Bela_Ep_57 More lying and hopping than a Bond Movie

Ig continues to grovel and asks Bela not to kill him..if she thinks jail is sufficient then he will accept. Bela asks why he doesn't kill her…kill her there, right now. Ig says his intention was not to hurt her. Bela will think about it; she gets up and walks out.

Eman and Emi. Emi tells Eman that she needs to decide what to do without him telling her what to do. Eman agrees to stay away until she decides. He asks that she keep the shares, but Emi can't assure him of that either.

Bela calls JP, he says what a surprise! Bela asks JP why he was there at the club where Ig spoke. JP replies that he was there to tell Ig that he was in danger. Bela tells JP that Ig was remorseful admitted to everything. After JP asks if she believed him, Bella tells him how Iggy told her that the shadow was more dangerous than his father…and that the shadow killed his father; now he can decide what to do with that info. Let's all guess.....nothing.

Eman and the Senator now and Eman complains to Senator that Emi dropped him…after all the time and effort he invested in her. Senator tells him he has to think objectively about it. He says that his mistake was to fall in love with her. Hoo Hoo Hee Hee Ha Ha..funny man you Senator you. Eman tells him he doesn't know what he is talking about…he is talking only because he has a mouth. Senator tells him to tread carefully.

Ig and Daniel with the new guy Ramiro who Daniel was working with the last episode. Ig talks to Ramiro about a dream...he is a very fortunate man thanks to his life and business. He has a dream …what if all these people would not get ill....if they could develop something to make sure of that.

Bela is back home with Pene and Mike in the Batcave. Bela tells Mike and Pene about her conversation with Iggy. Mike thinks he didn't really tell her anything, but Bela tells him he told her that the shadow killed JP's father. She then tells them that she questioned several of the people working there and Iggy paid all them 200 pesos to say that he was a great man. She is going to play his game; she will make Iggy believe that she believed everything he said. Maybe you should get the Cliff's Notes then Hon.

Now Ig is with Eman and the Senator. Iggy tells Eman and Sen that Bela believed everything he said…about the cancer and how he told her that the shadow was a nefarious, cruel man. They all think they are soooo clever.

Simon and Pene Simon tells Pene that she hasn't answered his question about being novios. Pene finally tells him yes. Does this mean Mike is getting lucky?

Iggy shoots one of his men in the yard. Just for fun it appears. Daniel asks Hugo if he has a problem with what just happened. Hugo says yes. Daniel then tells Hugo not to be ungrateful...he has a house, food and double the salary he would get anywhere else. Daniel figures that Hugo isn't as much bothered by the killing of his friend, as he is afraid to be next to be killed. Daniel tells him he just needs to do his job. (And it will be longer before we kill you) Feel better?
 

Two

Back at popo central. Simon, JP and Andrea and Andrea says that is all the info they have. Ric comes in and tells SImon that Senator accepted his apology and he can return to work with the feds.

Bela is visiting Ig and Marcia? . Marcia is surprised to see Bela. Not as much as we are ! Ig tells Marcia that he did invite her, but he wants to talk to her alone. Once alone, Ig asks Bela why she came to his land. Final Answer: She is cray cray

Eman goes to see Glo/Pat and asks for a few minutes.

Bela tells Ig as Marcia listens around the corner that she wants to believe him. Ig assures her that everything he said was true. Bela tells him that forgiving him won't bring back her parents. She won't kill him because she won't do to Marcia what he did to her. And he was the only one who admitted what he did…so she offers him a truce. OK..Yeah, she IS cray cray.

Eman is going to tell Glo/Pat something but it is only between them. He tells her that the dollar she has was the one he earned together with Armando. He was working at customs and saw an opportunity to make some side money. Glo/Pat asks if he thinks it's right to keep that info from the woman he loves? Eman responds that he can’t tell Emi…that is why he is there confessing to her.

Ig thinks Bela came to make sure they didn't go after at her. Daniel thinks they should be more careful and maybe get more men, but Ig tells him they just need to replace the men. Ramiro arrives with Marcia and asks Ig when he wants him to start working.

Gloria and Eman. Eman is soooo sincere and thoughtful while he fills the whole room with bullshit. Liar, liar. Look you right in the eyes and make it up as he goes along. Glo still doesn't understand what Eman wants from her if she can't tell Emi. Eman tells her he doesn’t want her to do anything; he just wanted to be honest with her. Eman asks if she never made a mistake. After working with Armando he realized that he didn't want that life. (He wanted much MORE) everything he has done after that has been straight and completely legal. On which planet?

Bela at Popo central with JP. She tells him that she just came from talking to Ig and she is not going to do anything to him.

Now Simon visits with Ig and Senator Senator tells him that JP is making their lives miserable and they need him to help them with that...and also with Isabela.

Emi and Eman at her work, Emi tells Eman to leave, she doesn’t want him telling her what to do.

Comeback gym the B team talk about being ready...Bela asks Mike if he is ready ...are his ribs healed? Pene mentions that Mike is having some emotional problems; and if Mike is part of the mission they will be in trouble. Bela asks why he didn't tell her. Mike says he just needs to focus on other things, but Bela will not risk his life. Pene tells Bela that Simon is involved...he wants to stop them.

 

Three

Senator tells Simon that he is now learning how the country works. They just want him to cover their backs. They talk money...15 million. Simon says too much money...but Ig tells him he will learn how to use it and live a better life. Simon agrees.

Marcia in Daniel's bed. He tells her to let him go. She tells him she likes the song; it reminds her of her father. Huh? He tells her she is crazy. You noticed? She says the problem is that he has never stopped seeing her as a child. He needs to see her as a woman. Well, this is a start...............

JP with Andrea drunk. She tells him to stay because he is drunk. He says he can drive...she wants him to stay with her…he can sleep in her bed just like a pair of friends. Uh huh..........

Pene tells Mike that she can't let him to participate in this mission as a form of therapy. Mike tells her all this is happening to him because of her. She tells him that he just needs to allow himself to feel...and it looks like he will feel...her

Damn, Pene found his On/Off switch Zooom

Emi and Glo talk. Emi would like to tell Eman that she made a mistake. Glo understands how she feels and tells her she is there to support her.

Meanwhile Eman looks at his roadmap to happiness with a nice drink.

Then Andrea puts the brakes on things because she just remembered she is a virgin? Like "How do I fake THAT?" JP asks what is wrong. Andrea didn't think that what happened to her would affect her but it did. She wants her first time to be with someone who she is really connected to. JP admits that he was thinking of Bela. So they go back to bed. JP is not worthy of the moniker DOG.

Next day, Andrea brings JP breakfast in bed. Did she wear THAT to McDonalds? Andrea asks how JP is. Andrea was awake all night thinking of what Bela would have thought. Uh Huh..........JP is glad that she stopped him. Andrea likes his sincerity. She needs to go take a bath, but JP asks her to stay. He is still looking for his dogness?

