Episode 8, Part 1: Run, Castor, Run!

As Castor runs away from the casino probably leaving a stinky trail, JP and his team raid Castor’s office and find nothing but the bullet-mic in a drink. Meanwhile, Norman picks up Castor and they discuss who may have bugged the office. Castor doesn’t think it was JP or Bella-Carolina. Just then, Castor gets a message that the truck full of money was hijacked and they freak out.

At Castor’s suite, Bella finds a note from Castor. He apologizes for standing her up, but he will be looking forward to seeing her at another time.

Weeks Later

The three Mexateers (Bella, Pene, and Mike) train in their “Comeback Gym.” Later, Bella looks at her phone and is frustrated that Castor hasn’t made contact with her, so she tries to call him, but gets a “Not in Service Area” recording. Meanwhile, JP listens as she makes the call. Felipe and Simón are worried that JP is obsessed with Bella, but JP insists that Bella is Carolina and that she is out for revenge.

At Culiacán, Sinaloa, Castor now thinks it was JP who bugged his office. Norman is still suspicious of Carolina, but Castor knows it wasn’t her—she is just interested in him; and he can call her whenever he wants.

At the gym, Bella watches the video again—it reminds her of what she has to do. She tells Pene that Castor has to be the first one she goes after; then she will go after Norman. Bella then comments that she is tired of waiting for Castor to call her; she will find a way to make him know that she is looking for her.

Bella-Carolina arrives at the casino again. As she walks around, Felipe is looking around, too, trying to see if he can spot Bella or Castor. After he calls JP and tells him that neither of them are there, Bella swanks over to the guard and flirts with him as she tells him to tell his boss to call her.

Castor calls Emi who complains because he hasn’t been around. After Castor tells her that he is in hiding because of her bro, Emi tells him that her friends keep asking her for the pink stuff. Castor lets her know that he has dropped that business. He can tell one of his buddies to contact her, but he needs her to do something for him in return.

Felipe and Simon are at the agency discussing how JP is obsessed with Bella. They decide to get into JP’s computer. As they do, they see an email regarding Bella that just came in.

JP and his gf are getting it on. Too bad for her, JP is actually imagining that it’s Bella he is with. Just then, Felipe calls JP and tells him that a message arrived…probably from Castro to Bella. JP then quickly gets dressed to go to the office leaving his gf all hot and bothered. Meanwhile, Bella sees the message and is very happy that her trip to the casino worked.

JP is now at the office. He is sure that Bella is after Castor; so they have to do something right away. He tells Felipe that if Bella responds to Castor, to let him know.

JP goes to see Bella at her home. He questions her about what her plans are; so she tells him that she is dedicating herself to her gym and finding clients. He also asks about her friends, so she invites him to go get info from them if he wants. After Bella tells him she is going inside because he is acting weird, JP tells her that he knows that she came back to avenge the death of her parents. He also knows that she still has the video that she said had gotten destroyed during the explosion. JP understands that Bella doesn’t trust him, but she can’t lie to him.

Felipe goes to visit Emi who wants to ‘play’ but Felipe is afraid JP will catch them. Just then, Emi’s phone chimes and she sees a pic of Carolina that Castor sent her.

Simón is disguised as a utility worker as he stakes out Bella’s house. He isn’t doing a very good job because Pene spots him right away. Bella worries that JP knows why she returned to Mexico and that she won’t be able to walk out as Carolina. A little later, Pene and Bella get into their jeep and drive off. After Simón follows them, Pene and Bella spot him AGAIN so they are sure he is watching them. Bella is quick on her feet and calls Ricardo; she has something important to tell him. Meanwhile, JP calls Felipe and Simón and tells them to be on their toes.

Bella gets off the jeep and walks over to Simón’s truck. After she bangs on the window, she asks him why he is following her. Simón, of course, denies it, so Bella asks him if he knows Ricardo who happens to be his boss. She then hands him her phone where she has Ric on the line. Ric yells at Simón to get his butt over to the office and to take JP with him.

