Soraya and Mateos are being wined and dined, Mendiata shows and says they are going to Bogota, Black Hand wants her to be first lady, hooking her up with the best candidate.

Diabla is having no luck finding Mendiata.

Mari and Titi tag team diaper and food with the baby, Titi falters on the poop smell, but gets a call, it's Villa, he has confirmation Diabla is alive, and it's Titi's fault.

CG wants to know who her new boss is, no one, she is now head TEA of Colombia,
(heaven help us all).

Albeiro takes CM home, why isn't Hilda here? she asks, he'll explain on the way.

CG says she can't be boss, her family, Brandon pushes, she'll talk to them, he gives her 24 hours.

they enter Mateos and Soraya's phone numbers into the data base, nope, next step, they'll try fingerprints.

CG and Santi agree to meet and talk.

Hilda and CM hug, etc. is there a howl in the background?

Mendiata shows Soraya a pic of Alfonso, the candidate, and his girlfriend, and... we'll ruin her reputation, say she had an affair with her ex, it's all arranged.

we see a scene of Alfonso Berrio ?? at his campaign office when his secretary Nelly brings in his fiance Ana Paula, who brings a copy of their wedding invitations for his approval, nice couple.

Soraya is still curious about how they will pull this off but Mendiata assures her it will be no problem, they are following her, everyone has an Achilles heel.

ok, Diabla spoke of this guy who pulls the political strings and gave him up to her cell mate, but now that she has lost everything, she is trying to get in touch with him, earlier the guy she was married to, Anibal, was the town mayor and this guy used to come see him once a week and she is trying to remember his name and keeps coming up with Mendiata.

I'm still a bit confused, because when Diabla was trying to remember some name that she wanted to give Calvo, she tried three names, all starting with A. I assumed she was trying to come up with "Albeiro." Or are you talking about a different time when she was trying to come up with a name?

However, we all saw how confronting BPN worked out for Rivero & Garcia when they tried to bring him down.

4.) Diana & Blue Eagle making a good couple.

5.) Mommy Amuhada considering her options now that Gomez Labrador is the new President.

I think Mendiata's first name is Álvaro.

interesting, but over the weekend I watched Friday's show at the Telemundo site and all 5 segments had english captions, other episodes I checked had spanish.

on Friday, Albeiro was out shopping for food and when he returns and goes up to touch Carlos and compliment him on the shirt (his) and Carlos snaps at him, he says he bought Purina too.

Maybe it's because I've only really seen CataG this season, having missed the first one where she's a prepago and only part of the one where the only Cata is CataM, but I don't think she's such a bad candidate for head of the TEA. I did notice when they showed her walking toward her meeting with the head guy that TEA stands for Traffic Enforcement Agency. That sounds so funny to English speakers, at least this one, because it sounds like they're handing out speeding tickets instead of going after narcos.

Yep, there is definitely going to be a Season 4, which I will definitely miss. They're setting up too many plot points. That candidate for president seems like a nice guy who doesn't deserve blackening his fiancée's name and being seduced by Soraya. He reminded me a bit of Peña-Nieto.

So we don't know yet if Zombie Paola has really made off with the baby? And Cannibal Martín may still be dining on the less tender cuts of two women?

What's up with the flashbacks. They used to be grey, and now they are in color. I preferred grey so I could immediately tell whether they were moving the story along or more of the dragging the end of this thing on.

Novelera, I totally agree with you how funny it is that TEA is Traffic Enforcement Administration, apparently the writers think traffic just means drug traffic, but that's not what we'd think of first.

I sort of thought CataG, after living in the US for 20 years, was an American citizen, but I guess that wouldn't disqualify her to head the TEA in Colombia. How about that she resigned last week? That her family situation is a mess, and she might not be able to concentrate on the demands of this job? That Titi still thinks (I think) that she's a grown-up prepago, not a cop? That her daughter has a baby with a narco? That her husband is the father of someone who doesn't exist? That her son lives in Miami? That her wardrobe consists of the highest heels and shortest skirts imaginable? That she's currently devoting time to convincing her Dad that he's not a canine? That she and her friends have been cursed, so that they and their daughters are dying one by one? Other than these minor quibbles, I think she's a perfect fit for the serious job of running the TEA in Colombia.

