Tres Veces Ana # 114 - And the bombshells just keep on coming!

Though we ended last on a potential Inaki resurrection scene, we start with our star crossed lovers this time. Ana Lu asks Marcelo why he decided to remove tattoo. He has a good response – though he would love to tell her it was done to conquer her, he actually removed this tattoo for himself. He then drops the bomb of Inaki being Ana Le’s lover.

And we are back to our: is Inaki or isn’t he alive storyline, and it looks like he has at least two lives indeed! Inaki is alive and kicking. Ana Le wants to know how he entered, with the police there. Well, our bloodied up, drenched in rain, recently shot, small-time-swindler-turned-killer, has a bit of news for her: Marcelo is not the only real man around here. She should have seen him climbing through the window in this rain with this gaping wound! Ana Le is duly impressed, but Inaki hasn’t finished his prepared speech yet. He was only afraid of losing her, even though she left him there all alone. She could have come back, but she didn’t. The fact that Facundo had a gun is a sorry excuse in his book of eternal love. The wounded lion then grabs her a little too feverishly and pulls her into a kiss, with the amount of energy that is casting some doubt on the tearful story of a hurt man making his way from the forest to the city, up the wall and through the window.

We interrupt this fascinating scene to get back to Llora, who is persistently making me wish I had a duct tape that reached across the TV screen to tape her mouth shut, and Ramiro. Llora was kind enough to invite him into the chapel in this rain to tell about St. Valentin, the only one who had the balls to tell her all the truth, unlike Ram, who keeps all the world secrets from her – Ana Lu, JFK assassination, whether or not Elvis is still alive. Now that she knows the breadth of this deceit, she will not even let him squeeze in a word – NOPE, not a word.

In another interesting development, Facundo brought Tin to his former hermit refuge place – a cabin …. in the woods? in Erni’s backyard? …it’s anybody’s guess. He wonders why it was that Ev recommended Tin so highly. Tin thinks it’s because, much like Ev, Tin is consumed by this thirst for vengeance. Well, Fac is not a man to look a gifted horse in the mouth twice, so he leaves Tin there with a man and a car to do his thing, with the only condition that Marcelo is untouched. Tin advises him to ensure himself that his offspring doesn’t interfere with Tin’s plans. (And we all are beginning to hear “Something wicked this way comes” in the background…)

Back at the chapel, unfortunately, Ramiro is still not throwing the towel in on Llora.(Ramiro, TVA is losing its viewing audience by the dozens every second they have to watch Llora. Quit now and save your nerves and ratings.) Despite the prohibition, he is trying to squeeze an explanation or two in, with very intermittent success. He wanted to be the one to tell her and explain he says. Well, he was late, says Llora. (At least here we agree with her.) Why did he play with their feelings? (We don’t know either, Llora. It’s one of those interesting TN mysteries: why would no one tell Ana Lu the truth for 100 episodes? Why will you just NOT stop whining? There may not be an answer for them, but thankfully there is a fast forward button.) Anywho, this was all the time Llora had allotted for someone else taking up the center of attention and conversation, so she doesn’t let him explain that he didn’t know Ana Lu was alive when he produced the bracelet. Llora has everything already worked out. She is the new and improved Ana Yo-BetterWatchOut and nobody should mess with her!

Ana Lu is putting a new bandage on Marcelo and still does not believe Inaki and Ana Le are lovers . Marcelo heard Inaki confess his love for Ana Le to Santiago.  Marcelo feels freed actually.  They talk about trust and whether Marcelo could be trusted. He points out he was the only one to speak truth to her, when everyone – including Santiago – was deceiving her. Even so, she cannot trust him. Ana Lu leaves to let Marcelo take a shower, and our shirtless galan has a mirror conversation with Santiago. Marcelo tells him he needs to protect Ana Lu and it’s now Marcelo’s turn to live Santiago’s life.

Worried we may not be able to get our nap in this pre-bed timeslot, writers return us to Llora and Ramiro. Same old, same old rehash and Llora concludes with a sweeping statement that she had enough, and everything is over between them. She never wants to see him again. (So let’s de-Llora this scene. Does your fiancé, love of your life, not deserve ten minutes to offer an explanation? Of course then we would be spared the lengthy scene of Llora’s tears when she realizes Ratmundo is dead, Ram had her best interests at heart and she blew it.)

While waiting for Llora and Ana Le in the family room, Mariano and his glass of whiskey are having a flashback to Tin’s fall that left him paralyzed. Tin is lying on the ground, covered in blood and saying he can’t feel his legs and Gina is screaming at Mariano: “What did you do?.” Mariano returns to the present when Ernestina asks him what he is thinking about. Finally, generator kicks in, and lights are back on and Llora enters without Ramiro and to everyone’s jokes on her prince charming’s whereabouts, shocks them by telling them to shove it and get on with the program (with a different sarcastic comment, though the same meaning.) Mariano wants some love from the angry girl – isn’t he her prince as well? Yes, says Llora, he is the only man who would never lie to her.  Mariano’s nose grows visibly longer.

