El Dragón #46, 12/3/19 (Season 2 Episode 8): Another toast to….whatever…

We open with Howard convincing the Panamanian officials he needs a court order from the judge immediately because this is the tip of the iceberg. Then he goes with the police with his court order, but only finds an old man who says he is paid by some lawyer named Aventour to receive mail. He gives Howard an address, so Howard leaves. He goes to the next address and is very frustrated to find nothing. He asks who pays the rent, but the answer is, “it’s paid in cash.” No iceberg, no tip. Nobody knows anything.

At the newly remodeled Garza offices, Jimena arrives for a staff meeting. Trejo announces that the problem in Panama with Aventour is now solved. He says they will now have to be even more careful about security. Then Jimena makes some remark about the cyber security, taking a poke a Flaco. Trejo says they just need to stay alert.

At Sucesos where Hector works, Claudia is explaining something about ePig Moncada and Hector says things are just stagnant. They start with Natalia’s story, but then Hector gets a message with pictures of his daughter. He starts gazing at his phone and not paying attention to Claudia. He says he hates being an absent father and he misses his daughter very much. Claudia says he needs to follow through with their investigation so that he can make a better world for his daughter.

Val is on the phone with a business friend regarding the Efilina drug. He says whatever he can get from Miguel and Chisca, well you know…addicts are very easy to manipulate.

Howard gets back to Miami and his boss is not happy to hear that Howard’s trip was a total loss. The boss says one of them is going to fall, either Miguel Garza or Howard.

In Madrid, Miguel, Chisca, and Val are together. Miguel says he has to go to Seville. Val “offers” to take care of the Efilina prototype, but Miguel says he has it well guarded and hidden away. He tells Ishiro he left orders that only he (Ishiro) can enter Miguel’s room. Another thing too Miguel tells him, “don’t leave Chisca alone.”

After Mig leaves, Val tells Chisca he has to go take care of something but he has a big surprise for her when he returns.

In Mexico City, Dr. Farchala and his wife are being taken care of for a new identity. Kenia takes their pictures for new ID cards and new identity documents and new biographies with new backgrounds. Jimena gives them strict instructions to not communicate with family or friends. From now on, they have a new life. They get the keys to their new home.

Hans Pritken is not happy that his scientist cannot duplicate Dr. Farchala’s formula.

Well it looks like Val really is getting a divorce. But it’s a ruse because his wife Isabela is in on it. Apparently he’s promised her something if she goes along with it so he can get what he wants from Chisca and finally take over Miguel’s business. He promises when that happens, then they will finally get to live as they deserve.

Miguel arrives in Seville, Spain and later chats with Adela on the phone. She asks what side of the bed he sleeps on and Miguel says he never thought about it. She says she will imagine him on the opposite side of the bed when she goes to bed.

Howard and his wife seem to be arguing. Apparently she wants a little kinky “fun” with some company, but Howard says no. She’s angry because all he does is sit there with his whiskey listening to opera. But he says they must use some discretion because he thinks Miguel has some physical evidence on them.

Dr. Farchala and his wife has moved to Xico, Vera Cruz, Mexico. They have a new home there. She is very happy and has a little contraction.

Val proudly shows Chisca his divorce certificate. She is overjoyed. Val tries to give Ishiro some “get lost” money, but he isn’t taking the bait, instead says he is under orders from Miguel. He follows them as they party and Val announces Chisca as his future wife, toasting to the occasion. Val sees Chisca pull out a plastic baggie of cocaine, but he takes it from her, say she needs to take care of herself. He tries to woo her with talk of having two or three kids together.

ePig and his new cohort talk about Zargosa and some of the men who have abandoned ePig to go work with Zaragosa instead. They are traitors.

In Seville, Miguel and his friend Paco pull up to a vineyard that Miguel is interested in buying. He meets Maria Terry, owner of the vineyard. Maris shows Miguel around the vineyard. He wants to know why she is still single and she says she would like to find a guy who she could share this vineyard with. They have a couple of toasts, using the Merlot they are drinking.

Chisca spends the night with Val, but wakes up looking for some cocaine to have a fix with. She can’t find any. Val wakes up and she asks him for just a little bit. He doesn’t give her any and has her climb back into bed. He tells her they have to resist because they need to be clean for when they have children together. He goes the bathroom but on the way asks her to cook them some breakfast. In the bathroom, he lifts the toilet tank cover and takes out the bag of cocaine and serves himself some to inhale.

