Grace, you may want to consider using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). A VPN can mask where you're coming from, including making it seem as if you're coming from, say, the United States, rather than from a different country. Some countries try to ban VPNs, but many do not. Some VPNs cost money, but others are free. There's a good website, Tech Support Alert, that finds and rates free software, and not long ago they had a discussion of the Best VPNs to use in 2017. You can find that discussion here:
https://www.techsupportalert.com/content/best-vpn-services.htm

I don't know whether this will solve the problem, but I thought I'd mention it.

Is Roberto in the mafia? There's always someone (or a group) doing his dirty work no matter what the task. He's a ruthless manipulator, aka con 'artist'. It was only a matter of time before those 'hidden' cameras were installed. Does he even need the neighbor now?

Leo, it's also just a matter of time before he's busted...I mean with Meche and Cris boldly walking into their rooms unnanounced.

Re: yesterday's episode, Looks like Juanjo is trying to slowly let Serena down easily. He's acting like someone who's not interest in building a relationship.

Great question, Spanish Student. It really is astonishing how many people Roberto knows or can get hold of to do his dirty work. And no, I suspect that he no longer needs Sara the Spy. Not only can he spy on Aurora anywhere in the house, he can do so remotely. And what exactly did Roberto set up re Matías? All we saw was one photo of Matías wearing a towel in the sauna. Even if there were also photos of him naked, so what? Certainly that's not blackmail material. So are we supposed to believe that Matías really is gay or bisexual, and that he engaged in some kind of sex with the guy (hired by Roberto) who entered the sauna as he was relaxing while the second guy Roberto hired took photos? And, moreover, that Roberto knew that Matías was gay/bisexual?? I've got a collection of beanie hats, but none of them is good enough to help me buy this.

Sangre

Yes, Juanita, I've been thinking the same thing for about a week...to me the writers are giving Roberto too much of an advantage. I get that the antagonist literally gets away with murder until the very end but Roberto's winning this mind game too easily. Makes him seem
Less mentally disturbed and more mafia con artist. Now that Matias has apparently backed down and retracted his words, I hope Aurora doesnt play blind again assuming all's well. And there wa

Sorry about the formatting/editing above....

Interesting observation, Spanish Student. Rob seems to have a lot of resources at his disposal. We have noted his possible involvement with human traffickers. If he is involved with the underworld, his days could be numbered. When his evil deeds come to light, there are many who could be accused of his murder. Would the writers dare to kill him off midway through?

Juanita, I agree the Matias blackmail is bit of a beanie moment. It's hard to believe the depths of Rob's depravity. But he is sooo good at discovering and exploiting weaknesses and covering his tracks.

Leo: is he a hetero cross-dresser or is she transgender? I remembered that Telemundo had a transgender woman in Mas Sabe el Diablo, but we did not witness the transition process. At the time, I thought that was a bold move for the writers.

SANGRE

WOW!! I MISSED ALOT, Roberto is working the LONG -CON,
Writers are placing him in position to be a what master criminal as well??

..where are we in this series, are they sliding in plotzzz in order to stretch it out??? or wrap it up??

TOO cute!! BEANIE HAT !!! Cecil & Beanie ,the sock puppet : BEANIE HAT ??
I JUST showed my age!! proud of it!!! Wisdom !!!

Juanjo stay with Serena!!

Sangre

thanks all for your comments!

the writers are just not giving us the whole story, although it kind of gives us sympathy with Aurora as it's suggested Rob is doing these things but we don't know for certain.

with Matais we see Rob remembering him in Argentina coming out of some backroom place with another guy, him pulling up and fastening his pants, then we see Rob locating some sort of male escort service on his phone, then we see a guy entering the hotel ?? sauna and taking off his towel, and this is all being recorded so I'm assuming there was sex, especially the way Matais crumbled.

interesting that Rob assures Aurora that there are only 4 ?? outside surveillance cameras at home, to protect her privacy.

Aurora tells the therapist about the info Matais gave her but expresses her doubt because they have joint bank accounts, when the therapists rings her bell when he asks if Rob could have other accounts, she later searches and finds no deduction for the $10K necklace and confronts Rob about it, oh yeah, he found an account that his parents had opened for him when he was a kid and it had that money in it, but it's closed now.

Aurora also cracked into Rob's work computer, which stopped him in his tracks, although she didn't get a chance to see anything, apparently he has total control over the company's purchasing.

everyone pulled together and got the grapes harvested, that was nice,

Emilio's death is just not going to go away, as we see Juanjo and Sere at his grave when Cris and family show.

Cris is about to debut the wine Aurora and Juanjo won an award for, as an honor to Emilio, Paloma is putting together some photos for it.

Luis presents a new signature wine for the Montiels, but it's too bland, Anita is all excited about her coming baby, but is ignored.

Sangre

Juanjo: cute and sweet but sworn to fun and loyal to none.

He's been honest with Serena but she's gonna get hurt anyway. I like them as a couple but I hope she gets her HEA with someone else.

