Enamorándome de Ramón, Capítulo 27; Friday September 15, 2017; Antonio warns Juana about Julio

We begin where we left off yesterday in episode 26, with Roxana and Antonio at the place that looks like McDonald’s with Diego. Antonio tries to have a talk with Diego about his behavior. He asks why he decided to hit the other child and Diego says it was because the other child took his crayons. But Diego does not want to pay much attention to his father and acts like he’s being bothered. He wants to go play. As soon as he goes to the play area, Roxana and Antonio start arguing again, making accusations toward each other and blaming each other for Diego’s behavior and problems. “You’re not going to take my son away from me!” “No, you aren’t going to take my son out of the country”… “Over my dead body!”…and on and on. Roxana gets up to use the ladies room, but leaves her cell phone at the table. It rings and Antonio answers it. On the other end, it’s Agustín who is calling to talk to Roxana. Antonio tells him, “Sorry, Roxana is not available right now. We have taken OUR son out for hamburgers. I’ll tell her you called, don’t worry.” Roxana comes back and wants to know why Antonio is laughing. But then his phone rings and it’s some business that Antonio is putting off for the following day. Roxana then says, “If you have to go, then just leave!” Antonio looks at her and says, “Oh no, not for anything! So tell me about Miami….”

Osvaldo retrieves “his” car with the keys he got from home and drives to Susana’s house to pick her up. They decide to take a ride somewhere, but while en route, they are pulled over by the police who come around and stop them. The cops arrest and handcuff both of them and escort them to the police car. Osvaldo tries to explain that it is his car, but the cops tell him that he stole the car and it was just reported stolen.

Don Pedro arrives at Luisa’s house to let Juana know that he just got back from court regarding the life insurance policy. He lets her know that she needs to first open a bank account so that the money can be deposited. She calls Julio to let him know, but can’t get him at first, so she calls his office and speaks to his secretary and leaves him a message. Julio gets there and he calls Juana back right away. She says she needs help opening a bank account and he makes arrangements to run over there to “help” her out.

Dalia is at the office, it’s getting to be closing time, so she calls her mother and asks if she can pick up some churros to have with dinner. However Luisa tells her that she is sorry, that Virginia is not well this evening and needs to stay with her. Dalia is a little disappointed but here comes Rulo to brighten her evening. He first invites her out to have tacos and she turns him down. Then he offers to take her someplace with music and billiard playing and she says yes! He can’t believe how this is his lucky day!

After work, Ramón tells Fabi that in one more week, she can take the car and drive it home herself. However, Fabi coquettishly tells Ramón that she was thinking about hiring her own personal chauffer and asks if he would like the job. Ramón says, “But I am very expensive, can you afford me?” “So how much do you charge”, says Fabi. Ramon answers, “For the morning, two kisses. Another two kisses in the afternoon. But for the evening, 200 kisses.” Fabi gasps and says, “Well then, it’s a deal!” She kisses him goodbye and she leaves in a taxi. After Fabi leaves, Dalia comes out with Rulo. Ramón asks Dalia, “Shall we leave to go home?” But Dalia says, “No, I’m going out with Rulo.” Ramón looks a little puzzled at the idea. “So where are you going?” says Ramón. Rulo just says something like, “Oh here and there.” Dalia smiles at Ramón and says, “See ya later!” Then Poncho comes out and Ramón wants to know what is going on. Co-worker says, “I don’t know. I thought I had a good thing going with Dalia today, but I guess not.” Ramón tells him that’s the way it goes sometimes.

Julio arrives to see Juana at Luisa’s place and he invites her to dinner. She feels embarrassed because it just seems strange to her. However Julio says he has dinner with his clients all the time, so it shouldn’t be any different with her. He convinces her to go and so they leave.

Rulo and Dalia arrive at the pool hall amidst a bunch of wolf whistles for Dalia. Rulo waves them off and says, “Stop it, she’s with me!” Everyone starts laughing. Dalia doesn’t know how to play pool either, so Rulo is going to teach her.

