Alberto Jiménez, who played the russian Oleg Yasikov, could not return this season as he is recovering from a motorcycle accident, and will be replaced by Antonio Gil in season 2.

Thanks very much, deb, for this info. I knew that Alberto Jiménez was being replaced by Antonio Gil in season 2, but I had no idea why. I LOVED Alberto Jiménez' performance in season 1, so I was mystified and very disappointed that he wouldn't be back. But at least now I why, and that it had nothing to do with his performance. I hope he'll make a full recovery.