The new and improved Mike greets the girls the next morning too...Pene’s therapy seems to have worked wonders. Mike saw a mosquito on Pene's rear…the mosquito had to be destroyed. He feels good...like he's up in the clouds. He feels so good that he can participate in the mission. Pene supports Mike and tells Bela to give him an opportunity. Maybe now that he is improving he may get to full capacity.

Ig and Ramiro at breakfast next morning too. Did they sleep together too? Nevermind...Ig talks to Ramiro about synthetic marijuana, but Ramiro tells him it's illegal in the country; Ig, however, thinks that since they are only going to produce it, it won't be illegal. He needs Ram to go find a factory where they can work…and make a list of everything he needs, Ram starts to have doubts, but Ig calls Isaac to take Ram to the factory. You’re S-O-L, Ram!

JP and Simon at work. JP asks Simon what is going on. Why did he go to the Senator’s office? Andrea asks why he got in the car with the Senator, but Simon tells her that this is a convo between him and JP. After Andrea leaves, JP asks the same question. Simon tells him what they talked about...that Sen said that he and JP were trying to bring him down. After the ride Sen dropped him off at the casino. JP asks what he did afterwards..did he go in? What games did he play?

Simon only told him half-truths...JP was not buying it
 

The Senator and Iggy told Simon that they would set it up so that he wins the money at the casino, so it is not exactly like a payoff. Simon agrees to collaborate with them. We don't know right now whether he is setting them up or is going over to the dark side.

"Meanwhile Eman looks at his roadmap to happiness with a nice drink". Nursing his bruised ego, I was waiting for him to cross out Emi's name and put Bella back in the game.

"Iggy shoots one of his men in the yard. Just for fun it appears". The man is mentally ill, a trait he has obviously passed onto his daughter. Sick. Twisted.

There are many TNs that lift your spirits with joy, happiness, humor and oh yes, true love in the form of a couple willing to battle the heaven and earth to be together.

This is not one of them.

I think Simon is playing the Senator. Sadly, I don't think he is up to the challenge. It's not a solo mission and without his bro JP, I suspect this will not end well.

So Mike is having some mental issues. So, who isn't here?? They need his brawn so take him back into the pack Bella.

JP and Andrea also had palpable chemistry. I still have no idea who the real Andrea is....

This episode was sliced. We didn't see Bela questioning waiters about Iggy, we didn't see Bela jumping the barbed wire fence to get inside Iggy's house. There were more scenes with Simon, how he ended up in the meeting with Iggy and Abel, how he won 15 mil in blackjack, why Penny says he is on their side. Luckily they probably cut more scenes with Emi. There were more scenes with the new guy Iggy hired. There was more in the bed scene between Andrea and JP, showing who started the kissing, or was it mutual. I suspect it was Andrea.

I liked that Bela called JP and told him about his father. And then she visits JP and lies to him about her plans.

Doesn't make sense that Abel be Eman's confidant in the matters of the heart and business. More likely that Eman would keep all his plans to himself.

Good job by Andrea. I think she can get Isabela out of JP's head.

First....there were Too many things wrong in this episode.

JP and Andrea sleeping together and deciding to make out? Now both JP and Andrea are really asking to be killed by Bella, and I still don’t like that phony Andrea girl....she is just too phony for me after all she did with Ant. JP is a dumb ass!

Second, Mike and Pene making love all because Mike has mental problems and is a big no polar/crazy....sorry Pene but he’s not the right fit for her and she will make him more insane when he finds out shs accepted to be Simon’s girlfriend. Mike should stay as far away from Pene as possible because he’s dealing with a bit of an attention whore (let’s be honest she doesn’t know what she wants). These 2 are a disaster waiting to happen now in my opinion.

With Simon looking more and more likely to be joining the dark side, Pene and Mike are going to be in more danger than ever before too if it turns out Simon is indeed dirty. This is why I didn’t like the Pene and Mike scene, because Simon is getting dangerous and threatening. Will he be the one that whacks them out of jealousy???

Eman is a train wreck. For once we’ve seen he has a weakness and that he’s capable of being vulnerable...never thought we’d see him break down over a break up with a girl who could be his daughter. Then he goes to the Senator to complain....Eman is a weirdo! Not sure if I liked it though because now he seems lost. Thought villains were geniuses with a plan?

Bella is slowly becoming the Bella of old again. As I’m liking her again!

 

Lucio, right again. I had been seeing previews all weekend showing all sorts of things, so was preparing for an action packed episode. NONE of the weekend preview stuff was in the episode. Not the first time LooneyVision has pulled this bull.

Andrea is very good competition for Bela. I actually like her better. Mind you, JP is no fripping prize, if she could date someone twenty feet out of her immediate circle, she would discover what she has been missing.
 

And they cut off scenes again. I hate it. I felt so annoyed how quickly they were jumping from one event to another with little detail and times.

To me, Simon lying was officially proof that he’s being dirty. I don’t think he’s settling up The Senator at all anymore. Once you lie to your buddy/cop, you are corrupted. Could still be him choosing to act on his own but keep in mind that he’s not being smart about it as he never consulted it with Ricardo and is hiding this from his own boss....very important to remember that. That’s not exactly a cop working undercover ;)
 

Lucas, the only thing that I see in his favor, in the Simon dirty/not-dirty issue is the way JP was "fired" and unemployed for a looong time, with Simon and Viewerville all fooled. So I still have a sliver of hope, but am struggling with it.

If he has gone to the dark side, and finds out that Pene consummated her official Novia-dom except with MIKE, Ruh Roh Scooby Doo. :-)

And I too was glad that Bela told her about the shadow killing his father; however, if she thinks Ig was lying, what would make her believe that bit of information.

The thing about Simon that indicates to me he’s actually dirty and has turned to the dark side, is that so far he’s not letting JP or Ric know anything. When JP pretended he was fired and went undercover to pretend he’s working for Ant, he was at least consulting Simon and filling him on important information so that he could fulfill his mission. Also; Simon is sincerely and genuinely giving it a lot of thought and interest when he was given the proposal to work for Senator and Ignacio. When you are undercover, you would not look so conflicted and just play along easily....but he’s giving too much importance with his facial expressions.
 

And keep in mind this wasn’t Simon’s plan. They approached him first. :)
 

Here’s food for thought. Why hasn’t Ricardo launched an investigation on Bela yet after the interrogation he did to her and knowing she refused to cooperate at all? Also hearing JP tell her to give him the proof, he looked stunned and dismissed it....wha kind of a boss is he? If I hear someone has proof, I’d go after them! ;)
 

RGV Chick: You’d have to assume Eman is killing Gloria very soon. She may very well be a goner by the end of the week. No way he moves on from this break up so easily. I’m surprised he hasn’t reacted violently so immediately yet.

JP frustrates me because he's supposed to be smart, but so far hasn't realize that since the beasts profited from his dad's death they were behind his killing. He's totally clueless about Eman. Andrea has a good head on her shoulders so maybe she can help him figure this out.

