Ep 15: Part 1
After Beto storms in and tells his father that they need to talk, Susana skedaddles out of there, but gets no further than the other side of the door where she glues her ear until she hears Pru approaching. Inside the room, Beto demands to know how Don Louse could have destroyed Marina’s booth. Don Louse tells Beto that Marina provoked him and he only pushed the table slightly (Oh what a twisted version!). During the shouting match, Don Louse thinks it’s just a passing fling and Beto should soon get over it. Pru comes in as Beto pushes his father; so she holds him back and tells him that his father knows he did wrong. Beto demands that Don Louse apologize to Marina. Don Louse laughs at the thought and reminds Beto that he promised to stay away from Marina. He warns Beto that if he doesn’t stay away from her, Marina will be the one to pay. Once alone, Beto insists to Pru that his father should at least apologize, but Pru reminds him that his father has NEVER apologized to anyone.
At Damiana’s house, Marina thinks Damiana is worried because she thinks that Don Louse knows where they live; so she assures Damiana that he doesn’t know.
At the ranch, Beto assures Pru that he is in love with Marina and he promised her that he would atke care of the situation with Vanesa. Pru points out that every time he promises Marina something, he only gets into problems.
Susana goes to tell Vanesa that Beto and his father argued because of the blind girl who has become like a stone in her shoe. She thinks Vanesa should talk Beto into going back to the city. When Vanesa hesitates, Su hopes that Vanesa isn’t getting too comfortable with the ranch life.
Don Louse and Pru talk in their room. Don Louse comments that he and his son hadn’t fought in sugh a way in a long time. He berates Marina and thinks that she just wants Beto so she can get ahead…she is the reason Beto is being so disrespectful to him.
Yola goes to see Marina. She was very upset when she found out what Don Louse did to her table. Damiana tells her about Vanesa insulting Marina and throwing her earrings on the ground.
Ramona tells Doc Mask that Marina left the fiesta early; she didn’t stay for the dance. After Doc remembers that Marina had told him how she had danced all night with Beto, he shouts at Ramona to leave.
Pru goes to check on Angustias and tells her about the argument that Beto and Don Louse had. She also mentions how Marina told Don Louse that she loves Beto and that Don Louse kicked over her table. She can’t imagine what he will do when he finds out that Beto loves Marina. After Pru leaves, Angustias knows that she must now confirm her suspicion.
Don Louse and Pru talk again. He wants to go back to the city immediately; so Pru tells him that Beto will want to stay at the ranch. Don Louse knows that he probably wants to stay because of the bind girl and insists that Beto WILL go back to the city.