Julio and Juana are at dinner and Julio says that one she receives the money he is going to ask him mother about letting her go back to live with Fabi and Andrea. Juana doesn’t think that will ever happen and isn’t going to have any illusions about Horrortensia changing her mind. Then Antonio arrives and says, “Good evening!” Juana greets him looking very surprised. Julio says, “What a surprise to run into you over here.” But Antonio says, “No, it’s a surprise to see you two together!” Antonio isn’t too pleased to see this because he does not like Julio and is (rightfully) suspicious of his motives. He tells Julio, “Now that she is going to collect this money, now you are really interested in her! I don’t believe that you have that much in common with her that you would invite her to have dinner.” Juana is very embarrassed by this outburst and tells Julio it was a mistake to do this. Antonio tries to tell Juana that she needs to be careful with Julio, but she does not believe him. “You think I’m so dumb that I’m going to let anyone deceive me?” The manager comes out and asks them all to leave because they are causing a scene. Juana and Julio leave. Then the manager says to Antonio that he needs to leave as well or he is going to call security.

The police arrive at the station with Osvaldo and Susana handcuffed like common criminals. Susana is crying and said she did nothing wrong. Osvaldo tells her to stop her drama and that his father will soon straighten this out. But Susan keeps crying and says she has never been detained by police before in her life. A female officer takes Susana to her jail cell and locks her up. “Please don’t lock me up, I didn’t do anything wrong. The car belongs to my boyfriend.” says Susana. “Don’t be stupid”, says the female officer. “When you stop defending your boyfriend, you’ll be set free if you tell us what we need to know. Who is your gang leader?” Susana says, “We do not belong to a gang. The car belongs to my boyfriend. It was reported stolen last week and he found it today.” But the female officer tells her, “Oh who is going to believe that cock ‘in bull story? They caught you with your hands in the masa!” Susana goes on. “Look, we didn’t steal anything. The car was parked on the street and my boyfriend took it using the keys he had at home.” “Fine” the officer says. “You can tell that story when it is time to give your statement. Until then, you’ll have to stay in this jail cell.” Then Susan says, “I really want to make a phone call to my mother.” “Fine” says the officer. “You do have the right to a phone call. I’ll let my supervisor know and I’ll be back for you.”

Julio and Juana talk in the car and Julio asks her how she feels. Of course says she feels bad and says that what Antonio says is right. She knows what her place is. He slyly moves his hand over to hers by she withdraws it. “Why would anyone like you really notice someone like me?” “And why not?” says Julio. Juana just looks at him seemingly astonished at his response. She then says, “You are a married man and that is sacred. This cannot be.”

Emilia is at the casino when her phone rings and it’s Susana letting her know that she’s been arrested and in jail. She thinks Osvaldo was an idiot for just getting his car instead of calling the police about his alleged stolen car. Emilia gathers her things and leaves immediately for the police station. In the hallway at the police station, Osvaldo is escorted past Susana and Susana tells him her mother is on her way to resolve things. But Osvaldo tells her, “I don’t know why you called her. My father will be here soon and he will take care of the whole thing.” The officers tell them they are not supposed to speak to each other and to move on.

Osvaldo tries to call Julio, but Julio isn’t answering. Apparently he thinks it is more important to spend time with Juana explaining himself. He’s obviously coming on to her and tells her that there are different kinds of love with boundaries. Juana looks unsure and thanks him for explaining himself. Then he cunningly asks her if he can at least come in for some coffee.

Luisa is still at Julio and Virginia’s place and announces she is leaving for the evening. Jorge, who is sitting at the dining table with Andrea, asks her where she is going looking so nice. Luisa just says, “Oh just here and there.” “Enjoy yourself”, says Jorge. Then Jorge’s phone rings and it is Osvaldo calling. He want to know where their father is. He explains he’s in jail and wants their dad to come and show the police report so that they can get out of jail.