Tin in the cabin is remembering Gina coming to him asking for help. Mariano hired people who will kill her. They now know that she was Tin’s lover and kept  his money. Tin takes another swig and remembers another scene of coming to Gina’s apartment. He told her it was all his fault – he went to see Mariano to try and stop the wedding. Gina knows. She laments that she thought it would be the happiest day of her life, but she lost everything. Tin says she will never lose him. Gina is so happy he still wants her and promises to make it up to him. Just as they are reconciling, there’s a knock on the door – it’s Mariano. Gina shoves Tin into a different room and opens the door. Marcelo and Mariano come in. Marcelo has a gun and they are here to dictate her suicide note. (So Tin was there after they left and during Gina’s murder scene then?)

Tadeo and Nerina are each worried about their kids in this rain.

Ana Le and Inaki are still in her room. She needs to go downstairs or else people will suspect. He asks to stay in her room and take a shower while he waits for her. Downstairs Erni is still explaining about the basement and thrown out memories. Llora is inconsolable – Ana Lu wants nothing to do with them. Not to worry, though she said so to everyone, they will find a way to bring her into the fold. Ana Le comes downstairs and asks if Llora knows the truth already. She does? Well why is she crying then – she must be the only one happy at this news? Llora, thinking they are talking about Ana Lu, says that she would have liked to be let in on the news along with everyone else. Ana Le cleverly says she doesn’t understand either why Abue hid for so long that Leonor is her sister. Llora looks like she is slowly blowing a fuse.

Javier comes to Sandro’s house to look for Julietta. Sandro says she doesn’t live there any more and advises Javier to stay away, as Julietta is only interested in money. He gives Javier her diary as the only relic that is left of her. Javier starts reading right away in the rain.

Meanwhile Viri is giving Julietta advice that it is better to be alone than in a bad company. She remembers her own experience with Mariano. Viridiana thinks she just lost time, but he lost a woman who really loved him. Julietta wishes she could have this view of the world. She tolerated Sandro for so long. Viridiana thinks they should call things as they are. Julietta tolerated this for money and would have tolerated more.  Viri asks about the rose, and Julietta tells her about Tadeo, a clown she loved. But, when the hunger enters through the door, the love leaves through the window – “Cuando el hambre entra por la puerta, el amor sale por la ventana”. (It’s an interesting proverb). Juietta wanted more and left him. Viridiana wonders if she is still in love with Tadeo.

Meanwhile Tadeo is in good company with Nerina, both still fretting over the fate of their children in the rain. (If Nerina only knew that other mothers should be worried about her son being out there in the rain…)  Tadeo decides this would be a good moment for a heart-to-heart. He thinks they both had a complicated life and will be alone at some point (our sweet Tadeo is clearly rusty on romantic declarations), so he wanted to confess something that he had in him for a while now – his love for Nerina.  Nerina is shocked by this confession and runs away.

At the AdC (Alvarez del Castillo) house Llora blows another fuse. This time she will not allow Leonor to tell her to calm down. Aunt Leonor, helpfully corrects Ana Le, making herself comfortable for the spectacle. Llora storms away surprisingly fast, and Mariano runs out to talk to her. (He actually had to run, this is how fast she managed to climb up the stairs.)

In Ana Le’s room Inaki remembers Orlando being stuffed in a trunk, but they forgot him down there and he stayed alive. He went to a crook doctor and, in exchange for a ring and a watch, had his clear exit wound patched. He then put the bloodied shirt back on and asked the crook to put the tie around his arm, as if it were a tourniquet. All to impress you, Ana Le, says Inaki in real time.

Tio tries to talk our warrior Llora down. No, she hasn’t listened to Ram, and won’t listen to Tio either. Tio tries to put a word in for Ram, but is shot down.

Back at the pension, dressed in Santi’s clothes, Marcelo finds Ana Lu outside. He wants to tell her his own story. He didn’t kill the way she thinks, and she knows real him very little. Ana Lu agrees to listen, because later she can tell this story to Santiago. Marcelo thinks Santi is lucky to have such a loyal woman with him. He tells a story of his childhood – he had a demanding father, who always wanted him to be the best. He went so far as to incite him to fight other children to prove he was stronger. If Marcelo didn’t win, there were consequences. When he was very young, he was put in the military college. He saw Facundo very little.
When he graduated he became a federal agent, and later opened his own investigative agency. He never stopped cooperating with police and at times, he did have tough decisions to make involving people’s lives, but there are many children and kidnapped folks who are alive thanks to him. A very touching vide of savings several girls from kidnappers is shown in the background to prove the point, as he is telling this story. All of this experience with kidnappers is why he was so hard on Sole when he met her – she was just another kidnapper to him. But she was a mother to me, says Ana Lu, and adds that now she sees why he is like this – she sees pain, guilt and loneliness in his eyes.

