RINGO
Ep 13, Part 1: Breakin’ Up Ain’t That Hard to Do…Especially When One is a Scumbag

Previously. Julia tells Ringo that he changed her life. She continues that her life hasn’t changed completely since she is still getting married that Saturday. Julia asks Ringo to save her from that. Ringo prefers to discuss it when she is sober. He picks her up to take her to her room. Julia confesses that she used to know exactly what she wanted, but she is not sure anymore. She asks him what she should do, Ringo tells her to do what she feels is right.

In Brenda’s room, Brenda tells Alejo that they have done enough…and Julia may hear them. As they leave the room, Brenda sees Ringo carrying Julia; she freaks out and berates Julia. Ivan hears the yelling and comes out. After Julia explains that Ringo was just helping her to her room, Ivan orders Ringo and Alejo to leave and the girls to their rooms.

Drunk as a skunk Diego goes to visit Guadalupe. He wants her to go to his bachelor party. Lupe assures him that she is there, so Diego grabs her and starts slobbering all over her. Zip to next morning, Diego wakes up in Lupe’s bed. Since he doesn’t quite remember everything that happened, she reminds him with her kisses. As she continues, Ivan calls Diego to remind him that they have much work to do.

Oso watches Rafa as he sleeps and tenderly calls him, “My son.”

Brenda chides Julia for being with Ringo the night before…Julia was probably going to roll around in the sheets with him. When Ivan enters and chides her for being with Ringo, Julia apologizes to him…she was very drunk last night.

An ever-emotional Oso makes breakfast as he repeats to himself that he is a father. Rafa enters the kitchen and asks if Oso is crying…but it was just the onions (which he seems to carry around his neck). As Rafa serves himself, Osos watches him in admiration.

Ivan reproaches Julia since she is about to get married. He would hate to know what Diego would do if he found out.

Lupe gives Diego a ride to Julia’s house. Before he exits the car. Lupe wants a good-bye kiss…which Ringo witnesses. Lupe and Diego kissin’ in the car. Ringo watches them and burned they are!

Oso lays down the rules which Rafa agrees to with a smile. He thanks Oso for allowing him to live there and gives Oso a hug.

Outside the law office, Eva assures Max that her father actually likes him. Max thinks Manuel isn’t such a bad guy since he did a great job in raising her. He compliments her, but Eva is distracted when she sees Alejo arrive followed by Brenda; and Eva’s little green-eyed monster emerges as she watches them kiss.

Diego enters Ivan’s office. He tells Ivan that he spent the night with the guys. They get to business and Diego calls Antunes, who tells him that the plans for the fight are going smoothly; Oso however, is the one who is having problems since Ringo lost his sponsor. Diego and Ivan then discuss the match between Ringo and Turco, which will be the “The Rematch of Dignity.”

RINGO
Ep 13, Part 2: Breakin’ Up Ain’t That Hard to Do…Especially When One is a Scumbag

In Santi’s room, Santi wants to stay home to help Ringo train. Ringo and he spar playfully before they leave.

Alejo and Brenda walk though the club hall kissing. Brenda wants to go to Julia’s office but Alejo prefers to go to his house. When Brenda comments that Alejo is probably worried that Ringo might see them, Alejo wonders what Ringo has to do with anything. Brenda gets upset and tells Alejo that he ruined the moment and leaves.

Julia tells Rosa about Ivan catching Ringo accompanying her to her room and getting upset. Rosa asks Julia if she is in love with Ringo. Julia admits that ever since she met Ringo, she is not sure what she feels. She feels horrible about what she is doing to Diego since they have been together for years. Rosa doesn’t think Julia is in love with Diego and advises that Julia shouldn’t marry someone she is not in love with.

Eva is ecstatic as she tells Manuel that she has been recognized by the law university for her work with women. When she leaves, Alejo follows her out and asks why she has been acting differently. He wonders if she is upset because he was a stripper at the party. Eva denies being upset and adds that if he wants to make a fool himself that is his business.

Diego calls Ringo to ask about losing his sponsor; he wants to help. Ringo, however, wonders why he threatened to put a bullet in his head and now he wants to help him. Diego offers to get Ringo a sponsor if he disappears from Julia’s life FOREVER. Ringo wonders why Diego, who is supposedly so in love with Julia that he is asking him to disappear from her life, was kissing someone else in front of her house. Diego hisses that Ringo had better not open his mouth about it.

Ringo enters Julia’s office. Julia apologizes for saying such dumb things last night. Ringo reminds her that she asked him to save her; and that is what he is going to do. After Ringo leaves, Julia calls Diego and tells him that she needs to talk to him. Diego slams his hand on the steering wheel; he thinks Ringo spilled his beans.

Manuel calls Martita as he stands in front of her house and pleads with her to talk to him. Martita comes out and tells him that she only came out so that he can see that she is fine. She will never forgive him for cheating on her with her sister. Manuel tries to explain what happened, but Martita emphasizes that she loved him at one time, but now she hates him.

Brenda goes to see Alejo. She flirts with him and after they kiss, her short-circuited mind sees Ringo.

Diego enters Julia’s office. Julia has been wanting to tell him something for some time… she feels confused. Diego chides her since they are supposed to get married in less than a week, but Julia cries that she is not sure that she wants to marry him…she has been thinking about it for quite some time, but didn’t know how to tell him. When Diego tells her that she has just destroyed his life, Julia cries that she is sorry. Before leaving, Diego tells her that he will wait for her. On his way out, Diego watches Ringo train and, as he grits his teeth, he grumbles, “You will regret crossing my path.”

As Ringo trains, he assures Oso that he will be ready for the fight. Osos then receives a call from a possible sponsor who tells him he won’t be able to sponsor Ringo after all. Ringo becomes upset and throws his glove as Julia walks in and sees that Ringo is upset; so, he explains that he is having trouble getting a sponsor. Just then, Teresa approaches with the notice to confirm the hearing which will be the next day. Ringo admits to Julia that anything can happen at the hearing; he is very nervous and he will not stop worrying until the judge rules in his favor.

RINGO
Ep 13, Part 3: Breakin’ Up Ain’t That Hard to Do…Especially When One is a Scumbag

Gauchin shows Rosa a laptop that she can use to talk to her daughter. Rosa argues that her mother doesn’t have a computer and doesn’t know how to use one, but Gauchin convinces that they can find a way to help her mother use a computer. Rosa calls her mother and asks her to go to the internet café and to take Rocio with her. As Rosa explains about talking to Rocio via the computer, Gauchin grabs the phone and explains to the mother what they are planning and that he will guide her in using the computer.

Manuel arrives to his office very upset; so, Eva enters to talk to him. When she asks who he is having problems with and guesses it is Martita., Manuel asks her to talk to Martita since she is her friend. Eva doesn’t think it will help since Martita is very hurt…and there are things that can’t be forgiven, but Manuel emphasizes that he was confused. Eva, however, isn’t sure that was the case; she advises Manuel to forget about Martita.

After the kissing is over, Brenda asks Alejo how long he knows Ringo and wonders if he already told Ringo that they are an item. Just then Ringo arrives and tells Alejo that he just got the court notification; so, Brenda leaves, but not before making sure that Ringo sees her kissing Alejo good-bye. Once alone, Alejo doesn’t think Ringo has too much to worry about since he has a job, lives with his mother now and will be making money with his fights. Ringo is still very nervous.

Ivan and Diego discuss business. When Julia arrives, Diego wants to rush out, but Julia wants to talk. They need to inform their families that they are not getting married…she was kidding when they talked in the morning. Diego concedes but isn’t in the mood for talking about it and leaves.

Santi watches Ringo train. Tere arrives to take Santi home, but before he leaves, Santi asks about the hearing, Ringo assures him that everything will be fine. A few minutes later, Julia calls Ringo. She hopes he is in a better mood and wishes him luck for the next day. Ringo is feeing much better, but still worries about the hearing. If he loses Santi, his world will fall apart… and he has three fights to win—the one for Santi, the one against Turco…and convincing her not to get married.

Thanks, RgvChick. Perfect title and also: Brenda’s “short-circuited mind sees Ringo.” That scene made me do a double take. Too funny.

So happy Julia FINALLY broke up with Diego. Took her long enough. I cannot blame Diego for being upset to say the least.
Revenge on Ringo’s horizon from him, too, I am sure. So we now have Diego, Turco and Brenda who have it in for Ringo.

A big thanks to Alejandro for keeping us up to date on the schedule.

On we go!

RINGO

Loved the title Rgv Chick!

So many little slices of heaven including "upe and Diego kissin’ in the car. Ringo watches them and burned they are!" which was amazing and my hands down favorite.

"afa enters the kitchen and asks if Oso is crying…but it was just the onions (which he seems to carry around his neck)" had me laughing. He brings being emotional to new heights, doesn't he?

Jarifa, I was glad that Julia broke up with Diego too and while she should have done it long ago, was really afraid she was going to pill a runaway bride escape the day of the wedding.

"Eva denies being upset and adds that if he wants to make a fool himself that is his business". Oh boy. And Alejo is just clueless, isn't he? First, not to realize who Brenda is and that she is totally using him and secondly, for incomprehensively forgetting that lip lock Eva laid on him meant something to her. Legal Sense. No Common Sense.

"She will never forgive him for cheating on her with her sister". Yup. That's kind of a big deal Manuel. "Eva doesn’t think it will help since Martita is very hurt…and there are things that can’t be forgiven". Your daughter is wise Manuel (except for her Alejo crush) - heed her advice.

Oh and on a sad note, Pierre Louis is not in the credits. I fear his storyline ended far too prematurely.

So who will come in to save the day and be Ringo's sponsor?

This was superb Rgv Chick. Another wonderfully woven tale. Gracias amiga.