Antonio goes home and is on the phone outside apologizing to his friend about why he had to leave. He runs into Margarita outside the apartment house they live in and complains to her about seeing Julio out to dinner with Juana. He lets her know that he thinks that Julio is only after Juana for the money she is collecting from the life insurance. But this makes Margarita angry and she goes into “How dare you” mode because Julio would NEVER do a thing like that! She also tells him that if he has problems with Roxana, he doesn’t have to be blaming the world. “Antonio, why don’t we just leave it all right here. I’m out of here now!” She turns and angrily walks away.

Jorge keeps trying to get a hold of his dad and decides he will go down to the police station himself to explain things. He tells Andrea that he will go alone and he will let her know what happens.

Inside of Luisa’s place, Julio explains to Juana how she should open an investment account for the money because a regular bank account pays very low interest. “You can count on me for anything. I am here to support you in whatever you need” says Julio. He even offers to open the account for her. Just then Ramón arrives back home and wants to know why Julio is doing there. She starts to tell him the story of what happened that night. Ramón explains that Antonio is a good man because he went to bat for him to keep his job and defended him against Horrortensia. She asks where Dalia is and Ramón tells her she went with Rulo.

At Fabi and Andrea’s place, Margarita arrives. At first she isn’t hungry and tells them about her argument with Antonio. But then she gets hungry.

The new owner of Osvaldo’s car arrives at the police station with his daughter and Sara, who happens to be his niece. About the same time, Emilia arrives. Neither of them realizes this is the same case. Jorge arrives at the police station too and he meets Susan’s mother. The detective explains to the group that a young man and girl were arrested. Then Emilia asks for the names of those arrested and finds out that Osvaldo and Susana are accused of stealing this car. Jorge says that Osvaldo’s car was stolen. But then Sarah’s uncle says he bought this car at a car lot and has the ownership documents to prove it. Jorge is shocked and says, “No, that couldn’t be.” But Emilia knows better and says, “That’s because your father sold the car. There is no other explanation.” Emilia asks Sara’s uncle to withdraw his complaint because her daughter and Osvaldo really are victims in all this. Sara too, says, “Please uncle, I know him, he’s a nice guy, neither of them are delinquents.”

He withdraws his complaint and Susana and Osvaldo are released. Jorge explained that Emilia was the one who resolved everything and that their dad didn’t show up. After Emilia and Susana leave, Jorge gives him the bad news that the car wasn’t stolen, it was sold by their dad.

Osvaldo and Jorge arrive home and they are angry with their father because now they know the truth. Osvaldo yells at Julio saying he’s just all for himself and a liar. Julio has been caught in his own big lie. Osvaldo explains how he was thrown in jail over all this and calls his father a thief. “Is this true” says Virginia. “Of course it’s true Mom, look he doesn’t even say anything” said Osvaldo. As Osvaldo demands the truth from Julio, Virginia starts to become ill and Jorge goes to attend to her. She come back and says, “Now just tell us the truth!” So then Julio admits that he sold the car because he needed the money. He calls Julio a fraud. Virginia wants to know why Julio never said they were having financial problems. As he boys leave the room she asks if he’s back to gambling again, but he denies it.

Osvaldo packs his bags to leave the house because he can’t stand how he was lied to by his father. He says goodbye to his mother and Jorge. Then Julio looks at Jorge and says, “Are you too going to judge me?” But Jorge says, “No Dad, everyone has to live with their own conscience.” Virginia cries about the family falling apart.

Dalia is getting drunk at the pool hall with Rulo. He’s coming on to her “helping” her with her pool shots and exclaims how he likes her nice firm butt. Rulo soon asks Dalia if she would like to leave so he takes her to his place.