Back at the mansion, Tio tells Llora that Ana Lu will go on a trip with them, and Llora is welcome to come. Ana Lu will also come live with Mariano and Llora wants to do the same. Tio leaves her to pack and Llora tells herself not to cry. (We only hope….)
Back in Ana Le’s room Inaki is going through her things, presumable looking for the tape. And downstairs Erni tries to calm Leonor down. Ana Le has another helpful comment – it will be hard for everyone to accept the maid for an aunt. Erni brings the hammer down for calling Leonor a maid. Suddenly Mariano comes down with news of Llora’s new address, and Ana Le is super ticked off.

At the pension Ana Lu says that she understands how Ana Le fell in love with Marcelo now, knowing him better. Marcelo says that he never told this story to his wife. She was never interested and he never wanted to share. Ana Lu is surprised and thanks him for trusting her. Marcelo tells her to let Santi know he has nothing to be ashamed of, and that he, Marcelo, is jealous of Santi for having met his true love. You have one as well, says Ana Lu – my sister Ana Le, who loves you. Marcelo thinks Ana Lu is very noble for trying to defend Ana Le and adds that it was actually Ana Le who ordered to kill him and provoked his accident.

Can't wait Ria!

Yes, Inaki is alive but how did he get from the trunk of that car to the underground doctor? Was it Inaki or someone or Oily's body thrown in that trunk? I still don't get how Inaki could escape and go to the underground doctor to get the bullet out.

Well I for one have had it with Llora's temper tantrums. Now she is going to go live with Tio to the chagrin of Ana MeMe. Did you catch the look on her face?

I felt sorry for Marcelo with his story on how Fac just dropped him off at military school and left him there. What a horrible thing to do to a little boy. Makes me hate Fac even more.

Oilando's body ended up in that trunk. Inaki likely hid before the thugs got there. I'm wondering how he found an "underground" MD.

Being dumped in a military school at the age of 11 is nothing unusual if there is a single parent and especially if said parent is a father who thinks that such a place will toughen a boy up. Since I didn't get a good playback I need to re-watch this episode and check conversation details. I also wonder whether that school had other boys who were dumped there because they were at risk of becoming delinquent; this has been a fairly common practice in the US.

Ana Laura is having a tantrum because she has held so much back for so long. She may not realize how childish this looks because she is unconsciously doing what Ana MeMeME often does to get attention. She has gotten nowhere by being the nice girl who doesn't complain about even legitimate things. I don't like it either, but it's nothing unusual given the circumstances.

She does need to realize that her relationship with Ramiro means that she owes him the opportunity to explain himself. However, she won't like his explanation because it includes telling her what he knows about Ana MeMeME.

Ria, thank you! Cannot wait to read your recap.

There have been so many unexpected and surprising twists and turns here, I have been riveted to the screen.

However, I didn't want to watch another second of Ana Laura's stern faced rebuking of Ramiro. Did she not see his tears, that his heart was breaking?? I thought Ana Let was the worst of the trio, I'm starting to think that while indifference and selfishness don't equate to murder, she is so annoying at this point, I just don't want to see her. UA, I don't think it has even occurred to her that Ramiro might have something to say. Not that she has paused in her childish temper tantrum to allow him to do so.

So Inaki is alive. At least for the moment. He kept his wits about him and his survivor instinct kicked it.

I cannot wait to hear more about what Julieta said to Viri and what Juli's ex said to Javier.

Cynthia, I agree with your comments about Fac. I didn't think I could detest him more. And then...Ack.

Diana

Looking forward to it, Ria! I fast forwarded through Llora's scenes with Ramiro. I could see where that was going and couldn't bear to watch. I did love that she's moving in with Tio that very night, and how that affected AnaLet. Ha! Bet AnaLet wasn't expecting that result when she let loose the Llora Monster. And it's not like AnaLet can also go pack her bags, since she's got a gunshot victim hidden in her room at the moment.

Urban, so true about LLaura. Unfortunately if she were presented with the whole truth about her adorable sister, she would not begin to believe any of it.

Even after knowing LetMe had dressed as her and fooled Valentine she suspected nothing when the lost sister she met was far from what she expected. AnaLetMe is so different from LLaura's image of her that LLaura will be hesitant to believe anything she does not see with her own eyes.

Grama Erni is beginning to see a glimmer of the truth as evidenced by her reaction to AnaLet's indelicate announcement about Leonor last night. Maybe Tio too, but it is hard to tell. LLaura's decision to go live with Tio appeared to give our little incestuous murderess indigestion. LetMe tell you sister, that will be the least of your worries one of these days.

Cynthia, last night we saw the murder proceeds disposal team (MPDT) throw a bag into a car trunk, and then about the time we saw the backup lights on the car flash, indicating it was placed into gear, we saw a hand rise into view and clutch a small sapling. Obviously Inakinstein's hand. How they missed him is a mystery. They need more training.

Ria, looking forward to your recap.

Cynthia - Yes, it was Oily in the trunk. Inaki had somehow burrowed himself so Facundo's goons didn't see him. Facundo needs to hire better goons though because he ordered them to get two bodies.