Lucas and Kirby, I vote Simon is still a good guy. My take is he wants to be a supercop and do it solo (stupidly) like JP did with the trafficked women (though we know JP's mission would've been a bust without Bella's assist).

Lucas, Glo/Pat is not making things easy for Eman; in fact she is making things much worse. I can understand why Glo/Pat was so bewildered when Eman went to talk to her. Why would he even think that Glo/Pat would keep the info he gave her from Emi, especially when he knows how she has been bulldozing Emi and trying to break them up. That visit made no sense to me other than maybe Eman is giving Glo/Pat one more chance to accept him. Since she didn't, who knows...she may just very well not make through the week.

Diana and Kirby, yes, Pene and Mike are finally a couple. We are all quite excited about that, but how will Simon feel when he finds out? I bet he won't be wanting to help them out with bringing down the beasts...or anything else, for that matter. If Simon hasn't gone to the dark side, this may very well push him toward it.

About Eman: I couldn't tell, was he actually hurt that Emi broke it off with him? I thought his only remorse, regardless of what he says to everyone, was that he thought he had a foolproof plan to own it all, and her cooperation was a crucial part. Remember all the other beasts, who know him better than anyone, describe him as an inhuman monster.
 

Maybe I'm just bored, but I was looking at something from back when this show first started where they listed the beasts one through 7. And it appears 1 through 5 have left Earth in their respective numerical order:

1. Ari Telch as Armando Quintero: Better known as Bestia 1 is the father of Juan Pablo and Emilia Quintero.
He often recruits beautiful women, including famous actresses or hostesses, to seduce them with money and get them to agree to sleep with him.

2. Francisco de la O as Horacio Hernández: Better known as Bestia 2.
He is the corrupt president of a delegation in Mexico City. The Mayor.

3. Aylín Mújica as Roberta "La Madame" González: Better known as Bestia 3.
She owns an escort service, is a woman full of aesthetic surgeries who is obsessed
with beauty and youth

4. Sebastián Martínez as Antonio José Ramos: Better known as El Colombiano or Bestia 4. 
Behind his facade as a happy and amusing immigrant who pretends to be an importer and
exporter of Colombian underwear is a man who is into the trafficking of women.

Rgv Chick, I also have no idea why Eman searched out Patricia. I can only think that he blames her for Emi leaving him and she will bear the brunt of his anger. I have felt recently that Emi amused Em but that's a far cry from love. He cold bloodedly killed his girlfriend and their child. There isn't an iota of mercy in his being.

Simon may go ballistic, but I can't say I care. His ho hum attitude and lack of expressing any real emotion or intimacy toward Pene was frustrating to me :) I can't imagine being in her shoes. She should tell Simon though as he really thinks Pene is his G.F.

Thank you Niecie! So Eduardo is going to Telemundo...Televisa's loss. It looks like a great cast - Azela Robinson among so many others...I am likely staying put though as Mi Familia is up next and I am really looking forward to it.

Thank you, kirby. As always, I surfed in and out, and it seemed that every time I surfed in, someone was hopping around in bed. JP and Andrea sharing her bed but they are just friends???? ...kind of a drunk sleepover ...a drunkover??? Do people actually do this ? Then, some kissing....but no...JP is such a straight arrow...even when he is a drunk arrow .

And finally...Mike and Pene. Do you remember old Dim Dave holding Lu's head like a basketball when he kissed her in Vino Amor? Well, Mike had a death grip on Pene-s head.


I did not think that anyone could be as annoying as Mr. PAnty , but I am beginning to think that I was wrong....Icky Iggy...blah blah blah.

Kirby, thanks for reposting the beasts. It just goes to show that Looneyvison started the slicing and dicing since the very beginning because at no time were we given any indication that Armando was a womanizer..

Diana, I just wish we had been given more of Simon’s background. Maybe then we could understand why he is so cold...not that it would make him more likeable, but at least we could have a better understanding of what makes him tick.

SusanLynn, IMO Mr. Panty was heartless, but his urpose for what he did was to make money. Ick is heartless too but his goal is to get a high from killing those he perceives as weaker than himself which, to me, puts him way past Mr. Panty in the evil scale.

Anyone else believes and agrees that the very beginning and earlier episodes of this novela were more emotional, relatable, realistic, intriguing, detailed, intense, and told better stories that had you hanging on to your seat? I remember feeling so bad for Bella and legitimately feeling her pain. The first few episodes were so hard to watch because they were very strong and ruthless!

As it has gone by, seems like it’s watered down to another regular TN. I hope the ending pays off and surprises us all like it did in the very start. They still have a chance to deliver in these last few weeks and go back to those emotional episodes :)
 

RGV Chick: I agree that there are several characters in this TN who I wish we all had a better background understanding of and had more screen time. Armando, Simon, and even Eman is one of them....because all we know is that Eman is the god father of Bella but we never understood where his interests in working and aligning himself with Armando and the beasts came from, nor do we know and I don’t think we will ever find out what his relationship to Bellas parents was and how it started...also how he met Maria, etc!

JP, Emília, and Bellas stories are the only ones that have made perfect sense from the start. This is one of those novelas that deserved more than 80 episodes. I wouldn’t have minded 160 chapters! It’s must see every night.
 

I just thought of a crazy scenario but now the more I think about it, the more I think it makes sense and is very possible of happening. It is very likely in my opinion...here we go:

Andrea has to have her end written off at some point. So how do you do it? Due to his total dislike and hate for Andrea, I think Simon will mistakenly, or maybe even intentionally, snitch on Andrea and rat her out to The Senator and Ignacio, and they will be the ones who en up finishing her off and killing her, especially since The Senator knows who she is and will be vivid when he finds out she betrayed them to work for JP.

Does Simon kill her? Does she take a bullet for JP? ;)
 

Lucas, yes, it is very hard to feel sorry for Bella at this point. I think that you may be correct ,and she will die protecting JP. I think that as with most telenovelas, Andrea's purpose is to push JP and Bella apart to create drama. I am pretty tired of everyone..except maybe Mike.
 

Lucas, ITA with you about how this TN has gone from really good to mehhh. Hoping for an upward swing so we can finish with lots of action, anvils and answers to our many questions about some of the characters.

NiNa, you didn't miss much of the Pene and Mike tryst. They only showed the beginning when they start to devour each other...then it was next morning and Mike was up in the clouds.
 

RGV, exactly. The novela was full of so much action and seemed to get straight to the point at first. There wasn’t room for nonsense. Every episode was an adventure with answers. Now there’s just been so much filler and love triangle drama, like every other TN. Everyone’s mission and focus was very clear and fully thought out with a plan at first and we understood perfectly. But both main characters have been so lost lately that I’m forgetting what their agendas were.
 

JP for example, was very clear, blunt, and straight forward at the start. Even broke up with his GF to focus on the bigger task that he knew he needed to focus on with all of his energy. And that was Bella and the Beasts.