Later that night, Ramón and Fabi are texting to each other about kissing. She sends him a selfie of herself puckered up. He tells her how he would love to have her there all night to kiss her. They say goodnight and Ramón says he will dream about her. Juana knocks on his door and says that Dalia has not returned and she’s worried. She wants him to look for her. He says he doesn’t know where she and Rulo went to so he calls his co-worker, Poncho. He lets Ramón know that it was the pool hall they frequent. So Ramón goes off to find her. He arrives and asks about her and one of the guys says that she went back with Rulo. So he calls his friend Poncho and asks where Rulo lives.

Dalia drunkenly falls into Rulo’s bed and asks if he has anything to eat. He runs down the short list and she picks beer. She starts to nod off but she’s dreaming about Ramón. Meanwhile Rulo starts to caress her thinking he’s gotten lucky tonight. In her dream she tells “Ramón” that she loves him.” But Rulo hears her sleep talking and thinks she has said “I love you” to him. The last thing he hears her say, “Make me yours!” Looks like Rulo is going to go for it.

Die-No-Might Hampton ! What an episode. I really appreciate your transcriptions of all the yelling and screeching. I do alright with normal dialog, but the hundred miles an hour back and forth screaming just gets ahead of me and then I just can not decipher it even with my secret decoder ring. Thank You Thank You

There were so many clever titles available for this one:

If RGV were doing this recap I would have expected “The Chick-ens Come Home To Roost”
“Julio Gets Yelled At, and Gets Yelled At.” would have been good too.
And Maybe “Juana starts her IQ Test and the prelims do not look good”
Or “The Hungry Snake Bares His Fangs'

You know, we NEVER want to see rapes, but with DaliSkank it is almost a
'So help me I'll rape you”
“So rape me I'll help You”
She set all this up. This was her little scheme beginning to end.

Sometimes you just fall into your own trap. I was watching the cooties crawling off Ruly onto DaliSkank. Serves her right. I am sure RaMoon will burst in and save the day and make a lifelong 'FRIEND' of Ruly. Have we seen Rambo punch anybody yet? Maybe time, ya think? After her rescue Rambo needs to sit Skankiegirl down and explain to her that although she is pretty, she is just too dam dumb to be his Novia.

Virgi is another one dumber than a box of rocks. Asking Julio if he is gambling again. That's like looking at the STOP sign and asking if it is still red.

And you know what? If the other kid took Diego's crayons, good for Diegolito, beat his ass. Nip that behavior in the bud early and that crayon stealer might think twice about pulling that stunt again. Word will get around not to bully Diego. Life will be good, in spite of the psycho adults trying to ruin it for him.

I am surprised how level headed, good Mother, smart, Juana has morphed to a bibbling idiot when it comes to Julio. People who she has known for-EVER have warned her about Julio. His own relatives do not trust him, with ample reason, and ONE-A's own son warns her and she still invites him in for coffee? And he runs like the jackal he is as soon as Ramon shows up? Come on, ONE-A. Are we to believe that she is so starved for luuuurve that she cannot resist Julio? That's a stretch. (except for Susy) Just plain old fashioned dumb? Maybe just a dumbass servant who is too stoooopid to even open a checking or saving account? Then how does she figure out how to assemble a complicated assed taco? This sure sends a bogus message about women and especially about women who actually W O R K for a living. Maybe I am just starved myself for some ass beating and shooting.

Wake up patio. Happy Saturday and thank you again Cynthia

Good morning! Been awake for awhile but animalitos were hungry and a baby is being bottle fed...arghhh! I only bits if the episode and haven't read the recap, but what I saw was good! Another title..."The Chick Gets Her Roost" or if the deed happens..."The Chick Gets Laid!" I'm not all happy about DaliSkank's anvil but like Kirby said, she made her own bed...pretty much literally.

Kirby, VirGotShitForBrains is stooopid and completely delusional. I feel for her only when it comes to Benito, other than that, she can stick her head in the sand and suffocate.

More laters when I read the recap...

