HALIMACANDY: Looks like Tilapia will kill several of his law enforcement colleagues tonight.
Si, Novelera. And now that ALL of Ernesto's family members are together, including Sofia...all of them innocent of corruption ... I wouldn't be surprised if he's forced to work with Interpol in order to save his family. Sofia/Alejandra and Alo are already at risk and Julian's coverups could come back to haunt him. I'm guessing that is why Patrick twice noticed Ernesto's reluctance / hesitancy during his meeting with Cummings and Paula (unbeknownst to the distracted members of the love triangle). At least Patrick is thinking clearly. Its time to move the story forward. Vicentito is back and that usually means someone will end up dead, kidnapped and/or tortured.

I have my monthly rotating dinner with four good friends tonight. We meet at 6:30 and often don't say good night until 10:30.
This is to say the recap will be late. I expect it won't be up until midnight or even later CA time. I'm expecting some interesting developments, so I do plan to write a recap. I'm a night owl, so the late hour is not a problem for me.

novelera, your recaps are always worth waiting for! (I might note, too, that I just about always post my recaps after midnight California time.)
HALIMACANDY: I do not see Olivia making it alive if Roxana orders Tilapia to kill Olivia & the rest of the law enforcement colleagues of Alex.
Spanish Student: Ernesto will NEVER work with Interpol since his ambitions are to become President of the United Mexican States.
STEVE:
I DOUBT DANIEL will kill his collegues... he has to front for Roxy.. he knows he is under surveillance!!!
save the body count foR this week .. its gonna get deadly..say goodbye to Peunzo!!!
Halimacandy, loved your recap, hilarious! This show is sometimes so funny to me. Everybody is ultraconfident and ultrastupid at the same time! Zoraida, for example. Or Guillotina (who currently is not dead, but the feds are pretending he is - yeah, that's really gonna keep working...). Let's think about how well Tilapia has done his mission. He's killed three people, almost killed a fourth, Madre. He's fallen in love with Roxy. And how much info has he gotten out of Roxy in 3 months or so? Zip!! Good job, Eddie. Luis is another one who's incredibly confident, but incredibly stupid. I start laughing every time I see one of his shirts! Then you have the characters who are just plain stupid, like Cordero, Lula, and about 6 characters that are currently dead. I also like the realism, such as Roxy takes off her bra to have sex, but when she wakes up, it's back on. Yes, I know the censors, but it just struck me as funny. Nemesio is the funniest of all. He's so EARNEST, I think he's trying to be menacing, but I just crack up whenever he gets that scowl on his face. And one last thing. Roxy has been having lots of hot sex with Tilapia. But did she like, forget that she's ENGAGED? Whoops!
Hombre: I'm looking forward to seeing Federic Montalvo's reaction when he finds out what Roxana & Tilapa were doing...
I know that Guillotina is NOT dead. He's out for revenge as well.
HALIMACANDY: Tilapia will likely kill what's her face (who's been working with Olivia, Alex & Co.,)
wow,
Daniel comes clean with Roxy, she lowers the gun, and as they leave the hotel she gives it to him, kill those people in that car that are watching us, he does, wait another car pulls up first, he drops to the ground, and they riddle that car with bullets, killing Silvia and another, Roxy then pulls up and opens the door, is he coming with her, his choice, he gets in, hmm, the gun she gave him had no bullets.
Alex gets Montalvo to talk, some, he knows he's dead if he goes back to Mexico, he is the puppet, he gives a little history on Roxy, her different names and places she was schooled, also, she is the only one that talks to the Professor.
turning Montalvo over to the FBI they head for home, wait, Puenzo pulls his gun on Alex, he has to kill him, Alex gives him 2 choices, kill me and Buitre kills your family, or we go rescue them, Puenzo lowers the gun.
Daniel meets Roxy's dad, Nemesio, as they go to rest Luis adds I don't trust him, because of how he is dressed.