Diana

RINGO

Tired hands today. "Lupe and Diego" first paragraph. "Rafa" second paragraph.

Apologies!

Diana

RINGO

Diana, I always LOVE runaway bride stories. If this were a dramedy/comedy, that would have been a good twist!

RINGO

Jarifa, I surmise the Julia Roberts Runaway Bride movie is a favorite of yours? :)

I'm trying to think if that has been done in any of the TNs? I think it was Teresa where Angelique Boyer's boyfriend (whom she really loved) tried to stop her marriage to Sebastian Rulli. She slapped him and went on to marry Rulli, even though she didn't love him. Not quite the same thing but that's all I can remember.

AMOR ETERNO #113

Kemal is with Salih and Zehir at the sea port. Salih indicates which fisherman has the answers to the questions regarding Ozan’s escape. As the three men walk the docks, a woman recognizes Zehir and he stops short. He slowly turns around to look, as if he had been called by a ghost.

A fisherman named Fikret tells Kemal and Salih he will confess what he knows only if Kemal doesn’t reveal his name to anyone. Kemal assures him everything will be fine. The man claims that all he knows is that they would be transporting very rich man’s brother in law and his wife. Salih asks Kemal if he thinks Fikret is referring to Emir. The fisherman interrupts and says that the only reason he’s talking is because Salih is his friend. Kemal says hat he’s helped a lot, and that there won’t be any police involvement in this.

Zehir slowly walks up to them, traumatized. They ask him where he was. Zehir barely says that he’s feeling fine. Salih jokes around that Zehir is looking pale, did the sea make him sick? Kemal says that obviously something happened to him. Zehir confirms it but says it happened long ago.

Zeynep is visiting Ozan and he’s wondering who gave them away. Zeynep simply says that Emir is in charge of everything now and he shouldn’t worry. Ozan says he needs to find out or he’ll go crazy. Zeynep tells him to calm down, they’ll solve this. Ozan then asks if Nihan will come soon, and Zeynep gets uncomfortable and stays she assumes so, but she wasn’t at the Sezin home. He tells her that it’s her home too and she should spend time there. She says that she’ll see what to do about that. Ozan says that everyone will be regretful when they see the results of the paternity test. Zeynep is looking guilty. Soon Nihan runs into the cell and hugs Ozan. He claims that this is his new life. She brought his pillow and has hope that he’ll leave prison soon. Ozan says he won’t be leaving. Zeynep claims that Ozan will resist everything for his son. Vildan tells her that now is not the time to be using her (unborn) son. Ozan protests, and Vildan holds back because she remembers she made a promise. Nihan comments that Zeynep’s luck ran out because instead of putting sense into her husband she made him do something stupid. Ozan requests that they stop attacking his wife. Onder agrees that now is not the time for this.

Kemal doesn’t understand how it is that Emir controls everyone. Leyla suggests that perhaps Zeynep was forced to do it. Kemal would like to know why Zeynep would be forced into anything by Emir. Leyla thinks back to her conversation with Nihan about Zeynep possibly being involved with Emir. She tells Kemal that she doesn’t have the answers but that he should investigate through other means. She adds that her own sister betrayed her, in the worst way, and so he shouldn’t let his love for his family blind him. She understands that Zeynep is his sister, but he shouldn’t be blinded by that. Kemal demands to know what information Leyla is withholding. She responds that Zeynep is very selfish and she does anything she can do to save herself. Kemal ponders.

Emir and Tariq are talking. Tariq wants to know what’s going to happen next, because it’s obvious that Ozan won’t be able to take it in prison. Emir says Ozan will have to deal with it and learn to take it. Tariq asks that be not say such hangs, and adds that his parents are worried for Zeynep and her pregnancy. Emir cuts his sentence and says that he knows they don’t want her to end up a widow, so he’ll do what he can to help because she is part of the family too. Soon Zeynep walks out of the prison and acknowledges Tariq. Nihan walks out at the same time and Emir asks her how Ozan is doing and she says that he’s devastated. Then he asks if she’s ok, and she brushes him off. Kemal approaches his siblings and Nihan watches from Emir’s car. Kemal confronts Tariq saying he’s come for his sister. Emir loses his patience and tells Zeynep to stay with her brother because he has things to do. Nihan tells Emir not to provoke them. Kemal tells Tariq not to start this fight before Emir, and Emir says “I suppose this is what the poor look like when they fight.” The brothers continue fighting and Emir drives away. Zeynep stops it by saying she’s going with Kemal for now. Tariq warns him not to pressure Zeynep. In the car, Kemal tells Zeynep to remain calm, but that they have many things to talk about. She asks if he’s really going to continue questioning her. He says he’ll continue with this until he gets the answers.

Meanwhile Emir is driving and offers Nihan a coffee that he drugged. She doesn’t want to drink it though. He tries to coax her into drinking a bit, which she does. He watches. Asu is trailing them a few cars behind. At the seaport, Emir is still driving and Nihan starts to feel tired. He notices and asks if she’s ok. She responds that it must be the stress, and that her stomach hurts. She knocks out. Emir stops driving and touches her to see if she’s responsive. He notices her wedding ring hand laying over her belly. He rolls his eyes and calls Asu to tell her that everything is ready and that they are on their way now.

Kemal tells Zeynep that she has not been responding to any of his questions. He asks her what Emir has her threatened with. Zeynep says he hasn’t threatened her at all. Kemal claims that their escape plan didn’t make sense because she must have known that they would be separated anyway. Zeynep says that Emir is not a bad person. Suddenly Kemal realizes that Zeynep has vastly changed her opinion of the monster. He wants to know since when, since she’s always called him evil. Zeynep said that if he lived in the same house with him, he’d understand. She receives a message and Kemal wants to know who it is. She claims it’s the bank and he wants to which bank. She doesn’t answer that but reproaches him for doubting her. In the end, Kemal tells her “Fine, Zeynep. I believe you.”

Meanwhile Asu receives a call from Galip. He tells her that if she has time today, he would like to speak with her about a very important matter. She wants to know about what, but he simply says it’s something important that he doesn’t want to say over the phone. She says ok, she’ll tell Kemal about it, Galip tells her he wants to speak with her alone. Asu agrees to meet him right now and veers off Emir’s path.

Emir has Nihan in a bedrest in some medical office. He’s thinking about her pregnancy and says “I’m sorry but now the test will definitely come back negative.” A strange Dr puts his gloves on and tells Emir that the procedure won’t last long. Emir reminds him that nothing should happen to Nihan. He exits the room.

Galip and Asu are at a restaurant. He notes that she looks uncomfortable with this meeting. Asu claims that it’s only because she didn’t tell Kemal about it. Galip small laughs and says she has no reason to fear, but starts asking her about herself. He adds “After all, I could be your father.” Asu says she doesn’t understand him. Galip remains serious and tells her not to misinterpret his intentions because after all, he sees her as his daughter. As she takes the tea cup to her lips, her hand trembles. Asu decides to break the formality and lets him refer to her as “Tu.” Galip then starts asking about her relationship with Hakki. She says that Hakki was like a father to her. Galip then asks what happened to her father. Asu says that she lost both of her parents when she was very young, and didn’t get to know them well. Galip laments and says that if he had a daughter like her, he’d want to meet her before he dies. He short laughs. Asu thanks him. A server comes and Galip asks him to not let anyone bother him because he’s having an important conversation with Asu.

Zeynep and Kemal are at his house. He asks her if she did the paternity test at her regular clinic. She says yes, but looks a little thrown off by the question and asks why. He says “No reason, I just wanted to make sure it was a reputable clinic.” She says ok and goes to the bathroom. He looks at her suspiciously until she’s out of sight and he begins searching her red bag to take a peek at her phone. He’s looking through her phone list and then her contacts. Soon he dials Salih and wants him to locate Yihip for him. Kemal takes the phone and exits his home to meet up.

Asu tells Galip that she has another meeting set up and needs to leave now. Galip says he understands and wants him to get to the point. He wants to know if she has a question for him. She wants to know about what? He says that he’s asked her a lot about her family, and figures perhaps she wanted to ask something about his family. She said that if she had a question she would have already asked it. Galip mentions that many people ask him about his wife. She claims she didn’t want to ask such a personal question but he says that it wouldn’t bother him. She asks when he lost his wife and he responds with “I didn’t lose her, but you already knew that. Those are the people that we carry here” and he points to his heart. Asu looks as if she’s about to cry.

Galip takes out a file from his briefcase. He laughs again. He hands it over to her and says “the reason I wanted to see you is because of my wife, Emir’s mother, Mujan Kozcouglu. I did everything but I want your opinion.” She asks about what. He claims regarding the school, the paint job. He wants to name the school after his wife. Asu smiles and says it will be a wonderful idea.

Kemal hands over Zeynep’s cell phone to Salih’s tech friend. He wants to recover the trashed files. Salih wants to know what he exactly wants from those files, and Kemal says he’s not really sure.

Galip is now sitting alone at the cafe. He threatens his minion that if he doesn’t find Hakki Alacahan, his own family won’t be able to find him either.

Asu gets back into her car, trying to calm down her fears. She calls Emir to ask if Galip knows about her. Emir says that he’s her father too and tells him not to be funny. She adds that Galip set up a meeting at a cafe and she suspects that he knows. Emir tells her that if their father suspects anything, he would directly ask him and starts bringing up a story about his childhood. Asu cuts him short and says that she’s not interested in his childhood stories. Asu then asks if he took care of the problem (Nihan’s abortion). He claims that nothing escapes Emir Kozcouglu.

