What?] He’s very happy and is even funny, describing how she’ll iron his shirts and cook meals. Then: Kidding!!

Poncho comes in with a group of employees and acts like a complete jerk about the contract for the terminal. Manuel explains something about the .4% being a set aside for taxes and it being for their benefit. Poncho is mortified.

After the others leave Poncho tells Manuel this whole line of behavior has been to impress Stella. He apologizes profusely. They have a long talk. The gist is that Poncho slips up with something about “the other guy”. Manuel now knows he’s off the hook and is thrilled.

Angie comes to see her father and puts him on the spot with very direct questions about his leaving them with no word.

Stella is showing off her padded stomach to Dominique. It makes her look like about 7 months along, quite a dramatic change from one day to the next. She plans to show this belly off at the Terminal. Dom tries to talk sense to no avail, as usual.

SILVANA:

Novelera- Thank you! I missed last night's episode because of my Thursday evening class, so this was perfect.

Glad Poncho's loose lips gave Manuel a further clue that Stella is a liar. Not like he needed it, since he didn't believe a word out of her crazy mouth.

Manuel is sweet, patient and romantic with Chivis. I wish she would reciprocate at some point. Not saying she has to go away with him, but can't she show him a little affection? Why is he the one always giving her little romantic gifts? Can't she give him a little gift sometime?

Silvana

Great job, novelera! Many thanks. I'm in awe of your ability to get everything important into a clear, short, delightful recap. And the recap helped me understand what the .4% was for. I was frankly delighted to see Poncho mortified, and especially in front of the co-workers he brought along. Earlier in the novela I had a little sympathy for this poor shnook, but he's become so pompous and tiresome that whenever I see him all I want to do is FF>>.

I'm hoping Stella, too, is recognized for the fool (and liar) that she is by all her co-workers if/when she carries out her plan to show off her suddenly large belly in front of everyone at the terminal. I guess perhaps Poncho and she deserve each other.

While my mean streak is showing, I think I'll say a few nasty words about kind-hearted but apparently clueless Don Benito. He sure has terrible taste in lady friends. Trini, for whom I have very little patience, seems like God's gift in comparison to the vulgar Sarita de Carmen.

OK, I'll now put my mean streak back into its not-so-hidden hiding place and end my posting. I'm racing to get to an appointment, but I didn't want to do so before I thanked you for your recap (and gave vent to my spleen :-) ).

Silvana

thanks so much for taking the time to throw out a recap novelera!

(and many thanks to J for Wednesdays)

I think the extra .4% came out in the English caps as to allow for inflation, as is in a contract for wages, added to get the landlord to buy the lower increase.

ah yes, Sarita de Carmen, as Benito explains his snobbish neighbors she asks if they might need a housekeeper, what? as later Chivis consoles Trini she adds that she has been doing well money wise and may be able to hire someone to help around the house.

Silvana. Excellent recap, novelera. Have you noticed that really long recaps aren't as necessary as they used to be because so little new is happening? Though we do learn that MJ actually seems to like working now, and doesn't just want to hang around the house making Andrés' life comfortable? She has come a long way. Andrés says he was kidding, but I suspect that his ideas about marriage are pretty traditional. But how long will this "the wedding's on, the wedding's off thing last?" As I've said before, I hope we don't have a "The Graduate"-type end to the wedding ceremony! Trini's jealousy of Sarita del Carmen is funny and serves her right! Lupita's visit with AJ was actually kind of touching. I will say that the guy playing AJ is a good actor and especially fine with the facial expressions. Could the most recent visits of his 3 daughters finally get him to realize how awful what he did was? ....Nah! Poncho really blows the lid off things with that revelation about Stella and Esteban. But unlike Dom, he doesn't realize that she's not pregnant. That fake pregnancy bump of Stella's was really over the top. As if anyone will believe she got that pregnant overnight. It would have been smarter to wear very loose clothing for a while.