Alex back in Mexico gives an all hands to researching Roxy's past, then he and Puenzo check out the rescue, they'll wait for dark, but Alex pries out some details from Puenzo, Buitre has planted a bomb in the old folks home next door triggered by his cell phone, Alex doesn't like how Puenzo was going to sacrifice all those people (would he like that Fermin is his cousin?).
Daniel is up before Roxy and goes for a walk with Nemesio, and we get some story, first off all of the guys working for him are his kids, except Roxy is really, he gets them 8 to 10 years old, pays their parents, trains them on a farm up the road, they work for him for 20 years and leave rich, yes, even Luis.
also, way back when he had Roxy, he was poor, only a couple of friends Guillotina was one (Sanson the other ??), he got in the coke business and in 3 years had a ton of money, decided to start his own cartel.
Nemesio in his quiet manner has let Daniel know, that he knows, one wrong move...
meanwhile, Madre is alive, and Eladia is watching over her new boss.
how smart is Roxy, she knows from Guillotina that Nemesio is not her dad, that he had her parents murdered, so now she has her own protector, oh and she calls the General, business, lets Daniel know they will be traveling.
Rodrigo is again telling Charlie in the waiting room of the barrio clinic that Charlie will live a long time. Charlie keeps protesting and when they take Rodrigo into the operating room, he calls Max.
Ernesto thanks Alejandra for smoothing over Alo’s goth arrival by saying that she liked it.
Alo drags Karina into the Living Room, smiling widely, and telling Karina that this is her not-so-bad dad. He brings up the Mexican consulate being about to set up some sort of scholarship program for Dreamers, and that she’d be an excellent candidate.
Outside Lorena is trying to talk to Senator Slimy, who is not so interested in adult women. He’s trying to get away from her when she brings up her divorce and her two daughters, aged 8 and 10. [Novelera wants to jump through her TV as he drools over the pictures of Lorena’s supposed children on her phone.]
Patrick and Richard say that the swine took the bait. What they need is the day and hour of embarkation. [Sounds like they’re arriving by boat.]
Lorena is quite nasty with Sofía. She tells her she must be enjoying herself playing an undercover. Lorena says she doesn’t know quite yet what her game is, but she’s going to unmask her.
Tomás brings Frida flowers at Casa Mark. She has gone downstairs to change, and they get a bit hot and heavy in front of a mirrored wall. Face like a thundercloud, Johnnny watches from the stairs.
Ernesto has everyone singing Happy Birthday to Alo. [Yikes! Gabriel can’t carry a tune in a bucket!] After the singing, Alo wants a family photo with Karina, Julian, her father, and Margarita. She wants Alejandra in the picture also and asks Paula to take the picture because she’s not a part of the family.
Eliza discovers Karina is out and has left a lot of her clothes strewn around. She finds the folder with university brochures and a business card of Ernesto Martinez.
Julián has Karina in some room and is teasing her about when she had fat feet as a little girl. [I had forgotten he knew her as a child in Puebla. But he was pretending to be "Julius" up until he was revealed at the birthday party.]
Paula rages at Ernesto for what Alo did in excluding her. She says Alo will respect her, or she’ll put her in her place. Ernesto gives her a Gorgon stare and tells her she’s not Alo’s mother, nor the woman of the house. Paula loses control and says that he wants to have Alejandra and his lost daughter together in his house. He grins at her and says something to the effect that Ale is much better than her. Slap! She tells him he can run his political games and his business on his own. She is quitting! He grabs her by the arm, tells her she’s not going anywhere; and, the next time she touches his face, he’ll kill her.
Julián tries to convince Karina to come to his bedroom while everyone is at the party. Karina is obviously not ready. She tells him she needs to get home.
Eliza is in the bakery kitchen telling Andrés that she suspects Karina has gone to the party. Andrés offers to fix dinner for them. Eliza: Como dice mi mamá, las penas con pan son menos. (Food can be a remedy for feeling badly.) They agree to talk about anything except their children.
