First a complaint. Why do Telemundo’s novelas appear to finish up at the same time? This annoys me. I’d much prefer staggered ones.
Not taking Joselito up on his offer to join forces with him and the Ticos, Mateo leaves the vehicle which was chased by the cops and pushes Joselito into one of the ubiquitous black narcomobiles.
It appears that Porfirio had some sort of job interview and is discussing it with his children during a walk in the park. They run into Paloma and Porfi introduces her to his children. Amanda says she knows who she is: the one who is a friend of her mother and who sends messages to her father.
Marlene and Isa are still at the police department, Jim having taken off. He said he needed time alone. Marlene is all low-esteem about the whole thing. Diego calls Isa and asks her to meet him at his mother’s changarro (the dictionary says small store; but I thought she was opening a restaurant).
Paloma tries to finesse things, telling Amanda that she sends messages to Porfi because they are friends. In full my-hands-itch-to-slap-her mode, Amanda tells Paloma not to treat her like an idiot. Porfi keeps telling her to pipe down. Eventually Amanda tells her she’s the one interfering in her father’s relationship with her mother. Paloma says she doesn’t have to put up with this stuff. She calls her alzadita(big headed). After she leaves her father calls her escuincla malcriada (badly behaved female kid).
Nuria comes out of the room where she was raped. She’s trembling all over, but asks the dealer for the pills, saying she paid for them. He blows her off, saying she’s scarcely began to pay her debt to him. Shaking all over, she calls Erick to come get her.
Baldy (the US cop) finds out Acevedo was released.
Joselito is brought to Gavino. The cartel guys are in a circle outside the ranch house and there’s a bonfire in the center. Gavino tells him it’s time to ajustar cuentas (settle accounts) and punches him in the face.
Isa and Diego meet at Fernanda’s new business. Diego tells her about el pinche gringo. He can’t let her get caught up in this.
Gavino continues punching and insulting José, who begs for his life. Gavino tells him things are only getting started; he wants to enjoy this a while.
Diego tells Isa she should go away with Corona and the kids. She tells him she’s not leaving. And also that she told Porfirio about them being together once again.
Circe tells Flor that there’s un gato encerrado (something fishy going on). She comes up with a plan. She’s going to offer her guys $$$$ if they come up with the person who is Diego’s DEA contact.
Baldy Williams, Mr. Charming 2019, continues to insult Mexican law enforcement. He gets in the face of Circe’s pet detective in DF. The cop holds firm, telling him he’ll only give him information with a court order.
Gavino punches José some more and tells him: “You got me put in jail. You took away my cartel and then didn’t have the huevos to hang on to it." Ramona bursts out that she wants this over and done with. Gavino snarls at her and tells Mateo to take her away. He says this is for men. [I’d say more likely for animals.]
Erick takes the sobbing Nuria away from the drug den.
José shows a little spine. He says loud enough for all the men to hear that Gavino told him the cartel was a family, but he (José) realized later that he was only a peon. It was first him [as second in command]; then Piochas; and now Mateo. He tells them that none of them are going to survive. Este vetarro no quiere ni su propria hija. ¡Nos usa como papel de baño para limpiarse las nalgas¡ (This old man doesn’t even love his own daughter. He uses us like toilet paper.) Mateo moves in and hits him hard, south of the belt line.
Detective Sellout of the D.F. police calls Circe to tell her about Baldy’s visit.
Diego and Isabel make love at the restaurant. We see them through some shoji screens.
At home Amanda snarks some more about her parents separation, apparently not caring about the effect on her brother. Porfi tells him that his mother and he will be just friends.
Diego teases Isa when she says something about their “opening” the restaurant. He asks if she’s heard of feng shui. He tells her this will bring good luck to the place. He wants her to tell Corona what’s up and for the family to leave that house for another. Isa absolutely refuses to leave him ever again.
As part of his torture, Gavino tells José that Circe is in danger and that he told Diego that it was Circe who killed his brother.
Salas asks Fernanda to move in with him, and it appears she’ll do it.
Erick brings Nuria home. Her mother thinks Erick harmed her, but Nuria tells her he had nothing to do with it. All she wants is a bath.
Jim somehow got into Babel (no crime scene guards?) He is distraught. He smashes things and then sets the place on fire. While probably a red herring, it looks like he burned himself up as well.