Sin Senos, (Thursday)

(thanks Anon)

Pipe is met at his mothers by Mugroso and Chelo, outgunned he takes out Mugroso who has taken time out to beat down and kick Pipe's mother, did Mugroso tell Pipe he doesn't get it, the purpose of life is to die.

and then Pipe kills Chelo in a standoff, after offering to help free his mother as well, so he can leave the gang,

but Pipe is mortally wounded,

he gives his mother a map where the money is buried, and tells her how to find Vale, who he fell in love with, and instructs her to get the map to Hernan, half the money is his, half is his mothers, but give some to Vale, and to ask Hernan, to forgive me, he dies.

Albeiro, Hilda, and Cata begin their day on the plantation, Cata hears the docs report on Adriana via Vale's phone.

Vale wants Jota to take her to get Cata, maybe after Adriana stabilizes, Vale wonders if maybe she shouldn't have gone with Pipe, tells her mother about her boyfriend.

the Capitan tells Yesica they haven't found any bodies in the house, but Yesica insists he find them and send pictures, so he tells one of his men to get 3 like bodies from the cemetery, get them burnt and charred and bring them to the house, if it's lies she wants...

Anibal (Yesica's husband) goes to open the safe, but..., as the house keeper asks him to not be in Daniela's room, Hernan hovers around.

Yesica is slowed down in washing her pills down with alcohol by Daniela, but wants to go to her mothers funeral, and why aren't Pipe, Mugroso, or Chelo answering their phones?

SILVANA
Yes vivi in dc chivis is beginning to annoy me, I was saying the same thing too about chivis not showing affection towards Manuel, I believe the mistake Manuel made was telling her he will wait for as long as it takes, I think Manuel should ask chivis where they stand in the relationship and I dont think chivis will change unless she feels like she's about to lose Manuel for good

Olise

SILVANA:

Olise- I don't even mean physical affection, because I understand her hangups about still being married (although she hasn't moved a finger to seek out a divorce lawyer). But damn-- cook the man a meal, take him on a dinner date, give him a nice little gift, some flowers and chocolate, something, anything! It's all give, give, give by Manuel, and take, take, take by Chivis.

SILVANA

Facts vivi, I understand her situation but I also get all what you said, I really felt sorry for Manuel seeing him beg chivis for just a lil time together and she rejecting him repeatedly

Olise

SILVANA

novelera - Thank you for the recap! It would not be surprising if Stella goes from flat stomach one day to wearing that pillow the next day. Bless her heart, she is delusional.

The AJ scenes with both daughters were sweet, in that we see he loves them in his own way. We also see just how delusional he is, too, and in so much denial about his crimes. I wonder if he out and out lost the money from bad investments or if he was running a Ponzi scheme. I think one of our Patio peeps already mentioned Ponzi scheme possibility.

Yes, it definitely would be nice if Chivis did something for Manuel, for a change. She might not, though, as long as she is still married to AJ. While she is done with being married to him, I think she is a good Catholic girl who will honor those marriage vows until the divorce is final. We can see she feels a bit guilty about liking Manuel so much. There is also the whole 'setting a good example for her daughters' thing. But time will tell.

SILVANA:

I think setting a good example can include doing something nice for the neighbors who have done so much for them. How nice it would have been had they cooked and hosted a dinner for the vecinos after they allowed them to hide all their furniture and have all their meals there? Did they ever even do anything nice for Don Benito after be bought Lupita's communion dress? Manuel, Vicente, and Don B have really gone above and beyond for their lady loves.

SILVANA

Vivi, you are right and how quickly I forgot all that. 😵

SIN SENOS

Deb, I really appreciated your updates. The twisting plots and subplots have become confusing, especially since the English subtitles disappeared for one night this past Tuesday or Wednesday. A fan on Twitter suggested that since Diabla's mother admitted having an older estranged daughter in another city, maybe Diabla will steal her identity in order to escape "death?" I suspect this sequel will end with a cliffhanger so that we tune in for Part III.