Emir is back in his car with Nihan, who’s still unconscious. He thinks back to when he was standing in the Dr’s office, waiting for the abortion to be completed. The Dr comes out, saying he forgot about something and leaves the door open. Emir goes to look at Nihan laying unconscious and thinks back to when she asked him why he continues to make her suffer if he loves her so much. Emir suddenly says “I can’t make you suffer Nihan. I love you so much.” He repeats that to her as he caresses her and adds “if being a mother will make you happy, you shall be...but at my side.” He takes her out of there and has her again in his car. He’s still looking at her and says “It’ll be worth it if you stay with me.”

Tufan exits the Dr’s office and calls Asu to report that Emir lied to her, there was no surgery done that day. Asu looks anxious and wants to know why Emir didn’t do as promised.

Emir is still in the car, thinking to when he told Nihan that she’ll never see Kemal again. In the present, he says “If I didn’t kill your son, I’ll have to kill the father.” He’s making alien faces, moving his eyes around everywhere. Nihan suddenly wakes up and asks what’s happened. Emir says that she fell asleep and he waited for her. She’s still confused and says that recently she’s been feeling very tired but doesn’t know why. Emir says that that’s normal, given everything that’s happened. Nihan has her hand on her stomach. Emir finally starts the car and drives off.

Kemal is still with Salih and the tech guy. The guy tells Kemal that the phone is ready. Kemal looks at it and is stunned speechless. His eyes glisten. Salih asks “Who’s Yemel? What does this mean?” Kemal remembers three specific scenes: Zeynep caught by the window in Emir’s dark room, Asu claiming that Emir is the father of the baby, and then Zeynep reproaching him earlier today for not believing her. He drops the phone and is speechless despite Salih trying to get an answer out of him. Kemal sits down and Salih realizes something serious happened. Kemal says “Zeynep...”

Emir is at a cafe and gives Tufan a task. “If you don’t accomplish your goal, all of my threats against you will be fulfilled Tufan.” Tufan responds that he wouldn’t be standing before him now without being aware of that risk. Emir believes that is a good response. When Tufan sits down next to him, Emir orders him to kill Kemal. Tufan is caught off guard and tries to stifle a cough.

Kemal is back in his car, parked outside his home. He starts taking out his anger on the steering wheel by hitting it several times. He looks livid.

***
They keep showing that Emir has some sort of feelings. I’ve noticed that he’s actually interested in getting to know Asu. Now he doesn’t want to force an abortion on Nihan. Is it possible he might end up redeemed and Asu will take over as the villain?

AnonFri

Does anyone find it obnoxious whenever Julia says "Ringo"??? For some reason it grates on my nerves. And what a way to tell her slimy bf that she's confused, AFTER the bachelorette party and all. Very embarrassing.

RINGO

Diana, I never saw “Teresa” but Renée in “Papá a toda madre” ran as fast as she could after she took a look around and focused on what awaited her at the altar. Loved it! ; ) Yes, I did enjoy “Runaway Bride”.

RINGO

OMG I completely forgot about Papa. And I watched it start to finish. Thank you!

Diana

RINGO

Wonderful title Rgv Chick, and your description of Brenda's brain was perfect:

Brenda goes to see Alejo. She flirts with him and after they kiss, her short-circuited mind sees Ringo.

It's really disturbing that someone that delusional is walking around on the loose, and not taking her medication. She's a danger to herself and others.

Good thing "this is just a story!"

Thanks amiga. Keep fighting your way out of the undertow of Christmas. It's not easy though.

AMOR ETERNO

AnonFri! I came prepared to post some bits since I know sometimes Thurs. you can't watch, but so, so glad you were able to do one of your comprehensive recaps for Thursday's crucial epi.

It is incredible to me how you can keep cranking out these caps that capture, well, everything. Thank you for your time, dedication, skill, and insight!

Many characters were shaken up in this epi. I agree that the increasing glimpses of Emir's tenderness -- alien as it is -- seems significant. Maybe something will be revealed about his childhood that is intended to justify his behavior somehow?

That first scene with Zehir and the mystery woman was curious. Now?

I thought Emir had given Nihan some drug to cause a miscarriage. Surprised when she was to undergo an abortion, worse in a room that looked like some back alley abortionist place and not a legit doctor's office. Relieved when Emir carried her out of there.

The Asu/Galip scene was very interesting. He really toyed with her!

Kemal is still rocking his engagement ring. The Kemal actor is very skilled at showing on his face the wheels turning as he pieces things together. I was confused by the cell phone scene. The cc's showed Zeynep's caller as "Emel," but from his shocked and angry reaction it seems clear that Kemal realized it was Emir. Was he using the fake name Emel? Kinda obvious.

I wanted to comment on something that goes all the way back to last Monday. It was at the beginning, before AnonFri's recap picked up. Remember Kemal's odd and extended shopping trip for baby clothes back a long time ago? Zeynep discovered the shopping bags in Kemal's closet as she was hanging up some of his shirts. Kemal was ticked off and threw the bags away, out in the garden with the ring. Glad to see the writers did something with these baby clothes! That was before we knew Nihan was pregnant.

Okay, enough blather. Time to go prepare for the gran final de temporada.
Thanks again AnonFri, te aprecio demasiado!

Alexander, thank you so much for the scheduling information.

You have eased my mind! I was worried about whether, or when, Uni would show the segunda temporada. And I'll look forward to the 9 p.m. slot.

Clara

Thank you Alexander. I'm lovin the new time change.

RINGO

Thank you, everyone for stopping by during your very busy Christmas schedules and undertows. My lateness in responding should be an indication of how busy I've been...and now I'm preparing to make tamales which takes quite some time and effort, but it's a tradition and I refuse to go buy some :-)

Diana, I hadn't noticed that Pierre Louis is no longer in the credits! How sad that we won't be seeing him anymore. No wonder Eva's's love interest turned to Alejo because I remember that Pierre's character was excited about going out with Eva.

Oh a runaway bride could have been funny. Jarifa, I remember Renée running off in "Papa a Toda Madre" and that was a hoot. She ended up getting on a bus, didn't she?

Anon 10:24, I haven't really noticed how Julia pronounces Ringo, but I'll listen for it. I suppose that if I haven't noticed it, it hasn't really bothered me.

JudyB, "It's really disturbing that someone that delusional is walking around on the loose" Yes, it is! The girl really needs to be in some type of rehab center. I'm betting that she is eventually going to hurt someone; and it'll probably be Julia. The way she burned up Julia's photo a few episodes ago was totally eerie.

AMOR ETERNO

Clara! I got lucky this week. Today's recap will probably post tomorrow evening. I hope this season finale solves at least one of the major issues.

I completely missed the time change! If anything I would have expected the 8pm slot, but it must be doing fairly well if it got 9pm! Much better than 7pm.

Thank you for mentioning the baby clothes! I was wondering if Univision simply cut the scene out. I'm also wondering whether Zehir's scene in the opening was also cut, but I'm guessing we'll find out soon. He seemed disturbed.

I also didn't understand why Emir didn't put an abortive substance in her drink. But I guess then it would have been obvious to her that he induced it? And she could report him to police? Although I'm not sure how she wouldn't have realized that some clandestine procedure was performed on her even if she was knocked out. She would have known.

I still think that Galip has no intention to hurt Asu. The fact that she's a girl made Emir and Galip more curious than anything else. There's a reason Hakki is running. Maybe we don't fully know the whole story.

Kemal probably ID'd Emir as Emel, since the names are so similar and he probably recognized the number? Or maybe he saw the messages and realized that the content is stuff Emir would know. Or maybe he realized Zeynep was the traitor that caused Nihan to return to Emir, when she was so close to being rescued? I hope he discovers everything about Zeynep. She should be seen for what she is.

Maybe Emir really is an alien. He has very strange expressions at times, and has the tendency to hold a vacant stare. He also seems to be an expert in human nature, but that's probably just his villainous side.

AMOR ETERNO

Anon, what a superb recap.
Is it the psychopath or the socialpath
That seems to have a heart but really don't when it comes to wanting what he
Or she wants. In other words they can
Turn hot or cold on a dime. Cuz that is what emir displays everytime. Look how tender and sweet he was while he tells her he loves her. And inthe next breath says he'll let her have kemal's
Son but he will kill the child's father. And then he has the alien face
The man is insane. I think he probly had a crazy childhood. I can't even
Imagine......well maybe I can,The lies he was probly told about how his lovin
Mommie got her ouwie and wound up in her ETERNO sleepy time. Along with all
The other sick things he was taught.
Like when you want something and you just take it no matter what. He is a
Grownup now, he is at the age when he
Is accountable for all of his really really bad deeds. And he has done some
Horrible things. No he didn't abort her n kemal's child he just wants to kill kemal. Psycho!

Kemal don't understand how emir can control everyone. Me either. While it's a brilliant production that the Turkish people has given us, I hate the power This one character has on all the others. It's very frustrating.
No body is happy on this show. But it
Is a good show, my brother even likes it.

I cant stand zeynep, she lies as easily as she breaths. And shes good at it.
I'm so glad kemal is putting stuff together. He has no idea what little sister is capable of. But At least he
Is on the alert, Hussein and fehima r
Still in stupidville. And fehima is
So annoying. Can hardly wait for final tonight. I'd like to see burak(I think thats kemals real name) in something else Where he does gets a happy ending.

Thank you AnonFri. I'm so glad for The time change, maybe our patio will grow Alittle. There's lots of fun to be had with the recapping and comments of this show. Thank you for stickin with us AnonFri, and Rgv Chick, Clara, if I
Missed anybody thank you too.

Merry Christmas yall.

RINGO

RgvChick, yes! Renée ended up on a bus.

May your tamal making venture go easily! It seems that most of the traditional and special holiday foods tend to be labor intensive no matter the culture. I did my ‘traditional” kolačky (Bohemian cookie) baking a couple of days ago and they are all packed and being distributed to friends and family. There is nothing like your own recipes for holiday specialties. ; )

RINGO

Thanks, Rgv Chick. Lupe and Diego kissin’ in the car. Ringo watches them and burned they are! -- lol, that’s sidebar worth.

