Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia, Capítulo 138, Tuesday, April 2, 2019; Daniela on a Mission; Yolo changes her mind
We
begin with Daniela crying to Blanca telling her that she needs to find justice
for Gabriel.
At the
restaurant, Susana and Pancho talk about different ideas to promote at work for
creativity and better morale. Susana gives Pancho full freedom on creativity.
Outside
around the pool, at Susana and Pancho’s home, Crisanta is with the children as
the try on different types of costumes she is helping them with. The children
are very grateful to her and she tells them she is very happy to be grandmother
to this growing family with five wonderful grandchildren. Julio, however, seems
to be distracted by some kind of ant crawling on the ground.
Temo
tells Ari what he wants to be when he grows up: A politician.
Outside
of the bakery/Córsega home, Polita and Eduardo come walking up with little
Arqui. [That
little boy is always in such a happy mood and is a joy to watch.] As
they say goodbye, he kisses Polita on the cheek. Then as Eduardo bends down to
show some affection to Arqui, two dark clouds named Imelda and Audifáz come
walking up. Imelda says, “So what is going on her, Amapola?” Both Eduardo and
Audi shoot some “alpha” stares at each other.
Outside,
Polita tells Imelda she is a free woman and can spend time with whom she
chooses. Imelda says, “Well maybe for you, but certainly not for my grandchildren.
They shouldn’t be around some man that you just decide to bring into your life
who is not their father.” Polita tells her, “How is it that you say you worry
about your grandchildren so much when you tried to take Arqui away from me?” Imelda
says, “Well it was for his own good.” “Enough” says Polita. “Enough of your lies,
Madame!” Audi just says to Eduardo, “All I ask is that you treat them well.”
Eduardo answers, “I just want the best for them.” Then Imelda decides to pull
rank once again. “I am not in agreement with your relationship with this man.
Therefore, I am prohibiting him for entering MY BUILDING!” Polita tells her, “Fine.
You can prohibit whom you want from your building but you cannot stop our feelings.
The reason I’m with Eduardo is because he is a good man.”
Daniela
looks at her lovely triplets and then talks to Hermoso and says, “If you could
only talk.” We scenes where Hermoso interacted with Guido and Guido told Hermoso,
“You are going to die!” Carlos comes by to check up on Daniela to find out how
she is doing because he is her friend. He asks if she has received any more
updates. She shows him her phone and the message reads, “Gabriel was murdered.
He was poisoned to death.” Carlos agrees that in his opinion, it appeared that
Gabriel died of chronic poisoning.
Guido
and Yolo get to a hotel. He tells her they are safe because he registered under
a phony name. She thanks him for being there for her and thinks of him as someone
who saved her life. He asks Yolo if she would like to take a shower, so she
does. As she goes to the bathroom, he opens his laptop to search for places to
live that are hidden away from the world.
Neto is
at the police station reporting Yolo as missing and telling them he thinks that
her mother might have taken her. He knows that Yolo can’t get out of the
country because her passport is at home. The twins and Grecia are waiting for
him as he comes out. But he tells them that no one has any information on where
Yolo went. Grecia’s phone starts ringing and it’s Susana. She tells Susana that
there is a crisis going on with Neto and that Yolo is missing. But Susana tells
her that they just saw Yolo at this restaurant on the outskirts of town and she
was with Guido! Grecia tells Susana to hold on while she tells Neto that Susana
and Pancho just saw her at this restaurant with Guido. Neto says, “What?”
Neto
gets on the phone with Pancho and he tells Neto he saw Yolo and Guido less than
an hour ago. “They told me not to tell you that I saw them together because
they were planning a big surprise for you.” Neto tells Pancho that none of that
was true. He had thought that Yolo left with Ariana and asked if he saw Ariana
with them. Pancho says it was just Guido and Yolo. He sends Neto the address of
this restaurant so he can meet them there. Neto asks Grecia to take the boys
and take care of them. She says she will watch them over at Susana’s house.
Daniela
tearfully tells Carlos that all she wants to do is protect her children from
whoever did this to Gabriel. Then her phone lights up with more messages. “Guido
Musi is Gabriel’s murderer.” She thinks about all the times that Guido
pretended to care, oh so much for her and her children. Daniela is extremely
livid and teetering on out of control. Carlos asks Daniela what the message
said and she asks him to just leave and to leave her alone. Daniela is seething
with raw emotion and anger now. Then Daniela gets her proof. An audio recording
of the dirty truth that Guido was responsible for Gabriel’s death by poisoning.
Daniela
starts to walk out of the apartment and gives her parents strict orders to
watch her children and not let anyone, not anyone see them. She becomes a woman
with a mission as she leaves the building, not even telling Linda what is
happening.
Ari
gets all dressed up in his Cuauhtémoc costume. Then he tries to walk by himself
without the boot and is successful. He hugs his mother and Temo.
Grecia
brings the twins over to Susana’s tells them all to please get along while she
prepares some lemon water with. She tells them that Andy and Santi are going
through a difficult time in their family. Julio says, “So what is going on? My
ant wants to know!” He shows them the ant he put into a jar. Then Andy tells him
it’s not an ant that it’s really a termite and goes on to explain the evolutionary
differences between the species which the kids don’t want to hear about. Sebas
says, “I don’t know if we can believe them since they disguised themselves like
girls.” “Enough” says Lupita. “Grecia told us to be nice to each other. Anyway,
tell us what happened.” Santi says, “Well it looks like our sister ran away
with Guido Musi.”
Yolo
gets done with her shower and finds Guido on his computer. She asks what he is
doing and he tells her that he is finding them a place to live in Mexico City.
Now, Yolo has had time to think about this and tells him that she does not think
this is a good idea. “After all, I’m underage and I don’t have any
identification with me.” Guido says, “Just leave all the details to me.” But
Yolo looks sad and worried and he finally asks her what is wrong. “I just can’t
