Here are some of the things that happened in Thursday's episode. Please add (and correct as needed).
Deivid and Chucho help Diego transport the wounded Circe back to Diego's place. Diego cleans and bandages her wound. He tells her she can't leave until she's out of danger (not just from the fairly minor wound but also from José?). She's delighted that she can stay with him.
Fernanda and Isa talk. Fernanda advises Isa to stay with Corona, now that he's behaving himself. Forget about Diego. Isa says she keeps hoping that Diego will contact her and that they'll get back together. Fer tells Isa that she changed Diego for the better, but only for a while. "We are who we are."
José comes to see Jim and wants to know where he can find Diego and Isabel. Jim says he doesn't know. Isabel no longer works at Babel. She has separated from Diego and is back with the father of her children.
JJ (the Colombian drug lord) is very upset at the loss of his cocaine. He wants to talk to Circe. He's told she's been wounded and is in hiding.
Erick gives Nuria money to pay her debts. He tells her he can do this because "viejas" at the gym give him money.
Salas comes to take Fernanda out for dinner. He brings flowers.
Piochas is helping Mateo pack stuff for Gavino to sell. Piochas wants to go after José and kill him. Mateo warns him that the most important thing right now is for no one to know you're alive.
Paloma tells Jim the pregnancy test is positive. Jim is stunned but says he'll take responsibility. He assumes Paloma will keep the baby, but she tells him she wants an abortion. She doesn't want to give up her career, her dreams. She doesn't want the baby, she doesn't like kids. Jim tells her that abortion is not a solution.
Disgusto watches Diana undress. He also hears when she gets a phone call from Chucho. Disgusto hears that she's planning to meet with Chucho that night. Later, as Diana is about to leave, Disgusto stops her, asks where she's going, and tells her she shouldn't go out dressed so provocatively. Diana tells him not to mess with her life.
Marlene calls Zoraida and tells her she's getting married--to Disgusto. Zoraida tells her she's throwing her life away. Disgusto is mixed up with the Gaona cartel. Marlene says that's not true. Zoraida says it is, and that she has proof.
José calls Disgusto to demand the whereabouts of Diego and Circe. José says, "It's their life or yours. You decide."
Alas, Circe finally breaks through Diego's resistance, and the two of them apparently go at it in bed.
Salas and Fernanda have dinner, and Salas gets up his courage to tell Fer how he feels about her. Fer tells him that what he feels isn't love, it's pity. She adds, "I don't believe in love. I don't need anyone by my side. The only thing I can offer you is friendship."
In spite of my being sure Disgusto would interfere with Diana's plans for the night, she and Chucho do get together. She gives him a condom and asks him to kiss her. That's all he needed--biology takes over and they go at it.
Isabel tells Diego that she's going to give Corona a chance. Adios, Diego.
Steve....a very good recap of this show can be found at: 5ftlatina.com/cohete. Can't recall who referred me to it...but she was from this forum.
Anyway, I've been following the series and found the recaps great. There is even a primer on the Turkish character names and enunciation.

here is the wiki page...by its turkish name:
Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem...the link below should work. there are lots of spoilers there.

Thanks, Juanita. That was very generous of you to give us something to chew on.
Well, Diego has now given Circe what she wants. I'm bummed about it. It's way too soon for him to find out he's bedding the woman who killed his brother.
Not sure what the "message" is about Paloma's pregnancy. Jim would make a good father, I think. But a woman who is repelled by the thought of raising a child is not a good candidate for motherhood. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I remember some novela, with Geraldine Bazán, in which she actually got to the clinic to have the abortion and then ran out. If anyone remembers which one that was, I'd be pleased to know. So many of them just run together in my head.
I think Disgusto might have actually tried to prevent someone besides he himself bedding Diana if his phone hadn't rung with the threatening call from José.
Thanks, novelera, for your insightful comments. I too was bummed out by Circe's finally breaking through Diego's good intentions. I suppose it was inevitable, but.... However, I think it will nonetheless be a while before he finds out that Circe killed Eliseo.
Yes, I'm also wondering where the Paloma pregnancy thread is headed. I don't think I've ever seen someone actually go through with an abortion in a telenovela. Like you, I think I recall someone going to the clinic and then fleeing, but I have no recollection of the novela. Telemundo has pushed the envelope on some current social issues, but I'd be surprised if they change their stance on abortion anytime soon.
I didn't take careful notes while watching this episode--just some scribbles. Perhaps if my notes were more organized or my memory sharper, I'd have remembered that the phone call from José interrupted Disgusto's interchange with Diana.
thanks so much Juanita!
I'm disappointed Diego slept with Circe, and with Isabel giving Corona another chance, pretty much puts us in the mid-novela doldrums. I think Isa's terms for reuniting are that Diego is a free man with no one coming after him, how would that ever happen?
speaking of Corona, off to work in his 15 year old duds, he plays the guitar about as well as he sings, right? nice of Jim to have created a job for him.
hmm, Jim said earlier that he would reach out to people he knew to help Isa find a job and last night I think she said she was a clerk at a hardware store.
yep, Marlene is going down with the ship, everyone that knows Disgusto is telling her the same story.
seems there was an abortion in a novela but I can't really pin it down, maybe Passion Prohibida, any way a search turns up Sin Senos No, Catalina had one, of course, (I didn't remember this).
nett- I'm really enjoying this, as well as Kat's detailed recaps.
this is interesting,
the original title of this novela was Muhtesem Yüzyil: Kösem meaning "Magnificent Century", as for Kösem,
"Kösem Sultan was brought to the Ottoman palace as either Bosnian or Morean slave and given the name "Mahpeyker," meaning moon-like face in Persian language for her beauty. As she had a smooth face, she was called Kösem. In old Turkish, the name Kösem also means a sheep leading the herd."
(from an article on the real Sultana's life)
JJ is an interesting character, Circe was expecting him to fix this mess, nope, SHE needs to get his merc back, or else.
Just remembered something I thought last night watching Paloma and Jim's scene. To me it seemed irrational of her to tell him about the pregnancy when she had no plans to give birth. She tried to make a hero of herself by saying that she was NOT going to trap him into marrying her and playing "happy families" and that this wasn't a life she wanted anyway. But she didn't plan to be a mother. So, why not just keep your trap shut and have the abortion?
Thanks, Juanita. I missed watching last night.
I agree with Fer. Diego is a good guy, but he's back where he started when the show opened. And now Circe will never ever ever let him go.
I usually see the last few minutes of each episode as I wait for to begin. I love the costumes and the relatively clear language, free of jargon and words Telemundo deems unacceptable for our gentle ears to hear or our pure eyes to see. I keep wishing that I could watch Sultana, but I can't stand seeing the characters lips moving one way while the sound track goes off in a different direction. It drives me crazy. I've never been able to tolerate dubbed versions. Some are better than others in keeping the words we hear close to what the lips seem to be saying, but I've never found one that didn't bother me. It might not matter to me so much if I weren't trying to learn Spanish, but I am, and I need all the available cues, including watching people's lips.
Hmmm...I seem to have dipped my keyboard into some invisible ink. In my message about why I won't watch Sultana, I said that I often see a few minutes toward the end of each episode as I wait for Falsa Identidad to begin. Somehow, Falsa Identidad was invisible. Sorry about that.
Novelera, I think the novela who where thinking of with Geraldine Balzan was " Victoria" with Victoria Ruffo and Arturo Pinoche.
Victoria"s husband after 25 years of marriage left her for a younger woman. One of her daughters had anorexia. The other contemplates an abortion. She starts her own baking business and finds happiness with a much younger man. I liked it because the plot lines were so realistic.
Just wanted to thank everyone for the summaries for Falsa Identidad. the are much appreciated.