Yay, Julia broke up with Diego. I heard him mention how awful it was, he’d be humiliated with his parents coming from the US for the wedding, they’d been together blah-blah years, but not much if anything about being in love.

Alejo is a pretty pushy. Maybe one day he can get Brenda to take her meds.

So we’re getting 1½ hours tonight.

RINGO

Gracias, RGVChick.

Brenda is so getting on my last nerve she needs to be committed for the sake of everyone's safety.

Why isn't Santi addressing his father properly?

We know what kind of husband Diego would be, so what took Julia so long?

The most memorable runaway bride was Kate del Castillo as Ramona. I can't believe that was 19 years ago.

Rubí starts on Tuesday January 21 at 10p/9c on Univision.

This is the 3rd series from Fabrica de Sueños.

I was so excited to see a new version of the phenomenal telenovela, Rubí, was coming in January but very disappointed to see who would be playing the lead. I never thought she was a great actress . Barbara Morí was sooooo amazing in that role. Oh well.. At least i can look forward to The segunda temporada of Amor Eterno!!!!!

RINGO
Ep 14-15, Part 1: Ringo Loses in More Ways Than One

After Ringo tells Julia that he has three fights to win—the one for Santi, the one against Turco…and convincing her not to get married, Julia tells him that he already has that last one won and he doesn’t need to worry about Santi because he is sure to have that fight won.

Gauchin is with Rosa in her room. He helps her talk to her daughter and mother via the computer. Afterwards, they hug; and Oso is quite upset when he enters and sees them, so Rosa explains how Gauchin helped her talk to her daughter.

Gloria arrives at the club while Ringo trains. She starts crying as she tells Ringo that she knows she is going to lose at the hearing. Ringo gives in to her tears and agrees that they come to some type of agreement.

Eva visits Martita to invite her to her award reception. Martita hesitates because she is afraid Manuel will

Ringo gives Gloria his conditions, all of which she agrees to very quickly. Gloria is very relieved and grateful. She wants to celebrate with a drink; so, she goes to get a couple of beers. A trusting Ringo doesn’t watch her every move; so, Gloria spikes his bottle.

The next morning, Teresa has difficulty waking Ringo. She worries because he needs to get to the hearing. When Ringo finally wakes up, he complains of a headache and wonders what happened. All he remembers is that he was with Gloria who wanted to come to an agreement before the hearing. Just then, Tere sees that Ringo’s hand has cuts, but Ringo doesn’t know how he got hurt. Immediately afterwards, the cops arrive and arrest Ringo for assault and injuries to Gloria.

The cops take Ringo as Julia arrives. Teresa shouts that Ringo could not have done what they say as a cowardly Diego watches from behind a tree. Turco then arrives threatening to kill Ringo for hurting his wife. Still hiding behind the tree, Diego recalls how he explained to Gloria and Turco how they could win custody of Santi; he gave them the drug Gloria used. After Tere chides Gloria, Gloria shows her the bruises on her eye and tells her that her little white butterfly of a son caused them. Gloria then recalls how Ringo acted after he drank the beer—he demanded to know what Gloria put in the beer. Ringo realized that Gloria was acting and set him up. He swears she will never get her way. Gloria slashes herself and shouts that she won’t allow Santi to live with someone as violent as he is. Oso arrives so Tere tells him what is happening. Osos recalls how Gloria was yelling out and he held Ringo back as he cursed at Gloria. When Julia asks if Ringo hit Gloria, Oso denies knowing anything. Tere cries as the cops dive away with Ringo. Gloria approaches Julia and tells her a bunch of lies—Ringo called her to talk about the hearing…he was desperate. Ringo offered her a beer and tried to seduce her. When she refused to come to an agreement, he went crazy and hit her without mercy.

RINGO
Ep 14-15, Part 2: Ringo Loses in More Ways Than One

Julia can’t believe Ringo would do something like that; so, Gloria tells her to open her eyes; Ringo is not the man she thinks he is. Julia frowns and pouts as she thinks that she may not know Ringo at all.

At Eva’s ceremony, Manuel approaches Martita but she walks away. Across the room, Alejo gets a call from Oso to inform him that Ringo has been arrested; so, he and Manuel rush off to see Ringo.

At the club, Tere cries that there is something fishy…what a coincidence that this happened on the day of the hearing. She begs Oso to bring her son home after he tells her that he is going to the police station to meet Alejo.

Turco worries that the drug may be detected through a blood test, but Diego assures him that it cannot be detected. Gloria is confident that the judge will not rule for someone who hits a woman. They should go to the hearing without worry; Ringo won’t show up.

Rosa tells Julia that she doesn’t think Ringo is capable of hitting a woman, but Julia isn’t sure that Ringo can control himself when he is upset.

At the police station, Oso tells Alejo and Manuel what he witnessed. He saw blood on Gloria’s hand, but he never saw Ringo hurt Gloria. Oso then mentions that he first saw the bruises when Gloria and Turco arrived at the club as Ringo was being take away. Manuel thinks that there is something wrong with the picture.

Alejo is not able to see Ringo because he is being taken to be tested for drugs. Manuel informs him that the hearing will continue even if Ringo doesn’t show up. Manuel then calls Martita’s twin sister, Miriam, to ask her for help. After he explains about Ringo, he assures her that Ringo is innocent. She will see what she can do.

Alejo enters to see Ringo who assures him that he was set up. Alejo believes him and tells him that Manuel is paying his bail so that he can go to his hearing where he needs to be as convincing as he can in everything he says about Santi being better off living with him.

Diego tells Ivan about Ringo beating up Gloria. Ivan doesn’t believe it, but smirks when Diego explains that this will work in favor of them since the match between Ringo and Turco will now draw more attention. Brenda’s therapist then comes in to talk to Ivan. She sees that Brenda is calmer, but is worried about Brenda’ s new obsession with fire.

As Alejo and Manuel take Ringo to the hearing, Ringo tells them everything that he remembers. Ringo explains that he hurt his hand when he hit the bar. He is sure that Gloria will go to any lengths to win at the hearing.

RINGO

Loved this Niecie "Alejo is a pretty pushy. Maybe one day he can get Brenda to take her meds". Too, too funny.

Urban, if you saw tonight, your comment about Julia may have been a bit premature.

Alex, thanks for the info on Rubi. Too late for me although I would have liked to have watched.

RINGO
Ep 14-15, Part 3: Ringo Loses in More Ways Than One

At the courthouse, Julia asks Eva about Ringo; so, Eva gives her an update and adds that she does not believe anything Gloria says. She does not believe Ringo is capable of what he is being accused of.

Ringo arrives and sees Julia. He assures her that he did nothing wrong. Julia tells him not to worry and wishes him luck.

Ringo calls Santi who is now with Oso. Santi worries that Ringo has lost in the hearing since Osos is in tears. After Ringo tells him that he is just now going in to the hearing, Santi wants to go tell the judge that he doesn’t want to live with his mother. Ringo assures him that all will be well.

Ringo enters the courtroom and tells the judge that his son is everything to him. His son suffered much when his mother left; he cried all the time and had nightmares. Santi was a happy child up until his mother left him. After she left, he was afraid that everyone would abandon him. Days after his mother left. He had to be with Santi day and night; he even had to go to school with him to assure him that he was not going to leave him. His mother’s abandonment marked him severely. Ringo doesn’t have a problem with Gloria seeing Santi, but it is Santi who has asked that he not be made to go live with his mother. Ringo is afraid that his mother will hurt him again… Santi’s heart will not be able to withstand that. Gloria stands and bawls so the judge declares a five-minute recess.

Diego enters Julia’s room as she is thinking about Gloria’s bruises and accusations. Diego shows her a video of Brenda and Ivan wishing them luck on their marriage,

The judge starts the hearing again and asks Gloria to speak. Turco stands and accuses Ringo of beating up Gloria. Gloria finally speaks and cries that she does love Santi. She did leave for two years but only because she was in a deep depression. All this time she has been away from him has been hell. She wants Santi to know that she loves him. If Santi does not want to go with her, it’s because his father and grandmother have spoken badly about her. Gloria then takes off her sunglasses and tells the judge how Ringo lost control and hit her. She mentions that Ringo can’t provide for Santi and doesn’t think her son should live in misery.

After Julia listens to her father on the video, Diego wonders where they went wrong. He asks that she forgive him if he has ever offended her. Julia thinks that they should take some time to think things through but Diego doesn’t need time…she is the woman of his life. Julia agrees that they have much time together…and agrees to marry him (and now we know that short-circuited minds run in this family). Diego swears that he will give his life to make her happy ( and we do hope he gives his life…and the devil takes it).

Eva and Alejo try to give Ringo some hope as they wait for the judge to make his decision. Once they are called in, the judge announces that after considering all the information and the charges on Ringo, he has decided that custody will go to Gloria. Ringo is devastated as Turco and Gloria celebrate their victory. Afterwards, Eva and Alejo assure Ringo that they will find the evidence they need and file for an appeal.

Ringo calls Oso and tells him that he lost his son. Oso assures him that this is only one battle, they will fight and win the war. After he tells the others that they need to maintain their composure until Ringo can talk to Santi, they notice that Santi is missing.

RINGO
Ep 14-15, Part 4: Ringo Loses in More Ways Than One

Alejo again assures Ringo that he was set up. Ringo has doubts since Gloria has the bruise and no drugs were found in his blood. Teresa enters and Ringo cries that he lost Santi. Santi then shows up and asks why his grandmother is crying.

Ringo talks to Santi about the hearing and the judge’s decision. Santi reminds Ringo that he promised to fight for him…he does not want to go live with his mother. Ringo assures him that he will continue to fight. When Pepe comes in and tells them that Gloria is there for Santi, Santi cries as he tells Pepe to tell Gloria to leave and hugs Ringo tightly.