In Tijuana, Carmen is helping Raquel wrap her breasts to help with the discomfort from stopping nursing. Raquel is miserable. Carmen reminds her that she herself had 10 years away from her grandchildren. She wants Raquel not to lose hope. La vida nos da palos; a pedradas le respondemos. (Life beats us with a stick and we throw back stones.)
Rodrigo starts screaming when they begin to give him the anesthetic. Charlie tries to make them stop, but some orderly stops him.
Lorena asks Senator Slimy for un aventón (a lift) to her hotel, using her fictitious daughters as bait.
Alo and Margarita are having lemonade in the kitchen. The writers decided they needed to go to the storeroom for more, giving Paula a chance to put some drops in Alo’s drink
Johnny tells Frida he saw her and Tomás and was tempted to join in, but he restrained himself. But she needs to do the same to him in front of the same mirrored wall.
Max shows up at the clinic calling out for Charlie. He tries to go into the operating room. J-Low tells the doc to keep going with the procedure. She tells Max that Rodrigo is saving your son’s life. Do you want them to stop? Max just stands there.
Alejandra has gone to Ernesto’s bedroom and is trying to open the briefcase, trying out some significant dates to open the combination. When Ernesto comes in, she tells him she’s been waiting for him. He’s all over it. But she pretends to have never been unfaithful and starts trying to get out of the bedroom.
At Lorena’s supposed hotel room, she tells Slimy that her husband must have come to take the girls out. She’s buttering him up and feeding him liquor. He gets a call about the arrival of the girls: pier 18 at noon.
Eliza and Andrés have a fun time over dinner and wine in the bakery kitchen. He’s talking about his youth. ¡Me agarra con la chela en la mano! (He was caught with a beer in his hand.) He says his mother almost believed the story he made up about a teacher asking him to calculate the number of bubbles per cubic centimeter. Then: la chancla voladora (flying sandal) appeared. He and his siblings would run through the house and she’d hit them right in the head with that sandal. She was a ninja!
Max rushes into the operating room just when the doctor is inserting something into Rodrigo’s back. He’s warned it’s a delicate moment. He leaves. Jennifer comes out and tells Max that the procedure is finished. He pushes past her and goes to comfort Rodrigo. He begs his pardon and, when the doctor says something about prescriptions, Max goes for him and begins beating on him, threatening him with jail. He looks at Jennifer as if she’s a bug on the floor, asking how she could stoop so low.
Julián shows up in Karina’s bedroom window, asking to be let in. [I can’t stand the thought of his bedding her!]
Jennifer tells Max that Eliza would have let Charlie die. Max says that Eliza has a huge heart, not like … Just then Eliza calls Max. Jennifer warns him to be careful. After all, he didn’t do anything to stop it.
Novelera: OMG! Poor Rodrigo :(
Deadbeat Max is officially COMPLICIT in what happened to Rodrigo.
Julian is going to eventually rape Karina at some point.
"ENEMIGO":
HALIMACANDY: RIP Silvia :(
Poor girl never had a chance.
Hombre: Roxana is now officially a COP KILLER!
Great recap Novelera.
Well...we finally got to the illegal procedure and it was hard to watch. With the size of the needle and the duration of Rod's screams...I didn't think they gave him anything for pain. As a matter of fact, I was expecting them to put him out for the procedure but he appeared to be awake for the whole ordeal. And since they appeared to be going into his spine, I was wondering if his resistance would cause them to hit a nerve or something. It was so underhanded and unethical ....and unnecessary how this played out. Head's should roll for this. And how about the worker/aids...restraining Charlie from leaving. Where did those folks come from. Did Jen pay them ...they seemed shady.
And Max, the forever coward. I know there was nothing he could do in the middle of the procedure but once again, he let Jen lie and bully him about why she did this.
I know Rod wanted to do this...and Eliza likely would have said yes after learning the facts. But I can't see her accepting how this went down....especially after learning the facts about the risks.
