OT - The Patio

❤️Susanlynn - we are watching different telenovelas and I did not know that. I hope you are having a good summer and staying cool. The heat and humidity have arrived here.

AMOR ETERNO - is anyone going to recap it? I don't really have time for a second telenovela but have it set to record, just in case I like it.

Ep 39: Part 1 Going for the Jugular Goes Both Ways

Juanjo tells Erick that he and Charly came to an agreement regarding the concert. When he tells Erick about the percentage, Erick can’t believe Charly would agree to it and remarks that he doesn’t care about the money. Juanjo understands because when he was young all he cared about was his passion and love for music, but then he realized that there are bills to pay.

Yameli is driving around with Zaria who tells her that Erick has 50 million likes on his video. Zaria then tells Yameli that everyone who will attend the concert will be there to support only Erick. To repay her, Yameli will allow Zaria an exclusive interview after the concert.

Charly arrives at his office to find Diana meeting with some of the staff. When he asks why no one informed him there would be an early meeting, Diana retorts that everyone knows that he doesn’t like to get up early. He should thank her for being there to organize his concerts. Instead of complaining, Charly should join them for the meeting, but Charly tells everyone to get out.

Yameli arrives as Diana and Charly argue about the sponsors that Charly doesn’t have. Yameli suggests that they go talk elsewhere because they are getting too much attention there. As they walk outside, Yameli suggests that they have a smaller, more exclusive concert. Diana thinks it’s a good idea; they can raise the prices on the tickets. When Yameli suggests that they have the concert at Juanjo’s bar, Charly turns his nose up at the idea, but Diana thinks they should talk to Juanjo and come to some type of agreement.

At the rehab center, Ruco finds Vanessa reading outside. Ruco doesn’t understand why Vanessa is brushing him off; so Vanessa explains that she wants to change and leave everything that happened with him behind her. Ruco tells her that he also wants to change…he swears that he is admitting to his mistakes, but he will need her help to get better. Vanessa agrees to get back together with him…but without drugs. Ruco agrees…together they will stay clean. Later, Ruco suggests that they escape from he center; they can resolve their problems on their own. Vanessa agrees and hopes that Ruco doesn’t fail her.

Erick spends the day with Irma who is looking for a job. Erick suggests that he ask Juanjo to hire Irma...she could be his special guest at his concert. Irma likes the idea, but suggests that Erick be a bit more excited about the concert. Erick is excited, but there was a misunderstanding about the money which his manager and Charly seem to think is a priority; Erick has other priorities. Irma advises that money is needed to pay for various costs; he is lucky to have a manager who looks out for his finances so that he can concentrate on his music and setting up his shows. Irma impresses Erick when she comes up with a short song about continuing to dream and sing.

Yameli goes to Juanjo’s bar. After they apologize to each other, Yameli tells him that she is there on business; they want to have the concert there at his bar. After he agrees, Juanjo points out that they now only talk about business. He sees her very excited about the concert and can’t imagine what she has planned for Charly. Yameli hopes everything will turn out well and assures him that Erick will benefit from the concert.

Ep 39: Part 2 Going for the Jugular Goes Both Ways

Juanjo gets impatient because Charly is late. When he notes that Yameli is always defending Charly, Yameli thinks that Juanjo hates Charly more that she does. Juanjo wonders if Yameli really hates Charly, but Yaneli doesn’t respond because Charly enters.

Erick and Irma eat ice cream as they talk about how they compose songs. Irma like to write songs about things that happen to her…like eating ice cream. She wants Erick to be happier since they both have music in them.. and that is what matters.