Now he’s the total opposite of that; and playing high school kissy games with Andrea, losing sight of it all, and allowing himself to be fooled. He’s losing the control he once had.
 

Whoops..I just reread my comment. I meant to say that Andrea would die protecting JP not Bella but...you never know. I am sick and tired of these people. I think that the whole story shows how revenge is a double edged sword . Bella has spent many years on this vendetta? In the process, she has lost her own humanity .
 

Episode 58, Part 1: Grim Reapers and Weepers

Senator asks Eman asks how things are going with Emi, so Eman assures him that he will recover both Emi and the shares. Senator then warns that Emi better return the shares or they will have to take more drastic measures.

In the batcave, Pene is teasing Mike when Bela comes and asks if he can speak in different accents. When Mike confirms, he shows her his Puerto Rican accent.

Eman and a bottle of twelve year old poison returns to see Glo/Pat. He apologizes, but he doesn’t have anyone else to talk to. Glo/Pat refuses, but Eman is desperate…he feels like he is going crazy. Glo still doesn’t want him there, but Eman insists because he will go home alone and have no one to talk to. He goes to look for something to pour drinks in.

Ram talks to Ig and tells him that what he wants to do is illegal. Ig worries that he might not get hired where he used to work, but Ram is confident. Ig tells him to go gather his things; he will ask for his helicopter so he can be taken back to Mexico.

Senator goes to talk to Emi. He is sorry that her relationship with Eman ended. When Senator asks if she has thought of reconsidering. Emi says she has made her decision. Senator then tells her it’s too bad because they made such a nice couple. When he asks about the shares. Emi tells him she will not return the shares since they belonged to her father. She adds that she doesn’t have to be an associate to keep them. Oh Noes, Sin-ator.

Eman tries to make GloPat take a drink. He talks about how Emi is such a success...they can toast to Emi. GloPat agrees if he promises that this will be the last time she sees him. Eman promises. Ummmm, careful what you ask for Gloria.

Bela and Mike spar…she has a broomhandle and he is blindfolded and still does well.

Ram gets ready to leave, but Daniel and couple ofmen are with him; Ram gets hit over the head by a shovel wielding Danny. Little twerp.

Eman gets GloPat drunk. She gets up and tries to make a call, but he tells her that is not a good idea. She calls JP anyway and asks him to forgive her. JP tells her she was doing well. GloPat tells him she couldn’t help it; she fell off the wagon. She needs a favor…not to tell Emi. She asks him to make something up so that Emi won’t come home. She is afraid of what Emi will say if she sees her like that. JP tells her to drink some water and lie down. After GloPat tells JP that she loves him, Glo hangs up and tells Eman to get out of her house. Eman goes toward the door.

Ig has Ram tied and beaten up. Ig tells him that he made a bad decision and that is why he is there. Ig then tells Ram that he WILL work for him…when someone enters his property, they follow his rules.
 

Episode 58, Part 2: Grim Reapers and Weepers

GloPat takes one more drink before she goes to throw up in the upstairs bathroom, but Eman is still inside. He sneaks upstairs, surprises her in the bathroom, grabs her, knocks her out, and puts her in the tub.

Simon calls Senator and tells him JP’s next target is El Cafetero. Senator tells him that he needs to sabotage whatever JP does. Simon agrees to do what he can and warns Senator that he will be JP’s next target.

JP and Emi arrive home. They both seem to be drunk, but Emi goes to make dinner.

Ram is alone and still tied up when Hugo comes in and tells him to be quiet. Ram asks Hugo to help him, but Hugo tells him that if he wants to live he needs to be quiet and do as told.

JP admires Emi’s quesadillas. JP tells her he will clean up and she should go to bed. Emi goes upstairs and sees her mother. She yells to JP who runs up. Emi wants to take GloPat out of the tub, but JP tells her not to touch anything. Emi sobs as JP holds her.

Eman sits coldly in his devil’s throne.

Emi and JP are in their living room as Emi cries that her mother was doing so well. What are they going to do now without either parent? JP opens the door…Simon and Andrea walk in. JP tells Simon that something is not right…his mother is in the tub face up…no bruises. JP and Simon go upstairs as Andrea tries to console Emi. Wowzers, it looks just like CSI...NOT.

Eman takes flowers to Emi and tells her that he is SO sorry. Barf.

Bela and Pene talk. Bela wants to know when Pene will tell her about the infamous therapy that she is using to make Mike get better. Bela asks if they are in love, but Pene denies it. Bela then asks about Simon and Pene tells her she plans to break up with him, but Bela tells her she should have done that before getting involved with Mike. Rules, rules Bela. Somebody die and leave you in charge?

Andrea arrives and asks to talk to Bela. Bela looks at her as though large insects are crawling off of her.

Daniel welcomes a new group of men and tells then that only one of them will be hired based on their profile and skills. Ig comes and tells them that one of them will have the great privilege to work for him. Mike asks what he will have to do; so Ig calls him over and asks what he sees. Mike says a stable, but Ig says it is a game site…whoever can pass through his eight men, get the red flag and return will be the head of his security.
 

Episode 58, Part 3: Grim Reapers and Weepers

Emi is in her bedroom with Eman. She tells him that she can’t stand so much hypocrisy. No one downstairs knows or cares what she and JP are going though. Emi feels like she is living a nightmare. When Eman comments that GloPat was doing so much better, Emi asks him how he knew that. Eman tells her he came to visit GloPat to try to make amends. Emi says that she feels alone and that her mother was the only one who cared about her. Eman tells her she is not alone; he is there unconditionally. He Luuuurves your shares...and...and you too.

Bela asks Andrea how Glo/Pat died; so Andrea tells her she fell in the tub and choked on her vomit. Bela then wonders why JP hasn’t told her; so Andrea reminds Bela that she told JP that she didn’t want to talk to him. When Bela asks why Andrea came to tell her, Andrea replies that she is there because she knows JP and Bela have been through a lot together and that they still love each other. She then tells Bela that the burial will be that afternoon.

Ig continues his speech about how he will choose the one who will be the head of security. Mike volunteers to go first.

Mike goes into the stable…beats the crap out of Ig’s men…they continue outside and he fights four men. Ig encourages Daniel to make bets as they fight. Daniel doesn’t want to bet for money, though.

At the funeral, Bela walks slowly toward the gravesite. JP enters the chamber tomb and looks at his mother’s picture. He goes outside and hugs Emi who tells him Bela is there. JP and Bela hug.

Daniel proposes to Ig that if he wins, Ig can’t obligate him to do anything he doesn’t want to do. Ig agrees.

At the funeral, Emi tells Eman that it is ironic that her parents couldn't stand each other and now they will be together forever.

The contest continues and Ig wonders where this animal came from. He hands this last man standing a scythe and the man goes at Mike.