Jen is horrible person and mom...having feelings for no one but herself. Good thing now is that she won't be able to fool Max about Charlie's prognosis any longer....but then again....he's just as stupid as Joel....so maybe she can.
Nett
Many thanks, novelera, for this very helpful recap. I greatly appreciated the Spanish you included. There were scenes where the Spanish went right by me, especially the conversation between Eliza and Andrés over dinner.
Well, it looks as if Lorena has gotten the info about where and when the "bottles of young tequila" will arrive. As a result, she'll probably get praise from the boys, whereas what she should get is dismissal from Interpol for being so incredibly unprofessional in her dealing with Sofía.
I know that Ernesto threatened to kill Paula if she ever touched his face again, but that seems like a pretty empty threat to me. I doubt that he has what it takes to kill her, either emotionally or physically (especially in his almost perpetually drunken state). And most of the Bad Guys (Senator Slimy, Vincentito, Pastrana) would almost surely back Paula. I have absolutely no sympathy for Paula, but given Ernesto's lack of appreciation for her and the unlikelihood that he'd be elected President of Mexico, I don't see why she doesn't fulfill her threat to quit. I guess the answer is that she'd get more pleasure by sticking around long enough to gradually kill off Alo and Alejandra, as she did years earlier with Ernesto's first wife. (Or will she simply hand over a drugged and helpless Alo to Senator Slimy?)
J-Lower-Than-Lowest may threaten Max, but it seems that he now has the upper hand. He never gave his consent to this operation, it was done in an inappropriate venue, he could indeed make serious legal trouble for the doctor and for Jennifer. Yes, there is the bigamy problem, and that may be enough to stop him, but... Perhaps Nett has it right in her comment above: Max is "just as stupid as Joel."
If Max loved Rodrigo as much as Charlie, he would take advantage of this opportunity to use this against Jennifer, legally and with Eliza. Afterall, she illegally jeopardized the health/life of his youngest boy and Eliza's confidence. Clearly if he keeps this to himself it'll be the end of his relationship with Eliza...which works for me.. Shame he interrupted Steve before he could tell her what Jen was up to.
Spanish Student
thanks so much for your recap novelera !!! you really make watching this novela all the more fun.
whew! the operation, this is what happened,
"General anesthesia, which induced sleep, is used for this procedure." (nope)
"When you are taken into the operating room, you will be placed on your stomach. A special needle is placed through the skin into the marrow cavity of the hipbone, where stem cells and blood are aspirated. Two or three skin punctures are made on each rear hipbone. Although the punctures will not show, there are bone punctures underneath the skin."
"About 1 to 2 quarts of bone marrow are collected during the harvest procedure. Although this might sound like a large amount, it is only about 5 percent of your total marrow cells. Collection generally takes about an hour, but each individual donation varies."
"In addition to stem cells, many red blood cells also are harvested. These will be given back to you in the recovery room through your IV."
https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/treatments/10866-bone-marrow-harvest-procedure/procedure-details
I agree with Nett, "Head's should roll for this."
and why was Sofia fumbling with the briefcase locks, Joel already got that far.
I think we saw Ernesto's other side when he threatened Paula.
seems like someone should be following the ex-Senator around with some of those disinfectant wipes.
Deb: I believe this all but guaranteed Eliza & Andres could be together in the end.... maybe!
Spanish Student: My anger at watching poor Rodrigo getting the illegal procedure increased as Deadbeat Max still did nothing!
WTH is Steven ? Does he know about this ? I think Charles is going to open his mouth to Eliza at some point.
Who on this novela can be redeemed?
Ernesto,
just because he is now making niece with Karina, but berating Julian all the time while still sleeping with his sidekick Paula, and still trafficking in human slavery even though he has a daughter their age.
Max,
the everlasting cowardly shithead to boot is doomed to Hell. He just stood by and did nothing, as always. A man of no scruples, and no empathy for others. I don't think they stuck the needle into Rodrigo’s back until after Max left the filthy room, which is why I hate him more.
