Sangre...reposting

Do we know if Wilmer and juanjo were in the same prison. Could Wilmer also mean harm to juanjo

I knew Aurora’s complaint wasn’t gonna go well when I saw that the officer was a man. Sorry Too many of the guys in this show are from the stone ages.

Disappointed that the writers are turning aurora into such a weak and not so smart Chica. Regardless of Robs success with duping Chris last night.... she needs to wise up.

Sangre

Nett- I don't think they were in the same prison but...Juanjo caught him after he stole Natalia's bag and was really beating on him when Paco pulled him off.

TELEMUNDO...

the last couple of times I went to their site I noticed the spanish CCs on the videos were replaced with english CCs.

Sangre

deb, the captions that I see on the video broadcast on TV are in Spanish. I don't think I specified that I wanted a specific language, it's just the default. On Telemundo, I see captions in Spanish, but on English-language channels I see captions in English (though I usually turn those off). After reading your message, I went to the Telemundo site and started to watch the video of last night's episode, just to see what language the captions were in. The ones I saw were in Spanish. Is it possible that you're watching Telemundo NOW, which does have English captions?

Sangre, Thurs 1-11-18

I'm not sure how much I understood today. So in the past Wilmer stole from both families and was using a phone he stole from Paloma to taunt Robert? She didn't recognize him when she saw him. Could he still have a grudge against Juanjo? He really is the only one who knows that Juanjo was innocent ..,even Juanjo feels guilty..so it would be ridiculous if he still wanted vengeance over the beating. Love how he basically used Sara's gullibility against Rob. Needs to work on his timing so someone other than Rob sees his messages.

Yes!...another day when Aurora's thinking straight. This just makes more sense. Rob's actions and questions were so bizarre he couldn't even justify them. But Aurora really needs to thank Wilber cuz without his distractions Rob would be on her every move. And although she stopped short of full disclosure, she definitely benefited from Juanjo and Serena taking an interest in her well-being...something her parents are refusing to do.

How is Rob gonna handle Paloma's intervention in the Delores matter? He caved and agreed to apologize to Juanjo but instead attacks Candido without provocation. Shouldn't he be daily dinner conversation by now. Nobody likes this dude.

Natalia has advanced from playing hardball to playing dirty. And hubby's one step closer to Paloma.

Sangre

hmm, Roberto got his gun back, looked like he was about to shoot Candi, convinced he was the one because of the fresh paint splatters on him, when Wilmer called from (Rob's new app) near Rob's house, isn't Rob happy he bought a house a couple of hours away.

Spanish, "Shouldn't he (Rob) be daily dinner conversation by now" HA! thats too much, I agree, anyone still thinking this guy is sane is in a coma.

not liking Natalia going over to the dark side and taking Luis with her, too many Sommeliers about.

I'm not getting why Wilmer is winding up Rob (liking it though) instead of going for the money, but Dolores, out of a job (and I'm thinking clueless to what he is doing) told him he better step up his game.

TELEMUNDO...

Juanita- hmm, yep Telemundo.com, click CC, check box, apply, english captions, (there isn't any options on the language) I'll check again tomorrow.

"SANGRE":

Deb: I'm NOT shocked Natalia joined the dark side.

Sangre

Many thanks, Spanish Student and deb, for your enlightening comments. They helped clarify things for me. But Spanish Student, why did you say that Wilmer was using a phone he stole from Paloma? Did I miss that? I do know that Roberto receives info about the second phone he asked about, which belongs to someone named Paola, I think, but she had reported it stolen two years ago. Did you think the name was Paloma?

I was interested to see how Telemundo is incorporating more or less current events into the script. In the discussion among Mike, Paco, and Paloma, Mike doesn't want to get involved in politics, but first Paco and then Paloma come down strongly on the side of involvement and support, not "bread and circuses." Paco berates Mike for turning a blind eye when they're deporting and insulting immigrants, and either Paco or Paloma (I don't recall which) also mentions the threat of a wall. I think Paco also says something like "we may be American citizens now, but we're all immigrants."