The funeral continues. Bela and Pene watch from a distance. JP thanks everyone for being there at this time that is so difficult for them. He talks about his mother…how she gave up drinking and he doesn’t understand how this could have happened (so why wasn’t the forensics team there, you IDIOT!)…but that is life. Andrea hugs JP.

Ig is enjoying the battle. Daniel jumps for joy that Mike won. Dan asks about their bet; so Ig tells him he is a man of his word...he can count on it. He then tells Daniel to go tell the others that he doesn’t need to see anyone else.
 

Episode 58, Part 4: Grim Reapers and Weepers

Marcia cares for Mike and washes his wounds as she feels his ginormous muscles. She thinks that he must do a lot of exercise to have a body like that. She offers to tell her father to allow him to use the exercise equipment, but Mike tells her he has his own gym. Daniel arrives and gives Mike his contract; he can read it or just sign. Marcia is deliriously happy that as head of security, they will see each other every day. Believe me, you will wind up seeing a lot more of this skank than is legal.

As they leave the cemetery, Simon asks Pene what is wrong. Pene tells him they need to talk. When Pene hesitates so Simon tells her to be upfront and asks if she wants to break up. Pene says yes because she doesn’t feel comfortable with him anymore; she doesn’t see him the way she used to anymore. Pene tells Simon that she still loves him, but they have different priorities. Simon tells her to think carefully about it because if she ever wants to return, he won’t take her back.

Ig tells Mike that the first thing he needs to do is to secure the place and train his men. Ig also tells Mike that he needs to talk to Dan so he can get familiar with the way things are done. After Ig tells Mike that what happens there stays there, Ig tells him he needs him to go to Mexico and get three men without families or ties to anyone.

Daniel asks Ram how things are going. Ram tells him fine and adds that he always thought that Ig was an honorable businessman…not a drug trafficker. Daniel tells him not to ask so many questions…the sooner he finishes the sooner he leaves. When Ram asks if he will be allowed to leave, Daniel tells him they won’t need him after his finishes his job.

Eman watches Emi as she sleeps and asks if she was there all day without eating. When Emi replies that she hasn’t eaten, Eman tells her she needs to eat or she will get sick, but Emi doesn’t want to talk…she just wants to sleep. Eman tells her he will respect what she asks but he doesn’t want her sleeping on the couch. He leads her to bed. Yuck!
 

Who's the actor that plays Emanuel? He's such a good actor.. never seen him before.. the only interesting character in this whole story so far

Same type of person as here just not AS evil. I think that perpetually dark beard and overall dark look suits him to that kind of role, and being eight feet tall.

Here is a shot of Icky throwing his best combatant the hay scythe. After Mike had beaten about a dozen of Iggy's henchmen this big guy who was about a match for Mike came out, but Mike was still winning. So Ig throws him this tool. An exceptional recap. "Eman sits coldly in his devil’s throne" conveyed a picture perfect image.

"a bottle of twelve year old poison". My stomach lurched. Seeing Patricia preyed upon so mercilessly was almost too difficult to bear. Perhaps some of you, like me, have had lives greatly affected by family and/or loved ones alcoholism. Patricia succumbing to the inevitable poison apple was realistic and painful. Now the brutish monster has killed both of JP and Emi's parents.

I can't think of any TN in which almost every (if not all) of the characters are deeply flawed and deeply disturbed individuals. Whether wrestling with demons or actually being one of them, each seems in their own private hell.

I don't usually condone violence and am scratching my head as to why Mike had to go through yet another brutal beatdown. Why doesn't someone just shoot Ig and be done with it??? Ig is out of his mind and as Mike is in his lair, is open to danger every moment. What is to keep Ig from gunning Mike down if for no other reaason than jealousy.

Bella dispensing relationship advice to Pene was eye roll worthy.

With the possibility of Simon taking Mike out, we have seen glimpses of a gun wall in the batcave once in a while. Bela seems to carry a gun many times, but we have seldom if ever seen Mike or Pene packing one. It is time to start. If Simon is just pretending, to nab the Senator, he is doing a helluva job. But I now believe he really is working for the beasts. Too bad.

That said, I agree, it puts Mike in grave danger, and he should never be without a weapon now. He is a good fighter, but like they say, about bringing a gun to a fistfight or vice versa.

And another thing, little Danny Vega is just as sick as his mentor. I can't wait to see what happens to him.....hopefully painful and slow.

Nymphogirl sure was working on big Mike's wounds. I really wonder if she is hopping Daddy too. Probably. Sick

Apparently the actor that plays Emanuel could never get any protagonist roles when he was younger because of his height. Lmao how unfortunate but I saw that he was also in El Senor de los cielos where he played a good guy for most of season 1 but then they turned his character "evil" and then died after like 11 episodes in the second season. He was also in Senora Acero where he was a really good guy but died after 15 episodes apparently but this was like 5-4 years ago so he doesn't get that many big roles and gets more smaller roles that died just like in la piloto. Sad. his acting here is really good, playing a complete psychopath who acts goodie goodie dad

The unrealistic way they portrayed Gloria/Pickle/Patricia though, is she drank and got deliriously drunk, but she never did anything dangerous, destructive, or illegal in her drunken stupor aside form the superficial effects on her family and obvious health issues.
 

Is it just my inner DOG or was Bela's dress about a foot and a half too short to wear to a funeral? Or is it a Spanish thing? I have seen these TN girls show up at funerals looking like hookers, so who knows.

Kirby, I think there was a lot of footage on the cutting room floor last night. I gathered Mike and Bella playing bury the hatchet (amazingly avoiding any decapitation) was to signify something was coming but wasn't exactly sure what that was.

So there we have it; Ms. Pickles didn’t finish off the rest of the week alive, and Eman finally made his move. What a damn killer savage this bastard is. And to think he’s essentially responsible for both JPs and Bellas parents’ deaths and he’s still the only one left waking free. Scary times...

The funeral felt very underwhelming and rushed, it’s as if no one cared about the death and even JP showed little emotion. I’m so mad that the mother didn’t tell JP she was with Eman when she called him, he would’ve at least had a clue.

But it doesn’t excuse JP from doing his job; he’s a damn police agent. So how about investigating your own mother’s death??? It’ll be almost nearly impossible but maybe find out what drink did she have, etc...and for the love of god start protecting and looking after your sister!!!!

Simon is dirty; period. Had no care that Pene dumped him; he’s becoming colder and colder as each episode goes by, a truly ruthless human being. He’s actually reminding me of Eman. They resemble each other a bit. Will he be one two faced like him?

I agree with what RGV said earlier....when I saw Mike had to survive and complete this mission at Ignacio’s place, I thought “this is not good....he’s in complete danger” and not just because Iggy is a sick freak who can kill anyone with a gun shot whenever he pleases, but because we all kno Mikes weakness is another hunting game like in the military....imagine he has to go through that again? Complete mental breakdown. And Marcia spells all sorts of drama and bad trouble headed his way...if she seduces him, and Danny or Ig find out, he’s a goner as they’ll be jealous. Or Simon will find out about Mike and purposely rat him out as Chick suggested, and he’s still getting whacked. Either scenario sounds BAD!