Steve,
For not telling Max what Jennifer was planning even though he knew about it up front. And professes his love for Eliza, but doesn't stand up and protect the child of his dreams. He knew exactly what Jennifer was up to, even going to a cheesy, dirty clinic.
Paula,
Who for narcissistic love put a young boy in jeopardy of losing his life, if not permanently hindered.
Cummings,
He is going to Hell no matter what.
Jennifer,
She be the first one to ride the directly to Hell. No stopovers.
Victoria: Tomorrow is the exclusive at 7:57 PM CST.
The premiere will be May 8th.
Victoria: You might want to put Lorena on the list too because her hostility towards Sofia will likely result in sabotaging the mission & she'll blow Sofia out of the water, putting her in the crosshairs of Cummings, Paula, Pastrana & Co.,
Julian, Frida & the corrupt Doctor should be on the Karma List too.
Thanks for the kind remarks. And thanks a million, deb, for the detailed description of how bone marrow extraction is done. And, yes, why didn't they give Rodrigo complete anesthesia?
Well, at least Jennifer can't put off Max divorcing her by playing the dying Charlie card any more. I was pretty tired when I wrote the recap, but I wish I'd had the time to write the whole conversation between she and Max. Eyes blazing she insisted that Eliza would have let Charlie die and that her underhanded way was the only way to get it done.
I have mixed feelings. What Jennifer did was awful, and Max will hate her forever for it. However, Charlie is an adorable child who I don't want to see die.
So, is Rodrigo supposed to go home after this "procedure" and act like nothing happened?
I'm pretty sure the Interpol folks are going to be able to rescue the little girls from whatever ship they're supposedly coming in on. I can't imagine they're going to just let those girls be sold off to pedophiles. I'm pretty sure also that saving the girls will not result in grabbing up Cummings and/or Ernesto. It feels too soon for the anvil to hit them. But they might get Vincentito (yay!).
Max did try to interrupt the procedure once the doctor had inserted something into Rodrigo's back. I had the impression that, at that point, any movement on Rod's part could have harmed him even more than continuing.
I agree with whoever said: Why would Mauricio, the doctor, care if Jennifer sent his sex tape to the police? They might pass it around the precinct, but extra-marital sex is of no interest to the police. But the plan all along was for the donation to take place.
I guess they take the bone marrow and then later on use it for the person receiving it. I was sort of expecting they'd take it from one and immediately give it to another. But I did know someone who had a bone marrow transplant for leukemia. She had a complete recovery. But, at least 20 years ago, she had some procedure to keep her immune system from rejecting the donation. This meant that she had to be isolated and in a pretty sterile environment until the thing "took". Ancient history medicine, doubtless.
I can't stand to see brave, plucky Alondra begin to show signs of whatever Paula is dosing her with.
novelera, I too am wondering about what happens now. The actual transplant has yet to take place, and no one wants to jeopardize that, but it's hard to believe that Rod won't say anything to Eliza. Even if he tries not to, Eliza will certainly sense that something is very wrong and will press Rod to tell her. Moreover, wouldn't Max say something?
As for Alo, I'm hoping that someone will see that she's not herself and will seek medical help. Perhaps Eliza will insist that Alo return to live with her. Or perhaps Margarita will recognize a similarity between what happened to Ernesto's first wife and the symptoms that Alo may show. Perhaps Margarita will say something to Julián about this. One good thing about Telemundo novelas is that often problems are resolved much more quickly than on the Univisión novelas I remember.
hmm,
"A stem cell transplant is usually done after chemotherapy and radiation is complete. The stem cells are delivered into your bloodstream usually through a tube called a central venous catheter. The process is similar to getting a blood transfusion. The stem cells travel through the blood into the bone marrow. Most times, no surgery is needed."

What is on Sunday at 7:57pm and premieres on May 8?
I ran through the TV guide but couldn't tell.
