Previously: Agustín storms back
into Roxana’s home and demands that Roxana tell him that the baby isn’t his…and
if she did it just to stay with Antonio. She made up all those lies just to
blackmail him. Roxana heartlessly admits she did it because she didn’t think he
was good enough of a man…or of a father to her child. He damns the day he met
her and storms back out.
In their auto shop office, Ramón thinks they did well for
a first day. Sofía had no doubts since he is the mechanic and the main
attraction for the shop; anyway, he is hers. Ramón is taken aback to hear her say
that he is hers; so she quickly backpedals and tells him he is her associate. When
she notes that all their dreams are coming true, she kisses him, but he tells
her not to do that again and reminds her that they agreed to be associates and
friends…only. She tries to argue, but is
interrupted by Valente who wants to know where they are going to celebrate. Ramón
suggests the taco place so they go. Sofía is disappointed but goes with them
anyway.
Roxana calls Marta to ask for help because her
disgraceful ex-husband wants to take Diego away from her. She asks if she can
go hide there for a few days. She doesn’t want Antonio to
find her. After Marta agrees, Roxana packs up and tells Diego they are going on a vacation to her
friend’s house...but silently thinks that his disgraceful father will not find
them.
At Marg’s apartment, Antonio brought sushi for dinner.
She thanks him for the margaritas but he didn’t send them so she figures they
were from Poorfi. When she complains that Poorfi will probably persist, Antonio
doesn’t blame him…he has good taste. He laughs and when Marg questions why, he
tells her he is laughing about the evil deed he just committed—and tells her
about running into Agustín and telling him about how Roxana lied. He thinks Roxana
must have had a hell of a time with it, but Marg thinks she deserved it.
At Luisa’s, Luisa asks for the guys, so Dalia tells her
they are probably celebrating. When Luisa tells her she is going out Dalia thinks
she reconciled with Benito, but Luisa tells her she doesn’t want her even
mentioning his name. Luisa tells Dalia she is going out with Finito, at least
he values her, unlike Benito.
Ramón, Valente and Sofía celebrate at a taquería. When
Valente comments that they have the best auto shop in Mexico City and the
surrounding areas, Ramón agrees that they did well for the first day, but not
every day may be the same. Sofía tells him not to be pessimistic. She knows
that many of the customers came because of him and his good looks and thinks
they should take advantage of that. After Valente suggests Ramón receive
customers in swimming trunks, Ramón thinks it’s silly. Sofía leaves for a little
while so Valente takes advantage of his alone time with Ramón and wonders if Ramón
and Sofía are back together since they were too close for comfort when he
entered the office, but Ramón denies it. Ramón doesn’t want to give Sofía wings
to that idea, but Valente tells him he should consider it…she is a great girl;
and he can’t be waiting for Fabi forever, she is, after all, married. Ramón still
can’t accept that and believes that one cannot rule the heart…and he prefers
to stop talking about Sofía and just have some fun.
At Luisa’s, Luisa considers what to wear on her date with
Finito. She finally decides on a dress, but has to add some padding to give
herself an upper boost. She gets dressed, and takes a nightie…just in case the
need may arise.
As she sets the table, Fabi has a memory of telling Ramón
she needs to be taught to cook and Ramón telling her he will teach her. She
then wonders how he could be so deceitful and how she could have believed him. Just
then, Francystco wants to know how much she wants for her thoughts and wonders
what she thought of Julio’s reaction about the money. Fabi thinks it’s just the
way Julio is and tells Francystco not to mind him. Francystco then tells Fabi
that the only thing missing now is for her to be his again. He starts kissing her,
but she squirms as if she is being invaded by slimy worms. Just then she is saved by the
bell. Agustín comes in drunk as a skunk and crying that Roxana is a disgrace;
the wretch lied to him. He shares that the baby she lost was his and questions
how he could have fallen in love with someone like that. Francystco is sorry,
but thinks he should get over it so he will call a taxi. Fabi stops him because
he can’t let Agustín go as drunk as he is. Agustín thinks Francystco has a good
woman and tells them how Roxana insulted him by telling him he was never enough
for her. After Francystco tells Fabi to make some strong coffee, Agustín wonders
how he could fall in love with that witch being that there are so many other women
out there.