MIRADA
Ep 15: Part 2
Beto goes to check on Vanesa. When she suggests that they should return to the city to prepare for the wedding and so that he can study, Beto tells her that she can go on ahead of him; he won’t hold her back.
Beto then goes to check on Angustias who wonders if he is returning with them to the city. Beto tells her that he is staying…and that he isn’t sure he wants to marry Vanesa. Angustias suspects it’s because of Marina…he likes her. Beto clarifies that it’s not just that he likes her, he luuurves her. He had never felt what he feels for Marina. When Angustias asks if he knows her parents, Beto shares that her father died a few months before her mother died during labor. He thinks that he and Marina are destined to be together since they were born on the same day and delivered by the same midwife. (Angel chorus here?)
Lino secretly goes to see Vanesa and asks her if she offended Marina because she was defending her boyfriend or because he (Lino) cares deeply about Marina. When Vanesa reminds him that she has a novio who adores her (yeah, right!), Lino asks if she loves her novio because if she did, she wouldn’t have asked Lino to stay. Before she answers Susana knocks, so Lino high tails it out of there.
Next Day—
Yola sees Beto and tells him off because of what his father and Vanesa did to Marina. When Beto asks what Vanesa did, Yola tells him to go ask her.
Angustias goes to visit Damiana. She wants to know if Marina is Prudencia’s daughter…and she wants the truth! When Damiana admits that Marina is Pru’s daughter, Angustias accuses Damiana of taking the baby from Pru intentionally’ so Damiana reminds her that it was Angustias’ idea about the baby switch. After Damiana tells her how her mother took care of the baby and it survived, Angustias wonders why Damiana didn’t go back to the ranch to tell them. Damiana responds that they had already left the ranch. She thought they would come back to at least ask where the baby was buried, but they never did.
Beto confronts Vanesa about insulting Marina; so Vanesa pouts and lies through her teeth as she tells him that it was Marina who insulted her. Later, Don Louse goes to see Vanesa and she tells him that Beto is angry with her because of Marina. Don Louse assures her that Beto will be returning to the city with them.
Beto is at the stables when Lino sees him and chides him for what his father did to Marina. He advises Beto to stay away for Marina…she is like a sister to him and he will protect from anyone!
Angustias asks Damiana about Marina’s blindness; so Damiana explains that at 6 months, she took Marina to the doctor and was told that she was blind. Angustias wonders why Damiana never tried to contact her to ask for help. When she tells Damiana that she needs to tell the truth to the family, Damiana reminds her that she made a promise never to reveal the truth. She has suffered for it and was even accused of having an affair by the townspeople. The only ones that know anything are Margarito and Baldo, but they think Marina is Eulalia’s daughter. When Damiana tells Angustias that it is she who should tell the family the truth, Angustias fears Don Louse’s reaction since he dislikes Marina.
Ep 15: Part 2
Beto goes to check on Vanesa. When she suggests that they should return to the city to prepare for the wedding and so that he can study, Beto tells her that she can go on ahead of him; he won’t hold her back.
Beto then goes to check on Angustias who wonders if he is returning with them to the city. Beto tells her that he is staying…and that he isn’t sure he wants to marry Vanesa. Damiana knows that there is a strong tie between them and that they will somehow end up together. Meanwhile, Marina is with Doc Mask asking about her exams. He gives her an update and tells her she will need to study really hard. Marina thanks him and tells him she will return the next day to study.
On her way back to her house, Beto sees Marina and apologizes for not being with her at the fiesta to defend her. When he tells her about his fight with his father and that his father threatened to hurt her, Marina worried that Don Louse might run them off from their house. Beto assures her that he doesn’t know and no one will tell him. Beto then asks Marina about her blindness, so she tells him that her mother took her to the doctor when she was a baby and was told that it was from birth…and Doc Mask confirmed it. They never had enough money to see a specialist.
Don Louse asks Margarito where Marina lives, but Margarito tells him he doesn’t know.
Beto returns home and everyone questions where he was, but he avoids the questions and doesn’t tell.
Marina also arrives home. She tells Damiana about seeing Beto and thinks that everyone is against them…his father even made a threat against her.
Beto goes to see Angustias. When she tells him that she understands and accepts that he and Marina love each other, Beto is glad that he at least has one ally in the house.
Susana and Vanesa talk. Susana tells Vanesa that they can’t leave because Angustias is not well. Vanesa is glad and wants to stay behind at the ranch with Beto since he is insisting on staying…and hopes that she can convince Pru to stay too.
Pru goes to see Angustias. When she stresses about Beto and thinks that he is just being stubborn about Marina, Angustias tells her that Beto loves her. When she adds that Pru doesn’t even know Marina well, Pru thinks it’s best that she not know anything more about Marina.

RGV—Thank you for posting. I’ll have to wait ‘til tomorrow to expand my views, but I sure get the impression that it’s Susana that would like to marry Beto. She’s soooo insistent in following every little detail of his life, where he is, what he’s doing, what he’s thinking. She’s so deep into him she doesn’t realize Vanny has cooled off.