LADO
I'm definitely putting Lorena on my list. I'd like to know what everybody is now thinking about who or whom are the spies.
Are you keeping tally of the bodies?
Juanita, why do you think Alo is acting differently? Are you thinking that Alo might start having nervous problems or psychiatric disorders, as a result of whatever Paula has started feeding her? Or did I miss something?
Do we know for a fact that Paula killed Ernesto's first wife to get her out of the way and make room for a more acceptable political wife.
I hope Max's head rolls for his ineptitude in controlling his crazy bigamist wife. And Steve also. The three of them deserve a reservation in Hell.
Victoria, we haven't seen Alo behave differently. Only last episode did she ingest any of Paula's medicine. I believe what Juanita meant was that perhaps, if Alo would begin to behave oddly, Margarita might remember similar behavior from Claudia, Ernesto's first wife and intervene.
Paula definitely drugged Claudia to bring on symptoms of mental illness. Ernesto believed she'd gone crazy, and I don't think he had anything to do with what happened to her.
I don't remember their saying that Paula actually finished her off, but I think she died at home. There was some mention of her screaming she didn't want to go to an institution. And, IIRC, there was a flashback of Ernesto crying at her death bed. Paula could have increased the dosage enough to finally finish her off, but I don't think it's been said explicitly yet.
Speaking of Paula, I distinctly remember her renting an apartment soon after she and Ernesto came up from Mexico. But now she's at his house 24-7, from what I can see.
I also wanted to reach Senator Slimy through my t.v screen and beat the c--p out of him. He is just the worst. I had the same reaction when I saw him with his granddaughter. She is about 6 years old, and considering that he likes to prey on children aged 7-10, I am very concerned for the wellbeing of that little one.
However, I don't understand what Lorena's end game was with bringing Slimy to her hotel room. I doubt she would be authorized to actually use children to try to catch Slimy in the act. So what was the point of showing him the photos and bringing him to the hotel? Granted, she managed to hear an important snippet of information that way, but it was by pure luck.
I couldn't believe when that doctor actually harvested Rodrigo's bone marrow under such circumstances. No doctor in the world would agree to something that risky just to avoid having a sex tape seen by his wife. As I said before, the only thing he stood to lose if Jennifer made public his sex tape was his marriage (while adultery is criminalized in certain states, the latest prosecutions date to the eighties (if I am not mistaken) and it is not criminalized in California). Operating on a 10 year old minor without parental consent and without anesthesia in a back alley clinic, he would lose everything: his license, his freedom and no doubt his wife, because his infidelity would come up during the investigation. So, there was absolutely no reason for him to cave to Jennifer's blackmail. Moreover, how could he believe that Max, a parent that was doing everything for Charlie and going to all the appointments, would suddenly become disinterested in his son's fate and refuse to issue his consent for a lifesaving bone marrow transplant. He should have deduced that Jennifer is hiding something from him regarding Max, and should have threatened Jennifer with informing him of her plans regarding Rodrigo.

Everyone who failed to prevent this situation from happening should go to jail, and this includes Steve and Max.
Steve, as a friend and as a lawyer, had a duty to reveal to Eliza that Jennifer is about to commit a crime regarding her child.
By the way, what was done to Rodrigo is child abuse, and though in California only professionals specified in Penal Code § 11165 are required to report child abuse, and members of the public are only encouraged (but not obliged) to report, I expected from Steve the human rights lawyer to have the moral strength to either inform Eliza about the situation and let her handle it or to actually report it to the police, even if he doesn't have to.
In any case, I lost all respect I had for Steve for not informing anyone of Jennifer's batsh-t crazy plan.
Irene
Victoria: With Vicente & Co., back, it's likely we're going to see the Body Count increase soon.
What did Paula put in Alondra's drink ?
Novelera: Sounds like Alondra will NOT be long for this world if Paula keeps upping the ante.
I seriously doubt Magarita will be around down the road either.