Steve...I too am enjoying this one. Wish I remembered more from high school history. Just trying to keep up with the characters and their motives is quite a chore. Lots of intrigue.
Juanita I too am learning Spanish but somehow...able to manage despite the dubbing issues...but totally understand where you’re coming from. It’s not easy
iD
I stopped watching ID in earnest....just watch a little in hopes that Marlena returns the cash Disgusto stole. And to see Circe and Disgusto get what they deserve....from a Diego
Nett.
Friday
Diego works on unraveling himself from Circe, no regrets, just friends, Circe, sure, for now.
Marlene unravels as well, holding on to her dream.
Chucho and Diana do it, both are amazed, Diana picks at what Chucho does for work, (and is Chucho lying?)
Corona shows for work, Paloma calls him a clown, Marlene won't work with him, Jim smooths things and Porfi rocks with his now electric guitar, (but wouldn't the guys rather watch the girls?)
Isa brings Diego news of the aunt, sees him kissing Circe, this tears it, (but she makes a good point, none of Diego's plans have ever been "their" plans.)
hmm, the dressing room scenes are shades of "Flor Salvaje" (same writer), Porfi won't mind if he changes there too.
Amanda and her friend (now with some hair) video flirt/comfort while doing homework.
Gavino talks strategy and bribes with his new lawyer who stresses the importance of public opinion, if things go south, the Governor will back out.
Disgusto tries to ferret out Circe's location for Jose, (got to say I feel some sympathy for him being trapped in a car with Joselito), no luck, but wait, Ramona spills Diego took her, Felipa and Ramona ponder on Disgusto being a rat.
Marlene is on Diana for spending the night with Chucho, Disgusto overheard the call, but wait, I was dressing, Diana says, was he spying on me?
Thanks very much, deb, for this helpful account of Friday's episode. Probably the most surprising thing for me was Corona's apparent success at Babel. Actually, throughout almost his entire performance, I kept expecting him to collapse. The doctor had warned him not to exert himself, and he was nonetheless doing so in spades. Oh well....
Sorry I've been MIA lately, but I'm keeping up, pero me cuesta. I feel like Nett--can't wait for certain people to get their come-uppances and tired of the violence and focus on narco traffic. Juanita--I'll still be doing the Tuesday 20th recap, though.
I'm so sorry that Fernanda blew off Salas. He will probably have to die saving her for Fer to realize what a great guy he was. But she's right in one sense--she needs to learn what it's like to earn your own way through life and be happy with your situation. Many of us have done it.
Addendum: re Corona and his voice. I think the fact that he, at least now, can't sing a lick is part of the plot. Jim, after auditioning him, said he could play between numbers, but "porfi" not to sing.
He played golden oldies and was really rocking the audience. We'll see if future performances wear him out.
Well, my DVR failed. I don't have super fast internet so it was hard to watch the epi at home. So, I went to the library with what I thought was a good pair of ear buds, and they wouldn't work. So I watched the Friday epi with subtitles and was surprised Isa found out so quickly about Circe and Diego.
I don't hold out much hope that Marlene the Idiot will catch on to the only way Disgusto could have heard everything she said was listening through a partially opened door, and that she was dressing during the phone call.
Once the epi appears on On Demand I'll try to catch Porfi's musical debut at Babel. It's just weird. You can watch Friday's show online, but what was available on On Demand was Thursday as the last one.