Juanjo, Yameli, Diana and Charly sit together as they agree on the contract. When Juanjo gets a call and walks away, Charly complains that Juanjo hasn’t even offered them a drink. Yameli tells him to get up and go ask for one himself. Once Juanjo returns, Charly comments that the bar is really nice, but he was thinking of something larger and different. Juanjo tells him not to worry because his bar is already booked, but he has another place that meets his specifications. Yameli is excited when she guesses correctly that Juanjo got “La Capilla” (the chapel where Charly first sang Yameli’s song publicly). After they all agree, Charly gets up and calls Yameli “princess” when he tells her that they should leave (which Diana takes note of). Yameli tells him she’ll leave later and Diana asks to talk to him outside. After Diana and Charly walk out, Juanjo asks Yameli again if she really hates Charly; Yameli assures him that she feels many things for Charly...and none of them are positive. Outside, Diana tells Charly that her lawyer needs to talk to his lawyer…if he has one. When Charly assures her that he has a very good lawyer, Diana retorts that she hopes so because the person who can hurt him most is the one who knows him best…and she knows everything about him…and she is going to leave him in pieces.

Juanjo questions Yameli about her plans to make Charly fail. Yameli tells Juanjo that within the audience, there will be individuals who will sabotage Charly. As she giggles while removing some lint from Juanjo’s face, Wendy walks in and sarcastically asks if they are conspiring against Charly. After Yameli warns her not to speak too loudly because they can be heard, Wendy asks what time Juanjo will finish his work. When Juanjo replies that he has some things to do, but they can make plans for later, Wendy gets pissy and tells him that she doesn’t want to interfere with his very important work and walks out. Juanjo follows her, but Wendy is upset that every time she wants to do something with Juanjo, he is always with Yameli.

Charly meets with Carolina, a tall, willowy woman with a captivating smile. He tells her she’s beautiful; she replies that he hasn’t changed…he’s just more famous, more successful and has a gray hair here and there, but it just makes him more interesting. Charly warns her not to continue or he might behave badly. When she warns him that his wife is worse than the cops, Charly corrects her, “It’s EX-wife”…that is why he called her…to help him with the divorce. When she asks if he wants it slow and easy or if he wants blood, Charly reminds her that he likes it slow and easy, but on this, he wants blood…she should go for the jugular. After Charly explains about Luxor and how Diana wants half of it, but he wants it all, Caro asks about the prenuptial agreement; so Charly admits that when they signed the pre-nup, he didn’t have a peso. He asks if she can help him, so she responds that, in life, the only thing that can’t be resolved is death…for everything else, he has her.

Ep 39: Part 3 Going for the Jugular Goes Both Ways

At the rehab, Ruco asks two of the patients if anyone has ever escaped from there. They tell him it is very difficult. Meanwhile, Vanesa sneaks in to get her phone and bag. Outside, Ruco calls over Esven, another patient. When Vanessa catches up to Ruco, she watches as Esven collapses in pain and two guards go to him. Ruco takes her hand and pulls her away for their escape. They come to a wall that Ruco wants Vanessa to climb over. Ruco climbs the ladder first, followed by Vanessa.

Charly arrives at Luxor telling Diana that their lawyers need to meet because he is tired of seeing her there. Just then Diana gets a call that Vanessa has disappeared. Charly calls Erick to ask if he has seen her. Meanwhile, Vanessa and Ruco are at his place. Vanesa reminds him that there should be no drugs; they need to stay clean…she also doesn’t want him to deal. When Ruco points out that he didn’t agree to that and tells her that is his business and how he makes money, Vanessa knows he lied and starts to leave, but he pulls her back telling her that they will do it her way. He gets his pills and throws them into the toilet after he tells her that he loves her and that he is doing it for her…but now it’s her turn…she has to leave that hotel.

Yameli is meeting with some staff at Juanjo’s bar and shows them how to set up for the concert. When Juanjo throws a paper plane at her, they smile at each other playfully. Meanwhile, Wendy gets home and cries on her mother’s shoulder.

At Luxor, Erick and Lidia have joined Charly and Diana im their search for Vanessa. Charly asks Erick if he knows where Ruco lives…Vanessa is probably with him., but Erick has no idea where Ruco lives. Afterwards, Charly wants to call the cops, so Erick tells them that Vanessa looked fine when he saw her the day before. Just then, Vanessa calls and tells Charly that she needs some time alone. When Charly orders her to tell him where she is so that they can all talk, Vanessa refuses because he and Diana will only argue and she will be caught in the middle as always. After Vanessa reiterates that she is fine and that is all he should care about, Ruco tells her to hang up. Charly demands that she not hang up and asks if she is with Ruco. If she is, he is going to be very upset…she had better cooperate or she can forget that he is her father. Vanessa thinks he has a good idea because everything that has to do with Charly is bad. Vanessa hangs up on him. When Chary and Diana start arguing, Lidia tries to intervene, but Diana gets upset since she always sides with her son; and she walks out.