And Soraya is a perfect first lady. Sure.

Next, we can have Jota as head of an investment firm, and Martin can always host the Colombian version of Top Chef.

With this show, anything is possible.

Mendiata has been training Soraya and say they will be going to Bogota in a couple of days, also, they have hackers working on Ana, and know all her passwords, they are just waiting for her ex to turn up.

Jota and Vane have finished claiming Ximena's body, but where is Paola, they panic, but find her.

Diabla is in pain, on morphine, with a crying baby, Dani's ashes, and sends Calvo to get a dna sample from Albeiro.

Titi is upset with too many Cata's, he wants Mari to change the baby's name, nope, err... unless you kill CM, Titi wonders how she could go through life being so stupid.

Al heads to Margarita's to find the baby, nope, but on the way back collides a beggar, a beggar who gives Calvo a syringe with some of Albeiro's blood.

Milena shows up to be Soraya's fashion designer, she will get a new wardrobe, and learn how to wear them.

CG and Santi meet at that restaurant, CG spills she was offerred the head TEA job, after Santi's head spins around, he congratulates her, he's impressed his wife is such a badass they offered her the position.

Mari quizzes Titi on where he is going, he finally tells her, the labs, she wants to go, nope, that's his kitchen, hers is here, will she stay home and cook beans like other narco wives, nope, what would your mother think, Titi asks, she's the reason, Mari says.

Santi talks how Mari will always be their baby girl, but she is an adult and has made her decision.

Titi brings up Mari's mother again, Mari spits it out, CataG is a TEA agent, Titi thinks she's lying, nope, he reflects, and can see it's true.

Albeiro limps home where Hilda checks his leg, it's bleeding, Al remembers the beggar.

Calvo gives Diabla the syinge and heads out to get a doc for her.

Santi can see CG wants this job, yep, so she can find Mari and nail Titi, and after thinking over how Mari ended up this way, he insists she take it, but he wants to help.

(I think they are slowly coming to terms with Mari but the real issue here is the innocent baby being dragged into the narco world)

Titi is going over a cliff with his new thoughts on CG, what hurts most is that I let her into my heart, is Mari enjoying this?

Santi reflects on why a young girl would get into the narco world, CG reminds him that she lived it, and about her new job, Santi says, WE have to do it.

Calvo drags home a plastic Surgeon, Manola, by gunpoint, Diabla wants an exam.

So poor Albeiro winds up paying to have his DNA stolen. (I would have taken it for free :-) )

At times it looked to me as if Soraya was having qualms about the plan to ruin the leading candidate, but then she seemed to go with the plan. Her going with the plan seemed more in keeping with what we've seen of Soraya. I don't think I could have believed her having a crisis of conscience.

Well, I've disliked Mariana from the first time I saw her, but now she has achieved true perra-hood.

I wasn't thrilled with this episode, but I guess any episode without my having to see Martin, or Laura, or CataM asking "why him and not me?" for the umpteenth time, or Carlos barking can't be all bad.

Halimacandy, you perfectly described my feelings for Mariana. What a ghastly little monster she is. I'm actually surprised she wanted her baby back. It now looks like a way to hook Titi into providing her with a comfortable lifestyle and an entre into the narco world. I picked up on some annoyance at caring for the baby, and wanting Titi to do 50% of everything. Nothing wrong with a man doing those things with a baby. But with Mariana it feels more like offloading part of the work.

She did have an evil half smile as she watched Titi's love for her mother crash down. Of course, he still does love her, but he's going to want revenge for having been deceived.

Titi knows what Mariana is, but may now be willing to try to kill CataM since he has lost the reason to protect her - being the sister of the woman he loves.

Thanks Deb, another fine recap.

