El Dragón #40, 11/26/19: Murder she wrote
Labels: dragon
Best scene of the night: Adrianna in the gym telling Chiscass she is sick of her shit and aint gonna take it anymore----Goodbye ya screwed up selfish beyotch. And the "I think I just saw a space alien" look on piece of sheet Chiscass' face.
OK I get it writers, we do not know which one of Miguel's NON family members are plotting against him along with half of Mexico. WE don't care, drop it, or tell us who it is.
I somehow all along thought I didn't like Dora the Explora, she confirmed it last night. Bring back her boyfriend, the one who tied her to a table on their last 'date'.
Poor Mr. Migster is so conflicted now with Aw Heck's come to Jesus speech and Adela just getting out of IC. I'm waiting for Bugs Bunny's little shoulder Angel and Devil to appear on his.
Steve, I am not so sure about your prediction on Edna. Everybody seems to believe she is a little tigress-pitbull mix and fears her. ePig even told Duarte that 'Edna has bigger balls than you.' I think the cat and mouse with Edna and Miguel will be fun, like the old Spy vs Spy thing.
So Jorge wants to get married, now that (ONCE) he is no longer a virgin? Oh Crap. Kenia will now be running and hiding from 'them' AND Jorge.
That's the third time Miguel has used some sort of "medical technique" to help someone out medically, first Hector, then Peligros and now Adela. I would like to hear him explain in a scene where he got that kind of training. Instead of the doctor being outraged that Miguel intervened and performed a precordial thump on Adela, he was impressed. I doubt that would be a doctor's reaction in real life lol. I've seen the precocial thump done on Grey's Anatomy.
Once in a while, Jimena shows a burst of self-esteem with Miguel. She tells him directly she won't be second best to Adela so he best decide. If she wasn't so manipulative and sneaky, I'd have more sympathy and be on her side. She already knows she's second, or even third best to him.
Oh Dora. Such a cold and most of all stupid decision she's made to eliminate, of all people, Adela? She's panicking and not thinking right. Adela knows nothing more than what she's already told Miguel. The only real threat to her dirty secret is obviously Epig. I actually thought for a moment when Peligros advised her hypothetically about eliminating a threat that she was going to be badass and go after Epigmenio. That would be awesome. It never crossed my mind she'd go after Adela. That's unforgivable. I was actually shocked. I hope she comes to her senses tonight or I'm done with her.
Two hour episodes of El Dragon today and Friday - from 9 to 11. Back to the regular time slot on Monday.
So now we have a turning point in our Victory - Adela mystery. It is already a forgone conclusion that there is something about her he is interested in, and based on her personality and looks that is QED. But is it simply that and our suspicions about his ulterior motives are just that, only suspicions?
Now after she murmurs that dreaded word 'Miguel', dreamily to Vic, he should have the Jimenema syndrome, also known as second fiddle. So if he continues pursuing Adela does that mean that he really does have some Not Val style sinister plot?
Dora, really? Someone (sorry, forgot who) speculated that Dora may have deliberately not gotten psych help for Jorge to protect her husband's secret. After last night, I wouldn't put anything past Dora. Even if she changes her mind and stops herself from smothering Adela, I'm done with her.
I doubt that would be a doctor's reaction in real life lol.
Anon@9:13, Yep, in real life the doc would've been ticked that a mere visitor showed him up in front of his medical team.
Vic seems (naturally) annoyed at the "Mig, Mig, Mig, Mig, Mig" coming out of Adela, but not angry. I'm still thinking he's got an ulterior motive for hanging around her.
The mole seems to be savvy, only making the investigators think she/he is giving them something valuable when so far the information is useless against Mig.
I'm still trying to get over the "Cuna" final, so I don't have much to add.
Kirby, "Best scene of the night: Adrianna in the gym telling Chiscass she is sick of her shit and aint gonna take it anymore----Goodbye ya screwed up selfish beyotch. And the "I think I just saw a space alien" look on piece of sheet Chiscass' face." ITA!! Hip, hip, HOORAY! for Adriana.