Ruco tells Vanessa that she did nothing wrong. He will take care of her…and he wants them to live together. Charly reports Vanessa as missing. When he tells them that he just talked to her about 5 minutes ago, Charly is told that they can’t do anything until Vanesa is missing for 72 hours. Vanessa worries that her parents will find her; and her father will force her out of there. Ruco tells her that he has a friend who is a minor…the friend contracted a lawyer who helped him resolve his problem.

Wendy calla Juanjo and tells him that they can talk when he gets home. They each want things to be well between them. Afterwards, Wendy’s mother tells Wendy that she did fine, but Wendy doesn’t understand why she has to be the one to apologize when it was Juanjo who messed up. Wendy’s mother advises that she needs to show Juanjo that she is the nicest woman so that he won’t going looking elsewhere.

Ruco approaches Yameli as she parks in the garage. He tells her that Vanessa has a little problem and wants her help. When Yameli agrees, Ruco tells her that he will send her the info on her phone.

Ep 39: Part 4 Going for the Jugular Goes Both Ways

Lidia tells Charly that when he gets upset, he reminds her of Monchis…if he hadn’t gotten so upset when Vanessa called, she wouldn’t have hung up on him. Charly can’t believe she would compare him to Monchis…and that he blames him for Vanessa treating him like she does.

Erick goes to talk to Diana who thinks that if Charly had allowed Vanessa to talk to her, Vanesa would probably be there with them. Erick tells her that Vanessa was doing very well…she wants to be better, When Erick tells Diana that what is happening isn’t really that bad, Diana comments that, at his age, things don’t seem to be too bad, but life isn’t like that. Erick believes Vanesa will be fine, but Diana argues that Vanessa has an addiction. Erick thinks Diana should believe in Vanessa who only wants Diana to listen to her without judging her; Erick knows this because he went through the same thing with Monchis. Lidia then comes for Ericka and tells Diana to think about how her fight with Charly is affecting Vanessa (she should have told Charly the same thing!).

Eterno--

Doris, I haven't heard if anyone will be recapping Amor Eterno. I will let you know if I hear anything.

Thanks, Rgv Chick.

REINA

“Going for the Jugular Goes Both Ways” – simply sidebar worthy.

Just genius.

“50 million likes” – wow. Does that beat Taylor Swift?? (I’ve heard she is one of the most “followed” artists, but could be wrong).

“Vanessa agrees and hopes that Ruco doesn’t fail her”. Really Van??? Flushing a handful of drugs down the toilet does not sobriety make. I think that Van is sensible at the core although whatever she sees in Ruco eludes me. Sadly, it appears that even the instability he is offering her seems more enticing than her parents’ constant bickering.

“Charly gets up and calls Yameli “princess” when he tells her that they should leave (which Diana takes note of)”. I couldn’t believe it when I heard and saw that! It was so obvious there is something going on Now, Diana is savvy and I was shocked she didn’t have a more vitriolic reaction. She must have dismissed it due to her false sense of friendship with Yameli.

“she knows everything about him…and she is going to leave him in pieces”. With all this squabbling, will there be anything left of Charly’s carcass for Yameli??

“she responds that, in life, the only thing that can’t be resolved is death…for everything else, he has her”. Hmm. Caro, another piranha, joins the pool to which fresh blood has just been added.

“Wendy’s mother advises that she needs to show Juanjo that she is the nicest woman so that he won’t going looking elsewhere”. Bad advice mama. Wendy is not keeping her insecurities and fears under wraps. She cannot look the other way. And while she is entitled to do so, her situation is of her own doing. You cannot make someone love you or love you more. You agree and accept the conditions or you leave. Wendy is just going to continue to make herself and Juanjo more miserable.

Love that the concert venue will be “La Capilla”.

Just fantastic Rgv Chick. Thank you, thank you.

Diana

Thank you, Rgv Chick.

