El Dragón #35, 11/19/19: Ruh Roh Scooby Do there's a war going on, but we don't know whose side we are on.
Labels: dragon
Laughing continued with "We left with some Japanese guy caught doing something alone in a bathtub and subsequently being punished for it. I thought it was kinda severe, but the Japanese are different about those things".
Just great.
Then I saw it was you Kirby and it all made sense.
I'm sure you are all enjoying this!
Diana
Regarding Hec and Ana..."Did I doze off and miss a complete episode where they made up and she forgave him?" Exactly! When did that happen!? Are they slicing and dicing already?? Why don;t they slice away at the torture?
I have to wonder why Vic was so "uninterested." Could it be that NotVal was the one who placed him there? Since Ad wasn't giving much info and now Chisca is stoopidly getting everything that NotVal wants, maybe Vic will suddenly disappear.
More laters...gotta go mow some weeds :-(
I am hoping that there will be a return to the more traditional telenovela storylines. Please. These shows are getting me down.
She is like a zombie robot. A horny zombie robot.
Adela is still working on the foundation stuff gets caught sniffing Migs jacket (I was waiting for her to raise her tail and spray it)
Adela, I like you, but your sniffing the boss’s jacket in his office - just no. And if that wasn’t enough, Kirby takes a huge screenshot so we’ll never forget it.
Didn’t know Adela was so buddy-buddy with Dora that she’d tell her about the hitman before telling Mig about it. Oh well, the plot must move…
Hector’s wife forgiveness did come quick, but after what's-her-name got the wife to visit Hector so he'd stop being super self-destructive with Carlos/cartel, I suppose the wife saw that she had the greatest influence on him because he loved her, not what's-her-name. But going on the run with him? What about their baby? Oh well, grandparents to the rescue.
The super tall, thin Japanese bodyguard and Peligro make a good odd couple.
Mig is so busy with this yakuza war thing that he hasn’t bothered to take Jimena sightseeing, much less visit her bed. Jimena's hissyfit ("Don't take me for a geisha!) made me laugh.
I hope Miguel finds that hitman before Dora & her goons whack him....
Niecie: Miguel is living in a DREAM WORLD. Idiot has no idea & I'm going to be sitting back to watch the realization when he finds out his late grandfather had Miguel's parents whacked.
RGV Chick: Expect more chaos before 2019 ends.
Only you would get the sniffing scene and memorialize it when the rest of us want to forget it. And what is OCD-Mig doing leaving a jacket hanging on a hook in his office anyway. It's not the Japanese way.
I don't blame Jimena one bit for being in a snit. She thought she'd be getting plenty of nookie, all alone on a trip to mysterious Japan. I wonder what she's been doing to entertain herself all day, serious bathtub time maybe?
The tall Japanese guy reminds me of Lurch. (Can you believe he-Carl Struycken- played "the brute" in Sgt.Peppers Loney Hearts Club Band? I certainly don't remember him.....but that was 1978.)
RGV--interesting take on Vic, a maybe NotVal plant. I immediately noticed the look on his face as he was walking away, then turned back to tell Ade goodnight. It's still hard to know what he's all about.
The murder of Kim is about as gruesome as I've seen in a novela. Not sure how I feel about this. Are these sorts of stories getting truly high ratings now?
If the new head of programming at Televisa is someone more disposed to Televisa's more emotional stories, that explains why something as hokey as La Rosa de Guadalupe is not only still running but running in Prime even here.
Anyway, Chisca has really done it now. This should get her banished from the family if Jimena doesn't kill her first for beginning the destruction of the empire she hopes to be empress of. Fat chance of that anyway.
I hate the idea of Tadamichi getting whacked. He's so interesting.
Adela sniffing was the best scene of the show to me. And women Do that. Well, we men do too, sort of, but you wouldn't put our explorations in the laundry hamper on TV.
Urban, yeah, I like Tadamichi and want him to stay around longer. This is an interesting story in one small way. We see the reprehensible Garza family business, and Miguel seemingly insulated from it growing up in Japan. The Japanese almost wrote the book on harmony, peace and tolerance it seems.
Mr. Miguel returns home to the reality of the family business and we suspect he is basically good deep inside, based on his Japanese roots, and we are waiting for it to bubble to the surface.
Then Lo and Behold, we follow him to Japan and see the Japanese equivalent of the Garzas.