IIRC Juanjo's immaturity and avoidance of commitment was an impediment to his relationship with Aurora, too. And she was/is the supposed love of his life. She came back from Europe ready to settle down and start a career and a family. He still wanted to run off to Ushuaia.

Sangre

deb, thanks so much for the terrific recap, and especially for explaining what I obviously missed in last night's episode. I clearly wasn't paying attention when Rob had his flashback about Matias in Argentina. I'll take my beanies out of the garbage and put my brain there instead.

dondi356, thanks for reminding us about the immaturity that plagued Juanjo's relationship with Aurora from the start.

Sangre

interesting Dondi, taking us back to the start of the show, if I remember it was Juanjo who was happy being irresponsible and Aurora that wanted to make something of her life, wasn't it her that mentioned Ushuaia and Juanjo didn't have a clue, then she went off to school in Europe where she had a fling with Rob, and when she returned, Juanjo wanted to start up where they left off, he even threw in the 4 of them going to Ushuaia to seal the deal, Aurora was hedging but missing the excitement Juanjo brought to her life, quietly pushing Rob aside.

Sangre

Thanks, deb. Great recap and amazing memory for detail!
I must have blinked and missed Matias fixing his pants but Rob misses nothing.
Juanjo certainly brings the excitement into all his relationships--family, friends and lovers alike.

Sometimes I find the editing in Sangre a bit disorienting. We've had some odd jumps in time and space with no explanation. The flashbacks seem to flash a little too quick for me. I'll have to pay better attention.

Nevertheless, I'm enjoying this ride.

"SANGRE":

Deb: Aurora still cannot make up her mind yet ?

Sangre

Dondi356, I totally agree with your comments on Juanjo's inability to commit, in the past and present. And watching this show has been a wonky ride to me thanks to the time jumps in time. I was hoping the goal of the writers was to get to a certain point and then nest a little but maybe not...

Juanita, no need to put the beenies away...Roberto is definitely winning the battles right now. Worst part is his two-facedness...weak and Unable to control him emotions in one scene and then skillfully manipulating others' emotions in the next.

this show was choppy, did they get the scissors out, the ratings are still down and I saw a promo for "Al otro lado del muro" tonight.

so didn't Rob move out, now he's back, pricked a bunch of holes in some condoms, but they didn't show if they had sex?

and was that Emlio in Rob's nightmare chasing him with an ax? Ha!

but this new guy, could he be the guy from the first show that Juanjo met and brought to the grape picking who later stole from them, I'm cloudy on this, but they flashed back to Juanjo beating on him, then he got away, so he had a beef with Juanjo and went to tamper with his truck (the one that crashed and killed Emilio) but someone was already there, and he recorded him, is this Roberto? and now he is out of prison and his sister (is this Dolores with the 2 boys) has saved some of his stuff, including the tablet with the recording.

other stuff, Emilio the wine is launched, Paloma and Aurora show a film clip with Emilio crediting Aurora and Juanjo for the wine, Cris later rants on Aurora, she leaves but Rob can't, she takes a case of Emilio the wine and drops by to see Juanjo, this would be really nice except Sere made Emilio's favorite dinner and arranged to get a bottle of Emilio the wine for a special night with Juanjo, but Sere had to go to work first, (work where, when did she get a job?) and Juanjo and Aurora ate the meal.

Cris has Rob bill the Montiels for their time picking including anything Rob can throw in (which I think included some food Meche brought.

Luis is having the Bella Dama wine dumped when Juanjo tips him, in europe they sometimes combine old wine with new, bingo, everyone likes luis' new blend.

Halimacandy- I just noticed from the cast list Doris is being played by Maky Soler (Juan Soler's wife) who played the one eye girl, Alicia, in "Santa Diabla".

Sangre

deb, ¡muchísimas gracias! I was so confused about this episode. I'm most grateful for your recap.

I couldn't figure out the truck business and the relationship of Dolores' brother to the truck. At first, I thought that he might have fiddled with it, and that his fiddling could have caused or contributed to the fatal accident. But then I saw him looking at a video of someone near the truck, and I wondered whether the person could have been Omnipresent Roberto, and that Dolores' brother took the video. Could Roberto have mucked up the truck because he was jealous of Juanjo? And so is Roberto responsible at least in part for the accident? And is that why Roberto is having nightmares of someone trying to kill him? There's also the fact that Dolores' brother kept looking at the photo of Emilio that was on all the posters advertising the debut of the Emilio wine. Why did he keep looking at the photo?

Crisanto becomes more and more unreasonable with each episode. In the previous one, he was displeased with Roberto for suggesting that they bill the Monteils for their labor, gas, the air they breathed, whatever. He told Roberto he (Crisanto) would look very bad if he did such a thing. And then this episode opens with him telling Roberto to send the bill.

I'm confused about Luis and the wine. I thought that the Bella Dama wine was supposed to be very good wine, and that's why the Monteils were going to serve it at the celebration they were hosting. But the bad guys poisoned the wine that they were going to serve. But surely they poisoned only a few cases. The rest of the wine was presumably untouched and very good. Was Luis mixing the very good La Bella Dama with the crappy wine he had made, and somehow he wound up with a good wine blend? Why lessen the quality of the Bella Dama wine?