Thank you, Cynthia. Great recap, great screenshots. Work of art.

Kirby, I little harsh but I agree.

There is no question Julio is with Juana because of a big sum of money. He will even confirm it himself. The only question is whether he is doing it for the long term benefit of his nieces or for his own benefit. And his insistence, brown-nosing, even hitting-on is certainly not an indication of the long term benefit of the nieces.

Lucio. Yeah, I'm not the most gentle with dummies. Thankfully it is just a show.

Another point about Julio and Juana: If she still even TALKS to him about her and the girl's money after it comes to light that he stole his own SON's car, Juana is too dumb to manage even a Taco stand.

And she has to hear about it, as evidenced by the spread of news about the MIA Tape. Jorge tells CuteMute, CM tells Juana. Simple. Or to make it TN complicated, Jorge tells Andrea, Andrea tells Fabi, between kisses Fabi tells Ramon, Ramon tells Juana. Homeland Security does not have a more foolproof communication route.

Thank you , Cynthia. You recapped that like a boss !I was at a Boz Skaggs concert last night, so I missed the yelling ...except from the audience. Thank you, Boz. I always love screencaps. our Carlos used to give his dine cheeky captions.

Kirby, from now on , I am going to call anyone who does me wrong a "crayon stealer." Thank you.

Okay, more later after I get coffee and a bowl of Hopeos.

Sorry for the double bubble...sleepy...no coffee yet. And where did that "K" come from?

Kirby..Guys who look like Julio (mi Marcelo) get away with all kinds of awful behavior in real life. I love Marcelo when he plays a good guy, but in reality, I would be running as fast as I could in the other direction. He usually plays a good guy, but in one telenovela he was in a few years ago , he played what I referred to as "a tialoving abuelokiller " because ..well he was having an affair with his auntie and also killed the leading lady's. grandpa. #timetomakethecoffee

Exceptional screen shots Cynthia.

This was laden with great lines, where to start? Anyone who missed this need only read your summary as you convey the events and emotions flawlessly.

"Roxana then says, “If you have to go, then just leave!” Antonio looks at her and says, “Oh no, not for anything! So tell me about Miami….” Roxana was shady. No doubt. But there is something about Antonio...

Ahhh, how about "Now that she is going to collect this money, now you are really interested in her! I don’t believe that you have that much in common with her that you would invite her to have dinner.” Ouch. Talk about condescending. Rude, hurtful and completely uncalled for. What about simply saying it might not have been appropriate under the circumstances? The hint of Julio's "superior" station was troublesome.

Juana also seems to feel a class difference. “Why would anyone like you really notice someone like me?”. I don't know. You're kind, loving, an excellent mother and you are beloved by all (except Hort who doesn't count).

"tells her that there are different kinds of love with boundaries". I have to admit that was smooth.

I think Juana is lonely (do we know anything about Ramon's father?). She is falling for Julio because he is handsome and turning on the charm. Falling for the wrong person for the wrong reasons is something men and women have been doing since time began.

My take on Dalia is that she only went out with Rulo to get Ramon jealous. I can't say whether she thought things out or not or if she got so drunk intentionally. Rulo's no saint but I don't think (or hope) that he would have moved quite so fast if she hadn't murmured her love words, meant for Ramon. I think Ramon will arrive to save the day.

Lucio, I don't think Fab and Andrea's well being are even a thought in Julio's head. It's all about and for him.

Kirby, I agree with you in being glad Diego stood up for himself. Does pleading and crying ever work?? Giving bullies a taste of their own medicine is sometimes necessary.

RgvChick, so your "bottle baby" is doing well? You take such good care of your animals.

Cynthia, this was exceptional. Thank you!

Diana

Diana..I have to tell you that reading one of your comments always assures me that there are still good, kind people in this world. Thank you !!

It's a Beautiful Morning:

The sun is shining, and power is restored to many of us here in BlowLand, and life is returning to normalcy.
After running a few minor errands and arriving back home and wiggling the mouse,
I see the clever patio is awake and as sharp as ever.