Sin Senos (friday)

Adriana lies dying, gets her wish, her first kiss, from Vale.

as Yesica prepares to go to her mothers funeral, Capitan gets a call, the bodies of Pipe, Mugroso, and Chela have been found,

Vale talks Cata through turning on the gps in her phone so Vale can go get her,

Daniela arrives at the house, gets the call from her mother, not knowing who killed their bodyguards, going to the funeral is off, Daniela tells Hernan, he wants guns, men and authority, hints Anibal might be responsible.

Albeiro learns how to milk cows, Hilda hears about a school for Cata, such a paradise.

Daniel gets proof (confirmed fingerprints from autopsy) from a colleague that indeed Yesica is dead, he looks forward to clearing himself, but not in this town where he trusts no one.

Adriana dies, (this breaks my heart),
Daniela is dead, Vale swears.

Cata takes the news badly, tell me it's not true, lie to me,
she spills to her mom.

Capitan investigates the deaths of Pipe, Mugroso, Chelo, died as they lived, three more for hell, takes the remaining bodyguard Calvo, to the ranch to meet Yesica.

Anibal takes his guards to the house during the funeral to rob the safe, sends the house keeper off on errands, but at the safe there is a knock at the door, Daniela?

Sin Senos

thanks Mary!
if I can help with any questions...

interesting idea about the sister,

wiki is saying this will be 90 episodes, wrapping up by the end of November, followed by "La Dona".

Windows10 has "maps" like google maps, and it's neat to zoom in on the town where this takes place, Pereira, Colombia, first and foremost is that bridge.

Silvana

did Manuel tell Chivis, "don't look a gift shark in the mouth?"

SIN SENOS

Thanks, Deb! I am bummed out by the deaths of Pelambre, Pipe, Adriana, Hernan's mom and even obnoxious Octavio and enabling Imelda.

Did Marcial take credit for mailing all his and Cata's marriage certificate copies? He seemed to be not the culprit, which leaves the ghostly Cata I as the culprit. Also, I got very confused by Octavio's walking back of his Cata I sightings. I can't remember, but did Pelambre bring her body back to Pereira for burial by her mother, or did he just bring the news? Diabla wants to check out her body.

Pipe was stupid for grabbing the entire contents of Diabla's safe. If he just wanted to survive in freedom, he could have just taken some cash and saved the time he wasted burying her entire loot by actually fleeing with his mom. His length of absence did him in.

Anibal is quite a creep. Maybe Daniela will shoot him herself?

I do love Pereira's iconic white bridge which featured scenes, including a possible suicide by Cata I, in the original series.

SIN SENOS

Also, it was very sly of Hernan to play Daniela off against Anibal.

--Mary

Sin Senos

Mary- Franklin was also one of my favorite characters for some reason, even when he was a bad guy, (maybe it was the actor) but then he turned out to be a good guy, and was buried in two graves.

I think Marcial was responsible for the marriage certificates, but maybe that wasn't very clear, to rattle Yesica and lead to filing the lawsuit against her and wasn't the second and original copy delivered to Hilda by Chuky, when he zoomed up to them on his moto like a sicario, or was that just the invite to meet Marcial.

it seems Anibal's interest in the safe is to recover his pre-nup agreement.

yes, Hernan seems to have matured well, and in a not so naive way seems to be smarter then them all, like when he asks when he will be able to see his mother.

Sin Senos

Mary- oh and Cata 1st, I believe Octavio said only Pelambre was there when she was buried.

SILVANA

Deb - yes, he said that. LOL

Silvana sin Lana – Friday, October 28 – Capítulo 70, part 1/2

Trini is happy upon hearing that Chivis plans to hire someone to help around the house a few times per week. Chivis goes to Don Benito’s to ask if he knows of anyone she can hire and Sara offers up her services.

Stella shows off her fake baby bump at the terminal. She tries to get under Chivis’ skin talking about needing to buy new clothes, but Chivis just keeps on walking by.