Irene: Don't worry. Karma will start singing & bite Steven, J-Low, Deadbeat Max & the corrupt Doctor.
Looks like Andres just got Eliza handed to him on a silver platter!
The moment he saw his son being operated upon without parental consent and without anesthesia, he should have stopped it, by calling the police (and getting an ambulance for Rodrigo).By not calling the police and letting the operation proceed (knowing full well that his child is in danger and in a lot of pain) he can be considered an accomplice.
In any case, if he is going to hide Rodrigo's operation from Eliza (which I am almost certain he will), he definitely can be charged with being an accessory after the fact (by helping conceal a crime already committed).
I don't know why would he let that doctor to proceed torturing Rodrigo, but he is responsible for whatever happens to that child. He could have put a stop to it, called an ambulance and then begged Eliza to let Rodrigo donate bone marrow in a sterile hospital and under an anesthesia, but he didn't, so whoever said that Charlie is more important to him than Rodrigo is right. Rodrigo could have been crippled by this surgery or left with a life-threatening infection. And what about the massive psychological damage that was done to him by having to suffer such pain at the age of 10? Adults that woke up during the surgery and felt being cut were psychologically damaged for life, suffering crippling PTSD, and it must be much worse for a child.
There is a reason why this procedure is done under general anesthesia.
Irene
Okay, we now know one thing - Roxy is engaged to Federico in name only - so it sort of does make sense that she can be in love with Tilapia, who is now Daniel again. How convenient that he didn't have to kill Silvia, as the other guys came roaring up to do it. Note, Roxy did not actually kill a cop, either, her rescuers did it. I still don't understand why we haven't seen much of the Oscuros lately, Puenzo has no contact with them? And fortunately the writers forgot all about Lula (for now). Yes, Guillotina is alive, because Daniel purposely didn't cut deep enough, precisely following Alex's instructions, "tell him this is from the Ferrer family", because Alex wants to do the final blow. But this is risky, since Alex is involved with 2 or 3 other storylines, and you can't just leave Guillotina sitting there with Eladia. Nemesio thinks Guillotina is dead, wonder if those two will meet in the last few episodes.
BTW, I still think Daniel is loyal to the cops. Yes, he loves Roxy, but when push comes to shove, I think he'll back Alex.
I think Federico said Roxy's first name was Andrea, but since Alex didn't flinch, maybe that wasn't the real name of his little sister. Oh, and one more thing. In most telenovelas, siblings have a supernatural connection - if one gets hurt, the other feels a pain in his stomach, or gets dizzy. How come Alex and Roxy aren't getting at least some vibes from each other? I think I'd recognize my sister even if we got separated when she was 4 and I was 8, they were so close, isn't there some cosmic connection? I wonder if they'll find out in the last few episodes of what we assume is Season One.
Hombre, what a nifty little summary!
I think Roxana's birth name is Adelaida Ferrer.
also I think Lulu stepped down when she saw first hand Alejandro's anguish at not being able to save Sergio, who was a friend to both of them.
Tilapia/Daniel wouldn't have killed Silvia because later in the car he checked the gun Roxy gave him, no bullets, but he passed the test.
interesting that Roxy in the middle of all this death and destruction, walks away clean, and she hasn't physically done anything bad, right?
and the angle that she is the only one that talks to the Professor (which may be her) and tells Nemesio what to do, I'd like to know how that came about.
it sounds like they are off to see the General.
Deb: The fact is that Silvia's law enforcement colleagues are going to up the ante in stopping Roxana & Daniel one way or another.
Does Federico know that Roxana cheated on him ?
Big question is whether we'll see Puenzo getting his Karma soon ?
Why wasn't Max ever at Charlie's checkups and doctor conferences? This guy is a total douchebag and a COWARD
How painful it is to see Eliza's kids get seduced by their own father?
I beg the writers put an end to him quickly.
Urban and others
You guys come through all the time, you have me in awe of your talents and dedication.