Outside. Tere tells Gloria that she will not get away with what she did; the truth will come out. Inside, Ringo understands that Santi is angry. When He starts to make a promise, Santi cries and tells him not to make promises; he doesn’t believe him. Santi runs out and gets into Gloria’s car refusing to give Ringo a hug before he leaves. As Turco drives away, Tere assures Ringo that Santi will return.

Manuel talks to Miriam who reproaches him for disappearing from her life. When Manuel assures her that he confused her with Martita that night, but Miriam thinks that he knew exactly who she was…he, like so many others, wanted to be with twins. Martita then sees them and asks why he is messing with both of them. Manuel assures her that he only loves her. Martita and Miriam then start arguing until Miriam suggest that they can share Manuel. Martita storms off.

Ringo arrives home still devastated. He enters the bedroom and cries as he looks around the room which is feeling completely empty.

At Gloria’s place, Turco suggest to Santi, who is looking very sad, that they go on some outings…he doesn’t even have to go to school. Gloria tries to cheer him up by telling him that they have bought him several things. Meanwhile, Ringo cries as he recalls spending time with Santi at the park.

Diego enters Julia’s room as she cries. He has brought her the tickets to Hawaii where they will have their honeymoon. He also wants them to take a year off to be together.

Manuel goes to see Ringo who cries that he did everything that the judge requested of him; he was sure would get custody, but he lost it all in a moment of weakness. Everything changed when he listened to Gloria…he lost Santi...he let him down. Santi wouldn’t even give him a hug when he left. Ringo felt like he was being eaten up b the earth; he was totally torn. Manuel tells Ringo to go ahead and cry so he can take out all that hurt.

RINGO

Two episodes slashed into 90 minutes of airtime including commercials; so this is short and to the (smallest) point.

Julia -> Really, really DUMB!

Diego -> DIE and GO, please!

RINGO

Sensational Rgv Chick. Just sensational.

Powerfully, beautifully and descriptively written. Your powers of observation are exceptional.

"Julia agrees that they have much time together…and agrees to marry him (and now we know that short-circuited minds run in this family)" could not have been more fitting! "Diego swears that he will give his life to make her happy ( and we do hope he gives his life…and the devil takes it)" was wishful thinking with which I totally concur!

"Julia frowns and pouts as she thinks that she may not know Ringo at all". Yes, she does. Oh ye of little faith. "Rosa tells Julia that she doesn’t think Ringo is capable of hitting a woman, but Julia isn’t sure that Ringo can control himself when he is upset". This was unsettling as Eva, Alejo and Manuel (among others) immediately rallied to Ringo's defense, without any reservations. Julia fell several notches in my estimation for having such doubts. And her agreeing to go back with Diego was disappointing to say the least. Even if shaken by what she thought Ringo did, she knows she doesn't love Diego so why go back there?

Several foreshadowings. "She sees that Brenda is calmer, but is worried about Brenda’ s new obsession with fire". The therapist is talking but Ivan isn't listening.

"Ivan doesn’t believe it, but smirks when Diego explains that this will work in favor of them since the match between Ringo and Turco will now draw more attention". I do not like Ivan. At all.

"Santi worries that Ringo has lost in the hearing since Osos is in tears". Oh dear child. Oso is in tears all day long. How could you possibly determine there was an upsetting underlying cause? Of course in this case, Santi was right.

So we saw that Gloria drugged Ringo and that he injured his hand hitting the wall. But how did Gloria get the black eye? Admittedly, I was running in and out of the room cleaning so apologize if I missed this.

What an excellent recap Rgv Chick. Thank you for soldering on for a much longer episode. I wonder what was left on the cutting room floor that we needed to see. What a shame.

I apologize for my earlier comment. I was checking to see if your recap was up and I posted just as you were publishing tonight's recaps and it landed right in the middle.

I know you were busy cooking and doing a hundred other things today so thank you for giving of your valuable time so we could understand everything that transpired tonight so clearly.

Thank you, thank you.

Diana

Alexander, thanks for the info in Rubí. Too bad it is at the 9:00 hour but I will give it a look.

RINGO

Thank you, RgvChick, for this excellent recap of a double episode! I didn’t see this last night and don’t know if I will watch it this weekend now seeing what a downer it was. I may just watch another version of “The Nutcracker” instead!!! Anyway, “(and now we know short-circuited minds run in the family)” basically says it all, doesn’t it?

If Julia didn’t marry anybody before the end of the novela, would she turn into a pumpkin? The need for everyone to couple up is just too much sometimes. I guess we knew that Ringo losing Santi and Julia was coming; it was just a matter of HOW he was going to lose them. The old “slip him a Mickey” trick? That is so “1940’s -ish.”

Diana, “Julia fell several notches in my estimation . . .” It looks like she did come up short . . . very short. I am thinking Turco did Gloria the favor of the black eye but since I did not see it. . . Hmmm . . I wonder what/how much will be posted OnDemand since episodes are usually posted individually. Now I may have to take a look . . .

RINGO

I just looked OnDemand and capítulo 14 is listed at 33 minutes rather than the customary 42 minutes and 15 has not been posted yet. Rats! : (

RINGO

Just great from beginning to end, RGV CHICK. Nothing like having extra work at Christmas time, eh? Loved the title and also these:

"Julia frowns and pouts." This actress has an odd way of conveying worry or distress. She always screws up her face like she smells something bad. Not a terrific actress in my opinion. Definitely second tier.

"(and now we know that short-circuited minds run in this family)". Yes indeed. Although I can see how the pressure of an imminent wedding after a strangely long engagement would have someone waffling.

Anyway, great recap. And Televisa...is it men making these decisions to run double episodes at holiday time? If you were women, you'd understand that this is the last thing anyone needs, either as a viewer or a recapper! We're busy in the kitchen, dang it! or out last-minute shopping or just cleaning the house before guests arrive.

RINGO

Thanks, Rgv Chick. You covered this chopped, expanded episode, and added wit and flair to such downer goings-on. Even though everybody's cited this zinger, I like it so much I'm doing it again: Diego swears that he will give his life to make her happy ( and we do hope he gives his life…and the devil takes it).

Yeah, we knew Ringo was headed for a fall. But Julia going back to Diego? I didn't see that coming.

Nobody, not even Ivan, buys that Ringo would hit Gloria. Julia flashes back to Ringo's show of anger (throwing a cup, braying at Turco...) and has doubts. Grrrh! Silly girl, how does that add up to him giving Gloria that humongous black eye?

At one point, Turco teases Gloria about her eye and she looks ticked/guilty. I think Gloria let Turco do the honors, maybe with some object instead of a fist. Anyhoo, hope we get a flashback of it.

Chickie, thank you so much for fitting a great recap of all the crazy into your busy holiday.

Uff...Gloria frames gullible Ringo, and Julia doesn't stand by her man but rather decides to go back to oily Di-EGO. Uff.

It seems that Televise isn't spending much of their budget on writers. No matter how good actors are , they need good storylines and good lines to say.

I hope that everyone stays warm and Well for the holidays.

Emir and Tufan are still at the restaurant. Tufan says: “Excuse me sir, but I can’t do it.” Emir says that as his employee, he thought he wouldn’t say no to anything he demands of him. Tufan again says no. Emir says that maybe he didn’t phrase the question right: “Do you want to save your mother?” Tufan still isn’t understanding. Emir says “If you don’t kill Kemal, I’ll kill your mother.” Tufan looks humbled and asks Emir how he found his mother. Emir says it was easy. Tufan asks that he not do anything to her, but Emir clarifies that the one doing something is Tufan. He shows him live footage of his mother held at gunpoint. Tufan tells her to remain calm. Emir says that if he doesn’t do as told, his men will get the signal. Tufan finally agrees to kill Kemal. Emir gets up from the table and says “You have until tonight. Don’t make my men work overtime.” He leaves and Tufan is tearing up, scared.

Kemal exits his car and heads straight for the house. He steps inside and goes to look for Zeynep in the room. He finds her sleeping. Kemal stares at her, then takes a look at her phone before looking back at her again. He quietly closes the door behind him.

Salih is home, looking anxious. He calls Asu. He says “Something bad is happening to Kemal: he read a few messages between Zeynep and Emir.” Asu is dumbfounded. Salih tells her that Kemal retrieved the trashed files from his sister’s phone and he thinks that something is going on between Emir and Zeynep. Asu wants to know where Kemal is but Salih doesn’t know. She hangs up after telling him she’ll take care of this.

Kemal is in the living room Asu calls him but he doesn’t pick up. When he exits the house she calls again. He answers this time and asks if Salih told her anything. Asu is asking him to calm down and not let his anger bypass his judgment. Kemal simply says that she was right, there really was something there between Zeynep and Emir. Asu pleads that he not do anything. Kemal asks her for a favor, which is to not tell Zeynep anything. He also asks that she not tell anyone anything or she’ll never see him again. Asu agrees, but asks where he’s at. Kemal doesn’t answer that. He drives his car.