Angie and Jorge talk about her dad. She’s still not sure how she feels about forgiving him, with everything he’s done to their family. Plus he seems to think that everything will return to normal when he gets out of jail, including getting back together with Chivis. Angie knows that won’t happen since her mom has fallen in love with Manuel.

Stella catches up with Chivis outside to ask annoying common sense questions about being pregnant. She pretends to be sad and scared about having to raise the baby alone and begs Chivis to talk to Manuel for her.

Apparently Jorge never caught on that Chivis and Manuel were in love. He didn’t even know that they had kissed. He calls himself tonto for not realizing earlier. Angie is slightly worried about what will happen since her dad is powerful and manipulative. Jorge doesn’t think AJ will be a problem for Chivis and Manuel since they are in love. Lupita enters the room and wants to know who they were talking about.

Andres is in a good mood, singing the theme song while working on his computer. Lucha sits down next to him and notices how happy he seems. He tells her that everything with Majo is resolved. She can’t imagine having someone like AJ as a father-in-law. Andres responds that he’s marrying Majo and not AJ, but Lucha points out that when you marry someone, you marry their entire family. Andres then tells Lucha that he and Majo are getting married in a week.

Lucha seems to take the news ok. Andres once again says te quiero mucho to her but she changes the subject to how different his married life will be, with Majo wanting seven or eight kids and him needing to buy a bigger car. He calls it ‘heavy’ thinking about kids. She hopes they turn out as encantadores as him. He congratulates him and leaves to go study, but changes her mind. She doesn’t want him to marry Majo. It really hurts her. She knows that they come from different worlds but they see things the same way, and if they had met earlier, she knows that she would have won his heart. Andres is speechless as she walks away.

Angie and Jorge pretend they were talking about themselves being in love. Lupita knows they were talking about her mother and she’s tired of everyone hiding things from her.

Poncho is called a liar at the terminal. [I didn’t get much of the conversation between Dom, Poncho, and Vicente talking about math??] Stella and Chivis arrive at the same time and ask if Manuel isn’t busy. Stella heads off to the office first since she needs to talk to the father of her baby.

Silvana sin Lana – Friday, October 28 – Capítulo 70, part 2/2

Poncho reveals to Dom that he told Manuel that Steve is the father of Stella’s baby.

Manuel finally gets Stella to admit that the baby isn’t his. In her delusional mind, she still claims the kid is sort of his because it’s his fault that she got pregnant by someone else since he rejected her, or something equally crazy. Manuel doesn’t reveal who told him, but Stella knows it was Poncho.

Mauro and Lucha talk about the election for president of the student association and she thinks they should focus on helping children. Mauro thinks she will be great a mother. He asks if he ever thought about them having kids together. She thinks having kids is a big responsibility that requires a lot of money. He thinks all that matters is that you have them with the person you love. Lucha’s mind is elsewhere (while her and Andres’ theme song starts playing in the background). Mauro snaps his fingers to get her attention and says he was talking about how he would marry her. Lucha thinks he’s gone crazy. Getting married is not in her plans. She makes an excuse to run off to the bathroom.

Majo tells Angie and Trini that she and Andres are getting married the next week. She doesn’t seem too excited about it, which Trini notices. Majo pretends it’s just because of AJ not being there. Angie comments that she had better be sure since marriage is for life.

Manuel tells Chivis that Stella’s baby is definitely not his. She finally believes him and they start planning their little escape to the beach together. They’ll tell the kids they’re just going to pick up some products.

Stella attacks Poncho and keeps slapping his arm for spilling the beans to Manuel. She is really angry and he is really upset. Dom comforts him, claiming it’s just her pregnancy hormones making her that way.

Pedrito is sick and Lupita tries to take care of him. She tells him about her dad in jail. He doesn’t want to drink the lemonade she made for him, and she seems a little offended. He notices that she’s getting upset and says they can talk on the balcony like their parents do. Lupita wonders if Pedrito knows something she doesn’t, but he thinks they’re just friends. Lupita thinks Manuel will get along with AJ and Pedrito agrees that all three of them will be friends.