Having shirked the normal endeavors of responsible adults everywhere on a Saturday morning we are instead dissecting the every thought and move of our (Mostly Rotten) fictitious characters.

It is like coming downstairs on Christmas Morning.

Diana, "I don't think Fab and Andrea's well being are even a thought in Julio's head. It's all about and for him" - agree. We, viewers, have seen enough of Julio to know. I was considering Juana's point of view.

Kirby, "If she still even TALKS to him about her and the girl's money after it comes to light that he stole his own SON's car, Juana is too dumb to manage even a Taco stand" - exactly. If I were Jorge, I would be hiding my lunch money from him.

Yes, Kirby!!..exactly so !!! and a very , Merry Christmas to you, too. ,#where'smystocking #getmeaneggandaneggnog #hohoho #sleighbellsring

Glad that your electricity has been restored.

Sunny, humid day here.

Chickie. Did you name the triplets yet? New suggestion..San, Fran, and Cisco.

"Having shirked the normal endeavors of responsible adults everywhere on a Saturday morning we are instead dissecting the every thought and move of our (Mostly Rotten) fictitious characters".

Smiling away Kirby. And, I can't think of a better way to spend our time.

Susanlynn. Amiga, we've been doing this quite a long time, haven't we? I rejoice in your wit, empathy and sympathy for those in real life and our beloved and not so beloved fictional characters.

Lucio, I think Juana seems to want to believe the best of everyone. I have no doubt that she would forgive Hortensia in a NY minute if given the chance.

I am speculating (only) there might be health crises looming for both Hortensia and possibly Virginia. Could some of Hort's stinging nastiness be tempered by illness? Umm, possibly. Will Julio undergo some kind of spiritual metamorphosis? That would need to occur to allow he and Juana get together. Now that we know about Betito, I don't think divorce would be an option.

RgvChick, hope all your animalitos are well.

Diana

Well, I read the recap and watched what I missed last night....my, my, my...JuanNotSoSmart was disappointing. I completely understand why she was upset with Antonio after he pounced on her, then Julio, but my goodness, she herself has questioned Julio's intentions previously. AND did the writer's forget that Don Pedro took Juana to open a bank account when they first thought she would get the money? They never actually showed it, but they made plans to go and it was never addressed again, so we just assumed it happened off screen. BTW, seems like Antonio's advice to Diego (to not resolve problems with blows) flew out the door really quick.

Diana, "Juana also seems to feel a class difference." Yes, she most definitely does. Unfortunately, in Mexico, class equality is no where near what it is in the States. Some may feel those times are changing (in Mexico) and they may be, but at a turtle's pace, IMHO.

I would think that when someone dislikes a person as much as Dalia dislikes Rulo, she'd show some annoyance at being with him, but it sure looked like she was having fun even before she got drunk as a skunk. Yeah, Ramon will probably come to the rescue and she will want to "repay" his kindness one hundred fold.

Yes, Juana should not trust Julio. .and let's also remember another reason she should keep away from him. .HE's a MARRIED MAN!!!

Susy, "she should keep away from him. .HE's a MARRIED MAN!!!" Most definitely, and she said it herself too, so, knowing that and having the "values" she has, why would she accept going out to eat with him, why not get off the car as soon as he took her home and why allow him to be in the house alone with her??? Yes, he is a handsome man, but, seriously, she should be able to easily figure out what he's really after.