Juanita, you were happy this show didn't have Martin, but it did. In the flashback, he was the lead TEA agent in the raid on Titi and CataG at the hotel. He stupidly allowed Titi to go out the back way, and "captured" Cata, a TEA agent, who had to tell him to handcuff her, so she could keep up her pretense of being an outlaw with Titi. Of course now that Mariana has outed her, CataG will have problems, as Halimacandy so aptly points out.

Cata and Santi met so each could tell the other something important. Santi never even got to tell his stuff (that Soraya and Mateo don't exist). I wonder if he'll remember in the next episode. Santi wants to help, I think they should give him training and let him be an agent, too, but that's unlikely. They were also talking about bringing Sebastian to Colombia, not sure that's wise.

I love Paola's little smiles at Jota. He's still very suspicious of her, even though Vanessa keeps being reassured that Paola's fine. Wake up, Vanne!

I wouldn't want to be the plastic surgeon. Sure they're offering him lots of plata, but after he does the surgery, what are the chances that he might have to be "silenced" as a witness to Diabla's existence and appearance?

Yes, Paola's little smiles are powerful. I don't know which bother me more, her smiles or Jota's presence.

I had a similar thought about the plastic surgeon. It's almost a telenovela cliche that the doctor who treats a bad guy doesn't live to tell the tale. I was stunned when Soraya lived after operating on Black Hand.

Soraya goes over the latest looks with her fashion designer, Milena, who gives Humbertico a call, the best hairdresser in town.

Jota makes arrangements for Ximena's funeral, Laura does her barnyard chants, Paola says they may die but she won't.

Santi drives through a stop sign, crashes and is killed, nope, CG wakes him up in time, he was thinking about Mari getting in the narco business, would you go after her, CG ponders, a girl would start at the bottom and sleep her way up, yep, CG would uphold the law.

Titi is still ranting about CG, but heads to the lab, Mari says what about me, Titi says what about the baby, Mari says we'll take her, nope, too dangerous, get a nanny, so Mari asks for a kiss, first they get it straight that neither like the other, Mari suggests that since they live together maybe they should date or something, Titi gives in and kisses her, no light peck either, he breaks and leaves, she smiles and does a Dani whirl, while Dani's song, chica mala plays. (and where is that first curse)

the doc prescribes antibiotics for Diabla's infected face along with pain killers, he agrees he was never here, Calvo pays him, and he leaves.

BH thinks Soraya is a diamond in the ruff, and Mendiata lets him know she polishes up nice, her anger toward her ex is working in our favor.

Diabla with her new face wrap, (thanks, the blood leaking out around her lips was getting to me) lines out Calvo, get the dna tests done, get a hold of doc Monsalve, and deal the with Octavio thingy (who is a dead guy that knew Mendiata).

CM spends time with the unconscious Hernan.

BH gives Soraya a new car, what?, give the first to your son, BH says.

Hilda and crowd assemble to go to Ximena's funeral, Carlos?, Hilda gave him one of those big pills the manicomio doc gave her, he's out, err sleeping , Vane goes back in to get some baby wipes, Paola follows to use the bathroom, scary.

BH wants to know how Soraya is with the changes, she says it's easy, and quizzes him on how they will pull this off, her replacing the fiancé, he says love sticks till the lies come out, it will be like a soap opera.

Calvo returns with the meds, sneaks in so Hilda doesn't see him, Diabla wants a look, they're going to a funeral? Diabla didn't know about Ximena's death, she looks... (sad?, pale?, dead?, doped up?, all of the above?)

Ana Paula meets her friend Meli at a restaurant, wait the reservations are messed up, she enters to look for her but is intercepted by her ex, Felipe, he wants her to sit, have a drink, one, will you hit me like before, she asks, and he shows her a video of them having sex, she sits.

at Ximena's wake, Paola takes the time to remind everyone of the second curse, who will be next?

Felipe has a request, he wants to spend the night with Ana before her honeymoon, then he will be gone forever, or else he will splash their sex videos all over the social media, she grabs his phone, he says he has other copies.

BH gets Soraya wound up with loving pics of CG and Santi, then lets her know, NO ONE escapes the Black Hand.