Alejandra and Vicente study at his house. Vicente seems a little uncomfortable/unsure since Ale is really forward with him, touching his arm. He explains that he always liked school but he had to go to work to help his dad. Now he wants to be able to take over the business when Manuel retires, or at least have the possibility to do something else in life. Alejandra asks if anyone else is in the house and kisses him just as Lupita walks down the stairs.

SIN SENOS

Deb, yes, I started liking Franklin too because of his hidden heroism. It was horrible that he got sawed in half. Also, it was clever of the writers to make us think that his watcher, the guy in the poncho, was Marcial's spy, instead of "torturer" Franklin.

Did Chuky get his freedom along with Marcial and Titi? I really like Chuky also.

In the original series, I'm pretty sure Marcial divorced or annulled his marriage to Cata, and that changed for this diverging story line.

Anibal also wants Diabla's money, and I can't tell if he is really attracted to Daniela or simply wants her money. He seemed devastated by Diabla's death, even though he didn't trust her.

I also liked the actress who played Diabla in the original series, but I don't think she could have pulled off the bloody evilness of this older Diabla. It would be cool if the original actress turns up as Diabla's older sister. Maybe news of Imelda's death will flush out that estranged sister?

Didn't Pipe's mother tell dying Pipe that Hernan was his nephew? I loved how Hernan played Daniela regarding his mother.

--Mary

Silvana

J, thanks for the recap. I am glad that Manuel got Stella to admit that the baby is not his, and that finally he and Chivis will have a little private time together. Majo and Andres deserve each other in my opinion. I'm not exactly sure how long it's been since she and Vincente slept together but it seems to me it's about time for her to start having nausea attacks. So, I'm curious to see if the writers will actually have them get married. I feel sorry for Lupita as she will be heartbroken when she learns that her mother no longer loves her dad. Does anyone know whether Pedrito knows that his dad is in love with Chivis?
Helen

Silvana

Many thanks, J, for another fine recap. Wow, Stella has to be one of the most delusional characters I've ever seen. Even after she admits that Manuel is not the father, she still finds a way to say that he is. He's responsible for the baby since his rejection of Stella pushed her into Steve's arms. Yeah, right.

I wonder how Trini will take to Sarita's being their hired help. My guess is that Trini will be intolerable to her, and Sarita doesn't strike me as someone who will tolerate bad treatment, especially from another woman.

Wow, it took guts for Lucha to say what she did to Andrés about caring for him and not wanting him to marry Majo. I know I couldn't have done that when I was her age. I bet her words have more of an effect than she anticipates.

J, I'm afraid I didn't catch much of the conversation between Dom, Poncho, and Vicente. I confess that I'm somewhat relieved to know that I'm not the only one. :-)

Helen, I think that Pedrito certainly knows more than Jorge did before Angie clued him in. IIRC, Pedrito was at the balcony's window during one of Manuel's sessions with Chivis.

Sin Senos

Mary- hmm, I think Chuky was a guy Marcial knew/hired and wasn't part of the DEA deal, that Marcial sent off so he wouldn't get caught up in all this, I noticed in the cast list he is referred to as el Chuky, so I looked up the word and one definition is "master" as in the master, (this story is so rico)

I can't imagine what will happen once Yesica realizes that Marcial's vendetta against her has ended and the DEA is gone,

cool if the original Yesica shows up again, I liked her, but wouldn't they have used her if she was available?

did you know that Majida Issa (Yesica) uncle is Miguel Varoni, who's married to Catherine Siachoque making her, her aunt?

what I got from Pipe's mom is that when he mentioned Hernan, I thought she said he had an uncle named Hernan.

Cata is really itching to get back into the action.

SILVANA
J -
Thank you for the recap!

”Lucha points out that when you marry someone, you marry their entire family.”
Isn’t that the truth!?!