Later, Bella-Caro arrives at the casino and sits at one of the gambling tables. Emi spots her; so she walks over and hands Caro her phone. Castor is on the line and tells Caro that, if she wants to see him, he will have to fly over to Culiacan. After Caro agrees to go the next day, Castor tells her he will have her picked up at the airport. After Caro hangs up, she hands over the phone back to Emiwithout facingher.

At the agency, Ric is raking the three amigos over the coals. JP explains that Bella is after Castor…she wants vengeance. Ric chides JP for conducting the operation without his permission and tells them to stop following Bella.

After the three amigos leave Ric’s office, JP insists that he is going to continue. Felipe reminds JP that they know Castor is in Culiacan; so he will work on that lead. JP hears the signal from his computer…he listens as Bella confirms her flight to Culiacan.

Episode 8, Part 3: Run, Castor, Run!

After Bella hangs up, Mike asks her if she is sure she is ready to go through with this. Bella says she is and assures Mike and Pene that Castor will die the next day. When Pene asks how Bella will leave the place after she kills Castor, Bella isn’t sure…she thinks she can just wait till the next morning and leave without any problem. Mike thinks Bella will need a gun. Pene worries about getting a gun through airport security, but Mike knows of ways to get around that. They discuss how they can get a gun until Bella tells them that she knows how to get one.

Bella zips over to Eman’s office and tells him she wants to get a gun because she doesn’t feel safe and can’t sleep because of it. When Eman hesitates, Bella threatens to get it through the Black Market, so Eman tells her that he will think about it.

At Culiacán, Castro tells his goons that their first assignment will be a test for them…they are to go pick up his girl. Norman is there, but wants to go back to Mexico. Castor tries to talk him into staying, but Norman insists because he doesn’t want to be a fugitive like Castor.

JP talks to Ric to get permission to go to Culiacán NOW. Ric questions him, but JP will only say that he has his reasons and good sources to work from. After Ric agrees, he tells JP that if he doesn’t return with Castor, then JP shouldn’t bother returning either.

Felipe is with Emi again. She tries to get info about his case, but he tells her that he can’t because it’s confidential. After Emi thinks they shouldn’t have secrets between them, Felipe asks her why she was at the casino.

At the Quintero home, JP arrives as his gf and mom are getting ready for dinner. After he tells them he has to go out of town, Bella arrives and wants to talk to him so they go to another room. Bella wants to know what JP has against her; so he tells her he knows why she returned to Mexico…to go after all those involved in her parent’s murders. Bella denies it even after he tells her to look him in the eyes and tell him it isn’t so.

Emi wants to know why Felipe was spying on her. After Felipe clarifies that he was at the casino on a job, Emi tells him that the casino is sacred to her…the sound of the machines remind her of her father.

Eman calls Norman and asks if he has heard anything about Bella. Norman has heard nothing; all he knows is what Eman has told him…that Bella is in LA. When Norman mentions Carolina, Eman thinks that Castor’s downfall will be a woman; Eman and Norman will have to take care of that problem.

Mike and Pene talk about Bella going to Culiacán. Mike thinks they should go with her, but Pene thinks they have done enough. She would rather that Mike take her out to dinner…and tell her about his girlfriend that he lost.

At the Quintero home, Gloria invites Bella to stay for dinner, but Bella refuses. Once alone with JP, Bella tells him she’d better leave before Emi sees her and has a fit.

On her way home, Bella views the video again. Once she arrives and gets off, a man comes out from the shadows and hands her something…stay tuned to find out what she got…

"The three Mexateers" and "Bella swanks over to the guard" were among my favorites.

"JP is actually imagining that it’s Bella he is with. I thought I did see Bella at first in that scene but thought I imagined it". Thank you for explaining that was only JP’s wishful imagination.

When JP and Bella were having their conversation, JP's gf was eavesdropping. Jealousy or some other nefarious reason? I vote the latter. I've felt from the start something is up with her.

"After Emi thinks they shouldn’t have secrets between them, Felipe asks her why she was at the casino". Felipe is a dope. However, I do think Emi is playing with a full deck. Deluded in many aspects (especially her father) but she is playing Felipe well and sadly for him, he isn't aware of the concept of confidential information.