Yay, Inaki is not Ana Leticia's apparition. So he went to a shady doc first then onto AnaLet. That adds up. Don't know how his shirt stayed so white, except for the bloody bullet entry and exit spots, but anyhoo -- ooooh, Inaki in nothing but a towel!

Will Lloro get her own juice at Mariano's. She's a pain, but this could be a good move for her. At least she talked to Ramiro long enough for him to know TinTin is the one who hooked her up with "Ana Lucia." Ram surely smells a rat.

They never settled whether David was Tadeo's or Julieta's husband. I guess since David was blond like Julieta's husband, he wasn't Tadeo's.

Ria - I am sure that you will do a wonderful job with this episodes of so many new developments.

AB outdid herself last night as AnaLe, the caged animal with both a "gunshot victim hidden in her room" (Vivi) and her father-in-law calling the tune and the nasty ever-jealous sister.

I was counting Inaki out but darned glad to see him again for real. It sure makes the story more interesting as we move swiftly to the finale.

Javier is such a sweet and handsome character. And now it turns out that Julieta is still thinking fondly about Tadeo, who has declared himself in love with Nerina. Lots left to resolve with this family, made more interesting with Inaki's reappearance.

Unclear to me what Valentin is up to with the move to Facundo's cabin. I have been thinking a kidnapping of either AnaLaura or AnaLu would happen before it's all said and done. Marcelo and Leonor know where the cabin is so I may be way off the mark in thinking that there is a connection here between Valentin in the cabin and an abduction.

Another good one.

I think Ramiro is far better off without Ana Laura now and maybe forever because it looks like Ana Laura is changing: she is finally growing up and establishing a place for herself in the family and beyond. For that reason, I was happy Ana Laura got angry and threw a "tantrum" because "Ernestina and crew" have kept her on the sidelines rather than telling her what is going on one more time. Although Ana Leticia told the "Leonor is our great aunt thing" out of spite, she did Ana Laura a favor. Whoopsie! I bet Ana Leticia would have never told had she known that Ana Laura would be going to live with "her beloved" tío Mariano. Getting out of that house should be great for Ana Laura.. Now, if she can use some of her new found independence on that creep Valentín. I cannot wait until she finds out she has never met the real Ana Lucía . . .

Niece: "Will Lloro get her own juice at Mariano's"? Great question and very funny!

Diana, Cynthia ITA about Facundo. In particular the military school scene was horrendous.

I wondered why he needed a bullet extracted when there was an obvious exit wound.

I have been lobbying for Ram / Bel ever since she swooned over him. He needs to tell LLaura that Bel wasn't kissing him, per se, she was just showing him she actually knows how.

And think about it Ramiro: If you ever DO have to get rid of her, it would be a lot harder for them to identify Bel than Peg. I mean that thing probably has a serial number and model cast into it.

We should not have a long wait for LLaura to meet the real one and begin to figure out she's been had big time by mean Sis, as she is leaving to go to Tio's as we speak. How long can they have these two in the same house and the deception not surface? I was screaming at SantiMark last night to "Tell her her sis is a murderer." And he finally did, I could not believe it.

toa

He didn't get the bullet extracted. He had his wound treated and dressed. The doc told him how lucky he was that the bullet went clean through.

If Valentin thinks he is hiding out, all one has to do is follow the Seagrams truck.

I don't know that Inaki realized there was an exit wound. I'm given to understand that the pain from a gunshot wound is somewhat delayed by the shock.

Ana Laura moving in with Mariano will do her good. He didn't even know about Leonor being Ernestina's sister until recently and telling Ana Laura that will help the situation. When she starts talking about her meeting with (the fake) Ana Lucia he should be fast on the uptake and ask when that happened. Once he realizes that it was simultaneous with him bringing the real Ana Lucia to the mansion he'll figure out that something is rotten in DF.

Very clever of the writers to write the drawing room dialogue to be vague enough to delay that reveal. But they better not do it again.

Traveling Lady, I had the same thought as you when Facundo took Valentin to the cabin.
I think he will kidnap AnaLaura-Just a feeling. But, to what end, I don't have a clue.

By the way, I haven't had a chance to comment, but Mon. and Tues.'s recaps were so entertaining. I can't believe how talented you ladies are!

Ernestina's statement that Leonor will take her place when she heads to the Great Beyond will probably also give Ana MeMeME agita. When she finds out about the will her head will explode.

Kidnapping Ana Laura would have a certain logic to it because she is the most physically vulnerable of the three girls. That would make Ramiro take action and end up a hero. Before he gets there she would see Valentin's true colors. He might even get drunk enough to spill the frijoles about Ana MeMeME having impersonated Ana Lucia. All this is likely to happen before she meets the real Ana Lucia. That she is leaving the guarded mansion for Mariano's place will make all this possible.

Whom I hope gives Marcelo the benefit of the doubt regarding what he just told her about her evil triplet sister.

And he still needs to wash that crap out of his hair.