Backy, "Oh Dora. Such a cold and most of all stupid decision she's made to eliminate, of all people, Adela? She's panicking and not thinking right. Adela knows nothing more than what she's already told Miguel. The only real threat to her dirty secret is obviously Epig. I actually thought for a moment when Peligros advised her hypothetically about eliminating a threat that she was going to be badass and go after Epigmenio." You read my mind! I'm hoping that she is only visualizing what she would like to do to Adela and snap out of it tonight.
So Peligros and Ishiro filled a couple of small "carry-ons" with EVERYTHING that might incriminate Miguel? That was all? Random sheets of paper? How did Peligros & Ishi know what to take and what to leave....(me thinking too hard) - did the computers melt? In that fire, ALL the papers should have been cinders. Cute scene of Ishi standing ontop of the elevator (now where have I seen that before - and often)? Cuter still was the deadpan interview with Edna. There's no comic relief in this tale, but Ishi comes close.
Agree, Dora wasn't thinking beyone her nose. She's trying to protect herself, not the secret from getting out. However, slaughtering the ePig wouldn't have done it. That would have started an all-out war.
One, maybe, clue. Flaco needed to find some face recognition software. OK. Then an envelope with a perp's face is placed in the locker for the FBI. Tada! Connection? I think so.
Kirby, yes indeed it is me! I just don't find much time to comment during the week. Ever since I got my new job and I'm supervising a staff of 10, I'm busy from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day with not much time for breaks. Today I am off though. Anyway, will Dora get interrupted or will she suddenly change her mind with an attack of conscience?
Becky, I used to watch Grey's Anatomy too. I don't remember that particular technique.
I'm still trying to figure out Victor. Who is he really working for? Does anyone think he is the mole?
Anita: Perhaps a lot of stuff was saved to the server and the server is taken down already by Flaco. So all there would be left would be some minor stuff. They may have taken all hard drives from any computers that were still in tact. We just don't know where the server is located or if there is a backup server for emergencies. I haven't heard Edna talk about the servers, but I'm kind of techy and know a lot of this stuff.
Cynthia: I think Victor is the mole, but wouldn't be surprised if Jimena is the mole either. Victor is obsessed with Adela (if she doesn't get whacked tonight).
RGV Chick: Glad to see this Telenovela doing 2 HRS.....
It's just that I didn't SEE any computers. I think Miguel was concerned about the information on the computers and Flaco said not to worry or sth like that. Mostly what was left for us to see were dangling wires and HVAC conduits. The sprinklers should have started working or first responders getting water up to put out the blaze, but the floor (and those papers) were dry. Ah well, no need to overthink. Go with the flow--or be the flow.
Victor is a conundrum. I think writing him that way is intentional. There aren't really any other secrets from us except now the mole.
I didn't notice computers either in the scene. But they could have been knocked over on the floor. All they really needed to get are the hard drives inside the computers. Even with damaged computers, you can still get the information out of the hard drive because the hard drive has everything, you can even get stuff that was erased off a hard drive cuz it never really goes away. I just wonder where their emergency server is. But I am overthinking, aren't I? :)
I appreciate any help with the tech aspects of these shows ( or real life because I am clueless).
I can not remember what if anything I have seen in Dragon, but DO remember thinking recently sometime "Sheezo don't these strokes have any REAL computers?" Probably not that there is any real advantage, short of a better keyboard and larger screen, but 'real' computers seem more like part of the infrastructure, rather than something you brought to work, and it leaves when you do, like personal property.
What a way to start the evening....almohadacide or a Miggy intervention. I don’t think Dora will have a bit of remorse unless someone interrupts. She’s really going at it with all her anger and strength. She has to keep that secret from breathing out. She should have gone after El Gato first, it seems to me. Hmmm. Maybe a moment of clarity will hit her. OTOH, we know what a scrapper Adela is. Except that she’s in a weakened state, she should be able to take on Dora.
It was a long and complicated 2 hours. I'm not even halfway through the 1st hour. Hang in everyone.