Chickie..yeah, it is a subject that gets my hackles up a bit...
Women going after men they know are married. Then, we have Marg with a separated man (Ant). #lotsoffishinthesea #findafreeonethisoneistaken

OK, I had to laugh out loud at "Ramon will probably come to the rescue and she will want to "repay" his kindness one hundred fold". Yes, Rgv Chick, I'm SURE that will be the case! :0

Susanlynn, I know the credits are often misleading and sometimes show things that never come to pass. However, that Julio and Juana kiss looked pretty real to me (and pretty hawt). I'm basing my feeling that they will be together strictly on that (logic aside). I don't ever see Virginia letting him go (divorce) which is why I'm focusing on her health issues. Juana should have spoken to Julio in his office. And of course you're right. He is a snake. And a married snake. It was obvio that Ramon was not happy to see him there. His suspicions are well founded.

Thank you for the insight on the current class equality in Mexico RgvChick. It's so sad that classism exists in this day and age. Among other ills and prejudices.

Diana

"#findafreeonethisoneistaken".

Hear, hear.

Diana

Maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't see Antonio's outburst at Julio and Juana to be classist at all. It came across that way to her, because she is hypersensitive to those things. Look at her reaction to Ramon and Fabiola. I felt Antonio was being sarcastic to Julio, like, "Since when are YOU so interested in women like Juana, all of a sudden you find something in common with her? Yeah, right!" It just came out totally wrong and he hurt her feelings unintentionally. Not to mention that JULIO had already predisposed her to the "type" of person Antonio is.

Anon 2:27, I didn't see Antonio's outburst at Julio classist either, but it's the way Juana reacted that makes it seem that way. She is a very humble person who has been led to believe by Julio that Antonio is "bad." Your statement, "It just came out totally wrong " is very true. Antonio was attacking Julio and inadvertently insulted Juana.

I do hopeo Juana at least listens to Ramon, but it didn't seem like she considered his opinion of Antonio...she is set on thinking he is against her. I also hopeo she consults with someone like Don Pedro to help her with her decisions, maybe even having him co-sign any financial transactions...I think Julio would be very cautious about misspending the money...if Juana does indeed agree to have him "invest" the money.

Thanks Cynthia!!

Rulo knows Dalia is drunk and practically catatonic on his bed. I don't care why she went out with him or if she intentionally drank to excess to forget her problems, if she can't take her own clothes off then Ruli shouldn't be. Sexual assault, plain and simple.

Antonio was totally out of line. He may suspect something bad of Julio but he has no proof. Antonio is a good guy and I'm sure he didn't mean to offend Juana but oh boy did he! He has some apologizing to do to Juana.

I still don't understand how a woman like Juana has never
opened up a bank account? Has she never saved a penny in the bank? Putting that aside, she's a grown woman. Go to bank and figure it out!

Also, why disadvantages Luisa for advice on Julio? She's worked for the family for years and must know about his former gambling problem.

*why hasn't Juana asked Luisa for advice on Julio?

Thanks everyone for all your very warm compliments. I always have fun writing these recaps and picking out screenshots.

One thing that made me uncomfortable was the scenes of Dalia and Rulo. I hope this does not turn into a date rape because he takes advantage of her drunken state. This kind of thing really bothers me. I hope she wakes up and realizes what is going on enough to fend him off.

Julio does not even look the least bit repentant over selling Osvaldo's car and lying about the whole thing.

Yes, I agree, why doesn't Juana ask Luisa about Julio? I'm sure Luisa can give her the low down and all the dirt on him. If Luisa knows about his gambling problem, then Juana should be told about that. I think that Juana is very lonely and that will be her biggest problem. Julio is definitely being a predator.

Cynthia..Sometimes people do not ask the question because they do not want to hear the answer.

"don't want to know the answer." Hmmmm is our sweet little Wanna? going to turn into a man stealer? It's going around it seems. The previews show her being pretty naughty.

MQB
Minks Querer Bunnyhopping

Ok Kirby, you got me stumped...Minks??

Google 'shag like a mink'. Austin Powers, I believe.

Good Morning, Patioooo! I was feeding my animalitos when a small shower passed by...I sang to the Lord, but I think I scared it away LOL

Kirby, I looked up the phrase...my context clues were on target....especially when the comment was from you :-D Keep us laughing, Kirbo!