To the earlier comment about Julieta and the color of Daniel's hair: Julieta could have been a blonde in her own youth; blonde hair usually gets darker as a child matures. By the time I was 16 mine had gotten dark enough to no longer be regarded as blonde, so I began my relationship with Clairol (broke up with it for L'Oreal about 10 years ago). The same could have happened to her. BTW, Julieta's soon-to-be-ex now has white hair; the actor is 70 years old. Net, net: Daniel could have been Tadeo's child. We may never find out unless there are medical test results on file from when Inaki was tested as a kidney donor.

The disclosure of his murder of Daniel will be devastating to both Tadeo and Julieta. Tadeo will have Nerina to go to but will Julieta have anyone? That may be her final anvil.

"follow the Seagrams truck" is a good one!

I am pretty sure that AnaLeticia knows about the will. She heard Ernestina talking to Leonor about changing the distribution to the triplets and including Leonor, her sister. Leonor then went out to tell Rodrigo that Ernestina was sick and AnaLeticia tried to kill her grandmother by pushing the nitroglycerine under the bed.

So she has the bad news but hearing that Leonor will be in charge reinforced the dilemma, a real problem inasmuch as she has several issues to cover at once (and several people on her list for elimination!)

I think Urban has a good plot summary for a kidnapping of Llora. Makes sense as a way that she will get the big picture and Ramiro can be the hero.

She only knows the generalities but not the details. I also just realized that with Ratmundo dead (Ernestina was going to have him do it) it hasn't been done yet. It could turn out worse than Ana MeMeME imagines now.

Avoiding arrest is going to be her #1 priority right now. She still has Isidro's money, so she logically should be on the run. However, that obsession with Mariano is going to be her final undoing.

I could have sworn that she heard Ernestina tell Leonor that she was going to outdo Mariano. Better than the 50/25/25 split for the girls but I may not remember when our little eavesdropper arrived at the doorway.

Why do novela characters never close their doors?

Whatever her next step I have no doubt that Mariano will be her undoing.

"I also just realized that with Ratmundo dead (Ernestina was going to have him do it) it hasn't been done yet".

thanks Urban - I forgot that. As Ana Let isn't aware the changes haven't been made, she is going to feel pressure to act. And quickly. Her henchie Inaki is of little value now - injured and needing to stay "invisible". The clock is ticking. So many murders to commit - so little time.

Diana

Does she know the details of Mariano's will? I don't recall him telling her.

I don't recall that she heard numbers from Mariano but thought that Ernestina specifically related to Leonor Mariano's proposed numerical split and that she would do better. Ernestina was intending to call Ratmundo the next day. This is why AnaLet tried to kill Ernestina. Failing at that she brought on enough of a crisis that Ernestina seems to have let the will change go and then the next day she met AnaLu. On to new crises for Ernestina.

I don't think that Ernestina knows that Ratmundo is gone.

In any case, AnaLe was sufficiently alarmed to try to kill Ernestina. Whether numbers or general threat moved her, she is unlikely to feel any better about it as Ernestina repeats her plan or gets closer to AnaLu. What AnaLeticia can actually do about it depends on so many other factors now.

Ria I know your recap is going to be great!

I watch these TN's as you hit the finale episodes and think, you know we could have shaved off 20 or so episodes and just built this all up better. The info on Santi's treatment by his father could have slid in when he was not warming to his dad. Fac as the mafia leader we wouldn't surmise, just reinforced the jerkwad we were seeing him to be.

Bowyer as AnaLoon was awesome last night. That woman went through every level of emotion last night and she could say volumes with just a look.

Llora was mind-numbing. I too get she has a lot of pent up emotions, but she's also not listening to anyone. I took away too her lack of listening was the perfect plot set up to get out of the house. Anyone think AnaLoon would even help make Tin's kidnapping of her sister happen. That look when she heard Llora was going to Mariano's was everything!

Again, sorry for the dancing on the patio last night over Inaki. I would sincerely like to thank the writers for having him suffer a shoulder wound so we could get the requisite shirt off scenes. Freeze frame that bathroom mirror scene. Maybe a new screensaver?

Oh hell no will Ghoul get her claws into Tadeo. Writers better not go there....nope nope nope.

Mariano's position in this tale is ramping and I foresee him getting hurt in all this. I agree, he's the key in AnaLoon coming to her anvil, and maybe seeing him hurt by her machinations will be the end of any semblance if sanity she has.

Mati, yes, Ana Let overheard Ernie's revised plan in which (I believe) she noted Ana Lu would get more than her sisters.

daisy, I will have to read Ria's recap to find out what was actually said but I thought Nerina was shocked with Tadeo's revelation. I think it came out of the blue (from her perspective) and her jumping up indicated she was more than flustered. I see a friendship, but am not too sure if Nerina will allow herself a romance...

In any event, I don't think Tadeo would ever take Julieta back. Or should he. But with the way things are going, I wouldn't bet on it. Julieta deserves nothing but I think Javier will forgive her and she will end up with his love. Which is far more than she deserves.

Diana

Can't wait for the recap!