On the bright side we all wanted Mike to have a bigger role, it’s what we’ve been asking for and now that he finally contributes, we’re scared for him. So sad! Hopefully they don’t kill him so soon...I would be pissed, how does an ex Military Savage killer die before three girls (Emília, Andrea and Pene) do. I imagine his role was way more important than at least 2 of them. He’s a man! Come on for god sakes. Lol.

And Steve, you and i have the same prediction about Andrea. I posted yesterday a scenario in which I think Simon will snitch out Andrea to the beasts and he will get her killed by them or he himself will do the honors. He HATES that girl.

Eman did see Andrea and JP hugging together at the funeral. There’s no way she’s safe. So I agree Steve, either Simon or Eman will tell the other beasts about her association with JP. She’s toast!

Mike should at least last a little longer but I’m starting to doubt it myself. Steve, you make an interesting case...if there’s anyone who can or will expose Bella’s secret operation friends to get them killed to leave her alone, it’s Simon. From the very beginning he’s never liked their plan to be involved either.
 

This TN is going to end the way it started. With JP and Bella left alone on their own and them being the only two working together as the rightful team and couple. They were meant to work together and hunt down their enemies all along! It’s going to be a game of hunters and survival from this point forward. JP and Bella will fight for their lives and make it out alive even by going through hell together!

JP will need a lot more action to get his hands dirty and start shootin’.
 

Lucas. Yeah, JP needs to do something more daring than talking on the phone and arresting the chick he was banging.
1. Get a Gun
2. Learn how it works
3. Practice fighting with maybe hmmmmm who would be good ?......Yeah MIKE
4. Turn off your phone for a few hours
5. Back up and take an objective look around and
6. Take an IQ test to see if you have the horsepower up there to do all this.
 

Granted, Simon has been pretty unlikeable since day 1. Still think Simon is trying to con the con men, although far less sure than I was yesterday.

Steve, I hadn't thought that Simon may indeed "rat" Pene out to the beasts. That is a very sobering and disturbing thought. In my heart, I have always wanted Mike and Pene together, two indivuals scarred and abused who find salvation for and in each other. To have Mike used as a bait dog and not survive would be unimaginable to me.

JP does need to hone his skills Kirby. Practicing with Mike seems a good idea.+

Lucas and Steve, I might sound callous but I prefer that if only one has to survive, it's Mike instead of Andrea. Andrea has done her share of bad deeds. Mike has done none that we know of.

Elsa, thank you for remembering the phone. I briefly wondered if it were recording Eman killing Patricia and was surprised Eman didn't take or destroy it.

We all figured that Gloria wouldn't make it, but I didn't figure Eman would do it in her own home. At least JP noted there are no bruises on her body. Sure hope he investigates. Elsa, glad you mentioned Gloria's phone. Missed that.

I have a feeling this TN won't have a happy ending, but what I'd like to see is Mike and Pene retired on some tiny island where they run a B&B. I also want JP and Bella to corner Eman, but not kill him. Haul him off to a maximum security prison.

What's Simon's motivation for turning to the dark side? He was hyper straight in the beginning, even wanting to go after Bella for killing a rapist/pedophile and he was so loyal to JP when he thought his partner had been fired. Now he wants in with the beasts? It makes no sense to me. I'm still hoping he's only undercover dirty.

Yay, Pene is looking good with her hair loosened.

Bela_Ep_59 Careful with them Wagons.

Recap recrap: Gloria mysteriously falls off the wagon when her seat belt was fastened and she had an aisle seat. Nobody suspects she was murdered. Mike singlehandedly fights off a whole platoon of Rabid Nicaraguans even equipped with farm harvesting tools to win a job at Iggy's. Much to the delight of Iggy's daughter who is probably at Victoria's Secret buying everything in the store in her size right now. Pene dumps Simon when she finally has a bit of carnal success with Mike. And everybody but his Mom and the rest of CDMX thinks Simon is dirty now.

Ric goes to see Senator at his request. Ric figures he wants to talk about the agent that came to talk to him and reminds him that Simon apologized. Senator is worried and wants to talk about one of his friends who is being investigated…Ignacio. Senator wants info but Ric tells him it´s confidential; so the Senator asks how long he´s been working --.21 years. Senator then wonders if Ric wants to give up his retirement since just as he can get Simon fired he can make sure Ric doesn´t get his retirement. Ric asks if the Senator is threatening him, but the Senator tells him that he is just being forewarned to think about his family and their future.

Meanwhile back on the hoochie ranch Ig and daughter Marcia talk to a new man who looks like a hobo. Ig tells him that what they do there is out of pure heart and then tell him to go change his clothes. After the man leaves, Ig reminds Marcia tha he told Dillon/Mike that he wanted 3 men; so Marcia tells him that Dillon is working on the other two. Ig then tells Marcia to go have fun .

Simon is at Comeback and stops Bela as she shows up. Bela notices that he looks very different. Simon asks what is going on with Pene; he gets huffy..he wants an explanation!! Gets into a big confrontation and she throws him down. Simon warns Bela that she should think about what happens when she does that to a fed. She ends up in jail. Simon tells her she won't manipulate him. Pene shows up and asks Simon why he did that to Bela. She wants to see her, but Simon refuses. He asks why she broke up with him. Oh, you're too nice, Simon, right? Boring?

Emi is home alone trying to cook and losing her marbles.

Simon reminds Pene that she insisted on formalizing their relationship and then she changed her mind. Pene tells him she got tired of waiting and being used for sex only. Simon tells her he wants the truth; if she tells him, he might free Bela. Pene tells him she has started a relationship with Mike and asks if he will now let Bela go. Pene insists that Simon let Bela go. Ric comes so Pene tells him what Simon did. So there Simonize suck on that for awhile doofus.

At the ranch, Mike talks to Ram and introduces himself. Dan comes in and asks Ram what he said. Mike tells him he didn't say anything.

JP and Andrea walking. She asks about Bela then tells JP that things will pass...she then tells him she loves him a lot. Oh Noes, JP you hunk, everybody Luuurves you.

Ric questions Simon but Simon gets sassy so Ric tells him to get out of his office.

Andrea and JP kissing and are interrupted by Pene who needs his help. Mexican doors are never equipped with locks.

 

Two

Ig out in the woods with some men. Ig talks to the men about his dream...not to feel pain, illness, sadness. Today they will be part of that; they will play a game…he is sooo happy. Each one will represent misery, pain, poverty. He tells them to hide...today they will stop feeling pain. As the 'Game' starts the men are running through the woods and Ig shoots them in the back with a hunting rifle, shouting that is how he gets rid or poverty...


Ram shows Dan a serum but he doesn´t know what effects it will have. Dan insists on having some, so Ram suggests Dan just take one shot. Dan takes a shot and doesn´t feel anything yet. So Ram tell s him it´s not immediate.