Simon's "disguise" was worthy of a poor episode of the Hardy Boys. Bella makes these professionals look like amateurs.

It would be nice to see a romance between Mike and Pene. However, when he is on screen, I find I am focused on him. Solely. Sigh.

I'm not sure Eman is convinced Bella is as innocent as she seems.

Uni is not showing any previews in my neck of the woods. Drat.

Thanks Rgv Chick. Love the Three Amigos reference. Reminds me of a happier movie. However can't complain about this one at the moment. The good guys are making their plans and no carnage to speak of in this episode. Will look forward to watching this later.

Wowzers. There is so much that I missed. I THOUGHT TOO that it looked like Bella helping JP off with his shirt and really paid attention and was shocked that it was the GF in a moment when his phone rang.

Thank you. This makes so much more sense reading every word. I liked BellaCaro swanking over to the security guy and talking DIRECTLY into his hidden microphone to tell his boss to call her.

Drats, Bella does still not know the dirtbag Emanuel is. Although it is clever having him get her an unregistered gun, if he and C&N think about it, Carolina showed up, about the time Bella arrived back in Mexico. Bad guys are always gifted in the conniving department and usually do not miss a clue like that.

It is disheartening how well sweet, pure little Esme plays Bella playing Carolina. ........ crushed
 

Monk parrots build a big straw nest with a perfectly round entry hole in the Bottom of the nest. Here they chose to build it on an ELECTRICAL pole. You can see the bottom of the transformer in the top center of the pic.
 

Kirby, thanks for the monk parrot info. Very interesting. What a wide variety of birds you have! About all I get are mourning doves (a fancy name for grey pigeons), a few sparrows and a cardinal once in a while. I hear that hummingbirds pass on through. We do get egrets on the creek down the block once in a while and hawks have become present in the last ten years. That’s it for my neck if the woods.
 

Chickie, thanks so much.We are visiting our daughter and her family, so I will not be able to see this show for awhile. Trip started off on a bad note. We left the house at 3am Wed. At 4.45, hub said, "do you know what I just thought of.......pause....we forgot the passports." so..two hours to go back home . Then, back on the road. " However, now we are here! " I will appreciate the recaps so that I can keep up with the story.

SusanLynn, never a dull moment in your life. When I traveled a lot for business an incident like you just had made me start taping essentials to the door into the garage as soon as practical. Only divine providence stopped me from leaving through the front door then.

Thankfully, we do have an abundance of birds. It seems the same with humans too. You can see just about anything here. Anytime the is an OMG fashion misstep or a crack head hairdo in one of these TNs I have seen it at either the beach or Walmart.

Susy, glad you made it safely to your destination. My goats survived the trauma of flooding, thunder and lightening. My poor babies; I just led them to higher ground and they are now grazing and basking in the sun. I hadn't said this in a looong time, but I'm so happy to see the sun!

Emi sneaking around the spy corner at her Mom's house is more disturbing. You can say a lot of bad things about Emi, but dumb isn't one of them. It will not take her long to use this new information to her advantage.

And Bella, trusts Eman and JP, neither of whom she should. In her world, there is only Mike and Pene. Every One Else is a suspect in what she is doing. She appears to halfway have JP's number, and at least she is being a bit coy with Emanuel. It will not be pretty when she finds out he is the Kingpin. Yikes
 

I thought it interesting that Bella and Pene were driving an old two dollar old Jeep Cherokee with the hood not fully latched. Something totally realistic, rather than a new $90,000 Mercedes with the Mercedes star blanked out to make us think it is a Hyundai.

I also noticed that everyone is using Macbooks rather than YH*6$#( laptops too.

Well, NudyB still has her fantasies of a muscular Prince Charming who will right wrongs,restore justice, and above all protect her. Leftover from that hormone surge that hit at age 13. Are we all still high school freshman inside? Anyway, Mike is my favorite galan in this one.

We've had two days of drenching Texas-type rain here Rgv Chick and it reminds me of that classic telenovela saying "llover sobre mojado". I've got small lakes building all around the house, and a sump pump chugging away in the basement, but no wee chicks in danger. Glad that you were able to move yours to higher ground. Always something, verdad?
 