Ozan is taking his medicine. He ate most of his meal too. He takes the opportunity to pen a letter to Zeynep claiming: “My love, right now the inmates are in the patio and there’s no one in the cell with me. I didn’t want to go out. You’re the air I breathe, even when you’re so far away. You can’t understand how much you fill me up with happiness. I thought I wouldn’t be able to take it here, I thought I was weak but realized that I have to pay my debts so that I can be with you in the end. The only thing that helps me endure this is you. I understand now that I was immature before, but I became a man when you entered my life. Zeynep, you’ve become my life.” He signs his name and hears a rustling sound from the door. He ties his sneaker and goes to pick up an envelope that was apparently slipped under the cell door. He notes that it has his name on it. He takes out two photos of Zeynep and Emir kissing. At first he starts to cry and get anxious. He thinks to when Zeynep tried to commit suicide and she told him that she was never his and thus could never be with him. He told her not to harm herself and she thoughtfully agrees but adds that they need to get married. Ozan then remembers Emir rhetorically telling him that forcing things always works. He remembers his mother ranting, telling him that he’s too blind to see that he’s the final piece to Zeynep’s plan. He remembers when he asked Emir through a closed door if he had seen Zeynep and Emir confirmed, curiously saying that he can still see her. Finally Ozan thinks of Nihan telling him that Zeynep doesn’t love him. He can’t take it anymore and loses his sanity, trashing everything in the room. He repeatedly yells “No!”

Nihan is in her bathroom, looking at herself and waiting for a pregnancy test. She asks god for strength. When she finally sees the positive result, she’s confused and then the shock takes over. She places her hand on her stomach and thinks back to the night she finally consummated her love with Kemal. Nihan is scared and puts the test down on the sink. She seems unsure of what to do.

Zeynep is now awake and walks to the living room. She hears her phone ring and answers Ozan’s call. He says “Zeynep, when I was with I could finally stop feeling sympathy for myself. With you I felt like a hero.” She notices he sounds off and asks what’s wrong, but he says “Listen! Even on the day I confronted my parents I felt like I was taking care of you, or at least I believed that. I fell in love and didn’t realize what you were doing to me, what your reasons were for entering my home.”
“Ozan what’s happening?” She asks, starting to realize that she’s been discovered.
“I was an easy person, right? Easy to convince so that you could play with me and distract me, treat me like an idiot and lie to my face. To cheat on me! Neither my mother nor Nihan ever defamed you to begin with! You were always an easy woman, coming into my home to sleep with the man you’ve always loved! You’ve used me! At night you used to run to see him-“
She interrupts and still asks what he’s talking about; Ozan flat out states that the baby is Emir’s. She’s shocked silent at first but then tries to manipulate him: “Ozan, what’s going on? Now that you’re in jail you believe everyone? Is that the case?”
“I saw the photos taken in Emir’s yacht. You disgust me. You’ll pay for this. You’re wrong if you actually think I’m going to die in prison, because I’m going to walk out and get my revenge on both of you! I’ve opened my eyes now, thanks to you.” He hangs up, waits a few seconds and makes another phone call to her but gets a busy tone. He gets angry knowing that she’s already calling Emir. The guard comes in and tells him his time is up but Ozan asked for two more minutes. He calls Nihan but gets sent to voicemail. He desperately tries leaving a message but the guard hangs up the phone for him and tells him it’s over. He forcefully pulls him out of there.

Zeynep is terrified. She’s on the phone, begging Emir to do something now to shut Ozan up. At first he doesn’t believe her that Ozan knows anything but she claims that he saw the photos of them together. Emir takes on the task.

Kemal is in the city and reaches Zeynep’s clinic. He walks into the building while Tufan is spying on him from a black car. Tufan gets the gun ready and looks determined not to miss.

Tariq runs up to meet Banu outside the court house. She says she thought he changed his mind about the wedding because he came so late. Tariq claims that he’s sorry, he wasn’t able to fix soemthing earlier and to top it off there were too many people. He changes the subject and mentions that she looks pretty. She replies that he looks handsome. They intertwine arms and go into the courthouse.

Ozan is so mad about his discovery that he’s telling his inmate friends that though Emir and Zeynep tricked him and got him arrested, he’ll make sure he gets his revenge. Suddenly he starts feeling unwell and the inmate with the red shirt alerts the officer that Ozan is feeling sick. None of them know what’s wrong with him and they carry him to the nurse.

Through all this, Nihan is seeing her gynecologist. The Dr hands her a dark blue box. Inside, Nihan finds a small pair of white shoes. The Dr congratulates her and says she knows she will be an excellent mother. Nihan can’t believe it. She asks if there might be a mistake. The Dr is taken aback by that and asks if there’s a problem. Nihan claims “No, I just don’t know if I’ll be able to keep him alive. How will I do it?” The Dr says that the rest of the results came back fine and all they have to do is tell the father. Nihan repeats the word “father.” She requests that the Dr not tell Vildan anything because she needs to process this first. Soon Nihan walks out of the clinic.

Kemal walks out of Zeynep’s clinic and Tufan aims but fails to find an opportunity to shoot because there are so many people around. Kemal drives off in his car.

Onder and Vildan are driving to see Ozan, as he has already been told he got sick. Vildan asks him to tell her the truth, she wants to know what’s wrong with Ozan. Onder mentions that it seems Ozan got intoxicated. Vildan asks that they not tell Nihan anything and Onder agrees.

Banu and Tariq are getting married. He looks ecstatic, smiling very widely. Soon they both sign the paperwork. She still doesn’t seem as happy as he does. Tariq kisses her on the forehead and she smiles, but barely.

Emir calls Tufan to ask him if he wants to know how his mom is doing. Tufan tells him to be patient, he’s on the task. Emir pressures him. Tufan says he followed Kemal to the clinic but couldn’t do it there because there were too many people. Emir tells him to hurry up. He hangs up and goes to his safe. He pulls out a gun.

Ozan is at the hospital. When he wakes up he seems surprised to see something approach him.

In the hallway, the Dr tells Onder and Vildan that Ozan got intoxicated with whatever he ate, and so they had to clean out his stomach. Vildan claims Ozan has no known allergies. The Dr says they will see the toxicology reports but reminds them that everything will be ok. Vildan is anxious to see her son and she cries again.

Kemal arrives at the driveway street in front of his home. He walks back into his living room and Tufan is observing from his car. He calls Emir to let him know that Kemal arrived home and that now isn’t the right time to kill him either. Emir simply tells Tufan to find the right time, and hangs up.

Kemal doesn’t see Zeynep in the living room. He calls her and she answers, in the backseat of taxi. She says she’s on her way to the hospital because Ozan got intoxicated with something. Kemal demands that she return home. Zeynep is shocked by his reaction and asks why. He adamantly repeats himself and hangs up. Zeynep immediately calls Emir but he doesn’t pick up and then she calls Asu, who asks what’s going on. Zeynep says that Ozan discovered the truth and she hunks he told Kemal and now her brother and Emir are going to confront each other. She requests Asu to run to Kemal’s house. Asu does as told.

Hakki wakes up and finds Galip sitting on the couch by his bedside. They both stare at each other.
“You were Mujan’s lover,” Galip calmly says.
“What did you come here for? How did you find me?”
Galip gets up from the couch and walks to the center of the bed. “I saw my son and Asu next to my wife. I thought I had a son but now I have a daughter. The one you presented to me as your niece, is she my daughter?”
Hakki looks stupefied and is openmouthed. Galip demands that he answer and pulls his gun out on him.

Nihan gets out of a taxi and sits on a bench, looking out to the sea. She looks at her phone and considers dialing Leyla, but then chose against it. She puts her phone back into her bag and puts her hand on her stomach. She imagines herself in a meadow with her daughter. “Can you feel when I breathe? Your heart beats inside me. Are you the true heart of this eternal love? How will you get all of this weight off you? But if you began to live, I can also begin to live for you. You’re my miracle, my lovely daughter. My heart. Welcome.” Nihan is interrupted by a little girl named Elif, from her art program.
“Who made you sad?” Asks the child.
“I received the best news of my life,” Nihan responds.
“But you’re not happy.”
“I have no one to share the news with,” Nihan says.
“Where’s Kemal? Wouldn’t he be happy to find out the news too? Do you want me to tell him? Remember he took me to the hospital to see you? He’s a good person,” the little girl enthusiastically says.
“No, Kemal would get mad.”
The little girl wants to know why. Nihan says that inspite of everyone trying to separate them, destiny keeps bringing her and Kemal back together, yet she doesn’t listen to it. The girl says “That’s dumb. Just listen to I t.” Nihan agrees and says she’d love to have a daughter like her. “As it should be,” the child answers. Nihan gives her a bill and sends her on her way. Elif is thankful.

Kemal is still waiting in his living room for Zeynep. Asu is driving as fast as she can to get to Kemal.

“You think I’m scared to die?” Hakki calmly asks.
“Everyone is scared. Hakki, I want a response. What do you want from me? Asu is my daughter? Confess!” Galip lowers his gun.
Hakki willfully says “No!” before shooting himself in the head. Galip is shocked. Hakki’s bloodied hand falls onto the book next to him, the gun landing on the bedspread.

Kemal is standing by the doorway and Zeynep approaches him.
“What’s happening, Kemal?”
“Sit down,” he orders. She does as told.
“What’s happening? You’re scaring me.”
“What is it that scares you Zeynep?”
“I don’t know, do you think this is normal? My husband is hospitalized and yet you called me back to the home.”
“Ozan is the one who worries you?” Kemal asks.
“Of course, he’s my husband. He needs me now more than ever. Any woman would react the same way as me. Wouldn’t you reproach me if I did differently?”
“What are you trying to tell me? Speak now!” He demands.
“It looks like you’re blaming me of something.”
“You know what the problem is with liars? When life gets difficult, they take everything personally.”
“Im not guilty of anything, but with everything going on right now it’s all so confusing and I’m worried about Ozan,” she counters.
“The other characteristic is that they give too many unnecessary explanations. I always believed in you. You had my full trust. My sister would never do it. Zeynep is incapable of that. This has to be a lie because my sister can’t be putting me into this situation.”
“Kemal?” She asks.
He takes out the paternity results. He shows her that the baby isn’t Ozan’s. She starts to cry and panic, but stands up.
Kemal begins to berate her: “Since when did you start lying? When did you start taking advantage of me? When? Was it that you were scared of my reaction? Or because you refused to realize that Nihan was right? Or you’re ashamed? Emir asked you to keep quiet? Why did you betray me with my worst enemy? Why?” He yells loud in her face.
“I thought he was in love with me!” She blurts out and pauses to catch her breath:
“He only used me to get revenge on you. I couldn’t control my feelings. I acted like an idiot. I wanted to die, commit suicide. But my emotions held me back. That’s why I got with Ozan. But I hate Emir! I hate him!”
Zeynep starts to plead that no one finds out. Kemal reveals that he tricked her. He claims he prepared the fake results. She’s flabbergasted. “It all ends here, Zeynep. There’s nothing else to talk about. It’s over.” He heads out and she cries after him, asking where he’s going. He doesn’t answer her and she heads back into the house, yelling “This can’t be happening! Damnit!”