Does anyone else think that Anita (Luis' pregnant wife) looks both stupid and slutty?

deb, did the promo for al otro lado del muro indicate a time slot? They don't always restrict the promos to the time slot in which it's being shown.

Sangre

Seems a lot of people are responsible in part for Emilio's death:
Juanjo-impaired driving
Hospital-negligence in diagnosing Emilio's condition
Police-for bungling investigation? Did they ever check the vehicle for malfunction/tampering? Is that required?
Last but not least, Roberto-tampered with Juanjo's truck and Emilio was collateral damage.

Roberto will have to eliminate the threat.

Juanita-totally agree on Anita. What does Luis see that we don't?

As for the wine, my guess is that the Bella Dama brand was severely damaged by the poisoning scandal. Luis found a way to save the signature wine and the crappy wine at the same time, with props to Juanjo.

I also saw the promo for Al Otro Lado del Muro but there was no time slot listed. Deb? You always have the good inside info.

Grace,
I use Tunnel Bear to change my location. It's the easiest VPN to use I've ever tried. There's a free version with a very minor limitation (once a month, I think, you need to "advertise" on Twitter that you use it) and a paid version.

www.tunnelbear.com

Also, there's an add-in for Chrome. If you use Firefox, the setup is a bit different.

Hola a Tod@S. LXV and I have decided to make a slight change in the timing of the Monday Telemundo page. From now on, instead of Monday's page appearing at 3 PM, it will appear at 8 PM, just as Thursday's page does. That way, discussions over the weekend won't get broken up needlessly on Monday at 3 PM. (As always, all times listed are Eastern Standard Time.)

Sangre

I made it to the library this morning and watched most of the first segment of the first show at the telemundo english youtube site, interesting, I recommend it.

the characters haven't changed much, Aurora was all business, cold to Juanjo from the getgo, not impressed with the truck named Ushuaia or the trip saying that all three would need adult supervision to get to the corner.

Rob who was there awaiting Aurora's return from France was full on psycho, but hiding it better, at the after harvest party he proposes to Aurora on one knee, Aurora accepts only to not embarrass him, the next day she discovers Cris has given Roberto, Natalia's job as company manager, meaning he would make 3 times the pay as Aurora and she would have to answer to him, Cris didn't see the problem since they were getting married, "this is a man's business".

Emilio and Sere back out of the trip because Cris gave him 80 acres and would help him start his own winery, Aurora mad at Cris and softened by the passion of Juanjo breaks it off with Roberto and decides to go off with Juanjo and the four celebrate, leading to the crash.

the bad guy takes off with Natalia's bag, but she had removed the money earlier, they canceled the credit cards, so all he got was Natalia's tablet.

on "Al otro lado del muro" all I've seen is "pronto".

Sangre, Fri, 12-5-18

Did anyone notice that Roberto cursed Emelio, "Maldito Emelio", immediately before he was haunted by him. Other than that, why the nightmares? Of course he did try to play up his part when speaking of Emelio at the wine event, and Aurora and Paloma saw right thru him.

The newly released guy looks a lot like Emelio but with hair. Best part of the show was finally being allowed to see who did what to the truck. Finally someone has something on Rob but will he Strike back and end up with the upper hand? It's asking too much for him to just take the tape to Juanjo or the police. He probably wants to be paid. I can't wait to see Delores' reaction to the video.

Juanita, Anita has always looked suspicious to me. Maybe it's because of her friendship with Rob or something equally sinister. Or because sometimes the camera lingers on her facial expressions.

Sangre y Al otro lado del muro

I just came upon an English-language site that offers a very brief synopsis and cast for Al otro lado del muro. In addition, it says First aired: March 2018, Preceded by Sangre de mi tierra. If this is correct, we've got the rest of January and February for Sangre, and perhaps some of March as well. The link to the site: http://telenovela-database.wikia.com/wiki/Al_otro_lado_del_muro

dondi356, wow!! Thanks so much for letting us know about Telemundo Now: http://now.telemundo.com/. This is terrific news! Apparently it's not available to everyone, you have to get your Internet from one of the providers they list. But there are a number of providers listed--I didn't count, but it looked like 15-20 of them. It included xfinity, which is my Internet provider, so I'm delighted to know about this. I had to fiddle with the settings to get captions on, but they came on, and in English.
I do plan to continue to watch on my TV with Spanish captions, but it's great to know that this is available. Also, I should note that it's available the day after the show airs on TV, more or less like the Telemundo English site, except that Telemundo Now apparently plays the entire episode, not just the first 15 minutes. Again, many thanks!

Thanks 😍

Just in case anyone is wondering why the Monday Telemundo y Más page isn't yet up, it's because we've changed the time of the Monday page. As I announced over the weekend, starting today the Monday page will appear at 8 pm, just like the Thursday page.
