Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 73, Tuesday, December 25, 2018; Robert asks Julieta to Renew their Wedding Vows

[I’ve been too busy with Christmas and too tired to do much of a recap today, but here are a few highlights. Feel free to discuss away whatever I’ve missed mentioning:]

Robert continues to woo Julieta at her office. He brings her a nice slinky black dress and they both dance. He presents her with some new wedding rings and asks if she wants to renew their wedding vows. She says yes.

Dani and Gabe come over to tell Blanca that Hermoso is missing. Blanca says she can help out by putting up flyers around and at her dance class. Eugenio wheels himself in and Daniela comes to hug him. Daniela asks if he had an approximate date that Tulio would be done with his rehab. But Eugenio says he just can’t remember. Blanca seems a little concerned but says it’s normal to forget some dates after all the information he has received while gone.

Vicente and Axel get involved with the search for Sebas. Vicente blames this situation on Pancho.

Catalina finds a lovely flower at her desk. She asks around if anyone saw who put it there. Turns out later it was Tavo. And he wants to know if she will have dinner with her.

Some “kidnappers” find Sebas and call Susana to come get him, don’t call the police and bring cash. She and Pancho arrive later and Susana hands them a large envelope full of money. They hand over Sebas, take a look at the money and say it’s too much. They take one wad of money and hand the envelope back. They said they weren’t really kidnappers, they just wanted money to watch the kid. The leave and tell her to take better care of her son. Susana takes Sebas back and then wants to know where he found the dog, unaware that this is “Hermoso”, Gabe and Dani’s lost dog. She says that Sebas can take him home.

Linda goes to see Iker and asks him if he arranged for her mother to walk in on her and Axel. He admitted that it was true, but he didn’t know they were going to walk in as they were kissing. He also told her that he had trusted her when she made her decision to be with him, but she let him down. Linda asks if they can still be friends and he gives a firm “NO” and walks out.

Ari gives Temo more piano lessons. Temo looks overjoyed.

Blanca has Linda helping in the kitchen doing a bunch of chores. Linda says she is not a chef and Blanca tells her that helping out is the least she can do. She begs Blanca not to tell the rest of the family about what happened with her and Axel. Linda’s confiscated phone rings and it’s Axel. She tells him that this is the last time he will be calling.

Blanca gets the family together and is about to announce what happened with Linda and Axel. Robert tries to upstage it by his own announcement. Linda wants to know if it’s another niece or nephew. Imelda says the next child needs to come from Daniela. Then Blanca announces that Linda had been with Axel. The family tells her that this is not a good thing.

After all this, Robert announces that he and Julieta are renewing their vows with another wedding.

At Susana’s Sebas announces he wants to live with his father to Susana's horror.

Thank you, Cynthia, for doing a recap on Christmas complete with a screen cap. You clearly went beyond the call! It is appreciated.

Robert was such a cutie. It was about time Julieta relented.

Yay! Sebas wants to go live with his father. Susana should be overjoyed.

When Linda got back from Italy, she should have moved out. She wanted to still be “friends” with Iker? She is so clueless.

Good morning all!

Cynthia you are a champion to do this on Christmas. Thank you for doing this despite missing time with your family.

Picture perfect screen shot as always. I couldn't help but smile at the debonaire Robert wooing a beaming Julieta. Granted, her office wasn't the perfect setting but he made it so. Can Robert be cloned?

Even though there was no imminent danger for Sebas, I cringed at the entire siege of he, Hermosa and the bad men.

Naturally, Susana and Pancho needed to be separated but this was a hard way to do it.

Linda IS clueless Jarifa! I am not a Linda fan but there was something sad about her expression as she was on the "hot seat" in front of her family that got to me. How humiliating. I like most sides of Blanca, but not this one.

Cat and Tavo are so cute!

Still scratching my head at Ari and Temo. Polita's reaction as seeing their hands touch, trying not to react had me smiling.

At least this was Audi free.

So Eugenio is having memory issues. Aren't we all? :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday. Off and running, company in tow.

Thank you Cynthia!

Diana

Cynthia, I just love your screen shot! And the recap is just as good.

I really enjoyed seeing Robert wooing Julieta. SH egae me a little scare when she hesitated, but she came through and I am so glad that out protag couple is on the road to recovery.

Jarifa, I too an cheering that Sebas will be going to live with his father...they deserve each other. Can Axel go too?

Diana, it would be AWESOME if Robert could be cloned! Can I have one? :-)

Eugenio having memory problems...another PSA? Alzheimer's??