Eman with Emi in bed. She likes how it feels to have him there. Emi asks if he is going to work so Eman reminds her she wanted space. Emi has changed her mind, she doesn´t want him to leave. Eman doesn´t want her to think that he is taking advantage of her.

JP goes and lets Bela out and they have a little chat. JP tells Bela that he can´t believe Simon would avenge himself with her because of Pene. As she exits the cell, JP remembers being there with her before....when they ended their relationship. Bella asks how he is; so he says good. She then asks about Andrea ..if she is giving him support. JP says yes. Bela tells him he should give himself an opportunity with someone else. JP wonders why she is saying that .. he doesn´t believe her. Read between the lines JP. “If you sleep with her I WILL kill both of you.”

Bela sees Pene and has a little girl to girl cry as Pene hugs her..Pene tried to do what she could so she went to JP, but tha isn’t why Bela is crying. Bela says she should have never fallen in love with JP. She got tired of lying to him and he was always reproaching her. Pene reminds her that she knew it was JP or revenge, one or the other. Bela knows but she can´t stop her mission.

At the ranch/pharmaceutical lab, Dan is going crazy. Ram tries to calm him down. Ig asks Ram how he could give that to his nephew. Ram tells him Dan wanted to try it...he even asked for more. Ig asks Ram if he thinks he is stupid. Ramiro is smart enough to not answer that one.

Simon tells Ric that he was just doing his job regardless of what ties the person has.

JP and Andrea having coffee out on the lanai. She asks if Emi went back with Eman and if that is what has him upset. JP tells her about what Bela said…that she wants him to fall in love again. Andrea assumes Bela was talking about her. JP admits yes, but tells her that he is in love with Bela. Andrea understands and reminds JP that she is just starting over and is in no hurry.

Pene and Bela in the kitchen at home talking about JP and Andrea. Bela knows he likes her. Pene asks her if she is sure of what she is doing. Bela wants JP to fall in love with Andrea...that´s the only way she can get him out of her system.

Eman tells Emi that he is now complete because she is back with him.

Ric comes out and Andrea tells Ric that she thinks JP should take a break, but Ric wants to expose all those criminals. When he asks if JP is with him, JP says yes.

The beasts talk and wonder how many copies of the video there are. Ig wants to get rid of all those who have a copy. Eman tells them Bela doesn't have that many friends…only the two that work with her and JP. Ig thinks those are the ones they should target.

 

Three

Ric calls Simon over at work. Ric tells Simon that will be the last time he disrespects him. Simon tells him it was just a joke, but Ric tells him that reporting his own boss is not funny. He fires Simon.
OK Douche, your former girl is hopping Mike, you just got fired, and the beasts will find you a huge liability now that you don't have a badge. Do they want that 15 Mil back now?

Oh My...and now would be a perfect time to go see Bela again and let her really whip your punk ass.

Ig is debriefing Dan after he tested the latest creation from Iggy Spice Labs. Ig goes to see Dan and asks how he is. Dan is better. Ig thinks Ram was stupid to give him the serum and so was Dan…stupid. He thinks that this got out of control and Dan gave them a good scare. Dan tells him that they are working on the serum he wanted, but Ig emphasizes that it is their serum because they are partners. Dan has what it takes to be in this business. Ig knows he will not live forever, He wants Dan to take care of Marcia the way he does. He asks Dan for one more favor …and asks if he remembers Isabela.

Ric shows up at Comeback as Bela is working out. He needs to talk to her. She assumes it´s important. Ric knows she has an issue with the beasts so he wants to join forces with her and JP to unmask the beasts. She agrees and hugs him.

Hugo sneaks in and unchains Ramiro and tells him to leave, NOW , then looks through a notebook.

Ig introduces his head of security to Simon and Senator..Oh CRAP!! He tells one of the men to find out who helped Ram. After the men leave, Ig then asks Sen how they will take care of the situation their mole Simon, got them into.

JP and Andrea at a BAR. Must be reminiscing about Pickle? Bela comes in and greets both with a kiss. Bela talks to Andrea and JP and asks how things are going. Bela tells Andrea that she is a good person and then tells her JP can be stubborn and that she is glad they are together, but Andrea tells her that they are not together.

Mike and Simon secretly meet outside and talk. Simon tells him he is undercover but Mike doesn't believe him. Neither do we, as he is fired.

Dan and Marcia are together. Marcia wants the serum, but Dan refuses so she starts shouting to her daddy. Dan gives her one drop. It messed her UP. He puts her to bed, but the effect starts wearing off. She says she is getting very hot so he gives her some water. He lies her down so she won't go through what he went through. He tells her to breathe. She wants to have sex. He agrees and goes to close the door, but Marcia wants to make love to Dillon/Mike. Who Knew?

Mike calls and tells Pene that Simon was there. Pene asks what he does there so Mike tells him Simon said he was undercover. Pene doesn’t know anything about Simon since they have talked. Mike says that the situation worries him, but what puzzles him is that, if Simon were lying, he wouldn't be alive still.

Marcia gets loose and finds Mike. Mike/Dillon tells her she is just a child....he could end up in jail. Dan comes and asks what Marcia was doing with Dillon…they go inside and go at it.

Ig tells Simon that it is very important that he find that person (Ram).
 

Last tidbit

Ig, Simon, and Senator. Ig explains that he is working on a serum that can be combined with his coffee so that people can have a pleasurable experience. The only thing is that the man who came up with the serum escaped. Ig isn't worried about Ram reporting him since he has Ram’s family, so Simon asks why Ig still wants to find Ram.

As Daniel and Marcia are trying to get dressed, Igster walks in. Ooooo this could be messy. Those lockless doors are fun aren't they?
 

Kirby, your recap was far and away superior to last night's episode.

"Pene dumps Simon when she finally has a bit of carnal success with Mike" was my hands down favorite but also enjoyed "a little girl to girl cry" and "Iggy Spice Labs".

Last night, I was very uneasy during the show. I kept looking at the clock, just wanting it to end. Mike and Pene are in imminent danger and I'm very afraid for them. I am going to be ticked off if Bella goes off blissfully into the sunset if Mike and Pene (her real family for all intent and purpose), meet tragic ends.

Did my eyes deceive me or did we actually see a rather full house at Comeback??

"Ig then tells Marcia to go have fun". My skin crawled. I halfway expected her to be the shooter. While the shootings were grizzly enough, did we really need to learn that is how Ig deals with poverty? Basta writers. Basta.

Are we really supposed to believe Simon is obsessed with Pene now?? I'm still thinking he might be a lone ranger on a crusade of his own but purposely getting fired was stange in any event.

When Simon saw Mike, I think he was hedging his bets. I'm relieved Mike told Pene and I hope JP finds out quickly.

Ric has joined the fight? Something else ringing the alarm bells. Ric seemed to be the epitome of law and order and now he's going rogue?