Diana, I was rereading the comments and I never answered your question about my bottle baby...sorry! Reggie (short for reject) is doing fine...growing and requiring more milk. He now follows me around. I named his little bro Archie :-)

Chik: I flippied onto MQB last night and FLIPPED (my lid(. That has to be the horniest looking, most suggestive, skimpily clad bunch of gals I have seen yet. I haven't seen anything quite on that level even from these Hoochies here in FloriDuh. (shocking) And the guy I noticed was Alex Nones, the dirtbag brother (Oscar) from La Piloto and the dirtbag son (Erik) in P&P. Barefoot in a sheer shirt he looked so gay. Wait he was gay in La Piloto too. Anyway. A couple times I thought his dance partner had stuck to him.

So I had to come up with a borderline Name corruption. Thanks for your inquiry. :-)

Did we make it through Friday Night without Snorty Horty? I think we did. She is probably in her room concentrating her power for a major assault tonight. I hopeo her aneurysm is progressing nicely.

Kirby..I taped MQB , but I have not had a chance to watch it yet. This show often has a lot of familiar faces. A few years ago, Angie Boyer and Susana Gonzalos were on a show called Dancing for the Wedding of Your Dreams (I cannot remember the Spanish words. ) Google ..Youtube Bailando lots of telenovela actors and actresses are very good dancers who competed on that show. And yes, the costumes are very interesting.

Chickie..Archie, Reggie, and Betty and Veronica???

Yeah, I think that Juana juants Julio. You cannot judge a book by it's cover, Juana. Pretty is as pretty does, my mother used to say.

I saw the year you are talking about with Suzanna and Angeligue. It was Dancing for a Dream, or something I thought. Anyway Angel and Suzanna stole the show that year. I thought my flea collar was going to burst into flames.

Wanna has already lost points for being so inept as to need help opening an account. Mia had her own account and money by the time she was ten. Yes 10.

And if our little dimwit darling goes for a married man IN HER ORBIT of family / friends she will not have many friends left. Hmmmmm maybe Hortense has been watching ahead. That would explain a lot ! :-)

OT Susy, there is no Betty and Veronica :-( Out of the 8 kids, only one was a girl...she was part of the first triplets and I named them Frankie, Jamie, and Claire :-)

Ms Hampton this is a "yell"of a recap.
Little Diego is sick of the screwed up
Adults in his life.Poor kid he's Livin in their twilight zone. Whats a curly haired little guy to do?

Why does jaja need julio to help her set up an account? And don't you need money to do that? She has no money yet. Or she could start it off with 50.00 bucks, and then when the money can be auto deposited into her account. She

oh , CHickie.!!!! Yes!!!thank you, thank you , thank you !!!!;-)Are you watching it? #winkandsigh Is Frankie verra jealous of Jamie???

Susy, my Frankie doesn't seem to be jealous of Jamie. They are always playing and jumping together along with Claire. What amazed me was how alert they were right after being born...they practically ran out of the womb. I think they are G/T LOL

Wow...Claire, Jamie, And Frankie all getting along together. Who knew? Very modern and free thinking !! I would never have guessed Jamie would share Claire. That guy is verra possessive. Are you watching season three?

Susy, no, I' m not watching Outlander; I don't have Starz in my programming and I probably wouldn't have time for it anyway :-/

I watched the first episode of season 3. Something I've noticed about claire
Shes very much into sex.Which is fine I just never expected it so much in this time period. And she really openly introduced Jamie to some techniques he never thought women knew anything about back then. back there guys were the pursuers.Hes Been Havin himself a riproarin good time with his 20th century women. Now if she can just get back there. I was able to see the first episode of the third season because Comcast had a free pass on for about 2 weeks so I was able to see that on demand. They've gone off now though.

Nina, girl. You have no idea how good this love story is. Google the show. You can probably see lots of the story online. It would make a great telenovela.