Kirby, more than anything, I think JP is bugging Bella to find out what she's up to and protect her...from herself. He knows she doesn't trust the the cops/feds to do what needs to be done. In the previous episode, when JP told her that he was about to bring down Castor, Bella asked him if he really thought jail time was a sufficient punishment for Castor. She then said that Castor deserved to die, but JP reminded her that there is no death penalty in Mexico.

Ladies, the strong, quiet type does seem to appeal to me too :-)

I loved how they intermixed JP's girlfriend and Bela in that "into the bedroom" scene. Very nicely done.

I did not like that Bela asked Eman for a gun, for many reasons. What's wrong with using your friendly neighborhood guns and drugs dealer right down the street? He won't "Tsk, tsk" you, or ask any embarrassing questions. Actually, he doesn't want to know. But the Bela, Penélope, and Mike A-team doesn't have an arms cache? And why do they even need a gun, anyway, can't they just KungFu all the bad guys?

There must be something that I missed about Castor and Norman not knowing how they were compromised. Norman just a short time earlier found the world's most efficient bugging device hidden in the bullet, right? BTW, Castor is a turd, but Norman could almost be a nice guy if he weren't a stone cold killer. Well, we all have our flaws.

I'm enjoying this TN, but I find a few things are helping: a stint as a NY Mets fan and the daily meditation practice using the mantra of "Ya gotta believe... in spite of everything"; a double order of "suspension of disbelief" pills with the auto-refill option; a little judicious tippling before watching.

Andy, that is what astonished me about C&N wondering who compromised them with the BULLET !
They didn't put two and two together, with Castor remembering the flourish with which JP gave him a BULLET , which he never threw away or bit or tried to fire?

And I wondered too what happened to those guns Bella had in the batcave gun safe.
 

Ok, I was wrong again. After watching the episode again, I did catch JP saying his girlfriend’s name, Teresa, when he introduced Bella to her and his mom.

Andy, I agree that C&N have no commons sense. Could it be that Norman didn’t describe the mic.

Thanks, Rgv Chick. Glad your goats are okay. I can't imagine herding so many goats (well, not even one) ahead of rising water. You must be exhausted.

I too thought JP was making out with Bella. I do believe he subconsciously picked this girlfriend because she resembles Bella. I'm guessing the two women being about the same size and hair color and length will be pivotal at some point in the story.

I like Mike too. But those deltoids are a bit too big for me, so I won't fight ya'll over him. He and Pene have good chemistry. Hope something happens there.
 

Oh Lord, yes. They keep everything. In theory they return them, but even here in USA , once they get their hands on something they NEVER return it. It has been 5 years, those guns have probably been taken home or destroyed.

Yeah, I forgot about that too. Or it could have been the gun she asked Eman for. Her asking Eman for a gun was strictly a plot scene. As resourceful as those three are, there is no way they couldn't get a trunkload of guns. Hell, they just held up an armored car, they have the cash.
 

Kirby: Norman & Castor are going to jump to the wrong conclusion that Isabella put the bullet in there & torture her.... OR

They'll assume JP put the bullet (listening device) in there & call Emanuel (they'll probably want JP kicked out of law enforcement).

Diana, you're just going to have to pump some iron, or at least aluminum, before your match with Judy.

Kirby, I am lost, lost, lost, when it comes to that scene of C&N in the car. First, how is it that mighty Castor, casino boss, is running for his life along a deserted boulevard in CDMX until picked up by Norm in his car? Is it even possible that Norm then never mentioned the bullet while they debated how things went wrong? And beyond that, they still don't know that JP's computer has facial and voice recognition interfacing with airport security hi-res color cameras and cell phone eavesdropping abilities; plus special spy bullets bought by mom at Walmart, and who knows what all else. That they managed to escape at all is a mystery, or would be if the TN didn't have a lot of episodes yet to go.

Meh, I'm just hanging in till Bela dresses up to get close to the Big Bad Blonde.

Hey Diana, you could probably out wrestle me and win, even without crying. Yes, I lift weights (little ones!)and do aerobics, but I'm actually pretty spindly. An ectomorph with a little endomorph thrown in the middle. That's why I go for a mesomorph like our Mike....opposites attract.