Interesting that Lucha “declared herself” to Andres. This might be a turning point!
” …I bet her words have more of an effect than she anticipates.” ITA, Juanita .
Lucha looked really pretty in this episode.

Of all the people at the fish market who saw Stella’s massive fake baby bump, Manuel was the only one who questioned it appearing overnight? All those people are wearing telenovela beanie hats, and really tight ones.

So, looks like Chivis will get away for a beach weekend with PapiChulo. Vaya!!! There goes my theory (see previous post from yesterday). That just goes to show that whenever I have a Crackpot Theory™, we can be assured that the complete opposite will happen. My batting average for Crackpot Theories™ is .400! LOL

IIRC, during that Poncho/Vicente/Dom convo, Poncho admitted he was not good at math.

When Ale came after Vicente with that kiss, Vicente leaned in and kissed her back. (Nooooo!) He cannot claim to be an unsolicited beso victim! Since Majo is supposed to be marrying Andres, all's fair.

SILVANA

Meant to say --- My batting average for inaccurate Crackpot Theories is .400!

;-p

SILVANA

Thanks, J, for another very well-written recap. Stella’s doggedness in the face of reality is just unbelievable. Like everyone else, I’m thrilled that Stella finally had to own up to the fake baby not being Manuel’s. And, yes, what’s up with only Manuel mentioning the one-day amazing growth in her stomach! Doris, I agree about the too-tight telenovela beanies!

I had a dinner to go to last night, and then came home to watch the last 5 innings of the Indians-Cubs on my recording. So, I fell asleep on the couch before the last scene of Vicente and Ale. She’s kind of a cliché, isn’t she? The “other woman” or “other man” the writers introduce to try to give us some fake suspense is nearly always very, very over the top. They go after the protagonist with a complete lack of subtlety.

If anyone watched the first game of the World Series, that introductory scene where they had a lot of very old people talking about what this series meant to them and how long they’d waited for their respective team to win the World Series. My favorite, of course, was the salty old lady from Cleveland who said [echoing my own sentiments] that the Cubs can just wait another 100 years!

I predict that Lupita will rock Majo’s world and tell her about the kiss she saw.

Poncho deserved the angry reception he got at the Terminal. He was willing to betray a man who’d been nothing but kind to him in order to try to win a very, very unworthy woman. The writers are going to have to stay up all night working to come up with a scene that makes me happy when, inevitably I suppose, Stella and Poncho end up together. She’s completely selfish and has repeatedly threatened to evict and/or massively raise the rent of her only two friends in the world when she doesn’t get her way.

Dare we hope that Chivis and Manuel have a wonderful day together, maybe even ending up in bed?

SIN SENOS

Deb, you've raised interesting points. I've been going by the sometimes erstwhile English subtitles, so I don't catch everything. I think Marcial mentioned that Chuky had a similar DEA deal and that their failure to nab/kill Diabla meant that Chuky would also go back to prison. However, since Chuky didn't go on the lam with Marcial and Titi, he may have been quietly released with the news of Diabla's death. We shall see! Maybe he will rejoin Marcial and Titi in a future episode?

So Catherine Siachoque is Majida Issa's aunt! Wow! I'll bet they have fun "feuding" on the set: "I'm blowing up your house because your 'daughter' is prettier than my 'daughter!'" Maybe the in-law connection is why Majida got recast as Diabla? Maybe Catherine pushed for her because they are related and because she is so talented in portraying pure evil?

As for Hernan and Pipe, I think Pipe's mother said that her brother or sister's husband had a child named Hernan, thereby making Hernan Pipe's nephew - hence their easy genetic friendship. Hernan's mom did explain to Hernan that Diabla used her murdered husband and maybe another relative as mules.

SILVANA:

Thanks so much, J! I too was very happy that Stella had to admit to Manuel that the (fake) baby is not his, but shocked how she still tried to blame him. I couldn't believe that no one noticed the fake, overnight belly! Que?!

Crossing my fingers that nothing prevents Chivis and Manuel going away for their day-long date. Please, please, writers!