stop thinking about my father. After what my mother did, I now understand what
my father went through. He is a very good man and he has tried his best to do
what is right for us. I don’t want to cause him any anguish or sadness.” Then
Guido tries to tell her, “We really have to leave Oaxaca because he is against
our love and we need to find a way to stay together. Soon you can talk to him,
but for now, it’s you and me together. Now I have to shower, It’s been a long
tense day.” He kisses her and goes to the bathroom. Yolo sits on the bed and
just looks at her phone.
At the
restaurant, Susana tells Pancho she has talked to Catalina to cancel all her appointments
so she can help out with what is going on with Neto. Then Neto arrives and
Pancho tells Neto he went to look for Yolo and Neto and the waiter told him
that they had left out the back door. Pancho asks, “Do you know what Guido’s
car looks like?” Neto says he has seen it many times at the Mescal distillery.
Pancho says, “Well we can look for the car by checking out different places and
hotels around here.” Susana asks Neto why Yolo would want to run away. He tells
her, “Well Yolo and Guido were having this romance together that I had
forbidden. And then I found out today that her mother Ariana, seems to have abandoned
her again. So maybe she just wanted to run away from everything. If anything happens
to her, I will never forgive myself.”
Like a
mad woman, Daniela goes to the distillery screaming for Guido. She encounters
some workers and they tell her they have seen him as he did not come into work.
Linda
tells Blanca and Eugenio the state she saw Daniela in. Blanca is overwhelmed by
the thought that anyone would want to hurt anyone from their family.
Daniela
continues on her quest to find Guido and thinks about the times they had dinner
together and how Guido cooked dinner. She nearly gets hit by a car crossing the
street. [Hey Daniela,
you aren’t doing your children any good if you put your own life in danger!]
Linda
is doing a facial on a customer when Axel decides to stop by. “Linda, I’m here,
just like you asked. They way I’m supposed to be with you.”
At the
office, Susana tells Catalina about how Yolo has run away. Catalina tells her that
her Julieta never acted that way. Then the phone rings and Susana answers. She
stands up smiling saying, “Julieta!” Catalina stands excitedly and yells out, “Juuuuuullllllllleeeeeee!”
They are both overjoyed to hear from Julieta.
While
Guido is in the shower, Yolo decides to call her father.
Pancho
and Neto leave the restaurant as Neto’s phone begins to ring and it is Yolo. He
answers and says, “Yolo, please tell me where you are, I’m begging you.” At
first all she can get out of her mouth is “Papa.”
Mássimo
goes to his safe and finds that all the money he put in there is now gone.
Daniela, still on her angry mission arrives, screaming for Guido. “What is
wrong Daniela?” She says she needs to talk to Guido now and it’s very urgent.
He tells her that he too has been trying find Guido and he has his cell phone
turned off. He points to his safe and tells her he just checked and all his
money and the jewelry are now gone. He asks her, “Why is it that it’s so urgent
that you find Guido? Why are you talking about him with such hate? Please don’t
tell me it is what I am thinking.” She finally tells him, “It was him, Nono. It
was Guido who murdered Gabriel.” Mássimo looks crushed and very sad.
Still
on the phone with Yolo, Neto tells her, “It doesn’t matter what happened. We
are going to resolve this together. But please tell me where you are so I can
come get you.” Yolo breathes with emotion and says nothing yet. So Neto goes
on, “Look, I know you are with Guido. And if you truly love him, maybe the three
of us can sit down and talk this out. Running away is not the answer, my love.
I miss you very much. Your brothers miss you too. You need to be with your
family. I love you Yolo with all of my heart and my life is nothing without
you. I need you to just tell me where you are. Remember, we are the four united
Reyes forever.” Yolo just listens and breathes heavily. Neto goes on, “Look, I
can accept your relationship with Guido with a few conditions. Your life will
never be complete without your family by your side. Finally, Yolo says, “I am in
the Mixteco Hotel.” Then she hangs up as Guido comes out of the bathroom. He questions
her on who she was talking to on the phone.
Devastated,
Mássimo thinks of the good times he shared with Gabriel and Guido. He asks Daniela
if she is absolutely sure that Guido did this. Daniela says, I have an audio recording
where Guido confesses everything.” Then Daniela starts to take off and Mássimo
tries to go after her but she is too fast for him. He calls out to her, “Daniela,
please don’t do anything foolish!” Mássimo leans on the wall looking heart
broken and distressed.
Guido
leans down and asks Yolo again who she was talking to. Finally she says, “With
my father.” Guido is not happy, but then tells her that it has to be her decision
if she wants to stay with him. He adds that in order for this to work, they
have to distance themselves from everyone. Yolo says, “I’m really not so sure
anymore. I love you, but I don’t want my family to suffer. My heart is broken because
my mother just abandoned me again. She also left my brothers and they are much
younger than I am. And now, I am abandoning them too.”
“Did
you tell your father where we were at?” Yolo just nods. Guido jumps up and
says, “We need to leave immediately!” Yolo tells him, “But my father said we
could sit down and talk and that he would accept our relationship with a few
conditions.” She tries to get him to stop packing and tells him that they could
still have a life together and not lose the people in their lives who love
them. She mentions her family and his grandfather. He winces and grabs his
face, saying, “NO I have to leave Oaxaca immediately.” Then Yolo asks, “Please
tell me the truth. Why do you want to run away? I feel like there is something
else, something else a lot stronger making you do this.” He tells her that he
loves her very much. But she notices that he is very nervous and pleads with
him to tell her what it is that is bothering him so much. Yolo asks, “Who are
you afraid of?”
Neto
and Pancho are in “La Burra” on their way to try to find Yolo. Pancho puts the
pedal to the metal so they can get there faster. They finally find the road
leading to the hotel. Then Neto’s phone rings and it’s Daniela. She wants to
know if he knows where Guido is so he tells her that he is about to find him because
he is with Yolo. She directs him to confront him and not let Guido get away.