Meanwhile Emir got the results over the phone and is told that the baby is Ozan Sezin’s. “Good, one less thing to worry about,” Emir says. Shortly after, he receives an alien phone call. Kemal asks him where he is. “In my house,” Emir simply replies, expecting this. Kemal hangs up and heads there. Meanwhile, Emir is looking at his silver gun. He calls Tufan, who is still spying on Kemal. Emir warns him that Kemal is going to his house now and he’s possibly carrying a gun. He wants Tufan to shoot Kemal then, anticipating the moment when Kemal gets hit by a random bullet and won’t know where it came from or who did it.

A male nurse enters Ozan’s room and looks horrified. He finds him dangling from the ceiling. He runs out and alerts everyone that Ozan committed suicide. Vildan and Onder overhear and can’t believe it. They both run to his room, but the staff runs after them and stops them from fully entering it. Onder is at the threshold and is shocked to see his son hanging from the ceiling. The staff forcefully pulls him out of there and closes the door, but Onder looks like he’s going stiff and breathless. Vildan, realizing that he’s having a heart attack, panics and cries out her husband’s name as he sinks to the floor and the nurses are trying to help him.

Nihan is walking home and starts to feel a pain in her chest. She senses that something is going on. She pushes that aside and convinces herself that she’ll tell Kemal the truth. He needs to know about the baby.

Kemal violently bangs on the Sezin’s red gates. Emir gives one of his doormen the signal and the door is opened. Kemal charges in, pushes the doorman out, and closes the door behind him. Emir and Kemal then stare at each other for a second, before walking towards each other. Asu arrives near Kemal’s home just at that moment, while Nihan is still walking home with her hand to her chest.

Emir and Kemal begin to physically attack each other. Throughout the struggle, Tufan is aiming the gun from the bushes.
“I’ll kill you in your own home!” Kemal shouts.
“So now you finally found out?”
“I’m going to kill you and watch you take your last breath!” Kemal says vindictively.
“I didn’t force her to do anything,” Emir taunts.
“How could you touch my sister out of revenge? This was between you and me! You and me!” Kemal reminds him as he beats him up and eventually has him on the ground. But soon Emir gets the upper hand on Kemal. He says “Zeynep did it because she wanted to!”

Tufan is still trying to aim, but he can’t get a clear target because of the struggle. He thinks back to Emir’s threats earlier that day, but is interrupted by Asu’s call. He rejects the call and aims the gun at Kemal again.

Kemal is struggling to overpower Emir, who’s now holding his silver firearm. It’s between their stomachs and through the struggle, it finally goes off. Kemal is stunned while Emir looks satisfied, yet he’s the one to drop to the ground. Kemal stands there and can’t believe he shot Emir. He’s watching him go breathless.
Tufan stares in shock.
Kemal still stands over Emir, and throws the murder weapon out of sight. He calls 911 to report the event: “I killed someone. Emir Kozcouglu. I killed him. Me. Me, Kemal Soydere.” He looks at Emir one more one and then at his surroundings. Emir lays there, lifeless.

Kemal walks to the red gate and opens it. The metal handle falls to the ground. He steps out and Asu meets him just then. She runs to him but he stops her by showing his bloodied hand. She’s shocked and runs into the Sezin’s property. Efsame runs to check on Emir, and asks another servant to call Galip. Asu runs towards the body and stands there; she starts crying when she realizes Emir is lifeless.

Nihan is almost home when she gets a phone call. Her eyes glaze over as she’s listening and she’s speechless.

Zeynep comes up the road, looking frantic. She sees Kemal by the gates while Nihan stands paralyzed just a little further ahead. Kemal notices Nihan as she’s about to lose her sanity. He starts reprimanding her: “You knew everything since the beginning and you kept quiet.”
Nihan isn’t processing a word he’s saying. She doesn’t even look at him.
“You are exactly like him” he says with so much conviction.
Nihan finally starts yelling out Ozan’s name and colapses to the floor. Kemal stops in his tracks and realizes that something horrible just happened. Zeynep starts to yell Ozan’s name too and panics.
Nihan starts to confront Kemal: “Because of you my brother killed himself!” She starts hitting him. “You killed him! He committed suicide! It’s your fault! Everything is your fault!”
Zeynep looks like she’s going crazy and cries too.
Nihan cries uncontrollably. Kemal is shocked and the guilt begins to overtake him. He tears up.

*****

I did not expect this ending! As annoying as Ozan was, he didn’t deserve to die! But what happened? It seems like something approached him when he woke up. I just realized that Zeynep propelled this whole tragedy. Without her, this wouldn’t have happened.

Poor Onder, I felt the most for him. I hope he’s ok. He’s the only one Nihan has left. I fear for her baby, that is, if Nihan manages to give birth with all of this stress and sorrow. And she hasn’t even found out Emir died! But now she hates Kemal, yet is carrying his child.

Did Tufan kill Emir? Is Emir really dead? He looked lifeless to me! He went down smiling. Creepy alien to the end!

Somehow I think Zeynep is being honest with her crying, but at the same time I feel that she’s just that good at faking it. Also I believe Asu was crying for Emir. As much as they were raised to hate each other, it’s obvious that they would have been very close siblings.

Did Hakki kill himself with Galip’s gun, or his own? That was scary to watch too. I don’t understand why he just killed himself without accomplishing his revenge. Galip can easily find out if Asu is his daughter. He didn’t need to confront Hakki at all. Also, is there a possibility Emir didn’t want Galip to find out the truth because he’s jealous? That Galip will take a liking to Asu and split the inheritance? Or is he simply torturing his father?

RINGO

Thank you so much, Diana, Jarifa, JudyB and Niecie for your kind words and insightful comments.

Diana, regarding Julia, "Oh ye of little faith." I too was shocked that Julia went back to Die-go...totally unexpected. everyone else did seem to know that Ringo was incapable of hitting Gloria, even Rosa who knew him about as long as Julia did. Though she witnessed some of Ringo's outbursts and may have had reason to doubt him, this shouldn't have sent her running back to Diego whom she knows she is not in love with.

Jarifa, "If Julia didn’t marry anybody before the end of the novela, would she turn into a pumpkin? The need for everyone to couple up is just too much sometimes." I chuckled at this, but it is so true! I really prefer to see a person happy, successful and not necessarily married...a much better choice than married a conniving, selfish scumbag.

Niecie, "At one point, Turco teases Gloria about her eye and she looks ticked/guilty. I think Gloria let Turco do the honors" I believe so too. In that scene, when teasing her, Turco told Gloria with a smirk, "Oh just look how he left you;" and Gloria responded with "Eres un bruto! (you are a brute!)." So that (IMO) implies that he was the one who caused the bruises.

JudyB, I really think it must be men who are making such inconsiderate decisions...men who think that their novelas are a BIG attraction...NOT!

RINGO

Turco hit Gloria because there was a scene where he was laughing at her and she mentioned that he had a heavy hand.

Julia is pathetic. Ringo should think twice if he really wants someone like her in his life. She seems like someone who can’t be alone. Ironic that she pulled a move her crazy sister would do.

AMOR ETERNO

That was intense. Wow. Did not expect that, certainly not all at once. No wonder there's a two week break. I need that time to process and think through the ramifications.

AnonFri, a masterpiece. You conveyed all the emotion together with the happenings, and your nuance and attention to detail help so much to understand. Thank you!

Hakki. I thought he pulled a gun from under his pillow. A quick dark blur. Makes some sense because he was terminally ill and knew they were closing in on him. Hope he did not take all his secrets with him.

Ozan. Until I read the recap, I forgot the scene where someone entered his hospital room! Thinking back, he looked mildly surprised, but like he recognized the person. He did not seem suicidal -- more bent on revenge. In fact, when he started trashing the cell, I thought good, he's not going to commit suicide. Who sent Ozan those pics of Zeynep and Emir anyway? Was that a set-up to get Ozan to freak out and be transferred to a less secure location where he could be killed? But who? Can't think who would have a motive but Emir.

Ozan was a pampered do-nothing, but mostly, he was not mean [remembering tho that I think he torched Salih's boat]. He was loving to his family and Zeynep, and could have matured and become a good father. The sad note he was writing to Zeynep showed some insight. QEPD Ozan.

Onder, no idea what his condition might be. Seemed like Nihan would have been notified, but who called her about Ozan? Maybe someone decided it was too much for her at once.

Emir. My eyes were mostly closed during the fight so I can't add much! Emir definitely looked dead, but thinking back, no one checked for his vital signs, and his alien self could return to life. I thought it was odd Emir did not have a more dramatic exit, some parting comment at least. If he went, he went quietly, and in a weird way, I will miss his snide asides and alien ways.

I wasn't sure whether Kemal had fired a shot and I wondered if Tufan shot Emir. I thought "Tufan, here's your chance to shoot Emir," but then I thought, then there'd be nothing for the new season! Kemal and Nihan would be free to get together, end of story.