Gasoline is poured on José. Gavino tells him to die with honor and then puts a torch to him. Lots of horrible screams. Somehow this doesn’t kill him, and Gavino tells Mateo to shoot him.
Felipa is still auditioning for Sin Senos (thanks, deb!) and has about 40 candles going. She senses that José is dead, moans a lot, and burns up his photograph.
Diego comes home to find Circe there. She tells him about Baldy grilling her pet detective. Circe, looking shrewd, asks where Acevedo is. She’s worried he’ll soltar la sopa if they find him. Diego assures her he’s too scared of her to come back to D.F. And then he asks her to promise she won’t go after Baldy.
Gavino wants José’s corpse wrapped up to send to Circe, with a nice moño (bow) on it. He wants her to know the cost of betrayal.
Thanks once again, novelera, for yet another marvellous recap, complete with several bits of Spanish that I didn't know. (And I'm embarrassed to say that I was even thrown by moño, which I confused with mono. I kept wondering why/how Gavino was going to include a monkey along with José's remains!)
Loved your saying "In full my-hands-itch-to-slap-her mode." I'll line up behind you to wait my turn to get a few slaps in.
I hadn't given much thought to what sort of business Fernanda was starting, but I think I thought it was some kind of store. Had it been a restaurant, she'd have been looking for a chef, etc. She never said anything that made me think restaurant. Then again, those windows through which we saw Diego and Isa didn't look like the windows for a store. Hmmm....
Like you, I'm rather skeptical about Jim's dying in the fire. They did leave us guessing, though, at least for now.
And I fully agree with your take on Gavino's saying the events were for men only: "[I’d say more likely for animals.]"
Tonight I felt that Felipa might be too absurd even for Sin Senos.
wonderful recap novelera!
interesting how they weave all the scenes together, with Gavino standing tall as he slowly finishes off Joselito, the others all with their fates uncertain.
is Ramona getting soft?
if there is something good about Nuria's story, the guy didn't give her any more pills.
it's nice that Isa is sticking with Diego, but it's like her kids are no longer her priority, I like how she keeps throwing out Diego's plan (made without her) where she is to go off and wait for him.
"Betty in New York", I thought I saw a bit of promo for this last night, maybe it will follow “Jugar con Fuego”.
deb, I hope you're right about Betty in New York. I am so tired of novelas that bleep every other word!
Hmmmm. Betty. Hasn't the Betty thing already been done to death? Will she have braces again? I'm eager for a novela without narcos, but Betty would not be my first choice.
Thanks, Novelera.
Shudder! Joselito's death was the most brutal I've seen on TV. Gavino's plan to send the charred body to Circe puts him in the ranks of some of the cruelest TN villains ever.
Amanda was wrong of course, but I got a kick out of Paloma being on the receiving end of a hissyfit after all the hissyfits she use to give Isa.
novelera, it may well be true that the Betty thing has been done to death, but not for me. Some years ago, when I started to try to learn Spanish, I bought a much abridged 4-DVD set of Soy Betty La Fea. Even with all the cuts, I enjoyed it a lot. That's all I've seen of "the Betty thing." Thus, I'm looking forward to Betty in NY. Of course, it does matter what novelas Telemundo puts up against it, but for now I'm excited to have the possibility of watching a novela that doesn't bleep every other word and doesn't have the characters say one thing while mouthing something else.
Niecie, excellent point about Paloma's for once being on the receiving end of a hissyfit.
And yes, Joselito's death was among the most gruesome I've seen, and Gavino's plan for the charred remains was way beyond the pale. OTOH, I've been watching Game of Thrones (the guy who cuts my hair was astonished to learn that I was watching it for the first time!). It's far and away the most violent show I've ever watched. People get burned, beheaded, poisoned, stabbed, strangled, etc. etc. in just about every episode. And Gavino's plan for Joselito's ashes reminded me of a perhaps even more grotesque proposal (by teenage King Joffrey) in Game of Thrones. [Since I do NOT want to start a "what's the most grotesque death you've ever seen on TV?" thread, I won't post the details of Joffrey's plan. I will say that he never managed to see it through.]
So there was Yo Soy Betty la Fea. Pretty sure the Colombian version was shown here. Then there was La Fea Más Bella by Televisa and then Ugly Betty on US TV.
That's too many Bettys for me.
novelera, just to clarify, I wasn't denying that there were several iterations of the Betty thing, just that I had seen only an abridged version of one, so I wasn't yet tired of it.