Epig’s new cohort stops one of Zaragosa’s guys in Cuidad Jimenez. At gunpoint, he ask the guy if he remembers Pig, but the guy says he hasn’t worked for him for a long time. But the new cohort reminds him that the first patron is always the patron. He proceeds to ask about the new plane, when is it going and what’s going to be on it. Zaragosa’s guy does not know, but this new cohort demands he find out. [Anyone know their names?]

Adela hugs the doctor who treated her at the hospital and gives him a little gift. After the doctor leaves, she notices a badly abused woman with her husband there with a story that she fell and hurt herself. As Peligros and Adela leave, she has a plan as the foundation director.

She enters the Garza offices for the first time after the explosion. She stops and remembers Miriam and the gift she have Miriam. Then she is introduced to the new receptionist, Patricia. Then she has a flashback to the explosion when she was trapped underneath some furniture. She notices that the offices now look like nothing happened. Adela gives Trejo a hug and gives the plan to rescue the woman she saw in the hospital. She brings the plan up to the staff, but Jimena wants nothing to do with it. Everyone else is in.

In Seville, Miguel asks Maria Terry if he offers her more money that anyone else can offer, will she sell it to him? She says she will think about it.

Adela finds Lily, the abused woman and promises she can help her.

The plan moves into action with Flaco calling the husband to offer him “work.” As he leaves, it’s obvious he’s pretty much keeping her prisoner in the apartment. Adela and Peligros go the apartment with Peligros guarding. She and Kenia get Lily and he children out of the house. Peligros gives the truck keys to Adela and says he’s going to finish the job. Later Flaco and the husband come out and Peligros gives him a few wallops. The abusive man is down on the ground. Peligros calls him a coward.

Maria Terry struts into her kitchen with her underclothes and a thin robe thrown on her. It’s morning, and she pours herself a glass of water and takes some pills. Mig pulls up with his friend Paco and says “thank you” to him but he would prefer to deal with Maria alone today. She looks outside and looks very pensive as she sees Miguel come to her gate.

In Madrid, Chisca is going through cocaine withdrawal symptoms. Val tells her if they can just get their hands on the Efilina, they would both be better off. Can’t she do it for them? He takes her in his arms….

Arrrghhhh...Not Val needs to die. But not you Cynthia. Thank you mucho mucho. How long does it take you to untwist your brain after writing about these people's twisted world?

Oh poor Howie and Whatsherbutt. Now that Miggy is onto them they can't do threesoms ang gang bangs for a while. Do they have blowup dolls for women? A woman has needs....lots of needs apparently for Ms Howie.

And wowzers, Miggy gives JIT (Just In Time) inventory management and manufacturing a whole new meaning. I find myself wishing something could go right for Howie Toledo, even if his personal life IS infested with maggots.

I don't know why, but I have a foreboding about the new Mr Portillo and wife, Miggy's former chemist.

I was soo relieved to see that Not Val himself is a crack head too. That is a major as yet undiscovered asset for Miggy in this ongoing battle with Not Val of which he (Mig) is not even aware of yet. Coke and Crack Heads generally have an inflated sense of personal worth and abilities which always is a major contributor to their fall. And there is ALWAYS a fall. It is just a matter of time. Migalicious, on the other hand conspicuously drinks about a half of a tenth of the amount everyone else (seemingly) in Mexico drinks. He does not use drugs, and exercises.

OMG now we have SCWT (Stick Chick With T..s) the vineyard owner who, instantly comes into heat at the very sight of Migalicuious. Who Knew? All the while sweet little Adela is keeping his place warm on his side of the bed.

Is Adela too good to be true and actually a secret serial killer? I mean I'm OK with that I guess, as long as she gets to Jimenema first or maybe second.

So Not Val wriggles out of this marriage conundrum by having talked his little wifey into accepting his plan and going along? OK...if that is what we need to move along, but I didn't just fall off the turnip truck and I ain't buying it. I have not written any books on women, but I have known one or two.

I really enjoyed Wonder Wonam's rescue of the abused woman. Peli rocks. That happened in my family until I came back from the war, then it stopped abruptly. Of course sourpuss Jimenema wanted nothing to do with actually helping another human being. And was soundly ignored.

I thought Ishiro was not supposed to let Chiscass out of his sight. Then did Not Val and Chiscass get them to bring in one of those little roll around cots for kids ? Because I could not spot his seven foot tall frame on the other side of Not Val in the morning. Hoo Man am I ever waiting for the day when Lurch has had enough, or gets the go ahead from Mig, or WHATEVER to turn the Valentine into a Get Well card. Obviously Not Valid did not see Ishiro dispatch those six or eight super Ninjas earlier, and must consider himself pretty tough, for a little fellow. Just can't wait for him to discover that he aint after all.

