Mauricio arrives at the restaurant and demands to know what Fabian is doing there with Kika. Kika curses Fabian, who asks Mauricio to sit down and reveals that something did happen between him and Kika while advising that Mauricio not get back with her or accept her help, under any circumstances. Mauricio thinks Fabian did him a favor but Kika insists the what happened between her and Fabian was before they were formally going out. Either way, Mauricio is not getting back with her and wants her out of Logatoys too. Kika can’t fathom that Mauricio is interested in Renee and wanted to be like Santa Claus, paying for her tuition. Mauricio realizes that Kika told Renee about her master’s program, but he will wrong that right as well. He tells Fabian that they will talk later and leaves without saying goodbye to Kika because he must take care of Anifer. Kika curses Fabian again but Fabian doesn’t know who got off worse, her, Mauricio, or him. Kika doesn’t believe his fake contriteness and storms off.

At home, Anifer begs Renee to stay with her and study at the same time but Renee explains that her masters program is in the US. Anifer deduces that Renee fought with Mauricio again, and that is why she insists on leaving, but tells her to reconsider as Mauricio is a lot of things but he is an excellent father and loves her and Renee very much. Anifer asks Renee to admit her feelings but Renee asks her to stop insisting. After a moment, Anifer wonders what she will do when Maria comes for her, as she will miss Mauricio and Renee very much, but Renee asks her to not think about that for now. Anifer continues to tease Renee about her feelings for Mauricio as Renee asks her to stop.

Jorge goes to see Samuel in his room. Samuel explains that he can’t do homework because they don’t have WIFI and Jorge offers his cell phone’s hotspot, so Samuel can use it. Samuel thanks him and begins to use the cell as Jorge walks out of the room with Samuel’s. He looks through the cell phone and sees all the photos Samuel took of his bruises. He walks back inside the room and demands to know what they are about and if it has anything to do with Blue Shark. Samuel is quiet.

Neron, surrounded by his loved ones, including Renee and Anifer, tells them how happy he is to see them all. They cheer him on and Neron especially thanks Anifer, who is also recovering, for coming. Anifer asks Neron if he fell from a tree too but Neron explains that he danced too much, like an idiot, and got hurt. Flor then asks Anifer if she thought she was a flying squirrel, because she was climbing a very big tree, as Rafael walks in with food for Neron and Flor. Neron looks uncomfortable until Flor reveals that Rafael took care of Milady and Anifer while he was at the hospital. Neron thanks him for his help and then Rafael asks Renee to pass by his house later, as he has something to ask of her. Renee nods.

Mauricio goes to Tono’s house to pick up the giant stack of homework the teachers left for Anifer. Tono offers to help with anything he can and then Tono asks Mauricio if he can help him find out if Veronica is cheating on him with Sebastian. Mauricio suggests he ask Veronica personally but Tono tells him he has no proof and wouldn’t want to cause any problems with Veronica. Mauricio offers to ask Sebastian but warns Tono that he doesn’t always answer immediately. Tono thanks him and then asks about Logatoys. Mauricio confesses that things are not going well, as he has a lot of debts and will have to ask for money at various churches, but then gets a brilliant idea that will save his new line of toys and asks Tono for his help.

Jorge tells Samuel that he is waiting for an answer, but Samuel refuses to answer. Jorge demands he look at him and answer and Samuel reveals that everyone is doing it in school because it proves that you are a man and brave; he tells Jorge that he almost has completed all his challenges. Jorge tells him that he doesn’t have to do that, but Samuel is tired of everyone, including Jorge, thinking he is weak and stupid. Jorge reiterates that he doesn’t think those things about Samuel, but Samuel demands to know what happened with Dulce, as he is not a child. Jorge nods and explains that he didn’t hide the truth from him out of malice but because he is too young. Samuel wants to know the truth, no matter what, and accuses Jorge of preferring Lili and Baldo to him and Valentina because Yuriria was the love of his life. Jorge tells him that all his children are important to him, but Samuel accuses him of leaving him alone when he needed him the most. Jorge nods and hugs Samuel, tight, hoping to make the very difficult first step to repair their relationship. In the hallway, Lili, Baldo and Valentina listen in on their conversation, tears forming in their eyes.

Rafael brings Renee their rent in an envelope and she thanks them for always being on time. Rafael thanks her for being a good landlord and then asks why she looks so down. Renee states that things are difficult, especially in matter of the heart, and Rafael offers a friendly ear whenever she wants. Renee nods and admits that she is looking for a new place to live as she can’t live with Mauricio anymore. Rafael offers that she moves in with them, but Renee shakes her head. She then asks him about the offer he mentioned, and Rafael asks if she ever thought of selling the home. Renee states that she tried but the house is currently in probate, so Rafael offers to help her with the process because he and Rodrigo want to buy the house. Renee considers this.