The episode opens by repeating Gavino's instructions from the previous episode, to wrap up what's left of Joselito, put a nice ribbon on the package, and deliver it to Circe. The guy asks for Circe's address, and Gavino gives it to him. He notes with satisfaction that Circe didn't think he knew where she was, but he does.
Isabel comes home, and Porfirio immediately starts telling her that he needs her help, they have a problem. What's the problem? she asks. Porfirio replies that they have no money, they have no work, and Amanda has been very rude to Paloma. Isabel replies that she too has bad news: they have to move from this house as soon as possible.
Baldy Williams (thanks, novelera) tells his boss over the phone that Acevedo supposedly confessed to the murder of Margot Guevara, but when he (Baldy) went to the jail, he was no longer there. He continues, "This case has too many loose ends. However, if I can find Diego Hidalgo or Acevedo, we'll know the truth and be able to solve the case."
Porfirio and Isabel are discussing the situation. Porfi says that if the gringo police have discovered Diego, what's to say that they won't also find her. We have to protect the kids. Amanda overhears some of this discussion and is terrified that Isabel could go to prison. Hearing her say that, Ricas comes rushing out all upset at the possibility that his mother could be a prisoner. Isabel tries to calm them down and tells them that she's not going to jail, there's no problem, everything is fine. Amanda isn't buying this. She again blames her mother for wanting to be with Diego. Porfirio steps up and insists to Amanda that her mother is not to blame, the blame is his. It was because of the way he behaved that Isabel had to leave Alamos. Isabel again tries to assure Amanda and Ricas that everything is fine. Porfirio backs up what she says.
Erick asks Nuria whether the guys at the drug dealer's forced her to have sex with them. She nods yes, and we see her remembering the scene. Erick says he's going to kill them. Nuria tells him that if he goes there, they'll kill him. It's a very dangerous place. Well, if it's so dangerous, why did you go there? asks Erick. Nuria realizes that Erick doesn't understand. "Those pills are the only thing that make me feel good. I need them." Erick wants to help her. He finally gets her to go to sleep. He comes into the hall, and Nuria's mother wants to know what happened. He tells her that Nuria had a problem with the guys when she was trying to buy drugs. Nuria's mother replies, "I wanted to take her to see a doctor, but she said no. I wanted her to return to Monterey and live with me, but she didn't want to." Erick tells the mother that Nuria has a serious addiction problem. "Even though she won't want to, we have to take her to a rehab center. If we don't, the outcome will be tragic."
Diego's contact Frank calls to tell him that the DEA wants to move ahead with the operation tomorrow. He asks Diego exactly where they will hand over the drugs. Diego tells him he doesn't know, the Colombians are pretty close-mouthed, but as soon as he knows, he'll let Frank know. [I keep confusing Frank and Baldy Williams. Why did Telemundo cast two white men with round bald heads in the same novela?]
Circe is with some of the others in the cartel. She asks whether anyone knows anything about Diego. They say no, and Circe comments, "Damn, he's cheating on me"(me ha de poniendo el cuerno). Suddenly a large black car arrives, and the people inside the car start shooting. Circe and the others with her return fire. It's not clear that anyone gets hit. One of the guys in the car yells ¡Viva el cartel del los Gaona! and the car drives off, leaving a package behind tied with a large red ribbon.
Salas, Deivid, and Diego are discussing the upcoming drug operation. Diego tells them that he spoke to Frank. Salas points out that it's almost as if Diego is working for the Americans. Salas goes on to point out that perhaps that's the solution for Diego's problem. If in fact he can hand over two major narcos to the Americans, he should be able to ask for immunity for himself and Isabel. Diego calls Frank and asks for immunity for having robbed the identity of the Guevaras. Frank replies that he can't help him with this. It's too difficult. Diego points out that he's risking his life. Moreover, he reminds. Frank, "You're involved, too, compa"(since he was the one who obtained the dead Guevaras' IDs). Frank then says he'll see what he can do.
The fire at Babel seems to be the top story on all the TV newscast, and everyone is watching TV, including Zoraida, Diana, and Marlene. The newscaster says no one yet knows what caused the fire, and whether anyone is dead or injured. Marlene is so shaken she drops a saucer. She hasn't heard from Jim since he was released by the police, and she's afraid he might have gone back to Babel.