Andy, glad to know I'm not the only teenager cleverly disguised in an aging body (speaking for myself, not you young whippersnappers) but you're right, at least no longer having to deal with complexion issues or the horrible smelling Noxema of my youth.

Kirby: Castor & Norman with all of that bravado are scared of Emanuel ? ROFLOL.

I'm betting Castor & Norman are the next ones to fall, could be this week or next week.

 

Steve that is probably a pretty solid prediction about C&N, as those two are the ones Bella watched kill her Father in cold blood on her security camera. Not to mention, also, Castor is the one she has already been stalking and has booked a flight for herself and her gun to visit him.

Yeah, I don't understand their fear of Eman either. So he is the big boss. Why is it that these hitmen never turn on their bosses if they get too cocky?
 

I just flipped the TV on and some show "Quantico" was on. They were all Ga Ga Goo Gooing over this new pistol with a keypad in the grip. You dial in a cell phone number, and fire the gun and the BULLET will find that cellular phone and shoot the user.

I looked, but couldn't see, but I bet it said Hecho en Mexico on it.
 

It is kind of nice to have some dumb had guys and smarter good guys for a change.


I fear that we might never see our old favorite galans Fernando Colunga and Big Ed again. Que lastima.

Judy...it is nice to be a perpetual teen inside.


 

Friday part 1

A mysterious bearded man shows up at Bellas house and hands her a package with a note from Emanuel.

Bella goes to the batcave and circles Castor’s picture. She takes off her necklace with her parents rings, and Fido's Rabies tags.

BellaCarolina is in the airport. Mike has given her an xray proof gun case. She makes it through.

JP, Feli and Simon are preparing to follow her to Castor’s. Feli tells JP that it’s not good to be on a case where he is personally involved. Simon thinks JP should just take his gun and shoot Castor just to get it over with, but JP won’t give Castor the pleasure of just dying. Felipe warns him that Bella just might beat him to it.

Emi at home calling Castor and tells him Bella is back in Mex. Norman worries, but Castor who is still wearing Martha Stewart's robe, is not worried. All he cares about is that his girl is on her way.
Norman puts 5 spoons of sugar in his coffee. How does he stay so slim? They discuss Bella and Norman reminds Castor that he is not to go after her. After Castor blows him off, Norman comments that a victim’s children are the most dangerous when it comes to avenging a death of a parent.

JP, Simon, and Felipe are at the airport following Carolina in a fake ass orange airport worker vest with Simon because they think she is a hot chick. JP thinks it might be Bella but can’t confirm because he doesn’t see the scar on her leg. When Felipe recognizes Caro from the casino, JP realizes that Caro is actually Bella.
Bella makes a VERY Nice luking Hooker. Butterfly tattoo under her right armpit.

In Sinaloa, Castor does the rose petal thing on the bed as he waits for Caro. He is out of cologne and the Dollar Store is closed.

JP is anxious because an hour has passed and Bella is just sitting there. Bella gets a message on her phone and goes to the ladies room. JP and Simon are freaking out over what to do waiting for her to come out.

One of Castor’s goons calls to Caro from the window of the restroom and tells her that the feds are following her. He helps her through a window out of the bathroom and hides her in a luggage cart to take her out to the private Lear Jet they have for her. They pass right by JP!

The boys are still waiting outside, and finally realize she has been in there too long. They finally go in and Sorpresa Nada Bella.

JP goes cray cray out onto the tarmac to find her but her airplane is already leaving. He is stopped by actual real airport guys. Propellars are dangerous son, you only make that mistake once.

The 'Boyz' made it to Sinaloa or whatever it is, and are waiting for BellaCaro. In the airplane she is trying to get up to go get something from her bag, but the pilot has turned on the seatbelt sign and tells her to remain seated…if she needs something, they will get it for her.

CDMX: Pene and Mike are walking along on their date.
 