Some of these short flashbacks are killing me. First, we saw previously that Mariano and Marcelo made Gina write the suicide note, which we saw in Tin Tin's flashback. But after that, Mariano tells her he knows she took the money and that she can have it and just leave, far away. Tin Tin should have heard that too as he had no place else to go to get away. He can't blame them for her death because they made their motives clear. And they would have left the scene so that Tin Tin could then retreat. Otherwise, Tin Tin would have been there when Gina was murdered.

I guess I'm liking the new Llora. I don't like how she won't listen to Ram. But she has been through a lot lately. She finds out Ram, Mariano and Ernie knew Lucia was still alive and hadn't told her. And then the big reveal, what she has been dreaming about for 20 years turns into a nightmare for her. Granted her expectations were probably through the roof. All of it is hitting her now and she is trying her best to be strong--a new thing for her.

I hope Ghoulieta's diary doesn't somehow redeem her. She doesn't deserve Tadeo or Javier.

I am still disappointed in Lucia. She has shown no interest in meeting Laura. I know AnaLet was a handful but her lack of curiosity about her true family still riles me up. I hope she moves in with Mariano and Laura.

I think Ernie and Mariano are seeing AnaLet more clearly now, probably because she is letting down her guard. The facade is breaking as she becomes more and more scared about her present situation.

Yeah!! Iñaki is still here. I thought the writers wouldn't write him off yet, thus the bullet to the shoulder and him falling off the cliff..

More later.

Recap is posted, guys!

Cynthia, laughed when I read you comment about Ana Le's look - so true! What will she think up now to come live at Mariano's? And when will they finally pay attention to everyone saying she needs help - in the last episode when she pushes someone else off the building?

Urban, so I wondered about Inaki's escape - weren't clean up thugs told to search for two bodies? Shouldn't they have worried they only found one? Maybe they are stereotypically not that bright...

Diana, double agreed - Llora is unbelievably selfish. This is supposedly a man she loved all her life and knows well. Even counting that she feels left out and overprotected, in-between your temper tantrum, you can spend 5 minutes to listen.

Vivi, too funny - I was thinking about fast forwarding Llora as I was watching and making notes. If only it wasn't a recap night...

Niecie, you made me laugh out loud with the juice comment. She may yet run back to Leonor crying...

Mati, yes, a lot of movement in Javier/Tadeo/Julietta storyline. I hope we don't have a Tadeo/Julietta reunion coming. He deserves better. Oh, and you made me worry about Ana Lu or even annoying Llora being kidnapped.

Jarifa, yes - a good development for Llora to go live with Mariano and maybe get to know Ana Lu too.

Toa, unfortunately, I am afraid Llora and Ana Lu will continue to talk around the truth for a while longer. We still have at least 10 episodes until truth has to surface. October 24th for finale they are saying.

Daisy, a very good point on Ana Le being in on Tin's plan. I am sure she will be only too happy to get rid of one (or both) of her sisters!

Carvivlie, I don't quite understand the Gina murder and Tin placing blame on Marcelo and Mariano yet either - they left, he stayed, Gina was murdered, he heard Mariano giving her money and ticket to leave. I guess we wait for another flashback.

Thank you , Ria.

Yesss. ..my big, sweet baboo telenovio lives..he lives !!!! Isn't it interesting that the hot hombres in telenovelas usually get shot in a place that requires shirt removal. Hey, I am not complaining. That manly form helps me forget all the annoying characters in this show..blabbetyblabblabbkab. Oof. Sun's out, Gun's out. INaki is bulletproof. #thankyou

The whole trio of sisters is getting increasingly annoying to me.

Analetmefigurethisout is on borrowed time , and I am fearful that she and Inaki will be smooshed by the same giant anvil.

Thanks Ria for the awesome recap!

urban...I had blonde hair as a baby , and it just kept getting darker as I grew up and ended up dark brunette by my teens. I have never colored my hair. Is LOrleal better than Clairol? I am clueless on this. Inquiring minds want to know in case I ever decide to color my hair.p.s. I am pretty lazy, so if it is not easy....forget it.

Argh!! I had an eye appointment... now they're dilated... I can't read anything. :-( I'll check in later.

Okay, I can read a little... with difficulty... enough to read Susanlynn's question. I think Clairol and L'Oreal are the same people. Their stuff is good and L'Oreal (Preference or Excellence) is what I usually use. (Excellence is supposed to be better if you have a lot of gray.) But if you want a serious red, go with Revlon. Reds tend to fade quickly to less impressive hue, and Revlon seems to stay vibrant longer.

I'll look at the recap later when I can see better!

I will admit that when I started to get a few gray hairs I tried to color my hair. I did it myself, what a mess, for about 9 months. I finally went to a salon because my hair was not looking good. She said it would take 2 visits to strip out what I had done and get my hair back to being healthy. If you have the money, have it done by a professional.

Thanks, Ria! Definitely worth the wait.