Wow, this story is moving right along. I was shocked when Damiana told Angustias that Marina is Pru's baby. It seems the secret usually lasts longer in TelenovelaLandia. No telling what this will do to Augustia's heart condition.
Will Doc Mask help Marina study in a way that will have her fail the tests? He just does not seem trustworthy to me. Don Louse as resident nut job is all I can take. Doc Mask is a bit too much. Hopefully the writers will tone him down.
It won't take much for Don Louse to find out where Damiana lives.

Anita, I did think it strange that Susana is asking all these questions about Beto, but it never occurred to me that she could want him for herself! I wouldn’t put it past her...if she can’t have the Louse, the she just might be after the son.
Doris, I too thought that the “secret” would take longer to be revealed, but when she told Marina to start wearing those earrings, I figured it wouldn’t take long after that. Damiana my have sworn to secrecy, but she found a way for the earrings to speak for her.

Rgv Chick - thank you. Surgery went well and I'm home with ice packs and a walker as my new BFFs. LOL Looking forward to getting off the blasted pain meds, but grateful for them right now.

Ep 16: Part 1 A Kiss for the BooBoo
Vanesa goes to Beto’s bedroom to apologize for being rude to Marina; she is willing to apologize. Beto replies that it is not necessary…and BTW he thinks they shouldn’t get married. Vanesa tells him that she loves him and is willing to postpone the wedding; she suggests that they stay at the ranch for the remainder of the vacations. Beto, the wimp, doesn’t argue.
Pru and Angustias continue their talk. Angustias just wants Beto to be happy; so does Pru, but she questions what Marina could offer Beto since she has no education. Don Louse has high hopes for Beto; so Beto can’t let him down. When Angustias reminds Pru that it was a miracle that Beto is her son, Pru remarks that it was because her daughter was born dead. Angustias slowly gets up and starts feeling sick; she loses her breath and starts panting. Pru asks her to calm down and assures her that everything will turn out well.
Margarito goes to assure Damiana that he didn’t tell Don Louse where she lived. Margarito doesn’t understand why Don Louse doesn’t like Marina.
Margarito explains to Beto that he had to lie to his father about where Damiana lives. Beto understands.
Beto goes to see Doc Mask. When he asks about Marina’s blindness, Doc tells him that there is no chance that Mairna will be able to see. Beto wants to take her to a specialist, but Doc argues that Marina is just fine the way she is…Beto needs to leave her alone.
Vanesa goes to see Lino who is struggling with a horse. She tells him that the kiss was a mistake and that she is sorry that she asked him to stay. Lino huffs.
Don Louse insists that Margarito find out where Marina lives. When Margarito tries to defend Marina and tells him that it’s Beto who is after Marina, Don Louse won’t hear it.
Susana tells Vanesa that she is returning to the city to prepare for the wedding. Vanesa tells her not to do anything because Beto doesn’t want to get married anytime soon.
Susana chides Beto for canceling the wedding. They have already announced it to all their social circles. Just then, someone comes in to tell them that a horse trampled Lino and he is hurt. Beto rushes to see Lino and Vanesa tells him to let them know how Lino is. Susana takes note.
Doc Mask pays Marina a visit and yells at her because she lied to him; she is still seeing Beto. Marina tells him that they are just friends. Doc tells her she is acting like a street girl and threatens that if she wants him to help her with the exams, she will have to stop seeing Beto…it’s either him or Beto! When he goes outside, Doc stumbles and grabs his chest as he pants.
Beto is checking out Lino and tells Margarito what he will need. He will need to stitch up the leg.
Marina tells Damiana about how Doc yelled and threatened her. Damiana suggests that Beto could help her; Marina agrees.

Marina tells Damiana about how Doc yelled and threatened her. Damiana suggests that Beto could help her; Marina agrees.