Part 2
Pene keeps telling Mike that she wants him to tell her his story, but Mike tells her that women are the ones who tend to talk about their problems, not men. Mike then complains that they are acting like they are on a vacation while Bella is out there. Pene tells him not to worry, but he still does since Bella might not be able to escape and she can’t do much with just one cartridge. Those corn rows look funny with those enormous false ….eyelashes.

JP supposedly knows how to talk to the (BellaCar's) copilot as if he is the ATC, Bullpoopy. He tells the pilot that he has to turn back to Culiacán because there is a problem with the runway at Los Mochis.

Dummies are waiting out there on the tarmac in broad daylight. The pilot arrives and JP goes inside to get the pilot’s bags. As he does, the pilot recalls how Bella and the other goon plan on parachuting out.

Actually modern parachutes land so softly that it is possible to do it without a LOT of training. You jump with a static line attached to the plane which opens your chute for you when you are clear of the plane. Or you jump harnessed to an experienced jumper. You used to need special jump boots to protect your ankles as you landed hard back then, but not so much now .

The pilot has BellaCaro's luggage so JP plants a bug on it when the pilot goes into the men's room.

OK, so they jump out harnessed and we see a chute open.

BellCar and the goon have safely landed in the woods somewhere. Thank Heavens for her jumpsuit. How did that Peek a Boo wig stay on falling to earth? They uncover two ATVs to take the rest of the way and call Castor to let him know.

At some bar Pene is trying to get Mike drunk on tequila. Girls...don't freak out, he has will power. After she urges him to tell her about his girlfriend, he tells her that he had never loved anyone as he loved her. The girlfriend was told that she was to go on the mission, Mike asked his superiors if he could go too, but they did not allow it. During the mission, the team was ambushed and everyone was killed; so Mike went after them.

They jumped out of a perfectly good airplane and now need crash helmets to ride a pair of farm ATVs?

Pene and Mike continue talking. Mike feels guilty because he trained and prepared his gf for the mission. Had he not done that, his gf would not have been sent on the mission. When Pene remarks that it was the enemy who killed her, Mike tells her that is why he killed them. Pene finishes the sentence for him and says that he killed both of them, but Mike tells her there were five of them.
She should be slurring her words enough that I can understand her before long.

JP, Feli and Simon are hanging around in the airport and getting anxious because the pilot is just sitting there. When they see the pilot get up and leave, they start to follow but… Ruh Row! Airport fellows pull their guns on them.

Caro is there at Castor’s place and Castor has changed into James Bond's robe now in seductive black. He appears to shave his chest?

After they make small talk, Castor tells Caro that her room is ready, but Caro needs her luggage. Where is her luggage (and GUN)? Castor tells her he has something waiting for her in the room that she can wear, but Caro insists that she still has some things in her bag that she needs. Castor doesn’t think she should bother since everything will end up scattered on the floor anyway.


 

Part3

Dummies are in a real pickle in some barn and JP is strung up. Looks like the Real airport guys were not so real after all. Norman calls Castor and tells him that he has the feds who were following Caro. Castor tells him to kill them, but Norman suggests that they get info about how they managed to get as far as they did first. Castor wants Norman to take care of it while he takes care of his own little package that just arrived.

Bella flashes back to seeing Castor and Norman slash her Mom. (Yes, in her flashback she saw both Castor and Norman's faces.)

Castor goes out to see BellaCaro. She manages to put Castor off…she wants to take a bath before doing anything else. (She wants it to be a clean kill?)

A masked goon (AKA Norman) asks JP for the passcode to his phone. When JP refuses, the goon shoots Felipe’s leg, so JP gives him the passcode. Once the goon unlocks the phone, he finds an image and asks JP what it signifies. Looks like the Dummies are about to get themselves killed.

Yikes...sounds like this episode had a lot of tension. That's one reason this wuss likes to wait until daytime to watch it.

Love "Martha Stewart's robe". It was indeed a very girly robe for the toad that is Castor to be wearing. Another fave:

"he is out of cologne and the Dollar Store is closed"

As for the rest, sounds like we have to handle major suspension of disbelief... Bela can parachute out of plane without peek-a-boo wig falling off.

Well I'll check this out later, if only for Mike's biceps and deltoids, but enjoyed the recap Kirby. You rock old son.
 