Cynthia, thank you so much. The writers seem to sending out every kinky plotline they can collectively imagine.

Yikes and wow , this show just keeps spinning out crazy, nasty characters. I guess Adela is our hero in this one with Pel, flaco, and Kenia as her sidekicks...and maybe silent, lurking, no nonsense Ishiro.

Mig continues as the strong, silent type that women supposedly love, but John Wayne he is not. 007? No, not Bond either. Women just keep drooling and throwing themselves in his path. Now, the crazy ,pill popping vineyard owner has let in her crazy eyes for Mig. Which makes me kind of want to see Irina back in the vineyard as she was in Vino De Amor. Maybe Gabe Soto could do a cameo .

P.s. Where is Viktor ? Does anyone else think that he looks a little like Valueless ?

Viktor is still trying to cancel the Cruise for him and Adela, get his money back from Zales, cancel that "I love you Adela" skywriting airplane, and burning all those embroidered 'Viktor & Adela' boxers and panties.

Thanks, Cynthia.

Howie's wife has way too much free time on her hands.

Adela was Gidget on the phone with Mig, while he was Moondoggie. But looks like Mig will do what he's gotta do to get this lady's land.

So Val's wife is in on his deceit? That was a stunner. I predict a cat fight between her and Chisca.

Niecie, ha...Gidget and Moondoggie. I had a major crush on James Darren and married someone who resembled him a little.

I , too, was surprised to see that Val's wife knows what he is up to with Chis and that they do seem to be in love.

Kirby...so is Viktor long gone ? Will we ever find out if his story and attraction to Adela was real or if he was working decisions against Mig?

Gosh I don't know. We / they sure invested a lot of time in him (Viktor) for a disappearing act. So I'd be surprised that all that would be wasted. UNLESS,....maybe he was taking the kissing scenes too seriously with Adela, and was let go. Just thinking what would happen if I were in his situation. I'd be over there with Weinstein by now if somebody was paying ME to kiss Adela.

Yaaa...the Not Valia being in on the plan sure came out of left field, almost like they said, "Well, shoot, we have him proposing to Chisca, but how do we work that with his wife? Oh I know....."

But then I probably would not make a good TN writer.
And don't WANT to be............................

Thanks for your comments everyone!

I think Isabela is playing along because Val made this offer she couldn't refuse as far as money goes. And she's willing to pimp out her husband just so she can get her hands on some wealth too. She is just about as bad as he is.

I have a bad feeling about Miguel and Maria Terry.

Susanlynn and Kirby, I don't know what they are planning with Victor's character. But I agree they have invested too much in him to just leave him dangling like that. Is there anyway he could be the hooded character leaving the envelope in the locker?

Niecie, I think you are right. Looking forward to a good catfight.

Oh and my favorite part of the episode was when Peligros beat up Lily's abusive husband. If only ALL abusive husband could meet Peligros in a dark alley with Peligros ready for them.

Who do you guys think will be Miguel's downfall?

* Howard
* Epi
* Carlos
* Val. It's been awhile since I've seen such a thoroughly disgusting and repugnant antagonist as Valentin
* The Mole:
Kenia, Trejo, Ximena, Flaco,
* Chisca, definitively not Jorge.

Was Trejo with Miguel in Japón?

Do you guys think we will be spared much more of NoVal and Chisca since they've been shoving this pair down our throats almost non-stop over the last several episodes?

Please tell me how Peligros was able to tell that Chisca's coke in the tiny, plastic zip lock bag was from the Garza product line??????

If Miguel hid the prototype and USB as well as Chisca hid her coke stash inside her closet clothes hanging bar, no one will ever find it!!. Chisca's hiding place was ingenious if I must say so myself.

I just find it incredulous that Miguel was too dumb for so many years not to notice NoVal's true character.

Cynthia, give Miguel (SR) long hair and I just might drool and try to jump his bones. Especially after his latest beach photos on Instagram!!!!

Carlos: As soon as it will benefit Carlos he will sell Miggy out. The others are probably not slick enough to take Mig out. A few of them, I am surprised they can feed themselves and use the bathroom without incident.

"plastic zip lock bag was from the Garza product"? Barcode? It almost has to be the purity of color.

Nopis, we are in for night after night of SlimeBall and SlimeBuns. Ishiro should ask for a raise, ..........and get his shots.