Best supporting actress nomination in tonite’s recap? Yolo, for her anguish and confusion...Daniela for her raw savage emotion finding out that GM is the killer......And the award goes ,...Double award for BOTH actrizes. Maybe put on Guidos suspenders on hate spewing Imelda and parade her around as the clown she is......

Cynthia, your recap was a real treat documenting the high drama of last night so well. All I could think of was “woman on a mission “ last night and there it was in your title! Thanks.

For me, the non-stoppable Dani was the highlight. The raw emotion of her screaming Guido’s name and so over the edge that she could barely speak were perfect for the situation.

Not sure if Audi could ever muster an "alpha" stare, he seems like such a limp noodle to me, but those words sure conveyed what that scene was about.
Are we going to see Imelda repent and be less of a "dark cloud" before this is over? She seems so steeped in herown self-righteousness, I really wonder. Sometimes we are so comfortable in our "darkness" that we have no desire to change.
Andy, like Diana,I loved "would not want to be in his suspenders right now" Clearly the jig is up. I can see Guido fleeing by himself in a car at top speed and crashing. Some sort of flaming end for our bad boy. But my predictions have the same failure rate as those of Doris.
Diana, good luck. Hope you get out of jury duty. Those cases are usually depressing. Who needs that?

Excellent recap, Cynthia! I too loved "two dark clouds named Imelda and Audifaz." Gee, too bad Guido's a psychotic serial killer. Otherwise, this ploy would have gotten him and Yolo recognized as official noviod. Btw, where did Yolo get that change of clothes? Seemed to fit a little too well to be Guido's, though there isn't a great difference in size between them.

But this is pretty much what I was thinking when I watched. Guido seemed very much just a smitten, caring guy, and I thought this is what might have been if he weren't a monster, or crazy, or both.