Luisa gets to Finito’s restaurant as he is still working
and he tells her if beauty were a sin, she wouldn’t have God’s forgiveness. He
asks her to wait just a few moments while he finishes up and offers her
something to drink. As she sits, she wonders if she can go through with it, but
mumbles that if Benito can, why can’t she…
At Julio’s, Ossie is searching the internet for an easy
way to make money. He comes upon a roulette game and remembers that is what
Emilia plays. Meanwhile at the casino, Julio and Emilia are the table gambling
together. He kisses her as he wins. Emilia then gets a call and walks away to
answer it. When she returns, she tells him Greta called to invite them to the
same type of game as last time, but it’s for next week. He agrees to go. Back at
Julio’s, Ossie plays his game as Jorge passes by then leaves. Ossie wins again
and wishes he could win like that in a real casino.
At Horhellia’s home, Horhellia is still giving the nurse some
of herself (hell) and refuses to eat until her son returns. As the nurse
finally gets a spoonful in her mouth, Horhellia spits out the food all over the
nurse and tells her Julio is probably with that servant and orders her to clean
her up, then to go look for him…if she wants her to eat, she needs to go look
for her son.
Jorge goes to Andrea’s apartment. She tells him that if
he is looking for his father he is with her grandma, but he wants to talk to
her. Jorge wants to spend time together with her the next day before she
leaves…just like they used…like when they were one for the other. As Andrea
starts to refuse, the nurse comes looking for Julio. When Jorge mentions that
he is supposed to be with his grandma, the nurse tells them he just stopped by
for a few minutes and left. She is quitting…she can’t take it anymore and is leaving
that same day. After Jorge reminds the nurse that his grandmother can’t stay
alone, Andrea asks Juana if she knows where Julio is, but Juana thinks he is
with his mother…that is what Julio told her. When Andrea tells her he isn’t
there, Juana tries to call him, but his phone is off. Andrea then tells Juana
the nurse wants to leave.
Later, as the nurse enter Horhellia’s bedroom, Horhellia wants
to know where her son is. The nurse tells her he isn’t around, then points to
the door as Juana, Jorge and Andrea walk in. As soon as Horhellia sees Juana, she
orders that woman leave because she knows Juana came to kill her. Juana assures
Horhellia she will not to anything to her, but Horhellia keeps asking for Julio.
When Juana tells her Julio had told her he would be there with her, Horhellia
tells Juana that Julio probably left with another woman…a woman of his class…and
she is happy about it. After Horhellia runs everyone off. Andrea tells Jorge to
call his dad, maybe he will answer his call.
At Emilia’s sex den, Julio is in the process of doing the
deed with Emilia when Jorge calls and tells him his grandma is being
intolerable; so he needs to come over. When Julio hears Horhellia yell that she
wants “that woman” to leave and wants them out of her sight, Jorge tells him
she is referring to Juana; so Julio decides to go. Jorge assures Horhellia that
Julio is on his way. Juana then asks what the doctor said they should do when Horhellia
gets like that, so the nurse tells her he gave her something, but she won’t
take it. Juana then calls Francystco to tell him that Horhellia refuses to take
her meds; and Francystco agrees to go over.
As Finito locks up his restaurant, he asks Luisa where
she wants him to take her. As she tells him she wants him to take her to heaven
and kisses him, Ada and Fredes watch from a distance. Ada thinks Benito would
die if he were to see Luisa like that, so Fredes gets a grand idea and takes
pictures.
Left all alone, Emilia hates to be left like “that,” so
she calls Ossie as he plays his video roulette game. She tells him she is on
her way home, but he’s not too enthused and tells her he is already in bed. She
insists, so he agrees to go.
Fredes and Ada go to see Benito at work. They are there
especially to show him something. When Fredes tells him they encountered Luisa
kissing Finito, Benito tells her not to add salt to his wounds but she shows
him the pictures she took…those are the proof that the woman is deceitful. When
Benito slumps down into his chair looking devastated, Ada worries.
As Finito and Luisa walk together under the stars, she wonders
what they do there. He replies that she told him to take her to the heavens, so
he points to the sky and tells her there are the heavens. Luisa clarifies that
she didn’t mean that…she wants him to make her his. Finito refuses because when
two people are destined to be together, they will meet one way or another. He
does desire her, but it should be done after he takes her to the altar. Love is
not a matter of the flesh, but of the soul…and if they are not united by God,
then he wants to keep her immaculate (He’s a little late for that!).
At his work station, Benito receives a couple bottles of
tequila that he ordered and listens to a love-done-me-wrong-song.