Bad decision again by Vanesa. She is immature, needs babysitting and mentoring, but her parents are busy fighting, and she is adrift. Ruco will obviously continue with the drugs.

Chickie, thank you so much for get another wonderful recap. I look forward to cheesecake every day. This are truly a bright spot for me. This is the best show that I have watched in a long tine. Jack returning would make it even better.

Wow, another ruthless woman enters the picture. Charles lawyer...what is this new character going to bring ?

Looks like Erich and the new girl will become songwriting and singing partners...but he won't be a Charly.

Yami is playing with fire now that Monchis is dead ( is he ?) And she is focusing on destroying Charly, who is so conceited that he doesnt notice the scorned women circling him for their revenge. Yikes.

Ot...hi, Doris, I was looking for you and wondering how your recovery is going. Hope that you are better each day.

Cheesecake....????...what? ..I hate autocorrect...and I don't even eat cheesecake??! Sorry.

REINA-SOY

Thank you, DIana , Lucio and Susanlynn. We have a small patio, but a delightful one with such great insight.

Diana, I have no idea what Vanessa sees in Ruco other than a way to strike back at her parents and as you stated, being with Ruco is much more enticing and peaceful (for now, probably) than returning to that hell house full of resentment and anger. And " You cannot make someone love you or love you more." Can we have that stamped on Wendy's forehead :-)

Lucio, I don't trust a word Ruco says and I don't think he'll stop the drugs either. I suspect that the pills he flushed down the toilet were only some worthless pills he was keeping around.

Susanlynn, "Charly, who is so conceited that he doesn't notice the scorned women circling him for their revenge." Exactly! He thinks they're circling around him trying to score...not for scorn.

REINA

Rgv Chick, yes, we are few but our enthusiasm makes up for what we lack in numbers. Your summaries are always enthralling.

Lucio, yes, Vanesa is immature - I opt for the babysitting option :)

Susanlynn, like Rgv Chick, I loved the "circling for their revenge" comment. So true! Charly's outsize ego would not allow for the possibility of how much hurt and havoc he has caused.

Can't wait until tonight! Friday usually has some sort of cliffhanger or very pivotal happenings.

Diana

The bright spots right now are Erich and Irma and ice cream. It's nice to have a young , naive couple who are at the start of their life journey and not jaded, corrupt, and ruthless. Thank you , writers, for this rating hope in the darkness of this novela.

After teaching in a high school,I think that it is not uncommon for a teen with a difficult homelife to cling to a boyfriend or girlfriend. Also, the young often are so easily influenced into believing that drugs are the answer to their problems. RUCo has been attentive, flattering, and seductive. Come with me, and I will set you free from your problemic parents.

OT

❤️Susanlynn, thank you for asking. I'm doing pretty well for being three months out from surgery. Still some sore muscles from the procedure itself, and that can take a long while to resolve. Im basically back to normal and it feels great. Take care! (((Hugs)))

Ep 40: Part 1 Easy Money Don’t Come Easy

Yameli meets with Vanessa and Ruko at a park. Vanessa needs Yameli’s help because she was to be independent from her father. Yami thinks Vanessa can’t become independent since she is a minor and doesn’t work. When Ruko chimes in that he will work and take care of Vanessa, Yami shuts him off and continues to advise Vanessa that when a woman goes to live with a man it is for love and other reasons that she doesn’t see with Vanessa. Vanessa argues that it would be dumb of her to go live with her mother who is the first person she saw drinking or her father who is a drunk and a womanizer. Yami then hugs her and agrees to help Vanesa get a lawyer.

Diana returns to Charly’s office. As they comment about how they feel helpless, Yami enters and pretends to know nothing about Vanessa; so Charly and Diana tell her that Vanessa is with Ruko. They start their bickering and blame game until Diana walks out. Charly wants Yami to go home with him, but Yami tells him to at least wait until Diana has left the building.

Charly and Yami arrive at his apartment. When Yami comments that adolescents usually rebel and that Charly shouldn’t worry, Charly remarks that he can’t help but worry…though Yami wouldn’t understand since she isn’t a mother. Yami flashes back to the fist time she held her baby, then contains her anger and agrees that she doesn’t know…and she has to leave to go pick up some papers.

