No, I had not heard this. Thanks, Steve. Very sad news about Christian Bach. I saw her in La Patrona. She was, of course, married to Humberto Zurita, who will repeat his role as Epifanio Vargas in Reina2.

In preparing next week's Telemundo y Más pages, I found that Telemundo is getting ready for Season 2 of La Reina del Sur by presenting what looks to be a somewhat abridged version of Season 1. Beginning this Monday, March 4, the abridged version (la Edición Especial) will appear each weekday in the 10 PM slot. El Barón has been banished to 1:00-2:00 AM.
Season 2 of La Reina del Sur will begin on April 22.
