Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 131, Thursday, March 21, 2019; Yolo uncooperative as usual and Pancho puts an end to his mustache masquerade
Labels: mimarido2
“Mustache masquerade” and "Then the kids get to work like “Junior Master Chef” and help Susana complete the meal" were gold nuggets.
“Blanca tells her, “Well if things don’t change, we cannot go on living under the same roof together.” While that was wonderful, Blanca telling Imelds THEY would not be moving was even better. Evict Imelda now I say.
"Eugenio should be standing up to his mother and taking his wife’s side". Yes. That is Eugenio's Achilles heel. (I typed "hell" first - think that was subliminal :))
“I’m just not ready right now…” One of life’s cruel ironies is that time is fleeting. You may never have another chance – to forgive, to understand, to love. Audi had a golden opportunity that he squandered once again.
I liked the mustache silliness.
And Jarifa, the highlight for me was the fact Eduardo was smitten dawning Ari and Temo. Temo seemed delighted. What a difference it would make in all their lives. However, Polita has never said she doesn't love Audi. Loved "nebulous message".
All the love in the world cannot fix what is wrong with Eugenio. If only it could.
Excellent Cynthia. Thank you so much.
Diana
Happy to know there has been a time jump. Time to wrap up this story and all the PSA's in a nice big bow.
And agree with everybody else..."Mustache Masquerade". Great writing indeed!
Jarifa: Susana & the kids cooking together was cool.
Judy: I'm looking forward to seeing Stupid Yolo getting her anvil once Guido does something harmful to her soon.
Maybe I will change my name to Susanita.
It seems that the living arrangement of Imelda , Eugenii, and Blanca is becoming more and more strained as they are feeling with Euvenio's issues and Imelda's increasing nastiness and bullying.I was blessed to have a wonderful husband who always was ON my side no matter what...and likewise. We always said that all our stress and problems came from outside our marriage...work, parents, siblibgs, children. We were the ones everybody came to go "fix" things for them or "make something happen." Then, we looked at each other and did our best to support each other so that we could help each other or others.I sure miss him and his unwavering love, help, protection, and support. He used to say, "I'm doing this for you" when he helped someone in my family. My mother used to say "you are so lucky to have him" , and I would tell them "and YOU'RE so lucky I have him." I
Well, it is a gray here , but the rain appears to have stopped.
"Ari says, “thank you but now. I will work to pay of the debt.” Audi says, “Well if you need any help…” This just says it all about Audi. No declarations of YES I WILL PAY FOR THE OPERATION BECAUSE IT IS MY PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY OR DUTY. Just nothing ... from the family's biggest loser. And just like in real life, some people never change.
I almost gave Blanca a standing ovation when she told off Jabba The Hutt. Sad thing is, they are unable to move out. There would be financial repercussions (rent! moving expenses!) and it would really throw Eugenio's dementia for a loop. He knows his way around that house.
Eugenio just sitting there, doing nothing, again reflects his codependency on Imelda. Momma's boy. All three of her sons are like that. With the onset of Eugenio's Alzheimer's disease, he really is unable to do much else, as he becomes more dependent on others. It's just a shame he never stood up against his mother, ever.
Blanca has grown more as a person than any other character, in both seasons of this telenovela. She is more than ready to take over as matriarch.
Mostly good stuff this episode, even Guido wasn't too creepy. It is sad about Eugenio though. He and Neto should have taken one more picture together, one with Blanca.
Diana, great comment about time being fleeting and there not always being another chance to do right, so true.
The pace has picked up a bit. Dr Carlos is a regular now, and Lic Eduardo got thumbs up all around in the hospital. It was fun seeing Ari and Temo slowly realize that Eduardo had a non-professional interest in Polita; smiles all around. It looks like Audifaz is history even though he is taking some baby steps towards redemption.
Sheesh! Nobody said anything to Frida about the eye makeup? Imelda doesn't count.

Anon@ 2:57, I had no idea that the actor playing Carlos played the son in law to Pancho on the other TN. I wondered he said that. I never saw Una Familia Con Suerte. Now I want to see it.
I know everyone is rooting for Eduardo and Polita, but I am kind of hoping that Audifaz will have a change of heart and get a job. It's never too late to change, repent, and ask forgiveness.
I was so proud of Blanca standing up to Imelda, even though Eugenio won't stand up with her. Maybe Imelda will go off into the sunset with Massimo or something and stop interfering with her family's life.
Crisanta was funny when she said the presentation of the soup was horrible, just like a famous chef would, but the soup was delicious.
Yep, Imelda sure did a job on her boys. As for Eugenio, as the oldest son of a single, sacrificing mom he's felt the honorable thing to do was support her in everything. Imelda has milked that for all it's worth. I would like to see what he'll do if he really has to choose between Blanca and mom.