Isa too is watching the newscast about Babel. She then calls Marlene, who had been trying to reach her. Isabel says she has to find out what's going on, and she and Marlene decide to go down to Babel to see what they can learn. Porfirio isn't happy about this. He feels it's dangerous for Isabel, but she insists that she has to go.
Gavino's men inform him that the package has been dropped off. Gavino then calls Circe to gloat and threaten her. He says, "You know who this is, yes? Joselinto. He was the first one on my list. There will be more, including you." Gavino tells Circe that José died pleading for forgiveness and screaming like a pig in the oven. "The last thing he said before he died was your name, Circe. He died thinking of you. That's why I sent the package to you."
Well, it looks like I was mistaken about Fernanda's new business. It is a restaurant. Chucho and Mara come to see Fernanda at the restaurant. Chucho asks whether there's any possibility of his having a job there. Fernanda tells him that Diego has spoken very highly of him, and that she'll be happy to hire him. The restaurant will open in two days, and they need more waiters. Chucho is ecstatic. He hugs Fernanda (after asking her permission). He then asks whether there's any possibility of a job for Mara. Mara makes it clear that she's in Mexico illegally, but that doesn't deter Fernanda. She agrees to hire Mara as well. Mara too hugs Fernanda (after asking permission).
Two guys bring the "package" containing José into a room where they lie it on a table. Circe asks them to leave her alone with him. She remembers what José had said to her the last time they spoke. She recalls his saying that they could have married, had children, had a normal life. Not all this bloodshed. She asks José's forgiveness. She feels that José's death is her fault. She kisses his burnt face.
Mateo too thinks about José's death. He can't sleep and comes into the living room looking for something to drink. Ramona.can't sleep, either. He tells her that he thought she'd be used to all this, since she worked for Gavino. She tells him that the business is like this, and Gavino is like this, but you, Mateo? You have options, Mateo. Ramona says she's not like Gavino, nor is she like Mateo. You gave part of your liver to your son, and you did so out of love. Gavino doesn't care for anything or anyone. Oops. As she says this, Gavino comes into the room.
As Circe is talking to the dead José, Diego calls to inform her that the operation is set for tomorrow. She tells him that she can't talk to him now. Gavino killed José. They burned him alive. Diego tells her that that's all the more reason to get the operation over with quickly so they can leave Mexico.
Baldy Williams continues to look for Acevedo. He comes upon a woman at the apartment building where Acevedo had lived. The woman claims she doesn't know where he is living now. Baldy then offers her money. Suddenly her memory improves, and she suggests to him that he go to Toluca. That's where Acevedo's family is.
Erick comes back to Nuria's apartment. I think he expected that her mother would have her ready to go out for a surprise. However, Nuria had just awakened from sleep. Erick tells her that he and her mother have a surprise for her. She should get dressed so they can leave. When she's out of earshot, Erick tells her mother to prepare herself, that what's coming [presumably a trip to a rehabilitation center] will be difficult.
Marlene, Isabel, Gabi, and Paloma gather outside Babel trying to get information. The police are telling them nothing. The women reminisce about their experiences at Babel, and they vow to support each other. Finally they are told that the fire department has reported that there are no dead, no injured.
Mateo asks Gavino why he burned José when a bullet would have been quicker and easier. Gavino says that it sends a message about how traitors are dealt with. He tells Mateo to stop asking questions and go find Felipa (who is apparently next on Gavino's list.)
Circe, Flor, and some guy get into a car, along with José's corpse, and they drive off. In the distance, Felipa tells a waiting taxi driver to follow their car.
Porfirio calls Mateo. He tells him he was worried that perhaps Mateo had died. He tells Mateo that he's sorry about what's happening with him. Mateo tells him that as long as he's worried about his being dead, consider him dead. "Stop thinking about me. Forget that I exist."
Diego, Deivid, and Salas talk about the danger Gavino poses not just to Circe but also to Diego. Salas tells Diego that the most important thing is for him to stay alive. If he fails to do so, many people will be devastated.
Baldy goes to Toluca and finds Acevedo in a bar. He introduces himself and suggests that Acevedo cooperate with him unless he wants to return to jail.
Porfirio tells Isabel that he wants to leave for Veracruz. He has friends there and knows of a place to live. Isabel says she doesn't want to leave Mexico City. Diego has said he'll find another place for them to live. Porfirio is tired of Diego running their lives. Moreover, Porfirio thinks it's dangerous for the kids to stay in Mexico City. He tells Isabel, "If you don't want to leave, OK, you stay, but the kids are coming with me." "What are you saying?" Isabel asks.