Ep 16: Part 2 A Kiss for the BooBoo
Tori goes to tell Marina and Damiana about Lino’s accident, he saw the whole thing. Marina wants to go ask Yola about Lino, but Tori reminds her that she is not welcome there. Tori will go find out and return. As he leaves, Damiana asks him to talk to Angustias and ask her if the “remedy” she gave her worked.
Vanesa goes to see Lino. After she looks at his leg, she asks if it hurts. Lino replies that his heart hurts more; so she kisses him…as Yola opens the door but then slowly retreats. As they hear Beto coming, Vanesa quickly gets up from the bed and stands away from Lino. Beto is surprised to see her there. Since she’s there, Beto asks her to help him by cleaning the womb. He then tells Lino that he will have to be strong and withstand the pain because he has no anesthesia. Vanesa watches as Beto stitches up Lino and Lino moans in pain.
Pru goes to tell Angustias about Lino and that Beto will be taking him to the hospital; Pru wants Angustias to go also so that they can run some tests. She hopes that the accident will calm things down between Louse and Beto; and she also hopes that Beto doesn’t tell Louse that he luurves Marina. After Pru leaves, Angustias prays for help with the family.
Tori asks Erasmo to go to Angustias so that she can come down; he has a message for her. Tori doesn’t want to go near the house because the devil will appear.
Hortencia goes to see Tori since Angustias can’t come down. Tori gives her the message to give to Agustias. Horty goes to tell Angustias and questions why Angustias went to see Damiana.
Tori goes to report to Damiana and Marina. When he starts to talk about Angustias, Damiana quickly interrupts to stop him.
Susana tells Don Louse that Beto canceled the wedding. After they blame Marina, Susana worries about what she will tell all their friends since she has already told them about the wedding. Don Louse tells her not to say or cancel anything because there WILL be a wedding.
At the hospital, Angustias looks like she’s in a daze as she rambles about Alberto. After she is taken out for the tests, Pru asks Beto about Lino. Later, the doctor tells Beto that the all of Angustias’s levels are where they should be; she will have to watch her diet and avoid stress. Just then, Don Louse arrives and chides Beto for trying to cancel the wedding. Beto feels insecure because of everything that is going on, including his studies. Don Louse doesn’t want to hear excuses and insists that Beto will get married since he gave his word. Don Louse threatens that if he doesn’t get married, he will cut off all support for Beto. After Beto stands his ground and counters that he is NOT getting married and that the decision was his and Vanesa’s, he walks away. Don Louse smirks as he mumbles, “That young man…that’s the way I like it.”
Marina goes to her young friend in town to see if she can register herself for the exams. The young man recalls Doc’s threats and tells her that she can’t register a second time.
Margarito is at the hospital with Lino who wants to get back home and on his feet so he can start his project. Margarito reminds him that he can’t start anything without the boss’s approval.
Vanesa goes to visit with Yola and seems too friendly for Yola’s comfort. Vanesa wants them to get along.
Don Louse reproaches Pru for not telling him what was going on. Pru thinks Beto just needs time. Margarito approaches so Pru goes to check on Angustias. Don Louse tells Margarito that he wants the blind girl’s address TODAY!
Marina is at the cemetery complaining to Baldo about not being able to register for the exam. Baldo thinks she should let the Doc help her and suggests that she avoid telling Doc anything about Beto.
Lino gets home. Yola wants to know what’s up with him and Vanesa; she saw them kissing!

Yola saw the kiss as easily as anyone else could have. Nobody in this telenovela knocks on bedroom doors. They all just barge right in. I am appalled. Sheesh! 😳

I was half joking when I alluded to Susana’s interest in Beto. I love watching her. She is so transparent in her one-track mind to get Vanessa married to Beto. Even Vanessa said something to the effect that she’s not pregnant, so what’s the hurry. I wonder if there is more to her story or is it just her helicopter air turbulent character.

Thanks so much Rgv Chick. There was certainly a lot of antler-bashing going on in yesterday's episode. Beto, Doc Mask, Lino and even Don Louse puffing out their chests and wanting to stake their claim on various females.
And frankly,I could have done without the realism of stitching up that wound in Lino's leg. Yikes. I mean good camera work and all but I usually watch this episodes while eating and That. Did. Not. Help.
Looks like it's going to be a very looooong time before the truth comes out about Marina's parentage and we have a happily every after. In the meantime, enjoying the ride with you all.