Erick and Serg watch Erick’s video as they talk about Vanessa. Serg then shows Erick the number of followers he has; so Erick gets excited and wonders if they will attend his concert. Serg thinks that Erick will outshine Charly at the concert…people will go to the concert to see only Erick. Erick insists that he is not competing with Charly, but Serg knows that Erick will win.

Yami calls Zaria to ask about a lawyer who specializes in family law. Zaria knows someone and will get Yami the info.

Diana enters her new, very quiet, spacious apartment and looks around. She goes to the balcony and starts looking at an old video of Charly playing around with her.

Juanjo goes to see Yami at her apartment. Yami is feeling “meh” and can’t talk to Juanjo because of her promise to Wendy. When Juanjo brings out the chocolates, Yami quickly changes her mind and lets him in…but he’d better not tell Wendy. Yami then tells Juanjo about Vanessa and how she wants to get emancipated. When Yami expresses how worried she is about Vanessa and that she wants to protect her, Juanjo smiles and tells her that is the good, sweet Yami he knows. After Yami shares what Charly told her about not having children, Juanjo thinks that Yami is going to use Vanessa to get back at Charly. Yami insists that she is only trying to help Vanessa. Charly took her son from her and she survived; Charly will be apart for Vanessa for only a while…nothing will happen to him.

Juanjo arrives home to find Wendy waiting for him surrounded by candles. She wants things to be well between them and leads him up to the bedroom where they share a night of passion.

Ep 40: Part 2 Easy Money Don’t Come Easy

Next Morning—

Zaria and Yami have breakfast together. After Zaria gives Yami the number for the family attorney, Yami tells her that the next thing to do is make sure that Chris Vega finds out that Charly betrayed him and is having a concert without him. Zaria should be ready for Yami’s call. Later, Yami takes Vanessa the lawyer’s card and asks Vanessa not to tell her parents that she gave them the info. Before leaving, Yami urges Vanessa to call her parents.

Wendy promises Juanjo that she is not going to interfere with is work; and she will be understanding of his work hours. After Wendy’s mother enters the kitchen, Juanjo leaves; so mom tells Wendy that she overheard Wendy talking to Juanjo and she did very well.

The attorney meets with Vanessa and tells her that they don’t have good case. The information Vanessa gave him about her father isn’t sufficient for her to be emancipated…and her escape from the rehab center is not going to help either. He advises that Vanessa talk to her parents and come to some type of agreement.

Charly arrives at his office to find Diana there. After Diana tells him how lonely she felt in her new apartment and they comment on how much they miss Vanessa, Vanessa calls them to set up a meeting, but Vanessa doesn’t want her father yelling at her again. On their way out, they see Yami arriving. Once Diana goes to the car, Charly thanks Yami for being with him the previous night. Yami responds coldly and wishes him luck with Vanesa.

Vanessa tells Charly and Diana that she wants to live with Ruco. Diana points out that Vanessa never lacked for anything, Vanessa agrees, but reproaches them for having sent her to a rehab center…and Charly didn’t allow her to be a model. When Ruko tries to intervene, Charly gets huffy and tells him that this a family issue. Diana asks Vanessa to go live with her, but Charly doesn’t want her begging Vanessa and tries to grab Vanessa, but Ruko pushes him away. Vanessa warns Charly that if they force her to leave, she will call Zaria …she can tell her about Silvana (who is Silvana? The one sin lana?) which will hurt his career. After Vanessa tells Charly to leave, Charly storms out and Diana follows him. As they argue, Charly gets a text and rushes off leaving Diana to get back on her own. Inside, Ruko tries to console Vanessa who is still upset…her parents wouldn’t even listen to her. She then gets a text from Erick, but Ruko would rather make her feel better by taking her to bed.