Oh and Susanlynn, glad you have a teenager perking along inside as well. Guess I should be glad instead of chagrined. Just wish the outside and the inside matched a bit better.

Kirby, I'd be lost without your recap. So Bella arrived at Castor's after riding a cart with luggage packed around her, parachuting out a plane, and riding an ATV. Yes, a bath is in order because it had to get sweaty under that wig. And Castor believes a woman would go to all this trouble just to bed him? Don't know how I feel about the funny, odd couple vibe they are giving Castor and Norman. ("Norman, not so much sugar in your coffee, please. It will kill you.)
 

Thanks patio. Yaaa Bella is a tough chick. She is reminiscent of the original Arnold Schwarzeneggar 'Terminator' character, solely focused on one mission only with the resolve to accomplish it at any cost. To this minute she does not have a plan to escape after she kills Castor.

I've jumped out of airplanes myself, and she was braver than me on my first jump. At the last moment I looked DOWN, a colossal mistake, and they had to kick me out.................. Bella only screamed.

But the parachuting was a clever ploy. Another of their mistakes, is inside the airplane it appeared to be a small bizjet, , looked like a Lear, and you can't slow one of those rockets down enough to jump out. You can't step out into wind rushing by at 300 miles an hour. Think about extending your hand out the car window only going 60 or so.

Ricardo told JP if he was going to Sinaldo (sp) after Castor, not to return without him. That is looking like a possibility now. Rookies.
 

Kirby: Let me guess: looks like JP's buddies in the Federal Police Force will get whacked ?
 

OK geography time. Castor and Norm are in the state of Sinaloa, in the city of Culiacan It is on the Northwestern coast of Mexico running parallel with the Southern tip of the Baja peninsula.

Mexico has 31 states, and the DF in Mexico city counts as one also, so that makes 32. And yes they are called states. (Estados)

 

I don't know Steve. The dumbest one, Felipe, who is boinking skinny chick Emi already has a bullet hole, thanks to JP. Now that's something to bond over for sure.
 

How dumb is JP. Oh let me count the ways.
His sidekick Felipe is banging his Sister and he does not even suspect anything?
His Sister is the local crack dealer at the ONLY casino in DF and he doesn't know?

You're welcome Judy. In these TNs they sometimes refer to the same place by the city and then by the state. It is very cornfuzing to me if I can't put it all on the map in my head.

So now if the little script at the bottom says Sinaloa, I know they are in the vicinity, in that State in that part of Mexico, but if it is Culiacan I know they are in town. These are not written for us Gringos and a native Mexican would get it right off the bat.

Good Morning, Patio! Kirby, thanks for doing this recap. I would have been lost right after Bella crawled out of that window. Geez, such suspense and nail biting events! One thing that I keep telling myself is that this is way above the TN league....it's like an 80 episode movie...which is a good thing!

Kirby, your "counting the ways" is perfect! JP is not even near Bella's league. Hey, maybe they could hire Mike to train the rookie feds! I wouldn't doubt it if Bella is the one to rescue the three amigos.

Castor sent these goons on their first assignment as a test. Well, I would say that they clearly passed it and Castor better watch out because they may just take over. They are waaaaay over Castor's head. The one who has surprised me too is Norman, He started out as this scrawny, gutless worm and has turned into a slick, somewhat intelligent mobster. If Emanuel needs to keep an eye on someone, it's Norman. Or maybe Eman chose Norman as his lone associate because he knew what Norman could be capable of.

Kirby, to add to your geography lesson, Bella had to fly into Culiacan, but Castor is at a ranch in Los Mochis which is also along the coast, but is 133 miles north of Culiacan.


 

Niecie, "And Castor believes a woman would go to all this trouble just to bed him? " What a blithering idiot Castor is! Was it Norman, or was it Eman, who said that a woman will be his downfall. How right they are! Castor might get Bella to wrap her legs around his neck, but it'll only be to choke him to death.

OK. So after JP pretended to be the Air Traffic Control, the plane flies on twenty minutes North, drops Bella and Goonie, then comes back to land at Culiacan with her luggage. As I understand it, you don't jump out carrying your suitcase, as you have both hands on that dam wig.
 