Well, I really can't claim "antler bashing". I think that was a favorite of our Jane (Melinama) especially when relating Fernando Colunga telenovelas. Lots of wonderful male posturing going on in those. Which reminds me, Soy tu Dueña is playing in reruns in the wee hours and I still marvel at Colunga's biceps, six-pack abs and just about every single inch of the man. Wow. Even his hands are like paws.

Doc Mask has been letting the mask drop for realz. Marina got a good sense of him yesterday. It sort of bothers me how naïve she is. She is portrayed as being some sort of savant for getting along as well as she does without eyesight. Can't she tell how outrageous and jealous Mask is?
I liked what Beto said to Mask. He said he was disillusioned at how unethical Mask is, not even being willing to discuss her medical history with him. He also doesn't seem to notice how crazed Mask is.
I rather liked that Lino was showing his pain. So many galans are shown merely gritting their teeth while they pour rum on abdominal wounds!
I remember someone posting here about Toribio having had some kind of altercation with Louse and that Tori looked as if he wasn't developmentally disabled at the time. I'm sorry I don't remember seeing that. But we got another hint of what happened by Tori's absolute terror of approaching the "Big House".
I'm very intrigued with this TN. I haven't watched one on Uni for a long time. On Telemundo, after they've got the fishhook in your mouth, they are prone to showing too much of the ending of the last episode before launching into that night's show. I hate that! This one seems to have very little of that. Of course I could do without that woman singing into a microphone at about the 15 minute mark. Thank God for DVR's!