I'm really enjoying Wilmer's tormenting Roberto, not just because Roberto is such a [fill in your favorite expletive], but also because Wilmer is doing it more cleverly than I had expected, including painting a sign on Aurora's car saying that her husband killed Emilio, and getting Roberto's hopes up that he can track the cell phone, only to be misled each time. The best touch of all, I think, was Wilmer's telling Sara that his name is Emilio, knowing that it will get back to Roberto. However, I fear that eventually Wilmer's luck and skill will fail. I suspect that Roberto is going to have to kill someone, and at the moment, I'm afraid it may be Wilmer. I hope I'm wrong (the one thing that gives me hope is that I usually am wrong!)

Sangre

ok, Juanjo seeing the Aurora folder on Susan's desk takes Sere and goes to see Aurora at home, she blows it off as a complaint against the yard vandals, Juanjo swears he will kill Rob if he hurts her, of course Roberto sees the two together (and not Sere) on his spy cameras and goes bananas.

later Aurora meets with Sere and admits, things are not alright, she no longer loves Roberto.

then there was the thing where Rob took her car to the car wash just when Aurora needs it, and why does he have a set of keys, she gets them back.

she also gathers up Emilio to go to her parents house and tells Rob to be gone when she gets back, they are done.

Luis' new blend is with Cris's grapes, Nat's plan is to exchange 20% of Cris's stored wine with theirs, and Aurora is keeping tabs on the wine because it's fermenting, awaiting their new tanks that are coming from China, Nat gave cris 48 hours to get his wine out of her tanks but now wants it to stay.

"SANGRE":

HALIMACANDY: You think Natalia is a good girl at heart ?

WTH ?

Sangre

Darn it...spent 15 minutes typing a message with one finger and my device died before it was sent..I'll keep it brief now.

Yes' Juanita, I thought it was Paloma's phone since they showed the scene when she caught him stealing (I thought it was her purse). I'm also wondering how long Wilber will last. He was just a petty thief 2 years ago. Hope he at least gets one in for Dolores' firing.

Halimacandy I like Nat too and just don't want her bad deeds to come back and bite her on the butt. Meche plays the high road with everyone. It's always about what She wants.

Spanish Student

Sangre

Halimacandy, you asked "are we wrapping up Sangre?" I don't think so, since I've read that Al otro lado del muro will follow Sangre and will start in March. If that's still the case, we've got at least a month and a half more of Ruthless Roberto to endure. But schedules do change.

Sangre

Spanish Student, thanks very much for the info about Wilmer's stealing Paloma's phone. IIRC, in the broadcast, neither the first name nor the last name of the owner was Paloma's, though the first name was similar. And the phone was reported stolen two years ago. I guess we'll see.

Where's everyone pls I need a recap of episode 33
Pretty pls😭😭🙏🙏🙏

Sangre

lets see what I remember,

Nat and Luis steal wine, replace Cris' wine with some of their own, Cris doesn't notice but Juanjo does. (while Anita keeps telling Luis how it is as Nat gives her odd looks)

Roberto steals the family jewels, not able to raise the $50K Wilmer wants in time, Roberto with the help of another guy take Meche's jewelry (worth $75K to $90K) and make it look like a robbery, Rob getting a pistol blow to the head for some realism, Cris wonders why they went past his stuff and the safe, Susan is suspicious of why Roberto never got a look at the robber.

Juanjo grabs Aurora for a kiss, which melts her, they were going for it when Sere shows up, later he tries to see her but runs into Cris, Juanjo tells him they love each other (yep, Juanjo the trouble maker) later Aurora meets with Juanjo, tells him it's over, done, finished, she won't hurt those around her for her own happiness, Juanjo steals another kiss, she melts, tells her to get her things, he'll pick her up and they will go far far away, China maybe (yep, Meche is right, Aurora goes bonkers when she is around him).