Norman just told him that as he was discouraging him about Carolina and Castor couldn't even hear him thinking about those rose petals he was going to squash.

You are so right RGV, Norman is the dangerous one. Castor is just a Horn Toad, but Norm acts like an all business professional assassin.
 

Did you guys see when Castor and Bella were first together last night face to face and his eyes were about at 'chest' level to her with her stripper stacks on? He was (stooopidly) commenting about how much taller she was and she kicked off her shoes so she didn't tower over him so much?

Kirby, yeah, I did see Bela sweating plastic bullets on the luggage x-ray line, and my heart nearly stopped when the agent found something suspicious, and only when it turned out to be someone else's luggage could I take a breath. But what I still don't understand is... well, just about everything.

But it doesn't matter, just someone please wake me up when we get to the blonde with the flotation devices.

He and his colleagues lack the experience and more importantly, the common sense and caution needed to be playing in such shark infested waters. I cringed when JP was strung up - I can't abide watching torture. I can only hope someone will arrive to save the day. Unfortunately, Mike is tied up with keeping his feelings to himself, despite being plied with liquor by the well intentioned Pene. Judy, I took absolutely NO notice of his biceps during that scene. Well, Ok, maybe a tiny peek.

I really like the actor playing JP but I prefer my galans a bit more brainy. I am hoping the newbie gets the hang of things sooner than later.

Susanlynn...Juan Pablo was the worthless younger brother of the heroine in Lo Que La Vida Me Robó. He caused her all kinds of heartache, and other characters as well. A real bum. Hey Patio. I have been racking my brain all weekend wondering how Bella is getting OUT of this quicksand called Castor and Company she has chosen to swank into.

Marvelous Mike was asking the same thing and I wondered with him at the time, but Bella was of the mindset that she will cross that bridge when she comes to it. Did she consider that bridge might be on fire?

So I thought, "Well, maybe this crush which JP 'DOESN'T' have on her will work in her favor and he and his merry men will save her even if unintentionally, in their attempts to bring in Castor." Remember that they were told not to bother returning to their jobs empty handed.

It turns out JP is occupied with other things right now, though it would be a good guess he would prefer to be saving Bella.

Pene and Mike might just decide to give Bell a bit of free insurance and show up, but Bella has told them to stay out of it. I hopeo they were not listening.

Far fetched, but it might wind up being Eman who intervenes, as he is the big Kahuna, and if he thinks that someday he might replace Maria with Bella he could make a call and save her, but it would have to be hidden from Bella. Castor would need to conveniently allow her to best him or in the least escape, further inflating her already inflated, it seems. view of her combat / assassination abilities.

Andy, do you have your computer set to potentially wake you when the Blonde email comes in?
 

There are shadowy figures guarding Castor, but not sure how many. Is the suitcase en route or has that been detained as well?? Bella has no gun and unless she can get her hands on one...I still think Bella is going to show Castor who she is and plans on showing her karate and other mad skillz to kill him. She would need to do so quietly and then figure out how she will escape without being detected. Good luck with that.

We know JP will survive but he is entrenched in it. He and his inexperienced friends will be at Norman's mercy who so far, seems to have exhibited not an iota of pity.

Sending Bella alone was really risky. I don't think Mike and Pena are sufficiently alarmed. Yet.

Kirby, your recaps are surprisingly excellent. I only say "surprisingly" because your comments, though always enjoyable, are often flippant. You brought a discipline to your recapping so everything got covered quite well in addition to being fun to read.

Nope, no special alerts for the Big Bad Blonde, but I don't need one. I fast forward through some scenes of guys doing really dumb things, but always drop out of FFWD when there are good looking women doing really dumb things. There's a world of difference, you know.

Oh my Rgv Chick,this is the first time I saw the lakes around your place. Hope the sun keeps shining and dries up all those enormous, shouldn't-be-there puddles.
 

Thanks, JudyB. I still have a little pond in the back, but everthing else is drying up enough to where I don’t have to wear those heavy boots to walk around.