Ep 17: Part 1 Angy Takes on the Louse!
Yola questions Lino to find out what is going on between him and Vanessa. Lino tries to evade the question, but Yola tells him that she saw them kissing and does not want him to suffer. When Yola reminds him that Vanesa and Beto are supposed to be married, Lino explains to Yola that it was Vanesa who asked him to stay at the ranch. Beto may have money, but he has Vanesa’s heart. Now both are trying to fight for their love, despite knowing that it is quite impossible.
Marina goes to see Doc Mask who is glad that she decided to choose him over Beto. When Marina tells him that she was worried about him because of his heart, Doc tells her that as long as she doesn’t do anything against him, he will be fine. Marina then asks him to give her the registration papers, but Doc insists that he will take her to take the exams.
Susana chides Vanesa for agreeing to cancel the wedding. Su worries that she has told ALL her friends about the wedding and she won’t be able to face them when they find out that Beto dumped her. When Su points out that she is leaving the door open for the blind one, Vanesa doesn’t care…and she tells Su that she can go to the city and tell her thousands of friends that she was the one that called off the wedding.
Damiana, Tori, and Marina go visit Lino. After Damiana administers some of her cream on Lino’s wounds, she tells Marina that she has some things to do and Marina should stay there. Tori goes off to gather avocados.
Vanesa tells Pru that her ankle is perfect now; she is going out for a walk. After she leaves, Don Louse comes in and tells Pru that he has decided that they will all be staying at the ranch; she should tell Susana.
Marina confides in Yola that she continues to see Beto who loves her and is going to cancel the wedding. Just then, Vanesa flutters in being very friendly. She apologizes to Marina for treating her badly; and Marina accepts the apology. Vanesa wants to be besties now. When Yola asks why she is there, Vanesa responds that her novio sent her to check on Lino. She goes off to see Lino and showers him with kisses, but tells him that she will marry Beto; it’s inevitable. When he asks what will happen with their relationship; she doesn’t want to think about it and kisses him some more. He wuuuves her and she needs him. Out in the kitchen, Yola tells Marina that she should fight for Beto…he wants to be with her, not with Vanesa. Vanesa then comes out and thanks Yola for taking such good care of Lino. After she thanks Marina for accepting her apology, she flutters out.
Zackrat (Zacarias) is out in the orchard and catches Tori gathering avocados. After Tori tells him that Yola gave him permission to get some avocadoes, He mentions how he is not well and Zackrat knows that Tori was hit in the head by a stray bullet. Tori panics after he recalls the shot and cries that the devil wanted to kill him. He runs off saying that the devil won’t find him.
Angustias confesses to a priest about the baby switch; she takes full responsibility. The priest tells her that she must tell the truth, but Angy knows that Don Louse will never accept a daughter since he wanted a son…and he will denounce Beto as his son since Beto is not of his blood. The priest emphasizes that if she doesn’t tell the truth, Angy will be consumed by her guilt.
Damiana enters the kitchen looking for Angustias. Pru comes in and tells Damiana the she knows who she is. Damiana tells Pru that she seems uncomfortable with her presence. As Pru tells her that she is very grateful to her for her son, but that Damiana has lied to her, Don Louse enters and greets Damiana in a very friendly way. After Damiana explains that she is there to see Lino, Don Louse hands her some money and leaves.
Ep 17: Part 1 Angy Takes on the Louse!
Yola questions Lino to find out what is going on between him and Vanessa. Lino tries to evade the question, but Yola tells him that she saw them kissing and does not want him to suffer. When Yola reminds him that Vanesa and Beto are supposed to be married, Lino explains to Yola that it was Vanesa who asked him to stay at the ranch. Beto may have money, but he has Vanesa’s heart. Now both are trying to fight for their love, despite knowing that it is quite impossible.
Marina goes to see Doc Mask who is glad that she decided to choose him over Beto. When Marina tells him that she was worried about him because of his heart, Doc tells her that as long as she doesn’t do anything against him, he will be fine. Marina then asks him to give her the registration papers, but Doc insists that he will take her to take the exams.
Susana chides Vanesa for agreeing to cancel the wedding. Su worries that she has told ALL her friends about the wedding and she won’t be able to face them when they find out that Beto dumped her. When Su points out that she is leaving the door open for the blind one, Vanesa doesn’t care…and she tells Su that she can go to the city and tell her thousands of friends that she was the one that called off the wedding.
Damiana, Tori, and Marina go visit Lino. After Damiana administers some of her cream on Lino’s wounds, she tells Marina that she has some things to do and Marina should stay there. Tori goes off to gather avocados.
Vanesa tells Pru that her ankle is perfect now; she is going out for a walk. After she leaves, Don Louse comes in and tells Pru that he has decided that they will all be staying at the ranch; she should tell Susana.
Marina confides in Yola that she continues to see Beto who loves her and is going to cancel the wedding. Just then, Vanesa flutters in being very friendly. She apologizes to Marina for treating her badly; and Marina accepts the apology. Vanesa wants to be besties now. When Yola asks why she is there, Vanesa responds that her novio sent her to check on Lino. She goes off to see Lino and showers him with kisses, but tells him that she will marry Beto; it’s inevitable. When he asks what will happen with their relationship; she doesn’t want to think about it and kisses him some more. He wuuuves her and she needs him. Out in the kitchen, Yola tells Marina that she should fight for Beto…he wants to be with her, not with Vanesa. Vanesa then comes out and thanks Yola for taking such good care of Lino. After she thanks Marina for accepting her apology, she flutters out.
Zackrat (Zacarias) is out in the orchard and catches Tori gathering avocados. After Tori tells him that Yola gave him permission to get some avocadoes, He mentions how he is not well and Zackrat knows that Tori was hit in the head by a stray bullet. Tori panics after he recalls the shot and cries that the devil wanted to kill him. He runs off saying that the devil won’t find him.
Angustias confesses to a priest about the baby switch; she takes full responsibility. The priest tells her that she must tell the truth, but Angy knows that Don Louse will never accept a daughter since he wanted a son…and he will denounce Beto as his son since Beto is not of his blood. The priest emphasizes that if she doesn’t tell the truth, Angy will be consumed by her guilt.