So, I suppose we are to assume that Black Hand got to Felipe and arranged for him to conveniently be at the restaurant where Ana was to have lunch with a friend. Wonder how they got the friend not to be there?

It appears to me that Mariana is jealous of her mother. She wants Titi to fall for her as one in the eye for CataG. That girl is the very definition of a Bad Seed. You can see that Catalina G and Santi would have been loving parents. I haven’t seen any of the 20 years in Miami, if they even showed it, but they have alluded to a very normal family life before they returned to Colombia. No telling how she turned out that way. She also promised Titi that, when he kills CataM, she’ll change the baby’s name. She only insisted on the Catalina name for the baby so she could take away the sobriquet Catalina Pequeña from her auntie; i.e. her rival. Twisted sister, indeed!

So both Jota and Albeiro can see how odd Paola is, but they don’t say anything or do anything, just let her hang around.

Yésica is delusional. Sure she can get the DNA proving the child is Albeiro’s, and she probably could use the kid as bait to get him to come after his flesh and blood. But she doesn’t have a mansion and armed guards, nor a witch’s magic to keep him with her.

Novelas do have love triangles and evil other women. But this one takes the cake. Apparently both Daniela, deceased right at the beginning of this show and Mariana were obsessed with taking Hernán Darío away from CataM.

deb, many thanks for another very helpful recap. It sure looks as if all the plot developments, especially Soraya and Black Hand, are pointing toward a season 4. Blech!
I might feel differently had I watched this from the start (i.e., Sin Senos No), but having watched no prior season, I find I simply don't care about the overwhelming majority of the characters. It's hard to believe I'll suddenly care enough to watch another season.

I might note that this may be my last comment for the next few weeks. I'll be traveling, and though I may be able to access CarayCaray and thus keep up with what's happening, I suspect I won't have time to watch any episodes or offer comments about the recaps. Let me just say once again how grateful I am to you for all your wonderful recaps. I've really loved them, usually a lot more than I've liked the episodes.

I thought it funny that after Santi stopped just in time at the stop sign, they then spent about 5 minutes just sitting there, no honking from behind or anything. And he still hasn't told her about Soraya not existing. Also, I think CataG should disqualify herself from the job of TEA chief for the very reason that her daughter is now a wanted narco. But no.

It does seem as if Titi and Mariana will start more of a relationship.

The only one who really knows what's up with Paola is Carlos, can he somehow do something to stop or unmask her? BTW, I thought Paola's bare midriff ripped top funeral outfit was very appropriate....

I think Ana Paula should tell her fiance about the tape, and if it gets released to social media, they'll deal with it. She should also go to the cops and say she's being blackmailed, and get Felipe arrested. The only thing she should NOT do is spend a night with Felipe. Of course that's probably what she WILL do.

I got the feeling from the conversation between Mano Negra and Mendiata that they're also tricking Soraya somehow, not sure if that's true.

Yes, a face transplant. Wonder if Dr. Monsalve will do it, and then survive. Yésica didn't know about Ximena, I wonder if she knows about the curse(s). Maybe she heard about the one with the daughters while Dani was still alive, can't remember.

The actor playing Albeiro got to rest for a few weeks while he was unconscious. Now it's the actor playing Hernan's turn. I wonder how much he gets paid to lie there in bed?

novelera, they didn't show much of CataG's perfect life in Miami, but Mariana was smoking marijuana on the sneak, she made an interesting pipe out of an apple, and on the way to Colombia they were traveling with Albeiro and she stuck her stash with Albeiro's stuff at the airport and he got arrested, and it came as quite a surprise to CataG and Santi later on when they realized what she had done.

I didn't really get the mix up at the restaurant but I'm guessing Ana's friend is at another place.

Hombre, I think Diabla knows about the curses, when her and Calvo were perusing through Hilda's stuff in her house where they later found Margarita and the baby, she knocked something over and the 2 curses written on paper that the girls found at Abigail's fell out (I don't have a clue why they were there) and she read them thinking that Hilda had originated the curses but realized that it included her daughter as well, so probably not.