Charlie arrives at a “business” meeting where Toño awaits. Before entering the warehouse they both get searched. They enter and meet Don Edgar (Arturo Peniche in a gruesome red wig and a blood red suit to match). Don Edgar shares that he was a very good friend of Monchis…they started working together when they were very young. Don Edgar is going to give Charly the money Monchis made on a business deal. Edgar shows Charly a pile of money that he will be giving him, but first they toast to Monchis. They then walk over to a suitcase of money. Charly doesn’t have to count the money since he trusts Don Edgar, When he grabs a bundle of money, Don Edgar tells him that there is no hurry…and not all the money is there. When Charly questions if he is going to charge him commission for money that belongs to him, Don Edgar laughs because Charly is exactly like Monchis. Don Edgar then explains that Monchis owed him a favor….and Charly will have to pay him the favor. When Charly refuses to do the favor, Don Edgar accepts the refusal, but adds that the money will stay there.

REINA-SOY
Ep 40: Part 3 Easy Money Don’t Come Easy

Charly quickly changes his mind and asks what it is he has to do; so Don Edgar tells him that he will need part of the money to invest in a business he wants in Jalisco. Once the business is set up, Charly can have his money…double the money actually. Charly tries to back out, but Don Edgar insists that he is either in or out…unless Charly doesn’t like easy money. It doesn’t take long for Charly to concede that he adores easy money. Don Edgar then hands him the money and allows them to leave. As they leave, Charly chides Toño for not telling him about the favor…he doesn’t want to get involved with those people. Toño knew nothing about the favor and thinks that once Charly starts making his money, he’ll change his mind.

Yameli and Diana go to Juanjo’s bar to talk. Wendy calls Juanjo to ask if they can have dinner together, but Juanjo tells her to go ahead without him; he’ll be in later. Wendy’s mother, who was listening, advises Wendy that she will need to change her strategy and start marking her territory a little at a time. This is the time that Wendy needs to be smart…and trust her mommy.

Vanessa is fast asleep when Ruko gets a text message (Drug deal???). He looks at it and thinks hard before putting the phone down.

At Juanjo’s bar, Yami and Diana talk about Vanessa. After Diana tells her what happened, she tells Yami that she actually wants to talk to her about something else. Diana suspects that Charly has another woman. She is not the type to hire a detective to follow Charly, but she saw that Charly got a message today and he left very quickly...she had never seen him like that. Yami wonders why Diana needs to find out since it will only hurt her more, but Diana needs to know who that fox is…because she loves Charly. After Yami gives Diana a consoling hug, she goes to the restroom and tries to call Charly, but gets his voicemail. Later, Yami agrees to get Diana the name of a detective who can help her get info on Charly.

Axel questions Charly about the business in Jalisco…it’s only going to bring him down just like it did to Monchis. Charly argues that Don Edgar is forcing him to do it…and it’s only temporary; he needs money for the concert and for Diana. Charly wants to buy out Diana’s portion of Luxor because Luxor is his.

After Diana leaves, Yami shares with Juanjo what Diana told her about Vanesa. Juanjo thinks Charly must be having a hard time with Vanessa’s threat to go to the media…Yami should be happy. Yami argues that is not enough; she wants Charly in jail. When she mentions that Diana wants to hire a detective to follow Charly since she suspects Charly has another woman, Juanjo points out that Yami is the other woman. Yami explains that the detective will be working for her…and she can kill two birds with one stone—she can protect Diana whose heart will be broken if she finds out Charly has another woman; and Yami will find out if Charly is into something else and have the evidence to bring him down.

Yami calls Zaria to tell her that it’s time for Chris find out about Charly’s concert….she will tell Zaria exactly what to do. Later Chris sees the advertisement about the concert and gets upset.

The Next Morning—

Charly enters his office to find Chris and his mother…who chides Charly for not living up to the contract they have. When Charly retorts that the contract only states that they will produce Chris’s songs, Chris’s mom argues that they raised Chris’s hopes, then let him down. More arguing about what went wrong with Chris’s song until Charly points out that he gave Chris his wings and he can take them away. Chris’s mom gets up and tells Charly that this will not stay like this. After they leave, Charly is glad Chris left because only the worthwhile people will be left at Luxor…like Yami who has never let him down. With her devious smile, Yami assures him that she will never let him down.

"REINA":

RGV Chick: Thank you for the recap. Why do I get the feeling Yameli's revenge plan will blow up in her face ?