At Horhellia’s, Francystco tells Horhellia that if she
doesn’t take the meds she won’t get better, but she will only take the meds
from him or Julio; others will poison her. They want to kill her to get rid of
her…Juana hates her and wants to kill her. In the living room, Fabi wonders
what they will do if the nurse resigns, so Andrea suggests they hire another
one and see how long she lasts. Julio arrives and chides the nurse for what’s
happening. The nurse asks what he expects her to do… his mother is very
difficult. Julio insists he had warned her not to do anything to upset his
mother and asks why she didn’t call him, so the nurse reminds him he told her
not to bother him. When he starts to argue, she tells him it doesn’t matter; it’s
not her problem because she is leaving. Julio then turns on Juana and wonders
why she didn’t call her. Juana retorts that she did call him, but he didn’t
answer. Julio lies and tells her he left the cellphone in his car; he just
happened to get to his car when Jorge called. After Francystco comes out and
tells them Horhellia should be calmer with the meds he gave her, Julio wonders
what they are going to do and thinks they will need to administer the meds
themselves, but Francystco suggests either sedating her or putting her in a
psycho hospital. Fabi refuse to admit in her into that type of hospital…her
grandma is not crazy. Julio states they will have to find another nurse;
meanwhile they will have to take turns staying with Horhellia. Julio agrees to
stay with her the night.
Next day—
At Benito’s work station, Nabor arrives and finds Ben
drunk on the floor and wonders what is wrong with him…Benito can’t even stand.
Jorge is at Andrea’s door and wonders if Andrea is ready,
but she wonders ready for what. He reminds her that he wanted them to spend the
day together. When she tells him she didn’t say she would go, Jorge replies
that she didn’t say no; so he took it as a yes. She gives in...he’s in luck
since Santi is busy; and they can’t be together. Jorge thinks being with her is
lots of luck.
At Marg’s, Antonio tells Marg he is going to see Diego, but
needs to stop at his apartment to change so Diego won’t see him with the same
clothes. Marg is also going to go see her mother then will return...she has no
desire to go anywhere else.
At Benito’s work station, Nabor is giving Benito coffee
as he is slumped in his chair. Jorge and Andrea get in their car as the Nabor waves
to them. Nabor then goes back and tells Benito he could get in a lot of trouble;
if they knew he was drunk, they would report him, but Benito doesn’t care. He
just wants Nabor to go buy him some beer so he can drown out his sorrow. Nabor
tells him if he isn’t going to drink the coffee, then he should leave. If
someone sees him like that, he is finished. Nabor tries to get him to drink coffee
when the boss arrives and wonders what is going on. When the boss tells him drinking
on the job is the last straw, Benito quits before he gets fired. Nabor tells
the boss not to listen to him; Benito is drunk because he is sad, but Benito
tells them it was because he was betrayed by an evil woman...she is to blame
for all his troubles. The boss tells him not to even ask for his severance pay.
In their room. Valente tells Ramón that he wants to learn
more about working on cars. Ramón is confident that he will be learning so
quickly. Valente assures him that he will have another good mechanic soon; he
is even going to take classes. Valente also wants to borrow Ramón’s cologne;
hopefully he will be as lucky as Ramón with the girls. Dalia comes by and
invites them to the store; so Valente accepts the invitation. After they leave,
Sofía calls Ramón to ask what he does. She invites him to breakfast and some
other outings but he’d rather go to the shop to get ahead on some work.
In his restaurant, Finito thinks about Luisa wanting him
to make her his as the meat burns. As his helper takes over, he mumbles that they
lead identical lives
At Benito’s, Ada sees Ben arrive drunk. When she rushes
to him, Benito asks why they had to show him the photos of Luisa; they just
ruined his life. She asks him not to be angry with her; she didn’t want to do that,
but he thinks she did…so he could get Luisa out of his system. Ada doesn’t want
to see him suffer but he says they accomplished their mission… he even lost his
job because he had a “few” drinks on the job; they should be happy now. When
she asks him to forgive her, he replies may God forgive her because he won’t.
If he dies of sadness, it will be her fault.
Dalia and Valente are shopping. As Valente considers a
shirt, he tells Dalia that if she likes the shirt, he will take it...no girl
had ever helped him shop for clothes. When Dalia wonders if he had a girlfriend
in Tijuana, Valente shares that he didn’t. Dalia thinks it strange because he
is so good looking. Valente then turns the question to her and asks if she has
a boyfriend. When Dalia confides she doesn’t, Valente also comments that it’s
strange because she is so good looking.
Julio tells Marg he doesn’t know what they are going to
do. Since neither of them can leave their jobs, Marg suggests Luisa take care
of Horhellia. Luisa has a good character and might be able to handle her. Marg
stays while Julio goes to take a bath.
At Benito’s, Ada regrets having Fredes taken that picture.