Isabel and three guys go out into the countryside. The three guys bring José's corpse, but then they leave. I think they say that they'll be keeping watch (Aquí, vamos a estar al pendiente, jefa). Circe takes a shovel and begins to dig a grave for José. Off in the background, Felipa watches.
Fabulous recap, Juanita!!! I'm extremely pressed for time today and won't be anywhere near a computer for most of the day. I wish I could write more detailed comments.
I agree how funny it is that no one in telenovelas ever watches TV unless they need to be clued in about a new plot development.
I think Circe can just smell something in the air about Diego. She's pretty intuitive and realizes he's with someone else.
This whole Baldy thing drives me nuts. How can he come to Mexico and threaten Mexican citizens? They haven't shown Acevedo's response to this, but the logical one (I know, this is a telenovela.) would be to tell him to take a hike, kick rocks, whatever your preferred idiom might be.
Amanda just never disappoints, does she?
thanks so much Juanita!
yep, everything is full of uncertainty and churning right along in these last weeks, with Gavino standing tall, didn't he make a deal with Ramona to get Felipa, sounds like he plans to bring her back to the ranch, maybe another bonfire, and hand her over to Ramona, he likes to watch people submit to the horror he creates.
Jim is probably waking up under the bar from his late night bender.
they're skimping on telling us Diego's plan, as if everyone arrives at the exchange point, the DEA appears, and everyone gives up, but Deivid suggests putting together an army, if any of the bad guys get away they will spend the rest of their lives hunting us down, agrees Diego.
not quite sure what Erick sees in Nuria, is it her sincere, honest, innocent, loving personality? but it's nice he is willing to help.
yes Isabela, stay right there in the thick of things.
I'm thinking Amanda is going to get a big dose of reality soon, hope Edgar is in the wings.
interesting listening to Gaby and Paloma chat, their accents are so different.
Many thanks, novelera and deb, for your great comments!
movelera, I loved your observation that no one in telenovelas ever watches TV except when there's a new plot development. So true! It's also amazing that often people call each other to tell them to watch, and the TV program is always exactly at the right place, no matter how much time has gone by.
deb, you may well be right about Jim. And that's why the building didn't completely collapse. And yes, you nailed it, it must be Nuria's sincere, honest, innocent, loving personality that attracts Erick.
Thanks, Juanita. Great job.
I admit I wanted to see Circe shed a tear for Joselito. He dug his own grave by betraying Gavino and going powercrazy when he headed the cartel, but he had a boatload of passion for Circe and would've done anything in the world for her.
I'm siding with Porf. The kids are safer leaving town with him. But Porf, why in blazes can't you get a job and bring some money in the household?
Wondering if Jim is smarter than I think and deliberately staged his disappearance.
Yay, Chucho will be working for Fernanda. I still like him for Diana, but I do admit Gabi's sister seems like a nice girl for him.
Thanks very much, Niecie. I too was glad to see Circe moved by Joselito's death and by his devotion. Indeed, I think she's finally come to realize that she may have made a mistake. And yes, before we get too carried away with Joselito's love for Circe, you're right to point out that we shouldn't shed too many tears for him, he was really a pendejo when it came to his lust for power and his betraying Gavino.
Interesting possibility re Jim.
Here's a barebones account of some of what happened last night:
Nuria keeps protesting that she's not a drug addict, but Erick and her mother take her to a rehab center and leave her there.
Baldy tells Acevedo that if he gives them good info, they can protect him. Acevedo gives him the address of the house where Isa and her family are living, and he tells Baldy that Eliseo was the owner of the house. Acevedo goes there and takes photos.
Isabel tells Porfi that for their children to be safe, it would be best if they were away from her for a while.
Circe calls Diego. He says he's at home and tired. But Circe and Flor are in a car and see that he's outside. He drives off to meet with Isabel; Circe and Flor follow him.
Deivid and Gabi are very happy. Therefore, he's likely doomed, especially since he promises her that tomrrow will be the last time he does something illegal.
Mateo order three men to find Felipa and bring her back. They sneak up on her, but she overcomes two of them and, after a painful chase, she shoots the third. Circe comes in response to her call for help, but Felipa has managed to deal with all three before Circe arrives.
Diego, like Deivid, says the Words of Doom. He tells Isa he's doing this operation one more time and then they'll be free. Trust me, he says. Oops. Circe sees their shadows kissing through the translucent window.
