Sorry this is late but I had a buffering problem last night on the live stream and had to wait until the video was available for replay. I'm glad I did because certain things were clearer.

Claudia actually annoyed me more than Chisca last night. Claudia has been coming onto Hector from day one, but now she's all hurt and remorseful because they got caught by his wife, in the marriage bed. Mujer, you had no issues going after a married man with a baby, so quit your "woe with me!"

So Chisca does have some standards: public porno is a no-no. That's a start. I'm guessing Flaco does have the skills to erase the video from the net but there's nothing he can do about the folks who already copied it.

Urban, ITA Vic was too gushy on Adela's return. Even Adela accused him of being "empalagoso" (over-emotional, over-sentimental). I know she needs helping getting over Mig, but I was surprised she suggested they take the relationship to a new level. Still, I don't think she'll be as dumb as Chisca and feed him information about Mig's biz. He'll have to dig for it.

You go, Angel. Not taking Mig's beatdown solo and dragging Valentin into Mig's sights too. Except I don't know how much Angel knows about Valentin.
 

I think the least he knows is that Valentin has been using Chisca with the goal of finding out more about Miguel's business dealings. I also think he knows about the rape. I still don't understand why Chisca didn't drop Valentin on his cojones after that.

This shows that once you're on any digital media you really lose control of it.

Not that we have seen that Mrs. Val deserves it, but she probably does, but I wanted Chisca to heave her over the rail onto a car ten floors below. Now THAT would get the popo's attention, and she is out of her home country. After all the bullshit Chisca has pulled, isn't it time to let her lie in the bed she has made?

So Migster assembles a Task Force Orion and scrambles the jet to go rescue Chisca. Miggy has a malady many capable men have. They are fixers, mainly because they can. So these fixers always fix or try to fix things. Sometimes all that is needed is a shoulder to cry on and someone to listen, but fixers always try to fix whatever is wrong, or at least tell the cryer how to fix it. Wrong. Adela astutely picked up on that.

Hector is stupid. Add drunk to the mix and as we saw with his little Duarte speech, Dead Drunk Talking. Oh well Ana told him that she never wanted to see him again and HER daughter would never see him again either. Careful what you wish for.

OK I give up, was it some cross between some Santa Muerte shrine and a Christmas tree? It looked like someone rolled themselves in contact cement and then ran amok in Hobby Lobby. Everybody but Viewerville thought it was nice. Whatever.

Kirby, I agree that Adela's quip to Jimena was pretty funny, "So if you are a couple, then why are you in the guest room?" And I agree that Mig has this rescuer complex. They just want to be the ones who save the day. And why doesn't Mig figure out why Jimena keeps showing up when she isn't invited.

Well I hope we don't see Hector whacked off in the next few episodes. He sure is making Duarte angry. This was not the time to do this. But perhaps he thinks that he's lost Ana and Claudia just resigned, so he's venting his anger on Duarte. Unfortunately, it won't produce any benefits for him.

As for Chisca, who knows? Angel sure is vicious. I thought he was nicer before this 3-some, but now, what a creep.


 

Oh Cynthia, Angel? I am completely on his side. Chisca uses people and discards them like a fish wrapper. Her Brother, Dora, Adrianna, Angel, Jimena, (there's the door'?) the list just goes on and on. It would have been a helluva sacrifice, but he should have given her some STD too and followed her to the doctor, videoing it all the way. Turn about's fair play.

I wonder, before Adela gives up on Miggy and lets Whatshisname buy her a Cubic Zirconia, maybe she could try what works for everyone else, just take your clothes off girl. He may act sooo noble, but I know there is a dog deep down inside there somewhere.
 

UA.....thank you . So many Despicable Thems in this story. Between the darkness of this show and Autumn suddenly turning into dark winter here where I am, I am struggling to Stay positive.I need to watch The Voice and some chores next shows tonight, but I will surf into this dark drama. TElenovelas used to be about love and family and the good triumphing over the bad.
 

It was dark here by 4 today, not to mention freezing. I've been holed up here all day writing and contemplating my next seashell project.

Chisca needs to be given an ultimatum: Go into an inpatient psych ward voluntarily and not try to escape or the money gets cut off and she will have to -- Que horror! -- work for a living.
 

Urban I was thinking something similar. When she arrived in Madrid, she is partying, staying in the most expensive (looking) place in town, and I thought, "Wow the girl has an endless supply of money." Master Migster is enabling her so to speak. She escapes from her first stint in rehab and there are ZERO repercussions.

She hops on a plane at the drop of a hat and travels to ANOTHER COUNTRY to stalk her boyfriend. Reminds me of every car commercial now where the big feature is that if someone is brain dead and walks directly in front of a moving 2 ton car, the car stops rather than let natural selection remove them from the gene pool.

Susuanlynn - I share your lament about the state of tns today. I was watching Destilando Amor recently and re-read old comments. I miss tns like that; it wasn't perfect, too long for my taste, but nothing extremely dark like ED.

Does anyone know if if Médicos Línea de Vida will be recapped?

Since it's produced by José Alberto (El Güero) Castro, I thought it might be worth watching. Except for the 'left hanging' ending, he did a pretty good job on Amar a Muerte; and, better yet, on Teresa if you selected the Mexícan fairytale ending (version #1), IMO.

I'm not sure when MLDV will premier on Univisión, but it started yesterday on Las Estrellas (is that an American channel??), however, it is available now on Dailymotion.

But it's no fun watching if you guys don't recap and one gets to read such lively and entertaining comments.

The cross between a 'Christmas Tree and Santa Muerte shrine' is a Mexícan'Tree of Life' sculpture. They range from simple tokens to extravagant, brightly colored sculptures. They were created in central Mexico, especially in the municipality of Metepec, State of Mexico.

To me they are absolutely unique and beautiful in their uniqueness and the story the sculptor is trying to tell.