In Miami, Charytin and Kika video chat about her relationship with Mauricio. Charytin tells her to give, as Mauricio will never be hers again, but Kika won’t take no for an answer and hangs up because she’s tired of Charytin’s face. Kika then posts a video to her fan page asking all her fans to please help her make Mauricio’s life impossible because he dumped her and she’s sad. She holds up a picture of Mauricio and then says goodbye to her fans for now. She then reiterates that Mauricio will suffer for dumping her a second time.

Mauricio and Tono go online to Kickstarter to execute his plan to ask for help online to complete his toy. The person who contributes the most funds will get a prize: Mauricio suggests a dinner with him is sufficient but Tono prefers a limited-edition version of the completed toy, certified by Logatoys. Mauricio can’t believe that would be better but agrees. Mauricio then asks Tono if he could work for Logatoys, off book and from home but with a small salary, and Tono immediately agrees and Mauricio shakes his hand as they are partners.

That night, Mauricio runs into Renee in the living room and asks her why she insists on moving out, especially because it’s only to punish him and has no place to stay, but Renee insists that she will be moving back to her house and asks him not to worry about her masters program as she will take care of everything on her own, as he is not as mature as she thought. She then asks him not to worry about Anifer, as she will still take care of her, and storms off. Mauricio shakes his head, frustrated.

At home, Tono combs their dog’s hair as Veronica shows him all the gifts she brought for their kids. Tono seems annoyed and bored as Veronica tries to wake the kids up to show them their gifts but Tono insists she wait till morning. Veronica agrees but she sad about how much time she’s missing with them. She then smiles and asks Tono to open his gift, but he insists that he’s busy. Veronica asks him not to be mean and grabs the dog from Tono before giving him his gift. He opens the bag to find new cufflinks and a tie clip, which Veronica thinks will look great on him, but Tono reminds her that he doesn’t have a job, so he doesn’t use those things anymore. Veronica asks why he seems so down and angry lately but Tono doesn’t want to talk about it right now. Veronica insists they talk and Tono confesses that he’s angry about how much time she spends with Sebastian. Veronica can’t believe he would think so little of her but Tono reminds her that she spends all her time with Sebastian. Veronica explains that she is just working, nothing else, and she doesn’t do it because she wants to but because she must. She asks him to believe her and Tono states that he does but Veronica wonders why he still looks angry. Tono confesses that he is insecure because he doesn’t trust Sebastian, so Veronica reveals that she will be making her next trips solo, as Sebastian is not required, and he can do whatever he wants. She storms off to sleep.

Mauricio goes to see Anifer in her room, dejected, and Anifer knows that he fought with Renee, again, and asks him to sit down. She asks him why he treats her this way and Mauricio explains that Renee deserves someone better than him. Anifer thinks he’s great but Mauricio thinks Renee and Kika would say otherwise. Anifer asks if he is going to get back with Kika but Mauricio shakes his head. With some luck, Kika will also be out of Logatoys soon.

Days later, Kika arrives at Logatoys but find her entrance blocked by security guys. She asks them to move but Gladys comes out and explains that they received a memo and she’s banded from the premises. Kika threatens to call her Miami lawyers if they don’t move but Jorge comes out then and states that, a few minutes ago, her full investment was returned, and she is not longer an associate at Logatoys. Kika can’t believe she’s been ousted this way, like a maid, but Jorge reiterates that she’s out and everything is perfectly legal, so she can go. Kika threatens to get naked and accuses them of rape if they don’t move but Jorge closes her jacket as Kika demands to see Mauricio. Jorge whispers that she’s being ridiculous and suggests she leave but Kika demands they kick her out of Logatoys, if they can. The security guards try to use their weapons, but Jorge suggests other methods. He then carries Kika over his shoulder and walks her to her car as the guards film the whole spectacle.

At Anifer’s school, she and Mauricio meet with Laura, who is happy to see Anifer is back and will be removing her leg cast tomorrow. Mauricio tells her to not climb any more trees and Laura promises to take care of her. Mauricio laughs because he would’ve tried to be absent more days in his time though Laura shakes her head, as he is sending the wrong message. Mauricio shuts up and instructs Anifer to study hard and to be ready when school lets out because he is picking her up. After kissing Anifer goodbye, he leaves.