😂 😂
Thanks

Sangre

Thanks, deb, for the fine recap. You've covered the most important points succinctly and very well. Here are a few things I can add:

One is that Luis is very unhappy about Natalia's decision to use Cris's wine without telling/asking him. It's both illegal and dishonest. Anita, whom I've never liked, goes along readily with Natalia's plan. She also badmouths Juanjo, claiming that he's just jealous that Luis has created this very fine wine.

Juanjo doesn't explicitly confront Luis or Natalia about the fraud they're commiting, but he gives them both looks that speak volumes. He then goes home and tells Serena about the fraud. He's reluctant to accuse Natalia, who has been a mother to him for much of his life, but he also doesn't want to just go along with it and say nothing. [Natalia was hoping to keep the fraud a secret known only to herself, Luis, and Anita, but clearly that's now unlikely.]

Paloma comes to see Paco to tell him about Dolores' illegal treatment by Cris and Roberto. Paloma wants MAWA to back her up if she makes a denuncio against them. Paco suggests that Paloma start the book they're creating with Dolores' story and interview. Paloma thinks this is a great idea. Paco says he's not so sure, that when the book is published, Crisanto and Roberto will look very bad and will not be pleased.

Paco gets up to leave but his back hurts so much that he has to sit back down. Paloma says she learned about massages and offers to give one to Paco. She notes all kinds of knots in his back caused by stress. After the massage, he feels much better but is reluctant to get up (he's lying face down on the table). She finally asks, "Paco, are you having an erection?" [The scene shifts and we don't get an answer to her question, but I suspect we don't need one.]

As deb pointed out, Susan is suspicious of Roberto's account of the robbery. He claims he didn't see the robber's face, but when Susan tries to re-enact the point where Roberto is struck on the head, it seems clear that it could only have happened if he was facing the robber and at close distance. So why wouldn't he have seen the robber's face?

Aurora still hasn't learned not to let her cell phone out of her sight. Roberto gets hold of it, and while he has it, a message comes containing a copy of the video of Roberto tampering with the truck. Roberto deletes the video.

Sangre

I finally caught up with the episodes. Wow. Great comments and recaps by all.

Both Natalia and Crisanto suffer from the same debilitating bouts of stubborn, foolish pride. For all their successes, they are very insecure people. Cris surprisingly admitted to Leo that at times he still feels like a poor immigrant farm worker. And Natalia is a woman fighting for her equal place in a man's world. I especially dislike it when they take it out on their families. Let's hope they see the light before their zero sum game causes another tragedy.

Very disappointed with Aurora and Juanjo. Likely they will be endgame but don't make them cheaters.

Eye rolling at the Paloma and Paco massage stuff. She says you don't have to take your clothes off but he is shirtless in the next scene. Then he wouldn't/couldn't get up off the floor and Paloma calls it... Halimacandy, here's hoping that fine Jordan comes back to sweep Paloma away from this disaster.

I guess we are all enjoying Wilmer toying with Rob.

Okay so I just started watching The show 2 weeks ago and I like it. I especially like the acting, I think it’s good but Roberto’s facial expression is the main reason I watch the show...it cracks me up every time he’s blackmailed, all in all it’s a very good show

Sangre

Well I knew Juanjo was lying (although he may not have realized it) when he said he didn't want to hurt Serena again (believing he'd accidentally killing her fiancé). He was actually about to have sex with Aurora in his house. And now he's chasing after her. I'm not a fan when he's in a relationship. He's slick and self serving.

Roberto's been eyeing the Jewelry since the beginning. I think Susan needs more airtime so she can see that Rob's the common denominator in quite a few incidents.

Paloma boldly asked Paco if he had an erection. One more reason for porn-watching Paco to be attracted to her.

I'm Team Wilber until his luck runs out.

Spanish Student
