Caer en Tentación #24, 11/20/17, Lunes: Blackmail
Labels: caer
I'm not entirely surprised that Damian had an affair with Cinthia, however, the way she put it by saying she was drugged up made it sound like he took advantage of her.
I just knew Andres would be the first to find out about the affair. I'm afraid he'll probably rape Carolina to further blackmail her.
What are Mia and Julieta up to? Are they gonna drug Joaquin?
I kinda agreed with Santiago when he told Antonio that he didn't want the DNA test and that Benjamin is his son. Santiago had been essentially raising Benjamin without Caro before she died.
I am certain Caro lied to the doctor when she said the pregnancy test she took was negative. It wasn't a false negative.
1.) Andres: Likely killer due to his hostility, mannerisms, etc.,
2.) Santiago
3.) Raquel
4.) Christian
5.) Godoy
6.) Antonio
"In some half-drunken edition of the Truth Game" was my favorite of many.
I feel for Raquel who in the beginning was vivacious and engaging. Now, she is bitter and angry, almost unrecognizable to her former self. And, the hurt keeps coming. Damian's treachery with her own sister. And yet, we sense there is more to come.
And while my heart goes out to her, she is not alone. One of the objects of her ire is as well. Of course Andres would not dare to blackmail Damian. He is going to victimize the weaker prey. Carolina. I feel as though I keep having to say, while I condemn Carolina's actions, her fate did not fit the crime. TF, I also envision Andres meting out a brutal punishment for her dalliance.
Mia and Lola are still prime suspects. Mia is encased in a hard shell and while she also has unjustly suffered, rage coarses through her veins. I would not want to be Joaquin. Julieta makes me slightly shiver.
Fed and Nico seem almost childlike compared to their sisters. Or, have we more to learn?
Laura is despicable. And, I don't care why or what makes her tick.
I still fear for Lola's safety. Santiago is too wrapped up with Raquel. Both he and Raq need somehow to muster up the strength to keep their eyes on their children. All of whom need them right now.
I look forward to seeing what other secrets of Damian's crawl out of the woodwork.
Wonderful UA. Thank you!
Diana
Unless he is the murderer, Santi is for all intents and purposes Benji's father.
Considering that Cinthia is so much less than even Carolina in every way I can think of I don't think her story is credible. The key words were "I was drugged! I was crazy!" so I am wondering whether she is confusing this with Andres' assault in the rehab facility. She looked so non compus mentis at the time that she could easily have been completely divorced from reality.
Besides, even if Damian had previously cheated on Raquel, this wouldn't be his way of doing things. While he gets off on risk I don't think that taking advantage of someone in Cinthia's condition at that time is part of his profile. That's Andres' game because he would not risk losing. Because he is already a loser.
As for whether Gabriela ever previously boinked Damian, I think that if it happened in te past it wasn't a cheating situation; it would have been before Damian and Raquel were together. What we do get from this episode is that she was looking to compete with Raquel in some way and if it couldn't be Damian, she was looking at Santiago.
Laura should lose her job and her credibility. I can understand the need to scoop the competition but there needs to be a major line drawn about doing this in a way that interferes with a police investigation. I am also wondering why her husband tells her anything anymore. I don't think he was a hired killer or anything and he should want to crack this case and close it. There is the possibility that he allowed her to know this in order to flush out Carolina's murderer but there should be security guards around Damian to protect him from that person.
I agree that Santiago is Benjamin's father no matter what the DNA test would say. The child is also the half-sibling of Lola and Nico. However, if the DNA test happens and he is Damian's spawn you know that Miriam would go to court for custody if only for spite.
She seems to have rare moment of lucidity but you are right, it may not have happened at all.
I hadn't considered Gab might have been before Raq.
Gab's moves seemed too calculated and his penchant for high risk behavior is suspicious.
I don't think anything is for certain. We will just have to see what the flashbacks reveal.

Wowee, what an episode. It was in good hands with you, Urban, what with the Truth Game, Gabriela, the girls, the confession by Cin--everything. And Andres? And Carolina? If there ever was a motive to kill HIM, this was it. But he wasn't the one who ended up dead.
TF--I noticed the new intro, too. I usually FF through it, but I missed the cue and ended up watching it. There IS a man with a gun, pointed at someone, but is it pointing at Carolina? TBD.
I'm firmly in the camp that Gabriela boinked Damian (or vice versa) before Carolina and without Raq's knowledge. Remember when she saw them sitting in an outdoor café she was all too familiar with Dam and complained that he had traded her for Carolina? She said it in such a vague way that it could have included Raq, but it definitely put a damper on her relationship with Raquel. She eventually told Raq she was jealous (at the lunchus interruptus). According to Raq, she and Dam weren't into trading partners, so I think this was a one-on-one and Gab was pissed that he had moved on to another conquest.