I was also impressed with Lucha's bravery. Andres will definitely be confused about his feelings now.

Silvana

You’re all welcome for the recaps. They’re a bit shorter than usual, but not much has been happening. Though it does seem like maybe we are getting out of the halfway-point-lull in the story. I feel like things are about to get interesting again, especially since Stella has nothing over Manuel anymore and the Majo/Andres wedding is supposed to take place in a week. But who knows - one week in TN time could end up being a month or two in our time.

deb, Manuel likes to change sayings and proverbs to fit the situation. He also changed se cuenta el milagro, pero no el santo (speak of the miracle, but not the saint) into se cuenta el milagro, pero no el mago (magician).

Silvana. Another excellent recap, J. Totally agree about no need for very long recaps when nothing much is happening. Our semi-annual Classics dinner was Friday night and Saturday was very busy so I couldn't watch the episode until last night. Totally agree with everyone about how strange it was that no one but Manuel noticed how weird it was that the baby bump appeared overnight. I loved it when Manuel said, "So I'm the intellectual father of your baby?" Vicente's saying that he's always been good at math explains why he would jump right into a calculus class and a math-based social science like economics. Chivis must be doing VERY well if she can afford a cleaning woman twice a week. I'm lucky if I can have someone come in and clean once a month. Poor Mauro! I think this is just one of those "She's just not that into you"situations.

SIN SUENOS:
These few weeks of the death of Diabla has been awesome, when TITI tried to get a BJ from Yessica ..I knew the blowback was coming!
The DEA found and recaptured ‘Big Daddy’, Marcial, at the funeral. What does Ms. Cata think she can really do with her hot pants riding up her ass and half naked!! Abierto had a lot a lot of heart ,but no back up, [“so punks jump up to be get beat down”! ]
I think he is one sexy [poppi -chulo] daddy, I see why Yessica wants to get with that!!
To say, His wife is a naïve [special ed]. is an understatement. But she did defend [too stupid to make it- out alive as a hooker] Cata, when she came home. I found Cata’s home coming with those big tittys and her dad’s response too dog -gone real!! Dad was no joke, he called it !! my child is whoring around. I thought the man was going to kill her. But he did what most men do, got pissy drunk!
The devil ‘s sister is plotting her ass off. I gotta give girlfriend credit, cause she ‘s straight-up hard core, everybody’s gonna die!!!, she loves blood /killing and then getting her grub on/ that bean soup must be something else!! The women is a genius /psycho path , but she is always two steps ahead, paranoia helps fuels great strategy!! She has blood lust, and I am sorry to say, Daniela is just as corrupt and sick as her ‘ma’!!
The bombing is in the works. The plan is to blow the whole block up!!
The big rip off the safe is also in the works. But Pipe and Hernan got to it first.
I was not too surprise when I saw how sleazy Anibal and greedy as well, I think he is going to take the fall for the heist but without the profit.

I get the feeling my favorite show is wrapping up!
Thing are moving too fast if you blink you miss too much. Since the Gato Gordo assault, the finding of the money and her return home Cata is lost.

I pin my vengeance hopes on Marcial/big daddy!!?
The captain is loose variable, he knows he is one pawn away from getting murdered, Diabla is planning burning down and rolling out with wealth to somewhere.
The subterfuge of covering up Diabla’s death is a mad but effective, cause everybody dying one by one???!! Daniel ‘s boss commits suicide and his wife is no match! Jota and his family has bad news coming and Vale has heartbreak too!!! The family is hiding out, but Cata is always making a wrong move for other people to pay the price!!

Silvana. novelera: Of course, the Cubs have a 108-yr.-old woman who has literally waited her whole lifetime for a Cubs world series victory. :)

Sin Senos

went to últimas semanas.

this is a pretty simple story, easy to follow, if anyone cares to jump in for the last weeks.

SIN SENOS - If this ends in a couple weeks, does the timing follow with the November "Martres"?