I too thought a kidnapping plot is brewing when we saw Valentin in the cabin in the woods. I had missed that Fac left one of his henchies to help him, so that answers my question of how Val would be able to pull it off.

I'm tired of the drip drip short flashbacks to the day Gina died and who all were in her apartment and when. First of all-- LONGEST day, EVER! How did she have so much time to boink her lover (Mariano), get dressed for her wedding dress, get ditched by her fiance (Ramiro), get dumped by her lover (Mariano), meet up with her accomplice (AnaLet) who encourages her to fake suicide, meet her lover (Mariano) for coffee to threaten him, run to her ex-lover (Val) for help and bring him home, get forced to write a suicide note by her lover (Mariano) and his buddy (Marcelo), get paid off to leave and then robbed (Marcelo's goon), get slapped around by her accomplice (AnaLet), and THEN get murdered (mystery person)?!

Vivi, first off, thanks for putting the whole day in order! I think I forgot about half the things that supposedly happened that day. Shoot, that girl got around!

Vivi..yes , GIna had a busy, busy day!

Julie and Carvivle...thanks for the info . Perhaps, I should just go with my hairdresser who said that she would color my hair for $50...since I am clueless...and lazy.

And Edmundo is one of the chief suspects for Mystery Murderer, in addition to Thieving Goon, but both of them are dead now, so who cares?!

Susanlynn, $50 isn't bad. I pay $68 before tip. I've always been bad with hair. Luckily mine doesn't take a lot of work.

Would Val knowing that Edmundo murdered Gina change his plans? I think he would still want to take it out on Ram, Mariano, Marcelo...everyone who ever knew her because he blames everyone else for his problems.

WOW, ole Gina Hena BoBena was a resourceful little gal. If she had focused all that energy into just one vocation, say, being a hooker, Marcelo and AnaLetMedothatforyou might be both working for her now. And only her hairdresser knew for sure....

Sensational Ria!!!

What an excellent summary - I savored and enjoyed every single word...

"small-time-swindler-turned-killer" and "Now that she knows the breadth of this deceit..." were among many favorites.

"Marcelo has a gun and they are here to dictate her suicide note. (So Tin was there after they left and during Gina’s murder scene then?)". I was very surprised by that. I was totally in the dark and must thank Vivi for summarizing Gina's very busy day so clearly. I know Gina (but lesser than the unknown killer) is relevant to the story, but she holds only a minor interest for me. Able to change loyalties and lovers with the ease with which you would change your clothes, I am reluctantly impressed. She flitted from man to man so effortlessly yet paid the price in the end.

I am more obsessed with the divine Inaki and suave Marcelo if truth were told. I keep wondering how long it will be before Lenor barges in to Ana Let's room with another useless glass of orange juice or such. Ana's stud muffin cannot hide out forever.

"Llora, who is persistently making me wish I had a duct tape that reached across the TV screen to tape her mouth shut" made me smile Ria. She got on my last nerve last night. I speculate though that she will be Valentin's intended victim and I don't' wish that on anyone.

I fear Tadeo will lose 2 sons (I always thought Daniel was his). No spoiler but I believe it's pretty clear Inaki won't survive. Perhaps he and Nerina will be able to comfort each other. She will certainly lose Valentin and let's face it, she never "had" her daughter. How very sad. I said earlier Julieta will have Javier. Not fair but if she is a comfort to him, then God bless.

Ria, this was a great treat. Thank you so much!

Diana

Thanks, Ria. Great job.

Can't stand Facundo, but kind of thoughtful that he pointed out to TinTin that his cabin didn't have the amenities for his condition. TinTin said no problem, he can deal. The writers keep hinting there might be more to TinTin than meets the eye.

Gina says "What did you do?" to Mariano when TinTin falls. I just can't see Tio setting up that accident. And we've seen a flashback where TinTin and Gina schemed to set up a fake accident, but it backfired and he got paralyzed for real.

I should FFW through Llora, but I used to be at her table and I can't manage to leave just yet. Hopefully, she'll finally look up her BFF Valeria and find out she's been released from jail, was the roomie of AnaLu's kidnapper, and consoled Ram over his dad killing himself.

Am I the only one that wonders if maybe TinTin killed Gina himself in a rage because, as Diana put it so well, Gina was "Able to change loyalties and lovers with the ease with which you would change your clothes." He could be in deep psychotic denial about it. And he does like blaming everyone else for stuff he had a hand in.

Maybe AnaLet will become all lovey-dovey with everyone, get them all to let their guards down, then visit Tio's house when both of her sisters are living there; kill AnaLucia, switch clothes with her and cry and scream that ANALET has had a horrible accident! She'll then haunt AnaLaura, making her feel guilty in some way so that she takes her own life. This will kill Ernestina and Leonor won't have the guts to assert herself to claim her rightful place as the head of the family. Poor Tio will feel so bad for his lone surviving niece that he will either move iin with her or move her in with him. Fake AnaLucia will be so "heartbroken" over the loss of her recently found family that she won't want to even hear the names Santiago, Marcelo, or Soledad ever again for the rest of her life. She just wants to live out the rest of her days all snuggled up in her Tio Querido's arms, with her eyes closed, counting ALL THE MONEY she has inherited, with more (Tio's) still to come. Of course, she will have to continue to live as AnaLucia, but what a trade-off! Cha-ching!!