Fredes arrives and Ada tells her Benito blamed her for the photo. Fredes thinks
it will pass; nobody dies of love. After seeing that photo he will never
forgive Luisa. Ada says he will never forgive them either. Fredes thinks he is
only saying that because he is hurt right now. She will take care of things,
but Ada asks her not to give him any of her herbs. When Ada tells her Benito
was dismissed him from work, Fredes worries because he is the primary income source.
Fredes blames everything on that skinny woman, but Ada thinks it’s their fault.
Fredes is upset that Benito was drinking on the job…it’s a lack of
responsibility. They won’t make it on what she makes selling cookies, so Ada
offers to contribute, but Fredes states that Benito needs to looks for a job…and
she goes off shouting for Benito.
As Fabi is getting ready to leave the apartment, Agustín wakes
up. He is very embarrassed, but Fabi tells him they know exactly how he feels. As
he leaves, Agustín tells her he doesn’t know how to appreciate what they did
for him. Fabi calls Francystco who has gotten an early start on his misdeed
with Naughty Nurse. Fabi wants to meet him at the cafeteria, but he tells her
he won’t have time he has a lot of work…in fact he has to go because they are
calling him from emergency (someone needs mouth-to-mouth, etc., etc., etc.…)
Antonio calls Roxana for the fifth time but she doesn’t
answer; so he leaves a message that he will wait outside until she answers.
At her friend’s house, Marta tells Roxana she can’t
believe Antonio is such a lout. Roxana tells her it has been a hell; she needed
a break and so did poor Diego. When Marta wonders about Diego’s school, Roxana
replies that she won’t have to let the school know anything. Marta thinks they
will have a good time there; and as she goes inside, Roxana listens to
Antonio’s message and mumbles that he can stay there waiting.
Julio greets Juana who gives him the cold shoulder. When
he wonders why she is like that, she asks why he lied…he wasn’t with his mother
and he didn’t even answer when she called him. Julio again lies and tells Juana
he went out for a drink and to think about their situation; it’s not working. She
doesn’t like him the way he likes her; and now she doesn’t trust him. Juana insists
on knowing why he said one thing, then did another. Julio continues that he is
worried about his mother; and Juana is always resisting him. He has this
enormous urge, but she does not reciprocate. What does she want him to say…that
is how he feels; he tries to convince her that what they have is beautiful, but
she rejects him. When Juana tells him she wants him too; he wonders if she is
just saying that because she feels sorry for him. As he gropes her, Julio
suggests they go to her room or his house, but Juana would rather bring him
coffee. As he tries to convince her, Juana is saved by the bell. Julio doesn’t
want her to answer, but she does anyway. Don Pedro has come by to invite her to
go out to eat, but Julio tell him she can’t because they already have plans. When
Juana suggests they go eat another day, Don Pedro announces that he came to say
good bye; he is going to Greece.
Andrea and Jorge are on their picnic in the country side.
He brought wine because he wants to say good-bye appropriately. Andrea,
however, wants water so he gives her some mineral water; and as it splashes,
they laugh. Jorge tells Andrea he will miss her; he doesn’t know if he will be
able to forget her. When Jorge assures her he won’t say anything more so she
will be happy, Andrea responds that he will find someone, but he doesn’t think
so. He will never be alone having her…here (in his heart). He wants to stay with
the taste of her lips on his and...they kisssss.
At Andrea’s, Juana asks Don Pedro how long he will be in
Greece, but he doesn’t know. He is going with his daughters to a wedding, but
they also want to go visit some nearby countries. Julio congratulates him. After
Juana tells him she will miss him, Don Pedro assures her he will call when he
gets back. Julio wishes him a good trip. Juana hugs him and tells him to take
care. After Done Pedro leaves, Julio tells Juana not to worry; he will support
her just like Don Pedro…or even more. He starts to kiss her but she pulls back
and goes to make coffee. Julio is agitated that Don Pedro’s departure has hurt Juana...
and hopes Don Pedro stays over there forever.
At the picnic, Andrea thinks Jorge set a trap for her,
but Jorge only wanted to take her out of the trap she set for herself. She
thinks Jorge hopes that, because of the kiss, she might change her mind about
going to Chili, but Jorge thinks at least she will think about it. Andrea
admits he is right; she couldn’t leave. Jorge wants her to be convinced that they
were born to be together, but Andrea is hesitant; they are still cousins. Jorge
thinks that what is important is that they can’t be separated feeling what they
feel. If she lacks strength, he has enough for both of them. They kiss again.
Fabi walks in front of her auto shop. As she looks over
to Ramón’s shop, she pictures him kissing Sofía and her eye tear up. Just then,
Ramón puts his hands on her shoulders and calls out her name.