REINA

Oh wow, what a great title Rgv Chick. Just perfect. And I howled when I saw Arturo Peniche in that ankle-baring, gruesome pantsuit. The vest, the belt, the sockless shoes, the ponytail...just a fabulous horror. What fun the costume department must have had with that one. I do love to see those scenes where the actors seem to be having fun. And this was definitely one of them. What a hoot!

Still very poignant to see Wendy fighting to hang on to the shreds of her marriage. And Diana as well. Like Susanlynn, I'd like to see Jack come back and whisk Yameli off to a life without vengeance and hate. But he's sure taking his time.

BRING BACK JACK!!!!!

Thanks Chickie. Not just for this recap but for all that you do. Above and beyond, amiga, above and beyond.

Chickie, thanks so much for another exciting recap of all the action. I don't know how you do it, but I look forward to the recaps everyday.

Wow, I thought that guy looked like Arturo , but then I thought...no...couldn't be. I bet he loved getting hi teeth into this quirky character with a unique look. He was great in Alborada as Lucero's husband with a gender identity crisis .

Yami is going to end up hurting her own heart and soul as she spins out her vengeance on oblivious Charly and creates a lot of collateral damage.

Yes, Bring back Jack.

REINA

Loved the title Rgv Chick!

This episode was intense and you captured the swirling emotions perfectly.

"It doesn’t take long for Charly to concede that he adores easy money" was one of my favorite lines. Too many to count.

"This is the time that Wendy needs to be smart…and trust her mommy". Hmmm. Initially I thought mama was sweet and loving. And now? Mommy dearest has nothing on her.

"Charly remarks that he can’t help but worry…though Yami wouldn’t understand since she isn’t a mother. Yami flashes back to the fist time she held her baby, then contains her anger and agrees that she doesn’t know" was painful to watch. I cannot imagine her loss. I wish her pain could have been eased by the wish to be kind instead of revengeful.

"After Yami shares what Charly told her about not having children, Juanjo thinks that Yami is going to use Vanessa to get back at Charly. Yami insists that she is only trying to help Vanessa. Charly took her son from her and she survived; Charly will be apart for Vanessa for only a while…nothing will happen to him". Powerful and yet I cringed as the words sank in.

"When Yami expresses how worried she is about Vanessa and that she wants to protect her, Juanjo smiles and tells her that is the good, sweet Yami he knows". I'm not sure I agree. The new Yameli makes me uneasy.

Yameli could have offered to broker the peace between Van and her parents. Giving Van the lawyer's card and leaving her with Ruco was abandoning the young girl to an uncertain, fearful fate. Seen as a confidante by Vanesa and a friend by Diana is a smoke screen and lies, pure and simple.

I'm not enjoying seeing Charly sink deeper and deeper as his family implodes. Justice is one thing and is separate from revenge. Three people are going to have their lives in ruin - if Charly survives.

"Don Edgar (Arturo Peniche in a gruesome red wig and a blood red suit to match)" was amazing!!! I found myself staring at the hideous hair piece while trying to take in the outfit and the red jeggings (all the bad boyz sport them here don't they?). Last, I looked at the face and burst out laughing. I love Arturo and he seemed have a grand time scowling, cajoling, sporting a smile that never quite reached his eyes.

I am with mi amigas Judy and Susanlynn to bring Jack back. The one thing this TN lacks is true, passionate love. I don't see Yameli and Juanjo getting there.

Just wonderful Rgv Chick. Wonderful -thank you.

Thank you, Rgv Chick.

The biggest impression of this episode was Don Edgar's outfit. Ponytail or whatever it was, belt buckle, gold chain around the neck, the suit, pants, socks!

The private detective idea is promising. Why didn't Yamelí thought of it herself? All that concert sabotage and Cris Vega argument are only minor annoyances that will not bring down Charly.

Lucio, that belt buckle that was the size of Bolivia. Thank you for mentioning that as well as the chain...

Too much Arturo to take in (smiling ear to ear I note).

Although we know what's going on (primarily to Rgv Chick's meticulous detail), I have no idea how this is going to turn out. And that is fine with me!