Ria, thanks for the very entertaining recap!

Anon: AnaLet can't be stopped by anybody & the good guys are so incompetent, it's not even funny!

You're right about her manipulating everyone to let their guards down, then that's when she strikes!

Steve: I say just kill them all and let God sort it out.

:-)

Thanks so much, Ria!

I'm glad Iñaki is alive. I wonder how he made it to an "underground" doctor. He would've had to walk to wherever that doctor was located. But at least he had something to pay the doctor off. I was surprised that Javier was trying to find Julieta. I think he should take Sandro's advice though.

I'm patiently waiting for someone, anyone to give Ramiro the opportunity to tell them that his dad died. Ana Laura was always assuming that he'd say some lie about something he hasn't told her yet related to Ana Lucia or whatever. She needs to learn to shut up and listen to what he has to say. Although he's not the only one that she feels is hiding something from her. Now thanks to Ana Leticia she knows that Ernestina and Leonor are sisters. But just wait until AnaLau and AnaLet find out that there's a third sister and that that woman is AnaLu's kidnapper.

I agree with you Niecie that I think it could be possible that Valentin killed Gina. He definitely has a temper. She obviously tried to get something from him after Ramiro cancelled the wedding. But I'm sure Valentin was extremely hurt that she left him when he needed her the most.

Poor old Ramiro, he should have just talked over AnaWontShutUp and blurted it out, but he is not the worlds best communicator to begin with. It takes him half an episode to tell somebody where the bath is in a two bed apt.

And what's up with these people and Farceboink and Twizzler? Any other show everybody knows everything everybody in town has done because it is on social media.

"Oh Gladys, did you see Howard had a bowel movement?"
"Yeah Mary posted it late last night. I'm glad everything is back to normal for them now."

Aaarrrrgh

I use Superior Preference by L'Oreal. The reason for this was because Clairol changed the shade I was using and I wasn't getting the result I wanted. I tried their Hydrience line because it had a great color but it isn't good for resistant grey.

This stuff is very easy; you just mix the two bottles in the applicator bottle and apply. You might need two packages to do it the first time if you're completely changing color but afterwards with root touch-ups I can use half the package. There is no more stripping and recoloring like in the old days. No reason you can't do it yourself and save big $$$.

Somebody here obviously is hoping that evil wins the day. We see too much of that in the real world.

Thanks, Ria. I'm with you on the duct tape for Llora. Llora gets to make her whole big speech to Ramiro, but he doesn't get to say anything.

Interesting, Mariano's flashback to Tin's accident. Mariano looked genuinely distraught.

My favorite moment was when AnaLet found out that she'd be the only triplet not living with Mariano. Hah!

Anything else I could say at this point has already been said... and I'm not going to hazard a guess on the things we don't know yet. Too many possibilities are open.

Wonderful comments thanks. I just have to ask a question. Early on during a chapter where Gina was about to marry Ramiro, Analetmeme was with her in a vicious scene where Gina was being manhandled by Ana Wasnt she forcing her to take all those sleeping pills? Could it be that she also killed her for finding out that she was her Tio's lover as well? I was under the impression that she also killed Gina.

Anon 826, we saw in a later scene that most of those pills ended up the floor. AnaLet woke up on the floor of Gina's living room (we don't know how she ended up there and neither does she), and she found Gina dead in the bathtub. Marcelo's man, Martinez was there. Martinez seemed sure that AnaLet had committed the murder, while AnaLet seemed equally sure that Martinez had done it.

If indeed Valentin had been hiding in Gina's place the whole time, then it seems plausible that he could have knocked AnaLet out. It is also possible that he's the one who killed Gina. If Edmundo or someone else killed her instead, after Tin left but before Martinez showed up, then that apartment must have been a comically busy place that night.

Thank you for your recap Ria, I finally got a chance to read it. I sneak a lot of peeks at work but didn't have time to read it till this evening. Great job, as usual.

One thing I was thinking about was if Valentin actually went bonkers and murdered Gina. He was in that other room hiding out while Marcelo and Mariano came in. Perhaps he was so angry to find out that Gina was also sleeping with Mariano that he just lost it and was able to murder her from his wheelchair. Who knows, but I think it's a plausible idea, after all this is telanovela land. :)

Me too, just now catching up to reading the rest of this. I really am now starting to wonder if Tin is faking being in the wheelchair, not b/c I find it plausible but b/c the writers have become overreaching with some of the plot and might just be daring enough to give us a reveal like that. Besides, with Edmundo being dead we're still left w/o someone to pay for the mystery-hotel murder. I'm thinking we'll find out for sure tonight. More likely than anything, we'll discover that Valentin was still in Gina's depa and was able to run into Martinez (who "outed" Ana Let as Gina's killer).