Outside the school, Tono wrestles his own children into the school as Yolanda comes out and kisses him hello. She wonders why he has been hiding from her but Tono insists he is not, he’s just busy with the kids and his freelance job. She tries to approach him but Tono moves back as Yolanda asks about his marriage. Tono explains that veronica is busy with work, but everything is going well. Yolanda then tells him that they have another mom meeting tomorrow, at the same restaurant, and hopes he can make it as she doesn’t have a lot of friends and considers him a good one. Tono tells him he will try but can’t promises anything.

Later, Renee looks through her mother’s old documents, to see if she can find anything to help with the probate, as Rafael asks her how she feels. Renee confesses that she feels very lonely lately, especially because she doesn’t have a father and lost her mother. She thinks it would be great to have a father, even one who left her like he did, but reminds herself that she shouldn’t dwell on the past. Rafael wonders if she should look for him but Renee shakes her head and continues to loo through the documents. She finds a box she didn’t pack, full of letters, from a man named Angel Andres, her father. Renee finds it strange that her father wrote Catalina, but Rafael thinks she should open them and see if they can find out more information about him. Renee considers this and opens one as Rafael encourages her with a smile.

Over breakfast, Flor asks Neron to be careful, as she, Milady and his children need him. She asks him to go do the tests the doctor suggested, much to his chagrin, and he says goodbye to Milady as Flor follows him out the door to make sure he goes.

At Logatoys, Mauricio meets with Jorge, who explains that they have no new information about assembly line malfunction, even though the guilty party did so in broad daylight. Mauricio suggests they asks a professional for help as Falcon comes in and asks if Kika is out of the company. Mauricio confirms she is, but Falcon wonders how he will repay him, now that he lost Kika’s money. Mauricio insists that he will repay him, and Falcon then asks if they are going to abort the launch of the new toy. Mauricio shakes his head, confident that it will be in toy stores soon, but Falcon warns him to repay him soon or else. He storms out as Jorge reminds Mauricio of his name though Mauricio reminds him that the man is named Falcon and it’s rude to get people’s names wrong. Jorge nods and leaves as Mauricio thinks Jorge Turrubiates is a great asset to the company though he never sees him.

In her suite, Kika paces in her hotel room as she chats with Charytin, frustrated that Mauricio kicked her out of Logatoys the way he did. Charytin asks her to come back to Miami, as their initial plan has failed and she’s making a full of herself, but Kika vows to destroy Mauricio however she can, and hit him where it hurts. She then tells herself that Mauricio does not deserve her and puts a picture she has of him face down.

Neron meets with his doctor and asks why he must run more tests, as eh thought he was fine, but the doctor explains that something worries him about his initial tests and he would like to do more. Neron looks worried.

As Renee reads her father’s letters, Rafael brings her a soda and she reads a portion of Angel’s letter. Renee reveals that the letters tell a very different story than what her mother always told her. Catalina said her father had abandoned them but, if the letters are true, then Catalina ran away from Angel and took Renee with her. Renee wonders why he mother would lie.

In Mauricio’s office, he and Tono put their Kickstarted campaign online and they immediately receive messages from Kika’s fan club, starting that no one help them. Mauricio begs Tono to help him send them messages but Tono doesn’t know how either.

Kika arrives at Anifer’s school and asks her teacher for permission to talk to Anifer because she wants to say goodbye now that she and Mauricio are through because she loved the little “blessing” so much. The teacher goes to talk to an administrator, to make sure it’s okay, but Kika sees Anifer in the playground, and calls out to her. Anifer cringes visibly when she sees her.

Renee reads more of letters but becomes more upset. Rafael asks her what is wrong, and Renee can’t fathom how much love Angel had for Catalina and how much he tried to be with her and Renee, but Catalina never accepted him. Renee is unsure of what exactly happened, because none of the letters acknowledge that Angel knew Catalina was pregnant, and Renee assumes he never knew. Rafael is shocked.

Kika sits down on a bench by the playground with Anifer and asks her if she loves her father. Anifer tells her she does, a lot, and Kika reveals that she knows her whole story with Mauricio, including how she interrupted his wedding. Anifer also loves her mother a lot and will ask her to please stay to live with her and Mauricio in Mexico City instead of going back to their town. Kika smiles and nods but wonders if she’s sure Mauricio loves her; Anifer is more than sure because he always says it. Kika is not sure though because someone who loves you never lies or betrays you. Anifer assumes she’s talking about her relationship with Mauricio but Kika shakes her head and explains that she left Mauricio because she could never be with such a cruel man, one who lies. Anifer wants to leave, as she can’t stand anyone talking bad about her father, but Kika holds her back and states that she pities all the time she will have to spend with such a cruel man, one who lied about Maria. Anifer is confused so Kika reveals that Maria is never coming back for her because she is dead. Anifer’s eyes begin to fill with tears…