Does Kemal know/believe he shot Emir? Kemal seemed to be looking back in the trees where Tufan was. When Kemal called the police I thought it was his nobility and guilt coming to the fore.

It is hard to imagine the show without Emir. Will Asu become the new Emir? Or is Nihan's anger and blame toward Kemal enough to keep them apart for the second season, even with the pregnancy?

This finale did have a wedding, but it was Banu and Tariq in a rather grim ceremony. Will Banu now say "sorry Tariq, I only married you as part of Emir's revenge plan, bye."

Will Zeynep's post-nup pre-nup come into play? I hate to even think about all the inheritance issues. Even if Emir survives, there are plenty of them with Hakki, Ozan and maybe Onder.

Striking visual detail: Kemal's bloody hand on the blood-red gate.

Happy Holidays all! And AnonFri, I know I keep thanking you -- but really, I can't thank you enough. Thank you!

AMOR ETERNO

Hey Nina, you mentioned you'd like to see Burak [the Kemal actor] in something else where he might be happy.

Don't know if it's been mentioned here, but did you know he is in the cast for El Sultan, now showing on Telemundo at 8 p.m.? Don't know how big a role he has. And doubt whether his character is happy. I've switched over there a couple of times, but haven't spotted him.

Clara

Thank you Clara that's good to know. I will check that out. Hopefully he'll be in something up to date. He is so handsome in those suits. I love to watch him walk in slo-mo. He walks with authority, probly learned to walk like that in modeling school. And He probly passed with flying colors.

OMG, AnonFri, girl you hit it out of the ballpark, WOW. All that good spot
On detail.

"I understand now that I was immature before, but I became a man when you entered my life." O no you didnt, he
Was more of a whimp than ever. But you
Are right Anon, he did not deserve to
Die. I would have loved to see him get
Revenge on that liar. And she did it so smoothly. We will probly be shocked to see who done the deed. Oboy, and it
Gets worse.

What a way to break a man's heart. Lie
To his face and stab him in the heart while smiling at him. And that's what
Zeynep the inept done to her brother.
The only sane brother she got. What a
colossal mess.

I don't believe emir is dead. This is the 3rd season right? Noo he ain't not
Dead yet.Lol. Bad English all for emir . That's how screwed up he is. He has
To be around to annoy everybody. Again

Tufan begging emir not to do anything to mom. I looked at him and said to the t.v."You and all those other dumb

Working for him? No answer for that ?.

So glad nihan found out she's with bab
By Kemal and not emir. I don't think her and emir even seen each other butt

Thats why I didn't pay him no mind when he was talking so sweetly to her
When she was sleeping from him druggin her coffee. I to thought it was one of
Those baby Killin drugs he gave her.
When He goes it won't be easy, it'll be hard.

Now mr hakki. What a coward. He would
Havd Asu kill her brother, that would be his revenge. That and keep Galip's kid Away from him. Until he'd find who she was by then she would have killed her Brother, and Galip would know That his Daughter killed her brother. It would Break galip's evil heart the way his was when he Kept mujan away from him all those years Ago. But still he didnt Accomplish nothing by saying NO and then blowing his brains out. Galip had Pretty much knew the truth.

Poor onder, he could not protect his family from the evil that is emir. He
Looked like he was dying. Wouldn't be
Surprised if he died.

Nihan, you cannot blame kemal for this mess. She Had plenty of opportunities to come clean and trust kemal. But she was more Afraid of emir than, she had more fear of emir than trust in kemal. Now I don't know what I would have done in her place but I would like to believe I Would have fought to get free of that evil. O well let's see what happens in 2 weeks.

I hope the actors have a merry christmas, and a happy New year.
Thank you AnonFri, Rgv Chick. Clara &
All you other ladies I can't remember your names, I'm sorry. I think we have a quaint little patio here. Maybe it will Grow in the new year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS PATIO!
MERRY CHRISTMAS CARAY CARAY!

Gracias, RGVChick for the recaps. I finally caught up.

I agree that Julia is completely in the wrong here but accusations like this are difficult to ignore. She also seemed to ignore the meaning of Diego's slimy talk about getting her away from her patients and just being with him for a year; this is a huge red flag that he is looking to isolate her from family and friends, knock her up, cheat on her, and turn her into his punching bag.

The judge should have asked Gloria whether she saw a doctor for the black eye because I'm sure it's eye shadow. It looked too sharply drawn to show the gradations you see in a genuine bruise.

Of course, this entire situation is a common trope designed to set up another challenge for the characters.

How does Gabriela Carillo tolerate such ridiculous hair? This is even worse than her asymmetrical cut in El Dragon.

As for the double episodes, Univision is doing this now because they don't want to debut a new series at this time of year. Ringo has a total of 82 episodes and there's room for them to be spread into doubles until January sets in.

RINGO

Thanks, UA! I had not realized that Edna and Gloria are one in the same! Wow, she looks so different in Ringo. And I agree, her hair in Ringo is hideous, but I'm sure that the monetary compensation is worth it :-) I too thought that the black eye was fake, but when she made that comment to Turco about being a brute, I figured he had actually done the deed for her.

Good insight on the Diego wanting to isolate Julia, definitely a red flag.

ETERNO

AnonFri, thank you so much for the final recap on Amor Eterno. You took on a tremendous task in recapping this TN and stuck with it till the end. My hats off to you and Clara for such extraordinary perseverance and dedication. It turned out to be quite a good novela; I just wish I had had the time to watch ALL of it from the beginning.

Clara, you're final comments on the gran final are perfectly written and insightful. Thank you for your thoughts on each of the characters. I especially agree with your comment on Ozan. It seemed to me that the writers set up up to believe that Ozan did not commit suicide, but rather, was murdered. I too suspect that Emir was behind it.

Nina, you bring a smile even in the darkest of events. I too doubt that Emir is dead; someone needs to make everyone's life miserable and I'm sure he'll be around to make sure that happens.

AnonFri and Clara, thanks again for all that you gave to us. I bow to you and send a virtual bouquet of roses.

Merry Christmas to ALL!

AMOR ETERNO

Hello,

I also doubt that Emir died too, but he looked lifeless to me. I wonder if they're going to pull the whole he's dead but months later his alien self resurrects and starts wreaking havoc again.

I don't know why Kemal thinks that Nihan knew about Zeynep since the beginning. Boy, he's going to get a huge surprise when he realizes Asu's the one who knew since then! I'm a little bothered that he defended his evil sister this way, when Nihan's the one that's been suffering for years! Zeynep made her bed and slept in it! She was forewarned many times.

Perhaps Kemal does suspect he didn't kill Emir. He should have felt the gun go off since it was so close to his body, and there would have been stippling marks on his shirt. The police should be able to determine the bullet trajectory.

I think I remember from an episode in August that Onder had a heart condition. I'm assuming he had a heart attack or stroke.

Looking back at Zeynep's final scene, I'm starting to think that she looked guilty. But then of course, she sent Emir to finish Ozan off essentially. Also, what did Tariq do that took him so long to get to Banu? Is it possible Emir paid Tariq to get rid of Ozan? Honestly, at this point for what? Kemal knows everything and I doubt he'll keep the information to himself. Nihan now has another excuse to divorce Emir. What was the point in murdering Ozan?

Happy holidays everyone!

AnonFri

Amor

Great recap...4 a great finale. Wow. Edge of seat drama.

Add me 2 the list of people who dont think emir is dead tho he shld be. I hope it was tufan who did the deed but kemel confessed so why wld they investigate.

Nihah is now with child by someone she blames 4 her brothers death. I dont see how she ever gets with kemel again. And he will torture himself 4 this. I hope they both find out the depth zeynep's deceit. I 2 believe ozan was murdered but y and by who? Emir perhaps because ozan learned the truth? Who sent ozan the pics...cld it be asu if so y? I wasnt expecting that twist.

Hakki was dying anyway so y off himself...that was cowardly. I do wonder if asu's dad will try 2 form a relationship with her...how does that affect kemel...but if he is prison...what can he do. I hope this ends farce of a marrige...but knowing asu...she will hold on 2 kemel 4 dear life

Nett

Add me to the list of those who think Kemal is not dead; however, he could have amnesia for awhile or Galip could send him far away for a little while till things settle and Kemal can be blamed. There is a lot that can happen here. It might take the police a very long time to figure out that it wasn't Kemal (Tufan?) OR...if Emir did die, it was deserved??) Perhaps, Galip will arrange for everyone to think Emir died (like he did with his wife), but....OK, I'll stop guessing.

It seems like we are all on the same page about ZEYNEP getting her due! She is the type of evil that is most disturbing because you keep expecting that she might come around or confess or whatever. Awful girl!!
The most difficult character to figure out--in my opinion- is TUFAN. For awhile, I thought his LOVE for ASU was driving everything but now I just don't have a clue.

When Emir took Zeynep on the yacht, you could see a man in the background shooting the camera. Seems to me that Emir had this all set up---to take her on boat and have someone shoot some really passionate shots so that he could use later on. He knew that what would kill KEMAL more than anything else (almost as much as Nihan) was anyone touching his sister, especially to be "violated" by his worst enemy.AMOT amotelenovelas

When they were fighting kemal told emir "this war was between you and me, why did you have to touch my sister?" Thats why he did it, cuz he knew it would piss kem off. Of course now he's probly wishing He never touched zeynep the inept cuz look...He's laying on the ground with a bigo bullet hole in his miserable carcus. And he said some horrible things to zeynep after the lovin. She probly felt like she was rapped. And after that she went down
Hill, waaaaaay down hill. When your brother talk to ya like you a dog, you
Have really slipped.

Come on 2020. Clara you did the final recap? Ok I thought it was AnonFri.
Ok you two are amazing with these caps
Just..... thank you both.

Have a Merry Christmas. God willing I'll read you in 2020!♡☆♡