I really despise seeing Emi and Em. I felt as though she was really trying to live her life as best she could, free of Em. Now she is crushed and completely under his spell.

I was ambivalent too about Ric coming to find Bela to join forces. Is he just now realizing that if he waits much longer there will not be any bad guys to help her kill?

BTW did anyone else notice the underlying, selfish Bela, Me, Me, Only Me, reason Bela admitted for encouraging JP and Andrea? It is the only way her broken heart will heal, to see those two together.

NOT so that JP can finally be with a normal Earth girl, and be happy. Not so that Andrea can finally be with a guy who will love and cherish her,

So what the hell is going on with Simon? If he’s already gone fully bad why didn’t he just rat out Mike to the beasts as soon as he saw him working for Ignacio? And then he said to Mike he would’ve done it already if he was truly working for them, but he’s not because he’s undervover (which is a lie)??? So I’m not understanding what his motives are yet.

And finally JP and Bella are gonna work together as I predicted yesterday that they would. It’s exactly what needed to happen anyway because soon they'll only have each other and no one else to go to. Now that Ricardo is in on the mission, he needs to let JP visit Bellas gym and let him train with his girlfriend if he wants to start kicking ass. Get that man a pair of guns and put him in action, Ricardo! Bout damn time! Don’t hold back any longer!

Also now that JP and Bella will work together, this is where Andrea will die. She’ll try so hard to prove herself to JP and impress him by working alongside him and Bella, that she will want to be involved in one of these missions and get some action of her own, that she’ll get herself killed in the process by trying to save JP or Bella in a massive gun fest. Take it to the bank!

Eman and Emi; yuck. How stupid can Emília be.....took her mother’s side and decided to break up with him, now that she’s dead, she immediately goes back to him? Makes no sense, what a bimbo. And once again JP has no care at all!!! What is wrong with this dude and leaving his family behind!!!! Did it with his father even though he was evil, did it with his mother, now his sister is next....

Marcia is so HOT, but needs to calm her tits. I wonder what her fate will be. And Daniel getting it on with her after being drugged, double weird....that girl makes it too tempting; cannot be avoided. I think she gets Mike to fall for her games tonight!





 

Lucas, but at the very end, Marcia and Dan were struggling to get dressed after their playtime and Ignasty walked in, Did he see enough to get a clue? I think if he found out there would be a major blow up. Either because even HE would see the ICK factor, or because he doesn't want anyone else getting into his private stuff, not even his Nephew Danny.

I just wonder what her fate will be and what Mike might do with her.
 

Kirby, Bella is definitely all about her. Self centered to say the least. She can shed a few tears for lost love (all of her own making) but has yet to show even the slightest hint that she has any remorse or culpability for her part in picking off the beasts. I know she felt it was something she needed to do, but I think most "normal" folks would have some pang of guilt? Further proof the bird is broken.

Lucio, "Simon has everyone confused. Probably himself too". Yup, count me in on that. I have a nagging feeling he is still "good" and is trying to alienate everyone while he goes solo trying to bring down all the beasts by himself.

Lucio: You summer it up nicely about Simon. I think even he’s confused himself; hence why we are all confused. He seems to not know what he wants or is doing at all. How does he even expect to help the beasts now that he’s been fired from the FBI? He will not know anything that JP is up to.

* Ig telling the beasts that if he has flinched yet at those he has killed. he is certainly not going to do so in killing others.

Did you all notice the look on Simon's face when Ig told the Senator he wasn't worried about Rma ratting him out because he had Ram's family locked up too? Simon had a look of disbelief and then he asked why Ig still wanted to find Ram. I'm still thinking Simon is trying to take the Senator and Ig down on his own.
 

RGV you made me think of an interesting scenario now that you bring up Simon again....

What if he discovers before anyone else does, what Eman does and is up to with the other beasts? Since he’s pretending to be with them, they might fill him in on Eman and even invite him to their meetings with him. Where together they all talk about taking down Bella and JP and Simon overhears them and BOOM, the truth comes out about Eman that way!
 

If the scenario I just suggested actually happens, then SIMON will turn out to be the biggest genius of this TN. I think he’s trying to get to the bottom of all of this before JP so that he gets all the credit and Ricardo respects him again. Remember JP wants to prove that all the beasts are linked together too; and perhaps Simon knows that....so he’s jumping ahead of JP by joining forces with them.

Lucas, I see a dark end for Simon (speculation not spoiler). I still think he’s towing the line (although precariously). If he does align himself with the dark world, I believe he is capable of saving someone/doing something to redeem himself.

Andrea isn’t quite playing a wait and see game. Rather than hiding and having him seek, she is in plain view. Every moment. I’d play a bit hard to get. She is at his beck and call yet JP admittedly still loves Bella. If you can’t erase someone from the one you love’s mind, try a different tactic.

I surfed in and out as usual, but this show is getting too dark and nasty for me. When you start missing everyone on Amor Vino, you know things are bad.

That last scene of weird Marcia pulling Mike into her room....was... just... weird. And then, Mike escapes , and Dan goes into the room . I am just about done with all the varied and sundry depravity.

Simon did not immediately expose Mike, so he must not have actually gone to the dark side.

I don't know who will be left standing at the end, but I hope that Mike and Pene survive. They took on Bella's fight and have been in constant danger ever since.
 

Susanlynn, you can't ask for more staunch allies than Mike and Pene.

And thank you for commenting on the previews or in this case, lack thereof everyone. I haven't seen any all week. Based on what we saw last night, I'm thinking that is a blessing.

I sense that the Senator seems a bit more stable mentally than his predecessors. And a bit less bloodthirsty. Ig is hanging around far too long, time for his sharpshooting to come to an end and get onto the next.

Still not sure why Em hasn't done away with Bella yet.

Pretty sordid stuff, but I did find a few laughs. Like when Mike escaped with from Marcia and that stupid adopted cousin ran right in happily to take his place. What a sicko.

Laughed at Simon too. Now that he’s bad to the bone, he's wearing dark shades to show it. I'm still betting that he's not really dirty though. But now Ric is looking fishy.

Emi feels lost after the loss of her mom and is naturally vulnerable now to all Eman's "loving care." Poor kid.

Lucas, I totally agree with Niecie in that Ric is looking a bit suspicious.

He was the straight arrow through and through. He went from total denial in believing Bella even had anything to do with the beasts to joining her. He wanted his team to do their jobs and went strictly by the book. Quite a stretch.

Over time though Ric has began believing in JP and supporting his plan, ever since he agreed to let him be undercover and pretend he was fired. Slowly he’s noticed and began to realize that Bella has in fact been involved all along. Hasn’t been a complete change if you ask me.

I agree with RGV moreso that Ric was just so ticked off by Senator threatening him and telling him to leave Ignacio alone, that now he wants to unmask those two. The Senator even gave him reason to believe they’re crooks who work together after saying Ignacio is his friend.