I do feel a little sorry for Cin. I've never known a truly addicted person, so I can't speak to how they would behave. We've been told that inhibitions are reduced, physical defenses are lowered, decision-making gets cloudy, so she may have been vulnerable to Damian--or he could have been supplying her with the drugs.
BTW, where did Mia get the pills she's putting in Joaquin's lemonade? Also, Julieta was a friend from earlier. She was the one that bonded with Mia over cutting themselves. Mia is UPPING her game. Will her next step be to torture and kill a small animal? She is really disturbed. Look how she's treating Nico in the present, now that he has had sex with her. She feels she owns him and demands attention 24/7.
So, Raquel is wrestling with her feelings toward Santiago. That's good. Once that gets straightened out they can both move on. Together or apart. Vic's accusation and the gun may make for a bumpy road for them.
What Laura did was unpardonable. Most legitimate news reporting would only mention what is known to be factual. She editorialized that Damian was conscious when Caro was shot (who told her that????) and that Raq and Santi might be the guilty ones. She did it without thinking about the five children involved, nor how she is putting Damian at risk.
I wonder who else will die. (Someone who isn't a villain)
I didn't like Gabriela flirting with Santiago but thankfully he didn't seem interested.
I can't see Damian being a predator with Cinthia like Andres either, but a while back Dam and Cin shared a look when Raq was in the room with them, like they had a secret. But maybe this was just a red herring. Gabriela is definitely bold enough to have hit on Dam alone without her husband in the deal, but who knows? Maybe Dam found her too pushy and turned her down, maybe not.
And if you say anything to Damián I will see that your husband sees those videos.
Fingers crossed that Carolina does not fall for this trap and instead tells Damian. She knows how dirty Andres has been with her own daughter. Surely, she knows meeting him at a hotel would be a setup to sink her even deeper. It's bad enough seeing young Lola and Mia making foolish choices. I need to see a mature woman doing a wise thing.
I think now we're seeing the walls are
Falling in on These two cheaters. Tho
I could have done without the murder
Of her. That way she could face the music, and he coming out of the coma
They'd both face the firingsquad toget
-her.My concern is that gun could grow
Some legs and walk out wherever santi
Put it for safe keeping.I wish she had
Left that dang gun in that creeps desk
Or wherever she found it.
Now that Ol hellhound just might have
What she needs to setup Raquel.Theres
A scripture in the bible about people
Sitting around plotting evil against other people, and that's what that Ol
Hound from hell is doin to raquel.Shes
So wrapped up in pain n anger, shes not
Watchin her back her sides nor her front. Silvia is a good actress, I can
Feel the Agony of the character. Shes
Good.
I agree with you Steve. The body count cold go up. Little mia has a Demon steak in her. She likes revenge just a Little bit to much.Who is she druggin? Shes merciless.
So bro-In Law likes to spread the love
When he wasn't with the wifey. And if
Cint tellin the truth, he didn't care
How he got it or who he gave it to.And What condition they were in. Didnt
She say she was dopped up? Dam Damian
You a dog.
That gabby girl is a little bit to friendly she wants to do em both, yuck.
Poor santi. I still don't see he could loose Beni.Miriam has no right to that
Little boy. And she did such a bang up
Job raising her perfect sorryass son.
Ay..these dysfunction screwed up folk.
Thank you Urban
And that hellhound need to go take some dulculax. Why does she have so much hatred in her? What kind of man was dam's dad to put up with her. He
Probably died to get away from her. Or
Like this guy said in the Christmas movie "your husband didn't die lady, he ran Away from you". Lol.
I saw one positive scene last night, the fact that Antonio knows the gun belongs to Andres, and it was in his possession until the night before when Raquel took it. Andres said it was his gun so if it is connected to the murder he can't say it was stolen. So that leads me to believe the gun is not the murder weapon.
I do now believe that Andres has moved up on the list of suspects, especially because of the video tape of Caro and Dam. He is a dirty pig, and he may have been trying to shut carol up. We are still looking at 3 years back, so there has to be a lot more happening up until the weekend of the trip. We are getting the back story, but still need to know what happened during the entirety of the 3 years.
Sandie, what started to bother me is that it better not take the entire series for the 3 years before to catch up to the events in the present of Episode 1. I suspect they will have to fast-forward through Carolina's pregnancy to get us to Benjamin's birth.