Diana, Dan Arenas could be telenovio material!

RgvChick, this is the second time there has been an issue with Eugenio and his memory so you very well may be right. I love your goat pics!

Good morning Patio! I was tired last night, but not too tired to watch Daniel Arenas's wooing Julieta. He is just a really great actor and has this ability to make the audience swoon and fall in love with him. He's also funny and quite entertaining at times. I had only seen him in one other novela, "Despertar Contigo" and I really liked him then.

As for Sebas, I say, "Move out, go live with your father and let's see how long he can put up with your antics and bad behavior after he's finished playing Disneyland Dad." That kid just gets too way out of control. He's sweet when he gets his way, but horrible when he doesn't get his way.

Isn't Linda a little too old to have her phone taken away? That's something you do to a teenager.

I think Eugenio could have dementia. In one other episode he clearly left the gas on the stove and completely forgot about turning it off. A lot of dementia patients actually leave the stove on forgetting to turn off the flame at all. I remember that is how my great aunt and uncle's house burned down. Thankfully they were both outside when the house caught fire. I hope if Eugenio is displaying these symptoms, I hope he doesn't do anything dangerous.

Cynthia, thank you for an excellent recap. It may be a little shorter than usual but you covered everything of importance.

I don't know what I think of the "sort of nice" kidnappers. Anyway, Sebas was lucky.

Linda and Axel deserve each other and their being related to each other is not such a big deal, really. If they are actually concerned about passing bad traits on to children they can always get some premarital genetic testing. I do wonder where the writers are going to take this relationship. Finding out that they are not really closely related would be a cop-out in my opinion.

I seem to be in the minority but I did not so much care for Robert's wooing Julieta as he did. Maybe. There is no single way for couples to behave and live, and things are not always 50-50, so Julieta and Robert are free to make their own rules, and if those rules work for them and they are happy, then great!

But, personally, I'm a little tired of Princess Julieta.

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and Happy Boxing Day.

:-)

Cynthia - thank you for your recap!!! What a generous gift to us on your Christmas holiday!

Daniel Arenas is doing a great job with this role. He has great potential to be one of Televisa's next big leading men, now that Colunga and Evora are more or less retired. Plus, he has a great head of hair!!!

I am looking forward to los Oppas wearing matching pajamas again.

Why oh why didn't Sebas' situation turn into a Ransom of Red Chief one? And he is still such a brat, telling Susana he still doesn't want her with Pancho. Yes, please go live with your father and give us all a break. #NewYearsResolution

I am not as kind as Diana. Linda was told many times to stop the Axel stuff. She got what she deserved.

I liked how the writers turned the tables on making kidnappers not as bad as they might have been. Their refusal to take all of the money lest they be labeled something they didn't see themselves as, was a nice ironic twist to an otherwise dire situation. Twists like these make the story all the more interesting.

Thanks so much Cynthia. I join with everyone in giving you mega-kudos for doing this on Christmas night. The holidays are usually exhausting for women (for me anyway). More tiring than work. So to pound out a recap too with screen caps is above and beyond.

Can Robert be cloned? Great question Diana. I'm sure there would be a lot of orders for a great-looking, bright guy who also cooks and helps out big-time with the children. Both my daughters married men like that and I feel very blessed that they did.

And let's clone our recappers while we're at it. What a terrific duo. The world always needs more great women.

Thanks, Cynthia. You are the best for gifting us a lovely recap at Christmas. I hope you're now getting R&R.

Yep, if Susana can't bring herself to tell Sebas to quit being rude to Pancho, by all means let him stay with his dad. Somehow I think his dad will come up with 1001 excuses not to take him.

Yay, Julieta and Robert got their groove back.

Saw the Pancho actor, spruced up with a short cut. He cleans up pretty well. Not too shabby.

Uh-oh, will there be a dog custody battle?

Thanks everyone! Yes, I was exhausted Judy. Yesterday I baked 2 pies and made a complete ham dinner. My husband did help me with the cleanup though. My daughter helped too.

You know what I am wondering? Why didn't Gabe and Dani have a nametag for Hermoso? Aren't dogs in Mexico licensed? Do they not do the microchipping? Well maybe Mexico doesn't do that. Or they are just creating more dog drama.

I know that they mentioned somewhere when Dani and Gabriel went back to the pound looking for Hermoso, the employee asked if he had a tag on. Dani and Gabriel had never gotten around to putting even a tag on him . . .

"Dani and Gabriel had never gotten around to putting even a tag on him "
And this couple wants to have a child? Yikes.