Just then Susana enters and Hortencia comes in to tell them that Angy went to the church. After Damiana leaves, Pru mentions to Susana that they will not be returning to the city, but they can have someone take her. Susana decides to stay too.
Margarito goes to tell Don Louse that Lino’s chores have been distributed among the men. After Don Louse tells Margarito that he is approving Lino’s project, he asks about Marina’s address, but Margarito hasn’t had time with all that happened.
Don Louse brings in Zackrat and tells him to find out where Marina lives. If he gets the info, Zackrat will be in very good graces with Don Louse.

Beto goes to see Marina at the swing. When Marina asks why he had to go see the Doc, Beto explains that he just wanted to talk about her case, but Doc acted like a jealous father (nope, you dope, not like a father). Marina tells Beto that Doc treats her like a daughter; he has protected her and helped her since he met her. Marina then tells Beto that Vanesa apologized to her; now Marina feels guilty about deceiving Vanesa and wants Beto to stop seeing her (Marina) since they are hurting Vanesa and their relationship is causing so much discord. When Beto tells Marina that Vanesa and everyone else will be staying at the ranch, Marina points out that just proves that Vanesa loves him…and that the family is probably staying to keep an eye on him. Beto agrees that his family treats him like a child. Marina still fears that Don Louse will find out where she lives; and when he does, she and Damiana will have no where to go. She also thinks that Don Louse will run off Margarito and his family. Beto insists that his family will have to accept and understand that they love each other. Angy doesn’t back down and warns him that he is going to be sorry…whatever he does to Marina will come back and bite him in the arse (not in those words, but same concept). After the Louse leaves, Angy prays and Susana thinks Angy is going nuts and needs to see a psychiatrist. Pru asks Angy what is wrong. Angy starts to say that the young girl is…, but can’t bring herself to reveal the truth; so she tells Pru that the young girl is good and noble…she fell in love. Pru still doesn’t understand why Angy would stand up for Marina...she has only bought problems for the family. Angy assures her that there is a reason.
Marina arrives home and tells Damiana that she was with Beto. She told him they couldn’t see each other anymore. Damiana wonders why since Beto loves her and their love grew because it had to grow. Marina asks what good a beautiful love does if it only brings problems and hurts others. Damiana tells her to have faith in their love.
Pru warns Angy not to go against Don Louse who does things for everyone’s good (seriously?). She assures Angy that she will make sure that Don Louse doesn’t do anything to the girl. After Pru leaves, Angy prays that the Virgen protect Marina and that Don Louse does not ruin her life...he is her father!

It was surprising that Angsty did not spill the beans about Marina's paternity when she went balllistic on Don Louse. Oh well, she knows she is in a telenovela and must withold important information, come hell or high water, especially this early in the story. 🙄

Nina, when Angy first walked in and yelled at the Louse, she said, "No, Don Luis! You cannot do that! It is against God and even yourself!" Pru didn't exactly tell Susana to shut up; she said, "Please! Don't you see how bad she is feeling?" Susana replied that Angy was going to get in serious problems with the Louse before she walked off.

Thanks Rgv Chick for another great recap. And today's show is almost over (though I won't get to watch it until tomorrow I fear). But loved Angustia blowing up at Don Luis. In fact I think he rather enjoyed seeing her show some spirit. He so totally dominates everybody all the time, must get boring for the old tyrant.
Did get rather tired of Prudencia always saying "ya..ya..ya.." I can see how she's always trying to put out fires and calm the waters, but.....

I am really enjoying Don Louse. Just when he seems poised to step far over the line he pulls back A blustery, reactionary, selfish blowhard who is totally not self aware. Bumbling around passing out money, feeling benevolent with no idea how he is perceived by those around him. I am wondering how he will feel about a son of peasant blood. Sh9uld be interesting

I was home and on the computer but I managed to watch much of today's episode.
I am getting worried about Beto. He wears pink pants and got that dress for his girlfriend? Well, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he got some woman to pick out the dress.