Ramona tells Mateo that having seen what Gavino did to José, she's not sure she wants Mateo to bring in Felipa. Mateo tells her that he likes her, but if she betrays him, she'll wind up like his ex-wife. "What do you mean?" asks Ramona.
Baldy sees Diego and Isa together in Diego's car in front of the house. He recognizes Diego and wonders who the woman is. Shutterbug that he is, he takes another photo.
Flor warns Circe that the drug operation is a trap. Circe says she is determined to kill Diego.
Thanks, Juanita. I missed a lot of this.
Yay, Felipa does a pretty good job taking care of herself.
Deivid and Gabi have grown on me. Wondering if any of these couples will get a happy ending.
Isa and Diego are getting on my last nerve. Do they not get that DANGER is all around and Circe is no dummy?
thanks so much Juanita!
yep, that's pretty much all, everyone is walking on egg shells awaiting the big event, who here shares Diego's confidence?
the kind doctor shows Nuria to her rehab cell, one phone call a week, lights out.
Edgar is so cool at snuffing Amanda's complaints, Isa with Diego and Paloma with Porfi, you mean a bigger family?
I think Felipa shot 2 of the guys with her shotgun, killed the third with his own gun, and her relationship with Circe's mom was intimate, Circe is just not going to look in that direction.
Circe's ears are smoking over Diego, this usually means clouded judgement, is "loose canon" written on her forehead?, I'm not seeing her going to jail.
the Colombians are as threatening as always, and their trigger fingers are beginning to twitch.
Baldy is not going to be happy till he gets his fingers in the pie.
I don't know about dining out at Diego's love nest, maybe just have take out.
ah, part 2 of the plan, Salas and Fer will disclose to the press any and all evidence they have about Gavino, has Salas started working on that yet?
Mateos is so twisted, he makes Ramona seem like one of the good guys.
Thanks, Juanita. I actually typed something to put up around 8:15 this morning and then lost my internet!
Yep, there are anvils hanging over the heads of Deivid for sure and maybe Diego. If Luis Ernesto Franco dies in this one, it's just too much. He died in Bajo el Mismo Cielo. I didn't watch it, but I think I read that he died in Señora Acero last season. I'll have to avoid novelas with him as the hero in future if he's going to die again.
Felipa - you are one tough bruja!
Muchísimas gracias, Niecie, deb, and novelera, for all your insightful and helpful comments.
Niecie, I loved your question: "Do they not get that DANGER is all around and Circe is no dummy?" I keep wondering the same thing. But not to worry. All we need to do is trust Diego!!
deb, loved your "who here shares Diego's confidence?" Somehow, I don't see any hands raised. Also, I think you're right about Felipa getting rid of the first two guys with blasts from her shotgun. As novelera said, "Felipa is one tough bruja." And I was interested in your describing the relationship between Felipa and Circe's mother as "intimate." There were several times in recent episodes where Felipa's account of the relationship made me think that's what she was saying, but I was never sure I was right. But if you too feel that's what she was saying, I feel more confident.
novelera, I'm sorry about your Internet problem. That kind of thing drives me nuts, which makes me realize how dependent I've become on having it. Perhaps I should join Nuria in rehab? :-) Actually, before I wrote my listing, I checked to see whether you or anyone else had already posted something.
I did the same thing, Juanita. Thursday is my early gym day. I was too tired last night to put anything up, so I checked this morning to see if anyone else had, skimmed through the episode quickly and wrote a brief summary. And then could not post it.
I won't have internet until Tuesday. What I have is EarthLink DSL with a wireless modem. (I know, how antediluvian!) It somehow runs through the phone lines. This is the second time in six months the phone line has gone completely dead - no dial tone.
So unless they come a day earlier than the appointment, which is what they did last time, I won't be able to do a recap Monday.
novelera, I just checked my calendar and realized that I probably can't do a recap Tuesday. Perhaps we should switch Monday and Tuesday this coming week? To be honest, I doubt that I will be able to do a full recap on Monday, but I imagine I'll be able to do something similar to what I did today--a list of some of the major events that happen, and then leave it to others to add, fill out, correct. Does that seem OK with you?
OK! My window of time for a repair visit from AT&T is 8am to 6pm, so hopefully I can recap Tuesday.
Insofar as length of the recaps, something is always better than nothing. I never feel any guilt about putting up a "just the facts, ma'am".
